Points of Interest & Landmarks
The Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple is a magnificent shrine located within the Thirupuram spiritual park in Tamil Nadu, India. The temple boasts an ornate gold-covered structure surrounded by beautiful gardens and a star-shaped path. Positioned at the foot of green hills in Thirumalaikodi, it's easily accessible from major cities like Tirupati, Chennai, Pondicherry and Bengaluru.
Golden Temple Vellore complex inside the Thirupuram spiritual park is situated at the foot of a small range of green hills at Thirumalaikodi (or simply Malaikodi) Vellore in Tamil Nadu, India. It is 120 km from Tirupati, 145 km from Chennai, 160 km from Pondicherry and 200 km from Bengaluru. The Maha Kumbhabhishekam or consecration of the temple and its chief deity, Sri Lakshmi Narayani or Maha Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, was held on 24 August 2007, and devotees from all religions and backgrounds are welcome to visit. The salient feature of 'Thirupuram' is the Lakshmi Narayani temple whose Vimanam and Ardha Mandapam is covered with pure gold, housing the deity Sri Lakshmi Narayani (female consort/wife of Vishnu Narayana). The temple is located on 100 acres of land and has been constructed by the Vellore-based charitable trust, Sri Narayani Peedam, headed by its spiritual leader Sri Sakthi Amma also known as 'Narayani Amma'. The temple with its gold covering, has intricate work done by artisans specialising in temple art using gold. Every single detail was manually created, including converting the gold bars into gold foils and then mounting the foils on copper. Gold foil from 9 layers to 10 layers has been mounted on the etched copper plates. Every single detail in the temple art has significance from the Vedas.[1] Sripuram's design features a star-shaped path (Sri chakra), positioned in the middle of the lush green landscape, with a length of over 1.8 km. As one walks along this 'starpath' to reach the temple in the middle, one can also read various spiritual messages -- such as the gift of the human birth itself, and the value of spirituality -- along the way.

Nicknamed the Golden Temple in Vellore.. It's 4.5 kms from city area. The temple is very clean and has huge space. There are different entrance fees based on which you can enter the temple and offer seva. They also have food court and souvenir shops around it.

Wow just wow. A star shaped path to built as the main temple is situated in the centre. There is absolutely no problem for even senior citizens who wants to visit as they have seating all around the path.

Best place to visit and take blessings from Goddess Lakshmi. You can also get blessings from Lord Ganesha and Lord Venkateshwara. Please note whichever tickets you buy you need to walk in star shape to see Lakshmi goddess at least which will be around 2.5 km. If elderly people are unable to walk request for wheel chair and they’ll allow from other short distance. Mobiles and bags not allowed so you have to deposit in safe lockers. You also get opportunity to do abhishekam for Goddess Lakshmi which is made of 20kg gold. Do enquire about it inside. Best place to visit in evening so that lighting’s can also be seen.

Best place to visit.... Don't go for 100 rupees ticket rather than better to go in general line... Because both are takes same time... Better to go in general line .. it takes one hour total... Because u have to walk for 45 mins nearly around the temple.... But feels good... Lots of crowd at end .... Annadanam starts at 12pm.... Nice ambience... They will not allow mobile's...
Harsha Lokireddy — Google review
It is beautiful and big. Annadanam everyday from 12-3 pm. Darshanam opens at 12:30pm for 'Free' entry. And two other VIP entries available at ₹100, ₹250 which opens before the 'Free' entry. Phones are not allowed so they have to be submitted at counter on your way to Darshanam.

Temple was superb, nice ambience .u can enjoy at night time. My personal point of view is someone there I don't know who is he in every picture with amma varuu. I don't know why is in all picture he is trying to be God for me I don't like it u can't buy without single photo frame of amma varuuu & u can't buy single thing without his photo

Top destination to visit... Avoid purchasing a ticket for 100 rupees; it is preferable to go through the regular line. As both require the same amount of time... It's best to go in general line; the entire process takes one hour. since almost the entire temple must be walked in 45 minutes. However, it feels good... Large audience at the conclusion. Annadanam begins at 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 pm

Jalakanteswarar Temple, Vellore is a 16th-century Hindu temple displaying classic Vijayanagaram architecture. The temple features an intricately carved tower and hosts beautiful classical dance programs. The campus is quite large with a green environment ideal for walking and running. Visitors can enjoy spending time in the park, although some cleaning work is required as people tend to throw plastic waste there.
Good Temple with superb infrastructure. There are so many good vibrations and environments . But the maintenance is not enough because the mandabam around the temple are not clean well.

Nice to visit here. Felt peace here. Beautiful program was going. Classical dance programs were organised here. Everything is fine. Under-construction work is going on. Its a big campus. Green environment. Very good place for walking and running. Inside police recruitment school is there. Enjoy time in park. Little cleaning work is required in campus. People throw plastic waste in park. It should be avoided to maintain the park. Park development work is also going on. Love to visit here.

Actually, I haven't any plan to go there. Once afternoon I just walking across the road and saw that a long green playground. In the meantime, I found entrance gate to viewing the whole place and getting entered for visiting the place. Walking by walking I got a big pyramid type sculpture so I was surprised to see the place. Most interesting point is when I entered the place and then discovered that it was a Temple. Before visiting the inner place I didn't know even what is the building about that. The entire place was neat and clean as well as the tree was gigantic and too old. Front place was so attractive and greenery views which I liked too much.

About 400 years old, the temple is good. This is located inside the Fort area. However you must plan to visit in the morning or evening hours during the sunny days. Otherwise you will end up facing the heat. Temples, Museum and the Fort visits can be clubbed together.

This temple is just like many temples in South India which purely reflects the Dravidian Architecture. The Vimana type of entrance (Gopuram) is bigger enough. The locality also matters for this temple. Close to the temple is the vellore fort. If you are planning for a trip here dedicate half an hour to this temple and thats enough. If somebody does have the habit of meditating, then you can be really comfortable here. Even during the noon, it wl be cooler inside this temple structure as its completely made up of rocks. Forget not, to watch the encravings on the walls and the fishes in the pond.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Jaliandeshwar Temple located within the historical Vellore Fort, and the experience was truly captivating. This ancient temple, with its intricate architecture and rich history, left a lasting impression on me. The Jaliandeshwar Temple is a stunning example of Dravidian architecture, characterized by its intricate carvings and ornate design. As I entered the temple complex, I was immediately struck by the impressive gopuram (gateway tower) that greeted me. The temple's exterior is adorned with beautifully carved sculptures and figures that tell stories of Hindu mythology. What makes this temple truly unique is the presence of a massive, monolithic lingam, a representation of Lord Shiva, which is one of the largest in India. The sheer size of the lingam is awe-inspiring and adds to the spiritual ambiance of the temple. Inside the temple, I was immersed in a sense of serenity and devotion. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the intricate artwork on the pillars and ceilings showcased the craftsmanship of the artisans of the past. What sets the Jaliandeshwar Temple apart is the fact that it is situated within the Vellore Fort, a historical fortress with a rich past. Exploring the fort itself was a fascinating experience, and the temple was a jewel within this historic complex. Overall, the Jaliandeshwar Temple in Vellore Fort is a must-visit for travelers interested in history, culture, and spirituality. Its architectural beauty and the serene atmosphere make it a truly remarkable destination for anyone exploring the region. Whether you're a devotee or a history enthusiast, this temple offers a unique and enriching experience that should not be missed.

Jalakandeswarar Temple is located in the city of Vellore, precisely within Vellore Fort. It is a Hindu place of worship in honour of Lord Shiva, who also goes by the name of Lord Jalakandeswarar. The temple is a magnificent representation of grand Vijayanagaram Architecture. Besides, one may also observe detailed sculptures dedicated to other Hindu deities such as Lord Vishnu, Goddess Mahalakshmi, Goddess Parvati, Lord Brahma, and Goddess Saraswathi. The Jalakandeswarar Temple is a highly regarded landmark highlighting the architectural skill of ancient times, while showcasing the significance of special traditions upheld by the Hindu community, which invoke feelings of peace and a connection to the divine. A visit to this site is a delight for devotees, historians, and those who appreciate authentic art.

Vellore Fort, Tamil Nadu

Fortress
Sights & Landmarks
The Vellore Fort, established during the 16th century, was once the stronghold of the Aravidu Dynasty. Encircled by water bodies and fortified walls, this over four-century-old fortress houses various government offices along with a mosque and a famous Jalagandeeswara temple within its premises. Additionally, an archaeological museum is present in the fort which closes by 5 pm.
The fort is looking good and is very spacious , surrounded by water bodies , over 4 centuries old . There are many government offices inside the fort , there is an archaeological museum which closes by 5 pm and hence we could not visit , We visited the famous Jalagandeeswara temple inside the fort which is good . There is also a mosque inside the fort . This could have been very easily developed into a huge tourist attraction , but the government seem to have not thought in those lines . Maintenance is not very good...

The charch and the temple inside the fort are well maintained and nice to see. Sultan's houses are not open for visitors. these historical establishments should be well reserved, maintained and open for visitors. some other places around the mosque are not well reserved and maintained. It's a good place to visit when the weather is good. The place is a stress buster. Outside the fort there is a small park which closes at 6 and the whole fort including the temple closes at 8. Google timing is wrong. You can also climb one of the fort walls but it closes at 5 pm. Everything is free not tickets required.

If you're looking for a historical site to visit, you might want to skip the fort. It's pretty old and run-down, and there's not much to see there. The temple, on the other hand, is a nice attraction. It has some beautiful architecture and a peaceful atmosphere. You can spend some time there and enjoy the view. Museum will be closed on Government holidays & Sunday.

Best sightseeing is wall & moats (water surrounded next to the wall) and another one is temple. Temple is good, well maintained. Currently police occupied this fort, kind of police parade ground and quarters. Museum is closed when I visited here, so no words on that. We need minimum two hours to spend here. To management: If moats is maintained with fresh water that will be good to see. And also, if big colour fishes are in moats people can excite. Please see foreign countries, how they are maintaining there. Our country is best ever if we maintained properly, thank you

The place is closed for public right now. I visited the place on February 16 2022 and the place was closed due to covid they said. But all public are visiting the place by climbing in and jumping into a secret entrance. The place was very good. You have to walk a lot to explore the place. It has a rich ancient arcitecture. The fort is surrounded by water all sides. No use in keeping the place closed when this much of people can climb and get in to the fort.

Old fort in the heart of the city. No charge to enter the fort. There are 2 main places of attraction inside. A typical South Indian style temple and a government museum. As we went on Friday the museum was closed so no idea about it. The temple is beautiful and was relatively crowdless. It stays open from 6.00am till 1 pm. And from 3 to 8.30pm. So plan accordingly. I suggest you visit this place during the evening to enjoy the calmness. Nothing much to do actually but still I found it a decent visit

Fort is worth seeing due to many sights inside & outside its walls. Easily reachable due to its closeness to CMC Main Hospital & Old Bus Stand. Outside the walls, there is a moat. Vellore fort park is there too. Inside the walls, there is a beautiful and busy temple. When one walks more, one can see an old silent church, a mosque that remains closed, a nice museum to explore and a few banyan trees with very huge trunks and aerial roots. Lots of people can be seen in and around the fort, spending time leisurely. Sitting in the shades of the trees of Vellore Fort Park outside the walls, can be a really nice experience. As such no unclean things there, but even today (Feb 2022) people threw plastic bottles in the moat water. That was a painful sight to bear. Must visit place for anyone.

Fort design is just okay not much attractive like I have experienced others. The wall compound of this fort is covered 3 kilometres in the square shape and from outside the big creek made for self defence(Not easy to win the fort) and also rain water storage system. To explore the fort is free of cost but inside there is a Government museum and a beautiful temple inside which will sizzle you by its architecture.

Very nice place with a great historical essence. There is also a very beautiful temple. We have visited this place in the month of July. Short history: The Fort was built by the ruler Bommu Nayakar and his brother during 1526-1595 AD. The First Mutiny against the British in India broke out in Vellore Fort (1806 – Sippoy Kalagam). The fort was taken by the British in 1760 and used as a military garrison. The fort contains both secular and religious structures.

This place is especially for people who find peace at temples. There is a Lord Shiva temple here with a colossal "shikaram/gopouram" & a beautifully carved "mandapam". Apart from this, there is a small pond and ancient fort wall structures.

Nice place. Amazing atmosphere. My mind & soul heals quickly after a single visit. They also gave Prasad which was very tasty. I like the sculpture & architecture of the temple. People must visit there , spend some time in the evening time to experience an immense peace.

Vellore Fort may lack historical charm, but its Jalakandeswarar temple steals the spotlight with its stunning architecture and tranquil ambiance. Open throughout the day, it offers a serene retreat from city life. Although the museum inside may have limited exhibits, the temple's beauty makes up for it. Surrounded by lush greenery and a scenic backdrop, the fort's atmosphere is inviting for a peaceful stroll. Overall, while the fort itself may not impress, the temple within makes it a worthwhile visit for spiritual and architectural delights.
Shin Chan — Google review
Good fort. Not much to see except the front facade. There is temple inside which is a must visit for anyone going there. There is a small museum inside which has some decent collection of artifacts.
vivek S — Google review
Although the name is Vellore Fort, but you will not find things pertaining to Fort except the boundary walls. However the campus is beautiful with a divine Shiva temple, lush green fields with mountain backdrop and ofcourse the water stream around. You can spend good 1.5~2 hours over here. Best part is of course the temple with well carved artifacts.

Ratnagiri Arulmigu Murugan Temple is a 14th-century Hindu temple located on a hill accessible by road. The temple has a colorful facade and features numerous sculptures on its walls, typical of southern India temples. Visitors can reach the temple by paying 50 rupees for any vehicle. There is an entry fee of 10 rupees to access the room of the main idol.
Very Clean, Well Maintained and Peaceful Place Beside Chennai Highway. It is Situated on the Little Mountain. Must Visit with Family to get Refreshed and Blessed.

The temple is neat & Clean and maintenance is good. They build a road with few hairpin bends to reach the mountain top of the temple. This way is recommended for elders and kids. A good divine place to spend time with the family and young kids.

Nice surrounding. Lots of sculptures on wall, like typical southern India temples. Location is good. You can reach near the temple through any vehicle paying 50 rupees. Entry fee to the room of main idol is 10 rupees. Only thing is, ticketing system could have taken outside to avoid unnecessary creation of gathering.

One of the best maintained temple developed by Balamurugan Admai his 50 years of dedicated service to Lord Murugan has turned a small temple similar to that of Aurupadai Vedu. A must visit place in Vellore. Balamurugan Admai has touched more than millions of people to reach their goals.
Dr.Damodharan Varadarajan — Google review
The Vellore Arulmigu Ratnagiri Balamurugan Temple is a remarkable place of worship dedicated to the Hindu god Murugan (Kartikeya) in Thirumanikundram, Vellore, India. With its origins dating back to the 14th century, this temple holds great historical and cultural significance. It was even mentioned by the renowned poet Arunagirinathar in his literary works. Situated atop a hill, the temple's location perfectly aligns with ancient Hindu beliefs that associate hills with the presence of Murugan. The serene and scenic surroundings add to the spiritual experience of the devotees who visit. The primary attraction of the temple is the Murugan idol in the shrine, which is believed to be a divine manifestation of the deity. Additionally, the temple is associated with Swami Balamurugan Adimai, a revered guru who is considered to be another form of the deity. To reach the temple, one can either take the road from Vellore to Chennai, which is about 12 kilometres long, or opt for the adventurous climb of 300 steps. While the steps may be a bit steep for elderly visitors, they are sheltered and provide a comfortable ascent. Alternatively, vehicles can also access the top of the hill via a road. Interestingly, on the way to the temple, about 2 kilometres prior, there is a small mosque that serves as a remnant of a person who was a devoted follower of Muruga. This interfaith connection adds to the inclusivity and diversity of the area. Overall, the Vellore Arulmigu Ratnagiri Balamurugan Temple offers a fulfilling and spiritually enriching experience. Its historical significance, breath-taking location, and the devotion of its devotees make it a must-visit destination for those seeking a deeper connection with Hindu spirituality and culture.

Amazing temple for lord Murugan/Karthikeya on a small hillock. Easily accessible by road by car and bus from Vellore and arcot. Temple built by balaguru awamigal. Dates back to 1968. Hexagonal temple pool is new addition and wonderful to see from top.

Sri Margabandeeswarar Temple is a historical Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on a hill. The temple is renowned for its holy well that is believed to bless childless couples with children if they bathe in it and sleep in the temple premises after praying to Lord Shiva. The temple has over 500 steps leading up to it, with one steep path and another more accessible route suitable for older people.
One of the oldest temple in south india. Beautifully built. Idols inside are so much pleasure to eyes. It was a pleasing experience. Main diety is Lord Shiva.
Pradeep Bose — Google review
Nice temple for Lord Shiva. Those who are married and doesn't have child for years are coming to this temple. There is a holy well inside the temple .The couple longing for child should take bath with the water from that holy well, pray Lord Shiva and should sleep in the temple premises. It is said that the couple will get a dream and if they remember that , they will be blessed with a child.

Very large Shiva temple, very peaceful and serene, less crowd, pure bliss, spend time in this temple in the evenings or mornings, three storey height huge compound walls on all sides, front and back gopurams are big. Lot of small temples are inside. Beautiful corridors all round, don't miss this temple, must visit, it's 14 km away from Vellore.
Anil Cherukuri — Google review
This is an historical temple. Lord Shiva is on the hill. Its surprising. Temple is maintained well. We can feel good vibes inside the temple. There are more than 500 steps to climb the hill. There are two ways. One ways is very much steep . Other way can be used for elders people. But not advisable for elderly challenge people.

I visited this old shiva temple while returning from Arunachalam to Tirupati on 10.11.2022. Most of the cab drivers are not aware of this temple, which is just 12 km from Vellore. That is why we do not see many pilgrims visiting this temple. But its a very old temple worth visiting once

It's an ancient Hindu temple located near Vellore, in Virinjipuram, is renowned for its powerful deities Margabandeeswarar (Shiva) and Maragathammal (Parvati). It is a peaceful place, providing an ideal environment for spritual seekers who want to meditate and introspect. Despite efforts to maintain its tranquility, the ambience and aesthetic beauty of the temple suffer due to the thoughtless actions is done devotees. It is disheartening to witness these individuals defacing the temple walls with their names and symbols, disrupting the sacred atmosphere.

Shri Margabandeeswarar (Arulmigu Vazhithunainathar) temple is about 14 kms from Vellore (northside of Bangalore highway) Ancient and very revered Shiva sthalam. Seperate sannidhi for Sri Maragathambal Amman. Lord here is dear to devotees praying for marriage and child. Huge granite walls surrounding the inner and outer pragarams. If you are driving, there are misleading road signs to temple as you enter Virinjipuram. Follow only the main road.

One of the divine full place to cherish Lord Shiva, the pond is believed to be so spiritual and can be accessed with a price of 200+ depends on the day you visit. Better to visit during early mornings to avoid crowd. Parking facility is good

A beautiful temple with a very tall Shivalingam . The front pillared pavilion has many interesting sculptures . The Devi is called Maragathambikai. The temple has a good collection of bronze utsava murthis . There is a huge and colorful Lion Well or Singa kinaru in the outer prakaram . The town is very close to Vellore and can be seen from the Bangalore -Vellore Highway .

Very ancient temple. But I feel very bad that it has no proper maintenance. Even cleaning work is not done . Some people has tied their cattle around the compound wall. They don't know the real value of the temple. It is easier to destroy. But cannot regain once lost.

A huge Padal Petra Sthalam in Virinchipuram with a lot of history of more than 1000 years old. Many married women come here to pray for early motherhood. The entire temple is very clean and very well maintained. The Pujari was very helpful with the history of the temple. A Time Stone stands in the complex.

There is a belief that if people come and take a bath in the 3 therthams they will get a child. There is one more story, we all know lord shiva cursed lord Brahma, because Brahma told a lie to Shiva I have seen your head. Because of the curse lord Brahma born as humankind in his next gen worshipped lord shiva in this temple and relieved from that curse.

The Vellore Kitchen is a family-focused diner in Vellore with high ceilings and big windows. The restaurant serves Indian and Asian dishes, and its vegan options are Vegetarian Friendly. The food is okay but the flavors are great, pieces are very soft but still something is missing.
Lunch time is peak time here. The menu is quite exhaustive. However the most popular item is their South Indian thali. Nice hygenic place with smiling waiters. In peak lunch time there could be waiting period of 30 minutes.
Vikas Singh — Google review
This is a good place for non-veg. You get non-veg breakfast starting at right 6:30 in the morning, which is awesome. Went here for lunch and must say the food was good. Ordered Mutton Biryani and Mutton Chops. The biryani was good with great quantity however Mutton Chops was less quantity, but taste was good. One of my veg friend has Verg Biryani and Panner sides, it was good too. Highly recommended this place. Cost is also very affordable.
Raghunath Singh — Google review
Food wise it's good. The Non veg platter is the best here. But it lacks spirit of hospitality. You cannot plan to spend a quality time here. The staff expects the people to come, order fast, eat fast and leave the table as soon as possible. That doesn't define a fine dining. You cannot be at ease and enjoy your time. Rather the culture is more of a local casual dining. Ambience wise there nothing creative. Everything is plane. Dishes sometimes lack a proper presentation. Four star is just for the quality of food. Or it would have been a three star rating.

The food here was very tasty. But the climate inside the restaurant was very hot. I ordered parota which costs 55 rupees it was very tasty and veg fried rice was awesome with some decent ghee. curd rice was also gud with fruits. Orange juice was very tasty and thick quantity. Mutton chukka quantity was very very very less. Please increase the quantity of mutton chukka according to the price. Price was 350. Every item was tasty.

A great place for dinings with friends and family. Best option for non veg lovers . Ambience is good and prompt service from staff. It’s located at bypass of Highway from Chennai to Bangalore or visiting Vellore / Golden temple . Parking is decent and have waiting area as it gets rush over weekends. Veg and Chicken biriyani (taste was decent ) , Chicken Lollipop was dry (no sauce ) and panner tikka was decent. Chicken 65 (boneless) , chicken bharta , bun Parotha and lacha paratha was good.

It is a good place to take a break in Vellore on the way to Bangalore from Chennai, and it is situated along the Highway Service Road. Generally, it is a very busy place so you should plan on waiting for 5-10 minutes after you arrive. It is easy to park because there are a lot of spaces available. I really like the atmosphere here, the music is soothing, and the ambiance is great. One of my favorite dishes is the one served on banana leaves. The food was good, the service was okay, not too much of a wait time. we really liked the rice and the curries were exceptionally great. I would recommend taking a break from a long drive.

This is my 2nd visit in last 2 years, they were better before, no complaints with their service, breakfast dishes tasted avg (poori with kothu kari, appam with mutton curry, bun parotta, brain roast, etc) Paya is still good and must try. Mutton nalli roast was below avg. Not sure if it was due to the week days, but everything tasted very avg. Time to improve the quality.

Well known in Vellore for its mouth watering and delicious food, By far the best restaurant in Vellore for mutton dishes in terms of taste. Tried the hot and sour chicken soup, tandoori prawns, Madurai Kari kuzhambu (special Madurai style mutton gravy) and bun parotta. Evey dish was spot on in terms of flavour. The combo of piping hot bun parotta and Madurai mutton gravy ended the meal on a high note 😋😌. Wanted to try dessert, unfortunately they were out 😕. Will surely be back to try more next time.

It was a very good experience having dinner with the classic bun Paratha and chicken curry. The biryani is highly praised, but I discovered that this is best ordered at lunch. The lower portion of the restaurant serves your meal on banana leaves, and the first floor fine dining on crockery, but the quality of the food remains the same. Good place to savour Arcot and Chettinad cuisine. Very polite, prompt and good service.

A perfect place to hang out with your family for lunch and dinner. This restaurant is from a renovated old bungalow. The ambience is so calm and family friendly. If you need to try good foreign food especially continental and East Asian, then this place is a must visit. Ample parking facility for two wheelers and four wheelers. Beautiful small lawn on the outside. Security is available. The service staff greet you when you enter and they are polite and responsive. The price is moderate. The place is seems old house converted into heritage restaurant. Each Rooms have 2/3 tables . Seating arrangements are more for family setting.. Menu (new) is very attractive & special dishes are depicted with real pics … The cuisine names are attractive as the food is . The taste was awesome (Kababs melted as it does in Lucknow) . All what we ordered was suggested by Mr Kabali & Mr Vedam & we didn’t regret.. Lot of cuisine to be tasted (next time visit is pending & will visit) . Some chilled beer would add some relaxation but they don’t serve even aerated drinks. But only fresh juice… Try once as recommended 👍👍

Amazing place like always. They have recently introduced this "Metre Kabab". It's literally a metre long and u cant eat it on the table for 2. It will easily fill 4 people. Despite being more expensive than neighboring fine dining establishments, the exceptional quality justifies giving it a chance. A wonderful place to experience fine dining at its best. Ambience is top notch. Staff are prompt and polite. They have and extensive menu with wide range of dishes. Tried the cream of chicken soup, prawn kunafa, mutton Biryani, mango flan and matka phirni. The prawn kunafa was definitely the standout dish. An absolute must try!! During my visit to the distinguished Hundred Heritage Hotel in Vellore, I was fortunate enough to experience a culinary journey featuring their renowned Khunafa Prawn and Irani Kebab. The presentation of the Khunafa Prawn left a lasting impression. The outer layer of these delectable shrimps exuded a delightful crispiness, creating a satisfying contrast with the succulent interior. What truly set this dish apart was the impeccable balance of flavors and seasonings, which culminated in a delightful taste sensation. The Khunafa Prawn found their perfect companion in a Szechuan sauce, creating a harmonious and memorable pairing. On the other hand, the Iranian Kebab, while enjoyable, fell just short of meeting the high expectations I had. It was good but lacked that extra something to make it truly exceptional. Lastly, the mango flan offered a pleasing taste experience, although there was room for improvement. The potential for this dessert to become even more delightful with some refinement was evident. The sweet corn soup was excessively thick, resembling pudding. It requires improvement in consistency. Overall, my visit to the Hundred Heritage Hotel was a culinary adventure filled with highs and minor lows, showcasing their dedication to crafting memorable dishes, with some areas offering the promise of further enhancement.

Cost is also very less when compared to the taste of the food items 🍲 They do have sweet items at the front and UPI/Card payment are accepted 👍🏻 Parking is available at the front and they do have an AC Dining facility. Worth trying for their taste 😋

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant of Hotel Aryaas in Vellore and was thoroughly impressed with the culinary experience. The restaurant at Hotel Aryaas surpassed my expectations, offering not only a comfortable dining environment but also serving some truly delightful food. The vada and puri at Hotel Aryaas deserve special mention as they were absolutely delicious. The vada had a perfect balance of crispiness on the outside and a soft, flavorful center. The puri was light, fluffy, and served piping hot. The flavors of both dishes were authentic and mouthwatering, showcasing the expertise of the chefs in creating these traditional Indian breakfast items. In summary, my experience at the restaurant of Hotel Aryaas in Vellore was outstanding. The vada and puri were undoubtedly the highlights, delivering a burst of authentic flavors. The attentive staff, delectable dishes, and inviting ambiance made it a dining experience to remember. I highly recommend visiting the restaurant at Hotel Aryaas for those seeking a delightful culinary journey.

Food was average, services were good, best thing they can communicate in Hindi so language is not constraint here. Staff was cooperative. They serve good food, even they arrange without onion garlic food too. Due to weekend rush was high. Average but good experience.

You will find this hotel is at vellore circle. Food taste is average. Do not order masala Dosa since it's not the masala Dosa you get in Karnataka, it's just plain Dosa with potato. Service is ok. The toilet is outside, and it's smelly not clean as you will find in most hotels in India.

One of the good veg hotel at Vellore. Food is tasty and not very spicy. Parking space is available nearby. Good crowd can be seen during lunch hours.

Located on the 3rd floor of Kanna Fiesta, this eatery offers both veg and non-veg items. Tried the mix non-veg fried rice, fish fingers and pepper chicken. Fish fingers was delicious. Pepper chicken was decent. The mix non-veg fried rice was a letdown - the mutton pieces in the dish was not properly cooked. Staff were polite, however seemed inexperienced. Ambience is great. The wash room is outside of the dining hall, may cause an inconvenience to some. All in all - a mixed experience.

Food is decent Biriyani is must try Nenjellumbu soul is awesome. Service is very very slow. Few girls from Orissa, good in receiving but takes a hell lot of time. Waiting for 15 minutes for one mojito after completing the main course with only 2 families eating Wondering how they will handle when hotel is full. Bit costly.
