Outdoor Activities
Kalamitsi Beach is a popular coastal spot that offers visitors the chance to engage in various activities like swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. The beach boasts of stunning scenic views, with surrounding cliffs that are perfect for diving enthusiasts. Visitors can also enjoy meals at nearby restaurants and bars which offer affordable options. The water at Kalamitsi Beach is clean but can be deep from the beginning.
Great place! Nice beach, clean water, although a little deep from the beginning. Sand like flour near the water, and with smal stones in rest, not for the taste of everybody but I loved it. Friendly people great coffee. Would come again!
Mariana Mihalachi — Google review
As the photos show this place is very cool, the color of the water is great, however it is steep so it might not be suitable for younger kids, for ours it wasn't but we were happy to go and hold them in the water. The shops at this beach charge a general premium, ie 28 euro for a hat which you can purchase elsewhere for 8. So just be ware when you're going here. Also if you want to get a good seat at this place you'll need to come early and again as mentioned it's very busy so parking is a. Absolute hassle. Cool beach thou we enjoyed our time here and would visit again!
Bogdan Ionascu — Google review
The beach is very clean, the sand is petite, lake same flour. It’s very suitable for baby Ana’s small kids. There have many beach bars. But you be cautious, because the taverns have a bad practice they lie with the recipe. Check before you to pay.
Петя Сотирова — Google review
Lovely beach. Amazing surrounding cliffs great for diving. Nice little resort. Would go back.
Yana Moyseeva — Google review
Amazing beach, and a lovely little village. It's a very long drive, which is actually a positive because it keeps the day-tripping crowds away. There are several beach bars, and two tavernas where you can eat on the beach. If you want a bit more excitement then Sarti is a short drive, but if that's what you want then there are better places in Chalkidiki to party. This village is perfectly geared towards the family.
Greg Clough — Google review
Great beach. The bars and restaurants are nice and not expensive.
Fernando Burg?s — Google review
Very nice beach, one of the best from this region.
Tibi N — Google review
One of our favorite beaches in Sithonia. Great view, shallow water (was acceptable for small kids even when very windy and waves). You can swim to the very close island and climb on top of it easily.
Alexandra Marin — Google review
Awesome beach, water is perfect and the view of the bay is movie-like. Surely one of the top 3 beaches on Sithonia. If you want sunbeds, it will cost you 15€ plus 4€ consumption per person. It is not much really, just FYI. The shallows are big and great for kids, all in all a great place which I'll visit again.
Du?an Ivkovi? — Google review
Very lovely beach. Cute island there you can get to by swimming. The water is low near the cliffs so it’s also great for children. Very clear and blue, can be seen in the pictures as well
Emanuela Foica — Google review
A beautiful beach. Crystal water. The small island is very interesting - you can easily climb on it's rocks,to make pictures of unique geological formations. There are a lot of fish in the water. But still the parking is awful- you should go there very early if you want to find a spot, and there is always possibility to find your car blocked by other vehicle,or scratches. The passage from the main road to the beach is very narrow, maybe about 200 m long and you may have to go back or find a way to pass aside other cars and even trucks(it is happening to me every time when I get there). But still one of the places you should visit when you are on Sithonia. I was amazed the first time. Take a place on the right side of the beach, infront the island-the sand is better there.
Dimitar Dimitrov — Google review
It is a wide beach with fine sand on one side and harder sand on the other. You have the possibility to rent a hydro bike, kayak and pedal board. The smooth entry into the water makes it the right place for families. You can also explore the rocky island that you can swim to. it has a landscaped area, but also an area where you can sit on the sand.
Beáta Kudor — Google review
Water was warm and clear at the moment of our visit, but with tiny, sticky particles, probably due to recent wildfires in the far north-east of Greece. There was harder sand on the part of the beach where we were located, and softer sand at the shore and in the water. Very nice place for the kids. It was very hard to find a parking spot in the afternoon.
Darko Đurić — Google review
The beach is realy great, it has sunbeds but also space to put your unbrellas, too. To bad it doesen't have enough parking space. The water is clear, everybody said that it is safe for kids, but I wouldn't agree because it goes deep after few steps and you can not leave the kids unatended...It has cliffs for diving and snorkling so it can be fun...
hinki black — Google review
Very nice and long beach, with crystal clear water. I highly recommend to visit it.
Natasha Kochovska — Google review
Nice arranged small beach with fine sand and turquoise water, where you can rent sunbeds with umbrellas, and there is also free section where you can put your sunbeds and ubmrellas. On the beach have cafeterias, bars, restaurants and shops where you can buy food and drinks. In the immediate vicinity of the beach there is a small island that can be reached very easily, where if you have diving equipment you have the opportunity to capture interesting moments from the diverse marine life.

Platanitsi Beach

Mentioned on

Outdoor Activities
Located close to a camping site, Platanitsi Beach is a bustling stretch of sand that provides ample opportunities for swimming and relaxation. The beach is spacious and well-maintained, with rental chairs and umbrellas available for visitors. It also features a bar area with lively DJ music to add to the vibrant atmosphere. While primarily used by campers, day-trippers are welcome too. June sees cooler waters and parents of small children need to be careful due to the steep entrance into the water.
We loved this place, because it was not crowdy as other beaches around. Beuatifull blue sea like in Caribean.
Tomáš Panak — Google review
You need to pay for the entrance to the camping but the camping doesn't have anything to do with the beach. A seat on the beach is 15 Euro apart of the things you buy and the owner is very rude a the beach bar. Only one place from where you can buy a coffee on the entire beach. Only the colour of the water is nice and very deep from the beginning. Not recommended
Catalin Zoican — Google review
2022 review. Nice blue flag beach. It is bery big, with umbrellas and chairs for free(the only condition is to buy something from the bar)- food or drinks. After 5pm there is happy hour with cocktails at 5€. There was a DJ playing a good variety of music at a loud but quite pleasant volume and audio quality. The sand is not very fine but nice. The water is clear but it gets deep very near the shore (a downside for kids) There are small, white fish near the edge of the water, they even come to your feet(sometimes if you stand still the peck your feet) There is a lifeguard, thrash cans, and turkish bath. Behind the beach there is a huge camp where you can stay with trailer or tent.
Marius Russu — Google review
It's almost only for campers. Non-campers need to pay per person (2€ is not a bad price) and for a car they want your personal ID cardto leave by them without any notice for what u left your ID card. Funny. No reviews from campers, a waste of time to drive there and pay for a beach when 99% of the beaches are free. I didn't saw this beach so I can't judge about the beach, but for previously written text I don't recommend this beach
Zsolt Papp — Google review
The beach is amazing, but it is not urban at all, just something to note, literally nothing is around it and everything is dead.
G P — Google review
Gorgeous and crystal clean water.
??????? ??????? — Google review
Probably the best beach in Sithonia if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet experience and crystal clear blue waters. The main advantage is that it's not crowded at all. We payed 4€ for two persons upon leaving since the beach is private and is part of the camping park. Overall a must visit if you are beach hopping throughout Sithonia.
Denis — Google review
Nice and large beach. Mainly for campers, but one day visitors are welcome too. Water is a bit colder in June and entrance to water is steep, so parents with small kids must be carefull. Overall a good place to visit.
Marko Čučurović — Google review
Wonderful beach, but poor service at Alea Bar & Restaurant. They offer free sunbeds, but you have to make a minimum order of 25 euro/ set of sunbeds. The prices are higher than other similar beaches (4 euro for a soft drink). And the food they offer is not cooked at the restaurant, but delivered from another restaurant and you have to wait pretty much. 😔
Florentina Scheul — Google review
The Platanitsi beach near Sarti is exceptionally beautiful. Long white beach with a beautiful blue-turquoise color, which is crystal clear, leaves nobody indifferent. One of Sithonias best beaches. It is situated in the context of camping place. A great place for a complete enjoyment and relaxing vacation. Excellent for diving and snorkeling. The atmosphere completes marvelous views of the magical Atos mountain. Excellent for diving and snorkeling. Nature is wonderful, people are extraordinary, hospitable. Simply enchanting place.
Asiyah Noemi Koso — Google review
A great beach with beautiful view of the sea. I just pass through the camping, cheaper than others, but with lacks regarding toilets and washrooms, long lines for showers.

Beach is beautiful. Water is very clean and great for swimming. There is natural shade under the trees on the right side.

Sarti Beach

Mentioned on
Beach
Outdoor Activities
Sarti Beach is a lively coastal area with a boardwalk full of bars and restaurants, offering unobstructed views of Mt. Athos. This expansive beach boasts fine sand, crystal-clear water, and ample opportunities for entertainment. While large waves may occasionally occur, this destination remains family-friendly overall. Additionally, Sarti is an ideal location for families due to its proximity to eateries, shops, and other amenities within the city.
Great place & great peoples! Loved it! Would definitely like to visit it again! Nice sand, clear water, great food. Dog friendly, too.
Mariana Mihalachi — Google review
My review is for ‘New Sarti’ or the part of Sarti beach that is not in the center of the town, but on the right side. This part of the beach is much better than the one in city centre. Water is warm, shallow, great colors, small waves (depending on the current of course), wind is not strong. I loved it here. In city centre beach is not that good, it gets deep quickly, but i think every part of Sarti beach is different because the beach is quite long. I recommend this part in ‘new’ side because it is great.
Jelena Jo — Google review
🏖️🏖️🏖️ Recommendation :) Very nice beach with fine sand, clean sea and great views... Beach is huge and easily accessible, with a lot places to drink and eat and have fun. Somethimes, there is possibility of very big waves, but overall the Sarti beach is suitable for families with small children. I would gladly come back next year.
MiMi V. — Google review
Authentic Greek place, full of taverns and souvenir shops, with a huge sandy beach.
Aleksandar Davidovic — Google review
Nice and long beach with multiple bars and restaurants, mostly clean water but entrances are not always shallow.. you might be wandering for a while to find a perfect spot.
Lukáš Moravčík — Google review
Nice city, perfect for families with kids. Everything is close there :beaches, restaurants, shops . Love Sarti ❤️
Andreea Vulpe — Google review
Overall a good beach, but you can find way better in the area 😊
Georgi Bebov — Google review
Very nice long beach, fine sand, clear water. One part of the beach is very shallow, so it is ideal for kids. During my stay wind was blowing all the time, but luckily it wasn't cold so it was a pleasant stay. There is a lot of beach bars with deck chairs and umbrellas
Katarina Fermevc — Google review
Very beautiful water and sand, you can put your umbrella and stuffs, there are plenty room for everyone.
florina nita — Google review
the beach is beautiful but a bit steep for small children, with clean sand, many restaurants, the market with many boutiques
eugen Partridge — Google review
Very nice beach. A lot of nice spots. Decent prices. Little bit windy, but still perfect for kids. They do like that kind of waves. Very nice parking -easy to find place and no chance to be blocked. Usually you pay just for the first and second row of umbrellas, the other rows are free with just a consumption on the bar that provides the shadow.
Dimitar Dimitrov — Google review
A beautiful and nice place in Sithonia/Chalkidiki in Greece from where across the sea you can see the holy mountain Athos and it's magnificent surroundings. Soft sandy beach just to enjoy yourself.
Misko Perisic — Google review
Great beach, long and sandy. You can choose a lounger with an umbrella or your own towel on the sand. But above all, it has the most beautiful view of Mount Athos. Parking along the entire beach.
Ewa Święciaszek — Google review
If it wasn’t for the view of mt. Athos this beach would not be worth it. Nothing special about it - normal water and harsh sand. Packed with families. The town is pretty cheap looking with souvenir shops and cheap restaurants. Accommodation is pretty expensive for what the place has to offer. Much better places to visit in Sithonia.
Laura Alexandra — Google review
Very nice beach with fine sand and the main area is with crystal clear shallow water, perfect for kids. The wild side is a bit deeper with beautiful rocks and sand dunes, ideal for snorkeling and discovering underwater wildlife or just chilling and enjoying the sun and the local nature between the mountain cliffs and the water front with mount Athos dominating the landscape.
Stefan Stefanov — Google review
Very, very nice place with a beautiful sandy beach and turquoise sea. There are enough markets, enough taverns, enough places for an evening stroll, a large outdoor playroom with games for children, and plenty of nice beaches in the surrounding area for those not holding the place. With nice weather, a pleasant holiday is guaranteed 😊
Ivan Janjić — Google review
Beautiful view with Athos Mountain. Sometimes you could get big enough waves to get natural hydro massage :) Large sand beach, it will never be crowded. Sunbeds areas are well organized with toilets, bar and shower. Large parking area. There are no trees close to beach, so take umbrella if you want to go for free beach. There are some taverna around to get lunch.

Kavourotrypes Beach

Outdoor Activities
Kavourotrypes Beach is a well-liked destination with a combination of sandy and rocky areas, suitable for swimming and sunbathing. The beach also boasts a small bar for visitors to enjoy. Considered one of the finest beaches in the Mediterranean, it offers stunning panoramic views and an abundance of marine life which makes snorkeling an unforgettable experience. However, it can become quite busy due to its popularity among tourists.
Best beach in Mediterranean: superb landscapes, teeming underwater life (snorkeling is a must), super clean waters. The only negative is that it gets really crowded
Lucian Popescu — Google review
Absolutely beautiful beach with crystal clear waters, but also a bit of a tourist trap. Very overcrowded. The bar on the beach blasts loud music spoiling this natural beauty. A lot of garbage right next to the parking area. Unfortunately what could have been a paradise spot is actually so packed that it almost causes anxiety. Hope the authorities do something about the bar, clean it up and limits the number of people.
Laura Alexandra — Google review
We were fortunate to visit the beach at the end of the season when the weather was perfect. The beach was virtually deserted, creating a pristine and breathtaking setting. It was an amazing spot to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the sea.
R D — Google review
Very nice landscape, probably the best for camping. There are couple small beaches between the rocks, all look amazing from the top of the hill. Only one of them has the sun umbrellas and the bar on the beach, but they all get overcrowded (so much that there is no space between the sunbeds and towels - you have to jump over or move something if you want to get to the water). I thought this could be nice place for snorkeling, but the visibility in the water was poor regardless of how far I’d go from the beach.
Ivana Todorovic — Google review
Only 4 stars as this is not the kind of beach we prefer. For sure it's a must see but that's all, as there are only a few places where you can seat ; the beach is very narrow and there are only a few places with sand and at 8 AM these were already occupied. Also the exit from the main road is very challenging,so if you have a low car you may hit it, as there is quite a level difference between the tarmac and macadam roads.
Tibi N — Google review
Over rated beach. Merely no sand beach. Very overcrowded. People sitting in the forest behind the beach, or on the walk way. Or on the rocks. No place for more than 20-30 persons. You should arrive in 7-8 am to find free place. No place at the beach bar at 10 am.... Very disappointed. Anyway, the beach and nature are really beautiful, but just for short sightseeing.
Stefan Penchev — Google review
A picturesque cove. It feels like a ‘local’ spot rather than a tourist beach. The beach has lots of natural shade from large trees. The sand is soft and if you bring goggles you can do some fish spotting among the gorgeous rock formations. There is a bar which has lots of seating under the trees and they play great chilled music rather than loud party tunes.
Carla Paszkowski — Google review
The only beach on two peninsulas (Sithonia and Kassandra) we got disappointed. The beach itself is really beautiful with white sand and blue water. I would have given 5 stars if not a huge BUT! It was totally distorted by people. There is a lot of trash around, people are living in the tents, sun beds are everywhere making it impossible to enjoy the beautiful around. For ones who is interested, there is a nudist beach around the corner
Lana Foodie — Google review
Beach bar has a reservation system that's not explained anywhere. We paid 100 euro for a transfer to this beach and we were told that it's full! Bouncer was rude and told us to go away. We had to walk a long way to find some place to stay with my family. Extremely loud music and extremely loud generator that's probably why the music is so loud.
A — Google review
Nice place and accesible with car. Quite full and difficult to find spot to put the tower. Beach with sand and rocks. Easy to spot different fish around. It has a small cantina for a refreshments/snacks.
Alejandro EM — Google review
Marble rocks shape the nature of this beach. Very crowded and narrow place. Not enough amount of sunbed and umbrellas. But if you reserve a place just before one day, you will fell privilaged with your sunned in the morning. Be there before 9:30 at latest. Meals are cooked not nice. We didn’t like the taste. Because they can not manage to serve such a crowd with a few number of employees. If your aim of presence is to be an Instagram phenomenon, you’re ar the right place.
Kaan Pamuk — Google review
That’s the best beach I’ve ever been to! Really! It has some disadvantages though (but it’s still 5 stars) The main thing I like about this beach are its views and versatility. Here you can find literally everything — sand, rocks, shrubs, coniferous trees, super clear water of turquoise color and the bottom is shallow and smooth. You will love it! The main disadvantage is that this is a very popular place among tourists. It’s one of the most crowded beaches we saw in Sithonia. So don’t expect much private space, sometimes it even hard to find a comfortable place to stay in. The same goes for parking. The second time visiting this beach we tried to arrive before noon, but it already was full of people. So I guess maybe the best time to really enjoy its views is early morning.
Vitalii Romaniv — Google review
It is a beautiful small beach, unfortunately the beach bar is a total disaster! It is super crowded and the music annoying, the spectacular beach is that crowded that is very hard to swim there. The staff do not care about you, you could be there for hours and nobody ask you if you need something, we tried to call the staff attention but they ignored all our attempts …. Because we were starving we decided to left, just we start to gather our belongings the staff come over for start to fix the chairs and the umbrella.
Maria Priscila Gonzales — Google review
The water and the beach are actually wonderful, like from the magazines. But the number of people is unacceptable. They are literally everywhere, it is even impossible to walk without walking on someones's towel. Roaring music from the bar completes the catastrophe. In the off-season it is probably empty, but also not so warm and beautiful, so in my opinion it is impossible to use this beach for me.
Katarzyna Kula — Google review
The best place to go if you wan to see natural beauty. The sea is from another planet. Don’t miss it even if you are around here for one day. In the Orange beach bar they are not charging for sun-beds and umbrellas etc. . Cool prices too.

Goa Beach Bar

Bar
The Goa Beach Bar is a small, sober beach bar located between Sarti and Paralia Sykia. It's frequented primarily by locals and can be quite peaceful. The color of the sea at the bar can be strange, but the surroundings are beautiful. The frappe that wasn't as expected was not our favorite, but overall we recommend this spot for something different than the more crowded beaches around it.
Perfect small beach with crystal clear water and view to Mt. Athos. Nice beach bar with chill music and good food. Sea bottom is a bit rocky, might need water shoes.
Angel Evdokimov — Google review
The bar is nice with a great view, the beach is wild, not too crowded, clean and has rocks around, really nice place. The way down there looks a bit extreme, but it's fine for a regular car.
Mariyana Radicheva — Google review
The beach is gorgeous and untamed. Very different from all beaches we have seen in Sithonia - it looks more like one in the Ionian islands. Rock shoes are a must. The bar is nice and chill. The access is through a dirt road, however I do not understand why people said it is difficult to get there - any car can get there, with a little bit of care.
Olga Morosanu — Google review
Great beach for snorkeling, the cliffs give the impression of an exotic beach in Thailand. Water has many colours blue, turquoise, green
Andrei Boca — Google review
Absolute gem of a beach, especially if you don't like crowds. Lots of rocky outcrops on either side, which make it fantastic for snorkeling. The bar is lovely and the staff is super friendly. Bonus, they have parties on the weekend nights.
ana andrijevic — Google review
After Tigania Beach this is the second best snorkeling place in Sithonia (discovered by me). The problem with Goa beach, as well as with Tigania beach, is that they are exposed to de east and south-east winds blowing almost daily from the Athos Mountain. One year ago (September 2015) for ten days we tried without success to catch a day without waves on Goa beach. This year (August 2016) we were lucky enough to have a calm sea in our first day of holiday in Sarti. So we went directly to Goa beach to check if there are waves crashing on the Goa beach left side water emerging rocks. The sea was flat so we go directly for about two hours of snorkeling on the left side of the beach going round the rocky shelf rising from the water. The water was crystal clear with 20-25 m visibility and there is a combination of shallow and deep water with high solid rocks on a sand bottom. The sea life is not very abundant but the underwater landscape is great. Another great advantage of this beach is that it is not crowded mainly due to the dirt road which does not look very encouraging in the beginning for small cars. There is also a large enough parking area and the sunbeds and umbrellas are theoretically free (you have to order a set of drinks from the bar).
Eugen BARSAN — Google review
Beautiful and wild, Goa beach offers a stunning view on the Mount Athos. I loved the bar on the beach, the music and the fact it is not too crowded. You might need sea shoes to enter in the water.
Baptiste Hartz — Google review
Secluded beach, plenty of parking spaces, clean and clear water, awesome beach bar and lots of rocks to swim to. Do not forget your goggles an make sure you bring a pair of water shoes — there are plenty of pebbles, stones and rocks at the sea floor.
Gorski Alex — Google review
The least crowded beach I've seen in Sithonia, possibly because of the rocky bottom. Also, waves and wind are quite frequent, from what I understand. Great view of Mt. Athos. Access is via a perfectly practicable and wide enough dirt road. Parking never seems to be a problem. Beach bar has friendly, laid back staff and medium prices (frappé+Eza beer=€6.50). There is also a lot of room for towels. They are said to host great beach parties in the evening/at night, but I only stayed through the day. My favorite beach in Sithonia because it never seems to be too crowded. Bring water shoes though.
Mălin Sufiţchi — Google review
Friendly staff, small and intimate beach. Super bar and music. Quiet holiday atmosphere. Clear, clean water. I recommend water shoes.
Mihai Dobre — Google review
I was definitely enthusiastic when i saw the beach and the bar, it was different from what we ve experienced but unfortunately i don t recommend if you have a baby with you, as i had. I couldn't enter into the sea because of the rocks who bothered me and also because the sea had a strange color, but the surroundings are wow... When it comes to the bar, i didn t enjoyed my frappe because it wasn't as i expected(it was more water than coffee). I truly recommend if you want something else, something chill and peaceful ✌

amazing experience! from polite, well trained waiters to great food. everything was perfect and I totally recommend. portions are big, food is tasty and we had a lemonade with honey and I think it was the best one I ever had. at the end, we got an amazing dessert that felt like happiness on a plate. don't hesitate to eat here, you won't regret it.

The second restaurant I try in Greece and so far the food was awesome. The service was delightful and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I would definitely come back here. One of the most beautiful restaurants in Sithonia. Professional, clean. Staff friendly, quality standard in terms of food, drinks and service at a high level. Even the dessert that was free is better than most of the restaurants I have visited. Prices are normal, like in other restaurants. All the best, all the recommendations for this restaurant.

This was for us wice the best eating experience in Greece. There are couple of places very good that we visited but this was awesome. We ate also in sikya near Sarti in another well known taverna but not close to Tzitzikas. In both times we ate in Tzitzikas had different food Seafood musaka insane Sardines Tzitzikas omggg delicious Fish soup, sundried octopus and other 10 dishes were delicious and in the end the sweets and the hot fresh toels 🙏. We usually don't come in the same location in holidays but because of you we want to come again. Best best

The place was recommended by friends and this is why we went The service was very nice and welcoming and the nice touch was that there was mosquito spray given to customers. The food was good and very fresh and you could tell it is not frozen. We. Liked everything we ordered however the stuffed sardines with sundried tomatoes didn't have any sundried tomatoes in them... So may be it was a mistake however they were nice. At the end the very big surprise is they give you a small platter of Greek desserts so you can taste them all. And not to forget the hot wet towels for you to wash your hands with at the end.

The best restaurant I've ever visited in Greece!!! Exceptional service, delicious meals, kind and welcoming staff. We found the place last year and we were very satisfied with our choice. This year we made a dinner reservation, the food and the people were great as last year. Top! Highly recommended!

Lovely restaurant with excellent service and good location. Kudos for the staff. Food is good (somehow I expected more based on the other reviews) but relatively small portions compared with other restaurants in the area. Reccomend shrimp in ouzo sauce. Parking can be a problem if you have a big car - park your car at the main road and have a relaxing 100m walk.

Amazing! The food is perfect, stuff is so polite and kind. Restaurant is big and clean, with an amazing view. Prices are higher but its totally worth it! We ate grooper and mousmouli, halloumi grilled cheese ( I loved it ), Greek salad ( the small portion for 2 person for us was enough ), local beer Mamos is very good, grilled octopus... you cant make a mistake with this place! Thank you and hope to see you next year. Greetings from Belgrade 🙂

Fantastic service (which to my experience has become a standard in Greece), extraordinary tasty food - we had naked bifteki which was so delicious that my wife and daughter almost ate mine, dzadziki, some seafood. And a big plus - the view is very soothing - looking at the marina of Porto Cofu.

Very hospitable, polite and well-mannered staff. They speak Greek, English and Bulgarian. The place is casual, but the food is exceptional. We've tried a lot of different menu options – all very tasty and beautifully presented. They bring you warm towels when you finish your meal, as well as dessert on the house. Platanorema Farm offers a down-to-earth yet delicious menu in a picturesque setting, with excellent local wines. The charming restaurant is nestled in lush greenery and serves traditional dishes made from hand-picked ingredients, including homemade cheeses. The farm also provides accommodations and boasts beautiful views of the area and wildlife. Guests can enjoy the serene atmosphere, locally sourced delicious food, and friendly staff. The farm is home to various animals like horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, and semi-wild pigs.
Great food, and great mini zoo, nice place for families with kids :)

This place is absolutely amazing. We're here in mid-May and there are very few tourists, so it's very serene. The food is locally sourced and I'm afraid my vocabulary is too thin to properly express how delicious. It's been quite some while since I have really enjoyed every bite. The owner is very friendly and informative. Thank you so much!

This place was breathtaking and it only took us a few minutes of walking around the farm to realise it! The location was ideal becuase it offered a beautiful view of the area and wildlife. The closest beach was only 20 minutes away and the other beaches were just a few more minutes of driving by car. The staff there were very friendly and helped us with everything we nedeed. The food there was delicious and made with love! We also participated in some of the many fun activites there and we're glad to say we were satisfied with the whole experience! I would gladly recommend this place to others wishing to experience Halkidiki to its fullest!

The best idea for families. Great place, secure, with great surroundings and all the experiences you can have in a farm. Horseride, feeding the animals are only some off the activities you could have.

Dirty place for the accommodation near the street. Unpleasant experience with the owner. Uphill the restaurant and accommodation seems okish , but believe me you will find easy other places to spend your precious time. Be smart, think twice !

The restaurant Manassu Beach Bar is located in a scenic cove on Sithonia, attracting celebrities and other visitors. The service is perfect, the people are polite, and there is music during the day. The downside is that the sand at the beach can be rocky, and the water gets deeper near shore.
The whole place is beautiful and all the villas are next to the beach. Very nicely decorated. We had free sunbeds and towels for the beach. The food at the restaurant is delicious. We stayed at a two bedroom villa which was nice with a big deck in front. It would be nice to get a few fixes in the construction part. In general very beautiful and for relaxation. The stuff was extremely polite and kind and helpful.

Stylish place, great coffee and cocktails. Chill music, not too loud and helpful staff. Food is very tasty as well, worth the price. Beach area has crystal clear water and they keep the beach clean. Parking is free after you take an umbrella of prices 30€,23€ or 15€ depending on where you stay. Toilets and sunbeds are clean. Overall expenses are proportionate to the service.

We were here in July and were really satisfied. A breathtakingly beautiful beach with clear water. That's why diving was very cool. The second time we were there, we were very close to a music box. It was very loud, which wasn't nice. Unfortunately, the journey there by car was a bit bumpy. The food is highly recommended! Really delicious!
Elisa Böse — Google review
The beach it's nice and the view it's really great. Water is cristal clear, beach is clean, sunbeds really comfortable and services are great. Also, they have nice fruits plates, good coffee, great pizza and sandwich club. If you have kids, they have also a play zone. For us it's a place where we will return for sure.
Lia Stiopei — Google review
Superb location, impeccable service, and a broad selection of Greek and international dishes. A great place to spend a summer’s day and enjoy the beach with drinks and snacks. The resort around also seemed quite cool and stylish.
Ognyan Seizov — Google review
The beach itself resembles a field of sharp stones, as if Poseidon himself decided to pepper the shoreline with his personal collection of lego bricks. The beach shop offers everything from overpriced sunblock to fancy straw hats, but alas, not a single pair of those precious foot protectors. Service was friendly, or at least their facial muscles suggested so. But you could sense the desperation in their forced smiles, as if they were silently screaming, "Please, enjoy your stay and tip us handsomely, because we need to afford these pricey beach chairs!" The food was surprisingly good and not as pricey as the drinks.
Tilman Benecke — Google review
The stuff very super friendly and kind. All the food looks good and it is delicious as it looks, and the waiters takes their time to explain everything you want to know about the specific food you are interested!! Super atmosphere!! Loved it!! 🥰🥰

Definitely a beach worth visiting. Excellent beach bar, well organized, on a beautiful clean sandy beach. Plenty of parking spaces in the private parking lot. Everything is perfect, the ambience, atmosphere, music, service, food. You certainly cannot try such delicious and genuine restaurant food on other beaches The prices are a bit high, but it really doesn’t matter, overall experience is great. What else to say but a beach bar with 5 stars.
Goran — Google review
Really beautiful bay. The service is perfect and the people are very polite. We are here just for the beach and not using the bungalows. The price for a set of 2 sun beds (very comfortable) and a big umbrella is 9 euros. There is chill out music during the whole day, kids playground and a volleyball court. The downside is that the “sand” is rocky as in all of Greece and the water is quickly getting deeper near the shore. Whatever…..I recommend this place

Best beach on Sitonia. We were in Bungalow for 10 days and it was amazing! Stuff is really professional, everything is clean. Definitely going back next year!

Very good camping resort with a really nice beach bar and restaurant. The umbrella with two sunbeds is paid (we paid 30 euro on the third row) and there is a lot of space between the umbrellas. The service was really nice with very attentive staff. The food is really good with nice big portions both in the restaurant and at the beach bar. The music is great and relaxing. It's a very nice place to hangout for the whole day. There are showers and changing rooms at the beach bar!!! The place feels a bit luxurious, but is not so expensive. I didn't remember to take photos of everything, but overall it was a really nice and fulfilling experience.
Dimitar Kalinkov — Google review
Nice organized beach, you need to pay for sunbeds & umbrellas on top of consumption (25€ for the 1st row mid June). Food at the beach was okay. Plenty of parking 🅿️. There are toilets, showers, changing rooms, even a small grocery store, massage room and boutique for clothes. Staff was polite and helpful. Recommend to visit if you’re in the region.
Radoslava Slavcheva — Google review
The food is amazing. Nice cocktails too. They notify on the menu wich dish is gluten free. The place is celiac and gluten free friendly. It is also great for families. The beach is gorgeous with clear blue water. A lovely place to go to.
Juliette — Google review
Amazing food! I am stunned! Prices are a bit higher, but It was totally worth it. I can also recommend cocktails. They were amazing. Prices for sun-beds are a bit high (40€ for first row). They force you to buy an extra sun-bed for 7€ if you have kids. The whole beach is stunning. It was super clean and toilets were like in a 5 star hotel. Sand and water were crystal clear. When we got there, we got 3 bottles of water in a bucket of ice. Amazing service! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only downside to the water is that it is deep and has a lot of rocks. Restaurant was well decorated with plants. Location of the beach is beautiful. You are surrounded by mountains. Beach is super crowded and busy. You can’t sit on sand.
Petar Kozomora — Google review
Private beach with great atmosphere, service and good food. The sand is mostly from small stones, not sandy but very beautiful and totally worth it! As a coffee lover, I don’t like the paper cups for the frappe, because the coffee tastes like paper and if you don’t drink it fast, the paper will soon get wet and couldn’t keep it in the paper cup for so long… so you can bring your own plastic cup from home like me :)

Visited 19-20-21 June 2023. Perfect experience for me and my family in Sithonia finger of Chalkidiki, below Vourvourou area. It was early summer so it was not over crowded. Some may find it expensive (the backside early summer prices 12 eur for 2 sunbed + an umbrella + 4 eur for an extra bed) but it is totally worth. (Front sides were gradually rising to 25 eur). We felt very comfortable at the beach, the boundaries were well kept between each beds, privacy was respected. The customer profile was nice, no screaming, no loud noise etc. The earth road from the main road was a little steep slope, so watch out! Free carpark is available. The location is great; the beach is located at the bay full with olive trees, just next to Akti Oneirou luxury camping. There was a small market having almost every little detail because of being next to the camping, with reasonable prices. A small beach boutique was also available, having nice beachwear. Sea is just perfectly clean and clear offering great swimming experience, but it gets deep very soon, so families with small children should be very careful. And bring your sea shoes, the beach is not sand but with pebblestones, making in and out a little difficult. Beach bar and restaurant was again so good. We had lunch meals there and every dish was delicious. Staff was amazing all the time, cheerful and helpful. In short, I would strongly suggest Manassu Beach for a comfortable sea pleasure and delicious meals. It is worth every penny. Trust!

If you're looking for a delicious and atmospheric Greek restaurant on the east coast of Kassandra, look no further than Bakalis. With dishes such as stifado (beef stew with baby shallots), squid pasta and fried skate with green peppers, this spot is popular with locals and tourists alike. There's also a variety of vegetarian options to choose from, making it perfect for those who want something different on their meal. The best part?
The best grilled sea bass we’ve had in Greece!!! Grilled calamari and baked scallops were a-ma-zing too. The owner is the kindest and the most welcoming person in Halkidiki. Awesome place, fast service, nice wine selection, terrific complimentary desserts.

Great dinner on the beach at Bakalis restaurant. The place offers a wide variety of local dishes. The portions are quite big and with fair prices. At the end they have offered us also a dish of different cakes and fruits. Waiters are very nice and friendly. I recommend to come here, it is maybe the most interesting restaurant in town.

Very nice restaurant by the beach. The food was great and we even got an appetizer and a full plate of deserts on the house. We tried sea food dishes and they were so delicious. The waiter helped us with opening up the fish and removing it's bones 🙌🏻

Excellent food. Phenomenal atmosphere. Plus, they’re open all year! The seating right on the beach is absolutely picturesque. We really enjoyed the orzetto with prawns, the Grandma’s Mushrooms dish, and the free dessert plate was absolutely gigantic. We will be back!
Carla Myers — Google review
We order every time to much, everything is so fresh and tasty. The mixed fish plate, which is not on the menu, is the best! It's a feast to have this on the table. And the complimentary dessert is to cry for, it's homemade, so fresh and good, the best baklava I ever had in my live. UPDATE: we went again today, half of February sunny Sunday afternoon. It was busy obviously, but there were some empty tables. We got the menu's, after a long time we could place the order, salad, stuffed burger, grilled sardines and a beer. It took more then 20 minutes to bring the beer and the bread, at least 20 minutes more to bring the salad, Caesar's with grilled prawns (the salad was very poor, tomato lettuce, corn and a dressing plus 5 grilled prawns, I would be ashamed to ask 9.50 for this) after we ate the salad, which was a side dish not a starter, it took again a very long time until the sardines (very nice and tasty, but a small portion) and the burger (juicy and tasty but small and only with some fries) came. As a complimentary dessert we got some tasteless walnut cake, very old kataifi and some other sweet stuff, to cold and not fresh and no decorations or ice cream. We are used that the desserts are mostly a festivity, this was sad. Today there was no love for food, not enough good staff and not a value for money balance. I would be more happy with a pita gyros for 3 euro. We will come again for the quality of fish but never again on a Sunday afternoon at lunch time.

Great food, perfect view right on the beach next to the waves. We found a table right away on a Saturday night, so that was also great. Prices are very reasonable (50 euros for 2 people), the quality was good, and especially the cheese croquettes were delicious! In the end you also get free dessert, which is also really nice! Service was good, it just took way long in the end to pay, but considering how busy the staff was, it was fine. It is better to sit right at the beach, ifyou want yo have a bit of a calmer space, than upstairs, as people walk by your table etc.

One of the best restaurants in Kassandra. We went to Bakalis several times. The staff is really nice and friendly, not too much waiting to be served and the food is amazing. I really recomend it!

"I had the pleasure of dining at Bakalis Restaurant in Greece and I must say, the experience was outstanding. The food was not only delicious but also generously portioned. Each dish was bursting with flavors that showcased the authenticity of Greek cuisine. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere exuded warmth and hospitality. The combination of great food and a welcoming ambiance made for an unforgettable dining experience. If you're in search of exceptional Greek cuisine with generous portions, Bakalis Restaurant is a must-visit destination." Lastly I want to say that our waiter Alexander made sure we had a great evening.

We chose this restaurants based on its reviews. Well, it didn't leave to our expectations. The grilled eggplant and feta cheese was good (4/5 stars) and the souvlaki was nice with fresh fries (4/5 stars) but the grilled octopus was a disappointment (1/5 stars) as it was chewy and still tasted and smelled like sea! The desert was on the house. Everything costed 47 euros for two with drinks and mandatory water and bread! All in all, over rated restaurant.
Farhad Varzandeh — Google review
Bakalis is a restaurant located close to the beach, which sets it apart from most establishments in the area. Unlike many restaurants in this region, Bakalis operates year-round. The staff is friendly, and menus are available in several languages, including Bulgarian. The quality of food and portion sizes are good, especially when it comes to seafood, which I highly recommend. The salad was also good. My only disappointment was with the dessert, which was a cupcake, rather than fruit. However, this is a matter of personal preference. If you're in the area and looking for a delicious meal, be sure to stop by Bakalis - you won't be disappointed!

Great food and great service!!! If you are looking for a wonderful experience- this is the place!!! By the beach, the waiters are lovely and the food is delicious!

All in all we are not really satisfied with our experience in the restaurant Bakalis. As starters we had crab meat and grilled octopus. Both tasted very good. For the main course we had "fisherman's net", a mix of small fried fishes. We expected to get a mix of fishes like sardines, anchovies, so the bones of the fish don't matter and you can just snack the complete fish. Actually the fishes were quite big and full of bones, thus it was no fun to eat these fish and in our opinion the dish doesn't make sense of how it is served. But all the fish tasted good. In the end we received a dessert on the house with a variety of different deserts. All guests get these dessert plates. As we didn't order the dessert it is not included in our rating but it is a nice gesture form the restaurant. The service of the restaurant didn't really exist. The waiter was not very friendly, forgot our drinks and than brought wrong drinks after our complain and seemed to be annoyed by us. Hopefully our waiter had just a bad day and his normal performance is much better.

Wonderful restaurant with delicious food and amazing atmosphere. We ordered fried calamari, greek salad, red mullet and mussel saganaki. All of them were tasty and fresh. The service is incredibly fast. The employees are very friendly. Even though the place was packed, it was easy to find a table and all the dished were served quickly.

Really great food, Big offer of fresh fish and nice dry local wine. Sesvice was extreamly pleasent, in famous greek hospitality style. Ritch and tasty ewning for 3 persons was little under €80. (Food and drinks) All that was underlined with Greek music giving right armosphere of sea even in the winter. And for theend we was supprised with sweets - on the house. So do not expect from me nothing less than 5* worth recommendation. Cheers

A nice restaurant with lovely staff. The food was plentiful and was tasty. We were lucky we went early as by 8.30 people were queuing for a table. We also got a beautiful dessert plate. It was fabulous.

The restaurant is located right on the coast with a varied menu of local and foreign dishes, with many types of fish. Prices are affordable and similar as in all parts of this area. The service is solid but far from perfect. Anyway, visit this cute place...

The food is amazing. Especially there is bread with olive pesto and tomatoes, which is amazing. I also recommend mixed see food, which is more than enough for 2 people. The plate is 20 euro but is really worthy. Grilled octopus is 15.5, mixed salad 11e... 10/10. I recommend it.

Leon Villas in Nikiti is a new facility near the harbor, offering self-catered maisonettes with equipped kitchenettes. Guests were satisfied with the friendly welcome, hygiene measures due to Covid19, and clean swimming pool. The spacious maisonettes received positive feedback, although having a two-floor maisonette was not ideal for young children. Some guests complained about slippery floors but praised the staff's friendliness and helpfulness.
The hotel is perfect! The effort to create something classy and elegant is obvious as well the attention to detail. It si very cozy, clean and have everything you need for great stay! The location is very convenient, оrganisation by the owners is at the highest level. By the end of this season every single rate under 5 from 5 is not serious (except it is well-argued). Slippery floors ...come on. See you next year!

The villa is new, beautiful and in a good position. The staff is friendly and helpful. A big complaint is the slippery floors in all rooms, corridors and around the pool. Guests should not go with wet feet and shoes so as not to wet the floor, guests should be prohibited from doing so. The rooms are spacious, as is the terrace. Sound insulation is excellent, considering that we were with two babies. We didn't know that we could bring towels from the villa to the pool, so we used our own. We didn't know we could use the washing machine for free. In the apartments you have everything, basic dishes, kettle, pots, toaster and microwave, in the bathroom there are baths, soap, toilet paper, it is cleaned every day and bed linen and towels are changed every 3 days. It was nice for us and we are satisfied with the service. One less star because of the slippery floors and because we did not get all the infomation about the amenities in the villa.

Even we had the room near the pool, it was ok because the pool is closed between 3 and 5 o'clock p.m. and after 9 o'clock p.m. and the windows of the room are well closed (so you can't hear the noise).
