Porto Limnionas Tavern

Mentioned on
affordable
Greek restaurant
The greek restaurant Porto Limnionas Tavern has a rustic feel, with its red roof-tiled houses clustered around a stocky 14th-century church, and offers delicious seafood.
Great swimming/diving spot. It makes the whole experience. The taverna is just there overlooking the picturesque place. The seafood plate we ordered was fresh and tasty. They are also renting sun beds.
Nataliya Bozhilova — Google review
Obviously amazing place. Service was great and they were helpful. Sunbeds were €15 for the pair, which we were pleased with. My girlfriends bolognese was a little dry. The meat in it and the pasta was good, but it was lacking sauce. Thought my sovlaki would come with tzatsiki and pita as the rest of the island’s sovlaki does, but sadly didn’t, so i added some tzatsiki ans bread to my order. It still keeps a 4 star rating because the sovlaki meat was super good, and the bay was an amazing spot to swim and spend the day in. We came around 11:00, when there were still sunbeds available. Stayed for 5 hours. Could use a ladder in the water for kids and such, but worked for us.

The beach is amazing and this place is in a perfect location. The food is pretty good too. We've not had the big problems with the service that others mention, but I can totally see what they mean. The service is slow, unfriendly and expensive. The guy who's handling the parking lot acts like he's guarding the queen's jewels against barbarians, for absolutely no reason, even if you're parking to spend money there. These people would be fired from any place that respects its customers within days. But this isn't a place that respects its customers, it's a money making machine. Keep this in mind and still go if you want - if you ignore the bad service, it's a great experience. Just go early as it gets full quite fast. Sunbeds are €20 per pair + umbrella (or tree).
Vlad Schnakovszki — Google review
Wonderful restaurant overlooking the sea. We had the seafood plate good for 2 people and it was delicious and affordable for its quality. We thought it would be an overrated touristy restaurant since it was near a popular beach spot but it wasn’t at all! Service was very efficient and welcoming. Thank you!

Absolutely champions of the Mediterranean food, atmosphere and amazing area! Go there and enjoy all day!
Deni Pauk — Google review
The views are spectacular. Food was good. One suggestion I would pay 5 euros for a quick rinse off for a shower.
Arthur Czyszczon — Google review
The restaurant has a shaded terrace with a beautiful view of the beach and the open sea. The employees are friendly, but due to the large crowd, you are constantly condemned to wait, whether you ordered a drink at the sunbeds or a place at a table in the restaurant. When you get in to the restaurant, there is a wait for service and food. Even when we wanted to pay we had to wait a long time. When the food finally arrives, we were served a grilled chicken drumstick, even though the menu says it's a chicken fillet. Prices are god, but food not so much.

It’s worth the trip for the view alone. Possibly the best waters I have ever swam in, in Europe. Beautiful Blue crystal clear waters and it’s a joy to swim with the little fish! Now into the tavern…. What a clever little money maker! How they managed to be the only food place at the port area is very good luck indeed! The place gets BUSY - I was quite surprised and we didn’t even go on an exceptionally hot day! There was rain! Their sun bed system needs more work though, we found a lovely bed with no belongings and the staff said it was free, only to be kicked off after 10 minutes! The original purchasers forgot to place their belongings on the chairs to show it’s taken so make sure you do this! We were then directed to ONE sun bed, between the 2 of us. Good thing I’m tiny and petite and could fit on this with my fiancé! Service - the woman with sun beds, she’s great. The remaining staff - they were friendly. It’s a chaotic restaurant, staff numbers appear to be restricted. It took a while to get a seat and it’s frustrating when you see about 6 tables free just standing there…. Service is slow, but food was great! I ordered the souvlaki. I’m glad I came but I would advise you set off early to get the bed you want!

After spending the day swimming and tanning at the cove, there is no better place to be than this little tavern on top of a cliff. At sunset time, you have a beautiful light for photos 📸 and at the same time you are covered from the rays. The food was quite basic (small choice) but good.

Amazing beach with crystal clear sea. They are providing great sunbeds with a very nice view and service. The staff is outstanding friendly and polite. Food is also great and cones with fair pricing. Also offering free WiFi. Definitely a highlight of Zakynthos and we enjoyed the relaxing day

Recommend!! Amazing view, very good food and prices, super friendly staff ! I was for the first time in 2020 and again now in 2023, and everything was perfect! 🥰
Carina Andreea — Google review
The location is a great place, the restaurant gives you a great view onto the ocean and to the sun set. Also there is a possibility to get down to the water, at one of the best spots we saw on Zakynthos. Sadly the food was not the best. Maybe the cook had a bad day or it was a new one. And the same goes for the service. Our wish to have some time between starter and main dish was ignored (even though we had a native speaking person). The main dish came, without taking away the empty plates from the starters before. In summary nice place, but with some improvements necessary.

Visited the place twice in Oct 2023 as I liked the vibe of the place. Food was good while the views were fantastic. 🙂

Porto Limnionas restaurant in Greece boasts a breathtaking location with stunning views. The crystal-clear waters offer excellent snorkeling opportunities, although access involves navigating rocky terrain and steep climbs. Unfortunately, the staff appear preoccupied and lack warmth, while strict rules prohibit bringing personal food or drinks. While the setting is appealing, the overall experience is marred by the challenging access and indifferent service, making a return visit unlikely.
Ian Smith — Google review
Nice tavern with good food. The highlight is the access to the water of the beautiful bay. You can park here for free if you rent sunbeds for 15€ per day. Good and friendly service.
Dominik Schreier — Google review
The view is amazing, as expected, especially if you ask for a good table. The food is average at best, really dropped the quality from what I remember (last time I was here in 2014). Service was quick to bring the food to our table, however they didn’t bother picking up the empty plates once we were done and wanted to stay and enjoy the sunset for a while longer. Had to ask for the bill thrice. Come for the views, if that’s what you’re into; but don’t expect much else.
Mike — Google review
The restaurant is nice and the surroundings are great. The service was good enough, but the staff could be friendlier and more present – we waited a lot to order since the place was a bit chaotic. Contrary to the service, the food was great. Also, ordering drinks at the sunbeds is quite expensive.
Gabriel Grijincu — Google review
Tavern is located in amazing place with stunning view. Very popular and busy place. Recommendation to book a table in advance. Fish was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Unfortunately prawns were overcooked and with not removed veins. Worth to visit because of the location.

Blue Caves Villas

Mentioned on
Villa
Nature & Parks
The Blue Caves Villas is an exclusive retreat situated in Zakynthos, the largest of Ionian islands. This luxurious hideaway boasts fully-equipped units with individual swimming pools, kitchens and terraces, as well as convenient amenities such as helipad and beach access. Located on the west coast of Zakynthos, it offers a picturesque view of blue caves that reflect the stunningly vibrant blue color of the waters surrounding them while capturing the shimmering shine reflected by clear skies.
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Blue Caves Villas in May 2023, staying in the beautiful Fantasia villa for 10 days. The villas are perfectly located in a quiet area, with incredible views of kefalonia and the Aegean sea, surrounded by unspoiled land and green olive trees. It was perfect for our small family holiday, seeking peace and quiet. The villa was impeccably clean, the fridge was stocked with snacks, basics and wines and beers ready for our arrival, giving the perfect start to our time there. We were pleased to find a delivery service via WhatsApp where local stores will deliver directly to the villa day or night. If you have small children, this is a game changer! George was such a wonderful host, and we enjoyed spending time with him and Diaz the dog. Whilst we were there, our 5 year old daughter had her birthday, and unexpectedly George arrived with a personalised cake for her, from his favourite local cake maker. George actually shared the very same birthday, so we enjoyed a few cakes together to celebrate. The cake from George for our daughter, was quite special and we were so grateful to him for making the entire trip so wonderful for us, from start to finish. We cannot wait to go back again this year. Can’t recommend Blue Caves Villas enough - a beautiful, wonderful and special place if you are seeking peace, quiet, privacy in a beautiful location.

We got married on the property and had our family stay with us at Purple and Crystal Villas. Both Monika and Giorgos were so helpful in answering all our questions leading up to our stay and during our stay. Giorgos went out of his way to make our wedding vacation so special, and we truly appreciate it. The villas are in a remote area, so it felt like we had the whole island to ourselves. The beds were comfortable, and everything was so clean! The property is also spotless. We are also dog lovers who missed our own dogs so much so it was great to get cuddles from Diaz the second. Getting down and into the cave is a little precarious but such a cool feature! We had a storm for a few days of our visit so were weren't able to make much use of the caves, and access to the sea. It is in a remote part of Zakynthos, so if you are planning to leave the property we'd recommend renting cars. We have 3 cars for our ten guests and had lots of parking room. The villas and hospitality we recieved were truly amazing and made our wedding day and family vacation so special. Would recommend them to anyone!

The proximity to nature, breathtaking views, organic fruits and herbs, as well as bathing in rainwater, made our stay at Blue Caves Villas a luxurious and exceptional experience. Away from tourists and noise, we were able to immerse ourselves in the sound of the sea, the singing of birds, and the cicadas. Not to mention the architecture of Deep Blue house, which perfectly complements the island's character. I would love to return at the end of summer because fig season has become my favorite time on Zakynthos.

This place is phenomenal. The service, amenities, rooms, views, pool, people and owner are all amazing. We had a great time. The owner set up the wood burning oven with lavender fuel which gave our brick oven pizzas the most unique flavor. The olives, olive oil, and wine are all made on site.. be sure to ask for a bottle of 2018 wine. I can't say enough about how awesome our stay was.
Patrick Harding — Google review
We have just returned from our second visit to the Blue Cave Villas. This time we stayed in Harmonia - previously in Purple. Georgios and Monika are amazing - for instance helped book our Covid tests to return to UK - all done at the Villa, and cannot do enough for you with recommendations on places to eat etc. They have some really nice touches -for example providing some very nice wine and olive oil produced on site. The villas are quite with spectacular views. beautifully clean and incredibly relaxing. I would have no hesitation in recommending staying in any of the villas. We will certainly be back again!

Blue caves villa is probably the best place to be in Zakynthos, the largest islands in the Ionian sea. On the West cost where Zakynthos offers one of its most stunning views: the blue caves. They are also known as the blue caves of Volimes, the picturesque village where they are located. The distinctive element of the blue caves is that they reflect the vibrating and striking blue colour of the waters in them, which at the same time capture and reflect the shine of the limpid sky reflected on their surface. It is a secluded part of the island that has everything you are looking for. It’s an absolutely beautiful location with breathtaking views over the turquoise Ionian sea.

Heaven on earth. Unbelievable that you could have private access to the Priest's Cave and adjacent reefs to go swim and snorkel. Giorgos the owner is a scholar and a gentleman.

Hotel very good in a brilliant location, but the food let's it down terribly very basic food very little choices ,,and you have to move your cups and plates yourself ,we won't be coming back not worth the money, no entertainment

BRILLIANT. It's a great 3 star hotel. Iv just got back, September 23. So relaxing and fantastic spot. DO NOT TAKE NOTE OF ANY RUBBISH COMMENTS ON HERE. You get the Odd GRUMPY SOD Who expects 5 star and pay for 3 star. The rooms are very clean and cleaned regularly. It's run by a family and there staff and they are so friendly and helpful. Food It's great and plenty. And drinks bar as plenty of choice. Fantastic location and straight onto the beach and near the town if you fancy shopping or bars and restaurants. This is our 2nd time here and recommend to all. ITS A GREAT 3 STAR HOTEL and a great price for what you get. NOT 5 STAR HOTEL. Very relaxing place. Great for families to.

Just back from a week at this hotel.Lovely hotel prime location and very clean lovely owner who greeted everyone personally and remembered everyone by name. Down points. Not good food very little variation, nothing for kids, drinks watered down and served in very small plastic cups. You were also expected to clear your own tables which I didn't expect on an all inclusive. No rep ever comes to hotel.everything shuts down at 11pm on the dot and if you sit around the pool area late you are told to be quiet. Fine if you want a relaxing holiday and love Greek food. Would also like to point out that all food in the restaurant should be covered as there is a lot of flies there and they are often all over the food .Had to eat out 5 out of 7 nights there which is not what I expect being all inclusive.

Lovely family run hotel right on the beach. Short walk into town. Hotel clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. Food OK not much choice. No tea or coffee making facilities in room which was disappointing and you have to pay extra for the air conditioning

I loved the way this hotel is run and the staff in it. Run by a family and the owner/manager is extremely kind and helpful. Has a ln outside eating area right next to the seas with an amazing view and from what I can see almost all the rooms have a nice view. Food is very nice but not much selection.

Beautiful hotel and location great staff couple of criticisms is the drinks were only served in small plastic cups not very strong and the food and desert were same most days enjoyed our stay all the same , no entertainment at all 7/10

Amazing queit hotel right on the beach. Pebble shore in front of the hotel, but sand onwards in an extremely clear sea. Sandy beach right next to the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful including the owner.

Food is lovely but not for young people in the evening. The owners are beautiful people and staff are all so helpfull and nice. The place is spotless in a lovely setting. I would recommend this hotel if you want to relax however its not far to walk to the town for live music. I love this place.

Amazing holiday. Hotel was great. Beautiful location. Doris the receptionist was helpful and welcoming (welcomed us by our first names as we entered the hotel) which I thought was a nice touch. Rooms were clean and nicely equipped for our needs. Konstantin the owner was also helpful and welcoming. The bar and restaurant staff (especially Gabriel) were extremely tentative and wouldn't let us even clear our own plates. Read both good and bad reviews before arriving and didn't know what to expect. But we needn't had worried as it was fantastic. I guess you just can't please everyone.

The Olive Press Museum Zante offers a free tour that starts with antique tools outside and continues inside where employees explain the production process. Visitors can watch a video about production in different languages and taste various products at the end. The museum also offers the opportunity to purchase olive oil products at a reasonable price. Local olives are brought here for conversion into olive oil, with byproducts used for fertilizer. It's a great place to learn about olives and olive oil while enjoying some tasty samples.

Zakanthi is a relaxed seaside bar with a pretty garden which hosts live music nights in summer. It's a great place to meet fellow travelers and locals, who enjoy the cool yet quirky atmosphere.
Very pretty and scenic restaurant set back from the road, so much more relaxed and romantic than all the other restaurants. There are 4 well kept cats who roam and don’t bother you, the waiters told us they are well fed to stop guests being bothered. The food was lovely, the staff friendly and informative. Our waiter in particular was amazing and explained the food, helping us choose, we ate starter main and pudding (which we never normally do) with drinks and I felt the bill was more than reasonable, certainly not expansive. My wife said it was her favourite restaurant so far and that we must go back again before we leave. high praise indeed since we tend to try and eat in different places.

Service and atmosphere was very good. Starter was bruschetta shared followed by mains; Sea food paella which was very good. Beef steak was nice but was a bit more done than I wanted. Will go for medium to rare next time. Wine was a Merlot which was nice but cost over €30. All in all a good night costing €80.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this restaurant. I honestly can't find fault with anything. The food, the staff and the ambiance couldn't have been better. A little bit more expensive than other restaurants, but well worth it. We will be back!
Mark G Kiernan — Google review
The garden of this restaurant is amazing, the details of furniture combined with the live music offers you a nice internal peace. But, we went at 20... 21 o clock and if in the beginning the staff was friendly and promptly, as soon as the restaurant was full the staff was totally overwhelmed. We waited a lot for food and check and that was the reason which destroyed our internal peace 😔. The food was ok but I believe is the most expensive and the quantity is less than all I have eated. But... overall I recommend the place.

The service and atmosphere was really nice with a saxophone player performing live music (Saturday evening). Had bruschetta between the two of us. Mains were sea food paella and beef steak fro my self. Steak was little tough but did have good flavour. Instead of medium would get medium to rare next time. Wine was nice but prices at €30 plus. The whole meal came to €86 which was not to bad.

Great food but with consequences- Deeply Saddened to leave such a review On Saturday we visited the restaurant Zakanthi at Kalamaki. The environment was amazing. The seating area was at the back garden of the restaurant being surrounded by trees, flowers and fantastic smells. The waiters were really helpful and polite and they ensured we were wanted for nothing. The live music played by the talented saxophonist made it seem that this would be the best dinner we have ever had in Zante-however, as it will be explained below, this didn’t seem to be the case. When it comes to the food, prima facie it was absolutely AMAZING. For starters, we ordered the Zakanthi Salad with salmon avocado leaves and dried tomatoes that was amazing and Baked Feta Parcels with honey and sesame. We were also offered mushrooms with melted cheese and chips with garlic sauce that were on the house. As mains, I ordered the Stable Steak while the three people accompanying me ordered the Chicken Fillet Zakanthi with rice and a pork steak that I don’t remember the name respectively. In the end we were offered Watermelon and Melon which was on the house. As I told you before, this would easily be the best meal I have ever had in Zante if the unexpected event hadn’t occurred. The three of us that tried the mushrooms with the melted cheese-the fourth person didn’t try them-got diarrhoea one (1) hour later. I would have never thought that I would get diarrhoea from such a well-kept and good restaurant. I am sure that this event does not in anyway depict the hygiene standards of the restaurant and even if I am writing this review now, I can reassure you that it is worth visiting Zakanthi restaurant and what we experienced was just an isolated incident. Trust me I was really hesitant to write this review because I really liked their food and atmosphere but since I respect my readers and feel the responsibility to review restaurants and hotels honestly, I had to do it. To conclude, I am really sad to write such a review and to be honest, if this event hadn’t occurred, I would give 5 stars. Sorry Zakanthi.

Even though we didn't have reservation for dinner, they managed to find table for us with minimal waiting time. Excellent service, they were quick and always there, knew what to recommend, 5 ⭐. Beautiful atmosphere, cozy, we had a guy playing classic on 🎷 that night. We were more than pleased with our food, took some Greek traditional dishes, starting from olive spread, beef liver in balsamic sauce to Greek salad, lamb and beef specialties of the house. Chocolate surprise, like a cherry on top for the finish. Very good!!!

Came here with a large group. We ordered starters along with mains. They brought our starters out 15 minutes apart, meaning that some of our members had finished before others had got there starter. The waiters were obnoxious and very rushed. One good comment is that the food does taste nice.
Joe Nicklin — Google review
We ended up eating here because we saw the place a bit crowded and the people must go to a place where you can eat well. The service was awesome, the waiters were very polite, helpful and joyful. What I can say is that the gyros tasted good but it was a bit chewy. The prawns with tomato sauce came half peeled on the backside, and you had to do a lot of messy work to get the meat outs mind you while fully covered in tomato sauce . The bathroom was clean.

It's a very beautiful place, the food is on point and the pizza was very very good. The only thing negative is the waiting, it was very long.

We had a Seafood Pizza, some pasta and two times the salmon and prawns dish. The prawns on the pizza were not peeled. It looked like a pizza margarita with some seafood dropped on top and it had no flavour. The same applies for the salmon and prawns dish, the prawns were not peeled and also difficult to peel. The potato wedges and rice was also very dry. The salmon itself was ok though and the pasta was also nice. In general it was kind of disappointing.

The food is hearty and flavourful, with unique ingredients. Reservations are not necessary, but they're recommended because the restaurant gets crowded. Prices vary depending on where you sit; most people recommend sitting at the edge of the terrace to get great views of Marathoni Island.

The service is attentive and ensures you feel well taken care of during your dining experience. The prices are reasonable, offering excellent value for money. Great. Located off the beaten track, yet delivering one of the most beautiful view of Turtle Island from the main land — and serving great food: the Greek salad featured some nice textured feta cheese, tasty Kalamata olives and fresh vegetables. The chicken souvlaki was tender and tasty, with some French fries delivered with it. Service was great, and the view from the terrace made it into a lovely lunch in the afternoon.

Very good quality food! Fair prices and beautiful view, also friendly and fast service. What else can you ask for? Would totally recommend to anyone visiting the island!

We came here most evenings during our holiday and the food was utterly beautiful. The backdrop to the restaurant is stunning and thankfully the food and service matched it. Some restaurants rely on the scenery to bring in customers, Votsalo Taverna does not, it brings the wow factor with authentic Greek cooking and a service to match. The carafes of wine was the cherry on top. Fantastic.

I've been traveling in Greece for over 30 days. without a doubt top three of the restaurants I ate at. I highly recommend everything I ate, very tasty, impeccable service, fair price. this is the flavor I was looking for. my husband and I are returning for the 3rd time this week, we spend an average of 50 to 55 euros with a starter, wine, two dishes and two desserts.

Best resaurant on the Island. Had dinner once and we came back 2 times, for other items on the menu😀 Also local beers on the menu!!

Nice place to go especially for dinner. You have a nice view of turtle island. Besides that very delicious food and very friendly staff.

Lovely place, good food. The highlight of the meal was the octopus cooked in tomato sauce; I've never had such tender octopus! It literally melted in our mouths. The tzatziki was too heavy for my liking, and the portion too large for two people - but that is subjective. The grilled sardines were a little on the dry side, but it was nice to have some steamed vegetables in egg-lemon sauce served on the side. Very friendly staff!

Ordered a ribeye medium-rare and it came rare but it didn’t bother me that much really. As i was eating i noticed a good amount of fat and it was disgusting, i returned the plate and they brought me another one, as i was waiting the whole staff was looking me with anger. As the second plate came. It came again rare and with a smaller amount of fat to be honest i wouldn’t recommend it, ordering a 32€ plate and getting a plate like this is terrible. Good view tho 😂

Food was absolutely delicious and authentic. Great service and super nice atmosphere and attention to detail.

Sunset dinner with a view. The staff were all friendly. The wait was a bit long for the food to be served but they were all tasty. Servings were big as well, and the zuccini balls with tatziki was amazing, ate them long before i was able to take a pic.

The views are spectacular. Food was good. One suggestion I would pay 5 euros for a quick rinse off for a shower.

Nice tavern with good food. The highlight is the access to the water of the beautiful bay. You can park here for free if you rent sunbeds for 15€ per day. Good and friendly service.

The restaurant is nice and the surroundings are great. The service was good enough, but the staff could be friendlier and more present – we waited a lot to order since the place was a bit chaotic. Contrary to the service, the food was great. Also, ordering drinks at the sunbeds is quite expensive.

Tavern is located in amazing place with stunning view. Very popular and busy place. Recommendation to book a table in advance. Fish was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Unfortunately prawns were overcooked and with not removed veins. Worth to visit because of the location.

Cave Damianos Restaurant is located in the small town of Sarantaporo on the north-west coast of Zakynthos. The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor setting and serves Mediterranean cuisine, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also offers brunch on weekends and has a wide selection of drinks. Reservations are not necessary, but they are advised as the restaurant can get quite busy. There is ample seating both inside and outside, and wheelchair access is available.
Magnificent place with a beautiful view!! Great staff, very kind and helpful. And the food is delicious, best octopus starter I've ever had and the seafood linguine was also very tasty as well. Best dinner we had so far on Zakynthos.

Location and staff 5 star. Food only average, so a 4 star rating is fair. The location is amazing, located top of the hill with breathtaking view and sunset. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The appetizers were very nice but the main dish was rather disappointing.

Really nice place overall as the atmosphere and views are unbeatable. The food is quite good as well and the service is a bit slow unfortunately but the views make up for it. It’s also is a bit on the pricier side and the food is good but not phenomenal. Regardless we still had a really enjoyable time here and I’d definitely recommend people to try it out once for themselves as we’d probably return again ourselves one day because the Sunset views here on their own are worth the experience and the food is quite good as well.

Not to be missed! Stunning view, beautiful setting, lovely atmosphere, very well trained staff and very very very good food. It was fully booked on a Saturday evening. We made our reservation one week prior via email which they replied really fast

The view is just unbeatable! You absolutely feel like in a movie there, the island is fantastic and they placed this restaurant in the perfect place to appreciate the island's beauty. Food was ok, I got salmon, it's expensive but worth it for the view. They also have adorable cats. I would visit again.

We had an amazing evening! The restaurant does not only offer an amazing view, really kind and attentive service and outstanding food but also a great concept of enjoying your drinks or desserts in the different cozy seating areas of the place. Maria and her team really do an excellent job! Would recommend it any time!!!

Our stay was awesome. The whole staff was extraordinary friendly, the meal was great and the view outstanding. It was a pleasure to be there ☺️ we were 2 times in a week. Can really recommend it. If we will come back to Zakynthos, we will definitely go there again. Thanks for all 🙏

The location is just beautiful, just be sure to book in advance, way before the sunset, then you can enjoy the restaurant even more! The staff was amazing, very welcoming, food we ordered was okay, loved the starters, but the main, veal - not the best, but oh, desserts! Just lovely. Would love to come back to try more options from the menu.

Fantastic place for a drink and drink only. Food leaves much to be desired. Our salads were missing several key ingredients mentioned on the menu like beet roots and avocado. It's a little sad considering the potential of this venue. I'll always come back for a glass of wine. The view & feel of the place is stunning.

We have been here some days ago. It is a beautiful place you should visit for sunset! My tip: book a table 1,5 hours before sunset! Otherwise you are quite late. AND: book as early as possible (some days in advance) to make sure you get a nice table with a beautiful view!

On of the better resturants. Not because of the food, though it tasted good, but the People working there, the atmosphere, the location, the unique architecture makes it special. An experience going there, not only a restaurant. Beautiful view. Linguine and lamb chops, weak was delicious. The panacotta was perfect and refreshing. The chocolate fondant was made perfectly, a bit heavy dessert for me personally, but perfect for a chocolate and salt caramel lover.

A beautiful and unique restaurant situated away from the city on top of a cave (which you can visit). It oversees the forest and a small road. Highly recommend sitting next to the edge as you can see the scenery. A bit on the pricier side but the location and interior design make it worth it. We ordered the prosecco, a beer, sea bass fillet, and pork tenderloin with beer sauce + one of the salads. The food was all-around great and just the right amount. At the end we were given 2 complimentary drinks and 2 sweets. Great place if you want to get away from the city and have a (very) quiet and peaceful meal.

Probably the best place we have been on the island! Everything is just so perfect, from the food to the view! We actually came twice during our vacation. I highly recommend Cave Damianos, wish I could go there once again to admire the sunset!

Probably the best located restaurant in the area, with a superb view and very good food. The service is impeccable, the employees very kind and the wine exceptional. The quality of service is exceptional, but I recommend that you reserve a seat before going there, as it is always crowded. The sunset hours are the ones that offer the most beautiful view.
