Hiking Trails
To enjoy Theoskepasti - Skaros Hiking Trail, it is advisable to start early in the morning and carry enough water as there are limited places to buy it. Though the path is relatively easy and can be done in sandals, some parts may have slippery ash and gravel. For inexperienced hikers, wearing shoes with good soles is recommended. This hike spans from Fira to Oia and takes approximately 2 hours.
Nice walk. Remember to start early in the morning before it gets hot. Take water with you as there are not many places to buy it. It is a rather easy path that you can walk in sandals, but there are places where it can be a bit slippery due to the ash and gravel on the path. Therefore, if you are inexperienced, wear shoes with a good sole. The walk from Fira to Oia took me about 2 hours.
Renata Ciupi?ska — Google review
Very nice hike but you have to be extremely careful. Luckily there are many points to stop and rest, but some parts feel too close to the cliff to comfort. I guess it also depends on how comfortable you are with heights
Carlos Aguirrebeitia — Google review
Really a great walk. It starts in Fira and you go all the way to Oia. Moderately difficult. I wore good sandals and was fine. You don’t need hiking boots. This is great for kids over 8 so they can use energy. Really amazing views you don’t see anywhere else. Go through several small towns and by the churches. We enjoyed it. Remember to get going by 8:30 or so.

Vassaltis Vineyards

Wineries & Vineyards
The Vassaltis Vineyards is a modern wine tasting area and terrace located in the village of Vourvoulos on Santorini. The winery was founded by Yannis Valambous who inherited the vineyards from his late father during the Greek financial crisis. This is one of the most impressive buildings on Santorini, with its elegant and modern wine tasting area and terraces.
Of the winery tastings we did in Santorini, Vassaltis was the best. The winery itself is beautiful, the staff doing the tasting was very informative and welcoming, the wines were delicious as were the food pairings. We called to book a tasting within the hour, which was kindly accommodated by the winery (it was April, the off season). The tasting was of a mixture of red, white and sparkling wines, all of which were excellent. The staff leading our tasting was very informative, and we learned a lot about the wines of Vassaltis. We were also visited by the winery cat, also called Vassaltis, who was very friendly! The food pairings were amuse-bouche, which were excellent and went perfectly with the wines. Vassaltis is well worth a visit!

We had a great time being served by Maria. The 5-course dinner with pairing was excellent, outstanding quality, and well served amount of food. It was hard to choose one wine to buy afterward (due to lack of space in our luggage)
Daniel Bastos — Google review
An amazing experience!! Vassaltis became a favorite really quick after our first wine tasting. Our sommelie ambassador Artemis (the wine hunter) was trully phenomenal and so knowledgeable! She made our wine tasting a path of wine pleasure and her hospitality was unique and beyond expectations. Also Tasa was fabulous and sweet. The wine has a rich character but the staff made the whole atmosphere memorable. We will be back for sure and we highly recommend it to all travellers!
George Petalidis (Petallika) — Google review
I don't like wine, but this tasting experience was phenomenal. We did the 5 wines with 5 pairings and a tour of the winery. What a great trip. The wines were fantastic. Paired with the exact type of food to bring out the best flavor in the wines. This is an absolute gem. Give it a try.
Chris Roggen — Google review
We did the 5 course dinner with the wine pairing and EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. It was hard choosing a favorite dish but I think the slow cooked sea bream and scallops were my favorite. I was worried that there wasn't going to be enough food but the four of us were stuff at the end. The five course meal is more seafood based (as expected since we are in Greece) but does include a course with beef. I forgot to take photos of all the courses bc I am a hungry monster but I highly recommend!
Elaine — Google review
Highly recommended for a wine testing. We booked the testing in advance and got a very nice table on the terrace when arrived. We really enjoyed wine in such nice atmosphere.

I can highly recommend the lunch tasting menu at Vassaltis, it was indeed one of the best experiences on the island. Our server was very friendly and knowledgable.
Camelia Ansari — Google review
We went for the Assyrtiko tasting experience (4 wines and 4 bites respectively). The wines were good; we most appreciated the "Gramina" wine which was offered second. The bites were good in a unique way, e.g. the smoked eel. It's a tad pricey, 40€ for wine tasting but individual tasting would be jolly expensive.
Nikos Anastasiou — Google review
Excellent service. Maria was wonderful and very accommodating. Good to call ahead to see if they have room, but they were able to squeeze us in before an event and accommodate us. We enjoyed the 4 wines and 4 bites tasting and they also have other options for delicious tastings. We would definitely come back!
Maddie Welsh — Google review
Sooo Vassaltis Vineyard is now on my list of favorite wineries to visit. The rarity of having good wine and good food at a winery is high. We were surprised during the tasting at how delicious the food was paired with the wines. The inside was spacious and had an open feel. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. Make sure to stop in if you have time on your travels.
M. H. — Google review
We dined at Vassaltis, experiencing the degustation menu with matched wine pairing and absolutely loved it! Maria, our waitress was incredibly informative about the wines and food, and offered incredible service on top of it all! Meeting the chef was a highlight of whom we could express gratitude for the meal shaded. Overall a great dining and tasting experience, we highly recommend this to anyone looking for an intimate and memorable foodie experience

The tasting menu at Vassaltis was one of the best we’ve tried! Our server was incredibly helpful with the wine pairing, and made the experience one of our favorites on Santorini. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had a great time here. We went for the grand tasting and didn’t regret it. The staff were very nice and helpful, including the wines and food pairings. Worth visiting if it’s your first time in Santorini
Tony S — Google review
Absolutely incredible experience. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I have little wine experience but everything we tried was delicious. The tour was a lot of fun and would recommend the delicious food pairings as well.

Such a great place to visit. They really have some of the greatest wines of Santorini. The food delicious, the staff absolutely knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely recommend for wine aficionados that want to try premium local varieties, and with an impeccable food selection.

Domaine Sigalas

The Domaine Sigalas Winery is a beautiful vineyard located in the heart of Santorini. This winery specializes in the Assyrtiko grape, grown on centuries-old, basket-trained vines.
This is a true apocalypse for wine lovers who are also foodies and prefer a more calm and less touristic ambiance. If you opt for their wine tasting package, portions are good but if you are really hungry, you can order an extra dish from their menu! We even stayed for an extra glass of wine just to enjoy the beautiful view of the vineyard. All in all it was a fantastic experience and our guide Maria took great care of us.
Christina Christopoulou — Google review
Our best meal in Santorini, with a level of sophistication and culinary technique not found in many of the island's more traditional restaurants. Amazed by the hospitality of Angelina, our hostess, and Patros, our sommelier. A must.
Brent Lue — Google review
One of the traditional vineyards on Santorini is the Domaine Sigalas. It's located a 10 minutes drive from Oia. They have several options in their tasting flights, however bear in mind that most of the wine produced in Santorini is white and thus is most prevalent although there is a red group of wine to taste. You will get a good description of both the wine and the grapes from the staff. You will enjoy the wine with great views of the vineyard and the sea. In addition, they have a nice food menu, so you could easily spend a few hours here.
Rick Jonsson — Google review
Great visit and the wines are really solid. Loved the setting were you sit among the vines. Best to make a reservation for tasting before you arrive. Some of the best wines you will find in Greece.
John Osgood — Google review
I had high expectations from this winery, in contrast it turned out to be my worst wine tasting experience ever. We visited the winery Thursday afternoon and there were few people already there. The lady at the reception was welcoming and friendly, no problems there. We scanned the menu and we decided to order the 100% Assyrtiko wine tasting. We were 2 adults so we ordered 2 times the same. The young lady who took the order did not even bother to propose to order 2 different options. When the wines arrived they were not in the right temperature but we did not complain. The young lady (whose by the way knowledge of wine seemed to be limited) told us quickly the lines she had memorised and left. After a while they brought us something to bite and to accompany the tasting but only one portion, even though we had ordered 2 packages. The wine was mediocre, I only really liked Nychteri, then Santorini barrel and 7 villages were also OK. Funny thing, that the lady came to ask what was our opinion, I didn't want to say anything bad so I said everything is OK, then she asked which one was our favourite and she left before I even completed my answer. My wife and I looked each other and laughed, then we decided to leave. The whole wine tasting lasted around 20 mins and we paid around 64€ (wine tasting packages, water, juice, tips). I understand that most wineries employ young boys and girls for the season, most of which are studying the subject, because they get paid less. However, for a wine lover, being able to carry out a small conversation is important. In my opinion all personnel (except the reception lady) are not up to the expected standard and believe me, I have visited many wineries in many different countries. 1 star, I regretted visiting the winery, I even regretted leaving a tip to the personnel. Mediocre wine and service.
d0rian7 — Google review
We booked the volcano wine pairing for the Santorini wines. The pairing contained a lot of dry wines and fish dishes. We loved it. Our host gave a great lesson on how grapes are grown in Santorini and a beautiful breakdown of the flavor profiles of everything. Our only disappointment was there are limitations on where they can ship the wines. The US distributor only carries 2 of the 6 wines we had.
Kelly Robinson — Google review
Amazing, must try experience if you’re in Santorini. Was familiar with their wines sold in NYC. The vineyard tour was insightful, cool to see such a different way of cultivating the grapes in crown shapes. The volcanic tour food pairing was delicious and complemented the wine, my favorites were the zucchini strawberry salad and the braised beef. Very friendly staff.
Audrey Li — Google review
At Domaine Sigalas, the harmonious staff ensured a delightful wine dinner experience for my wife, our toddler, and me. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly seated adjacent to the vineyard where our toddler playfully roamed and sampled fresh grapes. To keep her engaged, we decided to move indoors. Inside, rather than choosing the wine pairing dinner, we opted for a bottle. Our waiter's expertise was evident as he seamlessly paired a bottle with our dinner. As our meal concluded and we desired a wine dessert drink, they graciously accommodated our request to relocate outside. The culinary mastery of the kitchen presented us with what we consider the finest meal we've had in Santorini. I wholeheartedly endorse Domaine Sigalas for a memorable dinner, and rest assured, they warmly accommodate children and any seating preferences.

Very interesting and definitely worth the visit. The Cycladic Mistral” food & wine pairing experience was awesome. The hostess was great, giving interesting and pertinent informations. We absolutely recommend!
Barbara Sainte-Marie — Google review
The team at Domaine Singalas provided an amazing experience for my wife and I on a lovely afternoon in Santorini. We sat under a pergola that provided an escape from the wind and sun, while allowing for a ground level view of the vineyard. The food and service greatly exceeded the expectations, despite the fact that we regularly visit wine country in Northern California.
Scott Cannon — Google review
We visited the winery for their Volcano Diver's Wine Experience and it did not disappoint! We weren't sure what to expect from the wine tasting and pairings, but it exceeded expectations. Our guide/sommelier Lambrini was excellent. She explained the wine-making process from start to finish and explained the nuances that make Santorini wine so unique. Each wine we tasted was paired with a complementary dish and they were all delicious. We had a fresh zucchini salad, sea bass ceviche, fava with smoked eel, braised beef cheeks, and a cardamom ice cream for dessert. After the experience, we went inside the shop and had the pleasure of tasting some additional products. Would absolutely recommend visiting here if you are in Santorini!
Alexandra Kane — Google review
Amazing experience! My husband and I did the volcano diver’s experience, which included a tour of the vineyard, education about the grapes indigenous to santorini, 5 wines, and a 5 course pairing. The entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience fun. We ordered multiple bottles to be shipped back to us in the US. Highly recommend!
Kaliegh Fields — Google review
My husband and I came here for the wine tasting and food pairing. We are still getting into wine so we cannot give an accurate review. We believe the wine was good and the food was surprisingly tasteful too! If you’re wanting to get away from the busy area of the villages, I would recommend coming here. We forgot the persons name who conducted our wine tasting but he was extremely informed and kind
Jess Aus — Google review
Disappointed! Overpriced and not very good wine! We are avid wine enthusiasts and have visited many wineries around the world. We were not impressed with the wines at this place. The view was mediocre and it was superhot with no shade at all. We did two wine tasting flights and we were disappointed to say that several of the wines tasted the same. The food was mediocre too and overpriced. I would not recommend this winery. The only good thing was the sunset.

Mnemossyne Gallery is a small and adorable jewelry store with handmade pieces from around the world. The stones are beautiful, and the designs are very minimal but unique. The prices are good, and they also have an option for those who want solid gold jewelry. It's a great place to go if you're looking for something special.
a phenomenal jewelry store, individually the little cute store in oia stands out from the mainstream, run by the 2 south american girls with reinforcement from england, thanks to you, i find something nice with you every 2 years of your visit also a nice relaxed atmosphere and a nice baggage the gold-plated earrings become dilber if you wear them day and night, but then as a nice tip from andrea: polish with soda: will look like new, this year sevr nice: jewelry with volcanic rock!

Alex was so welcoming and friendly. The place had some unique designs and decently priced too. We were allowed our own time to choose the pieces and Alex kindly helped us with her recommendations too. This shop is such a difference from other scam ones around which charge exuberant. Would recommend a visit to this cute boutique

A fantastic place, we returned every day and were always welcomed warmly by Alex and Andrea. Their jewellery is amazing and we have made multiple orders since returning to the UK and they have been so great in arranging things for us. When we return to Santorini, Mnemosyne will be our first stop.

Artemis Karamolegos is a Santorini winery that has been producing award-winning wines since 1952. Artemis is the 3rd generation of winemakers at the winery and he has helped modernize the production process in order to keep up with current wine trends. The wines produced by Artemis are very versatile and can be enjoyed as part of a meal or enjoyed on their own. The restaurant at Artemis is also very popular, and offers good value for money.
We stopped by here on a whim after tasting one of their wines and realizing they were on the island. Funny thing is, we had been to dinner upstairs at Aroma Avlis a few years back but didn't realize the winery was downstairs. It's a beautiful little garden patio and Yorgos was a fantastic host. It's one of the more unassuming wineries on the island but definitely worth a visit!
Tyler La Marr — Google review
Nice, very friendly and warm reception, even as we just literally popped in from the street. You can taste wines before purchasing them from the shop. Pyritis was our favorite!
Henri L — Google review
Started off on the wrong foot - we were forgotten by the hostess who sat us down due to shift swaps. Fortunately, Giorgio who was very kind and knowledgeable came to attend to us. I had a decent experience here, would definitely say the quality of the wine is high and the techniques are very interesting (wines being fermented and kept in clay and concrete). We did the 7 wine tasting menu, and I must say that it went by very very quickly as they served two wines at once. I would agree with one of the reviews that the explanation of the wines are a little “read by the book” style and it felt very rushed but upon asking more about the wine, our host became very engaging and was sharing lots of insights/wine knowledge. Would recommend!
Marcus Tao Mox Lim — Google review
Nice wines... Nice food... And relatively fast service for a large group. We tasted 2 entry wines the assyrtiko and the rose... The white just as expected... The assyrtiko being a strong flavored grape the taste is obvious. The rosé is more mineral and for me, surprisingly balanced. I would rate it above the white. The sweet wine I do not rate... I do not genuinely appreciate this types of wine... A place to come back on a different day, so better wines in the list can be tasted...
Antonio Ruas — Google review
Our dearest discovery in Santorini was Artemis Karamolegos Winery and its restaurant Aroma Avlis. First, we went there to eat, and because the food was so good and the service was irreproachable, we decided to book a cooking class. It was the best experience ever. We learned how to make an authentic Santorinian salad, and got to taste as many cherry tomatoes as we wanted. And their wine is excellent.

We decided to walk in this wonderful place and spent a couple hours enjoying the tasting menu (the roots selection with local varieties). We also had great greek cheese selections (from nearby islands) and nice desserts. Our waiter was very very kind and attentive. So happy we decided to visit this place and will recommend for those who enjoy a more cozy atmosphere and great local wine.

Such a beautiful winery and amazing wine tasting experience. From the level of detail provided by the instructor to the amazing (and plentiful) food pairings, this was easily the best wine tasting I have done. Absolutely recommend!
Deana N'Chele — Google review
Fantastic winery. Lots of space and real nice interior. We had a degustation od 3 types of wines - white, rose and red sweet wine plus little bites. If you like sweet wines, you will enjoy the Vinsante. Most probably best sweet wine I have ever tasted.
Ivan Antolić — Google review
A perfectly fine winery. I have no complaints other than I wasn't wowed by anything there. There exist better options but there is nothing wrong with the place, I recommend a reservation as wine tours can fill the place up. Small warning, they give the wines one at a time (likely to avoid too many glasses) and sometimes take too long between glasses for some people, though you can likely signal the staff if needed. 4 stars because there is no tour of the winery itself and nothing special about the tasting (at least the 5 wine option)
tkolody — Google review
Very good wine tasting, i highly recommend. We took the second one to taste the wine 34 and the Nykteromi, which are both excellent and show how this winery cares about testing many different methods for the vinification process to create wines with beautiful taste and unique personality. Besides, the terrace where the tasting takes place is beautiful, quiet, very cosy, and the staff is welcoming and provide precise explanation about the domain and the wines.

Restaurant
Rotonda is a Greek-Mediterranean restaurant located near Apeiranthos Village in Naxos, Greece. It offers classic Greek dishes such as moussaka, pork rosto, and saganaki, as well as pasta, risotto, and mixed grill plates. The restaurant is known for its stunning sunset views over Filoti village towards Mt. Zas and the Aegean Sea.
We had a wonderful hike through the countryside of Naxos and ended our hike at Rotunda. A friend had suggested we go there and we were not disappointed! The views at sunset were absolutely amazing and then they placed a glass screen so we weren’t too cold during dinner, but still had a great view. The lamb and moussaka was delicious and a fantastic after dinner drink to top it all off. We would recommend to anyone!
Ashley Basinger — Google review
Made reservation easily online, requested and got a great front row table. Sunset view was beautiful. Service was absolutely lovely, they even offered blankets, but wasn't too chilly. Food was fantastic. Had hummus, fava beans, pork rosto, lamb shank, salmon, orange cake and chocolate cake...we all loved all of it. Excellent spot, easy parking, highly recommend the trip. Short drive back to Filoti

This restaurant is at the most beautiful location I have ever been for dinner. The view from the restaurant over the valleys of Naxos is spectacular. The food is delicious. The personnel is friendly, helpful and swift. The dishes are traditionally Greek so think grilled meat and fish and dishes like moussaka. This was the best dinner experience so far since we are in Greece. Highly recommended.

Excellent taste in food. Good quality of materials. Perfect service and the view of sunset is amazing. 2 glasses of white wine 1 salad and one main dish 48 euros
Evagoras Philippou — Google review
Definitely come here for the view alone! It was quite the drive to get here, but man, it was worth it. It was super windy the day we went, so we opted to sit furthest away from the window. I ordered the salad with the shrimp and it was delicious. Everyone in my party enjoyed what we ate. If it's a beautiful day, definitely sit on the patio or at least by the window so you get a gorgeous view.
Jessica Ng — Google review
Absolutely stunning mountain/ see views, accompanied by excellent service and delicious food. The prices are good, especially considering the quality of the food. We had a one starter, 2 mains and 2 desserts for around 70 euros. (we didnt drink alcohol, only water and a tea) Going here during sunset is the best option! We also got a free drinks at the end which was a sweet alcoholic drink with some honey in there. I do not know what it exactly was, but it was very tasty and a lovely way to end an already succesful dinner evening.
Jeff M?hlrad — Google review
What a fantastic evening and a great atmosphere! Good food and friendly staff. Unfortunately, my cocktail got blown over by the wind, but the Rotonda staff quickly came to clean the table and then offered me a new cocktail. Highly recommended. Excellent service and good food. Make sure to reserve online in advance.
Noud Scholten — Google review
The view from Rotonda is spectacular. All the mains we ordered are nailed. Every one is very happy with their food. Risotto, lamb shanks, quinoa ,sea food salad are highly recommended. The starter aubergine, cod we can’t complain, would be better if there are not deep fried. Desert somehow is a bit disappointing, I would avoid next time.
Megan Fang — Google review
Stunning views and delicious food. Very romantic. Going at sunset is the best. It gets a bit chilly after dark on the patio, but they do have personal blankets if you need them.
Tenu Vit — Google review
A superb restaurant in a beautiful setting. We ordered hummus, couscous salad and sous vide chicken fillet and all dishes were exceptional. We also ordered wine by the glass. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and the service. I would eat here again and is a must visit! Do book though as it is popular for so many reasons.
Tracy Carter — Google review
This place is worth the trek. Great food. We went for lunch and enjoyed the quiet and amazing view from the patio. The food we had was excellent and wished we were hungry enough to try more. Everything was handmade and so fresh! We had greek tacos, tzaziki, pita, and pistachio backlava. All were excellent. Food 5 Service 5 Atmosphere 5
Kelley Coates — Google review
The place is an experience on its own. Breathtaking sunset, beautiful decoration that gives an essence of luxury and simplicity. The tables have generous space between them and the music is in such volume that allows you to easily have a conversation with your company without hearing others or being heard. The service of the restaurant is impeccable, with very fast and polite waiters that often know what you want before you even ask (like an ashtray that was automatically delivered to me). As long as it concerns the food options, the restaurant provides a big variety of dishes including some traditional options with a gourmet essence, fresh pasta as well as some very meaty interesting options, like the sous vide pancetta I got that was served with the most delicious sweet potato puree I have ever eaten. Overall you won't be disappointed by the food unless you order the pesto pasta which was mediocre. Prices are a bit high per plate, but because there are not that many options for starters and the main dishes portions are big, you'll end up paying 25-30€ per person including drinks. Also take into consideration that you'll probably need a reservation. Overall highly recommended!

Antamoma is a Mediterranean restaurant in Naxos Town that serves fresh seafood from the island. It has a sleek and minimalistic exterior and interior, and is situated close to the beach. The food is seasonal and delicious, showcasing the pride of Naxos.
Awesome dinner spot! Had very original food options that turned out deliciously. It was also not crowded which was a nice bonus.

Average! Nothing to write home about but not bad by any means. It's just that compared to places we ate in Naxos, this one was a bit underwhelming for our taste buds. The was no clear vibe as well. Not much of a view from the ground floor seating, no distinct decor or music.

A good restaurant for a gastronomic Greek experience. The dishes were carefully prepared and bursting with authentic Greek flavors, creating a truly gastronomic experience that left me craving more. For those looking to pair their meal with the perfect drink, the restaurant boasts an impressive wine selection that perfectly complements the delectable offerings. Great pork steak with apple and potato mousse, the slow cooked beef was delicious with tomatoes and onion and potato puree. I recommend the pistachio dessert with cinnamon crust. We were a bit sad to not find some dishes on the menu. Hoping to try them next time.

Great service & great food. A little more formal/fine dining than you get on the main port which makes a nice change if you're staying in Naxos for a few days. Main menu is priced reasonably, however the specials such as fish are priced per Kg so can be expensive. For example, fish of day was €30.

Modern Greek cuisine on a great level! From the starters (zucchini fritters and fava) to the dessert (“piña colada”) it was a true pleasure.

Decided to go to Antamoma on Oia, Santorini for a date night with my fiancée and was so glad we did. The location was great, relaxed atmosphere, reasonably priced, and they were great accommodating my dairy allergy and my fiancées seafood allergy. We didn’t have reservations and went around 1930 which worked perfectly. We got the zucchini croquettes to start which were amazing, and the chicken for dinner.

To Elliniko Restaurant is a traditional Greek restaurant with a laid-back atmosphere and a terrace. The menu features regional cooking, and there is also room to accommodate vegetarians and vegans. There is table service, live music on certain nights, and wheelchair accessibility.
Wonderful local restaurant with a great outdoor seating area , lovely personal, always on the lookout for some extra service. The food is awesome, the changing pie’s of the day as a stater are a MUST! Freshly prepared fish, beer from local breweries and always some nice goodies at the end. My girls and I fell in love with this place. Give it a try.

The sitting area is huge and lovely, make sure to come early or make a reservation. We were lucky enough to get one of the latest tables for two without booking, just before 20:00. I was a bit let down by the food. It's good but missing that local Greek authenticity. The vine leaves were not very good, not much taste and very mushy inside, quite bland. The fish of the day was good (sea bass) and huge. The pork rosto was good but a bit on the dry side, and nothing too special either. We also had the greek salad with Naxos cheese which was absolutely huge but only ok. So overall good food but I was expecting much better.

This is a really great restaurant. Lots of traditional Greek dishes to choose from. Beautiful outdoor seating area. Reservations are a good idea for dinner, especially during the busier season. We ate a variety of dishes and they were all very good! Staff was also great. Very attentive and friendly.

Top restaurant in Naxos by far!!! The atmosphere, staff and food are all top notch. A lovely family owned restaurant that everyone should go to when in Naxos. We went for lunch one day and loved it so much we came back for dinner the next day. Would definitely recommend reservations if you want to go at peak dinner time.

Truly a top restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was absolutely fantastic, of excellent quality, and reasonably priced. The portions are also really generous, giving you great value for your money. As a nice bonus, we were offered delicious watermelon after our dinner. Definitely recommended if you want to enjoy a delicious and cozy dining experience at a good price.

This place is amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was amazing and very friendly. They have a lovely patio which is perfect in the evening. It's a little more expensive than other places we tried but I still think it was amazing value.

Wonderful restaurant with great atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food. We had the cheese platter, stuffed meat patties and meatballs in tomato sauce - everything came out quickly and was very tasty! Our server was knowledgeable, gave great recommendations and checked in regularly. Overall awesome experience!

This is everything you want in a Greek restaurant. The food is excellent. Service is fast. Price is reasonable and definitely try their signature dish the kleftiko goat. It’s superb. They also do something more restaurants should do on Naxos. They combine the local cheese with the Greek salad. But honestly their lettuce salad with walnuts and apples is even better. This restaurant is busy and rightly so. So definitely book.

By far the best dining experience we’ve had in Greece! We waited around half an hour without a reservation for a table on a weeknight at peak time, but happily passed the time having a drink down the street. The service is incredibly friendly, fast, and sincere, and the atmosphere was very convivial and romantic, with a healthy mix of tourists and Greek people (from what I observed). The food was very reasonable price for the quality and also arrived promptly - we shared the vine leaves, fried cheese, and beetroot salad - everything perfect. 10/10.

Great place for outdoor dining. We’ve came across the restaurant during an evening walk in the city and it was fully booked so booked a table for the next evening. We arrived 15 min earlier and got a great table in the garden. The garden is very welcoming with nice plants and soft Greek music playing in the background. The staff was very friendly and efficient, we got everything we ordered quickly and the food was delicious. We had the beetroot salad, fried feta cheese with honey, grilled prawns and kid size spaghetti bolognese. Everything was great and we even got a completely cake for dessert. Highly recommended

Very beautiful restaurant! I was able to explore authentic Greek cuisine here with dishes I have never experienced before. Very delicious flavours. I couldn’t help but think the dishes I ordered were prepared in advance and heated upon order. I don’t know enough about the cuisine to judge it. The service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, I had a good dining experience.

Good food, great service. Usually I wasn’t a huge fan of Greek food, but this restaurant probably convinced me to put it on my list. My dishes were supposed to be basic comfort food, and given I wasn’t a huge fan, I didn’t expect much. But the quality was top notch. Definitely one of the best on the island - at least among the ones I visited during my stay.

Very romantic atmosphere. Very fast and welcome staff ❤️ Food is very homey and tasty 😋 lamb melted in my mouth and salad dressing is amazing and unique with apple pieces! We loved this place! Approved by Food lovers! Just make your reservation earlier 😉

We made reservations through our hotel for 6:30 and we rushed over after a day at the beach. It's a beautiful outdoor area. We choose to walk because we though parking could be challenging but there is a free parking area within a few minute walk. We were given our choice of seating as 630 is a bit on the early side for dinner here. The food was good along with the service. Very cute outdoor ambiance and there was a line when we left.

Absolutely exceptional. One of my favorites meals this trip to Greece. Beautiful atmosphere. Great service. Beautiful, beautiful food. Wow. So good. Take me back already!!! Loved the over baked eggplant and the vegetarian moussaka. Plus the fried feta with honey and sesame.

The food is pretty good. The plates are massive and it's pretty inexpensive. We couldn't finish our plates, not even close. The vibe is great. The fried rolls were amazing.

One of the best and most memorable meals in Greece. It felt like we were one of only a few tables that were not locals. The lamb was amazing and a large portion of vegetables that were so delicious! Service was excellent and everything was timed perfectly and so fast. It was such beautiful experience all around. The atmosphere, environment, service, and the meal itself were all exceptional. Do not miss this opportunity for an incredible meal at an unbelievable price. Highly recommend To Elliniko to all visitors of Naxos.

A nice evening at Elliniko. We arrived late season, so perhaps that's why service was good if not overly enthusiastic. Great choices of local fare at great prices. Nice location and lighting (no views of sea, fyi).

Wonderful early-evening family dinner. Trust the pictures of the patio, it is lovely. Kleftiko was perfect, tender, and savory. A Naxos must dine. Can accommodate large family groups depending on time. 2,000 reviews don’t lie…. instead of reading this you could be there drinking Ouzo right now!

Go early or have reservations for this popular spot outside the fray. Lovely outdoor seating, friendly staff, good service even during busy dinner hours and excellent authentic Greek food. We had Greek salad followed by Moussaka and a traditional goat in papier with vegetables. Divine!

Borozzi Naxos Restaurant is a luxurious spot for dining and cocktails in the scenic town of Naxos. The alluring atmosphere, friendly service, and light music make it a perfect place to enjoy delicious dishes and refreshing drinks. They offer themed menus that feature unique Greek and Mediterranean delicacies, making it an ideal spot for anyone looking for exceptional dining experiences.
What an amazing dining experience. We got the 5-course meal plus wine pairing with 6 wines and were thoroughly impressed. Each dish had some serious attention to detail and brought a new spin to some classics like a Greek salad. The highlight of the meal for us was the goat which was melt in your mouth good. We each got a different wine pairing too which I would recommend as it gave us around 10 different wines from across Greece to try. Don’t worry about the price, it’s all well worth it!

Not often you are wondering the streets of a foreign island looking for something to eat (nothing special, just local fresh food), and you come across a true hidden gem. The restaurant itself looks like an art gallery, very modern with an elegant touch, simply put a very pleasant place to be (regardless of the exquisite meal that’s coming ahead). The service was fenomenal. Gave us very good wine recommendations and were very accommodating with my nut allergy (I have been to places where the chef would not alter his/her creations and you would simply need to skip the dish). They only serve Greek products (from the bread, to the olive oil, to the wine and the raw materials that make every single dish), and I must say they surpassed all expectations. The wine menu (while only offering Greek options), was varied and quite original. We started with an Orange wine (refreshing and crisp - Kind of a mix between white and rose with a light citrus touch), and continued with a delicious Syrah (very flavourful - one glass was enough for the full meal, and kept the flavour pretty well). The food was extraordinary (top 10-15 I have had in the world). We went with the 7 course tasting menu, which was the best decision we could have possibly made. An image is worth a thousand words (so see a pic of each dish). The key highlight was how the chef was able to create an incredible “espuma” that accompanied several dishes, which was very light and at the same time incredibly tasty. A mix between foam and purée (I am calling it foamée). Surprisingly, the restaurant hasn’t been caught by the Michelin guide and is yet to be awarded at least 1 very well deserve star! It was a perfect unexpected experience which makes it even more memorable. Worth the trip to Naxos just to try this place. We will be back!

The atmospheric decor of the seating area is accompanied by great music and a list of carefully selected cocktails. Although relatively pricey for the very small portion size of the 6-course Aegean degustation menu, all dishes were beautifully set and flavorful.

I had very high expectations for my dinner at Barozzi, which unfortunately were not as high as expected. Three main areas that made this experience a bit average was the size of the meal, the balance with price and level of service. First one, the size of the tasting menu was quite small, we both left with space craving a bit more food (like the scallop plates that has only 1 pice or a 1 spoon tartar). Secondly the balance of price vs their offer. Aa meal of +100 eur tends to have a supreme quality in all aspects and considering location where the price benchmark means more, it should even be more unique. Lastly the service, for a farm to table menu and chef deep work into constructing this dishes, the explanations when getting the plates were quite simple just naming the ingredients. Usually in places of this type of menu and prices, a lot more contect its given for a full experience beyond a meal.

While food look pretty. Most of the dishes has fundamental critical errors when eating. Makes a lot sense y why the restaurant was so empty on a Friday night. I sound like such a hater, but appearance cannot compensate for bad flavors. Spent $259+ after tip. Just spend that money on Elliniko, so much more worth it.

We had a wonderful experience at Barozzi. We both chose the 5 course meat set menu and it was truly memorable and delicious. Every dish was crafted with great detail and the flavors and textures were spot on. I also thought the wine selection was excellent and our cocktails were mixed perfectly. In addition to the beautiful setting everyone at the restaurant was extremely welcoming and kind. If you are a foodie like us and want fine modern dining in Greece this restaurant is a must!

Metaxi Mas offers delicious Greek food in a relaxing setting with views of the old town. It is a popular choice for locals and is highly recommended for a classic Greek meze dinner. The food is excellent, the atmosphere peaceful and the service warm and friendly.
My bf didn’t believe me when I said this is probably the best resto in Santorini until he got his lamb shank order. Best lamb I have ever tasted in my life. The cheese rolls were also superb but we had to suppress our appetite for the main course. They gave out free appetizers, raki and a dessert, and honestly only costed us half what we have been paying for the rest of the restaurants we ate at in Santorini. Definitely worth the drive to Pyrgos for this restaurant.

We came to Naxos last month in Oct just before the travel season was over~~it was more quiet the town and we can explore the many small alleys without jostling with other tourist and came across this restaurant.. lovely place for lunch and great food. Enjoyed all the recommended dish.. when we passed by at night it was brightly lighted and looks so cosy.

Excellent food! Horrendous service! We were looking for an authentic Greek Taverna in Naxos, and happened upon Metaxi Mas. We felt the authenticity, noticed the prices were very fair, so we gave it a shot. We were seated at 8:40pm and were not spoken to until 9:10pm. This was after numerous attempts at asking to order. We were continuously met with responses like "I am not your server". We ordered the Pastaccio to share and it was very delicious. By 9:40pm, I had my dish (Veal Chop), but my wife did not. She eventually received her Risotto roughly ten minutes later, which by that time, my dish had turned cold. We had kept a close eye on the tables around us, wondering if this was the same experience others were having, and it certainly seemed like the norm. Funny enough, most Greek speakers had no issues. We went as far as warning people who were waiting for new tables about the service and about the wait. It's clear this business needs to address this issue, especially knowing how busy high season can get. You'll get delicious and authentic food at Metaxi Mas, there's no doubt. Just be prepared to wait an inordinate amount of time to get it.

Best restaurant we tried in Naxos. We loved everything we ordered and the atmosphere of the place. Very kind and available staff, amazing food (I personally recommend the moussaka, the saganaki shrimps and the zucchini balls), not too high prices. If you visit Naxos, you must come there to experience the greek cuisine!

Average Taverna Greek food; didn’t think it was anything special. The tables were extremely cramped and the service was bad. Extra star for the shots on the house at the end! But the chewy octopus is unacceptable.

Quaint hidden gem that was referred to us by a friend. We sat outside under the moonlight. They served us complimentary Greek liquor as we sat down, and complimentary cheesecake for dessert. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but I highly recommend making reservations as it was busy. Wish I took more pics but was too excited.

I have traveled around Greece and food is always ‘alright’. Went to this restaurant because your website gave it above 4.5 stars. The worse food I had in my life, the worse service, the worse wait, only beautiful surrounding/ this is what makes it pretty but food in prison looks similar and tastes better in prison! For example look at the best thing on the menu there in my photo- spew on rice.

Best food you’ll have for the buck! The portions here are amazing whilst they don’t lack in taste at all! All the food is freshly made and you can taste the authenticity of the food. We ordered a vegetable with rice dish and also a goat in tomato sauce stew which both were amazing plus a Metaxi salad which is definitely a staple

We only tried one dish here, the stuffed calamari, and it's probably one of the tastiest dishes we've had in Greece so far (I'm not usually a big seafood fan). The beer was ice cold and served with chilled glasses - a very nice touch in this sweltering heat! Service was also very friendly.

One of my favourite spots in Naxos! Really friendly and helpful staff and the food is absolutely delicious! They serve traditional naxian dishes that taste like heaven! Nice music, cozy and warm environment, beautiful decoration! You're gonna love it for sure ❤️😍

Food was nice and felt like real authentic Greek setting down a small side street lined with tables. The price was decent for the traditional Greek dishes. There were alot of flies around when we were eating but couldn't fault the restaurant in any way for this. We also got a complimentary desert which was a nice touch compared to neighbouring restaurants here.
