Museo Automovilístico de Málaga

Specialty Museums
The Malaga Automobile Museum is a fascinating place where you can explore a variety of classic cars, fashion and art. The museum features over 90 classic vehicles from different brands, as well as displays of couture clothing and hats. It's perfect for car enthusiasts of all genders, and is one of the most interesting museums in Malaga.
We really enjoyed the museum! I preferred the cars over the fashion but both were interesting to see. We didn’t use the audio guide but the info cards explained each thing well. I particularly enjoyed the early 1900s cars. The museum is large but you can take your time and finish in about 2 hours.

If you are looking for something different, this is it. This is a blend of rare, classic and stunning stylish cars and the fashion of the era. Many of the cars here I never heard of, companies that went bust, prototypes and early models that were designed for the rich and fabulous. Well worth a visit, the ear wand was great for 2 euro extra. No.7 bus from the center will get you here and the m110 will get you back to the holiday areas of Belamadina. They also do a night visit from 10pm to 11pm which looked great.

What a fantastic exhibition! We're not car enthusiasts in the slightest but decided to go here on a whim (saw it mentioned on a review of the Hop on Hop Off bus tour). The displays are great, great mix of cars and some fashion dresses reflecting the era. Cars are in beautiful condition and each one has a small description plate. Building is deceiving big with a lot to see (casual stroll and photos took us about an hour). I'm so glad we visited, I highly recommend visiting.

A very interesting concept showing cars with fashion set in a spacious environment filled with natural light. A story goes with each car and fashion piece for context and background. A limited range of cars but still interesting. An afternoon suited to me and my wife 👍

Lovely museum overall! Has quite the variety of cars, ranging between the early 1900 to the 1980, the majority being between 1900-1950. There is an audio guide available. Overall fun! And some very cool historical pieces can be foumd there!

We visited as a family and it was very reasonably priced to get in. I must admit, I didn’t think it was really my thing, even I really enjoyed it. They have a great collection of cars and there’s not too much reading the signs also. They’re in English as well as Spanish. 10/10 we spent about 60/90 mins here. What a lovely place.

Awesome! It was a pleasure fory eyes and my mind. Very stylish decorations and interesting exposition. I spent there almost two hours because it was interesting to read the history and explanations. There were two bathrooms and places to sit. In the main hall there were a souvenir shop with nice things to buy.

I am a fan off vintage cars, I mean I don't know much about car but I just love and enjoy watching the way how they look like back in the old days. It is very worthy to visit if you are a fan of old cars!! They are presented nicely and each one has its own description. It was really satisfying to look at them 🚘

This museum is well worth your time. We paid extra to take a tour in the Aston Martin. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! Ricardo was excellent to drive with. Kind of jealous of Ricardo—he has a great job and does it well. The clothing on the mannequins matches the time period of each car and there are small pockets of other clothing and engines displayed throughout the museum. This experience was, by far, our favorite of Malaga.
Crissy Stephan — Google review
Such a fantastic place! The brightest impression that I have got in Malaga. I adored the exhibition, it is splendid! I tried to read each description of cars and outfits to dive deeper into their history, it's brief but informative. I highly recommend this place! You utterly will not regret :)

Listen. If you go to malaga. YOU HAVE TO VISIT THIS PLACE. Especially if your a car guy. There are so many classic cars. From an Aston Martin db4, a buggati type 57 and a Mercedes 300sl gull-wing worth 1.5million euro. I've never been so excited and amazed by a museum.

If you're a car lover this is the place for you. Each car comes with a piece of history in the form of a plaque next to each car. The cars are well maintained from an aesthetic perspectivr even those from the 20's or 40's.
Mirela Ignat — Google review
Fantastic experience all around. Me and my girlfriend visited and paid only 6€/pp since we are university students. There is a lot to see here a ton of cool cars and fashion from the same era. Staff is super friendly and welcoming also you can read about every car from the plaque. They have it in spanish and in english. If you want there is also an audio tour available for 2€/person more but me and my girlfriend don’t usually like to do those so we opted out. What I like about this place the most is that everything is very clean and organized. Also its such a pleasure to look at beautiful cars in this ligtning that they have. Everything is just so nice
Daniel Turkia — Google review
Excellent. Free parking on site. Not the normal car museum. The selection of cars is on the basis of design for the period. The context is assisted with fashion items also from the period. There is an audio guide included. Good toilets. Pleasant coffee/snack vendor outside. Offers on ticket prices if book in advance. An interesting couple of hours.

Nous avons adoré la combinaison autos et mode. J'ai été émue de revoir des vêtements que ma mère a porté ou acheté pour ses boutiques au Québec surtout le manteau et le chapeau de fourrure. Merci beaucoup 😄🌹 (Translated by Google) We loved the combination of cars and fashion. I was moved to see clothes that my mother wore or bought for her boutiques in Quebec, especially the fur coat and hat. Thank you very much 😄🌹

We were awed by the beautiful cars, dresses, hats, lamps, painted engines, artwork and more. The curves and colors of some cars blew us away. I can't imagine anyone not getting some joyous moments from this collection of vintage and rare items. A bright and spacious building to slowly stroll around. Stop and read the info panels; look up at the art on the walls; picture yourself in wearing the hat or dress in front of you; and of course picture yourself driving that Black Cat! Give yourself at least 2 hours to view the collection. The only flaw to the experience was the underwhelming gift shop - so small, with only a few items for sale. A lost marketing opportunity that should be addressed immediately. Otherwise, a must-see museum in Malaga.
Sue Jeakins — Google review
One of the best museums I've visited. The cars and fashion are a fantastic complementing mix. The natural light in the display areas makes this such a pleasant and airy museum. A great collection and well worth the 10€ entry fee. I will visit again. Loved it!
Michael Chadwell — Google review
Even though I rushed the visit, I only managed to properly see half of the museum (arrived 2 hours before closing time) ; didn't manage to see the movie cars exhibition at all unfortunately. Not only is the collection of cars and clothes/hats/bags and other objects breathtaking, it's of historic importance. I would spend an entire week in that place if I could 🥹 I do wish there was more space in order to be able to walk all around each car and see from all angles. Would also love more Infos / details about the cars and clothes. Car enthusiasts probably would wish more motors to be exposed and more interiors to be visible. But it's a must for fashion historians and vintage enthusiasts.
Marion Descamps — Google review
Very comprehensive museum. Nice touch to place historically appropriate clothing to each car's time period. Short but informative information about each car in Spanish and English. Must be one of the best museums in its sjanger.

I have been to a few Motoring museums before, but, this is the best I have seen. Allow at least 2 hours to view all the cars at your leisure. The fashion element of the presentation was really good too. The whole experience is so cool and sophisticated, a must see in Málaga.
Linus Gaffney — Google review
Unexpected gem of a place!! Something for everyone, including highly detailed & exotic fashion exhibits, one off experimental vehicles & Mussolini´s Parade Car! Of note is the Milburn electric vehicle from 1916. It offered a range of 80 km (70 miles) and could run up to 25 kph (15 mph). Otherwise, some fabulous & unusual ICE vehicles, especially the Aston Martin DB4, which I fell in love with ;0 I decided that is such a gentlepersons car compared to the rather tarty E Type :) I enjoyed that hearse as well!! My only criticism is that it would have made a complete experience to have had an educational cut out of an ICE engine & gearbox (preferably moving) to explain how the system works & the 4 stroke cycle, most of these vehicles run on. Maybe next to the pancaked Morris Minor, which explains perfectly that your car is not an indestructable piece of engineering, but a rather vulnerable collection of parts :]

Lobito de Mar is a Michelin-starred Spanish seafood restaurant with an amazing traditional menu that stands out from the rest. It sources its ingredients from some of the best fish markets in Andalusia, ensuring their freshness and quality. The restaurant is located on Marbella's Golden Mile and offers stunning views over the ocean.
Excellent seafood restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The only thing is that there is only one person taking the orders and we had to wait over half an hour for him. Not sure why.

Professional caring staff - not pushy, always helpful, good english. Food was good but not top. 2/3 of courses had no bib michelin quality, just price. It was jamon croquettes and tuna tartar. But! Creamy lobster rice was the meal, that we want to eat every week. Deep flavours, perfectly cooked rice, thank you!

I visited this restaurant twice within a span of two weeks, and my experiences were quite different. On my first visit, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by our waiter. He was thoughtful and incredibly knowledgeable about the food being served, including its origin, recommended way of eating, and every single ingredient in each dish. He truly elevated our dining experience and made it superb. It was 2 of us and we enjoyed a 12 oysters, the porterhouse tuna, anchovies, tartare, a small cut tuna dish, sparkling wine, and a couple of beers. We left room for desert which was a good call. Every bite was a culinary delight and we thought it was priced. However, on my second visit, the overall experience was not as outstanding as the first time. We had high expectations for the service, hoping it would match our previous exceptional experience. Unfortunately, our waitress did not seem as invested in our dining experience. She did not take the initiative to provide recommendations or guide us through the menu. When we asked for advice, her response was, 'I wouldn't really know, I haven't tried that dish.' While this response was honest, it would have been nice to receive some guidance. In her defense, waiter #1 was hard to beat. Despite this, I do plan to return to this restaurant. The food is undeniably a spectacle for Marbella standards, and I truly hope for a more consistent service in the future!

Great atmosphere and decoration, tasty food, the food presentation was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. It’s true that you can get delicious sea food in other restaurants in Costa del Sol for way less money, but I think the whole experience at Lobito de Mar makes it worth visiting.

Great atmosphere and a large seafood menu. Food was ok. The Russian salad was fantastic but then the fried calamari were hard chewy and gummy. The waiter didn’t even ask why we didn’t eat any of the calamari and they charged us for it.

The restaurant overall is fantastic with amazing and outstanding service, atmosphere and excellent staff, the food quality is good and the flavors amazing everything we order is outstanding except the lobster I don’t recommend it at all thats my opinion the lobster is very large, and there was no flavor moreover, very very expensive, but I think the other mine course are amazing based on the other reviews. Would I come back, the answer is yes 👏🏻, but I will not order lobster.

One of the best restaurant experiences I had in my visit to Marbella. Russian sale is a must! All the seafood is super fresh and the best quality! Paellas ara fantastic also! You also have the option to go to the tapas bar and have small bites seated at the bar. Don’t hesitate to visit it !

Worst restaurant staff I have experienced in many years! Arrogance instead of an apology after my complaint!!! Even one star for the service is too much! We got one of the worst tables in the restaurant, placed in the middle of the room. After we were constantly blinded by the waiter's lamp and one of the waiters ran into my chair for the fifth time, we wanted another table. We were only offered a table on the terrace, although many other tables were still free, also the neighboring table. This was not nice but ok for me, after all we were late and still got a table. After ordering we waited ca. an hour for our first course. At the same time as our dessert came, the lady who managed the table placement also came and brought the bill. She said she needs our table and we have to go now. After the payment I said that of course we're going now, but I don't think it's ok after an hour of waiting for the food. The lady's answer in an arrogant voice (quoted): "It's your own fault, you were too late and then wanted to switch tables. Other people are also waiting for the experience!" I was speechless! At this point I expected a nice apology! Another disappointment was my hippo-dessert, it had no top! So it does not look like a hippo! According to the waitress, they were out of tops because they were broken. But the food itself tasted very good. My tuna was excellent.

The restaurant The Farm is a market-oriented establishment that offers seasonal and local cuisine with the aim of reducing food miles. The farm is also a performance space and a chill-out oasis.
A real secret garden in old Marbella. Friendly staff but a bit expensive. It was not busy in early afternoon. We had cocktails and guacamole which was very good quality.
Dino Glazemakers — Google review
A very nice restaurant with a quaint garden es que atmosphere inside and plaza seating outside. The menu has a little of everything but the focus here is on fine fresh ingredients. There are fish, meat, and vegetarian options. Our meal was very good. The hummus was delightful - handmade not puréed. The vegetarian burger was good (hard to eat like a traditional burger because it fell apart) but the mix of ingredients was quite pleasant. We also had pulpo - which missed the mark a bit since it was under seasoned and a tad chewy (in defense of the the restaurant we didn’t mention that to them and ask for them to fix it). In the end, we really enjoyed our lunch.
Matt C — Google review
We were lured here, with the promise of slow food, locally sourced from deserved farmers. "Slow food" is now almost as abused in the restaurant biz as "oven baked" (you don't say). The food is really poor. The overcooked pasta has a pesto as insipid as a 10second tea bag dunk. Thank goodness for the tomatoes. The burger fares slightly better, but without a hefty dose of 3 plastic packets ("the farm"?) Of mustard, i wouldnt have been able to extract the bean patty from the roof of my mouth...denture wearers beware. The felafel were good, really good. Sadly their dance partner was a salad that was crippled by bland, mass market ingredients. The flavoured water was the highlight...really. Add to that, it's pretty expensive. This place is canned mutton dressed up as local organic spring lamb.

Amazing! Had such an unforgettable night. Food was great, service was great, flamenco was an extra experience;) It was my mom's birthday and they made it so so special for her by singing her happy birthday in spanish ;) Thank you so so much! It will stay in her memory forever, and that's so precious xxx Thank you for making my mom feel as special as she is to me ;)

We came for dinner and flamenco on a Sunday evening. The food was great, the staff was friendly, helpful and relaxed, and the dancers were exciting, artistic and expert. I had really interesting and tasty vegetarian food, while others had meat. Best olives for snacking that I've had anywhere. Great experience.

Super cute spot. Wait it’s are nice and food service is quick. We both got fish and they were cooked perfectly and flavours were good. Just a bit over priced if say. Main course is around 25-30 euros but not sure it should be so much.

Do yourselves a favour and just book a table straight away. No need to think about it. The menu is forever changing because it is built around fresh, locally sourced produce, hence the name. Damn, it was good! Located in the far bottom corner of the old town, once you enter, you're taken into the back courtyard and for a moment it feels like you are in someone's backyard. A simple, intimate and warm atmosphere, made better with quality and friendly service. Then, on top of all that, a brilliant flamenco performance in between each course of food. I had the Carpaccio with goat cheese ice cream, a perfectly balanced taste explosion. Sirloin with vegetables, tender, seasoned to perfection and a sauce to die for. Carrot cake, this was not from this world, it was sorcerous it was that good.

this gorgeous hidden gem is obviously well known despite its quiet location as it was fully booked from 9pm onwards) and had a couple of drinks. Loved the decor, ambience, music and service. My piña colada was lovely. Thought about eating there and would have liked to but there was not much for vegans. However this seems to be commonplace in most costal Spanish resorts (I’ve had a vegan burger and chips elsewhere three nights running!), however the dishes on the menu sounded really unusual and interesting - think Heston! I’d love to go back to watch the Flamenco show before I leave. UPDATE: I originally gave this venue five stars for food, service and atmosphere. However I returned this evening as I’d enjoyed it so much before and asked before entering if we were able to sit in and watch the flamenco show even though we hadn’t booked. A polite staff member checked, said yes, and welcomed us in. Sat us at the same table before and was nice to know the waitress had remembered us. Ordered two drinks and were making up our minds about food as we were not hungry at that time. I then ordered another alcoholic drink and my companion ordered a starter. When my drink arrived and while waiting for the starter the manager (I assume, based on the way he was directing other staff and arguing about cancellation policies to someone on the phone while we waited to be seated) came to our table and abruptly told us that we could only see the show if we spent €49 each and ordered from a set menu. Obviously we were taken aback as there was no mention of this when we arrived and after ordering drinks. It wasn’t so much this policy that was unfair but he was rude, abrupt and made us feel unwelcome. As my drink had only just arrived and we were still waiting for the food I asked if we were allowed to stay to at least finish what we’d ordered. He checked his watch and said “yes, as you’ve ordered” and walked away with a miserable face. We then felt rushed and uncomfortable, even though there were several empty tables around us and the show lasted for about 10-15 minutes (felt edgy all the way through, as if I was waiting to be marched out). Such a shame as the venue is so pretty and the other staff were lovely. Can no longer recommend.

The atmosphere was amazing, a beautiful garden that truly sets you in the right mood to enjoy what they have to offer. The resturant was delicious we had the appetizer platter that came with homemade chips falafel and guacamole which we devoured it was good! Casanis Bistrot Marbella is a French restaurant that is popular for its traditional French cuisine with a contemporary twist. The atmospherically designed restaurant has beautiful walls decorated with paintings and lush plants outdoors in the summer months, as well as indoor tables. The rustic tavern offers sidewalk seating where guests can enjoy the lively atmosphere while sipping wine.
The restaurant is one of my top list in Marbella, and it’s not my first time. The food is amazing overall each time I go there I enjoy my food and the atmosphere. This place nickel and dimes. sure, it has nice ambiance and decent food but so does many other restaurants in old town Marbella. the beef tartar is better at Bazzar Meat by Jose Andres, Las Vegas. as we paid $160 euros for 2 people, seeing a $7 euros charge for bread we did not order was displeasing.

Came here for dinner and I thought the food was decent. Pros: Servers were fun and kind Location is scenic Food was done decently, although nothing special Cajun prawns was the best out of all of them, sauce really tasty. Cons: Expensive as each main is €30 for a relatively normal portion. We spent €177 for 4 people.

Far too expensive for what is offered and because of this I wouldn’t recommend it to others - a beautiful setting, but pretty average food. This was a comment I heard from tables all around me - A few people were disappointed and a couple next to us who had been before said that it used to be good food and fairer priced. It’s a shame that we came and left bitter because the bill was outrageous and frankly not worth it. I would have paid half of what I did. Bread was brought to the table without asking and then charged. €144 for a meal without a bottle of wine, two mains and two starters is ridiculous. Coming from London and my partner is a chef we were both very very disappointed. Save your money and don’t waste it here - there are lovely restaurants all around this place that don’t overcharge and full of locals so clearly they know where to go!

Beautiful food, even more beautiful setting. Casanis was recommended by a colleague and we visited on our trip with two close friends. It was relatively easy to book a table and they kindly accommodated us being slightly late due to road closures getting into old town. We had decent hopes for the food but just wanted a nice atmosphere and a chilled meal in old town, safe to say we were blown away. The wine list was superb and not too overly pricey, with good wines from most countries available for all price ranges. With the mixed heritage the menu can come across odd at first with a range of dishes from Vietnamese spring rolls to beef wellington and entrecôte, however everything we tried was sublime and they nailed the execution. Three of our party opted for beef wellington, with myself wanting a more traditional ‘steak frites’ type meal, getting the entrecôte with peppercorn sauce. The spring rolls were a refreshing surprise, served with lettuce leaves to roll them in and a sauce which I still can’t put my finger on! We also sampled the prawn and scampi croquettes which were equally brilliant. The wellington was cooked perfectly and came with potato and vegetables included. Leaving little need for extra spent on sides. The entrecôte was incredible (I had it rare) and a far thicker & tender cut than I had expected for just €30, again this came with fries included and salad, meaning no further spend on sides either. What really rounded the meal off as a night to remember was the service and atmosphere. Despite being a very busy night, we were not left waiting and the waiter always made sure to top our wine up right on cue so we weren’t to pour it ourselves. The setting is magical, especially on a hot evening as the sun is setting, I would recommend arriving before sunset to appreciate how the ambience improves as the night begins. Overall 10/10 one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to, and one that doesn’t feel at all overpriced.

The location and service and food as such were great. I had the grilled salmon, mashed potatoes, ratatouille and tarte tatin. However, 4 hours later, I was laying ill flat in bed, having a really bad stomach and vomiting. I did not experience something like this for the last 15 years, I am really not sensitive. So for me it is clear, that there was something not OK with the food. That's an absolute no-go.

Phenomenal food, excellent service, consistently flawless dishes. Devine menu, wine selection, and atmosphere. Food quality has not faltered for 20 years. Have recommended and continue to recommend. Was going here before the Casanis Group evolved...now the name Casanis simply means excellence. Bravo.

It was the evening of my partner's birthday, so we ate out. We both chose the tuna which was cooked beautifully. The service was great and the staff were so friendly and helpful. If ever we are in Marbella again we will definitely pay a visit.

This traditional Spanish restaurant offers a great atmosphere with views of the river, plus delicious food in a classy setting. The service is excellent and the menu boasts both Andalusian and Basque classics. There's also a lovely terrace to enjoy in good weather.
Beautiful terrace, great service and fantastic food.

Tapas next door. Last time we visited their restaurant next door. We were lucky to get a table as it's very popular. With prices starting from €2 each its very good value. The Prawns were on the specials board €3.50 each. Mushroom Ball stuffed with cheese and ham €3.25. Courgette bites and chicken rolls €2 each. Fried egg with Truffle €5, wasn't expecting the ham and chips with it though. Mini burger with mustard mayonnaise and chips €5. It was all very tasty and a bit different to what we would normally order at a tapas. Glass of wine starts from €3.

The food was wonderful. The service was super friendly. The specials could’ve been said in a slower manner but small thing this is. Rose wine was great. The cheek was dissolving in pieces and the feather with potato risotto was incredible. Great vibe and space between tables.

We went here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, we talked to the staff about his birthday but they didn't do anything which was sad. The food was very good! But service was probably the worst I've experienced, the meat my boyfriend ordered medium rare was almost completely raw. When we ordered water, there were flies in our glasses, which you could easily see, but the waitress didn't care. Then when we paid, they had added bread, which we didn't eat, for €7. We pointed this out and the waitress got mad and didn't say anything to us, didn't see a single smile from anyone in the service the whole evening. And this is supposed to be Michelin?

We had a very lovely celebration lunch. The service was exceptional, the wine and food very nice. We will definitely return to what is now our favorite restaurant in Fuengirola.

Fine dining Restaurante Charolais for their anniversary menu. Yes.Fuengirola has the best fine dining restaurant. Tucked away behind the main post office there is this truly special place. The plaques on the wall give it away. For one week they were offering a special anniversary menu as well as their A la carte. The Gastronomic menu was 45€ including wine as follows. They serve you bread with olive oil dip. Snack Foie gras millefeuille First course Egg,mushroom,Foie gras,Truffle Tempura Prawns Second Course Cod with pil pil sauce Tenderloin Steak Cheese course Selection of desserts All the courses were stunning. The service and staff were of the highest standard. We were given a complimentary drink from the owners at the end of the meal. To be honest we weren't expecting half of what we got. The restaurant manager said that the meal came with wine. A rose to start, then a white and then red. We didn't expect them to be topping the wine glasses up all through the evening. Lost count how many we had.

We ate here twice. Once in the restaurant and then in the wine/tapas bar. Service in both was great and food first class. Big choice on the menu and staff happy to explain some of the more local dishes. We had a trio of local musicians entertain us for a few minutes. Overall five stars well deserved.

This is the best restaurant in Fuengirola, bar none. Have been coming to this disappointing food town for 20 years and our prayers were answered when we found Charolais thanks to its Michelin listing. Now we go at least twice each trip. The Russian salad is the best I've ever had, the Cantabrian anchovies I dream about, the artichokes with jamon, aubergines with cane honey, spider crab, it's all incredible. The tapas bar next door is great too and more informal, but we love a long lunch or dinner on the terrace with all the sharing plates. Lovely staff and wines too.

Wow. One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Friendly but very professional service. Wonderful atmosphere and perfect taste. When you book your table, you have to confirm your reservation with a credit card. I was surprised but now I know why. They need to ensure you show up so they can prepare the best experience for you. Thank you for your perfection.

Excellent wine and interior. Food was good until a certain point. But the customer service could have been better in a situation where they made a mistake and not once felt sorry about it. Their solution would have downgraded the quality of the food but didn't knowledge it. So the whole situation left us unsatisfied which could have easily go the other way. Perhaps some training for the waitress and manager and I do say this with courtesy

My anticipation for dining at BODEGA CHAROLAIS has been building since I moved to Fuengirola last year. However, my recent Valentine's Day experience there was a significant letdown. While the evening started promisingly with a complimentary glass of cava and an amuse-bouche, the excitement quickly dwindled once the food arrived. The crispy prawns with sweet and sour sauce were unremarkable, tasting like something straight out of a supermarket aisle. The artichokes with bacon didn't fare much better; they were forgettable at best. Things took a turn for the worse when our main courses arrived. The suckling lamb chops were minuscule and thin, resembling more of a starter portion than a main dish. Accompanied by overcooked vegetables, the entire plate was a disappointment. The duck suffered a similar fate – overcooked and burned, and worst of all, everything was served cold. It was a struggle to even finish a portion of the mains. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction to the waitress, the only consolation offered was a complimentary dessert, which I declined since I'm not a fan of sweets. Moreover, to add to the disappointment, we were served a different wine than the one we had ordered. Despite requesting a 2020 bottle, we were presented with a 2021 vintage, and unfortunately, the staff didn't offer any substantial acknowledgment when we brought this to their attention. Overall, the experience fell far short of our expectations. Dining out should be a special treat, surpassing what you can create at home. Unfortunately, BODEGA CHAROLAIS failed to deliver, and with plenty of nicer and more affordable restaurants in the area, we won't be returning or recommending it to others. The Michelin recommendation seems baffling, considering the poor quality of the food, a wine list written in pencil, and an overall unpleasant dining experience.

Restaurant Charolais offered us a wonderful dining experience. The Michelin recommendation did not disappoint, and the restaurant exceeded our expectations. Reception was busy but very friendly and the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The appetizer with grilled vegetables was very tasty. It was a great way to start our meal. The highlight of this restaurant was undoubtedly the steaks. They were perfectly fried and full of flavor. The portion size was sufficient, but left room for dessert. Dessert was a heavenly chocolate fondant with ice cream. The rich flavor of the chocolate fondant combined with the coolness of the ice cream was a match made in heaven. It was the perfect end to the meal. I recommend making a reservation in advance, as the restaurant Charolais was a popular place and I can understand why. This restaurant offers high quality Andalusian food and deserves all the praise it receives.

We had a very good meal here in the outdoor courtyard, which was well presented. Service was a little rushed but generally the staff were friendly. The meals were tasty and looked great, not sure about mushrooms with the duck though. All in all, an enjoyable experience and would recommend.

We came here in recommendation, I must say it was a pleasant surprise. As any nice restaurant they focus on a semi short menu narrow choices but that’s when you can deliver quality. There is something for everyone from meat to fish. The food was seasoned well and had amazing spectra of flavour. We tried a bit of everything. The service staff were attentive and very kind.

Had a wonderful meal at the terrace. Great starters, a very nice steak and good house wines. The terrace is a comfortable environment with good and relaxed atmosphere.

Another beautiful tapas lunch. The tapas is somewhat elevated from usual fayre available in Fuengirola. Excellent service. The best in Fuengirola. Always come here for a celebratory lunch.

Nestled between Marbella and Puerto Banus, the Boho Club Restaurant is a hidden gem celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere, luxurious setting, and delectable cuisine. Surrounded by tropical gardens, this restaurant offers a unique dining experience. Guests rave about the perfectly crafted cocktails and diverse oyster variations. The ambiance is enhanced by the evening fire displays at some tables. While some visitors note that communication at reception could be improved, many appreciate the overall great service and pleasant surroundings.
Nice restaurant with charming ambience to enjoy the dinner with good music. The food was delicious and the presentation of each dish was excellent. We have chosen the tasting menu to try the cuisine, and we loved the choice. We started with Carabineros and ham croquettes, corn soup, roast beef, main course grilled sea bass and meat iberian prey with rise. We finished the dinner with a sweet dessert Pavlova cake with fruits. Very professional and friendly service. Everything was perfect.

Absolutely outstanding dining at Boho Club. We enjoyed a tasting menu from Diego del Rio and absolutely loved every plate. Innovative but not gimmicky, beautiful and super tasty. Service was also excellent and I loved the cosy setting. Can’t wait to go back.

Now you can also have top quality Grass fed Entrecôte for lunch. A winner 🥩 Original Today having the tasting menu which again has improved. Now you get a diversified selection of croquettes so you don't have to do with shrimp alone. The tartar now holds Jerez brandy which catapult it up among the french. Rest of the menu fortunately did not change and the sensation is complete. For the autumn a new menu is on it's way... 🍽 Music selection during lunch sounds like the night experience, except it's not too loud, which for me is a big plus. Wine list again has improved. I rarely drink spanish these days and here you can chose from a wide selection of french, italian and wine from overseas 🍷 Bon apetite 😋

Such a disappointment. Service was slow, miserable and frankly unpleasant. A manager not doing his job correctly. Food was very average at best. Some starters were good, some not. Most mains were not great and when you pay over 100€ a head, you expect more. The chips were great! Other restaurants of the same calibre are far superior. Certainly a big let down for our special event dinner and won’t be returning or recommending.

A must visit for quality food, wine, service, decor and ambiance. We ordered so many cocktails (porn star/espresso martini - Arabian pot - matcha heaven (matcha - tequila, etc) the list goes on) and they were all made perfectly, presented beautifully and arrived quickly! We tried all the different oyster variations, the starters were beautiful and then the main was probably the best we have had whilst living in the area. Some of the group ordered wagyu ribs, and some Rossini. The truffle sauce was made in-front of us, and the result was superb. All washed down with top quality wine of course.

Everything that could wrong, went wrong: an event was taking place last night and clearly distracted the waiters from taking care of us, we got absolutely dreadful service. It was also horribly noisy. We had to return both the starters and the main course as they each arrived cold at the table... We needed to tell the waiter what to do throughout the evening and were fighting to get his attention. The food was absolutely insipid (every dish) which, for a chef who once had a Michelin star, is totally unacceptable. When I asked to see Mr Diego del Rio, I was told he had already left for the evening. I therefore asked to see the manager instead, who wasn't there either... A young man who was the head waiter received my complaints with big smiles and offered apologies. When the bill arrived, (€750 for four) they even tried to charged me an additional bottle of wine (€140) which we never ordered. This was eventually corrected, however no gesture on the bill was made. A totally unprofessional, badly run, 'has-been' place for gullible tourists and which I strongly recommend to avoid at all cost.

Dinner is quite tasty though a bit expensive. Especially because of the service not working properly for over two years. I’ve been there about eight times with friends and clients and I also waited 45 minutes for a cocktail. For number two cocktail I waited 30 minutes. If only this place hired better staff. The interior design in a beautiful and the concept is cool and up to date. Cocktails are sometimes great and sometimes horrible. Staff tend to be confused and often they don’t speak English very good. Recently we had breakfast which was a waste of money and they gave me food allergies. We ordered some toast with eggs without hollandaise sauce as I am allergic to milk and tomatoes. I got my toast with some tomato pesto even though we’d specified my allergies. The waitress was kind but had to come back and double-check our order. There were only four tables occupied. We all ordered dishes with poached eggs and they were all hard boiled. The concept is great and staff is kind but food was not impressive. I already told the owners privately about these issues over a year ago and nothing changes unfortunately. On a good note - their marketing is great but the experience doesn’t really follow up.

The entrance to the restaurant is through the hotel reception. Which is not clear. So you are waiting around wondering why you are not being seated, to be later told that a member of restaurant staff needs to come and collect you. Need better communication at reception. The atmosphere is great, the setting is very nice. Especially in the evening when the fire comes out from some tables. The service will depend on who you get, but generally its good. The food is ok. Some dishes were great, some ok, some so so. Generally the meat dishes were better than fish. Oysters at €6 a piece is pretty up there in terms of pricing. One of the more expensive places around.
