Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol (Stainless Pagoda)

Mentioned on
Sights & Landmarks
Buddhist temple
The Buddhist temple, also called the stainless steel Wat, is adorned with intricate metal art and constructed entirely from stainless steel. It features a symmetrical base design with 16 outer round entrances leading to an 8 inner round entrance at its center. The temple's location on a hill adds to its peaceful ambiance, as chiming steel chimes fill the air with serenity.
Better known as the stainless steel Wat. The entire structure was built with stainless steel. The base design is symmetrical with 16 outer round entrance leading to an 8 inner round entrance to the centre. Situated at a hill, constant chiming steel chimes exudes some peaceful and serene feeling. Very different kinda Wat. Worth the visit.
Sunny Lee — Google review
Please visit this temple at the early morning, cost at noon time. The stainless steel will be very hot after absorb the heat. My family love the environment.
Bruce Lee — Google review
The temple has a very unique architecture, a pagoda made out of stainless steel rings. It is also called Stainless Steel Pagoda / Temple. The ground level of the pagoda has various statues and murals that seems to tell different tales of Buddha (all description are in Thai, and I don't know much about the tales of Buddha either). The upper level has wind chimes installed, the sound it made when the wind blows is so tranquil and serene. I really enjoyed the peacefulness from the wind chimes. You'll need a chartered transport to get there - the pagoda is in the middle of hill / forestry. We chartered a car thru Grab (the Uber of South East Asia) for 4 hours, and visited the "Big Buddha" at Hatyai Municipal Park before coming over here.
KinnPong ?Neville? Chai — Google review
At first, we were not sure if it's worth to drive up the hill to see another pagoda. We decided to go after watching a YouTube video showing the craftsmanship of the stainless-steel structure, and all the details that went into the creation. Thankfully we did go, it's absolutely unique and very nice. Best of all: it was not crowded at all. despite being a Sunday and Hat Yai City bursting full of visitors from Malaysia. Entrance is free
The Travelers — Google review
It is not easy to make one’s way to Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol without private transport. The best option to visit is by chartering a tuk-tuk. Negotiate the fare as it could go as high as ฿800 (return). Always be reasonable but make sure that your tuk-tuk driver understands that he is to drive up the hill and not wait for you at the base of the hill! Your tuk-tuk driver will wait for you and send you back to the city, so your fare has to cover his waiting time as well. Pay him only after you get off the tuk-tuk in the city, or at an agreed destination. A visit to Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol does not require too much time. However, once you are there, you would want to stay longer to enjoy its tranquility, especially on the upper level of the pagoda. Do bear in mind to dress appropriately when visiting temples and wats in Thailand.
Emily Lowe — Google review
Special design. Must go visit at least once. Harmony environment, but reaching this location is kinda dangerous, not recommended for people who don't have experience driving on a narrow road.
Max CK — Google review
Approximately 2.2 km uphill from the main road. You must rent a motorcycle, a cab (driver) or walk up and down hill yourself. No cab or other public transport passes through here, unless you booked them in advance. The temple is located at the top and the road ends here. Quite a fascinating structure built almost entirely with stainless steel. It has writings and drawings on the inside walls but no english translation, all in Thai. To be able to understand the story written and drawn would be nice. Looks interesting.
H. R. — Google review
A magnificent stainless steel temple on top of a mountain. Windy and chill atmosphere. Good for family visiting.
Joon Wei Teow — Google review
No entrance fee is required. The pagoda is located at the top of the mountain; there is road access, visitors can drive up to the mountain. Visitors are required to remove shoes for entering the pagoda. The pagoda is built with stainless steel, beautiful architecture and unique on its own.
SS. Kong — Google review
Relatively impressive temple made entirely of steel. The journey here is abit long (30min) from the main town with windy road to the top of the hill. Visit it in the evening till dark for the temple to light up. It's a beautiful sight to behold. The journey back would be along a darkly lit road but its not too bad. If u have the time, do take an effort to visit!
Benson Ng — Google review
Hill road needs to be careful. Overall view is nice, please walk carefully cause it’s very slippery. The view is nice and amazing. Worth a visit !
TEH CHIA WEI — Google review
No entrance fees. Nice temple to see the amazing stainless steel works but is quite a dangerous road leading to the temple, if you are driving up yourself. Very calm place. A lot of Tourists visit here in every weekend. I went in the afternoon but very windy and comfortable. Structure are one of a kind, never seen anything building with all stainless steel. Spend around 1hr here.

Shopping mall
Central Festival located in Ampoe Hat Yai is a vast shopping mall that provides an extensive array of products and services. It is home to numerous establishments such as Food Park, cineplex, Fun Planet, beauty product stores, handphone shops, camera shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets including the well-stocked TOPS. The mall has a straightforward layout with plenty of escalators for convenience. Additionally, Halal food options are available here.
One of the bigger and newer mall in Hat Yai. Hosting enough brands for daily needs. From fashion, food to electronic. Layout is simple enough to navigate and there are plenty of escalators.
Daniel — Google review
One of the biggest shopping mall in Hatyai, Once you are inside Central Festival, you have everything you need and there is no need to leave. Most restaurants are located on floors 4 and 5. If you want to eat inexpensively there is a Food Park on Floor 4. You won't find any Michelin rated restaurants at the Food Park, but the food isn't bad and it's fairly cheap. On Floor G in front of TOPS supermarket there is another food court and you can also buy ready-to-eat food from TOPS, which you can then eat at one of the tables in the food court. In 2019 a number of shops disappeared from floor G and were replaced with food stalls, making the food court on this floor quite a bit larger than before. Quite a few food vendors are Muslim, therefore the food is Halal and there won't be any problems for Muslim visitors.
Bigman — Google review
The Central Festival Hat Yai is a huge and well-designed mall with a wide variety of shops, from high-end brands to more affordable options. The food court has a great selection of local and international cuisine, and the prices are reasonable. There are also plenty of other dining options scattered throughout the mall. The was clean and well-maintained. The parking lot is spacious and there were plenty of spots available.

💢 This mall offers a wide range of retail stores, from popular fashion brands to electronics and home goods. It’s also houses a variety of restaurants and food stalls, providing plenty of dining options. ‼️ At the ground floor, there is a food court where you can try the local delights. During peak meal times, it can be quite challenging to find a seat to dine in. Despite the seating difficulties, the tasty and reasonably priced food makes it worth a visit.

Beautiful decorations with Christmas vibes. Mini train for kids is the main attraction here. Lots of people so parking needs time.

This spacious mall is comparable with those big malls in Bangkok. Think because there is no competition in Hatyai, the foot traffic here is quite good on a normal weekday afternoon ( could be due to the hot weather when it feels like 40 degree celcius during early April).
david chin — Google review
Best department shopping store ever. Good place for your chills.

A big shopping haven.. Tops supermarket is well stocked. Got lots of street food available too. Spent a few hours in here to escape the rain. The Christmas vibe is vibrant now
jonathan ?Drfeelgood? — Google review
A big and modern shopping mall. It's not far away from the Greenway night market. There are a lot of famous brands here. You can find outlets stores and some local brands here too. The toilets are located only at the end side of the mall which is not so convenient. Also, not much trash can is available in the mall.

Hiden gem , there are lots of snacks inside the mall , n your favourite store “ gentle woman “ 😀. Love the raw prawns salmon , it’s so delicious
Naila Tan — Google review
I was there in December 2023. The Christmas decorations were up and it was magical. An incredible shopping mall. Was there to have dinner. But there were so many restaurants and eateries of many nationalities to choose from.🫶🏼
Fatin Shuhadah — Google review
Central Festival Hatyai, totally not recommended for a tourist like me. Its just a big shopping mall with a lot of shopping brands, but there is not souvenir shops. They have foods stalls at the lower ground, i love the traditional kuih but TORO Fries definitely not worth to visit. And for me, the foods there is a little bit pricey and limited to compare with the markets. But, if you're looking for aircond and easy access to toilets and surau, yes it is recommended. I'm not recommending the TORO Fries since the process took too long. Limited machine and the workers also love to joke around to each other. Even tho there was a short queue, unfortunately 7 people before me already waited for almost 2 hours for their orders.
Siti Khadyja Razali — Google review
The biggest mall in Hatyai with variety of shops. Worth to visit even if you’re a tourist as they have selections of goods that couldn’t be found in other night markets. Could be considered a convenient one stop spot for tourists if the markets are closed.
Lyn Nolan — Google review
An extraordinary and beautiful supermarket, high level of security and make sure citizens of 🇲🇾 don't forget to bring at least 1 passport. Security will check the boot of your vehicle. The mission of finding parking is quite challenging. Various viral food menus are also available in this supermarket. Clothing boutiques also offer economical prices.
Tiger88 Snooke88 — Google review
Big and grand carnival mall with many branded outlets. Of course with this prestige mall you have to pay extra VAT for your purchases. You can easily spend a whole day here shopping and patronizing the foods. Don't forget to check the food stalls at the basement with many delicious offerings for your taste buds.
Forest Ang — Google review
The mall is huge and tidy. Good place to spend the night in Hatyai beside their famous night market. The food court and food section located on Ground floor is great. Many ranges of Thai food halal and non halal also. Best place to shop till you drop from cosmetics all the way to household.

ASEAN Night Bazaar Hatyai

Mentioned on
Night market
Market
ASEAN Night Bazaar is an enclosed marketplace that features various stalls offering clothing and souvenir items, as well as vendors selling traditional Thai cuisine and beverages. The market's atmosphere is vibrant, bustling with activity throughout the night. Customers can browse through a wide range of products while enjoying delectable foods and drinks. It's a perfect place to experience Thailand's cultural diversity in one location.
Cheap place to buy a souvenir rather than Kaysorn or Nora Plaza. Trust me, you won't regret it if you compare these 3 shops. It's a really good bargain to buy a souvenir to bring to Malaysia. The food shop on the 1st floor is also best. There are a variety of local dishes that you can try.
Akma Raziah — Google review
A great place to shopping and the upper floor have variety of foods. Friendly reminder: If you're going to ASEAN Night Bazaar during peak season, it will be very packed with tourists. It is nearly impossible to have your meal at the upper floor. Alternatively, you can buy the foods there and eat at the ground floor. There's plenty space to eat and less crowded also.
Aiman Hazim Hamka — Google review
an interesting place for visitors especially from Southeast Asian countries. This area has interesting places to take pictures, shop for goods, clothes, gadgets, handicrafts and souvenirs. while the upper floor has a special area to buy food and drinks that may be difficult to find elsewhere. most of the food served is also delicious and halal. for those who want to relax and take the opportunity to take pictures can visit the back area of this bazaar.

Plenty of Thai food, but need to careful. Try do not but food which cooked and leave it open.. as I brought some...its cause me diarrhea n vomiting. Try to buy food which they cook on that time.

Good food and offers a variety of items sold, mainly clothes and bags. A tourist spot and quite pack during peak hours. Better choices than Lee Garden Night Market.
Najwa Naim — Google review
I came here at night for dinner. Lots of food stalls upstairs. There are not enough places to eat, so many people are struggling to find tables to sit on. The food is very tasty. I get myself daging salai and sup ekor. Feels like I cannot get them at other places. Downstairs are places to shop for clothes, bags, souvenirs. Also there is a money exchanger at the front
Syazana — Google review
Prices are not cheap and the vendors hardly bargain. It was different in the past, I guess post COVID, everything changed, they seems not interested to sell their products. Probably moving towards fixed price sooner or later.
Mano Rasaratnam — Google review
Visited to get a quick dinner. Found a very delicious ayam merah stall. The chickens are very tender and juicy. Slightly sweet flavoured, and matched very well with the green noodles or the rice. 50-60 baht each are enough to fill my stomach. Seats are full but you can find empty seat if you roam around. Make sure to throw the paper plates and cups in the prepared bins.
Sekai Peace — Google review
Food and clothing are cheaper compared to other night market. Food stalls are upstairs and everything is delicious. But it was quite packed full of Malaysians there if you go during holiday season. I went by foot cause stayed at guesthouse near the Bazaar. Overall, will come back again just to eat.

Uptown like pandan uptown jb. Selling various clothes and attires. After exhausted wandering around can step up to higher level to have vast option of thai cuisine. Please note that no bidet in the toilet.

The food arcade on the 2nd floor offers a variety of delicious Southern Thailand Malay cuisines at affordable prices. There is one stall selling oysters at a considerably cheap price. 10THB for small size and 20THB for big size. There is also one stall selling giant river prawn (udang galah) at a cheap price. 1st floor mostly selling souvenirs like t-shirts, hats, etc.

Flea & Street Markets
Kim Yong Market in Hat Yai is a bustling marketplace that offers a variety of imported snacks, dried fruits and souvenirs. It also sells dry food, clothes, shoes and bags allowing for bulk shopping opportunities. Along the street, vendors offer fruits and roasted chestnuts as well. This market is known for its affordable prices but it's important to know how to negotiate to get the best deals.
This market was packed on a Saturday morning. For a general orientation, fruit vendors are along the south and east sides, on the street outside of the market. The smell of roasting chestnuts here is incredible. On the ground floor you will mostly find clothing, shoes, and snacks of all kinds. The upper floor is mostly vacant, although this is where the electronics are found, along with a few perfume shops.
arvind raaj — Google review
Market that sell lots of dry food, clothes and so on. Good for bulk shopping and if you can bargain really well, this is the place for you. Along the street you can find some shop selling fruits and roasted chestnut. You go in further, you will find more nuts, clothes, shoes and bags. Everything is cheap, as long as you know how to bargain. They just started operating again about a month or two following the pandemic.
Sofea Chang — Google review
Visited this market as it is famous for tourists. Big place but mostly selling same stuffs like dried goods, nuts, fresh fruits. Not much shopping. Worth a visit for the fun of it but no need to cater much time here.
Cindy Ong — Google review
Kim Yong Market good place for buying snacks, souvenirs and clothes in Hat Yai. Not too far from the train station (9 min walk)
William Mitchell — Google review
Very busy wet market (indoor and outdoor) during daytime. The street vendors sell local farm produce mainly from fresh produce to dried goods. A lot of street foods and snacks by the road side. Just too many to choose until one could not make up their minds. Some food stalls take over from evening onwards.....
Claire Chai — Google review
Great and charming place to buy food and convenient daily items. Traders will pester you to buy their goods due to competition but still respectful of personal space. Would definitely recommend for travelers to come here to at least soak in the unique atmosphere if not buying something.
Michael Ooi — Google review
As a Malaysian, best spot to purchase edible souvenirs. Especially dehydrated fruits & vegetables snacking, pistachios, almonds and other similar nuts. Most of the vendors speak and do understand Malay language. A must visit spot in Hatyai.
Suriya Ravichandran — Google review
You can find many fruits, nuts and clothing stalls within the market. A one stop location where you can get most of the goodies but it get really warm inside and most stalls are selling the same thing. I would highly recommend a fried chicken stall right outside the market, along the road.
V L — Google review
A market you can find fresh fruits, chickens, fishes, dried nuts, kitchen utensils, toys, candies, shirts, cover (Sarung). I have found a hidden gem place for noodles and good iced Thai milk tea. It's somewhere near New Kim Yong. Highly recommend their noodles
Dwayne Yong — Google review
Come and take a look. We visited on a Monday morning. Quite a number of people here. Many things to see to buy and to eat. We bought cashew nut here yums!
JJ — Google review
It really depends what you are looking for, it's kinda like morning market and they have tonnes of stalls inside of the Kim Yong building which selling almost the same thing, e.g nuts, dried fruits, anchovies, dried shrimps and comparing the price on the street, the stall inside the building price is cheaper and you can haggle price all the way through, I'm not a fan of this but if you are, this is the place for you. At the main street of the Kim Yong Market there's where the famous Kaitod Meena is located, the stall there, the price of the nuts are more expensive. I will not return personally. 😅 It still might be a good choice to stroll around in the morning at Hatyai City.
Mandy Lee — Google review
Local marketplace for you to come and shops. Must remember to negotiate the price. It's usually cheaper than what you expected. It's hot here, if you can please bring along the small portable fan with you.

The market is big with a lot of items from toys, cloths to daily sundry goods are available. There are a lot of nuts are on sales, 500 THB for 3 packets which you can mix the varieties. Of course you can fin a lot of street food stalls along the road too. Again, road side parking space is limited.

This grilled butter white sugar bread is located at Kim Yong market. You may need to ask the locals for the exact location. The bread is sweet and very fragrant. At Kim Yong market, you can see a lot of local food and can also go shopping here since the price is cheapest. Dried food & a variety of nuts can be found here.
Fann Soo — Google review
Kim Yong Market is a large and busy market located in Hat Yai, Thailand. It is a popular place to shop for souvenirs, clothes, food, and electronics. The market is divided into two sections: the wet market and the dry market. The wet market is located on the ground floor and sells fresh produce, seafood, meat, and poultry. The dry market is located on the upper floor and sells clothes, souvenirs, electronics, and food. Kim Yong Market is a great place to find cheap souvenirs and clothes. However, the prices are not always the lowest, so it is important to bargain. The market is also a good place to find imported snacks and dried fruits. Here is my review of Kim Yong Market based on the reviews I have read: * **Pros:** * Wide variety of goods for sale * Cheap prices (if you bargain) * Good place to find souvenirs and clothes * Open late * **Cons:** * Can be crowded and chaotic * Not always the lowest prices * Some vendors may be pushy Overall, I would give Kim Yong Market a 3 out of 5 stars. It is a good place to find cheap souvenirs and clothes, but it is not the most organized or tourist-friendly market. Here are some tips for visiting Kim Yong Market: * Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds. * Be prepared to bargain. * Bring cash, as not all vendors accept credit cards. * Be aware of your surroundings and keep your belongings close. I hope this helps!

Lively morning market with so many things to buy. If you wan to buy nuts, dried fruits and snacks, head into the Kim Yong Complex to get the best prices. Sellers can speak mandarin or Malay so easy to ask prices. Many are friendly. I got quoted De-shell Walnut 1kg@600b Cashew Nut 1kg@380b Dried Jackfruit 1kg@500b Chilli cuttlefish 0.5kg@550b
Wilson Yap — Google review
The experience of going to this market is quite exciting because there are different types of food. Muslims have to be careful when buying because there are also stalls that sell non-halal food. Too much variety of food. This includes a menu of dancing live shrimp and tanghulu. Viral food is also plentiful here. The overall price is reasonable. For coffee lovers can try The Black In Black which is at the end of the market and next to Starbucks. The area is quite dense and parking is a little difficult.
Tiger88 Snooke88 — Google review

Fun place for the family. The 3D Art now incorporates AR, and the pictures come to life now. The museum is quite informative, and they do have a cafe that serves simple meals and fresh bakery items. There is a in house illusionist, Black Crystal, and they run show 4 times a day. Pre book your tickets for a confirmed showing. Otherwise, the shows only run if there is a min of 10 customers. Parking is ample

We have the usual 3D art with AR. It’s a bit pricey for the number of 3D pieces. The magic show is good but most of its magic is shrouded in darkness therefore making the illusion not very convincing. Good to pass some time and taking photos and having fun

Second time here. Food tasted better than on first visit 4yrs ago. Family style service, but food came quite quickly.
AudRey Sim — Google review
Came here by recommendations on Google and food blogs, and was sorely disappointed by the food. I don’t mean food was bad, it was just ordinary and not worthy of rave reviews. We ordered two fish maw dishes and both tasted as if the fish maw wasn’t cleaned properly prior to preparation. The bitter gourd and egg dish was passable, although slightly too salty for my liking. The saving grace was the mango salad, although that also received mixed reviews among the people I was travelling with. Will not be back here again.

The food is great, nice, reasonably priced and quite a nice portion. Location is pretty new to the city center with about 500m walk frm the hotel. Usually filled to the brim with tourists on weekends. The food is decent mix of Thai and Chinese fusion. Worth a visit if you are there.

The place used to be family favourite but unfortunately after today's visit we are so disappointed with the service. We called for steam fish and the fish came under cooked. When we complaint they never apologise and took the fish and it comes back overcooked. The price is so pricey and the food that we ordered does not worth the amount of money.

Generally, the food is fine for Chinese food. The morning glory is a bit way more salty & the crab curry dish has lots of shells, which caused us to constantly pick out the shells from our mouth 😔. But I must say the fried sand fish is really good. Recommended!

Foods quite good but the serving is quite small. Serving time once order was really fast and staff serving also very efficient. Only setback was the prices quite expensive among many Thai restaurants around Hatyai maybe because it's also famous and well known with tourists. Once a restaurants and food is good with so many great comments from customers especially tourists they will start to increase their prices and some restaurants the foods is good slowly changes of their tastes.

The shop has two separate units but just opposite side of the road. Really a great variety to choose from and price is still reasonable. Wife said Penang ones better but I think theirs is better than Penang’s ( I always think Penang’s street food are good except coffee and tim sum).

If you don’t like pig organs, tell them before you order Bukkute soup. Yummy dim sum dishes. The Chinese fried bun is a little too oily.

Just reached. Short walk from central Hat Yai. There are 2 shops across the street from each other. One is an old shop with an array of dim sum for selection at the front. After you have selected, you can proceed to the air-conditioned restaurant across the street. Alternatively, you can walk straight into the air conditioned restaurant and order. We also ordered the Bak kut teh!! Let me try.. 😂

Many Varieties of Dim Sum here. Well Thai Dim Sum definitely different from Kuala Lumpur Dim Sum. Overall is good but some of my dim sum were overly steamed till turned soggy! No long waiting and the restaurant is clean.

Cafe' Der See Nakornnok is a charming spot situated in the Old Town of Songkhla, offering a wide selection of traditional Thai dishes and beverages including coffee and local as well as German beers. The cafe has an artistic ambiance with various paintings displayed in the main area. However, the most captivating feature is its lakeside porch providing a stunning setting to enjoy your meal or drink.
A very pretty address with a large terrace. The café has a very varied menu and the food is really, really good for a very correct price, not expensive! Attentive service, fresh products and a view of the water and fishermans, so chill out. Please note that everything is super clean also. Have to come back another time🇹🇭😎☝

I did order deep fired crayfish with garlic several time from grab. I kinda love this menu. Must try. This is my first time visit here but quite impressed all vibe and mood. This place is really for hangout. Drink and dessert are available. Variety type of beer. The seafood here also yummy. Serve in small portion. Price is quite expensive but good quality of food and service.

Amazing seafood and super cheap price for the quality we got. Most probably the best food i've had in Thailand

Café der See is beautifully located in the Old Town of Songkhla. They offer a vide range of good staple Thai dishes. The place has an artsy touch with a lot of paintings exhibited in the main room. They also serve coffee as well as a good range of different local and German beers. The true highlight is the porch on the lake. The setting is just gorgeous. But make sure to put on some mosquito repellent (which they provide at the place)

One of the few places one can sit on the ocean to enjoy a drink or meal. Obviously a German speaker owned place with good coffee and cold drinks. We cane back for dinner as it was one if the fee places open. We haven’t been disappointed. We had a delicious soft shell grab, fried mackerel and stir fried veggies. Wonderful. Love the style and deco of this place. Sadly though they are still using plastic cups and plastic straws.

Great food and great service. The best part of the reaturant is the view looking over the lake. Absolutely lovely.

Nice quiet restaurant next to the river mouth. Food is delicious and reasonably priced for Malaysian standard. I would recommend for a relaxing and delicious lunch spot.

The shop’s front is a cafe, and proceed further inwards, you will have the view, of the lake. I selected international beers to spend my time and fried fish and squid to spend lunchtime. I would recommend this place, as it is reasonably priced. It was pleasant and enjoyable to sit by the lake.

Cafe Der See in Songkhla Old Town offers both Thai and Western cuisine and comes with an Art Gallery corner. The added bonus is the view from the extended jetty. A lovely place to soak in the relaxing atmosphere.

Very nice ambiance. I was here for brunch. I ordered stir-fried squid on sweet and sour sauce on rice with omelette. And it comes with a good soup too. The service was just good. Downside: I also ordered iced-green tea but it seems like it is the powdered product one that they’d used. I can say with taste. I don’t like the powder. I’m a fan of the leaves-filtered one.

Fish Kitchen is a renowned seafood restaurant in Songkhla Province, known for its beautiful food and excellent service. The restaurant offers a wide selection of delicious Asian-inspired seafood dishes. Located in the old Malay Kingdom of Langkasuka with heavy Srivijayan influence, Fish Kitchen has been under Thai suzerainty since the 18th century. It was previously a port and coastal trading post where merchants from India, Persia, and Arabia exchanged their products.
This place is a hidden gem and the most underrated restaurant. This is the 2nd time I am here. Though the food stall is small, the food is awesome! If you need help ordering, One of the ladies can speak Mandarin or you can just use Google translate. Must have the fried fish with herbs. It's my all time favourite. The egg with Cha Om is a special order. You also can specify the level of spiciness of your food. Highly recommended.

We came early when the kitchen is getting started. Service was fast. Food: taste but need to add more flavour. Maybe they see us as foreigners and try to be mild. Boss can speak mandarin too.

Thanks to all the previous reviews, as they helped us easily decide to go to this place. The food was awesome. Serving was huge for me and my husband, and the owner of the restaurant and the food attendants were super nice. The ambiance was wonderful too! We love how the tables and chairs make it feel like you're dining at your ancestor's house. They also take advantage of natural ventilation, which makes it more fantastic.

Owner actually closed and we ask them to open and cook something for us . They said not much food which we told them just cook wherever you have. Delicious lemon steam Seabrass, boiled cockles with the green chilies seafood sauce , Mango salad and steam prawns. So yummy and will be back my next trips. Thank you for the great lunch and happy stomach, happy mood.

Best Food We Had in Hatyai. Gave us kampung vibes. The Cooks was friendly and could speak decent English, was very helpful.
Ravin Raj — Google review
Yummy food with a friendly owner! It was a great comfort to have an English speaking owner/waitress. Very clean shop. The taste was on point. Although the food was slightly on the expensive side, the taste was too good that paying that much wasn't a pain at all. Took a 15 minutes drive from the city centre but worth the journey. Overall it is a wonderful experience! Worth every penny....w

Bar & grill
I have come across several establishments in Hat Yai, such as Bansuan Coffee, The Basil, Billin Cafe Bistro, and many others. However, one restaurant that stands out is Homeless Bar & Grill. This particular bar and grill has been highly recommended for its remarkable food quality. If you are seeking Western cuisine in Hat Yai, then this place is a must-visit. Their pork ribs are particularly impressive and can be considered among the finest I have tasted recently.
Walking up to the Homeless Bar & Grill, the smell of pork and beef smoking over hot coals magically transported me across the Pacific Ocean all the way to Texas. If an Asian wants a Western Barbecue experience in Thailand, the Homeless Bar & Grill is a must visit. You may see a few extra kilograms on your scale the next day, but that is why we have legs and a brain to know what to do with them.

Good place to eat a burger. They are delicious and the price is cheap. Music choice is very good, and create nice atmosphere. It was a pity during my stay that they didn't have draft beer.

Loved it here. The Caesar salad was delicious and the ambience was just wonderful, there was live music and the staff were great. If I ever come back to Hat Yai I’ll def come back here 👏🏼

Another hidden gem in a quiet street just a stone's throw away from Westside saloon. Western food is very good here at very reasonable price. Interior deco is very rustic and has a hippie feel...perfect place to chillax after work. Their craft beer is very good as well.

Here for a drinks to end my halloween night 🎃 Google recommended similar places when i was looking for a place to chill in Hatyai. It looks cool so i thought why not give it a try to explore cool places in this beautiful town. Small bar & grill with live band. Not too crowded but i kinda like the atmosphere here. We had small singha beer. Only THB80/bottle Come check out this place if you are around Happy halloween 👻

Homemade burger and steakhouse are the best for alcohol. To enjoy a chilled night vibe, Premium cocktail with rock music are definitions of this place. You can take a seat either indoor and backyard. Food price is quite high but taste of them are delicious. The bistro have located opposite the coffee shop.
