Very nice hike but you have to be extremely careful. Luckily there are many points to stop and rest, but some parts feel too close to the cliff to comfort. I guess it also depends on how comfortable you are with heights

Really a great walk. It starts in Fira and you go all the way to Oia. Moderately difficult. I wore good sandals and was fine. You don’t need hiking boots. This is great for kids over 8 so they can use energy. Really amazing views you don’t see anywhere else. Go through several small towns and by the churches. We enjoyed it. Remember to get going by 8:30 or so.

We had a great time being served by Maria. The 5-course dinner with pairing was excellent, outstanding quality, and well served amount of food. It was hard to choose one wine to buy afterward (due to lack of space in our luggage)

An amazing experience!! Vassaltis became a favorite really quick after our first wine tasting. Our sommelie ambassador Artemis (the wine hunter) was trully phenomenal and so knowledgeable! She made our wine tasting a path of wine pleasure and her hospitality was unique and beyond expectations. Also Tasa was fabulous and sweet. The wine has a rich character but the staff made the whole atmosphere memorable.We will be back for sure and we highly recommend it to all travellers!

I don't like wine, but this tasting experience was phenomenal. We did the 5 wines with 5 pairings and a tour of the winery. What a great trip. The wines were fantastic. Paired with the exact type of food to bring out the best flavor in the wines. This is an absolute gem. Give it a try.

We did the 5 course dinner with the wine pairing and EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. It was hard choosing a favorite dish but I think the slow cooked sea bream and scallops were my favorite. I was worried that there wasn't going to be enough food but the four of us were stuff at the end. The five course meal is more seafood based (as expected since we are in Greece) but does include a course with beef. I forgot to take photos of all the courses bc I am a hungry monster but I highly recommend!

Highly recommended for a wine testing. We booked the testing in advance and got a very nice table on the terrace when arrived. We really enjoyed wine in such nice atmosphere.

I can highly recommend the lunch tasting menu at Vassaltis, it was indeed one of the best experiences on the island. Our server was very friendly and knowledgable.

We went for the Assyrtiko tasting experience (4 wines and 4 bites respectively). The wines were good; we most appreciated the "Gramina" wine which was offered second. The bites were good in a unique way, e.g. the smoked eel. It's a tad pricey, 40€ for wine tasting but individual tasting would be jolly expensive.

Excellent service. Maria was wonderful and very accommodating. Good to call ahead to see if they have room, but they were able to squeeze us in before an event and accommodate us. We enjoyed the 4 wines and 4 bites tasting and they also have other options for delicious tastings. We would definitely come back!

Sooo Vassaltis Vineyard is now on my list of favorite wineries to visit. The rarity of having good wine and good food at a winery is high. We were surprised during the tasting at how delicious the food was paired with the wines. The inside was spacious and had an open feel. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. Make sure to stop in if you have time on your travels.

We dined at Vassaltis, experiencing the degustation menu with matched wine pairing and absolutely loved it! Maria, our waitress was incredibly informative about the wines and food, and offered incredible service on top of it all! Meeting the chef was a highlight of whom we could express gratitude for the meal shaded. Overall a great dining and tasting experience, we highly recommend this to anyone looking for an intimate and memorable foodie experience

One of the traditional vineyards on Santorini is the Domaine Sigalas. It's located a 10 minutes drive from Oia. They have several options in their tasting flights, however bear in mind that most of the wine produced in Santorini is white and thus is most prevalent although there is a red group of wine to taste. You will get a good description of both the wine and the grapes from the staff. You will enjoy the wine with great views of the vineyard and the sea. In addition, they have a nice food menu, so you could easily spend a few hours here.

Great visit and the wines are really solid. Loved the setting were you sit among the vines. Best to make a reservation for tasting before you arrive. Some of the best wines you will find in Greece.

I had high expectations from this winery, in contrast it turned out to be my worst wine tasting experience ever. We visited the winery Thursday afternoon and there were few people already there. The lady at the reception was welcoming and friendly, no problems there. We scanned the menu and we decided to order the 100% Assyrtiko wine tasting. We were 2 adults so we ordered 2 times the same. The young lady who took the order did not even bother to propose to order 2 different options. When the wines arrived they were not in the right temperature but we did not complain. The young lady (whose by the way knowledge of wine seemed to be limited) told us quickly the lines she had memorised and left. After a while they brought us something to bite and to accompany the tasting but only one portion, even though we had ordered 2 packages. The wine was mediocre, I only really liked Nychteri, then Santorini barrel and 7 villages were also OK. Funny thing, that the lady came to ask what was our opinion, I didn't want to say anything bad so I said everything is OK, then she asked which one was our favourite and she left before I even completed my answer. My wife and I looked each other and laughed, then we decided to leave. The whole wine tasting lasted around 20 mins and we paid around 64€ (wine tasting packages, water, juice, tips). I understand that most wineries employ young boys and girls for the season, most of which are studying the subject, because they get paid less. However, for a wine lover, being able to carry out a small conversation is important. In my opinion all personnel (except the reception lady) are not up to the expected standard and believe me, I have visited many wineries in many different countries. 1 star, I regretted visiting the winery, I even regretted leaving a tip to the personnel. Mediocre wine and service.

We booked the volcano wine pairing for the Santorini wines. The pairing contained a lot of dry wines and fish dishes. We loved it. Our host gave a great lesson on how grapes are grown in Santorini and a beautiful breakdown of the flavor profiles of everything. Our only disappointment was there are limitations on where they can ship the wines. The US distributor only carries 2 of the 6 wines we had.

Amazing, must try experience if you’re in Santorini. Was familiar with their wines sold in NYC. The vineyard tour was insightful, cool to see such a different way of cultivating the grapes in crown shapes. The volcanic tour food pairing was delicious and complemented the wine, my favorites were the zucchini strawberry salad and the braised beef. Very friendly staff.

At Domaine Sigalas, the harmonious staff ensured a delightful wine dinner experience for my wife, our toddler, and me. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly seated adjacent to the vineyard where our toddler playfully roamed and sampled fresh grapes. To keep her engaged, we decided to move indoors. Inside, rather than choosing the wine pairing dinner, we opted for a bottle. Our waiter's expertise was evident as he seamlessly paired a bottle with our dinner. As our meal concluded and we desired a wine dessert drink, they graciously accommodated our request to relocate outside. The culinary mastery of the kitchen presented us with what we consider the finest meal we've had in Santorini. I wholeheartedly endorse Domaine Sigalas for a memorable dinner, and rest assured, they warmly accommodate children and any seating preferences.

The team at Domaine Singalas provided an amazing experience for my wife and I on a lovely afternoon in Santorini. We sat under a pergola that provided an escape from the wind and sun, while allowing for a ground level view of the vineyard. The food and service greatly exceeded the expectations, despite the fact that we regularly visit wine country in Northern California.

We visited the winery for their Volcano Diver's Wine Experience and it did not disappoint! We weren't sure what to expect from the wine tasting and pairings, but it exceeded expectations. Our guide/sommelier Lambrini was excellent. She explained the wine-making process from start to finish and explained the nuances that make Santorini wine so unique. Each wine we tasted was paired with a complementary dish and they were all delicious. We had a fresh zucchini salad, sea bass ceviche, fava with smoked eel, braised beef cheeks, and a cardamom ice cream for dessert. After the experience, we went inside the shop and had the pleasure of tasting some additional products. Would absolutely recommend visiting here if you are in Santorini!

Amazing experience! My husband and I did the volcano diver’s experience, which included a tour of the vineyard, education about the grapes indigenous to santorini, 5 wines, and a 5 course pairing. The entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience fun. We ordered multiple bottles to be shipped back to us in the US. Highly recommend!

My husband and I came here for the wine tasting and food pairing. We are still getting into wine so we cannot give an accurate review. We believe the wine was good and the food was surprisingly tasteful too! If you’re wanting to get away from the busy area of the villages, I would recommend coming here. Disappointed! Overpriced and not very good wine! We are avid wine enthusiasts and have visited many wineries around the world. We were not impressed with the wines at this place. The view was mediocre and it was superhot with no shade at all. We did two wine tasting flights and we were disappointed to say that several of the wines tasted the same. The food was mediocre too and overpriced. I would not recommend this winery. The only good thing was the sunset.

Alex was so welcoming and friendly. The place had some unique designs and decently priced too. We were allowed our own time to choose the pieces and Alex kindly helped us with her recommendations too. This shop is such a difference from other scam ones around which charge exuberant. A fantastic place, we returned every day and were always welcomed warmly by Alex and Andrea. Their jewellery is amazing and we have made multiple orders since returning to the UK and they have been so great in arranging things for us. When we return to Santorini, Mnemosyne will be our first stop.

Started off on the wrong foot - we were forgotten by the hostess who sat us down due to shift swaps. Fortunately, Giorgio who was very kind and knowledgeable came to attend to us. I had a decent experience here, would definitely say the quality of the wine is high and the techniques are very interesting (wines being fermented and kept in clay and concrete). We did the 7 wine tasting menu, and I must say that it went by very very quickly as they served two wines at once. I would agree with one of the reviews that the explanation of the wines are a little “read by the book” style and it felt very rushed but upon asking more about the wine, our host became very engaging and was sharing lots of insights/wine knowledge. Would recommend!

Nice wines... Nice food... And relatively fast service for a large group. We tasted 2 entry wines the assyrtiko and the rose... The white just as expected... The assyrtiko being a strong flavored grape the taste is obvious. The rosé is more mineral and for me, surprisingly balanced. I would rate it above the white. The sweet wine I do not rate... I do not genuinely appreciate this types of wine... A place to come back on a different day, so better wines in the list can be tasted...

Our dearest discovery in Santorini was Artemis Karamolegos Winery and its restaurant Aroma Avlis. First, we went there to eat, and because the food was so good and the service was irreproachable, we decided to book a cooking class. It was the best experience ever. We learned how to make an authentic Santorinian salad, and got to taste as many cherry tomatoes as we wanted. And their wine is excellent.

Fell in love with the wine there. Never had such delicious wine in my life😍. Everyone was so friendly. Phillipos and another guy gave our group a fantastic experience.

We came as a small group wine tour with our guide Konstantinos from Argyros. The hostess was wonderful and kept us engaged by asking us about smells and tastes. Very informative and courteous. We had a wonderful time and loved the wine.

The location is very cozy, beautiful view and well maintained. The staff are offering 5 stars service. However the food is ok but didn’t met our high expectations. It was just ok.

We decided to walk in this wonderful place and spent a couple hours enjoying the tasting menu (the roots selection with local varieties). We also had great greek cheese selections (from nearby islands) and nice desserts. Our waiter was very very kind and attentive. So happy we decided to visit this place and will recommend for those who enjoy a more cozy atmosphere and great local wine.

This is a must do. It was recommended by friends and I was not disappointed. The food was great! Instructors were friendly, informative and engagingly. We got an entire meal after sampling our own cooking. This is a great value also

Fantastic winery. Lots of space and real nice interior. We had a degustation od 3 types of wines - white, rose and red sweet wine plus little bites. If you like sweet wines, you will enjoy the Vinsante. Most probably best sweet wine I have ever tasted.

A perfectly fine winery. I have no complaints other than I wasn't wowed by anything there. There exist better options but there is nothing wrong with the place, I recommend a reservation as wine tours can fill the place up. Small warning, they give the wines one at a time (likely to avoid too many glasses) and sometimes take too long between glasses for some people, though you can likely signal the staff if needed. 4 stars because there is no tour of the winery itself and nothing special about the tasting (at least the 5 wine option)

Very good wine tasting, i highly recommend. We took the second one to taste the wine 34 and the Nykteromi, which are both excellent and show how this winery cares about testing many different methods for the vinification process to create wines with beautiful taste and unique personality. Besides, the terrace where the tasting takes place is beautiful, quiet, very cosy, and the staff is welcoming and provide precise explanation about the domain and the wines.
