Playa de Toró is a popular beach destination located in the northwestern region of Spain. It is well-known for its pristine waters and sandy shores, making it an attractive spot for sunbathing, swimming, and other water-related activities. The beach also offers stunning views of the surrounding cliffs and rock formations that add to its natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy various amenities such as restaurants, shops, and parking areas nearby.
Nice beach to have a picnic! There are plenty of benches and tables available and there is even a bar nearby!
We visited when the ocean was slightly rough and the views of the waves crashing into the rocks was spactacular! I do recommend visiting!

Great beach, with space to recline in the sun and places to paddle in the ocean if you’d like. Can walk into town from the beach (10 mins) and there are a couple of restaurants and showers so you can wash the sand off after.

The jagged rocks give this beach a cool vibe. There's ample parking but you could also park somewhere in Llanes and walk to the beach, it only takes about 15 mins. As well as a restaurant, restrooms and showers, there is also a picnic area under some trees with benches etc.
Playa de Ballota is a stunning coastal area that boasts of limited parking near the beach. Visitors who arrive late must park on the main road and walk down the dirt path to reach the beach. The natural landscape is a treasure, but one has to earn it by walking from up top. Additionally, there's an excellent restaurant available on-site for visitors to enjoy their meals while taking in the breathtaking views.
Playa de Poo is a stunning coastal area that boasts a vast sandy expanse with tranquil, shallow waters sheltered by forested headlands. It is an excellent destination for families as the beach is ideal for children and non-swimmers due to its shallow depth. However, visitors must take note of the tide schedule online before making any plans because during low tide, the beach tends to be wider but full of algae. The parking fee charges 4 euros per day.
A divine poo, makes me want to discover a new piece of it as we only saw a fraction of what trap 1s special has to offer. Had a sit on the poo before we buried ourselves in it and went for a swim in the poo water. Ponga Poo is a lovely stinker and would make Dave Baker proud. He'd love to get drunk on poo and slip a baby one down to pass on the poo legacy. What a smelly man.

We walked here from Llanes after reading reviews.
We went by the cliff path but returned via the road - much better.
In English, Poo isn't great, but Poo Bay is superb!👍
Highly recommended for a great day out.
We arrived at low tide, but that wat still good, the waves gave us great fun, and the water was soooo warm😀
After about 2 hours, the tide turned, and we enjoyed the larger waves coming in.
Later in the afternoon, we had a sidra cider at the beach bar, and it was great👌
A superb day out from Llanes👌

Very sheltered from any wind, beautiful little cove, a bit out of the way so not crowded, well at least on 21st April
Linda Pearce — Google review
The place is amazing but make sure to check online when the tide is high. If you go when it's low the beach will be wide and full of algae. The parking is with payment of 4 euros for the full day.

Beautiful blue sea, sea goes pretty far out so lots of sandy area & rock pools/small caves to explore. We went in October & were almost the only ones there. Pleasant walk from Llanes to get there.

Great little beach. Went at the end of July expecting it to be crowded but there was plenty of space. When the tide is out there's a big expanse of wet sand that is great for very young children.

Located on the breakwater of the port in Llanes, Spain, Los Cubos de la Memoria is a striking art installation by sculptor Agustin Ibarrola. These massive concrete blocks are adorned with vibrant colors and designs that change with the tide and light, creating an ever-evolving mosaic. Considered one of Spain's most significant public art pieces, this landmark offers a unique blend of artistic expression and coastal protection.
Great idea and beautiful view of the town

Nice scenery and some nice artwork on the cubic wave breakers. The artwork on the cubes of the outer open waters have started to fade away, but the ones in the bay are still relatively well maintained. Honestly nothing much to see other than the cubes. But there is a nice backdrop of the main cliffs of the mainland shores toward the end of this breakwater.

The town of Llanes sports the Cubos de la Memoria to protect its harbor from the open ocean. They reminded us of piles of bright presents in 2008 when they were apparently covered in fresher paint. The Basílica de Santa María del Concejo in Llanes, Asturias, is a stunning example of Gothic architecture dating back to the 12th century. It was completed in the 15th century and features an exquisite altar from Italy showcasing early Renaissance sculptures. This free-to-enter basilica is a rare gem of Gothic design in Asturias, with its construction commissioned by the city of Llanes and declared as a basilica in 1973.
It is one of the few examples of Gothic in Asturias. Its construction was commissioned by the city of Llanes, which began in 1240 and lasted until the 14th-15th centuries. Declared as a basilica on April 25, 1973. The temple is built on a basilica plan with three naves and three apses and is covered with a ribbed and stellar vault. On the north wall there is the tomb chapel of Juan Pariente or de la Trinidad, founded in the 14th century. The church has two strongly flared Romanesque facades, a belfry and a 16th-century portico protecting the facade from the south.
