Reefs
Smith's Reef is a renowned coral reef region popular for its vibrant and exceptional marine life, making it an attractive spot for snorkeling. The beach offers great opportunities to explore the underwater world with sightings of turtles, rays, and various colorful fish. One can access the snorkeling area by swimming a short distance from the shore; however, water shoes are necessary due to rocky terrain.
The perfect snorkel spot - get ready to see loads of sea turtles, colorful fish, and spotted rays! The best snorkel spots are beyond the marked buoys. We would start off swimming away on the left side of the buoys until you hit the next reef area and we never regretted it. You'll have the place all to yourself. During our week trip the most people in the water with us at one time might have been 8-10 people. Must see!

Great snorkeling location near Turtle Cove Marina. You can access it via Coconut road or by walking from the marina. Lots of small fish to see in the various coral reefs. Turtles, Rays, and Barracuda can be found as well. We've seen a few very large schools of bigger fish further out into the sea... Amazing to see! Water shoes or flippers are a must. Lots of sea urchins closer to shore. Beach is walkable all the way to Grace Bay, but no shade, so an umbrella would be useful if you plan to stay awhile.

This is a wonderful place to snorkel. We found early morning snorkeling was the best as it had the most activity. You'll see sea turtles and if you're lucky Sea rays or a nurse shark. There are also flounder in the sand and schools of other fish. Here are some of my videos I took with my GoPro
Mike Hughes — Google review
Bring your own snorkeling gear to this great location for viewing sea life! We saw squid, sea turtles, lots of fish, sea urchins and much more. I recommend water shoes if you just plan on wading into the water, as it is pretty rocky.
Rebecca Schuler — Google review
Great quite area for snorkeling and swimming. We went multiple days here and each time was a different experience and well worth the time. Start at the parking area on the west side of Coconut drive, swim out a ways and then head towards the north point. You can swim around the point as well but from what I remember there's an empty area for a ways until you get about halfway to Grace Bay. The area has a lot of different sea life and nice coral areas though there is some bleaching in parts. We saw manta rays, sting rays, lots of turtles and lots of different fish.
Jason Gibson — Google review
A great reef marked by bouys. There are several areas outside the marked area that are also fantastic. We saw octopus and turtles here. Coral in various stages and forms. Very much alive and full of fish. This beach is rocky for an entry for most of the way. The reef is about 300 yards east of the parking area. It's worth being in the water 75 to 100 yards before the marked area if the beach is crowded. Parking area is safe but leave no valuables in your car. There are no guards or attendants. There are alot of sand burrs between the parking area and beach so I would wear flips fyi. Would recommend putting on fins and backing into the water if you are on a rock entry. Swim as soon as it is deep enough. Rock entry is painful on bare feet. All beaches are public, you can set up your beach spot in front of the villas near the tide line. Reef safe sunscreen is a great idea and remember to keep your fins up high to not kick the reef.
Eric Plourde — Google review
Cool area, make sure you walk down the beach to where it bends. There is a spot to walk in the water away from the rocks and reef is easier to spot. You can tell it's the right spot by the circle of bouys in the water, just make sure not to enter as this is a reef rehabilitation area. Be careful of boats, many went by very close to us without much concern that people were in the water.
Ryan Fonville — Google review
A decent place to snorkel around and see a variety of fish and coral. While not as colorful as other reefs in the Caribbean it is one of the bigger ones on Provo. We did see a few sea turtles and Manta ray while out. When at the point with the rocks and walk out and explore around as there are various sections of the reef distributed in the area.
Michael Heidner — Google review
Great snorkeling experience! Saw lots of colorful fish, beautiful choral, turtles every day, and a beautiful, large pair of spotted rays! Wonderful video and pics in the crystal clear water (can't post with this as they are still on my GoPro.
David McKune — Google review
Gorgeous reef with lots of fish and sea life just off of the beach. Recommend snorkeling along the sides of the beach and close to the shore rocks. You cannot rent snorkel gear here. Easy to get to by car. When you arrive in the residential area there's a smaller sand road that takes you right to the parking lot.
Adrian Santini — Google review
Incredible access point for snorkeling in Turks. Beautiful beach. Stingrays and sea turtles are there to find.
A L — Google review
It’s my favorite snorkeling and swimming place .Must must visit .Parking is small but always with some free spots . There are couple of palm trees and natural shades .The reef is well marked with floating orange marks with clear instructions how to approach. Amazing experience.
Marija S. — Google review
Nice place to SUP and snorkel. Tons of fish and reef to explore. You could spend a whole day around the reef, easily. The water was calm, warm and very clear.
Heather Bottorff — Google review
Short walk (~1/4 mile) from parking lot at end of Coconut (at the marina) to the reef. The best spots start about 200 yds. beyond the palm/hammock (see picture attached). Reef areas are 10-40 yards off shore. Water depth 6-20ft. The sun's rays illuminate the coral. Water conditions can vary quite a bit depending upon wind conditions and time of year. Slight current. Late spring (May-June) tended to have calmer water. Spectacular waters, on calm days like clear blue glass! Healthy reef with abundant and diverse fish population, rays, and corals. Strictly a “bring your own gear” site. Best for adult swimmers. Note: Leave valuables at home. We were advised to leave car windows down when parking the car in remote lots. Thieves will get the message that there is nothing of value. Also Note: This review is based on two visits, 2015 and 2016. The island experienced a hurricane since then. The resort area has been fully restored. I do not know what, if any, damage the storm, and climate change, have done to the reef. Check more recent photos for info on that.
NC Hewat — Google review
Getting here is a bit tricky. Take a left onto Coconut Road and follow until it dead ends. There is a narrow gravel driveway at the end of the road that looks like it might be private property. It isn't. Keep driving back the lane and it will open up into a parking lot. From here, you can walk straight onto the beach. If your going to snorkel, once you get to the beach, take a right and walk for about 1,000 to 1,500 feet. You'll know you found the reef when you see the orange buoys that surround it. The walk is worth it. This is some amazing snorkeling. From the moment you step into the water, you can see swarms of fish, even before you get close to the reef. We saw 6 or 8 turtles (including a baby). They surfaced about 2 feet away from me. So cool. We also saw a giant ray and just a ton of beautiful fish. I could have spent all day out there. If you are at all interested in snorkeling, you've got to check this spot out!
Rob Long — Google review
Go during low tide. Lots of turtles an rays as well as an assortment of other fish species. It’s free and the only reef accessible by just swimming out. No boat required.

Long Bay Beach is a well-known and popular coastline in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, with extensive stretches of fine white sand and clear turquoise water surrounded by lush vegetation. It's a perfect spot for kite surfers and water sports enthusiasts due to the stronger winds on this part of the island.
A beautiful beach with a beautiful view. The longbay beach has the beach walk is so relaxing. You can go there to unwind yourself, relax and do what you wanna to keep yourself calm and composed.

Really like this beach. Not as busy as Grace Bay. Very long and nice to walk along. Quite a lot of jetski as wreck close by but guys only ask once if interested and don't pester you. Do have to walk a long way out for any depth if you want to swim!!! Soft white sand, beautiful water. Lovely. Some people mentioned that it was hard to get on, but we found 2 places with easy access to beach - one where you parked on road and crossed over to the path and another further along where you could drive down to a kind of car park. Just googled beach access on maps!!
K T — Google review
Best beach we visited in Turks but be careful if you have a rental car. Two of my tires were slashed / punctured while I went to the beach on 12/23/2023 at 11am

Beautiful beach. Great sand. Gentle slope into water.
Clemens Imgrund — Google review
Lots of seaweed here despite workers attempting to rake it up. The sand was also littered with sticks and debris, not too nice to walk on. The parking lot (which is right next to The Shore Club) was very small and jam packed. It is a beautiful view but there are much better beaches on the island. I wouldn't bother with Long Bay unless water sports is your thing!
Rob Long — Google review
Sea weed lines the beach both in the water and on the beach itself. The public parking lot is small and somewhat of a walk through the sand. Otherwise, it's a nice beach.
Parth Patel — Google review
This is a nice beach for sunrise and/or wind sports. Basically, if you're interested in Kite Surfing, go here. Expect to throw down several hundred dollars to do so, but if it's your cup of tea, go for it. The sunrise was beautiful here and the beach is super long and pretty. There are tons of conch shells and nice views of resorts and villas. If you're looking for where to park, type "Kitesurf Turks and Caicos Island" into your maps. It is on a curved road. You want the eastern-most point of this road. I would love to see this place (at least the public entrance) have better attention paid to litter.
David Lamb — Google review
You can walk out for miles in water up to the knee, beautiful clear water
Mo Q-A — Google review
Beautiful, breezy beach with shade. Lots of kite surfing here due to wind conditions. Beach access is easy to find by following the signs. Google Map directions to the public access point are incorrect.

I loved this beach! It is windy but the water color is just stunning. I could sit and watch the kite boarders for hours. So fun.

Provo Ponies

Provo Ponies is a stable that offers educational experiences and trail rides with a large number of rescued ponies. Visitors can enjoy riding on the back of an island horse regardless of their skill level or body type. The horses are specifically selected to ensure a comfortable experience for all riders. The beach ride is a unique and unforgettable experience where visitors can explore the beach while belly-deep in crystal clear Caribbean waters, enjoying the sunshine and nature around them.
We came to Turks and Caicos on vacation but had discovered Provo ponies prior to arriving. We booked our ride and absolutely loved it. The instructors were more than helpful, patient, and kind. The horses were of good size and well cared for, the ride was beautiful and perfect amount of time. We will absolutely be back on future trips.

Amazing experience all around. The staff was hospitable and welcoming upon entering and we were as greeted with all the necessities that I was unprepared for like shoes that can and will get wet and a fanny pack to bring your camera safely. The most important aspect of the experience was their love and care for the animals. We had the biggest horses with the calmest temperament, they were a pleasure to ride.
James Monforte — Google review
Loved our experience at Provo Ponies. Guides were great at personable. If you’re an experienced rider and want to have some fun, request Max. My fiancé had a blast with Max. Max LOVES the water.
Elizabeth Wright — Google review
LOVE Provo Ponies! If you are an animal lover this is a must visit on the island. This was our second trip to Provo and our second ride with Provo Ponies. We had an afternoon ride with two skilled and knowledgeable guides who did an excellent job managing riders with a variety of experience levels. I was lucky enough to ride the “boss lady” of the herd, Mango! I had a wonderful time in the ocean with Miss Mango and especially enjoyed when she ran in the water, it’s a feeling like no other! Everyone at Provo Ponies was warm and kind and you can tell they all really care about the animals and go above and beyond to care for them. They also give each rider personalized attention and instruction when they match you up with a horse to ensure you are comfortable before you start the ride. It makes for a really great experience for any rider. Make reservations well in advance because they are popular (deservedly so!).

I love Provo Ponies! We just returned from the island & I did my 3rd ride with them while there. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. The horses well cared for & not overworked. As a horse owner myself, I have been please with each trip!! Great job P. P

This was truly a once and a lifetime experience!! I am an advanced rider so I got to gallop a long the each with a sick video! The staff were super friendly and amazing! So happy my family and I went.
Ellie Newman — Google review
Absolutely amazing experience with the Provo Ponies crew. When they say all levels they mean it! I've only ridden a horse once before. My 7 year old daughter is a pretty advanced rider. They let her show her stuff and have fun while they (basically) held my hand because I was going to fall off any second! More importantly, you can tell that the crew is extremely passionate about caring for the horses. They know each horses personality, tendencies and behavior and match the rider up perfectly. This is an absolute must do!
Chris Johnston — Google review
If I could give 6 stars I would, the people running it and working it were friendly and helpful and their horses are well taken care of. We had to ride about a mile on the side of a mostly deserted road till we got to the beach and and just went into the water. Riding in the ocean is a once in a lifetime experience and it was as good or better than I expected. The horses were making funny noises as they were enjoying the water as mush as were were. There were riders in our group that have never ridden before all the way to us who own our own horses. I will be returning next year when I go back to Turks and Caicos.
David Bobrowsky — Google review
10 Gold Stars best horse tour experience, in the MOST BEAUTIFUL location! We loved our guide, the staff and all of the ponies looked loved, healthy and happy! Highly recommend!

all-around *spectacular* experience! the guides were incredibly attentive and helpful. each rider is introduced to their horse and told about their personalities and quirks, which made a first time rider like me feel very comfortable. the instruction was clear and the ride was STUNNINGLY beautiful. one of the most incredible experiences of my life, facilitated by wonderful employees. they even take amazing photos and videos of you during the ride. the horses seemed happy and well taken care of. an absolute must if you are visiting Provo!!

I grew up riding horse but our 9 year old daughter has only been on a horse once in her life. She was a bit nervous about how this ride would go but we both agreed that it was the highlight of our trip. Riding a horse in the ocean checked an item off my bucket list, it was simply a magical time. Grace and Eliza, our guides, were both very experienced around horses and kept us safe. Thanks for showing us the most beautiful beach around and helping us create such a fun memory together!
Abby Johnson — Google review
This was a once in a lifetime, very memorable experience. I did a private ride with the owner, Camille. She is very passionate about her rescue ponies and cares immensely for each of her horses. I never thought you could ride a horse in the water, but the horses really love it. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone.
Tony Edwards — Google review
This was definitely on the bucket list. They were very helpful and would use your cameras to take your pictures and they gave you plenty of ride time as well. Speaking of the ride, well they actually ride you out into the ocean and for a good while so be prepared to get cooled off and they have horses for all experience levels.
United Country JW Realty & Auction Services — Google review
We had the BEST experience booking with Provos! All the staff were friendly and I loved that they took the time to review the personality of your horse with you. Shows they really cared and wanted the best experience for horse and rider. They happily take photos for you while riding and take you to such a gorgeous spot that it honestly doesn’t feel real. 100% would book with them again.
Erin Soderstrom — Google review
My family had a blast. A note for large men, the weight limit is 180 lbs for all the horses except 1. I didn't ride because their 1 big horse was booked by another large guy. You get to ride through town and take the horses into the water. My kids and wife were grinning ear to ear. The staff was great and helped all of us first timers feel comfortable.
Daniel Duplantier — Google review
We had an amazing time at Provo Ponies! I have been riding my whole life and can assure these horses are incredibly well taken care of and are happy and healthy. The staff was very kind and helpful. Riding in the ocean was incredible — so beautiful and the horses love it. Would absolutely recommend this experience for horse lovers and anyone looking for a unique, fun time on the island. It’s important to remember that horses are animals, not machines! This place does an amazing job.

Non-profit organization
Potcake Place K9 Rescue is a non-profit organization located in the Salt Mills shopping plaza of Providenciales. The charity rescues Potcakes, which are a breed of dog found in the Bahamas and Turks & Caicos. These dogs were named after locals feeding stray dogs the caked remains of cooking pots. The organization is run completely by volunteers and aims to rescue as many Potcakes as possible through adoption programs.
So folks , you should all know how superiority has made this perfect canine so attractive. You will need to be a strong personality and be able to resist late age puppy aggression. Other than that, this dogs devotion is to the master till death do you part. Highly recommended . This is my love, Rue Pearl.

What a lovely kind and cute place it is! Dogs are being loved there and staff is very nice. We enjoyed walking Beyonce today🥰 i wish more people will get envolved into helping their small friends and of course doing donations to help the place run. We highly considering adopting from there in the future even though we live in NY. But turns out it is very possible.

I wanted to visit this dog rescue to donate. They are a lovely organization. The puppies and dogs are taken care of until they find a forever home. I took a few pictures of the sweet puppies. You can apply to adopt them and brought to the US. Hazelnut is the sweet puppy sitting in my pictures. I walked down and around after buying a shirt. I saw "hazelnut" in the arms of a woman!! She was just ADOPTED!!

This center does amazing work and the staff are so friendly. My girlfriend and I went on a Monday morning to volunteer for the daily puppy walks the center offers. We got to spend 3 hours with our pup and they gave all the necessary supplies we would need to take care of the little puppy. Definitely suck out this place for the great work they do and provide for the dogs!

Definitely get here early if you want to walk a pup. We arrived at 9 even though they do not open until 10 and we were one of 5 who got a puppy to walk. The volunteers here are amazing!!! They all are super helpful and take great care of these animals. You get a whole kit for your adventure with water treats toys and poop bags! Definitely will be adopting from here once we buy a house! It was such a great experience!!!

10/10 experience and rewarding! We took out popsicle for the day. She was the best beach pup and we would take her home in a second if we weren’t in California. So many beautiful puppies here looking for a forever home. The workers are amazing. Best thing we did while visiting TCI.

Had the fortune to be able to volunteer here for 6 days whilst on my vacation. The place is run by some of the most caring, dedicated, selfless people ,always ready to accept any puppy in need and give it love and affection. Amazing volunteer experience to walk & socialise with these absolutely adorable fury babies. My kids highly enjoyed this experience. The owner & her team are incredible for saving these dogs and finding them forever homes. You can adopt the dogs or give a donation to the shelter. Schedules are from 10-12.30. There's usually a queue outside the shop from 9am.

An amazing organization!! They put in so much effort and care to make sure all dogs can find a safe home. They give people the opportunity to walk and adventure with the dogs for socialization and to hopefully adopt. I went on vacation with the intent to visit this place and socialize some pups, and suddenly I came home with the sweetest potcake. Forever grateful!

Potcake Place K9 Rescue is more than just a place to visit—it's an amazing cause that I had the privilege of being a part of. The experience was truly rewarding and left a lasting impact on me. The staff at Potcake Place K9 Rescue is beyond wonderful. They are incredibly nice and helpful, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. They have a genuine passion for what they do and their dedication to the well-being of the puppies is evident. Speaking of the puppies, they are a delight to be around. Despite their challenging backgrounds, they are surprisingly well-behaved and full of love. Interacting with them was a joy, and the connection formed during the visit was heartwarming. One thing that stood out to me about Potcake Place K9 Rescue is their approach to donations. They provide you with everything you need to care for the puppies during your visit, and they are not pushy when it comes to asking for donations. Their focus is on creating a positive experience and raising awareness about their cause. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. It's an opportunity to support an incredible cause, interact with adorable puppies, and leave with a sense of fulfillment. Potcake Place K9 Rescue is making a difference in the lives of these precious animals, and being a part of it is truly special.

This place pours heart and soul into their work ❤️ It runs on its selfless volunteers and donations. Shout out to Jane (founder & director), Abby, Dasha and everyone else who keeps this place up and running. They help as many dogs as they can and they do an awesome job. We were vacationing on the island and came across the store front and saw visitors were able to take puppies on socialization walks Mon-Sat 10am-1230p. So the next day we showed up to do exactly that. The process is made very easy. You fill out your liability form that explains all of the rules and the volunteers give detailed instruction before sending you off with your new furry little friend. Each pup comes with a tote bag with water / bowl, treats, toys and poop bags. A lot of the businesses in the area are puppy friendly and they also allowed to walk on the public beach entrances. Naturally we fell in love with the pup we were handed. We already have a pup at home and getting him a sibling had always been on our mind. So we inquired about the process. Jane is very through in explaining the potcake breeds, the application process and getting them home. So we took an application back with us and gave it some serious thought. Over the next couple of days we took our pup for a couple more walks, got our application approved and officially claimed him as our own. If vacationing in TCI I highly recommend paying them a visit. Take the pups on a walk or just give them love. You can even volunteer to help with morning baths (which I also recommend from my own experience). Whatever you choose to do, it’ll make your trip even that more special. And if you can don’t forget to donate so they can continue to give these puppies all they need to get healthier and eventually get adopted! This is our potcake, Sweet, by name and nature. He will go by Cosmo once he’s home in New Jersey. We will enjoy his “little” size for the short term and look forward to watching him grow. I know the volunteers will miss him but we’ll definitely send pupdates!

The Da Conch Shack is a beachfront restaurant on Providenciales that serves up delicious conch dishes. The restaurant has an amazing view of the ocean and is perfect for a relaxing meal.
Great place with Amazing vibes and for all ages. We came at 6:00 for an early dinner and found a whole lot of families with kids playing around so great for families. As the night went on more and more adults came in for the live band and performance that starts at 8:00pm every Wednesday. Great ambiance! Food wise it was pretty good we got the conch fritters very tasty and then the fish tacos nothing to say it was good and priced relatively fairly. For drinks get a pitcher which costs 35 dollars and will get you 5+ drinks. Will be back it was fun!

My wife have been here for dinner two nights in a row. I have had grilled snapper and creole snapper. The wife keeps coming back for the jerk chicken. It has all beeen delicious and well worth a visit for dinner or for lunch. Great value in ordering a pitcher of your favorite island cocktails. I have had the Blue Conch and the Rum Punch. Both are fantastic. Great setting right on the sea. Dinner tables in the sand.

Awesome place to come! Definitely a tab bit pricier than other restaurants but such a fun vibe! The place is right on the beach and it's absolutely beautiful! Great vibes with live music. We weren't too hungry when we came so just had a couple of beers and the conch fritter, jerk wings and chicken curry. All the food were pretty tasty and fresh. Service was a bit slow but was warned about this before we visited the island. Overall, we loved our lunch here and wished we could come on a Wednesday night when they have live performances

Delicious food, quickly cooked, service was great, on the water front, live music entertainment was a good singer and did take requests. There's contact consent to eat here but it's not so close with seating that you're uncomfortable. The menu is delicious!

We stopped at Da Conch Shack on a tour of the island. Pleasant surprise as we have been hearing we need to come here. We had the jerk chicken, fried plantains (sweet), fish finger- delicious and perfectly battered and fried. Their set up is perfectly situated on the beach on the Atlantic Ocean side of the island. Friendly service and a super cute and relaxed atmosphere!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Da Conch Shack! We didn't have reservations, but were seated right away for dinner when we arrived on a Sunday night. We were seated on a table right on the beach, so it was a beautiful way to enjoy dinner. I tried the cracked conch, conch fritters, and some of my fiance's Jerk Chicken. I highly recommend the conch dishes-- the portions are fairly large, so come hungry! The drinks were also fantastic! Personally, the best part about this restaurant is the vibe! It's very informal, and right on the beach. There are vendors outside selling all sorts of island made trinkets and even conch shells! I hear Wednesday nights are the best time to visit because everyone comes here after the fish fry. The only thing to remember is that it can get very windy, and you are given paper napkins which will go flying! It was so windy that pieces of rice were flying off my fork! Lastly, bring cash. Our waitress strongly discouraged paying with card-- though I do think they have a machine at the front of the restaurant.

Wings were good. Mac n cheese was different, but good. Plantains, phenomenal. Husband got ribs. He loved them. The atmosphere is nice.

Quite possibly one of the most favorite nights on the island. Wednesday night did not dissapoint as promised!! The entertainment, service, staff, music all 10/10. Our rental car had a lock issue and the front desk server got all the regular cab drivers to assist. Good humans all around and the most fun we've had including a gentleman educating us on conch harvesting beginning of the night.

Wednesday evening is when you want to visit for a real party. MAKE A RESERVATION!!! 24-48 hours in advance. This will be one of the most memorable experiences of your time on the island. The drinks were poured very generously. The dancing starts right at sundown. Young and old, visitors and locals all come together. They have some vendors selling Conch shells and other tourist goods. If I could do it again I would ask for a table on the beach rather than on the wood deck. Absolutely amazing time. Wait staff took very good care of me. Food came out quickly. Jerk pork ribs were fall off the bone good. The chicken curry was delicious and the coleslaw was cold and refreshing.

If you're blessed to go to Provo, Da Conch Shack is a must. We got the cracked conch, conch fritters, plantains and jerk chicken. All were delicious. The beer was ice cold, which was needed since it was blazing hot. And you can't beat the view! Service was superb. We'll be back, for sure.

The best part of this restaurant are the amazing staff who are beyond friendly, genuinely so. They truly want you to have a great time and enjoy the food. Unfortunately, the latter is typical fried taste which covers up Conch way too much. Ceviche style is the best way to experience. It's a one and done place.

Loved this place. Such a beautiful spot on the beach with some great food. We got the crispy chicken sandwich, (my sister claims best she’s ever had) conch fritters and the ribs. All were fantastic. The drinks were good , and strong which we liked! Definitely recommend this place, such nice and accommodating staff too. Thanks!

This is a hard one. Obviously this is a place heavily advertised if you are visiting TCI and you should go. It is really pretty and well thought out, the staff are lovely and we walked for miles along the deserted beach. We decided to just have a drink and share some conch fritters as not really hungry, but thought we should try them. The mango and passion fruit smoothie was nice, but definitely not fresh fruit, more very cold flavoured yogurt type drink - quite sweet. I liked it but husband disappointed. The conch fritters were disappointing: did not really taste of much and a bit chewy, maybe expecting too much from the reviews! But what really shocked us was the cost - really overpriced.

Really liked it! The beach is full of seashells and the place is very very nice. I wish there were more people. We just had drinks and rum raisin icecream

Horrible, horrible service. We sat down at 12:06 and a waitress (not sure what her name was) didn’t come to us until 12:46. She sent a guy waiter to our table that was nice. We were so thirsty and didn’t even get a water until 1:00. We didn’t leave the restaurant until 2:10 because of how long they took. The restaurant wasn’t even busy and the only reason someone came was because we went to look for the waitress. Had to go to the bar to get our bill. They then proceeded to add 18% gratuity to our bill when we were only a party of 2. This is very sketchy and on the menu it states parties of 6 or more will have it included. I would avoid this tourist trap, mediocre food and views you can get at better restaurants in the area.

Where do I even begin.. let me just say that this restaurant was def a 10/10 in my opinion. The view was honestly breathtaking! We were seated by the host and she gave us a warm welcome to da conch shack. Our host/ waiter Xahnia customer service was everything!!! I told her that da conch needs to give her a raise due to how accommodating she was towards us. First and foremost, I asked Xahnia to pick out a pretty tasty cocktail and she understood the assignment. The drink came out in a regular cup and I think she seen me taking content pics of my drink/ view that she came back out with the same drink in a BETTER LOOKING CUP. If that is not good customer service then I really don’t know what is. The food was delicious and refreshing. The conch salad reminded me of a Laos dish which made it felt like I had my Mom’s in law cooking right in front of the beach. That felt really nice. I heard that the conch shack is better to go on Wednesday due to them having live performance, etc. My bf and I agreed to just avoid the hassle and to go on a regular day instead. & it still exceeded our expectation.

This is a must-visit restaurant for anyone looking for a fun and delicious dining experience. Live music and dancing, making it a fun and lively atmosphere! The restaurant also features entertainment and performances by flame throwers and a market with handcrafted goods. Bring cash! The Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork Ribs were outstanding with the perfect level of spice and full of flavor. The chicken wings are the best we’ve ever had. Strong drinks, and a friendly and attentive staff make this an all around 5 star experience.

Located on the beautiful shore of Grace Bay Beach, Hemingway's on the Beach is a caribbean restaurant with an atmosphere that is anything but ordinary. The open-air deck offers stunning views of the ocean, and the menu features a variety of choices that are anything but ordinary. The restaurant is open from breakfast to dinner every day, and there are live music performances four nights per week.
Wow. All I can really say is this has been the best restaurant we have been to near Grace Bay. Everything was amazing from the service to the food to the location. Our server was beyond expectation and the food was excellent. The shrimp curry was to die for and the portions were perfect. Prices were inline with every other well reviewed restaurant but this was by far the best. Thank you for the amazing experience. If you don’t stop here while in Turks, you are missing out.

Ok, so let me start off by saying that the customer service was really good. Everyone was friendly and they were willing to meet our needs. As for the food, maybe we hit them on a bad evening or our choice of food was incorrect but the food was bland. The plating of the food looks great but the flavor profile was just not there. The appetizers were Beef Angus tips and crab cakes. The main dish was chicken penne pasta and the wife had grill snapper. We read the reviews thinking we were gonna get something flavorful but this evening it seemed like the chef was off their game. Hopefully this was a fluke.

This restaurant at the Sands Resort was actually better than the photos and reviews seem to indicate. One of the best dinner means we had on the island if you judge primarily based on food flavors and atmosphere. And it was easy to walk in without a reservation. Prices are also a bit more reasonable than other beach restaurants. Crab cake, lamb chops and garlic mashed potatoes were the highlight. Gratuity isn’t automatically included unlike at many other places.

We had a great meal overlooking the beach. There was a nice breeze and plenty of shade. The food and service were great. The conch salad was excellent as was the shrimp and mango salad with chutney. The drinks were all good!

The food and service here were top notch!! Do yourself a favor and get a mojito, they are incredibly refreshing. We had the fish tacos a few times and the grilled red snapper (in picture) was delicious. It’s super close to the beach so you can always take the food to go or (if you’re at The Sands) have them bring it to you to one of the umbrella tables in the sand.

Great spot to stop in and grab a frozen cocktail to go while you enjoy walking on the beach. Some seating is right next to a pool so you may hear kids shouting and splashing while you enjoy your meal. Recommend reservations as the bar seating is very limited so they may not be able to accommodate a walk in depending on how booked they are

A+++ on food, service, and ambiance! What a wonderful experience with Carolyn and her team. I’m quite “needy” and this place was perfect! I had the burrata appetizer and the shrimp curry - both wonderful! My husband had the filet and he loved his meal as well. Get a reservation at this place!

Mango Reef is a waterfront restaurant with a diverse menu that includes everything from Americanized Caribbean cuisine to fresh seafood. The setting is perfect for a night out and the food is amazing.
Don't be fooled by the casual appearance - Mango Reef does pretty good food. My appetizer was seafood in a crispy crepe parcel - really tasty. Mains were great and the fresh lime pie was phenomenal. Service was excellent and its location on the water is lovely.

We were absolutely blown away by this dining experience. We enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere, the ambiance was pleasant and chill. The food was outstanding, from our curry dishes to classic shrimp. You will not be disappointed. And do yourself a favor, save room for dessert. The Mango cheesecake is otherworldly.

This is definitely one of the secret gems on the island! We regret not coming here sooner on our trip. The food was fantastic and the price was very reasonable. Some of the best tasting food we had on the trip. They have a huge menu with lots of variety. The view is right on the marina with several boats coasting by.

Now here is a place that was so good I went twice. It is located near boat docks so it is a nice place for relaxing near the water. I personally like sitting at the second bar located in the dining area. To me drinks and food come out way faster that way 😁. Everything i ate there was good quality and great staff members. They were always cool and nice to talk to. A must try.

Our meal was amazing and we would plan to return before we leave the island. We started with the shrimp tempura appetizer and the shrimp were so good, cooked perfectly and tasted even better. My husband and I both ordered the lobster and it was so delicious. It came with seasoned potatoes and mixed vegetables. The food was amazing and the service was the best that we received on the whole island. We highly recommend you check out this restaurant!

This venue was clean, upbeat and served excellent food. The menu had a wide selection. The service was quite good. Our server was friendly, prompt and cheerful. The open air restaurant was on the dock in the harbour and yachts we're docked next to our table. The atmosphere was pleasing, the tables spread comfortably apart and the music level was not intrusive, low enough for pleasant conversation. It was one of the best in the area. We enjoyed two fresh, seafood meals for just over a hundred dollars. 👍🏻🦞

We walked in and we’re swarmed by flies. We almost left but the waiter put down some sternos and they went away. Apparently they clean fish at the dock alongside of the restaurant and it causes the flies. Dinner was really good.

Mango Reef was suggested to be one of 3 top seafood restaurants in TCI near Grace Bay Beach. They delivered! A low-key atmosphere settled right on the Marina docks. You're greeted with smiles and led through dinner by knowledgeable wait staff. The shrimp and pineapple salsa (not photographed) was a great appetizer. Must try the Paella!!

4.3 / 5.0 - great location on the marina harbour for outdoor dining. Service was good. Food was good as well. I’m basing this on a US/Canadian experience. Our server was funny and charismatic and made the experience memorable. I would go back. The view of the boats, sunset and outdoor experience are the star of the show. The tuna ceviche was average. The de-constructed ravioli was a surprise and was tasty. Shrimp was good. I recommend stopping by for a late afternoon or early evening to watch the light disappear and see the evening lights come on.

Visited Mango Reef based on reviews and recommendations by past visitors, but I was not that impressed. There was no host at the desk, and we waited for a while before a guest, who was seated at a table near the little booth that seemed to be the waiting area, told us to find a seat ourselves, as they had done. By then, about four other couples were waiting behind my partner and me to be seated. After we found a seat, it took a server around 25 minutes to come to our table. We ordered and asked the first server for the Wi-Fi password, but he gave us an incorrect one. We asked another server who came by, and again we received a different password, which still did not work. Finally, a third server gave us yet another password, but none worked. We gave up on asking. Being away from our hotel with no service wasn’t a big deal, but the service at the restaurant just was not satisfactory. As for the food, it was not worth the price. I had the Salmon, which was raw inside, and I could not eat it. To avoid any confrontation, I just set it aside and shared some of my partner's food instead. His snapper was cooked properly, just how I imagine fish should be cooked. Our total bill was $160. Again, not impressed with the food or service. It might have been an off day for them, but I'm just sharing my experience.

I have to say that we were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant because all the reviews were so positive. Positives: did not need to book, big car park, fab view of boats.Negatives : Sadly the staff were all pretty grumpy and made us feel like we were a burden. Not a smile anywhere. My husband chose the snapper special - big fish enthusiast - but although it looked pretty, the fish was pretty dry and vegetables tasteless. I had a salad which was OK, nothing special. Apple tart was quite nice but raspberry macron was two hard macaroons with overly sweet ice cream inbetween. Again both deserts looked pretty but sadly did not taste so good. Asked for WiFi password, which did not work. Really disappointed and will not bother to return.

Celebrated my birthday here on a Saturday night. Reservations are required. The wait was not more than 15 minutes to be seated. The ambiance is very chill and romantic. I ordered the Salmon and the watermelon margarita. The food was pretty good. Service was ok, waiter was not very attentive. Overall, I would recommend going at least once. Perfect spot to end our girl trip. We didn’t have reservations but we were seated pretty quickly. Outdoorsy, the ambiance was really nice. We heard all the hype about Coco bistro, that we expected i guess waaaaay too much. Food and service was overall great. Appreciated how they were accommodating with switching up a dish on the Menu for me. Will recommend as definitely one of the places to go to while on the island.

We enjoyed watermelon margaritas. We had to settle the bill at the bar before heading to our table. Surprised the bill couldn’t be combined. We were told it will be an hour seating wait but we managed to be seated within 15 mins. Good service and atmosphere. Highly recommend seafood fettuccine which was tweaked with some spice that we had requested. Utterly delicious. Skirt steak was okay and not the best I’ve tried. Portions are good sized. The photos look smaller as the chef split the portions for two of us to share. Overall a good 4 stars.

Really awesome experience. Atmosphere was cozy, tropical, surreal. Felt very quaint, but it's a fairly large place. We sat in a central courtyard, surrounded by beautiful tropical vegetation. All the staff were great - very nice and attentive. The peach margarita (wife) and Coco Bistro Punch (me) were fruity and refreshing (and sneakily strong). Great way to start the evening! They served us some bread when we sat down; some parmesan on top, and something about basil - I was having a little trouble hearing all the details. Man... this unassuming roll was filled with a basil concoction that I'll be thinking about for a while. So good! We ordered the lobster spring rolls as an appetizer, and they were incredible. The wrapping was light and flaky, and really let the filling shine. Definitely recommend those, if available. I ordered the beef tenderloin as my entree, which came on a bed of sweet potato puree and covered in a mushroom sauce. Very good, if slightly more done then I typically like. Wife ordered the lobster sushi roll and loved it. We were both stuffed. So naturally I had to order dessert... There was a warm, sweet cake with vanilla ice cream, strawberries, and toffee sauce. It was on the specials menu, and my eyes were drawn to it immediately upon opening to the first page. I thought about it throughout dinner, and it didn't disappoint. Overall, a great night, with nice people, and good food!

BEST RESTAURANT ON THE ISLAND, I repeat the best restaurant on the island without a doubt!!! We dined at many other very high end restaurants while on the island and this one takes the cake for sure! The spring rolls were very well prepared, with a perfectly crisp outer shell! Now let’s talk about the mahi-mahi, wow just wow! One of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had in my life the curry sauce it comes with is breathtaking it’s not watery at all it’s got a peanut sort of flavor to it and it pairs perfectly with the fish and the insanely delicious plantains. The seafood fettuccine is packed with seafood and the sauce is something out of a movie. Rum cake for dessert which was amazingly fresh. If I could I would eat here every night, thank you so much Coco bistro for an amazing dinner food experience and a very romantic evening!!

Our dinner at Coco Bistro was by far our favorite meal during our whole vacation in Turks & Caicos! Be warned, reservations at Coco Bistro fill up very quickly because it is the number 1 restaurant on the island. And after our experience, I can see why! Everything about this restaurant is perfect -- the food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance is unmatched. The seating area is outside in the middle of a palm tree grove! We went for dinner on a hot, humid, July night, but we didn't feel any of the heat or humidity during dinner. I don't know how they manage to keep it feeling cool and dry, but they do a fantastic job! I reserved a table a couple of months in advance, and it was 1000% worth it. We ordered the Conch Two Ways for our appetizer, and it was a large enough dish to split between two people. This was delicious! I really liked the conch ceviche-- it was a nice fresh alternative to the fried conch we ended up eating all week! For our entrees we ended up ordering the NY Striploin and the West Indian Style Shrimp Curry. I highly recommend the Shrimp Curry-- the flavors were on point, and this was my favorite dish of the entire vacation! Also, as someone with a tree nut allergy, I really appreciate how thoughtful everyone at Coco Bistro is about customers with nut-allergies. The menu clearly indicated which dishes contained nuts, and the wait staff knew which dishes had allergens, and could easily explain the ingredients and process of most dishes. For example, we were served pesto filled dinner rolls with oil shortly after we were seated. Pesto usually contains pine nuts, so when I asked our waiter about it, he assured me that the kitchen omitted pine nuts from this pesto recipe specifically to accommodate more people. Lastly, I recommend getting late dinner reservations, especially if you're traveling as a couple. We arrived shortly before sunset, and while the grove and ambiance is beautiful, it was breath-taking after dark when the trees were lit up!

Very popular place and reservations are (almost) a must. We walked in rather early (17:15) in the evening and were able to get a seat at the bar. Same menu as the restaurant and lots of staff to help wait on you. Bread served with dinner is delicious with a tasty pesto inside- no need for oil or butter. We also had two salads (Caesar and Asian pear) along with two appetizers (lobster rolls and scallops), an Aperol spritz and a rum; total bill was U$150 with taxes and tip. Service was great- very attentive and quick to take away empty plates.

Best restaurant we visited on the island. Make sure to make a reservation 1+ month out during busy season. Situated on an old plantation, tables are within the lit trees for an amazing backdrop. Seated with a pesto stuffed bread & olive oil. While the server wasn’t exactly chipper (common on the island) she was attentive and provided good service. The owner, an Englishman, went around to every table, which was a nice gesture. Rare Tuna Steak w/ rice balls - pictured in the post, 10/10. Perfectly seared with a decadent sauce. Sirloin - cooked as requested, very little fat and a tasty pepper sauce. A go-to restaurant when visiting the island.

Probably our second favorite restaurant on our trip. We got the salmon and lobster sushi special (best dish we got), lobster tempura, lobster spring rolls, tuna tartare and the blackened lobster but substituted the truffle fries for the rice for an extra fee. They had our favorite cocktail so far on the island (pomegranate based, can’t remember and couldn’t pronounce the name…haha). Our waitress was nice and accommodating, atmosphere was fantastic. Really felt like a fancier island feel. Only complaints were the lobster was a tad on the salty side and it was not an easy experience booking a reservation. You have to email them and I never heard anything back from them until I finally had to call (once we had WiFi on the island) and thankfully they had a spot open at 8:30. I don’t understand why they don’t use an app like Open table or something online to book a reservation. That being said, would definitely go back

Our favorite dining experience of the week. I had the pasta bolognese and my husband had the grilled lobster. It's lobster season! First time having warm water lobster and he was impressed. The desserts were also amazing- banana fritters...yum!!! And their famous coconut pie was amazing too! Service was great! The only disappointment (but we aren't going to let it ruin our experience, just want to warn people) was that the typical service charge that all the other restaurants do was actually a gratuity at Coco Bistro. It was our fault for not reading the receipt properly. So we thought our tip for the server was $50, but with the gratuity already added to the receipt, they got a $75 tip. Yikes...for a $198 bill. But like I said...we know better for next time. And we still enjoyed our food here. Wish we found it sooner.

Had a great experience at Coco Bistro for our first time. The truffle pasta is out of this world and Mahi was amazing. Food came out hot and fast. Will definitely come back! Definitely book in advance though!

The ambience was amazing. They serve complimentary two pieces bread with butter to start. Ordered conch wontons for appetizer (this was so good)and then shared the chicken supreme dish. The chicken dish was not bad (a little bland) and I expected better. Didn’t complain. Portions are a decent size. Cocktails were good. A bit on pricey side but that’s the island and this one came with a really nice view. Service was fine just keep an eye out they do add 15% gratuity automatically.

We selected to go to Bay Bistro for our special anniversary night, messaged Joan the owner and she was extremely kind and helpful in setting up a special table at the beach. When we walked in the hostess and the servers showed no enthusiasm and during the dinner seemed very uninterested in customer service. We paid 60$ to set up table on beach (worth it) and food was served hot and had tremendous flavor, 3 dishes were of highest quality (lamb chop, lobster, snapper).

Last minute lunch on the beach. The conch chowder was ok - huge chunks of potatoes were filling the bowl. The yellow fin coffee encrusted tuna was good. The goat cheese salad came without the garlic bread... Service was spotty to say at best. Drinks were good. It is beautifully situated on the beach and the views are incredible. But other than that, I don't think there's anything else I can really point out.

We had a wonderful experience at Bay Bistro! It is located a quick walk along the beach from our hotel at The Palms. The restaurant offers beachside dining, which made for a beautiful evening. We were able to enjoy the view of the ocean while we ate. We split the feature, a surf and turf featuring a lobster and filet. The food was absolutely sensational. The service was quick and attentive, and we were seated immediately. The combination of the beautiful location, delicious food, and attentive service made for a wonderful dining experience.

Title: Cautionary Review: Good Food, Poor Service, and Billing Issues. Located in the scenic setting of the Turkish and Icacos Islands, this restaurant offers a promising culinary experience with its diverse menu options. While the food itself isn't entirely disappointing, there are significant areas that need improvement, particularly in terms of service quality and billing practices.Upon arrival, diners may appreciate the ambiance and the variety of dishes available. However, the dining experience can be marred by inconsistent service. Some patrons have reported encounters with staff members that lack attentiveness and professionalism, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal. One major concern highlighted by several customers is the billing process. It's essential for diners to exercise caution when reviewing their bills, as the restaurant has been observed to automatically include gratuity charges without clear disclosure. This practice is particularly troubling as tipping is traditionally optional in the region, and guests should not feel obligated to pay a predetermined amount for service.Furthermore, instances of confrontation between patrons and staff regarding these billing discrepancies have been reported, further souring the dining experience. Guests have recounted uncomfortable encounters where they were pressured to accept the included gratuity, despite their objections. In conclusion, while this restaurant may offer decent food options, potential patrons should be aware of the shortcomings in service quality and billing transparency. Exercise caution when reviewing your bill, and don't hesitate to question any charges that seem unjustified. It's advisable to clarify tipping policies with the staff beforehand to avoid any misunderstandings. Overall, until these issues are addressed, diners may want to explore alternative dining options in the area.

Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner while staying at Sibonné. Each meal has been amazing! Everything has been fresh with great flavors. Made to feel welcome, friendly staff. Can’t get a better view of the ocean. A new favorite restaurant for us!

Can’t beat the atmosphere! Food is very good, especially the dinner menu. The breakfast buffet on the weekends is excellent. Staff are very friendly. If you’re on the “American” side of service when it comes to pace, take a deep breath and slow down, it’ll all work out.

Amazing sunset and wonderful food. The jerk lamb is outstanding. Just enough spice but not overpowering. The roasted chicken equally yummy. The flourless chocolate cake hit the finish line.

Worst breakfast on the island. Don't know how to poach an egg and their steak fries are actually potato cakes. We picked ours up and when we squeezed it, only dust remained. Only 2 tables and it still took 35 minutes to serve. Beautiful view.

The ambience is nice with a stunning view of Grace Bay beach, but the service is awful. They don’t greet you on arrival, don’t even come to bring you the menu, look unhappy and annoyed and act like they are doing you a favour. The waitstaff was rude, cold and unpleasant, which almost made me leave. The pancakes had a weird shape and tasted just average, the mimosa was bleh and the express was more like an americano 😂 I’d come back for the view only, but since I didn’t pay for the service the waitress told me not to come back (!!) definitely a bad impression on our first day and first time visiting this bad and really bad for the local tourism.
