Peaceful setting and very clean and tidy. Wine tasting experience is a must. Lovely BBQ on Saturday evening which we took away and ate in our motorhome. Will definitely return.

No light to toilets outside at night. No fire precautions on camp field sites especially should be one by the fire pit. Awful chemical smell going into toilets and bin room. No bins near fields had to carry. Dogs were in the field barking at night. Needs more cheaper on site food options they have a cafe not restraint! Toilets smelt of damp and chemical made me feel sick . Beautiful place but no clue as to how to run a campsite sorry
J Lushness — Google review
Unfortunately although we checked the opening times a few days before, on the afternoon that we arrived for my birthday treat, having driven some distance, the cafe, shop & wine tasting were closed as the lady was cleaning the cabins which seemed a bit odd during opening hours. Never mind, we will go again but ring before we leave. We buy from them on line & send hampers to friends during the year so we know it's good.

With beautifully restored bonded stores equipped with modern facilities, it is a hidden gem that showcases local history impressively.
Excellent little museum full of local items and plenty of things for the kids to have a go at, and the story room was great. Only thing is parking isn't great, but definitely worth a visit.

This outstanding museum would not be out of place in a large town or city. Pembrokeshire history and a trip down memory lane for older visitors!
Peter Flagg — Google review
It may be tucked away but this little Museum is well worth a visit... Part Museu. And part fabulous 2nd hand bookshop. Wander round, sit down, have a cuppa and start reading a book you think you might fancy.... If you still fancy it, buy it and take it home. Or maybe just stick around, buy it, read it and have more tea!!

Not easy to find, but it's like a tardis inside. So much history and fantastic displays. Must see

A cultural jewel in the back street of Narberth. Well presented and interpreted Museum objects lafgely focussing on local history but very interesting none the less and well worth a visit. Friendly volunteers/trustees and cafe.
Iwan Davies — Google review
When it is fully up and running it will be a very good place to visit but the exhibits at the moment are not very well explained. It also requires sign-posting from the centre of town.
anne smith — Google review
Love it, amazing books collection too, can't wait to visit again!
PhenoFonic Official — Google review
A lovely local museum which is reasonably priced. There was an interesting video to watch detailing the building and the significant people involved. Lots of artefacts to see and learn about. A few hands-on exhibits that were great for the children. As well as the enchanted forest area with dress up and a throne that told folktales. Well stocked bookshop and friendly staff.
Mrs Goodchild — Google review
Wonderful museum, and new and used bookstore. Local artwork available for sale as well. The staff are truly unique, beautiful people. I have never been treated so kindly without having to spend a cent. Narberth should be proud of what it has to offer.

Amazingly interesting museum telling the story of Narberth and it's place in the wider world. Fascinating exhibits recreate the history of life in the town and regular guest speakers enrich what is on offer. The well stocked bookshop and café are worth visiting even before moving upstairs to the exhibition area. Don't miss this gem.
Wyn Scourfield — Google review

Beautifully restored bonded stores with modern facilities. Fascinating interactive museum of local history with plenty of activities for children and adults. After your visit (entry is chargeable as this is a charity), you can browse the well stocked book shop and then sit and enjoy excellent coffee and cake in the cafe which is also filled with a huge collection of second hand books for sale! A hidden gem and well worth a visit.

Blue Lagoon Water Park (Open to Residents of Bluestone only)

Water & Amusement Parks
Indoor swimming pool
The Blue Lagoon Water Park is a complex that offers various water adventures such as rides, flumes, rapids rivers, and a wave machine. It also provides scuba lessons for those who want to explore underwater. The park is located within Bluestone National Park Resort and is surrounded by 500 acres of unspoilt countryside. The Nippers Cove area is dedicated to children under five years old where they can safely splash about in confidence.
What a beautiful holiday venue! Everything about it was perfect. It is fantastic for everyone and especially for young families. And the staff are the kindest and happiest people ever! It was very relaxed but had a lovely balance of feeling we were being well looked after but not intimidated by rules. I believe this reflected in those who were staying as everyone was happy and relaxed. This is a very special place and we will return!
Tina Hayward — Google review
Great fun for everyone. Changing room staff worked really hard keeping the cubicles as clean as they could. Lifeguards were really friendly and the pirates added lots of fun and splashing for the children. We took our 7 month daughter in and she didn't want to come back out. The girls running the mermaid school were full of enthusiasm and fun and our 7 year old loved it.
Richard Manley — Google review
Long weekend stay. The accommodation was great, golf carts are mind numbingly slow. Food is limited but the grill restaurant is good. The fast food on site is very average and expensive. Good kids activities and free things, the sky wires waa brilliant for the kids. Smokey's was like a bad kids school disco, dreadful food, not a BBQ, which you had to sing for but the staff and band tried to make it a fun night. The pool used to be the crowning jewel of the resort but looks tired and is starting to look old and ugly and in need of some updating. No cafe inside which is a huge mistake as if you don't swim there is nothing to do and it's uncomfortably hot in the dome. The changing rooms are disgusting, dirty floors etc and need cleaning every hour when busy.
Mart Aaron — Google review
We had a 4 day vacation (12 people in 4 lodges) The resort is excellent; plenty to do for all ages. Bars and restaurants on site get busy so need to book in advance. A buggy rental is a must for getting around as the site is huge and hilly. The accommodation was spacious, warm and comfortable. However, the cleanliness of the accommodation fell below the expected standard and the lack of lodge inventory meant we had inconsistencies across the four lodges as to what equipment and utensils we should of had. (Had the cleanliness of the lodges been better I would have given 5 stars 🌟 )
Phill Arneaud — Google review
Recent visit to Bluestone and we visited the Blue Lagoon Water Park a few times. Great pool for families especially with the toddler area. We found this very warm and fun for our little boy. The lazy river is always a bit hit with children and adults alike in our family. The changing rooms area could be looked at a bit differently. On the three separate occasions we visited, we found the floor to be quite dirty from mud and general grime. The lockers were a bit tired and some of the wristbands were broken. Overall, really great fun though! And warm enough for our 1.5 year old so it made the difference as we were able to enjoy the Blue Lagoon Water Park for longer!
Steph J — Google review
Whilst some parts are looking dated overall a clean and well staffed water park. Never felt too busy and at times only a few families using the pool. Plenty of lockers (although a few with no keys) and plenty of changing facilities. Would be nice to have a couple of costume spinners available.
Mark L — Google review
Nice place to take the little one, if you’re looking for a nice 25m stretch to hammer out some lengths then forget about it, this is a play pool, but a decent one. Nice warm baby pool, good main pool and other bits. The changing rooms are fine and have everything you need. The lockers are free, no need for a quid, etc. The building itself is a bit basic and some bits of maintenance of the pool are a bit hit and miss - large build us of grime of the tiles / missing tiles in general.
Adam Wilson — Google review
We love visiting bluestone but the pool is definitely not reflective of the increasing prices to stay there. Tiles, especially outside, look really grubby, brown stains look awful. Half of the showers not working and just looks tired, nothing has changed in years. Need to spend more money on the current facilities rather than building more lodges.
B Davies — Google review
The water park was great. All the kids loved it including my 6 year old. She was even able to ride all of the flumes and slides by herself. Which was a first for her. My autistic son loves the lazy river and my other sons lover the wave pool. The only reason I didn't give it 5 start is because I had booked 2 of my sons on to the board rider at the end of the swimming session. Our tickets were scanned and waver form all filled in when we entered the pool so they could just go along and que up. There was no one on hand and when I went to find out I was told it was off as it wasn't working. The boys were rather disappointed but had rock climbing booked for 40min later, so the rock climbing cheered them up and took away from the board rider not working. My daughter enjoyed the soft play while the boys done climbing. The cafe was rather small and limited with what it sells and i actually mistaken it for a costa as the sign advertising it was massive. All in all it was a great day. Parking was a bit of a pain as we're not from Swansea and trying to find was difficult as I'm not use to driving in such a big fast paced city.
Clair Foster — Google review
Great pool ft wave machine every half hour, lazy river and 3 indoor slides along with a big outdoor one. Slides quite fast for those adrenaline seekers!
Bianca Davies — Google review
Could do with a good refurbishment. The changing rooms are OK the lockers need new locks/keys. The main issue was the pool itself, the tiles around and in the pool need replacing or repairing, the amount missing in the pool was shocking. I picked two tiles off the bottom of the pool floor which were just moving around freely.
OL11ZAC — Google review
Very clean and tidy, water at a good temperature and the baby pool was warmer than the main pool which made it a lot better for babies, staff very helpful and friendly, didn't try the slides but looked as people were having fun,Also this activity is Free.
Sean Johnson — Google review
A very popular water park for all ages. Several water slides, wave operation every half hour, shower facilities with lockers available for clothes and valuables. Indoor and outdoor pools , several lifeguards on duty during opening hours. There is some poolside seating available.
gerald mottram — Google review
I love going here! As well as a lazy river and a wave machine that goes off every 30 minutes, there are also 4 slides, which are all lots of fun. When I last went to Bluestone it was open to the public so we always went in the morning when it was open to residents but now it's only residents (you need to scan your room key - it is free though). Changing rooms are clean as well as the toilets which are easily accessible from the pool. The lockers are free but will take your pound if you try to put one in. The gift shop sells lots of swimming equipment and also ice cream and drinks. There is also seating in the gift shop.
Freya Prescott — Google review
Good pool and slides, and kids still love it, but starting to feel a bit tired now.
G Ratcliffe — Google review
A great place to take Grandchildren swimming and messing around in the water. A few small areas have tiles missing, so some refurbishment would be good but no sharp edges to worry about.
Craig Jennings — Google review
Pool is great, water was cold but just above bearable. However yesterday 28th December 23. They sent out a text message saying the pool was closed early and could not be used for the rest of the day. The Blue lagoon is one of the key features of Bluestone so disappointed with this.
Martin Jones — Google review
Great place for everyone to enjoy! Three different pools, waterslides and even swimming classes for the little ones. Well worth the visit.
Jonathan Lucitt — Google review
Lovely place!. Kids abseloutly loved it here!. The wave pool is a big hit!. There are 2 jacuzzi's type hot pools one inside one outside. And a few slides which kept my 12 year old very amused!. And not forgetting the lazy river! Plenty of fun to be had here!. We stayed at bluestone resort so swimming was free.
Nicole Howard — Google review
Absolutely amazing. Alhough it was closed one day because of an accident in the pool so we ended up having to leave the resort to find other activities for the children who were so bored because of the rain

Ian Heaps

Nature & Parks
Ian Heaps - Premier Fisheries and School of Angling proved to be a great place for fishing enthusiasts, offering a variety of fish including Common and Mirror Carp, as well as Bream. The anglers present caught a total of 70 Carp, with the biggest catch being close to but not quite reaching the weight required for a "dub". Each angler was allowed one rod to use during their ten hour session from 8am to 8pm.
Beautiful spot. Ian was so helpful. We were novice fisher-folk and he spent literally about two hours with us, showing us how set up the reel and bait, how to use the bait and waiting with us as we had a go. Brilliant experience esp for us and our kids who had never fished.

What a day Carp fishing, 13 lovely Fish, mix of Common and Mirror and a cheeky little Bream. New PB of 14lb 2oz Common. Doug had 9 biggest was over 10bl and Le Touc (Josh) had 8 on his first ever day Carp fishing and his 1st was his biggest at 12lb 5oz. The Pro's Phil ,Grace and Lauren must have had 70 Carp between them with the biggest being his last at 19lb 8oz or there abouts, not quite a dub Phil but quality bit of fishing! £10 to Fish, 1 Rod per Angler, shop on site is great for bait, they loved the scoped pellets and flavoured Corn. 8am to 8pm and going home very happy, will be back soon I hope!

Just got back from a weekends fishing with the wife. Loved every minute. Stayed in a b&b right next to the lake. Lots of parking and an onsite tackle shop. Ian Heaps was on hand to give us some advice on what techniques to use. Ended up with around 30 carp ranging from 12lb to 22lb. The room we had was clean, included a full cooked breakfast with coffee. Food was clean and tasty. Thank you for the stay. Can't wait to go again :)

Lovely day out on the bank, thankyou to Ian for all his help today in the space of less than half an hour went from missing bites and a blank to having several fish in the net, these are just a few I caught on the pole near the margins on the Tench Lake, would reccomend and will be back again soon!

Fished at Ian Heaps Fishery last month for the first time. I must say I had 2 of my best days fishing in all the years I have fished (40yrs +) The first day I caught over 144lb of carp. Second day caught over 50lb+ and on the third day caught 205lb of carp and lost over 40 - 50lb on the same peg. I would recommend the fishery to anyone and will be going back next year (2021) Many thanks Ian to you and your team.

Narberth Castle is a crumbling ruin that was once very powerful, but now it's just a great place to visit if you love castle ruins.
Very nice place to visit, is pretty small but very beautiful and is free to visit
Daniel Ilie — Google review
Good little place to visit whilst in Narberth. No parking, no cost. It doesnt look like there's a castle there when you approach the street entrance. It's the ruins of an old castle at the bottom of a village. Interesting signposts with little information about the castle is all that is there amongst the ruins - we were the only people there when we visited on a sunny afternoon, which is quite a nice break from other tourist spots in the area.
Hayley Thomas — Google review
Worth a visit if you are in Narberth but would not go out of my way otherwise. Could do with a sign to give u directions as we was looking how to get in even tho we could see the castle from the street. Lucky for us we ran into a local who directed us. Dog poo let this down loads had to watch where we were walking and its obviously a local place for dog owners .

Didn't go to the castle we went down the high Street. Disappointed in my pork roll nothing to right home about, but further up the street was a wonderful cake shop the staff were brilliant and cakes were wonderful. Had a sit on the bench supply by the council then, walking back to the car park we found No 47 brilliant shop just my thing, lots of things to look at and hag on your walls
Valerie Makin — Google review
Thought this was a great ruin, you can make a lot out of it, a few good stories of it, The castle never changed hands throughout the Glyndŵr Rising in 1400–1415 and was slighted after being taken by Oliver Cromwell in the English Civil War. Excavations have found more than 20 graves on the north side dating from the 12th century to the 13th, hinting that the area may have once been the site of a church. Plenty of information boards around. The entrance for it was difficult to find, as it is beside a house and they park their cars in front of the entrance (wooden gate) and have put road signs in front of it to block it and staked on top of each other, there is no council or cadw sign saying the site is closed.
Pete / Hel — Google review
Very little left but still a fantastic visit could be kept better for its location
Dominic Fletton — Google review
There is little left of the ruined Castell/Castle, what is there though is easy to imagine it still stood there as you look through the old windows down on view before you, imagining the armies marching toward you from atop the opposite hill and down through the woods. Reading the plaques that have been plotted about the site it's easy to see life in the old ruins, I only wish there were. Although the grass is well kept I can't help feeling that this place has/is being neglected and used a walk through for shoppers more than anything else. Come on people! I know it's not a huge Castell/Castle but it's still of cultural importance and has many stories to tell or imagine. What about a small skirmish reenactment or a hobby horse making day with facepainting etc?
Scott Harrison — Google review
Stunning views across the estuary and a lovely tea shop can be found opposite.
Jess — Google review
Interesting old 11 century castle, within an old 17 century market town. Well worth a visit, as you have left some interesting remains. No entrance fee.
GhanaTourism1 WalesTourism1 — Google review
I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this historic site. The castle was a fantastic construction and what remains today bears testament to that. The site is easy to walk around and there are informative information boards at the site. The bad news is parking which is dreadful, and the entry point can easily be obscured by a parked white van or some other. We parked across the road and up a side street giving us a five minute walk. We tried to go in via the graveyard which was a mistake though the graveyard itself was quite interesting. We then walked past the entrance which is on a corner quite close to the road beside a house, it is easily mistaken for someones private drive especially when a vehicle is parked obscuring the entry point. So we ended up following a footpath which was quite pretty but a bit muddy and took us away from the site. It was with stubborn perseverence we finally gor in and I suspect many people may have given up. Once there I would say it was worth the effort and is a site to treasure.

The Coast Restaurant in Pembrokeshire is a stylish and relaxed place to enjoy excellent food from local farmers. The Michelin-starred chef Will Holland is in charge, and the views of the sea are stunning.
Fantastic services, staff gave us a warm welcome and were very attentive throughout the evening topping up our drinks and ensuring we were happy. The food was divine, thoroughly enjoyed trying the different flavours and textures the menu provided. They catered for both vegetarians and meat eaters, highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We just had the most beautiful meal at Coast. We opted for the 7 course tasting menu finished with cheese and followed by coffee. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere and setting was so relaxed and wonderful. Honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a very long time. Would not hesitate to return or to recommend Coast to anyone

Rita Bevan — Google review
Very nice restaurant with a very nice surroundings. We visited for our 1 year wedding anniversary meal in July 2022 and decided to have an "all out" fancy meal, because why not. First off, Food; We had the 7 course a-la-carte (was given a free course too so we had 8 courses in total) The food was very well presented, delicious and the waitress was very informative and knew the plates very well. My suggestion would be don't bother with the other option, just go for the 7 course, it's an extra £14 a head for I believe an extra 4 courses if I remember rightly? It's a no brainer. Drinks: They have an extensive wine menu, but we don't drink wine, so we cannot comment on whether the prices or options are any good, however we did drink a cocktail each which was very nice and I had a (local?) beer, we was given water for free too. The cocktails were nice BUT, and my only real gripe about the place which is why it only gets 4/5 instead of 5/5, there's not mamy options, what they have doesn't look "fancy" and are overpriced for what you have. £15 for a basic looking cocktail is something I can frown upon very much, they either need to increase the volume of the drink (at least double the size without adding ice) or just you know...make them more reasonably priced, knock a fiver off them guys if you're serving them like that! Being next to a beach as well, you'd think they'd like to have people coming up for a quick drink outside but at them prices I csnt imagine they get many repeat visitors for a quick drink after the beach. Grounds: The place is beautiful and unique in design, very aesthetically pleasing. Service: From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we felt very well looked after and attended to, the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. There was a table nearby why decided they would moan about the wait in-between food but honestly they were probably just people who like to moan or didn't like each others company. This is a place to relax with your loved one and take your time. We was there for I believe 2 hours - when you include tine before the first plate, drinks ordering etc that's really a nice reasonable time for 7 courses. Overall: Very beautiful place, Lovely staff, amazing food, drinks overpriced (were spending a lot here give us some respite guys!) Would HIGHLY recommend for a fancy pants nice for a special occasion, but for the love of all things humane, lower the cocktail prices.

Having eaten at The Beach House Oxwich I was looking forward to another fine dining experience at the Coast restaurant Saundersfoot. It's situated in a beautiful location and there's plenty of parking, but this is an additional £5 for all day. I was greeted by lovely gentleman, even though we were 30min late due to a car accident, there was no issue to seat us . We chose the 5 Course Taster Menu and every one was absolutely delicious. Was quite surprised that the bottle of water was charged as we were asked if we'd like still or sparkling as soon as we sat down, but was unaware this was a chargeable item. On top of the meal, we ordered a couple of Mocktails at £8 each and a coffee that was £5, again, great quality. The afternoon was very relaxed and not rushed, we were there for over 3hrs. Only disappointment was when paying for the meal. We had booked under an offer, which was a Blackfriday deal. This was 30% off the food. When the bill arrived, we had not received the discount. I had already heard a couple on another table raise this and their bill was recalculated. When I raised this with the waiter, he asked if we had the discount voucher. I stated there was no voucher, that the offer was on Facebook to book by 1st December and we had to attend by the 29th February. I had an email confirmation of the booking and the date it was booked. I did feel rather uncomfortable as I felt as though I was trying to pull a fast one. Considering we had spent over £120 after the discount on the meal, it did take a shine of what had been an enjoyable afternoon. The bill was eventually sorted and although the gentleman did not seem overly happy about this, I did leave a £15 tip for the service.

Amazing restaurant, food was delicious and service impeccable. Best course of the evening was dessert which was full of surprises on the palette when eating. Was a special occasion for us as we got engaged that evening. Coast gave us free champagne to celebrate. Thanks to all the team there for giving us a special evening.
Ian Edwards — Google review
Disappointed. We had the 3 course lunch. Amuse bouche: 1 chip on a bed of stones with some purée on top. Quite tasty. But what follows did not live up to it. Starters: lamb was cooked nicely but accompanying peas and sauce were tart. Not very complimentary taste. Tomato and cheese - nothing special. Main: chicken with some sort of crust. Not very nice. Tasted like crushed spicy rice cracker. Chicken was bland. No flavour. Fish dish was plaice and mussels. Fish was plain with little taste and too much salt. Dessert: dandelion cream was very good with ice cream. Cheese was ok. 2 out if 3 cheese were very tasty. The Welsh Brie was bland. The jam was way too strong taste - over powering. Drinks: 2 glasses of Prosecco- very good but £9 each and 1 bottle of sparkling water. Restaurant was tired inside with wooden floor. Waitress wearing heels meant you always knew when food was coming as you could hear her from the kitchen stomping through :) not sure if I can add the video. (Can’t) the starter dishes were too deep - you could not eat without sticking your arms out like a chicken :( Summary. Overpriced, (£120 for 2) lacking in flavour. Would not recommend or return

Came on a Friday evening to celebrate my birthday and thought the food and wine was delicious. Setting is wonderful overlooking the sea, - I would say it’s better sitting on the lower half than the upper half with both of you / your party facing the sea. Would recommend as a treat!

Visited for lunch on a Saturday. Great weather so sat outside with brilliant view of coppet hall beach. Service as you would expect from a Michelin guide/aa rosette restaurant. Great choice of wine which was not absurdly priced like some fine dining places we've been to. Selected the 3 course lunch menu and ingredients were local and cooked fantastically well. Couldn't have asked for a nicer meal, just wish we'd been here sooner.

Excellent location, superb service, and truly excellent 5 course tasting menu. A real surprise and a treat. Fantastic views from the table.

We visited as a family treat a while ago, whilst the location is fabulous, unfortunately the food and service was not. I understand they plan a more customer focused menu, presumably that means more choice, good idea. I question the need to change the name from “Coast” to something Welsh which locals and visitors will have difficulty pronouncing let alone understanding. Not withstanding I hope it’s a success.

I didn't know they have just got Michelin 2018. I just decide to have lunch there because it's on my way. But it's big surprise when I saw the Michelin star at door. I think wow.. It's so good. And yes, they have supper awesome dishes. Just only one problem that is my stomach is not big enough to try all their menu. I must back one more time to take more dishes in their menu. I never rate any place or restaurant 5 stars. And this is the first one. Food very good, staff very good, view very good. Really really worth for every penny you spend in this restaurant

Ascending the hill from the shore will lead you to Pointz Castle Ice Cream, where they produce delectable ice cream right on their farm.
Found this place by recommendation as not sign posted from the main road. A farm based ice cream outlet with a lovely converted barn ice cream, tea and cakes shop. Also has an outside seating area with bench tables. Has clean toilets. Car parking is limited. The ice cream is delicious and so many flavours. They also do take home tubs. If you love ice cream don't miss this place.

The ice cream is great, not huge choice of flavours but still decent and sour cherry amaretto is amazing. Why three stars? The lady serving ice cream was obviously trying to get rid of customers. The other lady offered sample tasting to the other customer, I was not. When I asked for it (because I can see they offer samples), I got this big sigh and eyes rolling as if it was a massive favour to ask for. Also, there is a playground next to the parlour and the farm. There seems to be no notice if it is closed or open and the access is either through a barn or a field. Poor health and safety markings overall. But, as I said, if you just want to grab an ice cream, it's worth it.

Brilliant little stop off for a lovely ice cream, good measure too. Would certainly recommend calling in for a chillout break, sadly for us we chose a poor weather day but it is still ice cream isn't it! 🙂

Maybe my expectations were high but I have eaten much better ice-cream before. We bought two 450ml cups of plain and strawberry. It was too much sweetie and missing creamy taste.

Turned up with 32 people, and they got us served in no time at all. Lovely location, friendly staff, and most importantly an amazing selection of delicious ice cream. Don’t miss this gem.

We stumbled upon this place on driving past and thought we would have a ice-cream, being warm and all that. I have had a fare few ice-cream's in my time but I must say this was the best ice-cream I have ever tasted, that much so we had to go back the day after just to make sure and yep the best. And reasonably priced aswell. Would recommend this place and would definitely call in again when were in the area.

Absolutely Delicious!!! Best ice cream ever tasted. So many delicious flavours to choose from…what a hidden Gem. Well worth the visit . Excellent COVID practice, plenty space, sanitiser, masks , only 2 in at a time, with a one way system. Excellent price, Huge Double scoop waffle cone £3.50. (2021) We had lemon meringue and lime cheesecake and Crunchie and salted caramel. 😋❤️😋 Lovely Staff and very friendly. My new favourite place ❤️ Even the Dogs had one to share too! Visited again yesterday September 2023 still as delicious. I had Eaton mess and Vanilla and Mike had crème brûlée and sea salted caramel. Best ice cream ever .

Great icecream! Lovely flavours, lovely staff. We had a cup with two scoops which were very big, not that that's a bad thing, but just so you know 😂

Fabulous tasting icecream with lots of lovely flavours. Sadly let down by a young lady who didn't appear to be interested in answering a question in regard to whether they sold frozen icecream to take away. She didn't actually tut, but by her attitude she may have done so.On checking the website once home I found the information I'd requested of her .

Honestly this was the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my entire life! Highly recommend, I’m going back again today to try some more flavours.

Lovely ice cream served on the farm to eat in or take away. Good range of flavours. Friendly staff. Expect queues as it’s popular.

Excellent Gelato from the farms own cows & coffee. It's in a lovely spot. Cafe inside has a nice atmosphere & plenty of seating outside. It's a good all-weather stop. Plenty of choice for a coeliac GF. They're dog friendly No photo of Gelato as it was too nice to wait!

Fantastic ice cream in a large selection of flavours. Indoor seating in a large spacious cafe. Outdoor seating also available. Dog friendly. They serve hot drinks as well. Large waffle cone with two generous scoops was £4.50 but other sizes of cones and tubs available. Very friendly staff. Hard to drive past without pulling in every time! 🍦

Fish and seafood restaurant
The Shed Fish & Chip Bistro in Porthgain, Wales is a relaxed and casual restaurant that specializes in locally caught fish and shellfish. They pride themselves on delivering fresh seafood daily and cooking it without any unnecessary complexity. While they initially aimed to be a high-end seafood establishment, they quickly realized that customers prefer the classic fish and chips. However, their version of this traditional dish is far from ordinary, offering options like John Dory and monkfish alongside chips made from local potatoes.
Really really good experience. So glad we chose to come here for mum's 60th. I had the haddock and chips, it was absolutely excellent. Will definitely return! Thanks.

Delicious fresh food and super friendly service! I especially recommend the Hake special, prawns, scallops and monkfish tails. Their cream tea and cakes are lovely too. Thank you very much for accommodating us at the last minute. We had a wonderful experience here!

Wow, we were recommended this place and it totally lived up to expectations. Warm and happy greeting by the staff - accommodated us although we didn’t have a booking (mid-week, off season). Service was quick and attentive. The food was fabulous! Couldn’t resist the fresh specials of plaice with samphire and capers, and halibut steak with Mediterranean bean and vegetable cassoulet. Both were top notch and highly recommended. We’ll definitely return, thanks!

Lovely fish and chips! We had a take away as no places were left for eating in, but they have tables outside for take aways. So a dinner with a view of the harbour!
Agnes Belle — Google review
An amazing seafood bistro which has a ‘catch of the day’ beautifully cooked. You can choose from a simple or a la carte menu . Run by a local fisherman. On a sunny day choose to sit outside by the scenic harbour or otherwise you can sit upstairs ( lots of art to take in from local artists) or downstairs with a view of the harbour again. We came in February and it was busy so advise booking in the summer months. You can stop by too just for coffee and cake but highly recommended.

For the past 4 years we’ve come here and had a takeaway - it’s so good! For the first time this year we came and sat in. It was lush, lovely decor, friendly service and a delicious menu. Highly recommend after a good walk across the cliffs 🌊

What a wonderful find during our visit in Wales nearly missed we were told about it by my sister in law whom residing in south Africa we saw the message and we were 1.5 miles away by blue lagoon. Great place hot prawns served here the correct way for us will defo go back. Delicious.

Had one of the best fish and chips of my life here. Locally caught fish of the day (both monkfish and Whiting) were both exquisite. The monkfish literally melted in the mouth it was so smooth. The waiter was engaging, polite and knowledgable. Really enjoyable experience

Wow, what a fantastic place to eat. Right beside the harbour, a very quaint little area. But a popular place for walkers and cyclists. We booked a table and got there a bit earlier and they had our table ready to welcome us in. The girls were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. Lots of delicious 😋 choices. Would have been great if they had more non-alcoholic drinks to choose. Things to note down, car parking is free here but pleased we got here early because it was limited and no dogs are allowed inside.

Superb from start to finish. Excellent service and attentive staff. The menu was excellent 👌 The food absolutely first class. Really enjoyed our evening as celebrated a special occasion together ❤️. Pre book as its a gem of a find and very popular. The take away food looked superb too.

I can not rate this place higher. We had a busy day walking the coast and had not booked but the owner was so accommodating, letting us sit in with drinks till evening service . The fish was delicious I had scallops and my partner had haddock. It's great for kids aswell as our son was also with us. Will return if ever in area but would suggest to book ahead.

Had a lovely ‘catch of the day’ lunch. The staff were very friendly and obliging. The service was quick and the food was excellent. Best fish and chips we’ve had in years. Our half portions were plenty big enough for us and excellent value. Would recommend and would definitely eat there again.

Absolutely beautiful cod and chips at the shed. We had a French lady serving us who has been here for 27 years. Very quick service. What a beautiful part of the world. I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Great fish and chips with a lovely Greek salad. Eaten on the green in the sunshine listening to the live music at the local pub with a lovely atmosphere of gentle evening harbour seaside hustle and bustle. Definitely worth a visit . The blue lagoon is a short coastal walk away.

Tasty fish and chips, average size portion. Lovely crispy chips. These were 10/10 fish fresh and perfectly cooked. Rather expensive at £11.95 for cod and chips but netherless very good fish and chips and worth the visit.

We were told to go here by the owner of the b&b we are staying in, he described this place as the best fish and chips he’s ever had bar none, so we knew we had to try it. It did not disappoint!! The fish was fresh and delicious, the batter crisp and flavorful, made with local beer. The chips were lovely and crisp, with a rich potato flavor. None of the dirty dry oil taste you can sometimes get. We also tried the marinated anchovies and a Greek salad and couldn’t fault a thing. The salad was fresh with a generous helping of cheese and olives, and the anchovies were nice and sharp with a refreshing tang and mild fishy flavor. Can’t wait to come back!

The Haven Brasserie offers an incredible dining experience with scrumptious and exquisitely presented food. The texture combinations and bold flavors make every mouthful a delight. The warm atmosphere and excellent service add to the overall experience, surpassing even Michelin Star restaurants. It's recommended to book in advance due to its popularity. Dishes like cod, hake kiev, mackerel, brownie, and apple crumble tart are highly praised for their deliciousness and exquisite presentation.
The finest restaurant experience I've had in a very long time. The staff are excellent. The food was second to none. I'll not hesitate to recommend and will return again in the future 👌🏼

I only can recommend this place! Food is delicious and don’t get fooled by thinking you get regular pub food - no it’s served very nicely and taste fantastic! Had the cod and my wife the lamb. What a treat!

I cannot get over how PHENOMENAL this place is. The atmosphere is gorgeous. So safe with covid - the loveliest masked waitresses I've had in ages. The food was superb- and this is coming from a picky vegan who doesn't like mushrooms and is severely allergic to nuts. Felt so safe. I can't even imagine how spectacular the view must be while you eat looking out over the sea. A perfect location with perfect service and perfect food (HUGE COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF). A SOLID 11/10

Being on holiday here my husband and I wanted to find a place for lunch and driving round the coast road we found this little piece of heaven - we hadn’t booked but the lovely ladies found us a table for 2. We had the best fish and chips we have ever eaten- amazing!! Such a little gem and we’ll be back - well worth the trip and excellent value .

The food is absolutely incredible; so scrumptious and exquisitely presented I asked two waiters if we could meet the chef! The food was very thought through. Fantastic texture combinations; the flavours were bold and every mouthful as mouth-watering as the last. Not only were we impressed by the quality of food, but the excellence of service and warm atmosphere. We have eaten in Michelin Star restaurants, yet the 'Haven Brasserie' experience topped them all! A lovely and welcoming surprise. A diamond in a diamond! 100% worthy of a Michelin Star!

We visited The Haven whilst on holiday here to celebrate a birthday. The 3 stars mainly reflects the slightly inflated prices we felt for the dishes we had, not so much the quality. I had a beautiful starter of smoked salmon, served with baby pickles and gherkins followed by Hake and side dishes which had to be ordered as extras. My husband had the pate which was quite small followed by the fish pie which was OK he said but again not the most filling for the price. When it came to desserts, my chocolate fondant like dish hadn't turned out right the first time so the chef cooked it again and we were informed of the delay which was fine. Unfortunately, my husband had ordered 2 scoops, well, 2 very small quenelles shall I say of ice cream which must have been plated for some time as they were the consistency of cream. It is situated on the coast but unfortunately we were too late in booking to get a seat at the front so we were through the back with quite a loud group. The seats were also very hard and quite uncomfortable, a cushion would have been a nice addition. I always try to leave a true review and the quality was not in question nor was the service which was excellent, we both just felt it was a bit expensive for the portion size. The following night we dined at The Wild Emporium in St Davids which was beyond exceptional, £45 for a generous 6 course taster meal and could not have been a better evening.

The Runwayskiln restaurant is a great place to enjoy a meal, with delicious food and excellent service. The setting on the beach is perfect, and the dogs are very welcome.
My girlfriend booked us at the Runwayskiln before we did a stunning cliff top walk. This was my first visit to Wales and it started off with the most amazing lunch. Super tasty food. Staff were so lovely and welcoming too, I look forward to coming back at some point…

The food was great and the service 5 starts! I asked for the burger without the bun and without chips and the lovely waitress asked me if it was allergy or just preference. I told her I am a bit gluten intolerant and she offered me the gluten free bread. She was careful as well to ask if I wanted dressing and sauces and made sure everything was nice for me. The Algerian Love cake was especially tasty, I super recommend it!

Very friendly and efficient service. Love the vibe of the space. If seated near the windows, you can look at sheep go by. Food is basic but so yummy. Hot White chocolate is utterly delicious.

What a jem we come across this place on our travels of wales. This place is incredible 10/10 for location, food and service. The old farm court yard offers Ice creams, coffee, drinks and snacks with plenty of seating if you wish for a quick visit. The restaurant has seating inside and outside offering stunning coastline views. The Food was incredible and the menu has great choice, fresh and local. The drinks also. Its recommended to phone and reserve seating for lunch and dinner. This place is popular and busy but they do take walk ins and it's worth the wait.

Hearty, quality lunch with helpful, engaging and humorous staff. Would suggest booking as they were full by 12:30 on a weekday in February (no bookings in the summer). Lamb cawl was the special and packed with flavour, whilst the pork tacos were also impressive. We had to leave room for cake due to the array available - settled on the carrot cake which did not disappoint. We ended up taking away two more slices for afternoon tea later.

Wow what a place. Not only situated on one of the most amazing bits of coastline in the UK. It is a laid back delight of a rest bite. Local fresh food. Cooked to perfection and affordably priced. There is a passion here and it's in everyone I met who worked here and in the food. Cannot reccomend this place enough... its honest, fair and tasty. Great outdoor and indoor seating. Water for dogs. Huge selection of drinks and delicious food. Have a great day on the beach and walk up to have lunch. Go back to the beach and fall asleep. Doesn't get much better than this...

Stopped in for lunch after a wander around the coast path, had a fantastically greedy lunch of slow roast pork with lentil salad and a side of chips. Great choice on the menu and left exceptionally full and happy. Lovely outside area looking out over the fields to the sea. No longer taking bookings like they used to and seems to work well! Will definitely be back when we return to lovely Pembrokeshire.

I come to Marloes about once a month and always try to get to runwayskiln as much as possible because the food is just incredible, the people are lovely and location always amazing, even in the rain. It’s an absolute gem of a place, my favourite out there! Highly recommend the chowder, the tacos and the chips and cakes of course!

Unbelievable. Loved it. Spectacular. Only took a star off the food because we had a pulled pork bap but it was quite dry. Epic chips and the chowder was lovely. I'm told it's very busy in the summer but a Sunday in Jan wasn't so bad. Incredible walk on the beach after lunch.

Excellent cafe and the vegan breakfast roll with homemade bread and flat mushrooms with vegan sausage was so delicious! Oat milk and a vegan Algerian love cake was super tasty too. Sat right near the wood burner which warmed us up. Great that it’s open through the winter. And the meer / beach walk at low tide never fails to be spectacular.

Had a fantastic visit to Runwayskiln after a walk along the beach today. Thoroughly enjoyed my Americano with warm milk and homemade brownie. Prices are more than reasonable, and staff are friendly and helpful. Booking is advised around busy times, as the cafe is small, but off peak walk-ins are fine too. Would highly recommend!

What an amazing little gem surrounded by beautiful walks and a stunning beach!
