Fundy National Park Of Canada

Mentioned on
National park
Nature & Parks
Fundy National Park of Canada is a world-renowned high-tide park located in New Brunswick. The park experiences the highest tides in the world and features pristine forests, deluxe Brunswick campgrounds, and a tinge of Atlantic Canadian culture.
Visited the park in 2016 summertime. The hiking trail is nice with lots of trees, and close to lakes. The view of sea is absolutely beautiful under sunshine. My dog JJ enjoy it!
Kan He — Google review
This is must visit site. Beautiful park taking in coast and forest. Good visitor centre and plenty of parking and toilets. Short easy trails right through to wilderness trecking. Lots of lakes. For eating go just out of the park to the small fishing port of Alma.
Bob Carvey — Google review
Well worth the extra few hours of driving to get here. Loved going down to Point Wolfe and seeing the covered bridge. The visitors center is also very clean and there are plenty of scenic pull-offs and short trails along the main road.
Noah Von Dauber — Google review
Beautiful and peaceful national park. Learn about natural animals and plants. Or, go for a walk in the woods, they have all levels from easy to difficult trails.
Terence Kot — Google review
Everything about Fundy is special to me. Been going there camping my whole life in NB and it's my favourite spot here in the province, and now we take our kids to start learning to love it too. If you want that special time outdoors with your family Fundy has it all, hikes, ocean, camping, parks, and all of it is focused on nature and appreciation for the outdoors. Clean well maintained federal park, services aplenty and some of the best hiking in the Atlantic provinces.
Danny Hennessey — Google review
Fundy National Park is a remarkable destination that showcases the beauty of Canada's natural landscapes. Nestled along the Bay of Fundy, this park offers a unique experience with its fascinating tidal phenomenon. The water levels here rise and fall dramatically, creating an ever-changing coastal environment that is both captivating and awe-inspiring. One of the highlights of visiting Fundy National Park is witnessing the dramatic tidal changes firsthand. The sight of the water level rising and falling is truly mesmerizing, and it offers a glimpse into the powerful forces of nature at work. This tidal activity also creates a dynamic ecosystem, supporting a diverse range of plant and animal life. Aside from the tidal phenomenon, Fundy National Park boasts stunning scenery and a variety of outdoor activities. Visitors can explore the park's numerous hiking trails, which meander through lush forests, along rugged coastlines, and past picturesque waterfalls. The park is also home to a number of beautiful beaches, perfect for relaxing or taking a refreshing dip in the ocean. Overall, Fundy National Park is a wonderful place to visit for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Its unique tidal phenomenon, stunning scenery, and diverse wildlife make it a must-see destination in Canada.

Beautiful park with lots of things to do. Great trails with amazing views. I recommend you to see Dickson Falls and Shiphaven trails, Point Wolfe Beach

Such a varied park. Waterfalls, beaches, forests, and massive tides. The red chairs are perfect for chilling and instagramming. There are plenty of trails to enjoy quiet walks, and there are myriad places to just sit and enjoy nature. Lovely place for a visit.
Joshua Schneider — Google review
This was my first visit to the park. The National Park is located within a short walk to the quaint town of Alma which has restaurants, a micro brewery and the famous Kelly's Bake Shop and shops too. There are an abundance of hiking trails where you can explore the coastline and ocean floor, or hike in the woods and swim in a waterfall. This is a magical place and I will be back soon!
Kate Stewart — Google review
Probably one of the coolest parks I've been too. Really nice during fall. I completes Mathews head trail first. Lots of mud and exposed roots. Gotta be careful you don't hit a tree root and roll your ankle. There is a collection of walking sticks at the start of the trail. I recommend taking one (and returning it) for use during the uphill parts.
Rishi Suseentheram — Google review
Amazed at the size of the park. It was so beautiful and huge. The look off was so high that my friends and I saw the top of a cloud, and the water in the bay of Fundy was unbelievably warm. There were so many cool rocks, and the waterfall area was super cool.

We were going to drive from Quebec to PEI with no stops in New Brunswick. We ended up staying in this park for 15 days and still felt like we needed more time! Unreal hikes without the crowds you get in other places. Campgrounds get VERY busy and loud but it is a great place to vacation. The Salmon River hike is great, and quiet. Waterfall hikes and hikes along Fundy Bay are also amazing.

Lots of people have already posted pictures of the beautiful sceneries. I just want to recommend the Cookhouse. They are the savior of our hungry stomaches when we didn't bring our lunch. The delicious sandwiched are hand made by their staff with fresh ingredients at reasonable prices. The chocolate cookies are so yummy that my kids gobbled a dozen a flash. The staff are so nice and friendly. If you're hungry, it's a great place to go!

Such a beautiful park to visit. There is a small entrance fee but it's not too much. Lots of trails to choose from. I did Mathews head trail. Very senic and lots to do. Make sure to stop at the visitor center to use the washroom as the other washroom is a little far away.

Roosevelt Campobello International Park

Mentioned on
Park
Nature & Parks
Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a vast nature park located on the southernmost part of Campobello Island. The main attraction here is the Roosevelt Cottage, which was once Franklin D Roosevelt's summer home and has now been converted into a museum displaying original furniture and artifacts from his time as president. Adjacent to this cottage is Hubbard House, which was built in 1891 and also open to visitors.
Beautifully preserved and presented house of President Roosevelt. Tours are free and the guides do a great job taking you through the house and telling you about the history. An important stop for anyone visiting Campobello.

Such a beautiful spot filled with so much history! It was torrential rain when I was there, so I didn't get a chance to fully explore all the trails in the park. I think a second trip may be needed! My tour guide was wonderful and brought alive the spirit of the Roosevelts. The Visitor's Center is full of information as well as fun souvenirs.

A great park of the history... Its a must to be seen when coming to Campobello Island.. The upkeep of this cottage and the grounds is phenominal...Loved the story telling :)

Campobello is a friendly quiet beautiful place. My wife and I spent the day on the island with our dogs. If you're into hiking, there's plenty to do. You can drive to most of the site seeing places. Go there!
Douglas Leonard — Google review
We've been to many national parks over the years, but this was our first international park (as in a park run by two countries). The park offered a fascinating look into the recreational life of FDR and his families. You could tour their palatial summer cottage, have high tea while enjoying a talk on Elinor Roosevelt, stroll along the tree-lined lane, and more. Plus, there's nature trails and a 19th century lighthouse. Well worth the trip over the border for sure!
Nathan Deremer — Google review
One of the best kept secrets of Campobello Island at least each time I mention the Island to a mainlander and they say where. Well home to President Roosevelt's summer cottage, oh really then I have there attention. Got to see the cottage on our recent trip this year from the front and from the water. Have been through the cottage many times as a kid and this past visit was sorry it was closed to the pandemic but hopefully next visit I will get another trip though the grounds and inside.

This is a special place, both for it's beauty and the history. Our second visit, with friends who were there for the first time. The buildings are in fine shape, the grounds are lovely and peaceful. The highlight is tea with Eleanor, don't miss it. Fine hiking in the park well worth your time.

One of the best park experiences we've had anywhere, even though it was a rainy day. Wonderful, super-helpful and knowledgeable staff. We learned so much about the Roosevelt family. Start at the Visitor Center, where you can get a map and see a short orientation film. Tours of the Roosevelt "cottage" are in small groups every few minutes. Tours of the Hubbard Cottage are on your own. We had lunch at the Prince Cafe, then went to Eleanor's Tea, which is a very good 45-minute presentation by staff on Eleanor Roosevelt, accompanied by tea and gingersnaps. (Guys, this is not your grandmother's tea--you'll enjoy this. Tip: sit where you can see the monitor over the fireplace--they'll show photos while they're speaking.) All free.
Linda Suskie — Google review
So much history here that has been beautifully maintained. Highly recommend attending “Tea with Eleanor” if you get the chance. The staff were so knowledgeable and kind!
Josie Glidden — Google review
The tour is guided and free. Liz guided us through the home offering many details about the historical aspect of the summer cottage. We learned a lot about FDR and Eleanor, as well as their family. This park is still operated by both the US and Canada. Enjoy lunch at the Prince Cafe. We ate a BLT, Chicken pesto panini, and hot dog. Each entree came with chips and dill dip. We also endulged in a brownie sundae, delicious. Hope you enjoy your trip!

A special place indeed. An "international park" as they call it, although you must be in Canada for visit. The site of President Roosevelt's summer cottage and area he met his wife. When we went the visitors center had just closed, but the staff were extremely helpful in going back inside unprompted and providing us with maps and assistance. They went the extra mile and made our brief trip well worth it. The cottage itself seems marvelous. There are views looking out to Eastport, Maine which seems so close you could cast a stone to it's shores. The trails make for lovely strolls. Worth a visit.

We had such a lovely visit and our tour guide Landen was full of historical facts and entertaining detail. This is a wonderful place to spend the day and learn about Franklin Delano Roosevelt and family.

If you're interested in History, you need to visit this park. It's currently the only international park in the world, it's jointly funded by both Canada and the USA, it has been maintained perfectly.

Beaverbrook Art Gallery

Museums
Art Museums
The Beaverbrook Art Gallery, established in 1959 by Lord Beaverbrook, showcases an impressive collection of British, Canadian and First Nations art, including works by internationally renowned artists such as Dali, Freud, Gainsborough and Turner. The gallery also features changing exhibits of contemporary Atlantic art. Visitors can enjoy a sculpture garden and the museum's professional displays. Despite its size, the gallery offers a solid experience for art enthusiasts with intriguing exhibits like the recent mask exhibit.
The art museum is like a time-traveling storyteller, gathering cool art pieces from all sorts of times and places. You can see how art and culture tag-teamed with human history, telling a tale of creativity across the ages. But it's not just a history lesson; it's a vibe for new artists too. They get their own spotlight, making the museum this awesome mix of old-school classics and fresh, out-of-the-studio artworks. And can we talk about how well they keep the place? It's like an art sanctuary, always looking fly and ready for visitors. So, if you're into checking out how our artistic vibes have changed and evolved, or if you're a budding artist looking for a spot to shine, this museum's got your back. Totally worth a visit! 🎨✨

A very solid and professional art gallery for its size with great exhibits. So glad it has been reopened. I found the mask exhibit very intriguing. I do wish a cafe were available there though.
Heather — Google review
Fantastic artwork of a crow made out of tires on the outside entrance to the gallery. Fantastic! We just missed touring the gallery as it was closed temporarily, but the art on the outside of the building is enough to bring us back for another look.
Krista Whitehouse — Google review
Interesting, varied collection. Just the right size for about an hour and a half for a family (preteen and teen kids) to see everything. The gallery is clean and a great value. Highlights were the Andy Warhol and Salvador Dali!
Beth Poliquin — Google review
This has always been a wonderful gallery, and the new wing is a perfect addition. Lots of room for temporary exhibits, and a visiting artist studio open to visitors of the gallery. There is a trendy coffee shop in the new addition. The website offers all kinds of workshops and presentations. The Dali has been moved, and looks much smaller in its new location in the gallery. The new space is incredibly lovely and peaceful.
Brenda Berry Berry — Google review
A lovely gallery. I enjoyed the art. There are lockers (no food or bottles/liquid in the gallery), restrooms, a nice gift shop, and a small cafe on site. There are ~7 rooms. You start with the Canadian artists, move on to international, up and coming artists, and then Dali. We went on Thursday evening, which happened to be a 'donate what you can' evening.

Nice layout. Very clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Enjoyed all the beautiful artwork can't wait to go back.

We stopped by the Beaverbrook Art Gallery for the Gallery hop during Frostival and we really liked it! Good art displays - both from local and national artists. The lady at the front desk was really helpful on providing info and directions to the lockers where we could store our stuffs. While the visit was overall good, we didnt really like the attitude of the security guards. We were rudely told by one of the guards to not touch the art display when we clearly were NOT and we felt constantly followed.
Vanessa — Google review
What a changes this gallery has expanded greatly since I was last here as a child. The artists, exhibits, and styles are diverse. Even though it may seem small at first, you can easily spend a couple of hours here if you take your time. It has a cafe, outdoor sculptures surrounding the property, a small gift shop and two levels of galleries. Note, you can't bring food or drink into the galleries.
Andrew N. Byrne — Google review
A New Brunswick iconic destination for all. Serving the international , Maritime and local art lover communities .
Donna Gardiner Thompson — Google review
The exhibits change periodically in certain locations but all the artwork is fascinating to view. Featuring both local artists from the region in the near present and also the past centuries. International artists' paintings are a great touch and some come from the Renaissance era in Europe. If you want a guided tour you can talk to the knowledgeable gallery curator. The only reason this gallery does not get a five-star is one of the security guards followed me throughout the time I was there, slightly stinted an otherwise enjoyable time at the gallery. I still will return.
FireStar Night — Google review
OMG , this art gallery was amazing! The guide was fun and the entire tour was great to be a part of with fun anecdotes and talks.

My partner and I liked the art, and the price is reasonable, too. There is a discount for students, and they sell souvenirs.
Kateryna Rudenko — Google review
Beautiful art gallery, went on a Friday morning around 11, and it was not busy. The only down side, you have security breathing down your neck. My husband and I were enjoying looking at the beautiful art pieces, and we had a security come over and tell us to move back from the painting. I was shocked and a little upset. We were respecting the art pieces and minding our own business. I know they have a job, but I felt like we were being watched because we are a younger looking couple. Hopefully, they will tell the guards to chill and let people enjoy the artwork.

We were staying at Hilton Gardens, about 5 minutes walk. We went twice in a 6 day visit to Fredericton. Friday evening about 6 ish. There was an event occupying about 1/2 of the gallery we were not allowed to vist, but we got to see the gallery collection of masters and some modern art. They have a surprisingly broad collection of Reynolds, Constable, Group of Seven, Carr, 14th century works as well as a Monkman with Chief Eagletesticle, current events, interactive work and more. We spent 2 hours including an Artist's talk in the basement discussing his 3d animation work. A couple of days later we went back to see the half we missed and it was just as impressive. Mostly more modern works by people I haven't heard of (which means nothing, I am not particularly knowledgeable about modern art) but there dies seem to be emphasis on Canadian work. I was particularly interested in the first nations work, an exhibition of Kentucky Asheville looked remarkably related to the Woodland Style of Norway Morrisseau I am more familiar with being from the prairies. The cafe was very good too. Nice place for a cuppa while you rested up a bit. They had a menu item called Cream Egg, which I assumed was some sort of sweet treat (thinking of Cadbury Eggs) but turned out to be a nice hot and filling soup. Sort of like a potato and bacon chowder served over a soft boiled egg. Really good and a very adequate lunch. We were there during the eclipse of 2024 so there were also family related artsy activities for families and visitors on Sunday which were fun too. All in all, I would recommend a visit, and since I only get to Fredericton infrequently I will make sure to visit every time as the content constantly changes
Daniel Roscoe — Google review
Beautiful collection, friendly and welcoming staff. Spend just over an hour there but could have been there for longer if you wanted to spend a bit more time. If you are stopping in Fredricton, certainly worth checking out!
Philippe Tremblay — Google review
Some interesting pieces, particularly those creates by Mikmaq and Wolastoqiyik artists. I'd like to see more of a focus on NB artists in the capital region. Complete and utter lack of Acadian representation.

Moosehead Breweries Ltd. is a brewery that offers excellent beer and brewery tours with exceptional service in Saint John. Their Sugar Bush beer stands out as the best beer on the market, surpassing even German, Dutch, and Czech lagers in terms of taste and quality. The staff at Moosehead are friendly and knowledgeable, providing great suggestions for food.
Clear, smooth, full bodied, with just hint of sweetness. The best commercial lager beer on the market, even when compared to the Germans, Dutch and Czechs.

Great taproom. They have all your local favorites. They had live music on a Friday evening and it was great.
Martin Mendoza — Google review
Went to the taproom and had a fantastic time talking with the servers. They had excellent beer. The sugar Bush is by far the best beer I've ever had. The staff was so friendly and gave us a great suggestion for food afterwards. We booked a brewery tour and it had to be cancelled do to a storm. The boss called me and let me rearrange the tour time for the next day when they don't even have tour times. Excellent service and will highly recommend to anyone who travels to Saint John.
Raelyn Farrell — Google review
We took a tour and it was an amazing experience. Our guide Em introduced the history of Moosehead brewery, we get to see the production line, and the beer they are making there. Even get to try a variety of samples during the tour. Tour end at the taproom where we got to try a bit more samples, and had a pint. Great finish, tour is super informative and interesting, our guide Em is friendly and fun too! Highly recommend the tour, or a drink in the taproom if you are in Saint John.
Susan Wang — Google review
Come thirsty and leave happy! There's a lot of history behind this brewery and they're clearly proud of it. Both the history and the process of making beer was fully explained by a fantastic guide. It was an enjoyable time for sure. I love how they kept us in small groups. Samples at the beginning along with a keepsake glass. Then you get to try the freshest beer you'll ever taste straight off the line.
Chris Adam — Google review
We did a tour of the brewery with Emily!! She was great! Very knowledgeable and passionate about the history and the product!! Moosehead Canadian Lager has been a favorite of mine for years, but I didn't realize all the other things that Moosehead is involved in. I'd mention it here, but you'll need to have your own tour!!!! Thanks again Emily!!
James McCombs — Google review
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Anthony, was fantastic in providing information and answering questions, while keeping it fun and well paced. During the tour there is the opportunity to sample some standard Moosehead beers and see the production line. The tour ends in their public tasting room which allows one to sample and purchase some of their special small batch productions. If I lived anywhere close to Saint John, I feel I would become a regular face to their overly pleasant staff.
John Frazier — Google review
In short I'd say it's a waste of time, don't bother especially if you're visiting Saint John with little time to spare. Tour was an hour, mostly focused on the history of the brewery (our guide was great btw). We got to sample some of their small batches which was nice and got a bird's eye view of some idle packaging machines. We didn't get to see the process of making beer (no milling, mashing...) which was a bummer. I don't know if the tour always had this format or if they changed it post pandemic but as it stands I'd say don't bother.
Z K — Google review
Super fun and informative! The tour is completely worth it: I learned tons about the history of Moosehead and also had a chance to sample some of their great beer. Would highly recommend it for people interested in history.

Port City Royal is a restaurant in Saint John that serves creative local fare, beer, wine and cocktails. The establishment has exposed brick walls and provides a unique atmosphere for dining. The cocktails are especially popular among patrons, who often have an emotional reaction to the food.
Love the atmosphere drinks and amazing service. Can't wait to come back :) felt like New Orleans. Great vibes!
Amy Bragdon — Google review
Not a whole lot on the menu to choose from. And very expensive. Nice little atmosphere, but cost us $70 for two and we didn’t enjoy our meals much.
J J — Google review
I've been here a few times and every dish was delicious! No complaints about the service or atmosphere. I found that $17 cocktails and $8 margaritas was too much. The drinks were good but the margaritas were small. Their 3-course dinner is reasonably priced in my opinion though.
Dean — Google review
Food was high quality and flavorful, staff were very welcoming and accommodating specially considering they were short staffed that night. Menu is a bit pricey but would recommend for special occasions. Cozy and dark atmosphere with clean washrooms.
XXexxodXX — Google review
Food was overall alright. The bread & butter, pea soup and tuna tartare were delicious. The pasta-like dish was quite salty. And the dessert had individual elements that were either too sweet or too sour, and it was hard trying to get that balance of sweet & sour with each bite. Would still like to try again hoping for a better main and dessert the next time around.
Wooje Choi — Google review
I don't often have an emotional reaction to my dinner, but everything here is just so good. Several of the best cocktails I've ever had were right here in li'l olde Saint John, thanks to Port City Royal. If you get the chance to try the eggnog before the end of the Christmas season: take it.
Christa Mabee — Google review
This place was overall ok however I think it’s worth a visit to see for yourself. In my opinion the menu seems to be hit and miss. I would go again and just try different items and if it missed the mark for me I wouldn’t go back a third time. They are going for a more upscale dining experience but fail to deliver that on a couple fronts (see below for details). They need to do some editing to their dishes (components and presentation) and then I would give them 10/10. Came here for a business meal with potential clients and ordered two bottles of wine (one red one white) for the table. When we wanted a second bottle of each we had to get a different kind because there was no backup supply. I had the Suarez cocktail, it was basically a fancy margarita. Was very tasty but was small for the price and the glass it was served in + presentation was underwhelming. For a fancy cocktail and price tag the glassware and garnishes need to be on point. For food we ordered a few orders each of fried halloumi (very good!!), charcuterie board (good), sourdough (good). the charcuterie board had some strange items like a chicken patty that was sliced into triangular prisms, reminiscent of liverwurst. The rest of the accompaniments were ok; brie, aged cheddar (loved this), gherkins, pickled fiddleheads, house pickles, some kind of kimchi relish (lacked flavour and out of place) and apricot preserves. All served with crostini. I felt everything was just ok, nothing too special and lacked cohesiveness. sourdough was served with molasses whipped butter, I wish there would have been traditional salted butter as an option as well. I personally ordered the three course meal. Appetizer was amazing!!!! roasted broccoli with sweet potato (I think?) and pickled duck egg. It was very good 10/10 Entree was strip loin on mashed potato with horseradish jus and glazed / roasted onions. I wasn’t a fan of the grilled onions, I felt they took away from the dish and would prefer a more traditional side to a steak dinner. They also pour the sauce all over your dish so that also overtook the flavour. 7/10 Dessert was ok. Some components were very good like the white chocolate and almond bark, that was 10/10. the cake itself was dry. the strawberry rhubarb compote was good but unfortunately had raw rhubarb which negatively affected flavour (really tart) and texture (crunchy). ginger ice cream- again out of place, should just be vanilla… overall 7/10
Danielle K — Google review
WOW. Food, staff, service. All amazing. It was our second anniversary, I had flowers delivered there, they weren’t even open yet and they took them. The food is so good. The charcuterie board is out of this world, highly recommend it. I had the bbq beef brisket tonkatsu ramen, (mmmmmm….ramen) and my fiancé had the spinach ravioli. The shrimp and fritters…..Omg that sauce.

Had the pleasure of dining here this evening. Small but comfortable. Food was awesome, service extraordinary. Enough attention without feeling like you're being hovered over. Charcuterie board was wonderful with a different variety. Perfect portion sizes, perfect service perfect atmosphere with music not blaring and being able to carry on a conversation. Thank you for a great night and we'll definitely return. Unique cocktails that were delicious. Don't let looks deceive this is a place we'll worth visiting!! Highly recommend

The place is in the middle of an alleyway which is pretty cool. very hipsteresque, and the service was good. started off with 20 oysters which were fresh. then moved onto the cheese starter as well as the pickles which were good. what stole the show however was the chicken liver. I was ready to order a second round but i knew i had more food coming. ordered the burger which was cooked nicely and washed it down with another 8 oysters. i would highly reccommend this place.

One of the oldest farmers market in Canada. Lots of history here. Love the architecture and interior space. However when I visited in October 2021, there were only a few vegetable vendors. Mostly vendors selling arts and crafts. I assume it is due to the pandemic, and business has been slower than usual and it is the end of the growing season.

Quite an interesting market to visit. There were a lot of vendors. This was our first time, and one can only assume pre Coronavirus this place would have been packed. There's a lot of vendors here, ranging from food, to clothes and everything in between. One of the few places I've seen with some British treats in Saint John for anyone from overseas craving a little taste of home.

Fabulous. A historic market building AND a lively working market AND fresh coffee?!? I am in!! There was a good assortment of food and local and/or touristy items available. Being a cruise ship visitor I couldn’t buy any fresh food to take back with me but I certainly wanted to. I think my favorite thing was the dulse that they had for sale!!!

Love the vibrancy.. Although not all the stalls are being used, those that are being are super awesome.. Including the food..

A beautiful historic building. Fabulous fresh produce, awesome looking meat at the butcher stalls, local artists selling their creations and great restaurants to pick up lunch. Plus seating on a covered patio.

Not what I was expecting. Too crowded and too narrow isles. Difficult to purchase due to overcrowd. I was looking for more like a craft place but there are restaurants stahls inside too.

Anyone visiting Saint John should be sure to visit the Saint John City Market. There is a lot to see here. You can buy articles made by local artists, pick up some fresh seafood, beef, fresh produce, etc. The architecture of the building along is worth the trip to view. Finding a parking space might take a bit of effort if you are not familiar with the area.

Always find what I'm looking for at the Market. Makes buying food for daily meals easy. Plus the atmosphere of the City Market is different than a regular grocery store.

I have seen this place in the past and it was always busy. As for today, it looks half empty. Yes, it wasn't a weekend day. Was a little disappointing. We came here for lunch. My daughter and I had Korean while my wife had a smoke meat sandwich. Both were delicious.
Yves Boucher — Google review
A fun place with many vendors. Grab some ingredients to cook at home, or get some prepared food from several restaurant vendors to eat in the outdoor seating area. Had great fried chicken from Chicken by Felix. Bought some whimsical art from Natasha Pilotte.
Chuck Lasker — Google review
Nice place to shop with a variety of meats, veg, and breads to choose from. Picked up some bread, cheese, and olives, as well as a couple of unique offerings like donair sauce and marmelade starter. Everyone was polite, attentive, and helpful, resulting in a very favorable experience.

A very eclectic group of artisans, restaurants, delis, and retailers grouped within a historic building located on the city's square in the downtown area. You can buy a cup of coffee before perusing all the various artist's booths, and then have a sit down lunch of various cuisines from around the world.
Peter Pontius — Google review
Must have been a slow time as not all the stalls are open during the lunch hour rush. A lot of food selections of all ethnicities to choice from like deli, Korean and Lebanese. We opted for the Korean and can say not the best we’ve had as it was cafeteria style and pre-made food. The chicken and rice cakes was in a sweet and sour sauce that was just too sweet and no heat. Overall the building itself is historic itself and take the time to look up and around the building. Saving gave of this place is Uncorked! A must stop to all things NB in a glass or two.

Touristy of course, but mixed in are some truly original items. And of course, because of the historical significance, definitely worth the time to visit. Avoid the cruise ship 🚢 crowds if you can.

Seafood restaurant
Nestled in Alma, New Brunswick, Tipsy Tails Restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its patio overlooking the marina. The restaurant takes pride in serving high-quality dishes, including local seafood, PEI beef ribs, and pulled pork with house-made kimchi. What sets this place apart is not only its picturesque location but also the fact that the chef doubles as a fisher during winter.
The food here is amazing! The chowder and lobster roll are must-haves. The chowder comes with the creamiest biscuits I've ever had. The owner was also very nice and friendly to us. If you visit Alma, definitely check this out.

What a place and amazing patio with an epic view! Outstanding service; Tara took exceptional care of us! Fun, friendly and witty.. The food was deliciously executed and the menu was so original. The "boogie fries" are awesome! ❤️ Heck... They even deep-fry the parsley before sprinkling it on! That's a classy (and sinful) touch. 👍😬

A fantastic restaurant! Everything we ordered was really good. The service was beyond good. The local microbrews on tap were first rate. The location is great with super easy access from the road. Inside seating is clean and comfortable and the patio out back overlooks the fishing boats. And a small local beach is just a short walk, perfect for an after meal stretch or to let the kids burn off some energy. Two thumbs up 👍👍

A perfect stop after hiking in the park. Food was awesome, prices very reasonable and even had some excellent local beers Our server took the time to show up on their map all the best hiking spots for us to explore while staying in the area.

Exceptional service and food. We arrived just when it opened and were greeted immediately. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurants menu. Cool vibes and washroom was clean. My favorite was the seafood chowder with chunks of seafood. Highly recommend stopping here before or after going into Funday National Park!!

Had the Seafood Chowder and Lobster roll here. Seafood chowder was decent, however the Lobster roll had too much sauce for my tastes. The service and ambience were lovely. Location is also good as a pitstop before entering Fundy National Park

AMAZING. The food was delicious. I had the chowder and my husband had the lobster roll (which I had some bites of) and clams. It was all so yummy. The best chowder and lobster roll that we’ve had on our trip so far. We ate on the covered deck which was actually nice considering it was raining and windy. It blocked most of the wind and we got to look at the cool sailboats. The owner (I’m assuming) is a very cool guy and friendly to talk to. He gave us some tips on the area. Definitely recommend!

The terrace setting was absolutely lovely and the food was delicious. We had the rum flambéd scallops in maple syrup and the seafood chowder - both exquisite! We would definitely go back.

When we go hopewell from Fundy National Park of Canada. We want to see low tide to Alma Harbour. Then We saw the Tipsy Tails Restaurant. I want to try Beautifully located on the water in Alma, the view can change drastically depending of the tide (low tide and high tide are twice a day). We chose to eat here at low tide to see The boats were above the ground. I was planning lobster roll. Dill mayonnaise mixed with lobster chunks stacked onto a fresh roll from a local bakery. Top notch! We also had a MARITIME SEAFOOD CHOWDER as delicious. I think it is best in NS. The food was delicious :) Recommend!

Went in on a whim and very glad we did. Hands down the best lobster roll I’ve had, the perfect balance of flavours, none overpowering the others. Even the salad was above expectations. A hidden gem for sure!

We came here for dinner, it was very busy and they asked if we had a reservation. We did not so my tip would be to make one if you’re interested in eating here on the patio. We ended up getting seated at a bar like table on the side of the restaurant which had a decent view. I got the lobster roll and my girlfriend got the pork tacos and both were very good. However, the service received was slow when it came to being checked on and getting our bill.

Beautifully located on the water in Alma, the view can change drastically depending of the tide (low tide and high tide are twice a day). We chose to eat here at high tide to see the boats in full water. The food was delicious :) I was planning on a whole lobster dinner but didn't feel like sinking $60 on lunch so chose to have the lobster roll instead. Dill mayonnaise mixed with lobster chunks stacked onto a fresh roll from a local bakery. Top notch! We also had a fish and chips meal that was equally as delicious. Ended the meal with sticky bun dessert. Recommend!

Was the perfect, water side restaurant! Waiter was most helpful and spent time taking our picture, along with telling us highlights in the area. The food was delicious. Lobster roll with salad, and Lobster Poutine! Would recommend highly!! Thank you to the gentleman who waited on us, (who's been a world traveler!)

Indian restaurant
Taj Mahal Moncton is a family-operated eatery serving flavorful Indian cuisine in a charming setting adorned with traditional decorations. It stands as the inaugural independent Indian restaurant in Moncton, owned and managed by individuals of Indian descent since its establishment in 2003. Garnering high ratings, it has become one of the finest dining establishments within the city.
Must try their chola bhatura best in Canada. They are open only from 4pm to 8pm and closed on Monday. It's worth to make a trip to moncton just to have their choley bhaturey .I have not tasted such even in India. They are the best.

Our first experience here was fantastic! Initially unsure about what to order, Gurleen (apologies if I misspelled the name) provided excellent recommendations and service. We enjoyed Butter Chicken, Beef Korma, Mango Lassi, Salted Lassi, Butter Naan, and Garlic Naan. However, a renovation would greatly enhance the ambiance, as the current look feels outdated.

Didn’t like the experience this time at Taj on 26th Feb, 2022. We were charged 14$ extra plus applicable taxes for the alcohol which we never ordered. Went through the bill, I thought it was just 7$ extra, so got the refund immediately from them. After reviewing the bill again, we were charged another 7$. We were sitter on table 8, got charged for table 9. Roti was not cooked properly, chicken tikka was delicious. We came from Saint John, highly disappointed.

We went with a group of 11 people and ordered both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Vegetarian Starter- Chili Panner was awesome, we liked so much that we had ordered twice. Main Course- We have ordered dal Makhni, Kadai Panner and Malia Kofta. They all are good in taste. Generally, we saw Malia Kofta gravy sweet in taste, although in Taj you will find spicy which is good for the people who likes Malia Kofta spicy. Breads-Onion Kulcha taste was best, Garlic Naan, Butter and Plain Naan was also good. Non-vegetarian We tried Rogan Josh and Chicken Tikka Masala those were good in taste. Area of improvement: 1)Ambience- the lighting should be proper among restaurant and the wall paintings should be catchy. 2) Starter- the items should be more for vegetarian like Chinese -noodles, Manchurian or South Indian - dosa, idly or chap 3) Quantity- it was less, you can increase the price little bit, however please increase the quantity of food. 4) Drinks - Mango Lassi please make it sweet. Looks like the mangoes that was used in preparing the lassi that was sour in taste, although presentation was good.

I honestly don’t understand how this place can get any low reviews at all... Based on my experience, i can’t help but wonder if whoever left them went to an entirely different restaurant. I was here for lunch twice in two days and I think I’ll do my best to come back once more before I leave Moncton tomorrow. The food, the service, everything is simply amazing. I’ve been to excellent Indian restaurants but this place is simply another level. I’ve had the Dal Soup both days and then the Butter chicken as main dish yesterday and the Lunch platter today. Everything was just perfect. Thank you!!

We came here on our way back home, amazing food, we had, samosa chat, paneer chilli, rogan josh, and garlic naans. Everything was authentic . The mutton was sooo tender and the masala was out of this world!!! Saloni, our server was friendly, explained the menu and dishes perfectly. Kudos to her! Definitely a must visit place in Moncton for Indian cuisine. LOVED IT!!!

Located in downtown Moncton, this reasonably priced India cuisine is one of the top 3 restaurants in the city regardless of its specialty. Nice atmosphere with consistent good service. Their lunch specials are quick and delicious, like everything on their menu. They do takeout as well. Highly recommended.

I recently dined at this amazing Indian restaurant and had an outstanding experience. The chole bhature were bursting with authentic flavors, and the non-veg thali offered a delightful variety. The portions were generous, and the service was quick and fast. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine!"

I ordered chole bhturae and the taste was so bad. It looks like they serve the stale food and they didn’t change the oil in which they fried bhturae. After having the chole bhturae we suffered from sore throat. Even we left the food on the table we can’t eat the whole thing just because it started makes our stomach hurt and sore throat. Nobody have enough time to gave you a fake review but if anybody put a review then please try to take it serious and tried to improve it. I hope this helps your business growth also .

Wow Parked in front by chance while going to the international street art festival ( wasn’t much to do/ see). Walking back to my car I couldn’t help but follow my nose as my stomach growled from the amazing scents coming from the restaurant. Staff were all very friendly. Food was delicious. Probably the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever eaten and I live in mill woods AB

Went for a quick lunch. Cleanliness okay, Ambience okay, staff friendly. If we order a veg Thali it will look like a typical Indian hostel canteen/PG food. Neither pricey nor generous in quantity but worth a visit during lunch hours.

I stopped in for a quick lunch at Taj today. Tandoori chicken is one of my favourite dishes across any cuisine. No one makes it better than Taj! Some of the items on their menu is truly world class! Chilli chicken and chilli fish to name a couple! Wonderful chai as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One thing I like about this place is that the people are very friendly. They greet you with warm welcome and make you feel at home. The ambience is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere at the Taj Mahal gives you a feeling of being in a authentic Indian restaurant. I met the owner of this establishment in person. He is a young and very energetic person with a pleasant personality. He has an excellent team of professionals who are passionate and proud of their work. Not only I see them take their job seriously, but also I did notice that they enjoy what they do. A real customer service is shown here. The waitress led me to a well set table and ensured that I was comfortably seated. She then asked me if I would like a glass of cold or warm water to drink. Then she gave me the menu and let me be alone to decide what I would like to eat. The À la carte has the right price tag attached to it. So, I ordered Chicken Tikka and Ginger ale. I requested not to make it spicy as don't have good tolerance for heat. They served this wonderful dish. As I took a bite, I felt that it was genuine. They have a great chef, who cooks fresh food. I did go back several times until the day I had to head back to my home. I really liked every single meal and the snacks that I tried. I was served with mouth watering delicacies and I savoured every bit of it with joy and gladness in my heart. The entire place is really clean. I do recommend this place.

Thandi is a high-end, family-owned restaurant with a hip vibe that has been serving delicious Asian fusion dishes and local beers since 2006. The menu offers a tantalizing fusion of East and West flavors, featuring steaks, seafood, chicken, and authentic Indian curries prepared with great care and attention to detail. This popular restaurant is known for its amazing mosaic of flavors that combine the best of Eastern and Western cuisines.

Very beautiful interior and atmosphere, our service was excellent and they were able to make a last minute reservation for us. I got the Matar paneer and it was delicious with great portion sizes (enough for lots of leftovers). My husband got the mango chicken entree and really enjoyed it. A little bit more expensive but we really enjoyed the Indian food they had.

Food is typically very good and our goto for Indian cosine. Had not so great experience today when ordering cheesecake. Cheeskakes here were portioned very liberally but tonight it feels like portions were halved but the price remained. Pictured was 10$.

We are here with Friends on business trip. The curry menu is very good and the portion is generous. The price is on the high side but the services and foods are exceptional. We are here in the evening. So, parking is not a big problem. But if you drop by for lunch, parking could be tricky. We will come back and try other menus.

Out of all the restaurants I went to in Saint John, Thandi was the most crowded! The place was packed for a random Wednesday and with good reason, their food and service was fantastic. Their curries come with naan and rice so they're super filling and it was delicious too. We ordered mango lassi along with our meal, I'd definitely recommend it.

I had the spicy Thai chicken. This was my first visit. For the price there should be more chicken, I found there was not a lot. Service was great. I believe his name was Darryl. Kept filling out water quickly and checked in on us for drinks too. Would go back!

Food was alright. I ordered the spicy pad thai which really didn't taste much like pad thai. Other people in my party enjoyed their stuff a lot, not really for me. Not bad, but not great either.

Delicious. The bread “Nachos” are killer. Wings are like I make at home, absolutely no flair to justify the cost. Won Ton Soup is fusion and so we get that, and it was very filling, but it’s technically not good. Floury taste and under seasoned jammed with odd ingredients stealing from it’s simplicity. The Pad Thai is delicious but not really Pad Thai. Woke bathrooms. Will be back, but not as enthusiastic as we were before having tried it.

One word ... EXCEPTIONAL! Wow, the food and service were amazing. Keith our server was wonderful. And as for the food ... the chicken vindaloo was incredible: so much meat, fresh, very little potato padding, and a great sauce. I asked for extra spicy and oh boy it was exactly as requested: super spicy but it still had all the flavours. Note that every meal comes with rice and naan included, so on that basis it's great value. One criticism: the naans appeared to be shop-bought, not authentic, maybe they don't have a tandoor oven to make naans in house. BTW the wine is very reasonably priced! I cannot speak highly enough of the food and ambience (this place is in a gorgeous old brick building). See pics
