At Taqwa Grand Mosque is a magnificent place of worship adorned with calligraphy and boasting four minarets. It features a gold gateway and an adjacent garden adding to its grandeur. The mosque provides excellent amenities such as a clean canteen/trading area, well-maintained restrooms equipped with soap, and ample parking space. Its strategic location beside Alun Alun Cirebon makes it easily accessible to the public.
A famous mosque in Cirebon, comfort, clean and near to public area. The mosque is beside Alun Alun Cirebon.

Spacious parking, clean and comfortable mosque for worship. guests visiting Cirebon and stopping by for prayers and religious tourism continue to grow. It's time to increase the number of women's toilets. Interesting architecture, able to accommodate large numbers of worshipers. For early morning worshipers who need breakfast, there are street vendors around the main square and mosque. There is also an application for those who want to make non-cash donations. The courtyard of the mosque continues with the square of the Attorney General's Office. The appearance of the main square gate is very beautiful, combined with a beautiful garden. For those who like jogging, a safe track is available, by going around the main square.

At-Taqwa Great Mosque
Masjid Raya At-Taqwa is a most beautifull mosque in West Java. It is in Jl. RA. Kartini no 2 Cirebon.
At-Taqwa Mosque or At-Taqwa Grand MASJID is a historical mosque in the city of Cirebon, West Java, founded in 1918.
Today it is one of the congregational masjid in Cirebon and considered an icon of the city of cirebon.
The masjid also provides Islamic learning as well as public services such as blood donation and a free ambulance.
The masjid was founded in a village called Kejaksan. Initially, it consisted of two sections; one is used as the masjid called Tajug Agung (the present At-Taqwa Masjid) and the other half is used as an alun-alun (the present Kejaksan Square).
The mosque was initially named Tajug Agung, but due to the aging structure and the rising demand for an increased prayer capacity, R.M. Arhatha, then head of the Cirebon city Council of Religious Affairs had the idea to renovate Tajug Agung and rename it to At-Taqwa Mosque.
The name Tajug Agung roughly corresponds to the "Great Mosque" and as there was already a great mosque located in the Kasepuhan (the present-day Great Mosque of Sang Cipta Rasa), the officials considered two mosques with the name "great mosque" is unjustifiable. In 1951 the reconstruction of the mosque began and it was inaugurated as At-Taqwa in 1963.

This mosque provides great facilities. Starting from the canteen/trade place located in a certain area so that the mosque is not dirty & smelly, the toilets are clean & accompanied by soap, and a large parking area. Of course it makes worship feel comfortable.

Located in the the city center nearby alun-alun, the mosque is indeed very strategic, big, and clean.
It is cool inside the mosque, but cirebon itself is so hot (around 35 C at time of my visit).
Overall, I like the mosque and its surrounding. It is easy to buy some local foods (for food traveller),,, ehehhe

A place to crash from Cirebon's hot sun. Centrally located in Cirebon, the access is very easy to this mosque. The mosque is big and cool inside. I has also the highest tower in Cirebon, so if you want to see Cirebon from the top, it is one of the option.

At first I didn't expect much from that place because the last time I visited there the atmosphere was unpleasant but all of that was refuted by the place when I visited it again, the At-Taqwa Grand Mosque is quite an impressive place for me because it can give an impression of worship that I will never forget.

Cirebon Super Block Mall is a modern shopping center located in Cirebon. It boasts four floors of shops, as well as a cinema and food court offering plenty of dining options. The mall also features a supermarket in the basement and an adjacent hotel for visitors' convenience. While the mall may be somewhat limited in terms of available merchandise, it remains comfortably air-conditioned despite being open until 10 pm each day. However, parking can be difficult due to its limited space.
The whole mall is just fine. But limited things you can get. A little too hot for a mall. But fine.

Sunyaragi Cave Park is a historic location resembling a cavern with gardens that was constructed by the sultans of Cirebon as a place for rest and meditation. It's a serene and unique location made from reefs that offers visitors an atmosphere of peacefulness. Despite being located close to the city, this vibrant site is usually devoid of visitors in the middle of the afternoon.

If you love historical places with a hint of mystery, this should be on the top of your list!
General ticket costs IDR 15.000,-. However, ticket for students is cheaper, only IDR 10.000,-. Visiting this place on weekends won't be a big deal. It is pretty spacious and you will find lots of photo spots (beautifully taken to fit on your Instagram feeds).

If it is your first time coming here, you should be taking their tour guide to get better understanding of this historical site significant . Else, you will wonder around without knowing much of each specific "cave" historical story and the "benefits". Recommend to come here before 10am, so you can enjoy the place with minimum sun exposure and humid sunny weather. You can complete the whole tour in less than 2 hours and an activity that you can start after your breakfast by having some walks.

Its a good attraction. I’d recommend to go early in the morning once this place is open. Basically this place has like a complex of cave where you can explore everything. And each cave actually had a dedicated usage. Like there was one cave where it used to be a girls bedroom with a cool window. Definitely a must to go to, if you visit Cirebon. Price ticket is pretty cheap. All around a good experience.

Keraton Kasepuhan is a historical palace built in 1447 and open to the public as a museum. It features stunning old architecture, mostly in white, and offers guided tours with friendly and informative guides who share fascinating stories about its rich history. Although the area is quite large, visitors should allow at least 30-45 minutes to fully appreciate the experience. Unfortunately, some irresponsible tourists have left garbage inside the museum, making it less well-maintained than it could be.
A must-visit place in Cirebon!
I recommend you to visit the museum as well, it's very educative and interesting.

So disgusting and filthy. Totally not maintained well. At least what you can do is to put garbage cans everywhere, all the garbage are on the beach, under the cottages. It stinks, how do people still rent the cottage there, is beyond me! "BENER2 GA LAYAK UNTUK DIJADIKAN TEMPAT PENGINAPAN ATAU RESTO". With the type of under maintenance, I am not so sure of the quality. I am questioning the quality of the restaurant and the water park cleanliness too. Owner doesn't care enough to make the place safe and clean. If you cannot run the biz, just close it. Disgusting..beyond disgusting!!!

Very old mosque, clean and well taken care of. But ablution for women is a bit inappropriate as the men can see women opening their scarf just a few feet away.

At the centre of the precinct is a historical mosque with traditional architecture and made entirely of dark coloured timber. Visitors are allowed to enter the historical mosque through the small door. Daily prayers are performed on undercover area around it.
Very beautiful although a bit dusty at some spots. It is understandable as maintaining a structure like this would not be easy. So please donate generously to the mosque while visiting it.

This red-brick masjid doesn't look like others in common. It looks old, and yes, historical. I came here just few days ago (Dec 2019) at 9.30 AM and the main gate wasn't opened yet, so we had to walk around to find the entrance door at the back side. The parking officer said it usually opens for public at 10AM. The relaxed ambience and the quietness create an image of sacred place. There are toilets and ablution place. Mukena (prayer gown) for women is available. People can do the prayer on the outer part or inner part. To get into the inner part (where you can see the unusual-wooden-dome's structure, special place for king's family to pray), you will have to bend your body because the entrance is smaller than the normal size. If you drive here, you can park near Kasepuhan square by paying 10.000 rupiahs.

Design wise, this is a field surrounded by structures made of traditional red brick. signature of Cirebonese olden building but, they are to short and seemed so scattered everywhere.
There was a library there but again, not much of book collection. So the best time to visit is actually early in the morning when the air is still fresh and the sun is not out yet.

Keraton Kanoman Kota Cirebon is a historical palace from the 17th century that features a pavilion, Chinese ceramic decorations, and a museum of relics. Despite its significant cultural value, the keraton has been neglected and lacks maintenance. The keraton's beautiful china gates are embedded with marvelous designs that are worth seeing. Its museum showcases valuable collections reflecting its rich history; however, it appears dusty and has spider webs in the corners of the room.
Sultanate families still lives there, the palace is still used as a household for the sultan descendants. The place is quite unique and the guide is often related to the sultan. Very nice..

when I entered the palace, the terrace was very dirty, the dust and dirt on the floor stuck to my socks, never in the broom and in the mop. The condition of the palace should be paid more attention. Lots of dry and dirty leaves. Inside the palace there is a musty smell, it must be opened so that the air in the room is replaced with the air outside. I was not taken to the heritage museum by the guide. When we want to go home, we give less than 50 thousand rupiahs, but the palace guide only want to accept 50 thousand rupiahs and don't want to accept less than 50 thousand rupiahs, I am a little surprised but that's okay, hopefully the palace really takes care of it.

Went here for the food court only. Located in third floor, the place is comfortable and it offers varied kind of food. Non smoking room with spacious area for children to play. Will definitely come here again.

My fav supermarket in Cirebon. It is clean, modern, and they have imported products and produces. Their fruits and vegetables are among the freshest in town.

One of the best shopping mall in Cirebon. Good ambience, great service, awesome selection in grocery and fashion products. overall a nice retail store. They also have an arcade and foodcourt in the top floor.
Kanoman Market is a lively hub of hawker stalls and craft vendors, boasting vibrant exhibits of chilis and batik fabrics. This bustling marketplace in Cirebon offers visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in a wide array of traditional goods, including batik clothing, handicrafts, and local delicacies. For those seeking a culinary adventure, Kanoman Market provides an extensive range of delectable food options.
Such a great traditional wet market. Sell different kinds of street food, fresh fruits and vegetables, even any home utentils and needs. Open since very early at dawn and continuously stay crowded untill around 9 in the morning.
Good way to start your day, look here and there.
Lots of 'becak' here and there, help you to carry piles of big things you bought.
Must find the best Ketan Gurih there!!! Tried out any local street foods with very cheap price of course!

One of main destination at Cirebon. If you want to culinary you can get all of it here. But it's better to come at morning when the food is just served.

The most famous traditional market in Cirebon. Big and crowded. This market sells almost everything: clothes, fabric, foods (raw and cooked), fruits, household items even aquarium supply. Open all year round, 7 days a week, from dawn to afternoon (mostly) and some stores open until evening. Located near Kanoman Palace, one of tourist destination in Cirebon. However parking is a little bit tricky. Price is the best here, could be cheapest in Cirebon.

The usual Indonesian style market, wet roads, smells not really good, and dirty. Not actually for tourist but you might walk around here if you're looking for traditional cake. This place is close to Kanoman and Kacirebonan Palace

If you want to experience Indonesian traditional market, go to Pasar Kanoman Cirebon. There are hawkers that sells vegetables, fruits, seafood, and any other daily necessities. If you go a little further, you can visit Keraton Kanoman, that lies by the end of the market. It's another exciting Cirebonese Palace

Yo, listen. This traditional market is just awesome. Cheapest one, crowded one, and never underestimate this market because this place is just so good in this modern days. Minus the parking lot—because this place must taken half of the street just for parking lot. Pedicab driver that also everywhere. Parking attendants that never show when you come and always there when you wanna go home asking some "parking fee"—even just 2000k for motorcycle and 4000k for a car.
The Karaton Kacirebonan is a majestic palace built around 1807 and houses an impressive collection of historical artifacts, including portraits of the sultan, ancient jewelry, keris weapons, intricate puppets, European porcelain pieces, and even old colonial documents. Visitors can enjoy a guided tour for Rp 10.000,00 and marvel at the Cirebon's Al Quran or listen to the beautiful sounds of Sundanese gamelan music.
There's a lot of stories that can be told from this historical building. Nice tour guide.

ONE of three Palaces in Cirebon city. The smallest one but nice and interesting to visit. Occasionally have traditional performances which open to public.
The website and the management needs to upgrade it's information for international travelers interest. Last time I checked they have no foreign speaking guide stand by.

Beautiful Keraton, plenty of things to see. According to the guide, the current Sultan lives right across the street and have events here. Cool to be able to see the original clothes of the old Sultans here.

People can enjoy the view with Rp 10.000,00 for a ticket. There are many historical relics of Kasultanan Cirebon housed here, e.g: portrait of Sultan, old jewelries, keris, puppets, european porcelaine, Sultan's batik collection, Cirebon's Al Quran, Colonial documents/letters, Sundanese gamelan, etc. It has large space of parking area. There is a canteen outside which provides Nasi Bogana, a special menu that serve at palace tradition.

The Keraton Kacirebonan is one of the 3 palaces in Cirebon. The collections in this Pallace vary from swords, documents, ancient quran, chairs, tableware and gamelan instruments that are still used for ceremonies. The ticket cost you only 10 K IDR and you can add 5K to be accompanied by a guide. She will tell about the history and also explain the function of each item for the ceremonies.
Kejawanan Beach is a favored destination for tourists seeking an easy and straightforward entry into shallow waters, where they might engage in activities such as swimming, wading or simply enjoying the sunset. This beautiful spot offers a relaxed atmosphere and its popularity among visitors continues to grow because of its no-fuss access point. Visitors can indulge in a multitude of water-based pursuits or simply take in the stunning vista as they wind down at this picturesque locale.
The beach is clean. Good location, only quick drive from Cirebon town center. There are 2 options of good seafood restaurants nearby. Not expensive entry fee. There is lack of shade, so bring umbrella, hat and sunglasses.

Prolly, It's like the one beach in the country where playing 'Sunday Best' by Surfaces just doesn't vibe right. Renovations happened, but let's be real, it's still just a smidge better.
Let's spill the beans. This small bee-yatch is basically a backyard extension with no clear line between houses, the harbor, and the actual sand. And don't even get me started on their Cinderella hours - beach curfew at 5 or 6 p.m. Goodness! It has closing hours.
Except for the restaurant. They open til night.
And there's some wild tale that the ocean water here works like a miracle potion. Healing powers boo yah, I'm skeptical ofcourse, but who knows, right? Some people live the legend by soaking in it.
Calling all shutterbugs! This place might not be perfect, but those ships and boats parked nearby are your golden ticket to some epic photo ops!
Lastly, The saving grace is its Golden Hour. It's gorgeous.
With cheap ticket 🎫 you will get all things I mentioned above.
Enjoy.

It’s dirty, and so many people asking money too. Once you go in, they ask u to pay ticket. And then a thug ask for parking money. After u leave the beach, another thug ask for parking money. Crazy!

I came here because I wanted to experience the sea's ambience, and I believe that only this beach in Cirebon is accessible for everyone.
Will break down the price if you go there by a car, based on my experience.
1. The fee for entering the fishing port is 6,000 rupiah.
2. spend 4,000 rupiah for parking near the spot
3. Entry to the beach costs 5,500 rupiah each person, and the beach is only available until 5 p.m. per board rule.
Overall, the beach is like a backfill beach, not natural, so if you go there looking for peace and quiet and the sea, I don't think you'll find it because there are a lot of people and it's dirty (the water is brown), possibly due to its proximity to the port.
There is a prayer room and a restroom, but it is crowded with people rinsing, so it is dusty and sandy.
Be cautious if you want to swim or play on the boat because there are jellyfish when the sea is high tide.

A popular sand and mangrove beach tourist spot in the city of East Cirebon. It's just a shame that it's full of rubbish along the shoreline.

It's pretty interesting to sail to the sea of Kejawanan Beach. You can enjoy this experience by paying 10.000 rupiahs. You also have to wait for few people in order to sail. Unfortunately, when we were here, the tide was high so the water covered the area with sand. The view is stunning with lots of ships and boats, hills. There are also small restaurants where you can eat while enjoying the beach. The parking fee is only 5000 for cars. However, this beach needs further improvement on cleanliness and tidiness, also on its access.
Wening S. Amungkasi — Google review
There is no entrance to this beach, because some maintenance occured there. But you can see the sea in front of cafe out inside pelabuhan
Husna Yanevi — Google review
Theres not much to this beach i gotta say. Its more like a harbour than a beach. If you expect to go to a sandy beach, then it may not be your choice. But you can still experience the vibe. You can also hop on a boat to get the full exploration of the shore, there are locals who offer you a boat ride to go around for 10mins you can just pay IDR 5k per person. Though its cheap, im not sure about the safety for this ride. There are lots of boat too. One thing to note, if you go here using uber/gocar/grabcar, its pretty hard to find a car driver here.

nice place to catch a view.. and in case you guys don't know.. it just costs about 2.000-3.000 IDR for each person to enter the place, exclude the parking fee..
Taman Doa Regina Rosari in Cirebon offers a peaceful and beautiful space for prayer and reflection. The well-maintained gardens and Stations of the Cross provide a serene atmosphere, while the grotto dedicated to Virgin Mary adds another spiritual dimension. Highly recommended for Catholic pilgrims or anyone seeking a quiet sanctuary in Cirebon.

The church has just opened the new place to pray, named Taman Doa Regina Rosario. It's beautiful, a combination of Cirebon artistic elements and art of Catholic. It's a good place to pray, to mesmerize the death of Jesus and to love God even more.

Gua Maria Regina Rosary is belongs to the Bunda Maria Parish in Cirebon and It was built just behind the Church,
There is also a huge and beautiful Prayer Garden called Taman Doa Regina Rosary at the area behind the Church. It is a nice place for praying, quiet and relaxing. Most of the time they turn on Gregorian song in latin through the speakers in the garden and create the atmosphere more sacred.
The Regina Rosary garden also has a facility for people who want to conducting Way of The Cross prayer, but it would be more comfortable to visit in the morning or afternoon because during day time is hot.

It is a great experience to visit this beautiful park. Here, you can pray the Station of The Cross on the love-shaped path (I think it means Jesus loves us through the crucifixation and every part of the love is assembled through every stations). Such a beautiful meaning! The architecture is great, awesome, and has a traditional aspect as the symbol of acculturation. Not so crowded but the weather is quite hot. Here you can find a Marian grotto and a Catholic Church (named Bunda Maria or Mother Mary). The parking lots are huge even for big buses.

This is our first time visited the Saint Mary Prayer Garden located in East side of Cirebon. The Prayer Garden is very nice, well designed and built. It is good to spend sometimes in this garden for praying and feel the quiet and peaceful atmosphere while the heat of the Sun felt like burning a bit of our skin. There are trees have been planted around the Garden but at this moment they are still young and less branches and leaves... This is another place for Catholics whom conducting Ziarek must be visit besides Gua Maria Sawer Rahmat....
