much bigger on the inside. Amazing tapestries, sculptures and history inside. surprisingly very brutal and calm. You always get great views of Milan from the roof too. It is always worth a visit, especially as renovation work is continuing. a must visit place in como!

Incredibly beautiful old Duomo. Sit in awe of The magnitude of this amazing structure. Everytime I'm in Como, I've spent a few moments in peace here. The glory of The olen days. Woozaa. Remember to touch The lucky frog on your way out.
Pietari Paloheimo — Google review
Beautiful cathedral in Como, in a good location. My husband and I ate at the restaurant in front of it, at evening, and we really enjoyed the tranquility of the place and the view.
Elena Stanculescu — Google review
It's an amazing marvel of engineering, steeped in rich history. It's amazing what they achieved. Paintings, stained glass, architectures, it's all wonderful. You always get great views of Milan from the roof too. It is always worth a visit, especially as renovation work is continuing. Grab tickets online and skip the queues. Book an hour in advance and check out the surrounding shops before you go in.

This is a beautiful church with a long history. The interior is free to enter but donations are welcome. More than most churches, you'll find a lot of panels and historical pieces showcasing the church. The context helps a lot and makes it a better learning experience. The outside is wonderfully detailed, but the best part is that you can interact with parts of the old foundation! A side of the church that was excavated is open for viewing, seating, and appreciation. It's a great stop on your way around town.
Michael Barton — Google review
Beautiful church in the heart of Como. The facade looks rather simple, but it is still magnificent. The interiors are well made, even if not too crowded. There is even a part of the church dedicated for people who want to think and pray. Definitely a nice stop if you are in town.
Andrea Larcan — Google review
Always a good place to visit when in Como old town.
swee leng Tan — Google review
The church is placed next to the museum with the "Last Supper" by Davinci. We were not able to enter because tickets were sold out for the next month (february).
Danilo Gonzalez — Google review
Free entrance! Also.. Look up! That ceiling definitely humbles you. Walking around the side of the back also allowed for a different and less crowded view. Central to Como town, this place seems to be a common rendezvous area for people to meet — locals and trousers alike. So, find a place near by to sit and have an afternoon apero and just enjoy the people-watching while you write your postcards! Do a quick wiki of this place before going. There’s some cool architectural snippets to be had. Good historical landmark!

Very impressive! The location is very nicely positioned, right next to the lake with the most amazing view. The lake has a really small area with sand and pebbles to sink your feet in the lake on a hot day. 🔥 Gets really busy in the summer and can get crowed.
Mary Xynogalas — Google review
Beautiful place to visit. Relax and enjoy.Along side lake. Surrounding Mountains, excellent beauty to see.
Mubasher Sian — Google review
It is an interesting building near the lake. It is a monument for the most famous son the the city, Alessandro Volta. It can be visited also from inside The locals are rightly proud of their favourite son and this is a fabulous little building to commemmorate him. It's only a short stroll along the front to reach it. Sadly, despite their being tourists everywhere in Como this week, someone decided that you could enter by appointment only and that this required two days notice. Dissappointing to say the least
Narender Kumar — Google review
The architecture of the museum is beautiful, but there is a bit of missed potential in terms of using this beautiful space.
Diana Dumitru — Google review
Very good but simple display of Volta's life and work. Quite an amazing inventor but also contributed a lot to public life. If you ask the staff they will provide you with an English translation sheet to borrow for each of the displays. Tickets are €5 at the door.
Cam Wayland — Google review
Tempio Voltiano Museum is a temple located north of the marina, along the coast. The impressive neoclassical building sits in the heart of beautiful green public gardens named after the temple. Inside the temple is a collection of Alessandro Volta's vessels and writings. Adjacent to the museum is an impressive monument to the memory of the victims of World War II.

Beautiful temple. I had quite some bad luck on the day of the visit. It was raining and I couldn't enjoy the site and it's surroundings quite like I wanted to.

Nice spot to relax on the shores of Como. Go behind to a small beach where swans like to hang out. Plenty of parking all around at reasonable cost.

Nice place for afternoon walk. Didnt get a chance to go inside but the garden surrounding the area is nice
Ellen Brigitta — Google review
The temple is at the very end of one of the "arms" of Como lake, which very beautiful! So only with that, you will have a great view! It's located in a small park with some green where there are always tourists passing by, locals walking with their kids, dogs, etc. There are some benches where you can enjoy the view, the weather and maybe do some reading as I did. :) I really enjoyed my time there and recommend in case you are in Como. Definitely worth it.

Villa Carlotta

Mentioned on
Museum
Nature & Parks
The Villa Carlotta museum houses one of the most renowned gardens in Italy. The garden was designed by Gian Battista Sommariva and is a reflection of reason surrounded by its more romantic counterpart, the flashy theater of the following century. The art collection inside the museum is renowned for its many works by famous artists such as Canova, David, and Throvaldsen.
Fantastic villa on the shore of Lake Como with stunning views across the lake from both the museum and the garden. This Villa contains superb gardens and an excellent museum of the villa itself. The museum is large with lots of room to move around. It also has lots of different rooms, art, artifacts and antiques to see but my favourite part was walking around the very large garden. Well worth a visit
Donald hood — Google review
Brilliant place to visit. They have two routes around the lovely gardens, one not so steep, and one fairly steep. But it was worth it for the views of Lake Como. They have a reasonable cafe, inside and out, with again lovely views. The villa(the museum) was ok
Jan Langford — Google review
Absolutely stunning! As a local even I was impressed by its absolutely beautiful gardens and the villa. The view is incredible and I have already been here several times and will always come back. It’s a 10/10 for me.
Aemilius Prinz — Google review
One of the best gardens I have ever visited! So beautiful and diverse! Try going in the morning so you have more time exploring as the garden is pretty big. It also has picnic spots so it’s a great place to spend a day on when visiting lake como. Has fantastic lake views, the villa itself is gorgeous, but the garden is a botanical one with many cool plants. Has a bamboo jungle which is magical. There’s free parking down the villa & there are elevators to take you up in the garden & upper floors of the villa, right outside of the villa in the south. Absolutely recommend a visit, so worth the price (15€ adults)
Gazella — Google review
One of the biggest and also most beautiful villas in the Lake Como area, with audio guides available and 2 suggested itineraries depending on whether you want a short walk around or a longer stroll in the garden. Definitely worth the visit, for all ages. It was also made wheelchair-accessible by the gentle slopes and lifts. Parking available along the road, both free and paid lots.
Li Ze Chai — Google review
Beautiful Villa, beautiful gardens and a lovely walk on a perfect spring day. The cafe and toilets were open. I would recommend 2-3 hours for a leisure walk around the gardens before finishing at the museum (which ends in the villa and gift shop). We parked 400mtrs before reaching the villa in a paid parking place which we were lucky to get some space in. There are some decent restaurants and places to eat walking distance from the villa. There is a ferry stop across the villa and that takes you to Bellagio (another beautiful place which is a must visit).
payal vishwanath — Google review
Very enchanting place that you could spend either a quick visit or all day; so much to experience and it’s all stunningly beautiful
Ian Peter Atkins — Google review
We loved this place! The garden was amazing with different species from all over the world. So cool that they are able to thrive in Italy due to the microclimates around Lake Como. The villa had beautiful views of the lake and offered many opportunities for great photos. The café inside had a decent selection of food and drinks, although slightly overpriced.
Carmelle Valles — Google review
Love it and hate it:) it was a great walk, very nice and scenic. Very poorly marked trying to exit. You need to really read the map as there is only one exit sign, and it's not at the exit. It is very confusing for most of the people there. Plan on about 4 hrs if you want to do the whole thing. There are signs that say 75 minutes for the full walk, maybe, probably not. Add an extra 30 minutes to find the exit. Think only 3 people work there, so you are on your own. Overall, it's a really great place with poor sinage.
Jim Villano — Google review
Gorgeous house and gardens to visit. Lovely artefacts in the museum and sculptures. The gardens are set in wonderful grounds, lots of it are not accessible for wheelchair users as it is very up and down. Wonderful plants and flowers carefully set out with a waterfall running down the hillside. Great views from all angles and photo opportunities. We visited on a very rainy day but this never spoilt our enjoyment. Would recommend a half day visit. It has toilets and a coffee shop.
HELEN CLEMENTS — Google review
Beautiful villa with huge well kept garden. It has some old furniture dating back to the old times but also a collection of cutlery and crockery which don’t relate to the families who once lived there. In that respect villa Necchi in Milan is far more interesting. If you visit in the afternoon the sun has turned and you can take beautiful pictures from the balcony of the lake scenery.
Is beautiful. My partner and I went without a ticket and after less than 5 minutes in line, we entered. The garden is the most beautiful thing I saw. Very spacious, it takes 1 hour to explore it. Then the museum is also very good to know how those owners lived from centuries ago.
María Belén Montañés — Google review
One of the most gorgeous villa on the Como lake. Fully suggest to all the tourist in order to spend a lovely afternoon. Best timing is in spring when all the gardens are full of flowers
manuel mandaglio — Google review
A memorable visit with stunning & immaculate gardens, and very well-signposted walking routes throughout the property with different options of different lengths. The house itself was impressive, but the gardens and views of the lake are the reason to visit. Would strongly recommend to anyone in the area!
Adam P — Google review
Beautiful house surrounded by gardens that seem to go on forever. Lovely, well laid out walks, that go from manicured to wild, but always jaw dropping in their beauty. Would love to visit again.
Brendan Rowe — Google review
Villa Carlotta is such a beautiful and peaceful place. The vast garden with the numerous flowers is absolutely breathtaking and the museum (inside of the Villa) is spacious and very lightning. I thought the place was smaller and that the visit would have been shorter but you have to take at least 45 min to 1 hour for the short visit (main garden tour and museum) and 1 hour 30 min to 2 hours for the big visit with all the garden. It is clean, not too crowdy and I believe that Spring time offers the best images with the colorful flowers and trees everywhere. Don't hesitate !
S?verine M — Google review
The grounds are nice, however not easy to walk with a child and not wheelchair or pushchair friendly. The main floor of the house is worth a quick visit but the other floors are not. The rooms are tiny and filled with minimal artifacts and furniture. Worth a visit if in the area but your not missing out on much if you view from the lake. The gardens are impressive from the Napoleon era.
Shiv P — Google review
The botanical garden is pretty and has some beautiful views. I was expecting to see a little but more, but it was very nice. Definitely wear sneakers, as there are a lot of rocks you will be walking on. It's right next to the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, so it's a very short walk and convenient.

We've been here several times photographing couples and we've always been impressed by the beautiful gardens and the elegant elements of the interiors. It really is a great combo of both. Super easy to reach by car or ferry, quite cheap and with a great number of different backgrounds for pictures. Yes, book your photoshoot here without doubting!

Amazing gardens, perfectly kept. We went on a rainy day and it was still beautiful and inside the villa is unbelievable. Highly recommend.
Oli Knight — Google review
The botanical garden is great. We have chosen the best time to visit when everything is in bloom.
Христина Линів — Google review
Despite the pouring rain during our visit to Villa Carlotta, the botanical garden's beauty was undiminished, offering a peaceful walk along the 75-minute trail, ending with the museum. The garden was the definite highlight, overshadowing the less impressive museum.

Villa Carlotta Gardens in Lake Como, Italy, is an absolute gem. The lush botanical paradise captivated me with its exquisite beauty. Strolling through the meticulously maintained gardens, I was surrounded by a stunning array of plants, flowers, and ancient trees. The view of Lake Como from the villa's terraces is simply breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop for a leisurely visit. The historical significance of Villa Carlotta, with its art collection and charming villa, adds depth to the experience. I was particularly moved by the art and sculptures on display, which offered a glimpse into the rich history of this place. Also nice: doga were allowed to enter the gardens for a nice family walk. The longest red route is about 1 hour.
Michael J. — Google review
Villa Carlotta is a lovely botanical garden with so many different varieties of plants. There is such diversity in the fauna and flora growing here. For example, they have a rhododendron section, a succulent and cactus garden, a fern garden, and so many others. The layout of this garden has been planned by a mastermind., and many walking past throughout the garden. The villa itself has beautiful architecture and art inside. A lovely little oasis right on the waterfront and very close to the water ferry drop off.

This impressive church is over a thousand years old and features beautiful frescoes and arches. It's one of the oldest churches in Como, and is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
One word for this Basilica... incredible! The Rev. Fr that walked us through the story of the basilica made it sound and look so lovely. I couldn't help but wonder how the love of God have greatly inspired the generation before us.

Beautiful, peaceful snd completely empty. Much more ancient than the grander Duomo in the centre of Como. There’s beautiful artwork too.
Helen Flanagan — Google review
Really lovely church ideal visit off the beaten track no toilet facilities but nearby quaint bar (to left of picture) around corner with helpful and super friendly owner Claudio.
l g — Google review
This is the second oldest church according to our guide. Unlike so many churches in Europe, which are often a mixture of various styles, here one finds quite a rather unaltered Romanesque construction. The Basilica, built in the 11th century over an even older church as has been found out by recent excavations, is aesthetically very pleasing - from the exterior as well as inside. There are also some wall paintings, although they date from the 14th century. In the middle are the relics of Saint Abbondio, a local bishop, and of two of his successors, rather unknown saints elsewhere. Next to the church is a courtyard, recently restored, which now gets used by the town's university
Emmanuel Ramirez — Google review
The church has seen better days, though the front is lovely. It is also nice to get out of the central tourist area. If you are lucky, they host concerts there with nice acoustics.

Locanda La Tirlindana is a family-owned Italian restaurant situated in a picturesque town square on the shores of Lake Como. The cuisine focuses on classic Italian dishes with an innovative twist, and the restaurant has an outdoor terrace with views of Comacina Island.
The ravioli with lemon and mascarpone cheese dish has been handmade with love since this restaurant opened and is worth traveling from New York City to experience. The beautiful setting in a cove was a bonus to the delicious food. Also of note: the duck ham and local cheese appetizer and the buckwheat pasta 👌🏻

The perch starter was beautifully plated and absolutely delicious! We ended up being here for dinner on their last night of the season, but there was absolutely no feeling of being rushed or of them in “shut down” mode. The service was attentive but not pushy, and we spent a solid 2 hours lingering over the delicious food and wine. The dining area was cozy and warm. Every dish was artfully plated and we savored every bite. I had the branzino- careful here as there were some bones. Hubby got the lamb chops with mint sauce. The sauce was tangy and not sweet. For dessert, we chose the homemade selection and finished every creamy, chocolatey, dreamy bite. We look forward to visiting again and again for years to come!

Locanda La Tirlindana is an excellent restaurant and I highly recommend, we were taken care of the minute we arrived with the perfect level of service. Inside is simple and atmospheric, fairly small but with few tables you have plenty space. The food is fantastic and really worth making a trip for, the restaurant was recommended to us and for good reason. I went for the selection of four homemade desserts and each one was delicious. An extensive wine menu, very happy with our choices but that's not down any expertise of mine i think you couldn't go wrong with their selection. If I return to Como I will make an effort to return here its well worth it.

Food is great, service was also very fast and friendly! Prices are on the expensive side, but still worth visiting (we spent 140€ in two people for one entry, two main, one desert and a bottle of sparkling wine).

Excellent food, wine, and service. The lemon and mascarpone ravioli was the best pasta I've ever eaten. They were very accommodating of our toddler. Location is lovely as well! Thank you for a memorable meal and evening!
Meg Pierce — Google review
Food is lovely, but wanted for more in the portion sizes, still feeling hungry after 3 courses, my peers the same. Atmosphere, the best and service prompt and friendly, but prices are too much for the small sizes. A few chips would of gone down well. House wine is very decent, regional varieties, red like a pinot and white like a voignier flavour, so recommend those. Fillet steak very nice. Needs more additional carbs, not expensive but defo would have helped satisfaction on a quantity basis.

The food is very good. Nice pastas and a good wine list. Service is spotty at best Beautiful setting on the dock.

Very nice restaurant with attentive service and good food. From the terrace tables, you give on directly to the lake with a beautiful view on the opposite shoreline. I had the lemon mascarpone raviolis to start followed by the fillet of sea bass with orange sauce - both extremely fresh and tasty, a must try on the menu that has many other delicious items including the tiramisu for dessert.

I recently dined in this Italian restaurant around Lake Como area, and I must say it was an superb culinary experience. The food was simply amazing, with every dish bursting with flavors. The fish was very fresh and delicious, and the risotto was a delight. The ambiance was equally delightful, in an almost 600 years old house that added to the overall experience. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, wine selections in their menu complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, this Italian restaurant in Lake Como left a lasting impression with its exceptional food. I highly recommend this place if you are looking something other than pasta and pizza while enjoying the Lake Como area

Wow. What a meal. We were a group of 3 and did two courses each and they let up share them all so it was basically a 3 course meal. Don’t skip dessert. All local food and really nice service. Worth making reservations. The place isn’t big.

Incredible food and great service! We came here for lunch at opening time to find room (can be quite busy even for lunch), and had a delicious meal. The waiter was super friendly and helpful with recommendations, pairing the wine/prosecco with the food we ordered. And everything, especially the complimentary homemade bread with olive oil was delicious! Even the desserts were special, we had a drowned rum and espresso in ice cream. Highly recommend this place :)

Sal Tantillo — Google review
We dined at 4 high end restaurants in Tremezzo and the food here was the best, particularly when you consider the prices we paid. The g&t was a work of art (€7, whereas we paid €20 for less elsewhere); good local wines are available by the carafe - €8 for 0.5 litres; and no cover charge despite the non-stop bread. The atmosphere just needs a little background music (preferably Italian). NB: There is no lake view here, just great food.
Charles Reid — Google review
Perfect dinner. The owner warns that the restaurant doesn’t offer food that would suit children but our 12 and 17-year old teenagers had a great meal. Maybe just because they don’t propose the usual pasta and pizza. A lot of care is given to special and local and organic ingredients and less usual combinations that work perfectly fine. There is no outdoor seating here but perfect for a rainy day or even when it’s too hot outside. You can even buy their olive oil, sauce, pasta etc.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of Antica Trattoria del Risorgimento around lake Como. A true gem of authentic regional food. Every selected product feels carefully selected. In particular, the fois gras is excellent.

This is a must visit restaurant at Lake Como. Definitely the top restaurant of our trip to Italy. The owners are very friendly and excited to share their cuisine. You can get here by C10 or an easy walk from the Lenno ferry terminal. Highlights of the meal are the bread sticks, foie gras, beef tartare and duck breast on the hot pebble. They also sell the amazing olive oil + salt for you to take home. Please reserve ahead by emailing them.

An incredible restaurant that could be Michelin rated based on the amazing tasting menu and service. For starters the beef bone marrow with focaccia and the beef tartare are must tries for carnivores. Afterwards, don’t miss out on duck breast on a hot river stone with a apricot mustard….it will blow you away! The wine list provides some great options from Lago di Como. Highly recommend and book in advance!

We were there at dinner time few tables were full, the placecis dimmly lit and can be romantic at times. A family of grown ups that wanted to eat a good service. My husband and I visited for our honeymoon in August 2022. When we arrived there was an issue with a reservation we made a few months in advance but staff saw to it that we had a table and were quickly seated. The view is outstanding and our meal was one of the best we had during our stay in Italy, let alone Como. Fresh caught fish and organic veggies from the garden were delicious as were the zucchini flowers! Next time we find ourselves in Italy, we will be sure to stop ❤️

Great spot with locally inspired food and amazing views. Our favorites were the two house pastas that were fresh and delicious, table side steak tartare and wood fire cooked veal chop. Luca was also able to recommend some very nice local wine. If you’re near Tremezzo, not to be missed.

We stayed in a panoramic lake view suite & ate at the restaurant. The view alone would have been worth it but it did not stop there. The owner personally welcomed us into the hotel before going to the local fish market for our fresh dinner that night. We felt as if we were staying at a relatives house with how clean, cozy and homey the suite was with all the amenities of a little apartment. We forewent all our plans to sit on our private balcony and enjoy the view. This was the last leg of our long trip so it even felt nice to make ourselves snacks and tea in the kitchen and enjoy a movie night with their living room Netflix account. Wish we stayed here longer as it was a place we immediately settled in to.

One of the best meals we had on our Lake Como trip. A very nice family run establishment. Great food and wine at pretty reasonable prices.
Tom Brander — Google review
Had one of our worst dinners (in Italy) here. Don’t get me wrong, some of the staff is nice, and the view is GORGEOUS. But never have I ever been offered a home made aperitif, and made to pay 44 EUR for it when the bill came. Service is not the best, never got served or asked for a drink after the aperitif. Our waiter was very arrogant and was only nice to American guests. When ordering mayonaise (or any dip) for our fries he started a rant on why Italians don’t serve mayo and ran off mid-conversation. An arrogant waiter isn’t something new in Italy, but this blew our minds and ruined our special evening. Food wise, the pasta is amazing, my fish was very dry and overcooked to the max. Don’t get the zucchini fries, we both got a stomach ache from them. Go there for the view, but not for the food or service.

Good food, bit slow at serving, expensive (~100USD/person). Specifically asked for gratuity in the end. Though nice atmosphere.

We celebrated my son's birthday. wanted to order champagne but the waiter forced Bellini on us. he did not warn that one glass of this muddy slurry costs 22 euros. .this is called cheating. the waiter is an obvious charlatan with experience. be careful. value for money does not match. our bill for 4 people is 420 euros. The portions are not big and the taste is mediocre. I do not recommend dining at this restaurant. but of course the view is not bad and the staff is friendly. .

I usually don't bother to write reviews, but now I have to speak up for others who'd have dinner here. As many others have written before us in the reviews it's sadly a tourist trap of sort. Wonderful place, great food but sadly the "offer of the day" and aperitif is way overpriced. 35€ for zucchini flowers as starters and 22€ for a glass of Bellini is a bit far fetched. Just these 3 items were half of the rest of our dinner's bill... Please! Rest of the prices are okay, but these ones are way beyond reason.

We just came from a amazing and very memorable meal, with an unbelievable view and atmosphere. I read many reviews focused on price and service. Let me say the service was excellent, they were accommodating and attentive. As far as price, you are paying for a phenomenal view and atmosphere. It was a perfect night and we had a table with a panoramic view of Lake Como. Tasteful food, a fine bottle of wine and a magical view of Lake Como as the sun set. What more can you ask for.

Have never stayed in the rooms, so no comment. Restaurant in 2018 & 2019 was very good and mostly catering to locals who knew how to reach the somewhat remote location. It was great food and the most breathtaking and wonderful view onto the lake. However, return visits in 2022 and 2023 we found the restaurant is catering to the nearby hotel tourists and encouraging larger groups where their conversation is more important than the food. Service is slipping and the kitchen can’t keep up, so quality is diminished. Such a shame for such a beautiful location, but we will not be back.

Beautiful views and tasty food, but would we go again? No. The reason is there are many restaurants in the area where the food and views are as good or even better but you don't feel 'ripped off', which is an unpleasant feeling. We are no strangers to fine dining and we were even expecting the restaurant to be expensive, but the problem is the expense isn't justified which is why one feels ripped off. 5 EUR cover charge for a very average almost stale bread basket and 30 EUR for the vegetarian starter are good examples of this...what?

Stunning food, fabulous setting and a glorious view. It was a bit rainy but that didn't detract at all. The service was superb and they even opened just for us to have lunch. Can't wait to return!

Stunning lake views and great food make this one of Tremezzo's top restaurants. The lake fish starter was huge and could easily feed 2 or 3 people. Main courses were beautifully cooked and presented, and there were fabulously steak options available. Somehow we managed to be a little forgotten by the charming serving team, but that may have been our fault rather than theirs, and it didn't stop them asking if we wanted to add a tip (not usual in Italy and hence a little cheeky). Cover charge was €5 per person but no bread sticks, and g&t without any lemon despite asking for some, was €20. NB: The restaurant is high up the mountain but there is ample free parking on site.

Seafood restaurant
A seafood restaurant in Como Lake, Locanda Dell'Isola Comacina is a charming and unique place to enjoy delicious seafood dishes. With a beautiful view of the lake and access only by boat, this location is an unforgettable experience.
We went here on our honeymoon and it was amazing! Good, service, atmosphere. All perfect. Is it actually closed??? I hope not! It has so much history!

Such a fantastic place with the friendliest staff. We rented a boat to tour the lake and docked for free at the island. The view and atmosphere are very hard to beat, and the food was delicious and refreshing. Give yourself a couple hours at least to have a proper time of your meal.

La Vita e Bella is a delicious, healthy eatery that specializes in salads with great dressing. The restaurant also offers vegan and gluten-free options, as well as outdoor seating. It's the perfect place to eat if you're looking for something fresh and nutritious.
High quality food, definitely recommend. Service is friendly, english no problem. Prices are fair, especially considering the quality of the food you get. Daily off-the-menu dishes are available too. Otherwise pasta's and a VERY large selection of salads. Portions are big, you will not leave hungry. All in all a great experience, definitely worth a visit! -edit- Went back in the evening for a salad. Still great service and great food! :)

Overall a nice place to eat. Very fast service, large menu. Unfortunately, lasagne was cooked before and then microwaved, which made it kinda dry and with very hard crust at the bottom. Salad and bowl were delicious. Staff is very friendly and nice. Overall we had a good experience.

Rude waitress and we got overcharged! We ordered one salad and one coffee which was a total of 12 euros but ended up paying 6 euros more because of their minimum charge which was not made clear when ordering/before ordering. The reason we only ordered one salad was because there were no vegetarian pasta options available which was very unfortunate to see. The grill salad we ordered was also very mediocre. Considering the good reviews we would expect it to be a lot better but it was severely lacking in quality. We felt like a burden the whole time we were there and we weren’t treated with kindness/friendly attitudes which we expected from a restaurant with such high ratings. Would not recommend!

Really really nice location with an innovative and young team. They are definitely worth a visit if you are into nice salads (over 50 variations) and good mediterranean/Italian food. We will definitely come back

Friday afternoon We waited like 15min to be seated. It was worth it because: - grilled salmon was absolutely divine! - 17€ - gnocchi with porcini mushrooms (not great, not terrible) - 18€ - Mexican salad - huge portion - 9.50€ All in all it was a great late lunch! Very delicious! I recommed!

This place was alright. Could've been better. Good location by the water. Girls weren't very attentive to us and food was average. Didn't appreciate the artificial crab meat in the paella, this was the 1st processed thing I had in any food in 15 days in Italy. Veal chop was good but grilled veggies were super bland. Cesar salad was nice and a good portion. Bruschetta flavor was very good but the the bread for it was super soggy. Paid about 60 euro for 2 ppl not getting any drinks just had us leaving a little disappointed. Wasn't bad but was expecting more based on previous reviews.

I would highly recommend this restaurant when visiting lake como! We were craving a meal like this on our vacation and it was a welcome treat to eat great quality food at great prices. Everything we ate was so fresh and flavourful. The service was excellent, everyone we interacted with was so friendly. We would definitely go back!

They have a huge salad menu but the pasta is amazing. We had the mussels, tagliatelle with fresh tomatoes and carbonara. All was amazing. We walked in without a reservation at 7p on Tuesday when they opened and got the only table. They turned away a constant stream of people without reservations. So go early or make a reservation

The ingredients were very fresh and good quality. I had the paella which was a generous portion and also very delicious, I really enjoyed it ! My mom had the octopus plate which she didn’t enjoy as much. We visited in December so it was easy to find a table with only a few more customers around us. Overall we enjoyed this restaurant, the waiter was very kind as well!

A very cosy place in a side street of downtown Como with a lake view in the outside seating. Contemporary interpretation of classics and international cuisine. Good price for aperitif as well. Strongly recommend the Melone ripieno (stuffed melon salad w/ very sweet, ripened melon, couscous, chicken and greens. A wide selection of deserts. Very well trained staff, quick service, however can be busy so would advise to book in advance. Special thanks to all the staff who served me (Sebastiano, Sara, Alessia and Olga)

Had a great experience at this restaurant, both with food and service. We ordered a pasta dish and a salad, both tasted fresh and delicious. We ate at a number of restaurants while visiting the region and they had the nicest staff by far. This makes all the difference, keep it up!

Good position close to the lake Good salad with Good Raw materials. Good staff even if an additional smile could be better apprecciated. Price not expensive in line with the competitors. Better to book a table for the dinner. Thank you!

Delicious! We showed up without a reservation but were given a seat in the cozy, rustic basement. It was hard to decide what to eat (so many choices - especially with salads) but one of us got a steak that was delicious and also came with the most delicious fried baby potatoes ever! He also enjoyed the IPA he ordered with the steak. Another one of us got the Insalata Nido Do Songino. It was a very generous size, presented beautifully and the fruit all tasted heavenly. The last dish we ordered was the Shepard's gnocchi which was also very fresh and tasty. We were all happy with our choices, and so full we barely made room for dessert, but we did. The apple pie cheesecake was great to share and very rich and creamy. Our server was friendly and helpful. We were looking for someplace that didn't offer the same dishes as everyone else and we found it here.

A great service but the food was served a bit slow. Excellent spaghetti and one of the best Tiramisu i have ever tried. The only meal I had in Como and it was worth it.

Great experience at this restaurant! The sliced beef salad was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly! One of my favourite restaurants in Como!

The food is ok, but not very tasty. Tagliolini mixed seafood didn’t have any sauce ( there was only 3 chery tomatoes). Lasagna was also dry, didn’t enjoy too much… In conclusion, the prices don’t fit the dish. Much money for average food.

Delicious and fresh food! They seems to always be busy and with good reason. So many great options and everything tasted fresh. Some of the best seafood past we had as well as the risotto. The bruschetta with anchovy was a great sharing item. Light staff but worth the wait and great service. It's right off the main center and accessible. Highly recommend. We got lucky with a table for two, but would recommend making a reservation in advance if possible.

Large portions, delicious and friendly. Just around the corner from the main drag. A bit light on staff, but it’s absolutely worth the pick! We had a group of 12 and they had no issue taking care of us with all food coming in the timely manner. Very delicious!
