Packed with over 100 classic pinball and arcade machines from the 1930s onwards, "Pinball Station" is a nostalgic haven for all retro-gamers. With restored and playable games, Pavel is passionate about keeping the museum running for generations to come. Plus, excellent local beers make it an ideal spot for a night out with friends!
Yesss, nostalgic memories of my past, this was great! I spent hours playing on the old pinnball machines especially the one with the small cars on the side which needed to go up. And the Indiana Jones...fantastic. Frogger hilarious and indeed addicted again like in the old days. The guys who set this up thank you for bringing me back to that wonderful time in the past I love this initiative and really hope these machines will play forever. I will certainly come back to play again.

Overall, it is a fun place to spend some time in. The more friends/colleagues you bring with you, the more fun it will be. The only downside for me is that there is not enough comfortable sitting places and would like to have food available to get. One thing to note is that the price 40 PLN is fairly good for what becomes available to you (as long as you enjoy them).
Mateusz ?Mattaj? Minicz — Google review
This arcade entirely dedicated to old-school pinball machines is very beautiful. There are lots of them restored and working: you can play with them! That's why it's called an interactive museum. It is located inside a container near the railway with a dirty parking lot in front, only from the lights you can understand where it is. Never judge a book by its cover. Drop by, great for filling up a rainy day.
The Frameshifter — Google review
Hidden gem of Warsaw. Very nice place to have a “stranger things” vibe. You can buy beer here too for a reasonal price! You should plan to be here for 2 hours, as there is HUGE collection of video game machines.
Arminas Grigonis — Google review
Fun place, lots of different old pinball machines and arcade games. They even have classics like Donkey Kong, Space Invaders or Tekken. Retro nerds could probably spend there hours or days... for me it was fun interaction with real life pinball, but not something to visit more than once.
Bakashi — Google review
Huge amount of Pinball and Arcade games. I especially liked Addams family which was perfectly setup. The best individ i played yet. This place is highly recommended!
Per F?ltman — Google review
An absolute gem of a museum/attraction. The retro style games were so much fun. It was amazing value for money and there's no time limit on your stay. This is fun for all the family or for a group of friends. Everyone should visit! The staff are AMAZING, so helpful and friendly. They ordered me a taxi as I was travelling alone with my daughter.
Tanith O Brie — Google review
Very fun trip to play as much pinball and arcade games as you want, from very old pinball games to the new interactive versions. Pay once at the door and unlimited play on all games for the day. Lots of choice of arcade games too - street fighter, super mario, donkey kong, time crisis, pong, racing games and WWE
Giorgio Morelli — Google review
It was a really nice time spent playing pinball. We stayed there for 3 hours and had a lot of fun! After arrival you will pay a ticket and then you can play pinball on all of machines. Also you can find some beer etc. on the bar. Recommend it a lot!!!
Dominika Vrecková — Google review
Great place to play pinball and vintage arcade games. The place is run by Pavel who is passionate about pinball. He is very welcoming. The entry ticket allows you to play all the machines in an unlimited way. Very good local beers!

Fun and cool place. Has plenty of pinball and retro arcade machine. You just pay one time fee and play for the whole day. Great place to just chill and relax with your families
Iqbal Satrio Nindito — Google review
Amazing place. Lots of pinball machines and a good mix of classic arcade games to go with it. Price to enter was very fair considering it provides unlimited plays for unlimited time (for that day). Had a small bar area to be able to buy drinks if you get thirsty. You can really tell they care about the machines they own; We saw staff working on maintenance and repairs for at least 2 units while we were there for about 3 hours. Some very unique machines there too, including some very old units. Overall was very impressed with the whole experience! If I had one nitpick, the Sega Rally Championship machine is looking a little tired and could use with some new CRTs or retrofitted displays and controls, but I can understand it being difficult to get parts so I don't fault them for it.
Luna — Google review
Great time spent there, we had a lot of fun. It’s a little bit hot inside but at the entrance there’s a bar so it’s not a big problem. Recommend to visit for a fun time.
Suzana Ana — Google review
Great to spent some time in it. A lot of arcade to play with. It is hot inside but you have bar to order some drinks. It would be better if all machines had some label on it about build date and pcs build information.
Nejc Laharnar — Google review
Really nice arcade with option to buy drinks and few snack options. There is option to pay in cash or by card. Pay entrance fee and play as long as you want. It's Perfect! Arcade ir big and will entartain for at least 4 hours. There ir place to sit and take a breather. As well really clean and tidy. Staff is friendly as well and atmosphere is chill. Really fun place!

Very interesting place! I really enjoyed the variety of pinballs machines and for the first time in my life play mortal combat on the automat! Good place to spend the evening. But there is a huge problem with the ventilation. It's hard to breathe on the second floor. Please make something with it🥲
Liza N — Google review
One of the coolest spots in Warsaw for some alternative fun! I highly recommend coming here. Amazing prices and some awesome old machines. Much better than an arcade as you pay for entry and can play all day until they close without any limits. The staff are friendly. The place is pretty quite during the week but really good if you don't wanna wait for any machines. If you want a vibe head there on the weekend though it gets pretty busy.
Brandan Pincini — Google review
A place where you can enjoy playing pinball and have some beers. For 49 PLN you get to enjoy pinball, some retro shooting game(house the dead, time crisis, virtua cop). A couple of racing related machine and there's PS one on the counter. Definitely a place to go with friends and family that would like to enjoy unlimited pinball games within the day. The staff are nice and friendly. Highly Recommended! Polecam!
CK Mariano (CK) — Google review
Cute place tucked away in a quiet corner of Warsaw. Owner is kind and you can play as much as you want after paying the entrance fee. Beautifully restored machines of varying levels of fairness lol. There are also some old arcade games which are also fun and the cabinets look great.
Shlant — Google review
Very nice experience! We visited in the evening over weekday and the place was not crowded. They offer vast selection of retro gaming machines with majority of flippers and some video game shooters and racers. Machines are in overall very well maintained and, with some minor exceptions, in good condition. The entry price is a bit on the high side, but they do discounts for kids. Very much recommended!

Łazienki Park is one of the most beautiful places in Warsaw and is a popular tourist destination with a range of attractions including palace, gardens, amphitheatre and various follies. The park is well-maintained and peaceful and is perfect for a relaxing day out.
Beautiful park in the center of Warsaw, I advise all tourists to visit. Admission to the park is free, there are also museums on site, which can be accessed for a fee. The territory of the park is very large and spacious, you can take beautiful photos and just relax in nature. Peacocks also live in the park and there are many squirrels. Incredible place! 😍😍😍

It was the most remarkable they that I spent in Warsaw. I love this place so much. You can observe some animals here. Also, you can walk around the park and experience being so close to nature. Giant trees, a great walking path, and clean air will take all that stress you have, trust me.

Lazienki Park in Warsaw is like a quiet, beautiful garden in the middle of the city. It's full of pretty plants, big old buildings, and calm ponds. You can walk around, see historical places like the Palace on the Water, and enjoy the Chopin Monument and you will have a lot of birds , chirping sounds make it even more beautiful. It's a great place to relax and learn about history if you visit Warsaw. Toilet signs are not well placed, you have run around to realize it's within the hunting museum.
Praveen Banavar — Google review
Great and impressive park with rich history and nice nature around. You can find several buildings as parts of royal residence and even peacocks in any season! It's better to spend at least 2 hours in this park to discover main places.
Alesia G — Google review
It is such a beautiful place with greenery. There is a very nice cafe with coffee, ice cream and all kinds of beverage. There are peacocks and squirrels around, which makes you feel connected with the nature You should definitely visit this place, especially in summer!
Cemal Can Ozmumcu — Google review
Nice place. It has different sculptures: par example, Greek. Famous female sculptor from Athens came here to create something called “center of the world”. Furthermore, You can observe ducks and pigeons happily exploring the vast fields of grass. Ducks like to swim and approach people. Łazienki-Park is big. Even though it is famous and popular, You can always find a cozy place to rest and calm Your soul.

Łazienki Królewskie, nestled in Warsaw, is an enchanting haven. Its verdant gardens, tranquil lakes, and exquisite architecture exude regal charm. Steeped in history, this serene escape is an unmissable destination. Truly worth seeing There isn’t much parking but it’s easy to sort out

I love it here! Nice place for evening strolls! The plants, birds, and buildings were well-reserved! There were also free toilets and people who sold coffee, snacks, and sugar canes right outside of the park! They also have peacocks here!

Lovely large park with plenty of interesting features, a lake, museum and plenty of signage. Lots of places to walk and plenty of benches to sit. All kept very clean, this feels a safe and secure area to visit. Seems popular with families and runners.

A beautiful park with a lot to see and enjoy. Very popular but it is large enough to find quiet spaces. (Lots of red squirrels, beware they are very used to being fed so will run up your leg if you stand still looking at them!)
HANNAH LILLEY — Google review
Pretty park. It was a king park and it’s a public park now. There is the palace and I expected to see it more magnificent)) But all picture of the palace with the lake is beautiful. And there is very colourful, unusual duck. I’ve never seen one before.

One of the many beautiful parks in Warsaw! This one is one of the nicest, with a palace in the middle. Nice place to walk around and enjoy the silence of the park.

Beautiful place every time of the year! One of the best parks I’ve ever visited. Last time in under 10 minutes we saw many squirrels, hedgehog, peacocks and fed a swallow from the hand. Just beautiful!

One of the best parks that I've ever visited, plenty of space and a walking area. You can meet fazanus and squirrels there. Recommended for at least a couple of hours visit.
Julius Zemgulys — Google review
Came here on our trip to Warsaw for a bit of time away from the city. Was a fair walk from the centre but worth it for this peaceful atmosphere. I can imagine it’s beautiful in the summer but we still enjoyed it on a grey winters day. The highlight was seeing the peacocks and red squirrels, but this park is a beautiful place to visit to relax for an hour or so.
Liana Phillips — Google review
I was there during the summer and it was beautiful, a lot to see around , relax , breath the air and walk around. You can find some hidden spots to sit surrounded by the trees and nature . Recommend for anyone visiting Warsaw to spend a day here in nature and explore the history. However dogs are not allowed in the park. Heads-up for dog owners . Warsaw is generally dog friendly. A family day out here would be lovely. It’s kids friendly. The map is helpful so lay your hands on one of you can .

The Royal Łazienki (the Royal Baths) was one of those places in Warsaw that enchanted me completely! I am a total fan of greenery, and here in the very center of the city there is a huge, vast area drowning in greenery with charming paths, monuments, squirrels and walking peacocks. Contact with nature, peace, quiet, the opportunity to watch jumping squirrels, all surrounded by 18th century architecture. Everything was amazing there.

Muzeum Domków is a hidden gem located near Warsaw's bustling Old Town, featuring over 150 exquisitely furnished historic dolls' houses, shops, and rooms. The museum also boasts a sacred toy collection. It offers a fascinating journey through the history of children's entertainment with meticulously crafted miniatures that showcase different cultures and time periods. Visitors can expect detailed exhibitions accompanied by insightful information about each house.
This is such a cool museum. We did not plan to visit, just accidentally found it. Fantastic doll houses from all around the world, really interesting. Definitely not for kids only, we had the best time!

This is a historical doll house museum. No modern Barbie houses. We spent an hour to make two rounds across and take a carefully look on each exhibit. The are some very special doll houses. Highly recommended for kids 5+

Nice place. My daughter loved it. Many kinds/materials/subjects of doll houses were there. But it was quite smaller than my expectation.. The price was little bit expensive. I had only 20 minutes in there.

The museum is very interesting. However, I'd like to emphasise that the person working at the ticket office is extremely nice. +2 stars only for the good customer service. 👏
Armela Tusha — Google review
Simply magic! The main exhibition displays many dollhouses from all over the world (such as China, Thailand, and Latin America). The museum has a second branch, located only a few meters away from the main one. There, I found an exhibition of toys from the Soviet era. Every item is accompanied by a detailed caption, both in Polish and English. The staff is super kind and helpful. Being a student, I also got a discount on the ticket (paid 25 zloty).

Another random find. It was interesting to see the different doll houses from many countries and they had a dollhouse for everything

This hidden gem (and it actually is wonderfully hidden away, while being a road away from Warsaw's thriving hotspot The Old Town), is fabulous! If you love miniatures, have an interest in history and products/cultures around the world, or an appreciation of meticulous craftsmanship and design, you will love this little place. There are dozen of exquisite dollhouses from various decades: most houses have their tiny little lights on, filled with gorgeously sculpted furniture, bringing to life these miniature abodes. There are also shops/hospitals/artist workshops and salons, giving a fantastic variety of rooms. As part of the Museum, the ticket includes access to a tiny little Museum across the road, showcasing Polish toys from the era of Polish People's Republic. Definitely worth a visit!

POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews

Mentioned on
Museum
History Museums
Specialty Museums
The POLIN Museum tells the story of the Jews in Poland from ancient times to the present day. The building is located on the site of Warsaw's former ghetto, which was home to thousands of Jews before World War II. The museum has a permanent exhibition space with multimedia displays, including reconstructed parts of historical synagogues and a Holocaust gallery.
Its permanent exposition is really thought through, every room of the exposition is original and somehow interactive. It describes history of Jewish community (mostly in Poland). But be prepared, that the exposition is really long and it can be exhausting... and then frustrating not being able to get much from the rest of the exposition. So i will definitely visit it once more when I am again in Warsaw. The temporary exposition on my visit was also wonderful (really interesting polish painter). And... also be prepared that there is safety control in the entrance.
Remi Dzian — Google review
Highly recommended. The museum tells the story of Jews since its very beginning to the present. It’s free and it’s for everyone (kids, adults, etc). I also recommend the audio guide. To walk around the exhibition may take you an hour if you have no audio guide. If you do, from 2 to 3. Once again, very clear, clean, interesting, attractive, interactive and amazing in every possible way.
Concepcion Andrade — Google review
Interesting and large exhibition. Tickets includes audio guide. It is particularly interesting if you don't know too much about history of Poland and Jews in Poland, as it does not start or even goes too much in-depth. Temporary exhibit was included in the regular ticket that we bought on the spot. The building has impressive architecture, worth seeing.
Peter Soltes — Google review
The museum is big. Look for the uprising monument outside as the entrance is close by it. Not all of the guards at the entrance can speak English, so you should ask your questions specifically to avoid misunderstanding. Before the ticket counter and after the security check, you'll get the chance to leave your bags in deposits. You need a 2 zloty coin for it. There's a cloak deposit next to the ticket counter. The museum itself was super interesting and interactive. So you would want to spend a few hours here, at least 3-4 hours. They offer you a chance to borrow a portable stool you can sit on when you feel tired. It's comfortable to navigate the museum. They have all the facilities like lift, restaurant, toilets and souvenir shop. In front of the museum there's only bus stop but without a ticket machine. Alternatively you can walk to the big street, not too far. There you can take trams and buy tickets inside the tram (using credit cards).
Deepblue Sky — Google review
What an extraordinary museum! Easily the most impressive museum I've been to. Went into such detail and provided so much information. Many interactive parts. Well organized and easy to follow. Allow yourself enough time to really have the full experience. I would personally say at least 3 hours.
Yael Paley — Google review
Had a amazing experience out there, the way the museum is constructed was amazing. All the history was well explained and the staff was also good out there. It usually takes 1-2 hours there, depending on how much museum nerd you are:)
Dev Saglani — Google review
Very interesting exposition which concentrates a little less on artefacts and a little more on telling the story of Polish Jewry and Jews in Poland. However, the museum is just huge; there is probably a little too much on early medieval and medieval Jewish history, so the average visitor (like me) arrives exhausted to the part on WW2. This is a pity.
Stefan Domonkos — Google review
Amazing museum. The interiors are amazing, a truly nicely designed museum. The exposition is very nicely done too and it's truly something everyone should be aware of. Avsoltryl worth a visit.
Iro Fokianou — Google review
Great interactive museums. Actual artifacts are few generally, but the exhibition takes you to explore thr world of Polish Jewry (1200-2010s) in a very interesting way. Take your time to discover each single part - it's quite a long path!
11loigi — Google review
This place is one of the best museums that I ever been to. So much information in a way that really got me emotional along the tour. It was the first time ever, that I found myself crying inside a museum. It doesn't matter if you're not Polish or Jewish, you have to see and know what happened in the past for a brighter future. We will always remember.
Dan Goldiner — Google review
This is a must-see attraction in Warsaw. The museum is excellent with lots of great exhibits and plenty of information to absorb. We walked the museum with the audio guide, which provided more than enough information without reading the text on the displays. The audio is location-based, so you can walk the museum at your own pace. We didn't stop (a couple of breaks for toilets/refreshments are available), and we toured the museum in approximately 90 minutes. Very informative and enjoyable, I highly recommend.
Henry Spurgeon — Google review
This museum vividly shows the various periods of Jewish history throughout the world, from a proud nation to a tragic fate. It would take at least three hours for a visit. I recommend renting an audio guide to listen their stories and gain a deeper understanding of Jewish culture and society. I learned so much.
?? — Google review
It was very interesting to learn about the history of the Jewish community in poland. I believe that the story of jews during WWII should be told in more details. Other than that, very nice place, the exhibitions were beautiful and very touching.
sharon tepper — Google review
Visited on a Sunday with no issue. There is security, but even with all my backpacking stuff they let me bring it in and put it in storage. I spent 5 hours here and about halfway through started skimming the reading material. Audio guide is very good. There is so much information! There was an excellent temporary exhibit as well.
Esther Malers — Google review
I was very disappointed. The museum is not so much a museum as a collection of audio visual displays. There were not many objects to see, only photos. There is so much wasted potential in this museum of the life of Jews in Poland and during the war. If you have a lot of extra time go there, otherwise go to Krakow and visit Auschwitz.
Mehran MxM — Google review
This place is amazing. I first came here about 7 years ago: they’ve since completed a whole slew of renovations and additions. It’s really a detailed multimedia epic about the history of Jews in Poland, filled with unique and effective installations. I was very impressed my photos don’t do it justice).

POLIN Museum in Warsaw is a captivating journey through the history of Polish Jews. The striking architecture, interactive exhibits, and sensitive exploration of history create a deeply moving experience. The recreated 19th-century Jewish street and the Tree of Remembrance are highlights. It's a must-visit for anyone interested in history and culture. Worth the money!

Museum focused on the Jewish life in Poland. Wonderfully organized. Everything in English as well and audio guide changing automatically based on your position. The museum tells the aspects of Jews in Poland not just for the sad situation in the WWII, but from the migration of the second millennium on.

Leila Mezze & Lounge is a popular restaurant in Warsaw, known for its top-notch hummus and falafel. Despite its unassuming exterior, the restaurant offers beautifully decorated dishes and excellent service. Situated near Morskie Oko park, it boasts a cozy ambiance with modern and Arabic influences. The portions are generous, making it ideal for those with hearty appetites. While reservations are recommended due to its popularity, guests should be mindful of additional charges for larger groups.
I would rate overall 10/10 to this spacious very organized restaurant who offers quality fresh delicious food and their staff is amazing super active n fast which is rare to see in Warsaw or poland you can say …. Great work guys keep serving the best and quick service to food lovers and an other visit is due

The food was great here, would highly recommend the Batata Harra and Shawarma Chicken. The starter platters are quite small when it comes to the quantity, but the main platters were good in portion. We also ordered falafel rolls, chicken shish tawook and grilled halloumi - everything tasted food. They also have a brief belly dancing performance after 10:30pm on Saturdays. Overall, would recommend.

The Lelia Mezze & Lounge is a really nice cozy restaurant and lounge. It has 2 levels for seating and the vibe is modern with a but of Arabic style. I recommend a online reservation for their tables, be careful they charge you additional if you are 4 persons+. The food quality is very good, we liked our drinks and food it was fresh and delicious except of one pita with seeds was a bit off but no problems. The drinks were good. You need a smartphone to scan the barcode for the menu card its available in English and Polish. Weird is this for most food offers in the branch you can't order single you need to order minimum 2 for a set of each category. Shisha is available beginning at 100 PLN a bit pricey. I recommend a visit!

The restaurant vibe is cool. Decorations looks like fancy. Also the toilet was very very clean. The service is a little bit slow but waiters have smiling face :) Prices are pretty good. Excellent place to try polish food. It's a canteen, so the food is simple but feels like traditional home cooking. The price is amazing, we got 3 vegetarian dishes and a side for £10. The kiosk screen also has an English setting. Only downside is that we were too full from the main food so we couldn't order some pancakes for dessert.

Restaurant with authentic polish food and an ambience of a bygone era. Please keep it that way!

Very good variety of food. I’m not local, but grew up with Polish cousin around, and some of the textures and tastes were a nice flash back. Made a few ordering errors due to the language barrier, but everything turned out good. Seemed to be always full with locals. Prices are great and everything is cheap.

A place that you should try when visiting Poland and learn about its culture. This restaurant is famous for its cheap and traditional. You can find Polish food, their style dishes. However, this type of restaurant system only serves daily meals and I do not appreciate the quality of the food. If you want to try traditional Polish food with a more special service, then I recommend using another service from expensive restaurants. At this restaurant, every day there will be special dishes for that day. A full serving including starter, main course and dessert costs 29.9zl. This meal set can also fill your stomach already.

Really modern and comfortable milk bar. The stuff can speak English and kind. The price is reasonable. If it’s not busy, they can prepare your meal in 10 minutes or something. The food is really tasty! Like other milk bar, you order your food and pay first. And even you don’t understand Polish, don’t worry. They have a monitor with numbers so you can see if your meal is ready. In the entrance, you can find hand sanitizer. Highly recommend!

If you want to experience traditional polish dishes this is great place to do so. We had some breakfast, and it was very tasty! They had menu in English as well, and offered some help with the choice. The only drawback is the kitchen smell - if you have a business meeting after your breakfast you will smell on fried eggs:) prices very very affordable.

You can tell this place is loved by locals. It’s crowded all the time! Food is delicious and cheap. If you visit Warsaw, mleczny bar is a must go to taste local kitchen. This place is the one you should go to.

The food was terrible, the ladies serve you like you own them something. I eat before in other "Milk bars", much nicer than this. The atmosphere was very depressing too. I do not recommend this place.

Takeout Restaurant
Fast food restaurant
Endzior is a popular takeout restaurant in central Krakow that serves up pizza breads for just 5 zloty each. The place is always packed, and it's often better to head down later on account of the long queues.
Zapiekanka na ostro - 10/10!!! Can't wait to try ALL OF THEM because it's so delicious it should be illegal.
Kseniya Kalgina — Google review
(Translated by Google) Endzior was recommended to us by a local so we gave the shop a try. Conclusion: 20 minutes in the queue until our turn (Saturday, 2:25 p.m.). Service (woman with short, blonde hair) completely annoyed. You feel like you have to apologize for ordering. We then waited a full 40 minutes(!) for our food! Zapiekanki tasty, but no better than the other stalls (yes, we tried many). Conclusion: we definitely won't go there anymore. An hour between arrival and food delivery - a complete waste of time.

The best zapekanka I've tried so far for sure. Quite rich with ingredients and pretty tasty. Be aware it is also big enough so prepare your appetite

With my love for zapiekanki I have a favorite spot in every city I visit but Endzior, hands down, serves the best zapiekanki in Poland!
Monika Arciszewska — Google review
We went there after a visit in French restaurant. To be honest we were still hungry:) and eating famous ,,zapiekanka" was very good idea. Just serving could be faster. We were waiting too long.
Paweł — Google review
The food here was lovely. If you're looking for a bite to eat whilst out and about.
Chloe Richardson-leslie — Google review
Mostly zapikanki is quite nice but the service depends on the person at the cashier. Normally there is a lady who is quite nice and she help with changing ingredients but today in the evening there was a woman who was ignoring customers and taking orders like she doesn't care at all. If you don't like your job, don't reflect to customers please, we really don't need to stand to this.
Xarybdis — Google review
Very disappointed - unfriendly service, frozen (?) baguette, long wait despite no other customers being there. We all ended up having stomach issues for a day after eating here
Daniele Pilla — Google review
The surroundings are nice, and the zapiekanka is good, but the wait can be exhausting. We've waited for over half an hour at a time without so many people. The artificial queue of people waiting for food makes a feedback loop and longer wait times. The place is ok, but not worth the wait.
Eran Oren — Google review
We chose this one impressing by the queue in front. But even while on the queue we witnessed arrogant bihavior of the employee. Then ofcourse it happaned to us. They charged wrongly and even to tell them they got wrong amount, you encounter with a ill-humored approach. Anyhow, better to try other places in the same area.
Dogan Erdogmus — Google review
The food was mediocre. The arugula was not fresh. The service was horrible, the person working was absolutely rude. I wouldn't recommend eating here.
Erika Cárdenas — Google review
A great place to enjoy the awesome Polish treat called zapiekanka - a baked open-faced sandwich also known as Polish pizza. It is super simple and delicious! The downside is that the queue is usually huge, so it takes a while.

The food we ate was good but we had to wait for it more than one hour!

Amazing food. We ordered the Firmware (?) witch is a big baguette with salama, bacon and corn covered with awesome garlic sauce. Recommended. Only thing is that is was long waiting time for our food 25+ minutes

Polish restaurant
Stary Dom is a charming eatery in Warsaw, Poland, boasting a warm and inviting atmosphere with its rustic wooden decor and lofty ceiling adorned with beams. This exclusive restaurant, known for its traditional Polish cuisine, has garnered recognition as the finest dining establishment in the city. The venue exudes a distinct ambiance that seamlessly blends history, heritage, and culinary expertise. It caters to those who appreciate an elevated take on classic Polish dishes infused with modern elements.
This was simply one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I have ever had. The interior design is very vintage and classic. The service and the food were insurmountable. The owner Mariusz provided some of the warmest, most welcoming service I have ever received. He personally took me through the 15+ desserts they get from their own bakery next door telling me the story and detail behind each one, including pavlova/ meringue and a wide variety of cakes. The dishes were quite traditional but bursting with flavour. The beef tartare is made by a chef who comes out to the table. I strongly recommend a visit here.

Very authentic polish restaurant. The portions are big and everything is so delicious. It is a bit pricey but worth it. That was the best polish meal I’ve ever had. But! They have really a big problem with the reception and cloakroom service. They are not welcoming and even rude. I felt it even on the phone when I called them to make a reservation. They did not want to talk and give additional information, they just advised to call next day to get a table. This is inappropriate for this level of restaurant. I am not sure if I am going to give it a second try, because the service is very important for me. It made me feel like I was unwanted there.

A traditional Polish restaurant. The restaurant is designed in an amazing way, the food is very tasty and varied and definitely gives a feeling of home food from the past. We were served by an exceptional waitress named Hanna, Has an exceptional sense of service, And she is truly one of a kind. Very highly recommended. ❤️

After many visits I think it's time to write an opinion! Stary Dom has almost become a tradition every time I visit Warsaw, and it often happens! I have never gone from there disappointed, possibly because I never did manage to eat myself through the dessert menu! The food is well-cooked and delicious! However, I think you have to have a taste for the traditional Polish cuisine to fully appreciate the menu. The steak tartare is clearly one of Warsaw's best! I have eaten my way through almost the whole menu, and can just say the food is lovely! The price level is on the higher scale but absolutely corresponds to what you find on the plate The venue and decor are charming and cozy! The atmosphere is a pleasant balance between solemn and everyday! I think i will continue with my visits!

Cozy restaurant in residential area of Warsaw. The name “Stary dom” (“Old house”) is hard to understand until you get inside. The restaurant is located in nothing remarkable modern building. But this is until the moment you open the door and walk into. Here you really immerse into the atmosphere of old Warsaw house of 18-19 centuries. Wooden balks structures, which have become main decorative elements, are carefully restored. Interior with soft light and heavy curtains. The cuisine is Polish with heavy hearty dishes but gourmet. Wide selection of local drinks and nice service will make your evening perfect.

Excellent restaurant in Warsaw, to try the traditional and local food. Everything is excellent, the food, the service, the place. There are 2 floors, ideally book in the groynd floor, it is nicer but, in the 1st floor is also nice, more private and noisy but a very nice experience. Service is very kind and attentive, the food taste delicious, and the atmosphere is pure Polish ambience. Totally recommended.

Absolutely delicious food! Reasonably priced, can spend 20-40 złoty per person or more than 200 złoty per person, depending on what you get or how much alcohol you consume. Beets are just like mum makes! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! The mood is good, the food is good, the price is good!

I would sat it is more exponsive than similar restaurants, but you get slightly better service and taste. Tatar is highly recommended. Probably it is the main feature of the place. Pork knuckle was also the best I've tasted in Warsaw.

Absolutely amazing , magical place. You can't missed that in your next visit to Warsaw. Service on outstanding level. Food mouthwatering. From the first step into that place I was feeling welcome. My first visit was in October, on Sunday I was only one day in Warsaw a d decided to come back there. That Tatar show. 😍 Amazing Only one down think is you can't book a table online, need to call them so for foreigners it can be challenging

The restaurant is a tribute to old world style and comfort food. The decor is beautiful and traditional while also being upscale. The food never disappoints!!!! Tried several dishes, from appetizer to dessert, and everything was tasty and wonderful. I’ve hosted a private luncheon here and the service is first class. Five stars is just not enough!!!!

Absolutely stunning. The ambience is what strikes you first. The service is very friendly. But the food is simply amazing. Each plate we ordered was delicious. Of course the price is on the high end, but it is absolutely worth it. Only thing, the desserts are more beautiful than good.

The best way to describe how to handle a misunderstanding with the reservation was to be offered 2 shots of amazing wódka with the manager of the restaurant. From that moment the supper was more than pleasant, service perfect, food great, wine as well. It was my third time here and I can only spend once again great words for this place, a milestone of food and beverage in Warsaw, so recommended if you wanna know and touch classy polish kitchen. Thank you!

this restaurant was highly recommended and we were eager to come visit. the ambiance is great and visually, the restaurant is quite stunning. we were greeted rather gruffly and scolded for not telling our greeter our reservation was made on email rather than with a call as apparently this means he had to look at a different list and he was upset with this. when we got to our table it was set up nicely and our server gave us the menus. again, we were quite excited to eat here. however, i have not experienced worse service in my life. our server was quite cold which is totally fine, but he did not check in on us once during our dining. this is of course not uncommon in european restaurants and we were not expecting the service we would typically get in the US, but the one time our waiter DID come by, he did not ask if we wanted a refill on our clearly empty drinks, and left before we could ask him for one. he was like a ghost the entire night and eventually came back to clear our dishes and tell us our reservation time was up. we were NOT aware of any such policy and this was not communicated to us at all. if our waiter (who was an older gentleman attempting to look younger with a quaffed hairstyle) had told us this beforehand we would have explained that we also wanted to order dessert and after dinner drinks. however we never got the chance to. we find it astounding to a restaurant that was so highly recommended had such horrendous service. the food was good, but not amazing. the tableside tartare everyone raves about was quite lovely, but is not made tableside - instead, it was made near but not next to us (as was the case for many diners who ordered the same from what I could tell). the other dishes we ordered (silesian dumplings, endive salad, cucumber with milk) were also good - but nothing to write home about. all in all, a not great experience that i would not recommend to others

My friend and I have visited this spectacular restaurant on Monday 22nd January and we loved absolutely everything there from the very beginning to the very end!!! The staff welcomed us warmly even though we had not booked a table with them before. Our waitress, Ania, was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional (she brought dozens of bottles of digestive selection to our table without us askibg for it even!:), she shared her extensive knowledge about the food and vodkas they serve there too!). I will be definitely going back there and can recommend this marvelous place to anyone who appreciates great quality!! Overall score: solid 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Strawberry mousse is nice. A little bit messy and massive decoration, leaves of strawberry are tired. But accuracy of crafting the dessert itself is great. Flat white is not flat white, too much foam. In general place is pleasant, must to visit for all sweet lovers. Beautiful and luxurious decoration due to Christmas. Free water is absent.

Wonderful atmosphere and professional service team. The dishes were good, but didn’t wow me. The flavour of the deer was rich and seasoned properly. But beef tartare and carpaccio disappointed me. The price was a bit high for me. And a service charge of 10% was added to the bill. But I think it was a good choice to dine here.

Forum is an old Communist hotel in which the ground floor/lobby is converted into a lively space consisting of bars, restaurants, and music venues. It has a great vibe full of young professionals. Lots of options for food and drinks. Beers were all flat, glasses were not properly cleaned. Waited 40 minutes for burgers and fries that did not taste good at all. Toilets were very dirty. Red Thai curry was served with the tales still on the shrimps, not my preference. Menu's are not in English.

This restaurant and bar has been set up in a lobby of the formerly ultramodern Forum Hotel that has been sitting empty for more than 20 years now. The place is frequented by hipsters and wannabes. There are two parts to the bar: indoor and outdoor. The furnishings within and without have a a kind of cheap, worn look, as if they were leftovers since the communist era, which they very well may be. Prices are average for Krakow. There is a selection of Polish craft beers which is a welcome change. Its interesting and earie to wander around the empty halls of the former hotel while sipping the beverage of your choice.

Place looks nice, but they were not able to prepare us food. We waited 45min, asked about food and they said to wait another 15 min, after 20 min, to wait another 5 min - at this point we canceled the order as it looked like they are just making fools of us. No sorry, nothing. Maybe they treat locals better 😔 but this was really bad experience and we had to continue our travel hungry.
