Casa Parlante Museum is a historic mansion from the 19th century that displays animatronic figures and period interiors, providing visitors with an entertaining and informative experience. The furnishings are authentic to the time period, while the puppets add humor to the tour. Knowledgeable and friendly guides lead visitors through a 30-minute tour, followed by ample time for exploring and photography.
Very enjoyable, they have recreated a town house and told the story of an aristocratic corfiate family. We were given a tour in English that was done by a lovely lady to just me and my wife; the guide was open to questions and enjoyed exchanging stories.
N.b. I think you need to be a young adult/adult to enjoy it.

We visited this museum because it had top ratings- and now I know why. Such adorable female guide led us through the story of an aristocratic family with lots of interesting details. She knew the answer to all our questions! If you come, you will be greeted by a wonderful decor with a welcome drink. And after that, the story begins.. thank you so much for having us. 💜

Lovely little museum with a fantastic guided tour that clearly explains the history of Corfu during the early 1900’s. Plenty of original artefacts. Small enough for a half an hours visit.

A great opportunity to look inside a 19th century Greek aristocracy home. A lot of authentic subjects of domestic use and high quality replica.

A fun and informative look inside an old aristocratic family's household. All the furnishings are age-correct, the puppets are very funny and the guides well-informed and friendly. Definitely worth a visit. The tour takes roughly 30 minutes and afterwards you can look around and take as many pictures as you want.

I really enjoyed the visit! Our guide took us into a journey to the past which was captivating, full of information and fun facts. Great place if you like to learn something and feel the spirit of XIX century. Whole visit takes around 30 minutes, big plus for the English pronunciation of our guide! 😊

A cool ethnographic museum, especially if you haven't been to any similar museums in Greece before.
We were guided through a 19th century aristocratic mansion, and found out more about its history and the lives of its former tenants. We had the chance to see original furniture, paintings and other heirlooms, which all came alive due to the animated figures.
Personally, I would have preferred much more time to explore the rooms, to look at the memorabilia, and to read the various signs. Still, it was very enjoyable.
Tickets cost 10 euro per person, including the guided tour, which lasted about 30 minutes.

Very nice museum everything so well organized and especially the guide Olymbia was really sweet and explains everything so well! It’s obvious that the personnel cares about their work and their positive behaviour is a plus for this museum! Also the drinks that gave us to try in the start were also very nice!

Really interesting little museum showing an aristocratic household as it was in the past. Knowledgeable guide, tour was in English and they also do other languages.

Very nice experience. The receptionist and our guide were so kind. You should definitely take the tour, it is a well organised storytelling about the customs of Corfiot aristocracy and everyday life. Almost all items within the museum are original masterpieces from the 19th century.

Awesome experience!
The museum is really beautiful with animatronic dolls that describe the story of the members of the family that used to live there. The tour guides are really helpful with a lot of historic knowledge and they provide tours in more than one language (Greek, French, English).
All in all a great experience. I would definitely recommend it!

Excellent venue if you want to learn something about Corfu's history and her society in the 19th century. Well informed guides. A must visit for the conoscenti!
The Holy Church of Saint Spyridon is a Greek Orthodox religious site from the 16th century, renowned for its towering bell tower and intricate painted ceiling. It holds great historical and cultural significance, serving as a symbol of the country's rich heritage. The church has been well-preserved over time and remains an impressive architectural feat to this day. Its grandeur attracts visitors from all around the world who come to admire its beauty and learn about its history.
The Corfu Museum of Asian Art is a former palace that now houses an extensive collection of Chinese, Japanese and Indian artwork. Its exhibits include a variety of stunning artefacts ranging from ancient bronzes to carvings in onyx and ivory. The museum boasts a diverse range of displays, including jade carvings, snuff bottles, Graeco-Buddhist figures, samurai armour and Noh masks. One gallery takes visitors through the history of Chinese ceramics.
Very informative and easy reading. I agree with the last reviewer a must see.
Set on 3 floors starting on the first floor. Mask and Covid pass is required.
I have added pictures and info which I found particularly interesting. There is a lot more interesting things to see so please visit.

Simply one of the most interesting and well-arranged museums I have ever been to! Rare exhibits, detailed descriptions, everything was very well-organized and I felt enriched after visiting this place. I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in Eastern history and culture.

Unbelievable. First time I had the chance to meet the far east cultures and I was amazed by the variety and the exhibitions. Must seen for sure. It took us around 2 hours to go through all the rooms but we wanted to read almost everything in detail. For sure you can make it in 1:30 if you skip some rooms that are not so interesting

A great museum to learn useful historical and cultural information about the Hinduist, Chinese, Southeast Asian, Japanese and Central Asian civilisations! Located in the beautiful palace of Saint George and Saint Michael, just a few meters from Liston in the Old Town, this is a must visit when in Corfu! So unique and different! Well worth the 3 euros per ticket!

A must to visit if you like museum and Asian arts 😬 a lot to read and see!
Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Air conditioning during the walks! 😁
You can't take a photo at the exhibition but outside is the best place to take a photo of Old Corfu Fortress!!!

Very interesting Museum, peaceful, dark.
I will not recommended for small children, because they can't touch anything. Poor explanation. I will recommended you to buy ticket for 5 Museum's directly - it's much cheaper 😉

Super worth the visit! First of all the building is breathtaking! It feels like walking in a palace, it has winding stairs, a throne room, a reception room etc.
The exhibits are small in number overall, but the museum is large and interesting, especially if you like art/art history. They seem to be adding new stuff, which is great!
The museum is very close to a park, to a beach and to the old town with many shops and restaurants nearby.
The market in the old town of Corfu is a colorful and charming place with a variety of local products for sale. There are restaurants nearby where you can enjoy excellent food at reasonable prices. The market is a great place to wander around and explore the small streets, tasting different flavors and smells.
If you're thinking of visiting Corfu, don't. Book your ticket! Such a beautiful island and a very picturesque town! You can find anything you want in the market between the smalls streets, in great quality. Even if you don't want to buy anything, walking around the streets with an ice cream in hands can definitely make your day!

This is a wonderful old town. Unfortunately it is suffering from the Greek economic downturn and has the feeling of a ‘faded beauty’ which is charming but heading towards slightly unmaintained. The swallows(I think) that fly over the town in autumn are fabulous. There are so many shops and restaurants there is something for everyone. Some lovely churches too.

Beautiful market that is bustling with people and shops selling some really cool stuff for everyone! Explore the interior, smaller streets for the low prices!
Getting there by public transport would be most ideal in my opinion and then you have to walk 5-7min to get to the market. Most of the shops and restaurants on the outside were not exactly cheap (eg the casual summer dresses for ladies were around 60-70-80€ which was on the higher side). But the more interior we got, the narrow streets- the prices were less like the dresses were around 20-30€, Cork bags that looked so cool were 24€, a specific handbag that I purchased for 30€ in Verona Italy was only 15€ here ... so definitely explore. We even found a few restaurants that were serving authentic Greek cuisine for low rates.

We loved it, I just feel one day was not enough time to see everything. We will be back and next time will arrange for more time to explore.

Gorgeous. Big. Luxurious. Amazing. The place is soo aesthetically pleasing it's surreal. I loved every moment of my stay in the Old Town. I would go again and again. The place is huge. It has everything you need. From clothes to food. There are many different shops which sell many different things. I loved it so much and I would recommend everyone to try it for themselves. It's absolutely necessary.

We managed to hit spot on the storm in corfu, so we had a few rainy days, which turned out to be a blessing for exploring the town. 14,000 steps later and many coffees and sugary snacks we saw I think almost all of it and had a really nice day. Beautiful place with tons of coffee shops and restaurants to choose from highly recommended you explore as much as you can, especially if there's a bit of cloud around to save you from the baking sun!

Corfu Old town much differs from others all over Greece. That's because of almost four centuries of Venetian rule here.
Walking its streets you get a feeling being in Italy, not Greece.
The town is very nice to explore both day and night.
Two fortresses guard it - Old and New, both built by Venetians, between which is a beautiful maze of historic stone streets with many Churches, historic places and of course bars, restaurants and shops.
Cafe Liston Gastrotheque is a great place to visit if you're looking for amazing food and excellent service. The cafe has a wide variety of dishes to choose from, as well as an impressive breakfast menu. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, making it a great place to spend a relaxing morning or afternoon.
Lovely place to visit! ❤
I can definitely recommend also their breakfast menu. If you're keen to taste something unusual than just another sunny side eggs and toast, go for the Strapazzata. You'll get delicious scrambled eggs with tomato, herbs and feta along with nice loaf of local bread. OH my... yummy!!! 🍅🧀🍳
Service was always very nice and thoughtful.

I don’t usually go twice to the same restaurant during vacation, but this place has it all: great food, excellent iced coffee and very friendly and helpful staff.
It’s one of my favourite spots in Corfu, totally recommend it! ❤️

Stunning place to have a coffee and enjoy sunny morning but I do not recommend omelette. Omelette was just okay, no seasoning and I found some egg shells. Very disappointing. It’s a Liston where you can’t go wrong with a basic cooking. The worse part there is no improvement, I wish they would do something about it cause it’s a shame for a location. Will recommend to have a coffee for sure.

We did not love the food - it was good, but very dry (chicken ceasar burger and club sandwich). The club comes with a huge plate full of fries. Super aggressive pigeons were ruining the mood - I was seriously thinking one would attack me for the food. The waiter tried to shoo them away and eventually threw some seeds over the field, which drew them away. The waiter was lovely and maybe other dishes there are better.

The meat platter for two is huge, but taste wise mediocre. My favourite thing was the Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts. It is delicious, definitely recommend it.
The location is lovely, it’s a good place to sit and relax in the afternoon. I also liked to cappuccino freddo.
Unfortunately the bathroom is unkept and in bad condition.

Great brunch. Best I had in Corfu.
The staff is also very attentive and nice and they make you feel very welcome. They also provide free water which is more than welcome especially during hot summmer days.
Great service!

We came without reading reviews. Dinner card is pretty simple but good quality with decent prices (considering where it is located). We took a fish and chicken burger which were delivered with tasty potatoe wedges. Tip: take the greek salad with it to remember you are in Greece 😉. Fast service and a lot of (almost too much) food.

we had breakfast here on our last day at corfu. we found this restaurant on tripadvisor because it has great reviews. i have to say that i was quite disappointed. the food was all in all alright. we sat outside and were disturbed by pigeons all the time. the surrounding is quite nice tho. you sit in between the liston and the old fortress. the toilets were clean as well.
for me the big minus points are the waiters. we sat there a ling time without anyone noticing us. for the whole stay we always had to keep the attention on us, because otherwise no one would have cared about us. no one asked if everything was alright and all of them gave us the feeling that we are not welcomed. quite disappointing, we won‘t come back.

We went here for some drinks and they were of good quality. Their outside seating area is well designed and comfortable.
The restrooms inside the restaurant though could do with some renovation.

We stopped here for some lunch after arriving in Corfu and everything about it is beautiful. The atmosphere is relaxed and there are plenty of fans to keep you cool on a hot day. The food was delicious and the staff were kind and attentive - especially Joanna! We’ll definitely be back 😊

Had the beef burger (11 euros) & vegan burger (10 euros), was very tasty. Vegan burger had lots of sauce & both burgers came with wedges. Would recommend. Nice ambiance & outlook onto the park.
