Suncheon Bay Nature Reserve and Reed Field is a wonderful place to visit if you like the peace and quiet of nature. We started early and enjoyed walking around. This place is huge so be prepared to walk a lot. The reed field was beautiful in summer, very green. The birds, ducks, herons, crickets etc were all humming the entire time. The air was nice, crisp and clean. I enjoyed watching the crabs and mudfish interact in their natural habitat. We also hiked all the way up to the observatory. We saw a mountain cat too! The view there amazing! You can see the entire reserve. There's butteflied and caterpillars and even crabs up the mountain. There's also a restaurant serving coffee, desserts and lunch. For the meals, the ingredients were mostly sourced within the reserve so that's really cool. I would love to see this reserve in autumn when the colors change to browns and reds. It's also home to migratory birds so that would be nice.

I guarantee you the most beutiful scene ever seen in dreams if you visit at sunset.

Visiting the wetlands in Suncheon was such a cool experience. We spent a good 4 hours there. You can check out the bird museum, the planetarium and then walk through the wetlands. There's a bit of a hike to reach the multiple observation decks. The views from the top are incredible. Such a peaceful and beautiful outing in nature.

It was a beautiful beautiful place. We went on a sunny day and it was hot! The views were gorgeous and we spent around 3.5 hrs there. The 14000 won tickets came with the sky cube ride to the national gardens, which was great especially if you are tired from the walking. The hike(?) Or "path of meditation" up to yongsan observatory was alright, not too tough and the views along the way were fantastic! You get to see all the way to the delta.

lots of walking in the bay but its worth it. There is a shuttle to Sucheon National garden, Sky cube. Awesome! Sky cube is a electric mini rail like personal taxi built across the rice field. The view from the sky cube is just amazing. There is a ferry runs through the bay. You should try!

The leaves are so beautiful during the fall time. They are so red. It creates a wonderful place to take pictures and take in a beautiful view. The Cafe at the top is quite quaint with a great atmosphere.

Saw Gangnamjeong as we were driving nearby and decided to check it out. Such a great vantage point!

Incredibly large. Maintained quite nicely. All the shops were closed though, and I was there at 2 pm. Crowded with lots of people at the entrance/exit. Be mindful that the whole place is a photo opportunity. Definitely bring a bottle of water.

What a beautiful experience! The park covers a very large area and you'd definitely need a full day to see and appreciate every different garden and site. It might be wiser to go earlier in the blooming season rather than late August/September. Loads of photo ops placed for visitors. Easy access to amenities and snack stands. If you're in or near Suncheon I would highly recommend a visit.

So many things to do- rain or shine. Beautiful flowers and garden is very well-maintained. Highly recommend the boat tour, too. It was such a nice way to see the surrounding area of the garden.

Well taken care off. Love the country themed gardens aswell. My favorite season to visit this garden is during fall, love the natural hues that come from trees loosing their leaves and changing colours. A must visit when you’re in Suncheon.

Lots of different types of transportation yesterday... Aside from our rental car we did the Yeosu Ocean Bike Rail, the Yeosu Cable Car, and then over at Suncheon, a little tourist trolley car called the reed train and then the elevated Sky Cube, an unmanned pod transit system between Suncheon Bay National Garden and Suncheon Bay Wetland Reserve. Ticket prices: • Yeosu Ocean Bike Rail 28,000 for 2 (I think 32k for 4 sharing a bike) • Yeosu Cable Car 15,000 per person for round trip, less one way • Combined ticket Suncheon Bay National Garden and Suncheon Bay Wetland Reserve including Sky Cube, 14,000 per person. Wish we hadn't don't this so late in the day as we weren't able to actually explore either place, just the Sky Cube. (Is seen it while driving around and got obsessed with going on it!) Jeollonamdo Province is stunning, do visit if you can!

Incredibly wide, well maintained, absolutely gorgeous! The landscaping design is unique and beautiful. Staff members and volunteers were all friendly, which made our experiences much more special. It was drizzly, but we didn’t have any umbrellas. The people who were greeting at the gate led us to a place where we could rent umbrellas for free. They didn’t even ask for any identification; it was run on honor system. Excellent place to visit!

This is just a brilliant experience all over. Highly recommended.

This place is definitely worth the time and money. The price was not bad at all. A speed visit may take about 3 or 4 hours. To see the whole place in detail you need a full day experience.

We had such a good time here and enjoyed our stay very much! The area is huge and made with so many details and so much love. All the wonderful plants and flowers are wonderful and if you like photography you can spend even more time here. For me as an European the themed gardens were also very cute. You definitely could tell which country they tried to represent without reading the sign. We would definitely come back when we go to Suncheon again!

It was a wonderful place to walk around. They have baby stroller and wheelchair rental services for free. You can go with your child. You can ride a bus or boat to see around the garden.

Good place ! But shuttle bus (4000KRW) isn’t satisfied. They drive just outside. So many international garden. That garden is too big to look around one day!
