Following his life and research themes, the seven sections of the broadest and most exhaustive historical-representative survey ever dedicated to his work illustrate, with over 50 masterpieces on display, the entire artistic-aesthetic parable of the master over the decades and the always highest of the contemporary pictorial outcome. The exhibition "Soffiantino. Between object and indefinite" has the curatorship of Luca Beatrice, Michele Bramante and Adriano Olivieri.

The International Alba White Truffle Fair is a must-visit event for food enthusiasts. Held in mid-November, this fair showcases the rare and highly-prized Alba white truffle, also known as "white gold." Visitors can join truffle hunting expeditions with trained hounds through oak forests and then savor their unearthed treasures with a glass of wine. The festival also features other culinary delights such as Nebbiolo, the region's iconic red grape.
Had a really lovely time exploring the tent. Went at opening so it wasn’t too busy. Tickets can be purchased online or there.

Amazing, truffle festival, with wine tasting food, sampling, salami, bread , pannetone. Etc. Great experience. We lived the truffle potato chips, caramel pannetone, organic Barolo wine

Wow event. High class. Order pasta at the local buffet and just put ca. 10 Grams of truffles, which you should buy at the fair. It’s fantastic and not that expensive, as in a restaurant.

Full Piedmontese experience!
Festival was full of people, wine and truffles 😊
Very good atmosphere, excellent local Barollo vine producers and a lot of organic food producers of cheese and meet, especially sausages. Most products are flavored with vine or truffles, and honestly they taste spectacularly!
This is one full gastronomic experince and have a full recommendation from my side 😊

Opens on Saturday and Sunday during October & November. This is a must do if you are in the area of Alba during this time. You will not find the variety of Truffles, local meats, wines and hazelnuts any where else. BUY TICKETS IN ADVANCE, line to buy at the door was over 100 people. Online tickets had no one, we walked right in. Wine tasting comes with a wineglass and carrier. We bought a lot of regional products and had a blast.

Great place to buy truffles, wine and other local specialities.
You can also have lunch.
The entrance fee is 4 EUR if you add 9 you can have a tasting glass and 2 wine tastings.
The only condition to enter is a valid covid pass

A lot of interesting products, you can try almost everything. Great value for the wine ticket, every vendor was helpful and polite. Would definetely recommend. Only negative thing was the lack of meal choices.

I really love this festival - I’ve been several times now and Alba itself rolls out the red carpet for the fest too. The booths are so much fun, be sure to get the wine tasting options it’s fun - there’s a whole row of vintners too taste wine as well.
The tartufo smell is super strong but I love it - it always surprises me! Mellow and intense and I really love the oil that is easy to purchase with family run farms and booths with personal service.
Loved the cheese tastings too! 🧀

This is our first time at the festival. It is so much fun! We got to try the loca wines, cheese, and all things truffle! We talked to very knowledgeable people about their craft and enjoyed their hospitality. We will definitely come back!

It turning to become a joke...carnival like security and entrance fee ... where are the good old belly shops in the streets... where real local Tartuffo hunters proudly present their treasures in their wind and weather worked hands? ...prices climbing to the roof but less and less truffles are really from the Piemonte... I know the season was hard and dry ... but before keeping up that circus, for such prices the customer deserves AOC stuff and not import from Slovenia or other places (not that they are not good, but prices then should be honest and lower) ... the Saturday marked at Alba though is as great and lively as ever.

Alba Sotterranea - Ambiente & Cultura (prenotazione in anticipo obbligatoria) is a must-visit for families keen on delving into history. These underground archaeological sites provide captivating insights into Alba's Roman heritage. The guided tours, often tailored to engage younger audiences, bring history to life for kids. Visitors praise the knowledgeable guides who share intriguing historical anecdotes and ensure an enriching experience.
Interesting tour of underground sunrise.
Today we visited 3 points thanks to the archaeologist Gianmarco. I wish I could see all the other sites too!!!

Very poor provision for non Italian speakers.
Don't be taken in by the printed text in your language, it does not correlate to the visit, and you won't have time to read it.
A sadly missed opportunity as the expense and effort of opening these spaces stops far short of making the non Italian visitor able to get much from the experience.

(Translated by Google) I'm undecided whether two stars or five. Two for what you see or 5 for the guide's in-depth preparation and his ability to catalyze attention between historical explanations and more. Having found this visit while wandering around the internet, we booked the day and time online (booking in advance was almost mandatory). From the photos and explanations found on the internet I imagined something completely different. “visit to the underground city of Alba”. I expected more, a two-hour visit where some walls of the foundations of ancient towers or houses are shown. It really takes a lot of imagination to see the underground city. The visit was saved by the preparation of the guide, a boy with truly profound knowledge and broad dialectical skills. Visit booked in advance, price €12. We then discovered that for late bookings or reservations made on site, the price is slightly higher. The purchase of the ticket entitles you to free entry to the city's main museum and also entitles you to a visit to a tower at a cost of €1.

Visita prenotata in anticipo, prezzo 12 €.

The wine tasting was great and we had to buy few bottles to enjoy it once back home.

It's a shame we had a quite unpleasant time at Adriano. We went through the standard vinification - cellar - tasting process and it was ok. But during tasting, because there was another bigger group, we were set outside (it was very hot) on ourselves almost the whole time. The girl showed up once every 10 minutes to just pour the wine, 1) without leaving the bottles for us to read the label and take the photos we wanted and 2) did not leave any time for us to ask any questions. The wines were ok but it was so unprofessional and definitely one of the worst experiences we had going to many different Italian wine regions and wine estates. We did not buy any bottles from them.

Piazza Michele Ferrero is a vibrant hub of activity during the two-month truffle fair, especially on the first few weekends. Locals eagerly anticipate events like the Sfilata parade, Palio degli Asini donkey races, and the lively Baccanale. The Sfilata and Palio are closely linked, with the former leading directly to the excitement of donkey races.
