The restaurant is located in a small plaza with a beautiful fountain located in 9 corners. Birria is good. Cheeseburgers are good too. The service is great and they provide several salsas/toppings with chips. Food takes a while and the kitchen is visible so you are able to see the cooks making the food. It's difficult to find parking.

To start the refried beans were delicious!!! Typical birria (goat) was good, but the chicken soup with vegetables, and rice was delicious too. The vegetable soup was good, very similar to vegetable minestrone. Horchata drink was great, not too sweet and not too much cinnamon. Prices were low, but just so you know the portions are small, except the birria that you ask for the size you want.

Birria de chivo tatemada caldosa was 😋! The enchiladas Verde were as expected. The aguas (horchata and jamaica) were flavorful. The tortillas and chips and salsas were all very good and fresh. Service was fast. Bonus - they accept credit cards! NOTE: if you are not a fan of mariachi music, don't sit near the front entrance. The bands walk around playing and they were right next to our table.

Found this place while staying in Guadalajara for a week. The area of this restaurant has a little park with a fountain and a cool little neighborhood. There are some other Birria restaurants in the neighborhood but this one is the BEST ! they have a patio area that you can sit out on which is great. The staff are very nice and right on top of everything. The Quesabirria tacos with consomé where NICE ! The caldo Telalpeño had crazy flavor. The cochinita pibil was good as well ..... Close to what you get in the Yucatan. If you're in the area DEFINITELY make sure you stop in !

Highly recommended. Not that it needs the publicity but both locals and foreigners alike come here to get an amazing Birria de Chivo and Barbacoa de Borrego. Staff is friendly and on top of their guests needs.

This is a beautiful the restaurant in a very old building. There are two restaurants one on the Corner in front to a water fountain that one is small. Right in front is the other restaurant with the same name. That one is very big restaurant. The food is autentic mexican. It is very affordable for the quality of food. It has excellent customer all the Waiters and waitresses are friendly , curious and eficient . I have eaten breakfast and lunch here and I only had great experiences. Great management

Delightful and will obviously return soon. Sat outside watching the fountain, accompanied by beautiful music. We had the goat birria and zucchini flower tacos. Service was prompt and friendly. Not a criticism, they have the smallest bathroom we have ever experienced in the world. It was clean and functional!

I really liked the Restaurant. From the food to the service. The plates came very quickly and we enjoyed everything. I highly suggest to come her and have a full course meal.

This place is a must-go in Guadalajara to have an excellently-prepared local staple: birria. Everything here is made very fresh. The decor and atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, though a little kitschy. Special mention to the quesadillas made with huitlacoche: it's an ingredient difficult to find in other countries, so I'm very glad to have gotten to try it here!

Closer to 4.5 in each category than 4... Nice spot sort of hidden away from the buzzy cathedral area but a real find. Nice looking inside and out, with a good vibe and you sit on the edge of an open prep kitchen. Lively. The place seemed to serve loyal locals and I can see why: prompt service, a welcoming attitude, and a nice menu. Fair prices. I had chicken mole enchiladas and they were excellent -- you get 3 per order with beans and rice. Lots of chicken. The table salsas are excellent, 3 different kinds with chips, plus onions marinated. Employees -- wait staff and kitchen staff -- seem to enjoy their work and are fun to watch. The mariachis came by at one point -- a solid group with a soulful singer. One of the better iterations of the popular and ubiquitous genre. Well worth a visit and only 8-10 minute walk from cathedral.

We tried lots of spots in Guadalajara and this one was easily the best quesabirria in the city. We also tried the sopes and the molletes and for dessert Jericaya which is like a Mexican crème brûlée- top quality food, this should be a must visit if you visit the city!

Had the barbacoa tacos 🌮🌮 and a beer overall cost was less than 10 USD. They serve the tacos with just the meat and have you spice it up to your liking. Comes with a bowl of onions plenty of lime and also 3 different salsas.

A delightful little find, the "Nine Corners". Authentic Mexican cuisine in a festive & colorful atmosphere! Great, friendly, hardworking staff. Would definitely return, given the opportunity.

Allium was the gastronomical highlight of my trip to Guadalajara. A really cute open air boutique restaurant with great menu and good selection. On our visit they had 241 promotion for wine. The food uses freshest local seasonal ingredients and were beautifully presented. We were hesitant to try the ant larvae (Mexican caviar) but curiosity got the better of us and we’re glad it did! It was cooked in garlic butter on top of freshly baked brioche. It was savoury and sweet; amazing taste sensation. Unfortunately our meal got cut short due to heavy storms and they lost electricity. We were gutted and went back the next day as we really wanted to try their duck breast and Ox tongue. Unfortunately their electricity was still out 😫 Adolfo was so apologetic and gave us a bottle of tequila. We were so touched by his king gesture. Which restaurant does that?! We’ll definitely have to do another trip to Allium to complete our meal.

From start to finish this restaurant experience was amazing. The food was definitely the star. Each dish was amazingly balanced and was a combination of wonderful flavors. Service was attentive and helpful. The restaurant is set up so you can see the chef crew preparing dishes, and it makes for a very fun experience watching the team put together your meal.

The duck I had was partially good, but the sweet potatoes were undercooked, and some of the other flavors didn't really blend well within the dishes. But I loved the atmosphere, and the open-kitchen concept.

Unique fusion food with an open chef’s table and elite service. I love when fine dining spots are open during lunch! We want lunch too! I ordered the Mexi-Thai fish curry with eggplant and mushroom. It's one of those dishes I respect for it's blend but I don't want to eat again. I like the menu and know each dish is thought out with flavor. Complimentary bites and bread given.

I thoroughly enjoyed my leisurely coursed lunch at Allium. I sat on the outside patio and enjoyed people watching between dishes. The service was friendly and attentive, the dishes beautifully plated, good wine & the food was fresh and flavorful. I would happily return here on my next visit to Guadalajara.

We had a great time at this restaurant! The staff was friendly and the service was good! I visited there with a friend from Belgium.It is a good memory in our list of places in Guadalajara. We got a nice dinner with some traditional Mexican dishes, a bottle of sparkling wine and yummy dessert.

We had an absolutely fantastic night out and dinner at I Latina again. The place is eclectic and fun, the drinks are super well done, the bartenders know their stuff....Great selection of wines, too. The food was amazing: they had a special appetizers crab cake that was sooooo good, the tuna tacos were a highlight and so were the chicken (sous bide on grilled pineapple and salsas) and the Thai shrimp (the spices were ridiculously good). Our waitress was the nicest and sweetest person ever and so attentive and fast. Amazing service. All in all a fabulous experience, I can't wait to go back.

Happy with our experience here. Apparently, used to be a former auto repair shop. Even though we were absolutely the only American tourists in the packed dining room. There was no problem with communication. Try the shrimp tacos that use jícama as the shell. We had all three steaks on menu, the langoustines, and fresh ceviche. The lemon drink was a great way to start. Wine list is quite friendly to all tastes also. It's easy to see why this place was packed. DJ was setting up upon our departure...so you may plan your night accordingly.

Tacos tropical are a must, pretty much everything in the menu is tasty, last time the service was very slow (and the place wasn’t full) and the roof was leaking due to the rain, so they had to change our table they need to work on that.

We were treated by a friendly hostess who offered us options on where we preferred to sit. They have different areas with unique beautiful decorations. Our waiter Charlie asked us what we enjoyed or didn't like to give us suggestions on our starters. We quickly learned we can trust his recommendations and the food is delicious. We tried the tropical taco, spicy shrimp, baby back ribs with a good old fashion.

I have been traveling to Guadalajara every few months to visit my girlfriend (now fiancé) for about four years now. Given the distance, we try to get in as many "date nights" as we can in the time I'm here. I Latina is easily as good as or better than any dining experience we've had in Guadalajara. In a city that offers so many excellent dining experiences, I Latina manages to stand out. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent. The wait staff, also excellent, managed to ride that very fine line between friendly and professional. I cannot say enough. Thank you for an excellent evening out.

Delicious burgers with thick patties, great choice of artisanal beer. We got maple and chimichurri (which by the way could have used a bit mor chimichurri sauce), the were both juicy. The burgers come with salad or fries for your choice. The service was great

The cheeseburger was stunning, and the serving of house made pickles was very generous. The beer list is extensive but would benefit from some descriptions. Pricing was reasonable and service was prompt. It is worth a return visit.

Went there with couple of friends on Saturday evening. The ambience was good and I really enjoyed the music at this place. I ordered Chicken burger which was ok ok type. The fries I got with my burger was soggy. We also tried their all the deserts in the menu. Guava pie was really nice, cheesecake was good too and I didn’t like the brownie. The service was fast. The staff was friendly.

This really surprised us! The food here is top notch. I had the pastor burger which had so much flavor and was so juicy. My husband had the lamb burger. These were some of the best burger we've ever had! When we move here next year we'll definitely be coming here regularly.

Who I presume to be the owner or manager was the one to greet us. He was super accommodating in regard to picking a table for us that was comfortable for two adults two kids and a baby on a baby chair, without us asking. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. The food was AMAZING, best hamburger I’ve ever had. (Cordero) I loved that the tables had a really decent space between them so it doesn’t feel overcrowded and loud.

Second visit was even better the first. The beer selection is hard to beat in Mexico. Excellent on-tap choices. Chicken burger was great- crunchy with a house-made brioche bun. Fries were also great. The atmosphere is chill and laid back. Even on a busy Saturday night the wait was zero and the food came out quickly.

Discovered wonderful beer that was like chocolate: Loba negra. Sangria was light, not too sweet and very refreshing. Pirtabelka hamburger was just right with the queso that provided the richness to complement the portabella mushroom texture.

To list down best burgers in this city, it is not so match my imagination. Maple burger is too greasy for me, I prefer something light vegetables add inside to balance . The French fried is a little bit dry. Total service is good and friendly.

Amazing burgers! Probably the best you'll taste in Guadalajara. The buns are soft and delicious, the meat is ultra-tasty, the toppings are really well paired altogether in a fantastic combination of flavours. Sunday 4pm, short wait. Went alone, they sat me on a table for four. I enjoyed the music while I worked. Ordered the jaiba "crab" croquettes and they were delicious. Had the berry spritz, good but forgettable, the apple cider was a good alternative to beer but nothing to rave about. I ordered lamb burger and it was delicious. Both the burger and the french fries portion were on the small side. Burger was delicious, bread was soft and fresh, meat was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The fries were piping hot and the sauces really good. To me as female and having had an entire appetizer to myself, portion size of burger and fries was ok but for a 200lb guy, needs at least two burgers. Quality is on point tho. Update: Dic 2022. Tried the fried chicken burger. Just do it.

Came to this place every morning I was in Guadalajara. First off, the coffee was perfect. I tried multiple coffees as espresso and the natural process beans from Veracruz absolutely blew my mind! The soft biscuits with passion fruit jam were exceptional, and my egg dish was great too. Ingrid was so friendly and helpful. Love PalReal!!

My visit to Cafe Palreal in Guadalajara left much to be desired. The food, unfortunately, fell below my expectations, with offerings that were decidedly below average in taste and presentation. It seemed like a missed opportunity for a culinary delight. The service, while not notably poor, failed to leave any lasting positive impressions. It was a functional experience, but nothing about it stood out as particularly special or attentive. The lack of exceptional service added to the overall mediocrity of the visit. In conclusion, Cafe Palreal might be an option if you're in need of a quick bite, but for those seeking a memorable culinary or service experience, there are likely better choices in the area. The cafe has room for improvement to truly stand out in the competitive food scene of Guadalajara.

Great place. Friendly staff. Good coffee. Food really good. We went around 1:30 and had a great leisurely breakfast on the back terrace. Defiantly recommend the back terrace. And the coffee. So good.

You can tell this place is doing something right, because everyone comes here. I ordered a beet juice and vegetable omelette that comes with black beans. Great food superb service and atmosphere. Full of plants and sunlight. What more could you want!

A wonderful place, will definitely be back to check more items. Coffee, drinks, and food were all excellent. Pancita sandwich is a must try , it’s not a classic for nothing ! Service was excellent too, and it features a great people watching of sophisticated, yet not snobby Tapatios mixed with visitors.

Great service. Good food. Very cool atmosphere. You will wait 20-60m on the weekend, so be prepared for that. The food was all delicious although some dishes stops out much more than others so I would recommend sharing with friends. Overall would come back.

Great place for Brunch! We ordered mimosas and they were perfect. We ordered a scrambled egg(under Huevos section in the menu) with beans on the side and a sandwich (lonche de pancita). All the food was delicious

Just left this restaurant and WOW! We got a vegan dish and non vegan dish and both were Amazing! The flavors are INSANE! I’m from Los Ángeles and used to good food! We finished up with a lemon pie which was so fresh! Our waiter was so amazing!!! He gave great recommendations! It’s a must go!

The best coffee shop i’ve tried in Guadalajara. Great food and good coffee bean variety. The filtered drinks were really nice on the mouth. The milk based drinks were a little taim on the flavor, not enough punch on the taste but good and enjoyable. I’ll go back for sure.

Really, really loved this spot! Sat here with a friend for a few hours visiting over a delicious meal, drinks ☕, and a dessert. They nailed the ambiance with the decorations, open feel, all the plants... Bravo! And the food was truly delicious, too.

the food here is excellent. we tried a few dishes and all of them were good, not one dish was mediocre. The coffee is good and also have a selection of tea and fresh juice. The only reason I do not give them 5 starts is the service. The restaurant was not packed or super busy, it was normal i would say and we waited about 20 min to get our order in, another 15 to wait for the few dishes they forgot to bring out and had to ask for the bill twice . The staff was friendly not rude at all just forgetful.

The atmosphere and decor and presentation are superb. I also found the staff VERY friendly and professional and my server even spoke excellent English. The food was expensive and in my opinion the taste did not match the price and the portion was very small. I think what’s happening, unfortunately in the Instagram age, is that restaurants are putting looks over taste, because you can’t post great taste in an Instagram photo or YouTube video. This is a shame. I’d take great taste any day over great presentation if I had to choose. I would like to return to this beautiful place and try another dish.

Really cute spot. They have wifi and the food is really high quality. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it if you need a brunch and a coffee.
