Granadella beach is a picturesque cove that boasts a small, pebbly shore. Surrounded by pine trees and featured as the backdrop for The Cold Light of Day movie, this sheltered beach offers a tranquil escape from the world. Though it has limited parking close to the shore, visitors can enjoy pleasant views along the coast climbing road from a moderately distant car park.

Picturesque, very small sheltered pebble beach with cafe. Parking is very limited close to the beach but available a moderate walk away, uphill.
Pleasant views on departure if you take the coast climbing road from the car park.
Worth a visit but beach shoes are a must and be prepared for a walk from the car park

Stunning bay. One of the best! A couple of trendy and relaxed bars with toilets. Water is gin clear and good for snorkeling. We went on a Monday, arriving around 9.15am and about the 4th family there so loads of parking at that time. By 10.30 it was very busy. You'd still get parking at that time but be prepared to walk down hill a long way and inevback up. I'd imagine you'd have to be earlier at the weekend. If you're looking for a place to visit during a holiday, this bay is an absolute must.

Just beautiful. Pebbles are lively small powdered grey. The sea was electric blue. Take something to sit on, and relax. Winding roads, small car park. But when we left everyone had parked along the road. Driving back up, great views, now more appreciated. No shops or restaurants open. We visited 26.12.23. the sun was shining, we were in t shirts and shorts.

Set in the amazing arms of Montgó which dominates the town of Xabia/Jávea (l’Arenal is one of the beaches in Xabia/Jávea), l’Arenal beach is full of life and activity. No surprise that the Parador chain of luxury hotels is based here! You can walk from the equally beautiful Jávea port along a sometimes wild, but picturesque sea scene, sometimes having to stop off at the odd chiringuito, for a good 2kms to get there. When you do you’ll pass in front of the Parador and then you can access the beach. Ample parking in streets laden with shops that run parallel to the beach. The “paseo marítimo” or esplanade is full of exciting bars and restaurants! Great touristy atmosphere. Aquacentre was fun too! We ate at the exquisite Palamito Beach Bar!

Cape San Antonio in Spain is a marine reserve that provides opportunities for hiking, diving and various water sports. The park offers breathtaking views of Ibiza and can be accessed via the picturesque mountain road that runs through Montgo National Park. Visitors should take a left turn before reaching Javea towards the renowned night club, l'Hacienda, which has been around for over forty years.
Beautiful Nature Reserve with the most stunning views over Javea and the Costa Blanca. If you have not visited, you must try and go.

Went here in March 2023 so it was the off season. Eventually found it but refreshments were closed so had a good walk around instead. Plenty of parking on road, great views out to sea and we were lucky to see a pod of porpoise cruising past the point. All very picturesque and I expect in a few weeks later the restaurants would be open. Well worth a visit even just for the view.

From Dénia, take the beautiful mountain road that crosses the Montgo national park but take a hard left before reaching Jávea towards the night club called l'Hacienda, BTW a place that's has been around for forty + years and where I first saw an external air conditioner in 1976. Continue on this road without paying attention to the signs that say " road cloased in 200 m" and make your way to the lighthouse. The scenery is breathtaking. Picnics need you to take great care of the site and are memorable. Enjoy

Stunning beach, good snorkeling, there wasn't much of a current and it was easy enough to swim without fins.
Slightly limited by the busy boating lane which prevents you being able to swim to the island.
But plenty to see within the limits of the bathing area, with various types of fish.

Fantastic coastal zone, great for snorkeling. Not a sandy beach, though (if that's what you're looking for): it's all filled with quite large cobbles.

One of the most beautiful spots near Javea. The water is crystalline and full of species (I even found two starfish). Unfortunately, the restaurant of Cala Clemente treat it as their backyard, playing loud music to the point of spoiling the cool atmosphere. Better to come early in the morning or to stay in the souther part of the beach (i.e. turning right as you arrive).
Cala Ambolo is a clothing-optional beach located away from the urban area, along the Costa Blanca. The shoreline stretches for 300 metres and has a combination of pebbles and shingle. This secluded beach offers calm, crystal-clear waters that are perfect for snorkeling and swimming. Visitors who want to avoid tan lines can enjoy the scenic beauty of this amazing place while basking in the sun's warmth.
You need to drive through a restricted road to get to this beach because it is closed to the public.
You will see warning signs, but we ignored them and just drove as far as we could downhill towards the beach.
There were several places to park on the road down when we came here. You will need to hike down to the beach and walk accross a bunch of rocks. The walk uphill back to the car may be challenging for some people.
But this beach is very beautiful and secluded and definitely worth a visit. There were also some naked people here.

Turquoise water with beautiful surroundings. It’s a bit of walk down the beach (around 20 min), because the cars need to be parked high up, but once there it’s quite worth it. There is a rock nearby where you can swim to it and jump off. The beach is pebbled and narrow. There is no facilities, which adds to the experience. Although beautiful turquoise, the water is not crystal clear. You can’t really see anything in the water near the shore. The view however tops everything.

Creu del Portixol is a stunning spot with a sandstone cross overlooking the Mediterranean and Portitxol Island. It serves as the starting point for various picturesque walks, including those to Cap Prim and Cala Barraca, offering breathtaking views of the turquoise sea against white rocks. The area features limited roadside parking but is surrounded by native Mediterranean vegetation, making it worth the effort to explore on foot.

Clifftop lookout spot with panoramic views of the sea & offshore islands, accessed by a short walk.
For such a beautiful viewpoint it was amazingly quiet. I just parked in the road at the start of the footpath. There's not much here. 200m path and a fabulous view. You can walk along the side of the cliff on a fairly rough path for maybe 500m, but it doesn't get any better than the view from the point. It's a bit of a windey route up and then there's a run of other viewpoints to see. You need your own wheels.

Amazing views from here! A bit hard to get to but well worth it. We came from Alicante. There are no public buses that could take you here, you definitely need a car and some serious hiking skills for all this area. The roads are steep and it’s very much up and down all along the coast. When you arrive, you basically park right in front of this view, there isn’t too much to explore except for a 10 min walk to stretch the legs. Really beautiful scenery with all the uninhabited islands. It was one of our favourite spots for pictures on the route of Miradors de Xabia. There is also an info point if you want to visit all the locations on this route. Picture with the map with all the viewpoints attached. Costa Blanca is beautiful!!

As a local historian, many people do not realise that Javea in Medieval times was full of wheat hence the need for windmills to grind the grain. However in Medieval time, there was only one mill to service the very small population, but at the town grew, more mills were added. I do a historical tour of Javea and people are always surprised by that fact!

This was by far our favourite place to explore in Costa Blanca. The view from the high cliffs and the intense turquoise blue water are just breathtaking, you have to experience it to feel the real beauty of this place. The entrance is via Creu del Portitxol and it’s about half an hour hike to get to Cap de San Marti but you need about 2-3h to see it all and properly enjoy it. You will need good hiking shoes as it can be slippery but it’s not a difficult hike. Take some snacks and plenty of water with you, you will need it. Once you are there you will not want to return too quickly. The whole area is just wow. There is also a beautiful beach nearby (Cala Sardinera) where you can go for a swim in the crystal clear water. The hills are full of pine, rosemary and thyme bushes and the air is charged up with an incredible smell. PS: If you go earlier in the day, you will be able to witness the beautiful turquoise water colour. Parking is easy and free.

Great mirador, one of the best in the area. But don't forget to use hiking shoes and keep in mind that the path is quite slippery for few days after the rain. Keep an eye for your kids/pets - it's an astonishingly beautiful place, but really dangerous - you can easily fall of a cliff at some spots.

Fran White — Google review
It's free but please look then a donation would be good. Go to the very top, there is a staircase and a small door to go outside. The views of the town and the Montgo is pretty good.

Make sure to see the terrace on the top floor the views from it are spectacular. The museum is really interesting and well laid out. There is an audio guide in English

Small museum, free entry ,interesting way to kill 40 mins while the wife was at the market...close to the Irish pub

An interesting collection of locally found objects, and a lot about the history of the caves on Montgo, but sadly with very few exceptions only labelled in Spanish and Valenciana, as Javea has a large number of British residents and many visitors too, this seems a pity. Admission is free.
There are fantastic views of Montgo, and the town from the top terrace.

I love this museum. It is well thought out with different epochs in their places and lots of artifacts that give you a vision into the past of this popular spot. As a Fine Arts Historian, I am in this museum at least once a week talking with my students about the history and culture of Javea. I conduct a walking lecture around Javea and we visit the museum to look at references that back up or give a back story to what I talk about on the walk.

Lovely small but interesting museum.
Well displayed and situated inside a beautiful building.
Banys de la Reina Xàbia is a beautiful spot offering magnificent views of Javea. It's a relaxing place where you can enjoy the sound of the sea and seagulls. The area is known for its Nispero fruit orchards, protected by giant nets from frost and hail. Visitors can also find plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area, making it great for walking and photography.
(Translated by Google) In my opinion it is beautiful, before they were fish farms and baths, which have been in ruin. It is nice to take a quiet walk and enjoy the sea. It also has very nice views.

A mi parecer es precioso, antes eran piscifactorias y baños, que han quedado en la ruina. Es bonito para dar un paseo tranquilo y disfrutar de la mar. También tiene vistas muy bonitas.

Supersweet FREE parking space right at the sea. With nothing to block the view 😎
Sleeping in the car is also no problem.
Safe and peaceful at the same time.

(Translated by Google) We went to see it at six in the afternoon, there are quite a few people sunbathing or fishing. Children snorkeling but it is not a place I would choose to go to spend the day. Walking among the rocks if you are not wearing good footwear is complicated, and in some areas the rocks are very sharp so you can cut yourself and you cannot get out quickly in case of emergency. To take a walk and see it out of curiosity is fine, but no more. Others may say the opposite, but the truth is that I don't see the comfort (except that there is no sand). If you make it to the end, you will have to turn back the way you came since it is a dead end.

There is practically nothing left of the bathrooms, not even the shell that was there, so I have searched through my old photos to see how beautiful it was. Still, I recommend your visit. The photos are from August 2019.

(Translated by Google) La Grava beach is quite good in the sense that it is a beautiful beach in the same town. With plenty of places to eat and snack. Clean water. That is special for fakirs since with its stones it is difficult to lie down and walk and when you get up from sitting you are sore. But it's cool, there is also part of the land ideal for children. Advisable to spend a morning or afternoon.

Beautiful for snorkling and sealife. Wear beach shoes, rocky and dangerous in parts underfoot but ladders into sea. Beautiful.

It is not very exciting to look at, consisting as it does of a few trenches cut in the rock. However in Román times it was used to send sea water over the bank and into the Salt pans of Saladar where salt for human consumption was extracted. The engine power was a mule driving a form of turbine which lifted the water.
