Best view restaurant in Lefkada. Food is served in a beautiful way, but in average taste. Meanwhile, there was a wide variety of cocktails to choose for enjoying the spectacular sky view. Staff were very friendly. The hostess made sure we were welcomed, even though we weren’t dressed properly for the place ( just returned from Porto Katsiki beach). Waiters did their best in a high work flow. We were lucky to enjoy the special guest of the night, who played the saxophone and giving lively romantic atmosphere. Even though the higher than average prices, i would definitely return for everything else.

The food was exceptional and the recipes were refined and well performed. However I was expecting more "greekness" instead of Italian revisited dishes like tagliolini, risotto and burrata (which I can eat at home). The sunset view is stunning and the whole structure is marvellous, but still I'm not sure that this can justify such high prices. The cocktails were very good.

The ambiance and atmosphere here is fantastic. Unfortunately, staff are very aggressive in preventing people from taking pictures. Maybe a couple less tables so people can get a decent photo of the view - which is why most people come to a location like this. Food was okay, but you are paying for the view. Piano/ singer was great!

Amazing experience and one not to miss if on the island. Once in a life time experience. Reserve a table is a must. We got a table by the pool and the had live music on to. Perfect time to book is sunset as you can dine while watching the sun go down. Lots of photo opportunities. Food was expensive but amazing and even tasted better with the view and music. The better seats do require a set amount you have to spend. Our was €60 per person. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even a valet parking outside if you want to drop your car off. Also has a bar if you can't get a table. 100% go and book

Food, view, wine and staff worth the money! Best place to visit in Leukada by far, don’t leave the island without visiting that place. A quite difficult mountainous route with a lot of sort turns, but safe and careful on driving. There signs and lights everywhere.

Amente offers one of the best views in Lefkada. With a prepared and kind staff you really felt welcomed. The food was delicious, with a note for improvement for the pasta with shrimps which was not on the same level as the other dishes we took. However we tried eight different dishes and that was the only one which was not executed very well because of the sticky pasta. The other dishes were exceptional and well portioned. Amente has a variety of cocktails from which i can point out a delicious one , just enough amount of sour and sweet, Sunset Passion. The view and the live music made our experience memorable and was the cherry on top. A small note, although it’s understandable at some level, we were limited by the staff to take pictures standing during the sunset to not disturb other tables views. Having payed a premium position of the table, would be nice to have a little more flexible approach on this.

A great place with amazing views! We had a dinner there and the views were just amazing. But also the food was great, good quality, very tasty and also the portions were very decent. Staff was also nice and helpful. There was also live music, with a saxophonist and it was just great, it made the overall experience even better. Definitely recommended, it is true that for some tables there is a price limit per person, however there are also tables without set price limit and you still have a great view.

Amazing atmosphere with stunning views overlooking the ocean and west Lefkada. I had dinner on a Wednesday in July, the restaurant was busy but service was friendly and efficient. We sat on a minimum €60 person area by the poll. Overall food could’ve been better - specially the mains, which were average. Good wine list and drinks selection. A bit overpriced, as you’re paying for an experience not only a dinner.

Beautiful sunset. We sat at the bar while waiting for our reservation. Excellent food options. Would visit again. Only with reservation. The parking valet is 10 euros. Option for free roadside parking if you are lucky to find an empty spot. The road to the restaurant has many turns.

Incredible view lovely restaurant great drinks great vibes. Staff were amazing as well. Get there early because parking is on the side of a mountain unless you go valet, so it can fill up. Also try to get a booking if possible. We (2 of us) arrived without a booking and we're out on a list with a lot of other people. Wait was only like 20-30 minutes though so not too bad. Great spot for sunset views, bring a jumper after sunset though because it gets cold. They do have blankets in case you do forget. We sat at the bar not the restaurant, which was a super cute nook in a rock with a full 180° view of the horizon. There is a sushi menu for bar patrons which is very nice.

Really good food & drinks. The view is amazing, and they have romantic live music played by the pool. The atmosphere was great. Parking was limited, and we had to park on the side of the (narrow) street. Will definitely come back.

Yes, there's a minimum spending threshold per person for the tables at the nicest locations (near the pool, at the pool, within the pool and the nearby balcony), but you can get seated a little further from the pool where there's no minimum spending threshold. The food was truly awesome! We had high expectations and Amente delivered, and actually managed to surpass our greatest expectations! Everything we tasted was... very tasty, well thought and well cooked. The quantity per plate was very good for a gourmet (fine dining) restaurant. Those were probably the biggest portions I ever had in that style and kind of restaurants here in Greece. The setting and the view is amazing, especially during sunset. The personnel was professional and very kind. All in all a fantastic experience I would revisit without a doubt!

Great restaurant with hospitality staffs! Ordered the stuffed calamari as I’ve never tried that before, and it’s really good. The grilled sea bream was lovely, I can eat one by myself easily. At the end the in house little dessert was also very good. Def recommended!

This was a great experience really! The staff was so friendly and professional. The food was delicious, there were five of us and each of us had different meals and all of them were really tasty. Also the prices were totally fine and if we ever have a chance to come back to Nydri we will definitely visit this place. This is one of the places where you really enjoy the whole experience. This dinner made our evening. I had a Greek traditional Moussaka and can’t complain. Thank you!

We ordered the grilled shrimps and salmon linguini and they were exceptional. After a few unpleasant experiences with food in Lefkada, from highly rated places, we have finally found our place to eat for the rest of our trip. I definitely recommend this place! An unique touch, the bill was explained to us by the waiter, since everything is written in greek. This was very helpful and haven’t seen it before on the island.

Delicious food and good serving! We took a seafood plate for 2 and it tasted delicious, you could feel that seafood was fresh (not frozen). Everything we ordered was delicious and at the end we received a orange cake on the house.

Friendly staff, amazing food, big portions. I ate at different taverns every night since I came to Lefkada, but this was the first tavern where I really felt I was in Greece. Friendly staff, they made small talk and jokes with us. We also received a free dessert. I highly recommend this place.

I confirm the best fried squid on the island of Lefkada 🇬🇷🍤 I tasted the famous fried squid with a unique taste, very delicate and divinely prepared. You can feel the sea when you eat it. I have been to many restaurants during my stay on the island, but I find this restaurant better than all. I congratulate you on the structure and for the kindness of the owner. Waiters were very attentive and welcoming. Always asked how each course was. Music and atmosphere was very enjoyable. Both of our steaks were amazing and perfectly cooked. Again, waiters were amazing when it came to boxing up leftovers as our eyes were larger than our stomachs. Couldn’t be helped as when ordering the aromas coming out of the kitchen were mouth watering. Would highly recommend to anyone in Nidri looking for good food.

A good place to eat in Nidri if you want to experience local food. The experience overall was good but i have some negative aspects to point out: - the thing is that they seem to prioritize regular locals instead of respecting the queue - so, we went there by 8.30 pm, two adults and a toddler and the place was already crowded. Another couple was in front of us so we decided to wait for our turn. A table cleared and the couple in front got in. Suddenly another couple arrived, a regular client, and the waiter put us on hold to find a table for them. This was not ok from a restaurant perspective considering the queue and that there were no reservations made. Furthermore, at the table, waiting for the food is a bit of a lottery, depending on the order you will wait and sometimes they will bring you another order instead of what you wanted, compensating with something free on the house.

Amazing food and staff! Been here 3 times in 3 days and each time everything was perfect. The owner even brought us cakes to celebrate the double birthday in our group. They really pay very much attention to details.

Overall, it is a really good restaurant with attentive service. Though the food was not as expected by the reviews. Some dishes like shrimp tempura, crete salads, zucchini balls, and fried anchovies were good. But musaka was o.k we had better in other places. The biggest disappointment was the variety of seafood plates for 2. It was a lot of fried calmaries and fried anchovies and a little bit of mussles with a few tempura shrimps and 2 octopus slices.

On Thursday we were here with my boyfriend. It was our first night in Nydri and we spotted this lovely restaurant near the sea, decided to try it and it didn’t disappoint us. The food was delicious and fresh, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff was very kind and pleasant as well. All of the waiters were really great , especially Hercules, who offered us a compliment from the restaurant at the end of the evening, so thank you for that. If you decide to go to this restaurant, the squids are a must! Overall great experience and we will try it again for sure!! 🥂✨

Went there with my partner and had a great experience. We had the baked feta and aubergine salad to start and they were both lovely. We followed them up with the seafood platter for two, which was amazing and very generously portioned. We will be returning given a chance. Highly recommend.

All portions are large. sea food varsity for 2 is actually for 3. Food is so tasty. There were nothing to said bad about this restorant. We waited for table because we did not reserve but hostes came several times to tell us about waiting time. Service was fast.

We had such an amazing experience at Basilico! We served here best fish (sea bream and tuna steak) and best seafood! The waiter was so kind, he helped us with the best recommendations and everything was beyond expectations. Thank you!

The food is excellent. Every time I was blown away by the flavors. Olives are very tasty with feta cheese and wine. The service is professional and friendly. I had mousaka, linguini with salmon and grilled fresh tuna filet for dinner. I enjoyed it 😊

Great restaurant in Nidri. It was full for the entire evening, but we got our food very fast. If you’re up for seafood, the salmon linguini and linguine with clams were delicious.

The food was nothing less than excellent and delicious! We had to visit a second night just to enjoy their Orange Pie again! The menu is rather short, but based on both visits, everything is worth it! You can enjoy the sunset both on their ground level and on the second floor, but be advised that there is a lot more shade on the ground level, making the summer evenings more bearable.

We stopped here on the way back from Egremni, and it was one of the best lunches we have had on the island. We started with fried calamari, courgette balls, and marinated anchovies. I can’t tell you which was better - they all had their own star quality. But it was definitely a good mix if you are unsure on what to get. We had also added bread (I’m with an Italian, so this is a staple for a meal) and it was the best bread we have had. I think the bread here on the Ionian islands always tends to be very hard but this one was airy and springy - similar to a classic farmhouse loaf in the UK. We chose the local rose wine, it is quite sweet so I enjoyed it very much. But I wouldn’t be able have more than the 1/2 litre they give you. For a main course, we shared the fish of the day which was sea bream. It was perfect. I have no other words. Feeling very full, we asked about a digestive. They recommended a local wine mixed with honey. Incredible! Very sweet so we loved it. If you are on your way to/back from Egremni, I highly highly recommend this restaurant - the service is top! Very friendly, funny and welcoming. Beautiful views and nice atmospheric music.

Very nice taverna, with a gourmet kick in comparison to the ones seen so far on lefkada island. Definitely recommend the sea bass filet and stuffed aubergines. Very attentive service and fair prices. Have a go at it.

A really nice place to eat your lunch. The view is amazing because you can see the sunset clearly on top floor. The food was delicious and well served in time and quality. We took two special dishes of the day and it was worth it. The stuff was cosy and kind with us. I recommend it to couples families and friends. We had a great time

An exceptional location with a great view to eat. Unfortunately this didn't go very well for us. Starting with the salad we saw a piece of plastic in it. The second problem was with the shrimp pasta. As you can see in the photo the shrimp was not property cleaned. This is unacceptable for a plate that costs 15 euros. But everyone can have a bad day right?. The most disappointing thing was tho that noone apologized to us, not even the brunette waitress. The second waitress that came afterwards was more polite but still no apologize from anyone. I give 2 stars and not 1 only because the tastes were nice.

The best place we have eaten at Lefkada island. Don’t miss it you cross this road! Nice service, beautiful surroundings with a panorama, and very delicious food. We tried the pomegranate salad, the gyros plate, the soufflé and the orange pie, all of them were very tasty. The homemade lemonade and the ice cappuccino is also worth the try.

We loved that place! The staff was very friendly. Their black pasta was delicious, also the zuchini balls and shrimp pasta. Homemade and fresh. Their house rose wine is amazing. We also bought a bottle of it. The orange pie was perfect for the end. They also gave us a shot of homemade liquer. While we were eating we watched one of the best sunsets in Lefkada. I really recommend to visit.

A wonderful family tavern in Athani. We went to have lunch and didn’t regret it at all. We took from the specials of the day menu: sea bream, pork gyros and moussaka. All of them were very good, very well cooked fish and even home made potatoes for gyros. Highly recommended!

We have been last year in Lefkada and having dinner very often in this place. Since then we are mentioning every little how perfect the food was. I never ate better fish specialities after then, and i ate on many places. Just perfect!!! I will come again for sure!!!

We enjoyed our dinner so much that we came back two nights in a row! The owner Fillipos and his staff are so kind and welcoming and go above and beyond to serve their customers. The view of sunset is incredible. Everything we tried was delicious, including the ouzo shrimp, pasta, meatballs, pomegranate and fig salad, octopus, and gyros. The feta me meli is a must. We can’t wait to come back again on our next visit to the island.

This place is gorgeous at any given time, but especially at sunset. The ambiance is nice and chill and the service is top notch. Friendly staff and eager to help. The price/quality ratio is something that I’ve rarely seen before. 100% would recommend.

The food and service were extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations, each dish was unique and full of flavour with big size portions per plate. we had a beautiful dinner in this restaurant on the 23rd April during Easter weekend! while outside was going crazy, inside was a haven of calm and amazing food! all of the cheese starters were incredible along with the Shrimp Saganaki. the moussaka was the best I have tasted! The staff were fantastic and super friendly too! Highly recommend.

From all the restaurants, we choose to come to Nissi and this was the best decision:) We were there at 17:00 and ordered raviolli with lobster, sardines and a traditional dish of feta in dough with thyme- it was amazing!!! The combination of tastes and their harmony brought us a taste pleasure. The atmosphere of the team is very friendly, which means that the owner of the restaurant is a person who cares about those with whom she works. We parked along the main street near boats and walked 2 minutes to the square where the restaurant is located. Would like to come again.

I got the grilled octopus for 25€. The potatoes were cold and not tasty at all, something like an oriental salad. The octopus was amazing, one of the best I've eaten. The Greek salad was also very good, good seasoning. The atmosphere isn't at all chill, it is very loud since it is in the center. I don't know how this got Trip's Advisor best restaurant.

The most amazing fresh seafood and loveliest hospitality from the staff. We come back every time we visit Lefkada and recommend all our friends to visit. Olga is such a beautiful welcoming and friendly presence who creates an absolutely blissful ambiance that pairs perfectly with a gorgeous risotto, stunning seafood pasta, and a carafe of delicious house wine. It is always a delight to eat here, and we will return at every opportunity we can.

Best english breakfast i had in Lefkada. They have a terrace near the boats, with a very nice view. The service was very good and fast.

Great little place to visit in Vlicho, the people make an effort and support the committee. Nice relaxing nights for drinks and great nights when bands are playing. Went to a pazar last week very nice items and deals loved Athanasias cakes.

Good food friendly atmosphere. Outside bar near the main nidri to vasiliki Road so can be noisy. Handy if you are anchored in vlicho Bay.

We have just had Vliho Yacht Club complete major work on our boat. Standing rigging and all sea cocks replaced. The service was excellent and the skill and professionalism of all the staff involved was second to none. Would highly recommend, great service at a reasonable price. Thank you.

Brilliant bar in Vliho. A good selection of draught beers and Guinness. Food options are well thought out and plates are filling! A good friendly crowd. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. New little terrace area next to the boats is beautiful

Vliho Yacht Club has a solid 5 star rating and in our opinion it would be worthy of 10 plus! As a boat owner our yacht - Poseidon has been maintained and chartered by Vliho over the past 7 years so we know the outfit pretty well. Poseidon has been impeccably maintained by Ruairi and his team over this period always keeping her in tip top condition. The administration and management of the boat has been brilliant and highly professional with our cruising time on the boat always being well organised with nothing being too much trouble for Vicky and her admin team. Add to that a great restaurant and bar run by competent and friendly staff is it any wonder that place is such a great success! Congratulations to the the Vliho Team for running such a First Class operation!
