The Beacon Climbing Centre is an indoor facility that features rope walls, bouldering, and climbs with color-coded paths. This center offers lessons suitable for all ages. With its skilled instructors and well-designed layout, it has gained popularity among climbing enthusiasts. Booking ahead is recommended since their website can be confusing when looking at the number of climbers. The gym provides a fun experience for individuals or families who want to engage in rock climbing activities during holidays or weekends.
Incredible instructors and hence its very popular. Need to book ahead rather than look at the number of 'climbers' on their website which is very confusing! My kids loved their hour, woukd recommend!

This centre has the friendliest staff. We went for a crazy climb session and the coaches including Charlotte and Jacob were friendly and approachable and helped the kids. Afterwards they were very accommodating when the girls wanted to do a climbing session on the walls with their uncle. It's a lovely centre with a huge range of walls and climbs for all abilities and a lovely cafe too for those who fulfil the taxi driver role rather than the climber role!! Will definitely return.

Fantastic session. Harry's (8) 3rd visit and younger brother William's (5) 1st visit to Crazy Climb. Harry goes from strength to strength every time. William had a nervy start but both Milly & Jenny were phenomenal with him, made him feel at ease and made sure he got a lot out of his visit. They've both been buzzing ever since!

Absolutely amazing! Enormous inside, especially compared to our local bouldering box. Has belays, bouldering, slack lines...an absolute climbing heaven.
Super friendly staff, very reasonably priced, good quality shoes for rental.
Would absolutely love to come back at some point!

Lots of choice for climbing, including bouldering and a crazy climb area (aimed more for kids, but adults can give it a go! 😉). Everyone was really friendly, climbers and staff alike. You can bring your own equipment or hire what you need, then take a break in the cafe with a cake and a brew once you are knackered! We could have eaily spent all day there!

Met many friendly climbers too and really enjoyed my time here.

The staff weren't very welcoming or friendly but the climbing on offer is excellent -- the facilities are superb. It's a shame that in a town and area that's mostly Welsh speaking that there's no trace of Welsh there by the staff or on the signs. Fine for tourists I imagine but not very welcoming for locals.

Best indoor climbing wall we have been to in the UK, hence why it is always busy, although big enough to still get a lot of climbing in. There are so many good lead routes and the setting is excellent not just based on how tall you are. Finally the staff are professional and very welcoming

Fantastic place, cant fault it one bit. Staff are excellent, friendly, and very approachable. Recently Completed the climbing course ( great price too) Now I'm able to take my children climbing, and they love every minute of it too. There's something for all ages. Well worth checking the place out.

Wonderful climbing gym, friendly atmosphere with super helpful staff. We had left some belongings behind, and they went an extra mile to post them back to us promptly. We are so grateful! Would love to visit again when in the area.

My nieces we're away with us and it was a wet day so we searched for somewhere to take them indoors, the staff were amazing and the young man that took the girls and coached them was absaloutly fab, he spoke to tham showed intrest in where they lived etc. And had them relaxed and laughing the whole time, my younger niece is 6 and the older girl is 13 and they absaloutly loved it., they enjoyed it that much they wanted to go back and the eldest wants to do it again now we're home.

This was a great place for a first climb. The instructor gave both my children the confidence to go up high walls and they loved it!

Just wanted to add, attended with a few friends to do a intro to bouldering a few weeks back when we visited Wales. Lads In V12 suggested to give beacon ago and it's now because of beacon I've fallen in love with the hobby. Great staff, great centre, lots of space and what looks to be good lines and options. Our instructor (if that's the right term?😂) was incredible, super helpful and explained everything she could! Apologies I can't remember her name but all of us enjoyed ourselves and I will be pursuing this hobby further because of beacon! :)

Love this wall so much, I’m always recommending it to people.
It’s a lovely relaxed atmosphere with so much climbing even on busy days.
I usually go for the auto belay routes and there’s always something interesting to try. It feels like each route is teaching me to climb a different way (I climb grade 5&6).
The kids club is great and my son is really confident on the wall now.
The cafe is fab too- especially the soup and chai latte!

Chose to come here because it was a rainy day, perfect for indoor activities. This delivered much more than expected. Children had the most amazing time, really entertaining for young and the old. Very friendly staff, in house cafe and plenty of parking

Redline Indoor Karting is a popular destination for those seeking a thrilling experience with go-karting. The staff are friendly and professional, ensuring that visitors have an enjoyable time. The track itself is well-maintained and features interesting turns that will challenge even experienced drivers. Lap timings and statistics are provided, adding to the excitement of the experience. Prices are fair, with various options available to suit different budgets.
Very nice staff and a small track from what I expected. The cars were of decent quality and the track had some interesting turns. Went here on a stag party of 10. You get lap timings and statistics as well. Podium finishers each get a champagne bottle and they taste half decent too. Would recommend !

This place was the nuts! Two really friendly guys there who knew how to make it fun for us, we went with six people and they did us a really good deal too, the prices are very reasonable. They encouraged us to drift and hoon about which we loved! The track is smaller than some but well laid out and really fun! Well worth going and a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon

A lot of fun, friendly staff. It's the kind of place you want to stay all day. The more of you that's there, the more fun it is, I would recommend a group of 4+ but all said it's fun on your own even. During the holidays I would recommend you book as it does get really busy and you might be waiting a long time if you don't have a booking.

It was awesome. We showed up early and they let two kidderz ride before the crowds came. Unfortunately they only gave us 10 minutes. I thought they would at least let them keep going because no one came while they raced around the track. Unless their was a reason that they maybe the crew needed to set up for a party or something. But if there wasn't something like that then I think they should have allowed us to squeeze in 20 to 30 minutes which I'm leaning towards could have easily happened. The track is cool. Cars spin out easy which makes it exciting. They should invest in some outdoor tracks as well. Wish I could work for them because with a proper workforce and advertising a little more investment you could really make some money owning one of these places.

It was cold and wet outside but warm and dry inside. 2 x 15min laps was enough to make the arms ache. Great place for kids as we raced with our 10 and 14 year olds.
