The Katedrala sv. Jakov is a monumental Gothic-Renaissance cathedral located on the Dalmatian coast and designed by Juraj Dalmatinac. It boasts over 70 sculpted heads on its facade and is recognized as a World Heritage Site. The cathedral was constructed entirely of stone from various islands in the region, making it the world's largest church built solely of stone without brick or wooden supports.
Beautiful cathedral with wonderful stonework, details and presence. Šibenik is a beautiful city and it’s old town is full of historic sites. You can get lost in the old streets and find historic sites on each corner. Best time to visit is spring or early hours during the weekdays when it’s not so hot and crowded with tourists.

Wonderfull historical place , very nice. If go inside and pay 30kuna entry fee , you visit for free a museum nearby . This museum is also very nice. Parking is quite complicate during holiday seasson. You have 2 possible places : 1. Stay nearby catedral on coast , but you should be here so early morning or 2.option Stay in underground parking house near library (500m away aprox.) . But way up back to street is quite funny .

Absolutely mesmerising building! It is the most important architectural monument of the Renaissance in the entire country. Since 2000, the cathedral has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Definitely MUST SEE in the City! Near by you can find plenty of nice restaurants and cafeterias. Try to imagine drinking your coffee with this incredible view!

From the outside the cathedral is a beautiful and iconic sight of Sibenik. At the time of this review the top of the chatedral is being renovated so the inside is a bit of a let down. Other wise it's a beautiful piece of architecture.
Great to photograph as well :D

The city of Šibenik or as pop culture calls it Braavos. Šibenik, a neighbour city right beside Split, is also a city of music and is well known for its long tradition of Klapa (like acapella) choir which UNESCO has placed on the list of cultural heritage. The city houses 3 fortress and is where the town of Šibenik came into existence. The city was also used by the TV series, Game of Thrones, to depict the city Braavos. To recap, Braavos is the wealthiest and most powerful of the Free Cities in GoT, and is located on the northwestern end of Essos where the Faceless Men (whom Arya Stark understudied), Iron Bank (yes if you need money to build an army you come here, although Iron Bank depicted in the show is really just St. James Cathedral) and Moonsingers (priestess) are found. The wealthy city streets are also depicted in the TV series so its quite a fan moment for me to walk in GoT.

Most beautiful cathedral on this side of Adriatic. You just need to take a quick look and will be amazed. It is build completely of stone which was real challenge indeed. It was not easy for small towns to build such cathedrals and it was under constructions for almost one hundred years but result is fascinating. If looking from modern perspective some of the funds should have been diverted for hospital, school and libraries but then it was very important to have big cathedral, at least bigger then your neighbors!

Interesting and beautiful interior with usefull prospect. And it's nice price, 5€ , which includes also entering in multimedia museum Civitas Sacra, which is 2min walk from St.Jacob

We climbed to top of the 56m bell tower and you get a brilliant 360 view of Zadar old town. 15kn per person. Very good value
If you climb around the top of the hour you'll also get a great treat of hearing and feeling the bells close up and seeing the workings of the machinery.
Lots of spiral staircases, watch you don't bang your head at a couple of places. Patience required as other visitors coming up and down but there are are a few places to wait.

You understand immediately why this was used as a location for Game of Thrones. This building and it's surrounding area is amazing. The church is equally impressive inside where you don't wanna miss the beautiful crypt. Fairly wheel chair accessible once you are clear of the big Staircase leading up to the church from the street. I would say that with 1-1.5h you've seen what there is to see. Just around the corner of the church you find the city museum that definitely is worth a look to get a feel of the city.

Sibenik is a Lovely little city. You can walk around the aicators and find some beauty in every corner. :) Like this Saint Jakov Cathedral. There is an entrance fee, but It's worth to mention that this cathedral was in Game of Thrones series. If you are a fan, you should go there. 🤩
St. Michael's Fortress is a restored medieval fort located in the city center, offering exhibits, guided tours and an open-air summer stage. The fortress provides a good view of the water, buildings and city, and includes an indoor walk area. Admission fee grants entry to both St. Michael's and Barone fortress; however, no nearby car park is available requiring visitors to walk or climb steps from alternative parking locations. Good weather is essential for optimal views.
+ Good view of the water, buildings, city. Nice fortress.
+ Indoor walk area also there
+ Entrance fee incluses 2 fortress. Pay for St. Michael's and get Barone fortress entry free. But we didn't go to the other.
+ Good sunny weather is essentially required for the view
+ Credit card was accepted for entrance ticket
- No car park near by. Need to walk or climb steps from car park.

You must visit
Cheap entry and friendly staff.
That's a few coffee shops but everything will open from may.
But the view is amazing
It's a bit walking around but worth it.
Also buy the 3 castle ticket is very cheap and you have 7 days to visit all 3 in your own time or in one day if you can do it.

I love St. Michael Fortress because is only walking distance to our apartment that we rented. And the view there is so gorgeous you will see the city and sea. There are so much thing to see and this place is a must to see. There is a way going to the city center.

Amazing fortress at the top of the city, with fantastic views across the city and out over the Adriatic. Modernised tastefully, with an amazing amphitheatre - would love to come back on an event evening. There is an entrance fee of 60Kn per person, but it's worth it just for the incredible views.

Great place, I recommend to buy the tickets for all the fortresses because it's cheap and it's even cheaper if you're a student AND even cheaper if you have Mastercard or VISA. I visited all the three fortresses paying less than 8€. Also check the event in this fortress because there are concerts inside the castle that can be very interesting: we discovered too late that in a couple of days there would be a Bonobo (IDM artist) concert in there. Unlucky.

Very Well documented audio tour.
Built by the locals ('pirate') population initially, sieged by the Venetians who used it to secure their trade routes & also the city, as the perception of its inhabitants never changed through the eyes of the Venetians.
The location lost military importance in the 20th century and therefor was neglected. The recent restaurantions added the function of theatre which creates this amazing venu for concerts & culture while preserving an good historic visit centre

Nice old restored fortress, views are amazing. There is not much to see or do inside though and it's quite expensive. 10€ entrance fee is not worth it, 11 or 12 € for all 3 Sibenik's fortresses is much better.

Dalmatian Ethno Village, located within Amadria Park Resort, offers a wide range of facilities including a wellness center, water park, shops, bars, and restaurants. The village features a reconstruction of an old Croatian village where visitors can enjoy traditional food at the buffet. Additionally, there is a small vineyard that produces Amadria Park wine.
We visited this restaurant in the evening and it was a beautiful experience - with the lights that emphasized the whole atmosphere - very friendly service and the croatian local wine tasted very well and underlined the magnificent stay

Stunning typical "village" from the dalmatian coast. It is really well made and shows how it was in the past. Only things we didn't know was that it is a complete restaurant located next to a beach/pool ressort. Still worth to visit.

It's an amazing place, built with a great sence of beauty and elegance. The only thing that I personally missed, was a little Croatian music, may be a litle bit local group round dances, where the guess also could learn more about the culture of this beautiful country...
The staff is polite, professional and responsive!
The food is top!
What I didn't like, but it's currently so almost everywhere in the area, is the Menü, which you could see only if you scan a QR-code. I would prefer the old-fashion paper menus, where all the dishes could also be seen.
Finally... If you are some where near the Amadria complex, the Dalmatien Ethno Village is a must-to-be-visited place!!! ❤️❤️❤️

The food was great without any dispute same with the service, it was also superb. I have only one claim, we have expected to discover more about the history and habits of the dalmatian people and their history, but this place is in fact only a restaurant. There were no information in the places which are available to the customers of the restaurant. I have expected to have some guided tour with explanations or at least written information in the stands. I have also expcected to have some kind of market where one can buy local products. I suggest the business to consider such guided tour and information plates for the stands. Like for example how the press was used to produce olive oil, how they made the bread etc. that would be really interesting for the customer and would complete the experience....

The food, the wine, the service, all fantastic. Whilst it's expensive, it seems relatively good value compared to other restaurants on the resort. However €17 for a child's meal is a little excessive, given the same meals are in all restaurants at cheaper prices. The Rural Plate was great value, and we struggled to finish even sharing it. We loved exploring the 'village'. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I'd recommend it if budget isn't a concern.

At first, this may seem tempting since it is the only restaurant in walking distance of the hotels. Save your money. It is a fake, overpriced "Konoba" owned by the hotel with bland food and set up to look authentic. Take the money you would waste here and visit a real Konoba instead.

It’s hard to put into words the hospitality that was shown to our group at the visit to this fantastic winery. Andro was the most gracious host and so informative and helpful from the moment we arrived. The wines were spectacular, spanning the gamut of white to rose to Orange to reds and for good measure they also have Olive oil they produce as well. To start the food is all from local producers and also the farm itself. They are happy to share the connection with all of the other farms and their relation to the food you try which is the perfect compliment for the tasting. We appreciated the humble and yet incredible attentiveness of our host. We left with a car load of wine because it was excellent and that is the bottom line. They only produce about 25k bottles per year and that has always been the case. I cannot say enough positive things about this place except you will likely have some of the best wine in Dalmatia and also the best hospitality from some outstanding wine makers in the region.

We discovered this place online for a wine tasting, not knowing what to expect. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! We did not have the wine tasting, but when trying a wine to purchase, we were welcomed with a cheese plate and olives, besides the wine glasses! 5 starts in hospitality! The best point of our trip to Croatia!
We tasted some delicious local wines with lots of information on how they are made. In addition, we ate delicious food served with wine - cheeses, olives, cold cuts and fresh bread.
And all this with friendly service, no pomposity, accessible to everyone. You don't need to know anything about wines to enjoy this place :)
On a special request, we got tips on how to visit the vineyard where the grapes for the wines are harvested… And we got engaged there! I hope Rak Winery doesn't mind ;)
Thank you very much!

This is one of the best winery experiences I have ever had.
The atmosphere is friendly and casual. The wines are excellent and affordable, and served with information on the grapes and how the wine was made. This is important in Croatia, as the winemakers seem to change their techniques to get the best out of each batch of grapes.
We had our tasting with a very generous cheese and wine plate. Everything was local, including prosciutto they make themselves. One of the staff brought an extra: a plate of sliced tomato from his family garden, with olive oil.

Located in the village of Dubrava, just a short drive from Sibenik, Sokolarski Centar is not only a visitor attraction but also an educational center and rescue facility for injured birds of prey. Founded by Emilio Mendjus c, the center embraces the ancient tradition of falconry. Visitors can enjoy an interactive educational talk about birds of prey and even have the opportunity to feed and pet owls while watching falcons perch on their arms.
Very nice place to learn new things about owls, eagles and falcons. We'll definitely come back next time. Make sure you visit this place only on Friday or weekends otherwise it' s reserved for school groups. At least that was the schedule in April.

In the hinterland of Šibenik, in Dubrava, there is an interesting destination, the Sokolarski centar. One of the most amazing places I've been in years. Place is situated in nice forest, sight is beautiful, birds are even better and staff is really nice. I highly recommend you to visit this site. Center also offers a short "story" about owls which is indeed interesting and educational so don't forget to stay for that as well. Entrance is 50 KN but it's somewhat optional since you pay after the visit (aka if you are unhappy with service you can just leave at any time, that ticket is more of a donation).

An amazing centre that vas very nicely decorated. We visited mid October and had an opportunity to investigate around the premises for ourselves for a little bit, then we had a presentation of the birds. The presenter is really fun, nice and humoristic - of course, he knows a lot as well. We learned pretty cool fun facts and loved the experience all together! The only remark we had - the person we talked on the phone was a bit rude. Still, we forgot all about it soon as we came!

City Hall Sibenik, a striking Renaissance building located in the heart of the city, was constructed between 1533 and 1546. Its facade features columns, arches, a balustrade, and a balcony. The ground floor houses a local restaurant with an outside terrace offering stunning views of the Cathedral of St. James. This High Renaissance architectural gem is adorned with large lion heads on its facade and used to host city council sessions in its beautiful upstairs hall.

TheDailyPackers - Alex & Tina — Google review
The City Hall is located directly opposite the entrance to St. James Cathedral. The problem is that it looks more like a restaurant than a historical monument. Nevertheless, it is considered one of the most beautiful town halls in Croatia. It is decorated with 10 pillars topped by a cornice decorated with stone lions and floral ornaments. There is also a typical Renaissance porch. Stairs are adjoined on both sides. The City Hall was somewhat damaged during the Second World War, but it has been restored to its original form.

Šibenik is a historic city in Dalmatia where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea. It is educational, industrial and tourist center and the third largest city in Dalmatia. In the city of Šibenik there are four fortresses, each of which has views of the city, sea and nearby islands. The fortresses are now tourist sightseeing destinations. St. Nicholas Fortress is located on the island at the entrance of Šibenik Channel. It is included in UNESCO 's World Heritage Site list. St. Michael's Fortress is in historic town centre. There ara and St. John Fortress and Barone Fortress.
The Kornati archipelago, west of Šibenik, consists of 150 islands making it the densest archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea.
City hall is running along one side of the square opposite the Cathedral, this 16th-century. The beautifully proportioned colonnaded loggia now houses the restaurant, and also forms the backdrop to many of the events comprising the annual Šibenik Children’s Festival.

St. Nicholas' Fortress is a remote stronghold built in the 16th century that can only be accessed by boat or foot. While the interior may lack complexity, visitors can take guided tours for an informative historical experience. Alternatively, information about the fortress's history is available online. The tour price covers both the guide and boat ride to reach the fortress. Additionally, visitors can enjoy augmented reality elements during their visit.

A fantastic experience! The price of 21 euros per person seems a bit much at first sight, but it is more than worth it. For this money you get a nice boat trip of +/- 30 minutes to the fort with a beautiful view of the city on the way, the visit to the fort and an audio guide. The audio guide is very clear and certainly not too long-winded. AR is used and even a game on the tablet makes the visit even more interactive and fun. I recommend this visit to everyone, for me this is something not to be missed when you visit Šibenik.

Worth going, but it was under construction when we was there so we couldn’t go everywhere. And for the experience it was to expensive. Just take one of the hourly beach boats to Jadrija,it drives just past and a view as good!

Nice historic fortress. Awesome clean water around, nice swimming. Walk to this place starts on the wooden path just above the water. Once you get to the middle island, there are hidden underground bunkers with trenches and abandoned building.

Excellent tour and boat ride to the fortress for a very low price. The boat trip was really lovely and the guides were great. In the fortress you have some AR tour elements which was really cool. Definitely worth a visit if you have a couple of hours free.

This is a really cool fortress and well worth a look around but it’s very simple inside. Can be accessed by foot or by boat. If you do pay for a tour here remember you are paying for the guide and the boat as it’s a load of empty rooms and the history of the place can be found online.
Apart from all of that I enjoyed my visit to the fort and would recommend.

Walked to this place from the mainland over a small bridge and a causeway. It is not possible to enter the fortress when walking in, as the entrance is up a scaffolding ladder, and when we were there, workers were present. The only way to visit inside is via a boat trip, which we checked out, but the website information was that the boats only ran from 15 June. We were therefore a little surprised to see that they started running before that date, but only after we had taken the trouble to visit on foot. You do get a sense of the scale of the place from walking up to it, however. Try the boat trip, unless you’re happy risking the ladder (or the workers), or simply do as we did and take a walk up to it.

Nice 2h tour by boat (half hour each way and one hour in the fort), very friendly and nice guides. You can walk around the fort yourself with audio guide, it's not very big so an hour is more than enough.
Miss ‽ — Google review
The place looks very beautiful. The beach is very nice and clean. There's even a hidden bunker on an island. The drawback is that you can't freely access the fortress. Ther is a passage, but there's a big sign saying it's forbidden and "accesible" only by boat. Should consider it if you want to do some sightseeing.
Still, a great place to spend some time.

Well worth a visit. Boat tour through channel is beautiful, free audio guide for your language and brilliant views. The price was around £14.50 for 2 hours all included. Would definitely reccomend if you are in the area
The St. Anthony's Canal Hiking Trail is a well-constructed coastal path perfect for family hikes that offers breathtaking views of Šibenik and access to several swimming beaches. The pathway is easy to navigate with picnic spots available along the way, making it an enjoyable journey for all ages. For those seeking a more challenging hike, there is a steep climb up the hill where you can see splendid views of the canal.
Nice view from the top to Sibenik city. Some interesting attractions along the path. There are places to swim and snorkeling.

Really worth the visit.
Firstly you take a hike to the canal. The path is well prepared and quite easy to walk with kids.
From the canal you can take steeper hike to the top of the hill where the view of canal is splendid.

Excellent hiking easy to moderate walk through beutiful nature. We enjoyed this walk with our friends. Do not miss it if in Sibenik or if you have some times whilst traveling through.

Great walkway along channel from sea fortress of St Nicholas to Mandalina in Sibenik. There are several places with amazing view on Sibenik and islands. And you can explore abandoned military installations with tunnel for protection of smaller warships.
Tonko Lacmanovic — Google review
Awesome view from the top of the hill. Pretty steep path near the top, but definitely worth it. With good weather you can see some distant islands. Sibenik is close and nicely visible. There is an old u-boat submarine pen right under this hill. Bulit by the germans during the World War Two. Easy access by foot. You can walk or even swim through the whole pen. But it gets very dark in the middle, so be carefull.
Barone Fortress is a 17th-century fortification that has been renovated and restored to its former glory. Located near Sibenik, it offers panoramic vistas of both the seaside and city. The fortress features an interactive augmented reality tour that creatively presents its history to visitors. In addition, there is a comfortable cafe inside the fortress that serves local brewery drinks. Free parking is provided for visitors, although drivers should be cautious as the road leading up to the fortress is narrow and steep in some places.
One of Sibenik‘s four bastions, beautifully restored and with an amazing view over the bay and city. Also our kids loved the interactive AR guide a lot!

A beautiful view of the entire Šibenik. My rating will be high because we came at a time when there were no tourists at all; we had the entire fortress to ourselves. Stunning view, tranquility, silence, and a bar with good beer. I highly recommend it.

It is very nice view to the islands, marina, bay and whole town. However also nice view you can see from another fortress (st. Michaels fortress). At this place only nice view and nothing interesting more.

Very nice stronghold. The story of Sibenik is linked to this fortress. From this fortress is possible to view the whole Sebenik and the bay. It is possible to view a very amazing sunset. The ticket for this fortress is 10 €. But I suggest to buy the bundle of 11€ which allows one to visit the other two Sebenik fortresses.

The fortress is very nicely refurbished and has fantastic views. It is a bit hard to get up there as the path is quite steep. The audio guide is quite good as well, it offers some interesting insights into the history of the fortress. Going in the morning is highly recommended as it gets very hot later in the day.

Great place to visit if you are near Šibenik. Very nice and friendly staff, comfortable cafe just inside the place with local brewery. Don't forget to take an interactive augmented reality tour and listen to the history of the place, it's quite creative.
The view from the place is amazing. You can see both the seaside and the city.
Parking for the visitors is free and right near the fortress walls, but be careful driving uphill - the road is a bit stiff and narrow, some cars might be moving in the opposite direction at the same time

It's rather small, you can walk around only for couple of minutes 10 max. There is free parking lot for visitors. I would overthing buying tickets here because I'm not sure if it's worth it. I would go to the biggest one.

An impressive fortress particularly with the short time it was built. Great views over the town and surrounding islands.
The ticket gave you access to those fort and the adjoining St John's Fort. You can also get a combo ticket for St Michael's Castle too.
We discovered there were some parking spaces right next to the fortress, reserved for visitors to the fort. This wasn't clear when looking at the website.

Really nice concerts for very cheap. The view is amazing, the drinks reasonably priced, the staff really nice and speaks English and the toilets are spotless. What else could you need?
A piece of advice, though: take a cab to get there if you don't want to be a sweaty mess by the time you get there, even if google says 13 minutes from town centre. It's a good climb.

It was absolutely beautiful, the view is breathtaking. If you are visiting with family I recommend a family ticket for 3 fortresses so you can visit st. Michael's and st. Ivan's fortress too.

Great place to visit (get an audio/video/tablet guide) but even more enjoyable for an event. From time to time here are film screenings and small concerts. Depend on the time of the year it might be chilly in the evening. There is also a bar.
Aquapark Dalmatia is a lively water park located within the Solaris Beach Resort. It boasts an array of exciting waterslides, spraying features and shallow pools for children to enjoy. The aquatic playground is filled with a variety of colorful attractions that create an exciting atmosphere for all visitors. Aquapark Dalmatia provides a fun-filled experience for families looking to cool off and have some aquatic entertainment during their stay at Solaris Beach Resort.
Top fun...one of the best places in Dalmatia...for adults and for children..
Ivica Muth — Google review
Central part with waterslides is lot's of fun. But it was crowded and you had to wait up to 5 minutes for a ride, what is not fun when slightly cold water is constantly splashing all around you.
What is missing is actual pool for swimming, there are no showers with warm water and no changing rooms, and also water in jacuzzi was in best case warm, not hot.
For meal there are only fast food options available.
Parking is also not for free, there is just one machine to pay for parking, so we had to wait about 20 minutes just to pay for parking.
At the end it is offered too little for too much.

We - family of 5, kids being 5, 3 and 1 - have decided to visit this aquapark which is part of Amadria Resort where we were camping.
Since the camp is on the far side of the resort and park on the other (with available) parking lot, we decided to go by car.
The first setback was they wanted to charge - again, this is part of the SAME RESORT - 35,00 € for parking.
We then walked with three kids, stroller, towels and all the stuff for full day of swimming.
The price is absurdly high (75,00 € for 2 adults and one 5 yr) for what they offer: 3 slides, small pool for the youngest and a slow "river".
The prices inside are absurd and total rip off.
4/5 shops inside were closed. The place looked abandoned, there were algae in the jacuzzis, sand and stone in the pools, cigarette butts all around, the chairs were covered in bird poo and the staff was BEYOND UNFRIENDLY.
Avoid as much as possible. The whole Amadria resort is a scam unfriendly to families with small children just waiting to grab as much money as possible from you.
And we've been to many places, but this is the lowest of low!
Alen Š.G. Koman — Google review
Not very big but still worth the visit. Food and drinks pretty good, prices what you'd expect really.

Just came home from a visit to the Solaris Aquapark resort and it was a mixed bag of emotions afterwards. We where 2 adults and 2 kids over 120cm so in total we paid 640 kuna to just enter. We came here on a very hot day, around 33 degrees, and everything was open for use. Not too many people either, which was nice.
The waterpark itself was great fun, slides and lazy river where good, but the lack of a swimmingpool, just for swimming etc. was missing, which is really weird imo.
The food and beverages was one big let down all in all. Not very good food at all, and to have guests pay 25 kuna, YES 25, for a bottle of water (costs 4 kuna in a supermarket) is just disgusting. So if you decide to go here MAKE SURE to bring your OWN food and beverages.
The cleanliness of the park in general was really good. Especially props to the personnel in charge of cleaning the restrooms. They really deserve praise for making it look fresh and neat!
Definetely worth a visit if you have kids, but make sure you bring your own food and beverages, or it's gonna be an expensive experience.
Mario Paleka — Google review
It's a fun place for kids. Not a lot of room for adults but it was nice freshing up from the heat. Entrance is expensive but food and drinks prices are reasonable.
Elona Cassar — Google review
Too expensive for what you get. More than 100€ entrance for a family (2 adults 2 small kids). Inside it is clean, but really poor entertainment. For less money in Denmark (a much wealthy and rich country) we enjoyed unforgettable entertainment parks. 15€ for chicken nuggets menu (small portion fries, 6 chicken nuggets + small coke). 3,30€ for an espresso. I said: it must be of very high quality for this price. No, it was not. The prices are not proportional to the quality and to the country standards
Gianluca Valerio — Google review
Not the best option in “not that hot summer days”, water was quite cold - so be careful when do you visit. We’ve been there in the afternoon for 2hrs and +100EUR for a family plus additional 16EUR for parking seems a little overpriced.
Ivos G. — Google review
Although the children enjoyed it i have to give 3 stars. I respect the rules imposed yet i have been charged full price for my 8y old, he is 120cm yet was considered over. His sibling is 2 cm higher so i have no quarell there. Overall a little small and in conjunction with plenty of people it gets really annoying to stay in line for the attractions. Plenty of space with plenty of camp beds, many under trees to provide shadow in the scorching sun, this shows me some taught was put into it. As a personal conclusion based on lessons learned, buy ticket online, half a day and go just for the kids, avoid spending 💰 on the food ( was ok yet really expensive for what it offered)

OK everyone you know the price before you enter stop moaning! it's the price of a dinner do your research beforehand. Took our own lunch in for those who don't no search mini market its 2 min walk you can come and go once you havevyiur wrist band pop over there buy water drinks food bring it back into the park. My 2 kids 12 and 10 had a great time loved it 4-5 hours was enough. The parks small but fun kids under 10 will love it lots of happy faces 😊
Desmond Palmer — Google review
The waterpark is OK. Its a little overpriced for what you get, as it is probably the ONLY waterpark on the planet without proper changing rooms or showers, and the lockers they rent to you for an overpriced amount, are so small that basically you can only fit your wallet and phone into, instead of all your belongings.
The waterpark also lacks shade for small kids in the middle of the day, which is too bad as they could easily put some shade canopy over the large water playground and the smaller baby playground.
However, the park is very clean. The food is delicious and one cheeseburger can easily feed 2 hungry kids, and the food is very good quality.
The playgrounds and the river are fun and provided good, safe recreation for my two small kids for the entire day.
They provide free, clean floating vests for small kids so they can safely enjoy the waterpark also without concern.
The parking is also a negative. The actual lot of the hotel/park complex is overpriced. The attendant of the lot directs you to the much cheaper lot across the street, and since he probably gets a cut from them, doesnt direct you to the totally free, shady parking right by the park entrance. There is of course no sign that there is a small gate across the street from the free parking directly to the waterpark entrance, so we walked all the way around the first time.
All in all, it is far from perfect, overpriced, but at the end of the day, Id go back because my kids loved it, the staff was surprisingly friendly, the food good, and the facility clean.
Patric Lausch — Google review
The park is not very large but our kids had good fun there. So it is definitely worth visiting. I would say an average visit could be around 5-6 hours maximum. After that you might get bored. The enterence fee is 110 HRK for those higher 120 cm and you can get 10% if you buy the tickets as a guest at the reception desk of one of the Amadria Park hotels in which you are staying. Also if you have such tickets, you do not have to wait in the queue at the ticket office.
Exellent place to spend 30-45 minutes with kids. Reasonably priced enterpreneurship (comparing to rip-off pricing at St Michaels castle), with taste of simple family approach. Most of reptiles (even fishes) have their own Name. Some of lizards and fishes are very communicable and willingly approaching for a contact. Kid's smile is priceless! Bravo!

If I could leave zero star I would. We came in and were in absolute shock! The aquariums were way too small, animals looked depressed and this should be illegal. There was a crocodile with about 7 turtles and fish in one tank that was not nearly big enough for couple of fish! The tanks looked dirty and not minded. Avoid at all cost , came out of there after 5 minutes upset and crying because we payed to give the place money to continue this abuse.
Please please don't go there.
Lucy Jrt — Google review
Small place with a few species. Fun was the fact that almost all the animals had there own names.
Tudor Constantin Cristian — Google review
We had a great time there. All animals where easy to see and seemed to be pretty happy about their habitat. One or another habitat could be a bit bigger and better designed but definitely worth. The owner is a really kind guy and answered all of our questions. We also met Benjamin the Chinchilla and could pet him 👍🏻
Hermann — Google review
I would not recommend going to this place. The tanks are small and dirty, fishes are sick, suffering from different diseases. Information boards are hardly readable.
This "aquarium/terrarium" does not deserve it's name and should be closed. I cannot believe a place like this can remain open for public, please save these animals!
Lindsay Antoine — Google review
An overall horrible experience, really. Do not visit this place.
The cages are too small and dirty, the whole place seems as it was totally abandoned.
I only saw one staff member, the cashier at the entrance, and no one else who was taking care of the animals.
The animals do not look healthy, especially the birds.
The "highlight" of cruelty was the LIVING chicken in the cage of a snake. It was standing there, in a horrible condition and absolute fear. Another cage with a snake in it had no locks, you could literally just push the plastic lids to the side and therefore free the snake. It was already slightly open.
This should be illegal.
Johanna E. — Google review
The animals were all beautiful, most very interesting, but the aquarium itself is very small than we expected, we went through it all in less than 10 minutes. No glory, but when you are around you need to have kids to visit 🙌💁
Natálie Pípová — Google review
It is very small place, but could be interesting for kids. Especially that it is only one this type of attraction in this area. Our 4-years old son was glad. For us it was very short rest (15 minutes) from sun, but it was also interesting to see some fish, snakes and lizards. But do not expect zoo, the number of animals is very little :).
Gregor — Google review
It's not bad if you like fish, lizards, spiders and so on. But for somebody else it could be only expensive short walk.
Michal Bošanský — Google review
What a wonderful experience. 😀
First of all, it takes around 7 and a half minutes to see everything. Among the species you can see, more than half can be found in an average pet shop. I'm surprised there wasn't a terrarium with house flies. All of the animals look sick and neglected. Couple of terrariums were not even locked, so basically anyone could have unleashed the wild animals. A crocodile was in a cage that was way too small. On top of all that, in the whole place there's only one employee, the kid selling the tickets. Speaking of tickets, they charge 10 euros for two rooms with a couple of vivariums. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to see a goldfish.

As of now, the garden is sort of owned by a cafe and one cannot enter the garden without paying 3 Euro per person to the cafe OR buying something. This looks a bit weird, because you can't know this until you climb upstairs to the garden. The garden itself is cute, but really tiny, the fee of 3 euro and this cafe situation is a bit funny honestly. Alternatively, you can buy an ice cream for 2.5 Euro per person and also enter the garden, because then you're sort of cafe visitor. I guess this cafe idea won't survive very long. Basically the garden right now is not worth climbing + fee.

The Šibenik City Museum is situated within a palace and showcases artifacts and exhibitions that trace the history of Sibenik from prehistoric times up to the 19th century. Visitors can view bone and stone tools, ceramics, iron, bronze items, books, firearms and more. The museum is comfortable and suitable for those who have an interest in history. It has 17th century muskets and rifles on display which make a lasting impression.
So much thought and care was put into what is on display regarding the city's long turbulent history from ceramics, jewelry, funerary plaques, parts of buildings to old documents, invention drawings, weapons etc And everything is well described in English.
My parents and I (mid 60s and 30s) loved the museum - my parents do not even typically enjoy museums and they were enthused! It really put beautiful Sibenik into historical perspective.

Alternatively, you can buy an ice cream for 2.5 Euro per person and also enter the garden, because then you're sort of cafe visitor. I guess this cafe idea won't survive very long. Basically the garden right now is not worth climbing + fee.

It is a nice, small place with the garden, surrounded by the buildings of the Old Town. Interesting for 10-15 minutes, maybe more if you want to drink something in the cafeteria. Anyway it is a nice variety from the stone surroundings.

The worst service I ever experienced in Šibenik. The servers are unattentive, slow, and generally disinterested, and the salads we ordered were watery and very bland. Came here for the first time five years ago and am sad to see nothing has changed for the better. The location is amazing - it’s a shame that the service is so poor.

Šibenik abounds with public signage to the gardens, which have appeared on TV. However they are now in the clutches of an not inexpensive cafe/restaurant and access is only for those eating there as I and a large group behind me found out today. The Tourist Office tell me they have tried to get things changed, so far without success. They get a fair number of complaints, mainly that signage to a monastry and garden leads to something very different that leaves people feeling conned. The Tourist Office are currently advising against visiting until the owners change thir policy.

The garden is a small, nice and quiet garden hidden in a beautiful spot, and it would have been a perfect place to relax if it weren't actually a private property of the owner of the cafe/restaurant near it who arrogantly allows entry only to the customers. Place is nicely advertised everywhere just as a regular sightseeing spot, someone paid local authorities handsome sum to be advertised like this. 5 stars for the garden, 1 star for public management. Hope locals raise a fit over this.

I'd say SKIP! We waited 45 min for two salads. What we got was a disappointing. Octopus salad tasted like canned food and the portion was more like an starter than a lunch salad. Prawn salad had two slices of avocado (raw, not eateble), few bits of cucumber and all the rest was aragula. Prawns were ok. We told about our unpleasement and waitress said everything is fresh and that they're sorry. No attemp to compensate, even the water we asked during wait was on the bill.

The Garden of St. Lawrence's Monastery in Šibenik is a rather small but tidy, good looking garden. It is on a terrace between Monastery's buildings. It is home to numerous mediterranean spice herbs, a fountain with fish in the middle and a turtle or two which are usually hidden among plants. With a caffe bar at the entrance, this is a great place for a getaway from usual routine.

Little piece of heaven.🌸💕 Beautiful view, peaceful atmosphere, slow music and Julius Meinl coffee & tea selections. Couldn't possibly ask for more. The menu is rich and not overpriced.
Keep in mind that the gardens of the monastery are actually a private property, so you can't just stop by and take a look. Only the customers of the cafeteria get the privilege to enjoy them.
DALMARE Ltd. is an indoor shopping center located in Sibenik that offers a wide range of retail options such as clothing and shoe stores, a supermarket, pharmacy, telecom services, and even a movie theater for entertainment. There is also a play area for children. Although the baby room could use some improvement and the wheelchair bathroom cannot be locked, overall DALMARE Ltd. provides accessibility to many necessary amenities within its premises.
Great place for families and singles for relax and a lot sun on beach.

Great place, never had a negative experience here. Stores are top notch in service, tourist friendly too.
Only times I've seen staff being anything other than perfect was to shoplifters and people behaving very poorly. People from Dalmacija are usually very friendly, just don't act like a jackass and you'll get along fine.
At the top they have a Cinestar movie theater, and a cafe with an outdoor terrace that is just wonderful on a sunny day or under a starry night.
Middle floor has everything from jewelry, watches, clothing, shoes, sporting goods, and Muller and Konzum for groceries.
Bottom floor has various appliances, phones, tv's, gaming consoles, a DM store, bank, and a McDonald's with a drive through. Recently a Gyms4You opened next to the McDonald's.
Parking is free, and they really have a huge lot. There's even a nightclub and a Lidl not far from the lower parking lot.
I've been to a lot of malls in Croatia, this is one of my favorite. Places like Mall of Split might be larger, but none of them have the friendly Dalmatian marketplace vibe that this place has.
10/10

Nice modern shopping centre. Good shops and cafes. Plenty of parking and easy access and on the bus routes too.

Good place to spend a few hours with friends or family. Has a relatively good variety of stores (Adidas, Muller, Konzum...), a few coffee shops, a McDonalds and a Gym.
A downside is the design of the interior. The halls are very narrow, with low ceilings, which makes it quite claustrophobic.
