Gothenburg Botanical Garden is a large botanical garden in the heart of Gothenburg, Sweden. With over 16,000 different species of plants, it's one of Scandinavias most popular attractions. The gardens offer a range of paths and greenhouses which are perfect to visit all year round.
Botaniska Trädgården i Göteborg. It's a botanical garden in Gothenburg with unique trees, flowers, birds, hills, waterfall, lake, greenhouse and an organic cafe. I had to wear a flower tiara to feel more in nature. :P It's one of the best experience I've had in Gothenburg, Sweden. I just love this place. Best part is, the entry is absolutely free for everyone. :D The area in total is 430 acres, of which most constitutes a nature reserve including the arboretum and here grow around 12,000 different species and cultivars in various parts of it. In the Greenhouses you will find about 4,000 various species and cultivars, including some 1,500 orchids, a remarkable travertine department and the rare Eastern Island Tree.

Beautiful botanical garden! Free entry. I came last time in winter and there was nothing, but this time I come in August, the garden is filled with numerous, various and colorful flowers, herbs and trees. The entrance is closed to the tram station, or you can go from Sahlgrenska hospital by walking. Love this place (in summer)😝
蕭紫均 — Google review
Absolutely beautiful! A lot of different kinds of trees and plants and the garden was much bigger than I expected. Since the main path is closed, it’s not very accessible right now. For me that was fine! Enjoyed my walk 🥰
Sara — Google review
One of the best botanical gardens I must say. It's very vast and peaceful. Have hundreds of plant varieties from different countries. Also this place is hardly crowded at any season so one can have ample amount of time exploring the garden. Toilets are installed at the entrance gate which are easy t access.
Sreevalli tweety — Google review
I recently visited Gothenburg Botanical Garden during the second week of April, and its serene beauty blew me away. The entrance greeted me with various flowers, although some were still waiting to bloom. The well-designed layout and upcoming renovations to the greenhouse promised an even better experience in the future. There is a shop near the entrance to buy souvenirs, seeds, and plants. The free entry with an option to donate 30 SEK was a nice touch. The peaceful environment, well-maintained pathways, and lush greenery made for a delightful stroll. The attention to detail in the garden's design and maintenance was evident. I can't wait to witness the garden in full bloom during the peak season.

Very beautiful garden 🪴 with a lot of places in it to explore. Enjoyed most with family and friends.

This is one of my favorite places in Gothenburg. I will for sure come back when it's summer time. They have different varieties of plants and flowers. You will be amazed how well maintained and well cared the plants are. You will enjoy reading the names of the plants and flowers and appreciate their beauty. It's such a big place so it's easy to spend whole day here. There's a trail that you can follow in the forest. We actually saw a red squirrel when we were here. It's very quite and such a relaxing place to take a short or long walk. They have a playground for your children as well. Such a perfect place for a Sunday picnic for the whole family. They also have a restaurant if you don't feel having a picnic here. You can also buy flowers and plants in the shop or they call it nursery. I actually bought different colors of tulips. This is one of the few places in Gothenburg that you shouldn't miss.
Ela Christensen — Google review
One of the gems of Göteborg. Rarely is this place overly crowded which makes it the perfect place to escape to. The gardens themselves are beautiful and the whole place has a relaxing and calm vibe. Tip: check out the viewing spot towards the back of the gardens. It's a little bit of a climb but it will give you phenomenal views over the west of the city. Tip #2: Combine your visit with a trip to Slottskogen across the road. Especially if you have kids, as you can take them to the petting zoo and playground. Making this double combo a very cheap but memorable day out.
Ben Walke — Google review
Perfect stay for family, singles, seniors, etc. When you come through the gate you find the toilets on the right side and the information and shop on the left. In the shop you can buy ice cream (this is a first stop for parents with kids). The garden ist full with lovely flowers and interesting and rare trees, like the japanese cake tree. You can take your time and take the best walk of your life there. The air smells unbelievably good - even my kids were surprised. There are a lot of areas to rest and eat. A small restaurant is also in the garden (there are toilets too).
Johanna Kadau — Google review
The place is wonderful and huge. It requires time to discover all the beautiful places in a day. Its a good place to take a long walk, yoga and for picnic. I was really amazed by the nature and atmosphere there.

This place is celebrating its 100 anniversary this year (2023). It is building new greenhouses, so not all of the garden is fully accessible and maintained. It has lovely walks around the grounds, a cafe and a shop. It has free access but a voluntary donation can be made.
Irma Sutton — Google review
It is a big garden with many types of plants from all around the world. It is beautiful. A good place for walking and enjoying a calm day with the family.

Beautiful and magical place - even if the weather is not perfect. Very well maintained and structured garden. Lots of explanations. Great to get lost on for hours. Many different areas and themes.

Lovely little restaurant here in the botanical guarden. A bit pricey though, so keep that in mind. However, you are of course paying for more than just the food. It is a lovely experience to be able to sit outside in such an environment. Furthermore, the food was also very tasty with generous portions. Lovely staff as well!

Specialty Museums
A subterranean hangar housing historic aircraft, photos, and a flight simulator is the home of Aeroseum in Goteborg, Sweden. Kids can explore the cockpit and play with the controls while learning about the dangers and horrors of the past during special tours in November and October. The Gunnebo house and gardens provide four themed tours for kids in November.
A very interesting museum In unique historically important venue. You have to already have a passing interest in aviation to visit here, but they have done well to provide a number of hands on and interactive displays for children (both big and small), such as the working radios in the aircraft and tower etc which were very popular with all the children when we visited.
Ashley Elliott — Google review
A great place for a history lesson or 500 of them. So much history and knowledge. There's something for everyone. It is mainly for Swedish Air Force, but it is also navy. And planes and helicopters from all over. Counter espionage and the Cold war era. There's a cafe where you can get some cold or hot meals. "Burgers" Kids can play inside fighter jets and helicopters. But do notice that it is underground like 30-50m under. Soo if you don't like confined spaces maybe this is not for you. It is open and a lot of space down under. But i still got that panic feeling. But in all fairness it was worth it.
Fredrik Ferdinandsson — Google review
Did not have any expectation before visit. But, overall enjoyed. Good pricing. Easily accessible by public transport.
Twilight Photo Gothenburg — Google review
This is one of the best places we visited in Sweden. ✈️ The Aeroseum is an amazing underground hangar, previous airbase in the middle of a field out of nowhere. If you enjoy fighter aircraft, making the decision to come here is a great one. Be prepared to allow at least half a day to stay. After almost an hour by bus to get here we confusingly walked down the path to meet 2 c-130 bodies and then a little stall where you can buy tickets. Beyond that is the hill that the hangar is H I D I N G in. if you are interested, you can fly a JA37 flight simulator, a piper simulator and if you are lucky and the instructor is there, an A310 simulator, please contact before visiting to check out the simulator options. There is a small cafeteria inside. There is a small airport nearby: Säve airport. The airport has helicopters which from the outside you can view from atop the hill. If you are into food and fashion, but not planes this is a no-go.
Rosa Kop — Google review
Aeroseum is a place where any age group can go watch and learn about different types of Fighter jet’s their history how they operate, Guides are brilliant and huge Respect to all the Soldiers/ Pilots/ Army you all are really the role models to each one of us as each and every aircraft that was in the aeroseum have it’s pride, honour and fighting spirit they are not just aircraft’s they are Beasts. It’s a different experience altogether. You gain good knowledge and learn lot of new things for sure, a must visit place for the people around Gothenburg, Sweden👍🏻
Its all about Food and Travel — Google review
It was a really cool experience. We didn’t know what to expect but it was certainly not this. There was such a big range of helicopters, jets and you could even fly in a simulator if you wanted. (Tip buy the tickets for the simulator in advance cause there is a big change that all the time slots are taken).
Keona Robert — Google review
It's a really interesting place to visit, take your kids if they are behaved. Don't forget to spend sometime looking on the outside stuff as well!
Daniel Zulato Dias de Moraes — Google review
Really worth the money! It’s an old underground bunker/military base and already this makes it very special. You can also sit inside some of the planes. Super interesting!
Florian Fußberger — Google review
Didn't know what to expect but was greatly surprised. Amazing location in an old bunker which seemed never ending. Display upon display of old aircraft, information posters and aircraft you can get in and interact with. Definitely worth a visit!

Must visit who are interested in Airplanes, Aviation, History of Swedish Strength in Aerospace & Airforce. Simulators are awesome Commercial Flight, Jet Fighters, Helicopters, Cessna.. Affordable tariff for simulation
Ram Prakash — Google review
Good place to visit if someone likes old jets and helicopters used by Swedish forces. It's an old hanger converted to a museum. The small section about spies is interesting. There is a small cafe inside where you buy fika and sandwiches at a reasonable price.
Sajjad Ahmed — Google review
One of the must visit place in Gothenburg is Aeroseum. Watching a fighter jet closely was my dream and to sit on it is even more pleasure. This place has loads of Jets, helicopter and gliders. Also they have simulators where you can actually fly the planes. My kids had blast and the don’t want to come out. It is located under a bunker so you get really a feeling of a defence personnel. Don’t worry if you are tired of your there is cafeteria and don’t forget to try Cinamon Bun it’s delicious. The place is bit remote so travelling is hassle you need to have a car or Taxi. There is a bus but in winter cold and snow avoid bus as it’s freezing.
Simply Flicks — Google review
As a tourist from India, the Aeroseum is a must see place at Sweden. There weren’t much tourists on the weekday I visited . A stunning museum under the rocks! A surprise to me. The security was friendly and share the story of how they dig the cave during ww2 and how they changed to museum. A fantabulous experience. Though I missed simulator due to lack of time. The cafeteria was good too with some souvenirs to buy!
RavindraKumar Palani — Google review
A surprising gem. A lot of cool cold war history as well as included or low cost hands on opportunities to interact with the exhibits. On the down side, many of exhibits are pretty beat up and missing significant parts of the aircraft. It's not the home of brilliantly restored aircraft so temper expectations.
Robert Wittwer — Google review
A fantastic museum! where you not only get educated, but many things can actually be touched and tried (both kids and adults). Don't forget to try the simulators. We only had two hours there, but we could have used much more time.
Troels Hauge Møbjerg — Google review
It is always wonderful to visit the museum with my boys. English is available, The spy cameras were interesting.
chenling chong — Google review
I searched for an interesting thing to do for the birthday of my son while travelling from Copenhagen to Oslo. We didn’t have high expectations and went in with little to no knowledge on what there was to see in the Aeroseum. We were very pleasantly surprised about the size of the collection, the variety and the depth of the information given. Even the location and its history was very interesting. There was a perfect balance between you-can-touch-this and you-can’t-touch-that, so people of all ages can enjoy this exhibition. And let’s be honest, who has never dreamed of sitting in a jet? It was great to roam around the place and get surprised with yet more interesting things at every turn. Not only are there aerospace-related items to see, but there is a whole hall dedicated to games and toys. And you can even make model planes, if you’re up for it. Even the bathrooms are worth a visit, since going there will make you pass through a hallway where there are other rooms to visit. And last but not least, the price for visiting is extremely reasonable. Apparently there is a section reserved for tickets that were bought in advance, so we recommend doing that. We wish we could have spent more time here, because we were nowhere near done seeing everything there is to see. All in all, we highly recommend visiting the Aeroseum!

Interesting collection of swedish military aircraft of the last 70 years and their history. It is even possible to sit in the cockpit of some of the shown aircraft.

Great aircraft and helicopter collection placed in a bunker. All examples of Swedish fighter aircraft from late forties up to modern times (Gripen 2nd prototype). Flight sim set up you can use for 150kr extra with partially functional cockpit is also a great thing to experience!

The Horticultural Society in Gothenburg is a beautiful and historic park that has been around for almost 200 years. It is a great place to go for a walk, relax, and enjoy the beautiful gardens and sculptures. The rose garden is especially famous, with over 4,000 roses that bloom brightly during the summer.
A breathtaking place especially in the late spring when a rose garden is in full blossom. Inside of the park there is a botanical garden and the entrance is free.

Recently been to Aarhus botanical garden (also free) and it doesn't compare. You don't have indicators at Palmhuset, some explanations just in swedish. All the place seemed crowded. A lot of closed buildings in the park..no functional toilet (out of season).. so what ? Good for a walk if you have more time but not on the list of priorities.

Great place to picnic specially if you don’t have the luxury of time to travel far from the city. It’s in the heart of Göteborg. The place was busy when we went there because of preparations for a concert the next day but still a good place to have your afternoon summer walk. The playground was a hit to the kids.

Good place to visit from the train station. See the free palm house in the green house. Great signs of Allah to make a person think. Alhamdulilah. Only 4 minutes from the train station. Lovely park with lots of things to see and do. There's a little free zoo with native Swedish animals. You can ride a pony for 20sek and a couple of sights that include an old water tower and a small house. There a couple of small lakes and plenty of places to eat and drink. A great place to visit for a day out as a solo traveller as I was, or for groups of friends or families. There is something for everyone here. The park is very big, so plenty of things to see and walks to be done. I was aware there were animals at the park but was pleasantly surprised to find seals, penguins, (you can get super close to these) also moose and other general farm animals. There are wide open areas for picnics, volleyball courts and cafes dotted around to stop for food and drinks. The landscape is a mix of planned nature and natural nature and is a lovely place to see.

Seafood restaurant
Catering food and drink supplier
This popular seafood restaurant has been serving up mouth-watering dishes like seafood platter and fishcakes for over 40 years. The menu features traditional dishes as well as innovative concepts like Bifångst (bycatch), which showcases interesting interpretations of discarded pieces of fish.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The staff was very friendly. Enjoyed an appetizer, entree and dessert!
Tammy Miller (TastyTraveler) — Google review
The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, beautifully decorated, the volume was low so we could talk normally. Wish it was a bit brighter inside, it was very dimly light. They have great staff there, very welcoming and attentive to all your needs. We tired the buffet, they gave us some bread and soup as starters which were really good. Afterwards we went and tried stuff from the buffet, most of it was good, but wished they had a bigger selection of seafood. Ordered two types of oysters Fine de Claire and I don’t remember what the other type was, but they tasted like oysters. You also got 3 types of condiments with the oysters. 25G Störkaviar: I personally do not see what the hype around caviar is, so I didn’t enjoy it that much. Also, the service was great at this place except for when I asked about the caviar. Our server asked if I meant the Kalixlöjrom when I had already stated I wanted the Störkaviar, I found it a bit odd (I asked for the more expensive alternative they had).

This is a high end place focused on fish. The seafood platters have a festive feel on your table and there are plenty of tables choosing them. The halibut was a bit overcooked, making it dry. Otherwise it was a pleasure here and just close your eyes when you get the bill.

Classy decor. Friendly and welcoming staff. Food was fantastic. My dinner partner had mussels and halibut, and I had the deluxe shellfish platter. Our waitress recommended a white wine that paired well with our selections. Dessert was excellent. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic business dinner here on a Monday evening! Beforehand, I was told that this place is one of Göteborg's "old classics." Well, that description does not do the place justice. Swedish restaurant
SK Mat & Människor is a contemporary bistro and wine bar with inventive modern takes on classic Scandinavian cuisine. It has been awarded a Michelin star, and the chef's attention to using local raw ingredients from Gothenburg makes it one of the city's finest restaurants. The open kitchen allows guests to see the chefs at work and make full use of the restaurant's tasting menus which can be enjoyed with wine pairings.
Food was quite good, have tried the 6 meals and paring there. Everything was good, nice food, tasty drink, super nice services! Especially like the beef oyster tartar. I liked everything, except the duck tart 😂 almost makes me want to puke from the thickness of fat and jam.

Delicious meal, cozy dinning environment, friendly staffs. It's a Michelin restaurant with nothing pretentious. They offer four course / six course menu. The cured halibut as the starter was a surprise. Baked apple with vanilla ice cream was very creative. It's a great restaurant for celebratory occasions.
Rebecca Zhang — Google review
The food was excellent, the recipes and ingredients absolutely delicious. Only things to improve: the dinner was very long and lacked pace. 3h+ in total, because of 30 minutes wait time between courses. Would have been better with less wait time and an opportunity to finish below 2h30 total if we wanted - like other tasting menus we experienced in Michelin starred restaurants. The non alcoholic pairing lacked a little fantasy and fresh ingredients. Still - congrats for the food and great restaurant

Amazing evening with cozy atmosphere and lovely staffs. We had 6 courses tasting menu and I really like the bread, even want to buy it home 😅 everything was absolutely perfect 👌🏻 deserve with michelin star. It was unforgettable experience for us to celebrate.
Fiona Phuong Bui — Google review
They are not flexible with accomodating food preferences even after you email them weeks in advance. They do not handle email communications, as it is a different part of the group that handles emails and reservations. Feels strange to use that as a reason when it is a Michelin star. Food was good, we wanted to do 6 course but because of time constraints we could do only 4 course and they were very particular about the time. Not sure how regular 6 course menus fit within the allotted time. Service was friendly but very very normal. Nothing more than a regular restaurant. Not a Michelin Star restaurant experience. Overall, food was good but did not feel like a Michelin star AT ALL.
Sudharshan Ravi — Google review
The dishes got better and better with every course and we did the wine pairing too. (We did the 4 course plus one supplement) Amazing texture and taste. Was lucky to get the chef in the house and he swung by our table for a little chat. Oscar our server for the evening was an absolute joy (knowledgeable on wines and had good recommendations when asked)!

I could feel the foods are well prepared but I’d say most of them are a little bit too strong for me. They need to work more on the balance! The non-alcoholic pairing with sour cherries and pear is good.

First experience in a Michelin star restaurant - absolutely speechless. Staff, servers and cooks were friendly, refreshingly young and professional. The open kitchen was a great view into their detailed work. We tried the 4 course menu with the wine pairings - incredible doesn't even describe it. This is a meal that will linger for a long time.

Alexander Kristiansson — Google review
We had an absolutely amazing evening at this restaurant, where we enjoyed the six course tasting menu. The service was great, the pacing perfect, and everything tasted fantastic. The ambiance is upscale, but relaxed, helped by laid-back, but proper, servers. A few of the course were presented by the chefs themselves, which was fun and interesting. We had a great table with a nice view of the open kitchen, which kept us entertained between courses. The wine pairings were varied and interesting, and at a level you'd expect at a restaurant of this caliber. Highly recommended!

Great service! I loved the food and the non alcoholic drink pairing was 🤤 really good. Perfect Michelin star restaurant. Deserves a second star 🌟✨!

We spent a wonderful evening here with the most delicious food. The different tastes were often surprising and always exquisite. The Wine and beer paring superb. Everything was just perfect and the staff absolutely excellent, warm and accommodating. We will come back when we are in Gothenburg.

Had a lovely birthday dinner here at the end of january. Loved the brioche bread and would have asked for 2nd serving if I had been hungrier:D My only small complaint is that Id have wanted the two desserts to showcase a bit more variety in texture and taste, they were really similar… but overall really pleased with the experience

I strongly recommend Bhoga! Everything was delicious and tasty. The waitresses were very nice and offered us a glass of champagne at the start. We took the 5 course menu and it was enough for dinner. We were completely full at the end. Very rich and very good quality. The little butter and homemade bread (Pita bread) were decent but not incredible.

A Michelin 1 Star restaurant in Gothenburg Services good. Food is also good. We ordered 5 courses dinner which is enough for us (there is starter on top of the 5 courses so it’s actually 6 courses dinner 😃) as we have small stomach! Worth the money spending 3,000 SEK for 3 persons including drinks which is quite reasonable😋

Absolutely amazing food and very nice staff. The prices are more than fair and I’m never again going to Göteborg without a visit to Bhoga⭐️ The atmosphere is very low-key, but the food is so tasteful and a mixture of local foods from the area. All in all 5/5

This is definitely one of the Michelin restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is absolutely delicious. The staff is very friendly and very professional. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I definitely enjoyed my date with my wife.

Really nice restaurant, we eat a nine dishes menu with a wine menu of nine glass.. the food was delicious, small dishes with extra love on each plate, all served and presented by two excellent waitresses @moggedog

9 course tasting menu. One of the best I've had. Went for a friend's birthday and she was reminded of her childhood at various points of the meal, because they used local foraged ingredients that she remembered!

Awesome experience. The food and preparation was excellent. The halibut truly exceptional. Wonderful to taste all the fresh and local flavors in their food. The service wonderful and thoughtful. Actually good value for a tasting menu of this quality. Definitely recommend you try.

Our first time at a Michelin restaurant, and I can see why they were given the rating here. Everything was incredible, from the dishes to the wine pairings with each of the courses. Our proteins were Hamachi, Turbot, Halibut & lamb.

Average. Not super impressed with their food or beverages. Both lacked virtuosity. However, they are very diligent about allergies and very accommodating. The wooden seating area is uncomfortable and require gymnastic skills to get in and out. The server was good.

We really enjoyed our evening at Bhoga. We had the 7 course menu with wine pairings. The courses were excellent, particularly the Norwegian fish with horseradish in a foam - knockout dish of the evening. We enjoyed the wines very much too. The service was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable about the dishes and the wines. We’d go back to Bhoga when we return to Gothenburg.

Oh my. This is a Guide Michelin restaurant with a really friendly feeling to it! I loved the service as much as the food! It's the kind of place where you think you go once - and then you actually want to go the next day again. I will definetely return! We had the 4 course meal and it's def. enough food to get full from it! However would love to try a larger one next time!

Excellent hospitality by the staff, superb wines and lovely food! The fallow deer and its belongings that came with the dish was really wonderful from start to finish, the meat just melted away in the mouth. All was accompanied by excellent wines that the sommelier picked out for each dish. There was also a really interesting appetizer in the beginning with carrots in small squares lying in a pure with a half-frozen herb that was milled on top, very delightful. The warm bread that was served was excellent also! If you have the opportunity to visit Thörnströms Kök, you should definitely go for it!

Awesome Michelin * food with amazing hospitality and a very knowledgeable staff. The breads were so good I finished the whole lot of them and Evina (I think) was quick to bring more.

A true must for anyone interested in tasting some of the best food in town. The menu offers both tasting options and a good à la carte selection. The wine list is very extensive but don't be shy and ask your waiter for recommendations, they're very firendly! Make sure to book a table well in advance since the place is quite popular. All in all, it's a clear choice for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion in style.

This is one of the true hidden gems of Gothenburg, if you really enjoy amazing food, great tastes and you want them combined with fantastic wine from small producers all over the world? Then this is your place. Ask for Emma when it comes to the wines, here energy, passion, knowledge just makes the dinner perfect. 5-stars all over!!! You need reservations so plan in time.

What can I say... as someone who's travelled a lot, lives in Paris and considers herself a foodie, this place is my favorite restaurant till date in the world! This, together with the fact that this is actually my first review ever, says a lot. Having dinner here (also on your own) is a bliss. Some of the chefs of 3 star restaurants I've been should take a cooking class here. ;-) Cuisine is original and refreshing with a great price/quality balance, lovely setting and great staff! Recommend!!

Interesting flavours, tiny portions, loads of bread served. Excellent service. But just not good enough to give 5 stars. I would rank this one in top 10 of Gothenburg. But not at number one.

An exceptional dining experience. All 8 courses were outstanding as was the service, from the pre-menu snack and beautiful bread, to the array of tasty biscuits served afterwards. The waiters were very friendly and down-to-earth and as you would expect, highly knowledgeable about the food and wine. Sometimes Michelin-starred restaurants can come with a certain attitude, but this restaurant was a delight from the moment entering to leaving, full and content four and a half hours later. Will be back on our next visit to Gothenburg!

What an experience: We had 4 courses in this amazing restaurant. Starting with a lovely greeting and great wine recommendations we were set for a great dinner. And it happened, from Croquettes via Tatar /Open Ravioli we then had fish and veggie mains. Lastly some blueberry... It was all amazing, the chefs understand how to put flavour of every component and create an indulgent experience. One of the best food experience for quite some time! Great place to have remarkable dinner!

Amazing service and food! Great rustic interior and casual, homely vibe. I had the lamb and it was so good. It’s also a really dog friendly restaurant, all the waiters came to say hi to our pup and even gave him his very own beef tartar topped with an egg yolk.

This quaint venue offers an intimate dining experience, where the attentive staff ensure every detail is communicated, even when the restaurant is at full capacity. Their extensive wine knowledge enhances the meal, with recommendations perfectly pairing with each dish, though I began with a gluten-free beer. While the cuisine is rich in flavor, some dishes may seem unbalanced. The langoustine starter, for example, was somewhat eclipsed by stronger flavors. I generally prefer a classic tartare where the meat shines as the main attraction. However, their version, which dissolves effortlessly against the palate, has its own charm. For those with non-celiac gluten sensitivity, this restaurant comes highly recommended for a memorable dining experience.

This was by far the best meal I had in Sweden and frankly, so long. To the chef of this fine establishment, you sir/ma'am should be a national Swedish treasure. Insanely good staff, food and cozy ambiance. We left feeling drunk on such delicious food.

I didn't really know what to expect when I decided to eat there. Was literally blown away by the quality of the food, the extraordinary taste and the perfect and kind service. The waiter's wine tipp did second the food perfectly. Highly recommended. Whenever you find the time and can book a table: eat there. They're awesome!

What an excellent dinner and time we had at Bord 27! Frederik warmly welcomed us and helped us with dinner and wine selections. Starting with the “donut” & continuing with the torched halibut we knew we were in for an epicurean treat. Our main entrees of cod and “rooster” were both equally delectable and inventive. Frederik’s wine choices complemented our dinners perfectly and the Rose hip and Clementine/Chocolate desserts ended our meal on grand notes. The cozy and charming restaurant added to our enjoyable evening — such an excellent time we had!

The food was just OK. We specifically went here after looking at the reviews but it was just meh. The fish was extremely salty, I wouldn’t recommend it. The beef tartare was alright. The dessert was awesome!

Made booking… didn’t regret. Was our nicer dinner while in Gothenburg. Worth it, great date night and food was delicious, and not as pricey as some of the other fine dining places in the area

What a gem! The food is amazing and they were SO friendly and accommodating of our food allergies. They were so knowledgeable about what allergies were in the food. If they had to remove something from the dish to make it allergen free, they replaced it with something else very thoughtfully and carefully to preserve the joy of the dish. The food was the best I've had in a long time and although I'm coeliac I didn't miss out at all for once. They even had a gluten free bread basket waiting when I arrived. I was touched. On top of that, the wine selection was incredible and nothing was too much trouble. I would eat here again without hesitation!

I went for “the bord 27 menu” and it was mindblowing combination. Culinary journey. Beef tartare amazing. Cod even better. What happened on this plate was…wow. And crème brulée - perfect finish. Music was nice. Not too loud. Service on the top level. Very cosy place! Highly recommend this place.

Amazing meal at Bord27! Favorites were the tuna appetizer, the beef & potatoes main and the strawberry & cream dessert. They can serve gluten free cracker bread at the start if you have someone with a gluten allergy. The service was impeccable too.

The best meal we had in Sweden. Our waiter was excellent and recommended some delicious wines to pair with the food. Every course was excellent; we had the savoury donut, croquettes, halibut, cod and the rose hip and blackberry for dessert. Couldn’t fault a thing.
