Rhyl Miniature Railway is a historic train ride powered by steam engine, dating back to 1911. The train takes visitors on a one-mile ride around Marine Lake, which makes it an ideal attraction for children. In addition to the train ride, there are other activities such as crabbing around the lake and a heritage nature trail. Visitors can also explore the small interactive museum by the platform and purchase drinks and snacks from the gift shop. A play park is available for children as well.
Lovely little train ride around Marine Lake, especially for the children. Not too expensive at £3 adult and £2 child.
For no cost there is a small interactive museum by the platform. There is also a gift shop that sells drinks and snacks. There is crabbing around the lake and a heritage nature trail. Also there is a play park for the children.

Fantastic little railway full of charm running around the local marine lake. The kids loved riding on the locomotive they didn’t want to leave

Miniature railway with a train that takes you around the lake. There’s a small museum with some fun things for kids and history on trains. Also a shop selling crabs nets and buckets and other things. Great for a family day out. Large car park near Aldi 👍

It’s nice place to be with kids and bring the kids in you. They will take you around the lake and you would experience the feel of exploring things your way. I would recommend the open seating as they are amazing and adds to the fun.

Really nice. Was brilliant the train and the View we want to come back in the summer. Thank you so much for wonderful time and Santa 🎅

The miniature railway is around 20-30 minutes walk from 'The Sands Beach' hotel (a very bad hotel). The miniature railway station is off the main road facing the beach/promenade. It is hidden behind Aldi and the Range stores.
The miniature railway station is a must visit if you are either a train enthusiast, have kid's that you want to be kept entertained or to spend quality family time together.
The train ride lasts around 10-15 minutes on a single lap around the lake within the same area/compound. The cost for the ride is £3 for adults and £2 for kid's. See my pictures for the opening and closing times according to the season.
The miniature railway station also offer the chance to go crab finishing and that can be purchased from the same shop were you can buy the train ride tickets from.
It also has a small museum which there is no cost to enter - free. The museum is dedicated to all thing's trains from the past mainly.
A must visit if you are in the area 👍🏼.

We spent the day in Rhyl and stumbled upon
the miniature railway.
What a treat. Surprisingly dog friendly as
well. (A comical challenge with our black
lab) ! Very enjoyable ride around the lake.
Museum and shop are great and staff
very friendly and helpful.
Nice location to fish for crabs, or just
saunter around the water.
Brilliant play area for the kids too.
Recommended.

It's fine, It's cool. I recommend this place, it's nice and nice and there is a climbing area. This place is suitable for all those who want to have fun. The trip goes around the lake and there are nice views. Sometimes people come across who swim, but this is most likely until September, it’s beautiful there and it doesn’t cost so much, I advise you to ride there. :)

We went yesterday with our nearly 2 year old to the Christmas Event and it was amazing! Everyone there was so lovely and you really felt like you were in Santa’s Grotto. We were given a bag with snacks, a drink and mince pies for the journey too. The gift was so personal to each child too. The staff working there were LOVELY! Highly recommend!☺️

Amazing to see and ride on and really well priced considering. £3 per person.

The Rhyl Beach is a great place for family time. It has a beautiful sandy beach, perfect for kids. The tide retreats and hundreds of fascinating rockpools form when the tide goes out, great for crabbing. The place is clean and peaceful, unfortunately the tide was low when we visited so we couldn't go into the water but other than that it's a recommendable spot to visit.
Beautiful beach and perfect for some quality family time. Luckily we found a parking spot right next to the beach and we didn't had to carry our backpacks for a long distance. The place is clean and peaceful. To bad the tide was low and we couldn't enter the water but other than that I recommend everyone to visit.

The best part about Rhyl was the beach & chatting to dog walkers. It was nice & calm. The rest of Rhyl I felt was run down and not up to scratch. Closed toilets during opening hours, random screaming in town centre, many closed attractions despite other towns having theirs open... I felt an eerie vibe & the council not keeping this town going at all.

Came to the Rhyl air show. Was amazing, there was big crowds and the event was free and saw some amazing planes in action.
Definitely recommend you go when its next on you won't be disappointed.
Get there early and park up. There is plenty to do in rhyl while you wait for it all to begin so you can make a full day of it.

Outstanding sandy beach on a tranquil Welsh coastline and thought I would come back and visit today and had a really good experience I also visited Tuesday at high tide it nearly covers most of the beach and at low tide it goes out for miles leaving a couple of sandbanks be aware when the tide comes in you can be cut off easily so check the tide times before coming it was very quiet on the prom and lifeboat station right next to the beach brilliant beach for windsurfers very short walk from town centre and there is a few things to do in Rhyl like the cinema and aquarium amazing scenery at low tide an and had a brilliant experience paddling when I was here Tuesday at low tide as there was a fantastic sunset and loads of wind turbines offshore you can see in the distance there was toilets on the seafront but they were closed Sky tower is a great place for parking and only £3 all day much cheaper than places like Brighton and Yarmouth

Lovely sandy beach and clear water. The closer to the centre, the more people there are. If you go further away, it’s quieter. Your choice:) There’s one outdoor shower, which is near to the centre beach side. (you can look up from the map along the beach/sea front)

Beautiful beach not that big but does have a few arcades to keep the kids busy after a day on the beach ... It seems there is a lot of building and development going on near the beach front .. alot as changed in the last few years so could be thriving in the next five years .nice place .

The SeaQuarium in Rhyl is an aquarium situated by the sea that boasts over thirty exhibits featuring a variety of aquatic species. In addition to this, there is also an outdoor cove that houses seals. The staff at the aquarium are very friendly and knowledgeable about the different creatures on display, making it highly educational for those interested in marine life. Visitors can observe fascinating sea creatures such as fish, octopus, lobster and even see performances by Sea lions keeper with commentary.
Magical couple of hours spent here. Highly recommend the breakfast with the seals experience, was a bit damp outside due to it being late October so they gave us breakfast in the aquarium tunnel, just as charming, after breakfast we went through and had an exclusive viewing of the seals and was able to participate in feeding them too. After which we were left to view the aquarium at our leisure. Great time lots of good memories, thank you so much for having us!

Great place to come and visit. Staff are nice and the place is tidy and clean.
There are lots of animals to see, tanks are clean and animals are easy to see.
Sea lion show was awesome and the open tanks were brilliant. Good access for wheelchairs and plenty of cheap parking in the multistory nearby.
Food and drink is also reasonably priced in the cafe.

Family of 5 was £62.50 it was good but not worth the money in my opinion. We did also see the seal show which made for better value for money.

Visited Rhyl Sea aquarium for the first time. My friends and I had a really good time. The staff are very friendly and there is so much to see. It's highly educational if you're interested in aquatic Sea life. From fish 🐟 octopus 🐙 and other interesting Sea life including lobster 🦞. There are also Sea lions outside in the pool and there's a performance by the Sea lions keeper with commentary. I can't say it's a cheap day out as even children have to pay almost as much as an adult. 2 adults and 2 children cost £42 which is alot as the place isn't huge. You wouldn't spend a whole day inside. But I suppose it isn't cheap operating an aquarium. Its well worth a visit if you're in Rhyl 👍

Really wanted to take the three children out without breaking the bank and something different to do. So I took them here, somewhere I’ve not been for a very long time. Price is more than enough for what is there. 25 minutes it took us, start to finish. And that is with the kids looking in every viewing point. (When they could see through the murky water and dirty windows) they still managed to have fun and see the fish.

Awesome little place. Spent about 90 mins there. Paid online so got a good price for admission, well worth it for the seal show (Nelly is no.1 good girl). Decent variety of sealife, seems like a great place for kids and plenty parking nearby.
People commenting how it took them 30 minutes clearly aren't stopping to watch the fish, or read the info boards and just walk around, so they should have just gone to a pet shop.
Jordan Walmsley — Google review
Some beautiful aquatic life here. Quite a bit to see considering it’s size. It’s a bit grubby though and some tanks were so discoloured it was difficult to see the fish/sharks etc properly. Started watching the seal show for my daughter, but left early as it just didn’t seem ethical. But that’s just a personal observation/feeling.

Family of 4 is £58, not bad price. The cafe is clean, food was tasty and staff were friendly. Came on a wet day so didn't see the seal show, but walking through the tunnel with the fish over you was the best part. Lovely day out and definitely go back.

Booked tickets online. You were able to come and go throughout the day. Kids enjoyed looking round and doing the touch and feel item that was available. They also enjoyed seeing the seal show. We had photos done and the one we ended up buying was a little dark (and a bit expensive at £8.50) although the seal bubbles was on top form with the poses. The only downside was waiting for over 20 minutes to view and buy the photo as the service was very poor and slow.
Laura Jones — Google review
It’s a lovely day out here, my 1 year old loves it especially the jellyfish tank. And the food in the cafe is tasty! The seal show is an added bonus too. Can’t comment on the staff as we never seem to have much interaction with them besides the shows.
But I have to give 4/5 as I do think it’s quite expensive especially when there’s a full family of people, when you can get around the whole place in 1-2 hours, it’s costly for not a full day out. I do wish they did family tickets.
Definitely worth buying tickets online before you visit as they are 10% cheaper 😊
The Pavilion Theatre Rhyl is a two-tier auditorium that hosts a wide range of performances, from West End touring shows to community-led theatre. The venue boasts an excellent staff who are friendly and helpful, as well as exceptionally clean and posh toilets. Located in Llandudno, it is easily accessible by road. Additionally, the foyer/bar area is immaculate and welcoming. Visitors can opt for parking down a side road close by to avoid charges at the car park.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Pavilion to watch a concert. The staff were extremely nice, friendly and helpful and the venue itself was very nice with exceptionally good toilets. They were very posh and clean, as was the foyer/bar area etc. As we are also just down the road in Llandudno, it was nice and easy to get to and from. We didn't use the car park to avoid the charges, so decided to park down a side road close to the venue. All in all, the venue was excellent, the show was fantastic and I'd return on any number of future occasions. Excellent venue.

A nice tasty meal in the restaurant served by attentive and friendly staff. The show we saw was the Billy Joel and elton John. It was truly superb. It was worthy of a West end showing. I was surprised that it was not that well attended though. The pavilion is a lovely theatre, the seating is comfortable with plenty of leg room and the parking is very close and free after 5pm

It's the first time I have been in Rhyl Pavilion, and I was really impressed by the layout, the access to the theatre, the width of the stage and the seating. I've been in a few older theatres but often the seats are not comfortable by the end of the show, but these were excellent.
Plenty of car parking space as well.
I went to the Christmas pantomime, with Chico and a great cast that included my niece Jessica who was one of the excellent performers.
I will definitely return to this theatre, totally recommended!

Whilst old, the pavilion theatre has some great character and is a big part of Rhyl's history. I visited to watch the pantomime and it was brilliant, just as I remember from my childhood. Parking is good, access is easy, food and drinks not a massive choice and not exactly cheap but is pretty standard of what you'd expect and I can't complain. Staff are lovely, helpful and there if needed.

Didn't really know what to expect when arriving here to be honest ( size, access, paved ground or grass ) Came to see Tom Jones, my 16 year old niece the biggest fan ( me a lover of all music, styles & genre's etc ) Fair to say, I've left a bigger fan than when I arrived! Absolutely fantastic! ( I've always said ) for 80 years of age, this dude can belt out the tunes, the lungs on him!.. So glad I went to see him. Covid testing was a bit of a nightmare ( rules & regulations changing so often, no one seems to know what's what, ) so can't really blame anyone to be honest. That aside, well organised event, what individual steward staff didn't know, they were quick to find out & come back with answers/ responses. Friendly, chatty, & keen to help & assist, it was probably one of the best staffed event's I've been to. & again, Tom Jones really was the Bomb tonight!...

Great place!!! We were on holiday with our 18 month old daughter and we were looking for things to do. As it was out of season so a lot things shut.
We found SC2 by Googling and we just expected a bit of an average water park. We were wrong! As we walked in the place looked amazing, all jungle type themed and done to a high standard. Very clean (which is hard to find for kids swimming I think)
All floors were non slip which made it very easy for our toddler to walk/run around. Changing rooms were great, they have family cubicles which made it so much easier getting our girl ready and ourselves.
The session was great, it was free roam of the small slides, and the pool where all the water play was. The lifeguards were doing a great job, always keeping an eye and there was a few around which is great.
100% recommend!!!
Staff were friendly

Came here yesterday drove from Manchester to visit sc2. Booked play area and swim. Play area was OK but it was bedlam all tables was full and it was really busy bad set up as play area is near the entrance/exit so didn't want to sit where we couldn't see our child. As for the swim it was closed down ten minutes before our booking as roof was damaged from the strong winds! I know no one can do anything about the weather but the building only few years old and cost 15 million?? Surely it should be able to withstand harsh weather being built on the sea front for that kind of money! Wasted journey definitely won't return will have to change my review to half a star if I don't get refunded!
Tony Henry — Google review
Wasn't sure what to expect from SC2 as the last time I was around this way was years ago when Rhyl sun centre was the pool of choice.
SC2 is really good!
Came here for a kids party and my eldest was in the pool, playing safely and had a blast. Everywhere was really clean, I was able to sit in a cafe type area where I could see everything that was going on whilst connected to the WiFi doing some work with a Costa and some food.
The portion size of the food was quite large and it tasted great. The staff were pleasant and we're always walking around tidying things up and watching what was going on in the pool - felt very safe.
There is an outside splash area which wasn't in use, which made sense due to the weather this time of year but we'll almost certainly come back based on this experience.
It's clear that they've invested in the centre, bit it's really paid off - very well worth a visit.
Couldn't really post pictures of the pool as there were lots of people in it and it didn't feel right but there's loads on Google if you look for them.

Came to the soft play. Easy booking online and quick and easy at reception once arrived. There are 2 zones which are clearly marked so no confusion. Costa outlet for snacks but expensive. Children had great fun and we could watch from a seated balcony. Definitely worth a visit to tire out the children.

I went to the SC2 with my husband, daughter, son and grandsons. We had a lovely time but not really because of the venue. We really couldn't justify the price especially as there were too many minor disappointments like not enough parking, no real swimming area, lockers that didn't work, locker keys that didn't stay on your arm, bits of paper from the arm bands on the floor, a bit too cool. Good points, some great slides, some interesting interactive water features for the very little ones, clean, bright, great staff, good food.

We visit every time we're in North Wales, our 3 year old absolutely loves it here! Always spotless throughout, be that the pool, changing rooms, entrance, or restaurant. Changing rooms and pool area are warm too which is nice! Good sized changing rooms and lockers, and well priced. Cost us under £30 for our son, both parents, and two grandparents. The play area is also great and a combo of swim and play area means our son is out cold come bedtime 😂
Rachel Allen — Google review
Our toddler used the soft play. Some of it is a bit challenging for adults to squeeze in, but it dies mean the children can do most of it themselves. It was off peak so quite quiet - can imagine at full capacity it'd get a bit congested.
Soft play itself has lots of bits, although only one slide. Good value for two hours though, and we'll certainly be visiting again when we're back.
Andrew Abraham — Google review
Kids loved it. £30. For 2 x 20 minute sessions.
If you don't use them both in one day. You can go back and do the second session, for free if you keep your tag safe.
Drinks 2 quid each. Bottle of coke and bottle of water 4 quid. So take your own drinks.

Very good place. Many people may think that this is just your average Welsh Water Park but they're wrong, the SC2 facility's swimming area is themed to be like a jungle and has non slip floors. The Ninja Tag activity also present on site is also suitable for adults and children. The staff are kind and helpful as I've had an injury on 'The Speedster' slides. Cheers SC2!

We only went to the soft play area but the kids loved it, seating area was fine for parents and the whole place and toilets were clean. Staff on front desk were lovely, really engaging, looked after their customers and were accommodating with my son who has autism. Much appreciated and we will definitely be back!

We were on holiday with the grandchildren and weather was wet and windy so tried SC2 as it had a Jungle Adventure soft play area for smaller children upto 7 years old and for older children and any energetic parents the much larger Ninja coarse which was separate from the Jungle Adventure and was interactive where you needed to wear a watch type wristband and the coarse had coloured lights in places you had to climb or jump to activate the wristband which then added points on a scoreboard. The older grandchild loved the challenge of the coarse and the younger child found the Jungle Adventure very exciting. Would recommend and would visit again if in the area.

Not too big waterpark for smaler kids, deepest pool 0.9 meter. Waterpark have 3 "big" slides, one of them with inflatables. One smaller, and some paddle pool type ones. Costa coffee, pizas, burgers. Car park outside 3£ per 4hrs. 2.5hrs waterpark session family of 4 cost 58£. Modern, clean, well looked after. Free lockers inside. Kids loved it so would say 5* for half day fun.

My kids enjoyed themselves. You have afew options here like the play area for the children who don't want to swim and you also have ninja tag aswell which is great fun. Staff are very helpful and friendly. As I don't live in Wales I still travel over 100 miles with my child to come here. We visit atleast 3-4 times a year
Saqib Khan — Google review
The play area for the kids is great but stupidly positioned right next to the main front door with no barriers stopping kids from running straight outside. Luckily we had eyes on our kids the whole time but we seen numerous parents/guardians having to chase their kids outside to bring them back in.
Also, take your own food £31 for 3 of the tiniest most pathetic kids lunchboxes you've ever seen and 2x bottles of drink, and the only kids sandwich option was cheese, which of course, none of our kids wanted haha, typical.
Overall poorly run and priced place, but kids had fun.

Went on a Sunday afternoon in January, and it wasn't too busy. Not badly priced for kids to go in, 1.2M is the minimum height for the Ninja Tag, but there's a smaller play area next to it for younger children. The cafe is a little overpriced £3.75 for a Costa hot chocolate and £1.75 for a small child's slush. The kids enjoyed it and would go again.

Fab waterpark but made better by the absolutely wonderful staff. So helpful and friendly with my children. Especially my son when he hurt himself one member of staff went above and beyond to calm him and make him happy again.

I can't say a lot for the facilities like the pool, slides or play centre as we only used the cafe, so that's what this review is for.
The cafe area was really clean and well maintained, with the staff there making sure it stayed this way too!
The selection was quite good as well-with some decent gluten free options which was great for my coeliac partner, daughter and niece.
The staff themselves were super helpful and made us feel as if nothing was too much trouble!
Even when it grew close to closing time (we came back after having lunch earlier in the day) they didn't make us feel awkward or as if we were in the way!
So, great facilities, great menu but even better staff!
Excellent great staff. Spotless loos.
Always a bonus

Not a bad venue with plenty of space in the main hall and smaller rooms, but the WiFi is atrocious and keeps loging you out after a few minutes.

Attended an event over the weekend (a chess tournament). The hall/theatre upstairs is a really great space. Nice proportions, big windows and high ceilings, stage and gallery with seating, wooden flooring. Bar with light refreshments manned all weekend until late. What made it so good though was how helpful the staff were. The caretaker, Steve, especially; nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!

We held a craft sale in the 2 lower rooms plenty of room as we took over the foyer too. Plenty of tables and chairs we were happy to clean up after but the young man said he'd do it. Hire fee was reasonable too

Our visit was to a private party with quite a few guests. This is the ideal place to hold such an occasion, with plenty of room for the buffet, seating, & room for entertainment. The hall also has a licensed bar which serves hot & cold drinks. A good evening was had by all

It's a small cottage townhall, but very well kept and has all requisite amenities needed; I'll sure rate it a 5 star. Can't fault it . It is old but very well kept and maintained.

Went to an amateur boxing night here, was tremendous and thoroughly enjoyed whole experience. Clwyd ABC are a fantastic organisation and the trainer is so enthusiastic. Well done. Looking forward to the next event.
Nice for a stroll and plenty of seating to look at the views. Little cafe there to. Also bike hire if you fancy a bike ride down the promenade.

We rode our bikes to here from our nearby caravan park. It was quite picturesque with a nice cafe and then we carried on to prestatyn along the promenade. Its a great and flat bike ride!

A nice place to stop for a coffee or walk on the beach . Parking is free , there is also a bike hire shop with easy access to the national cycle path. Plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your drink and soak up the harbour and Rhyl beach.

I was sceptical when my friend wanted to visit and asked to return four times on a five day break. The development enhances the natural beauty of the area. .lovely and interesting at low and high tide. Great facilities. Money well spent.

The most terrible place I have ever visited.Dirty streets, dirty restaurant, weired waitresses who served the food.I visited small restaurant in the opposite Sea Life centre, something like a wacky warehouse, cos we saw vegetarian menu, but the broccoli pasta was strange. THE portion was very tiny, looked like for a baby.So we had to go out and buy more food for my brother &dad.(they are not fat but athletic type of people).I doubt very much I will ever visit Rhyl again.

I rang the telephone number I found on the web throughout the day on Sunday (some 15 times) and got no message that might have told me if I was dialling the right number or giving me the hours of the TIC or if it has ceased to operate as sadly seems the case at so many places in Wales. Such a pity that funding for such a service is often now unavailable. We do not all have access to the web or Smartphones (or even Smartphones that have charge) and therefore taking the service away is to my mind a new form of social exclusion.

Friendly well informed staff, good selection of guides and info, accessible

Closed! Unfortunately the children's village in Rhyl was a huge waste of money when it was built and now needs bulldozing and something meaningful and family orientated putting in its place! The rates were always to high for business owners!

Full of information on town etc etc and ideal gifts for all, staff very knowledgeable and polite new what they were talking about.
Jean Hunter — Google review
Surrounding the tourist info centre is the most dismal sea front I have ever seen. I was there for the opening years ago and since then the space has not been utilised at all. Rhyl is in need of some serious investment.
Hats off to Noah and his team for going above and beyond in making sure a young boy with physical disabilities was allowed on the rides with assistance from his team. The young boy enjoyed his experience it made his day all we can say is a big thank you from us keep up the good work

Nostalgic for me when I was a young kid in like 2013 nessi was my first ever coaster and I loved it and I love it I like the speedy coaster too and them ladybirds ride is so nostalgic for me
Jack dr 20 — Google review
My 7 year old son was not strapped in on nessi rollercoaster!! The operator did not check. My son screamed before the ride started he was not strapped in, the ride operator still pressed button to go, once myself and parent screamed to the operator he was not strapped in he said ye is! Which my son was still screaming his not strapped in!! Once the ride stopped after going round once with my son not strapped in! I got him off , no apology, the owner was so unprofessional using the words “ this hasn’t happened before”. It doesn’t matter it’s happened now! My son was in fear he was going to fall out! This will be taking alot further! As the owner was only bothered about loosing out on money, he did not let us fill in no accident form! I had to get north wales police to come and they made sure accident form was filled in, this will be getting taken further!

The operator of Nessi (been there 19 years) deserves a pay rise. He was absolutely fabulous. Putting my youngest at ease on her first coaster ride alone. He was funny, polite and provided clear safety instructions for all to understand.
Unfortunately Arron, is another matter on the speedy coaster. He was abrupt, rude disrespectful and lied openly. The manner in which he spoke to my children originally was aggressive in tone and as I've said RUDE!
I asked at the kiosk for a complaints procedure which they didn't have, I was asked to describe him, which is difficult (short spiky brown hair, sunglasses) so I went and asked for his name. That's when he became defensive and argumentative with me. I returned to the kiosk and informed them off his name (after a quick phone call) i was referred to the owner, in another kiosk. I explained the situation and she was extremely apologetic. Provided a complimentary token to revisit the Nessi, so it didn't dampen the day.
The sizzler (my children call it the dice) thrilled the children, and I think they could have gone between here and the Nessi all day.
There are a lot of different rides which cater for different age ranges, lots of rides for the younger children. The fair is well laid out, with a cafe, shop and parking.
We visit Rhyl frequently and this is the first time, we've had an issue (new staff it seems)
Staff are normally pleasant, and wait times are short. .

My daughter loved this place, there was even rides/games for the big kids, fun family day out! Prices wasn't extortionate like I thought they would be, although you do need a bit of money to be able to enjoy the day.
Sophie Kay — Google review
The rides were suitable for my toddler and the ride attendants were very helpful and friendly, less could be said about the owner! Very patronising rude and arrogant, if my daughter had not been excited we would have left, we bought a few tickets and stayed about 45 mins!
Gaynor daniels — Google review
Very pricey for old run down rides, most of the operators are young kids and couldn't be bothered, i would hate for them to have to deal with an emergency especially as they don't stay in the control rooms/areas when rides are running so wouldn't stand a chance of causing an emergency stop should it be required. Some rides were being wiped down with a single antibacterial wipe between rides and social distancing was trying to be enforced albeit unsuccessfully.
R “djdrbz” M — Google review
The rides are very expensive and short lived. They are run down and very tired looking - as are the staff.
To be fair, some of the staff did try to crack a smile, but it was soon plainly obvious the source of their anguish …
The man walking around, who must have been the boss, seemed to be looking for confrontation everywhere he went - he was barking orders at staff and we heard at least two occasions of him shouting at visitors.
We had our 2 little ones with us and left without even spending our tokens as the atmosphere was depressing and frankly a little scary.
My advice would be to avoid unless absolutely necessary
An outstanding parish! The parishioners are so welcoming and seem genuinely pleased to see and meet you! Fr Anthony is simply the most amazing parish priest and the parish are blessed to have him. A truly wonderfully blessed church.

My favourite place in Rhyl for various reasons. Father Charles being most generous, kind, funny, open-minded and open-hearted priest I have met in years. Very supportive of any initiatives helping others. Great venue for events available too.

Attended a very sad funeral here but what a genuinely lovely priest Father Charles is. Spoke very naturally to the family in a sincere way and offered hope in such a dark time.

Father Charles ( AKA Farther Charlie) old school Glaswegion priest. Heart of gold and a cool friend for anyone who needs one. If he was a cheff he would be Michelin started up 👍👍🙏. He actually got beaten up a couple of months ago just trying to help out a couple of smackheads cat's!. That's why he's da man ( of God ) lol x😀

Why haven’t I been there before, I’ve known it’s been there for years but thought it wouldn’t be good. I’m a established mountain biker and stopped going on my bike 8 years ago to enjoy my time with my son. Ive started going out on the bikes with my son and wanted to take him to llandegla but thought I would try my local track, it is a great track, no long uphills just fun, I’m particularly impressed how the site not only sits within its environment, but improves the sites ecology by enhancing the wetlands/marshland. Standing on the site the view was also great overlooking the river Clwyd and it’s wetlands, yes there’s a scrap yard on the other side but that makes you realise it’s a track on the outskirts of a town, it’s top marked for the track and all involved from planning to to running the site. We will be regular visitors.

Fun track, good flow but nearly un-usable because of the back end being overgrown with nettles. Hopefully it gets sorted soon.
Edit: The nettles and bushes are no longer covering the track, changed the rating to 5 stars.
Free, easy to find and welcomes all skill levels.

It's very interesting to see how fly tipped refuse blends in with the beautiful gorse and landscape. Bra's, soiled nappies, flat screen TV, melted laptops, melted battery packs et cetera. Other than that if one can see through all of that you will discover that Rhyl has a little gem on its hands, one of many I must add!
