Casa de la Vall is a famous landmark in Andorra located on a rocky elevation from where you can get breathtaking views of the River Vella valley. The building was constructed in the 1500s as a residence for the Busquets family and later transformed into the Parliament headquarters of Andorra until 2011 when it moved to another modern building.
An amazing historic experience! The visit of the house is very informative and the people at the museum are very helpful in explaining how the tour is supposed to go. It details many aspects of the Andorran history as well as the co-princes of Andorra. It is definitely for history fans more than anything. Additionally, it is located in the historic center of Andorra which also houses many cats which you will find along your visit of the exterior. There are also discounts for other museums in Andorra which you can ask for at the desk of the ground floor of the museum.

Casa de la Vall is one of the most symbolic monuments in Andorra 🇦🇩 situated on a rock ⛰ in the old town of Andorra la Vella, overlooking the valley of River Vella 👀
It’s built int the late 16th century as a manor house for the Busquets family 🏯👨👩👧👦
In 1702 Casa de la Vall was converted into the headquarter of Parliament of Andorra, until 2011 when it moved to a newer building in the city 🏢
On one side you can see a sculpture depicting the signing of Pariatgeor 😃🫱📜
Don’t forget to have an extra look at the traditional lime and sandstone mortar, as well as the granite keystones on the main entrance ☝️☺️

Very informative and a cool place to visit when in Andorra. The audio guide explained everything in great detail. The map guide and the directions was a bit confusing. There are some nice books in the shop.

A short audio guided tour of this historic building gives an appreciation of the unique history and government of Andorra. The staff were extremely helpful and fluent in English.

On the 9th of April 2022, we had a great guided tour in the Casa de la Vall. The guide (unfortunately we forgot to ask his name) was very friendly, patient and knowledgable and gave us a great introduction into the history and the political system of Andora. The Casa itself is also very interesting and worth visiting.

Casa de la Vall is a must visit.
The old manor is really well preserved and is a great way to learn more about the history of Andorra, as well it's unique political system of a co-principality democracy. The audio guide is full of fascinating information.
I'd advise getting the PassMuseu to visit Casa de la Vall

Visited this place on a day trip to Andorra on a Friday.
Entrance was €5/person which includes a very helpful audioguide. The employees in Casa de la Vall were very helpful and answered questions/directed it’s visitors whenever needed.
I thought it was a great visit to learn about Andorra’s history. I’d say the visit was worth it.

It was an educational tour, with this museum giving a historical view of Andorra. It used to be a government site. We availed of English tour guide and learned a lot.

Get the passport pass when in Andorra. 50% off on 3 museums of your choice including this one. We came an hour before closing, my hack when visiting museums..It’s the time best to visit. Less people.
For 5€ you get the audio guide. We did the tour for about 15 minutes. It’s just a big house. A lot of rooms are not accessible. Toilet was clean though. If you have 5€ and 45 minutes to park, walk to get there and visit around..Come here. You also get to see the municipal building adjacent to the house, built in 2011. Architecture was pretty nice. The view of the city from the house property is good too, but you can get this view from the trail Rec del Sola too, and it’s free.
The Nobility of Time is a surrealist bronze sculpture created by the renowned artist Salvador Dalí. The artwork features an image of melting clocks and angels, making it a unique and captivating sight for photography enthusiasts. The best time to visit this sculpture is during the evening after sunset when the bridge is lit up, providing stunning views of Andorra La Vella. It's located in Andorra, which has many other remarkable public art pieces to explore besides this masterpiece by Dalí.
Get thee to Andorra. Where else can you find a Salvador Dali amongst many other pieces of public art?

The most beautiful street in the city. Lovely experience to see singing fountains. Picturesque area, nice river, simpatico buildings, small shops, beautiful views, interesting monuments and architectural elements. Must to see if you come to Andorra
Olga Smulyanskaya — Google review
Really not much to see here but what there is, is a good spot for photography in the evening after sunset. Here you’ll get the lit bridge shining Andorra La Vella and you’ll get great pictures. It’s okay during day time too but for stunning pictures and view, you should check it out after sunset when the bridge is lit!

Great spot for tourist selfies with Dali's sculpture, bridges and mountains in background. Not much to see here apart from Dali's sculpture The Persistence of Memory but great spot for tourists to take selfies with the background of the statue, bridges and mountains behind in city center of Andorra la Vella 🇦🇩. The city can be easily explored by walking so most likely you will see this spot as well.

Nice, I like it!
La Noblesse du temps or nobility of time, is a sculpture made by the Catalan artist Salvador Dalí and although it was ceded to the Andorran principality in 1999, it was not until August 2010 that this monument was installed in its current location, in the Plaza de la Rotonda of Andorra la Vella.
The work itself is dated between 1977 and 1982, so although similarities can be found between his most important pictorial works and this series of sculptures, we must not forget that most of his known paintings are from an earlier period.

Nice little hotel. Room is small, but the view from the little balcony perching on the slanted roof and overlooking the river is great. Parking in the garage is limited, will be hard for big cars to maneuver. A paid open parking lot is just nearby. The highlight is only minutes to the beautiful trail. For that, I give a 4 stars.

Very nice monument. Semi-hilarious experience too: a large Portuguese choir showed up (40-50 people) and started singing in Portuguese all lined up in front of the monument. No idea why. We came back 15 minutes later and they were gone, so we could get better views at that point.

We just came back from Andorra and without any doubt this is the most picturesque place where you must go.
It's in a central point of Andorra la Vella easy to reach on foot and surrounded by several shops and restaurants.
At Christmas everything looks enchanting there!

THIS AMAZING BRONZE STATUE ENTITLED “La Noblesse du Temps” (The Nobility of Time) is located in Plaça de la Rotonda in the heart of Andorra Vella. The sculpture displaying a melting clock representing the passage of time was crafted by none other than Salvador Dali.
The sculpture was cast in 1984, and has visited many cities before being permanently installed in the city’s square around 2010. Standing some 16-feet tall (5 meters). It was gifted to the government of Andorra by Enric Sabater, who was Dali’s agent between 1968 and 1982.

Rec del Sola is a great way to see Andorra la Vella from above and away from the streets.
It follows a stone path high above the city offering unrivalled views of the city and valley. It isn't a steep path, although the climb to the path from the city below can be steep.
If you walk from the start to the end (you retrace your steps) you will follow the canal constructed to help irrigate the small scale agriculture either side.
The walk will take no more than 60-90 minutes but is a must

Fantastic, relaxing and safe. Great panorama of La Vella. Remember to take something to drink and snacks. We planned to go for a quick walk, but ended up spending 2 hours. There are lovely benches on the walk. Comfortable shoes a must. Not recommended for very old or very unfit people, because it's a lot of steps going up.
Parc Central is a picturesque green space situated alongside a river. It offers an array of recreational activities such as playgrounds, walking paths, and picnic areas. There is also a bar/eatery where visitors can enjoy food and drinks. The St. Esteve of Andorra Church is a charming, well-preserved Catholic church located in the heart of Andorra La Vella. Built during the 11th and 12th centuries, it boasts an impressive stone bell tower and a pipe organ. The church's simple interior is complemented by its stunning exterior architecture, which blends old and new structures to create a unique look.
I'm leaving 5 stars here because I'm really sorry. The other day during a service I let it rip. Wasn't my intention and I'm pretty sure the person next to me passed out because of it. Again. Sorry for passing the southern winds.

Tbh It's 0 stars. They have their parking only for 30 mins free. And it's not in front as smb mentioned earlier. You should wait lighter to cross the road and walk around 300m. Just to park and reach the store took us 8 mins. Then we took smth and waited in line and then a cashier said that for parking you should use other pay desks where you should wait in line again. Also food for kids are on the second floor for some reason. And their staff can't speak English. At the end we paid 0.75€ for parking to buy something there. It's the worst place we used ever. Try to avoid it.

I did not stay here as a guest, so it would be good if they could split the venue to the Hostel and the Pub separately, so I cannot advise on the accommodation. We had a great lunch and drinks here. Everything was a good fair price and the staff was very kind and helpful. They can speak English which is a big help and they have the menu in multiple languages. We asked for recommendations on typical local deserts and they brought us 2 which were great. The one was a fresh cheese with honey and walnuts, My favorite. Thank you for the hospitality and great food.

It was an enjoyable one night stay at the hostel. For those who prefer their own space, there are mostly private rooms instead of the typical dormitory beds, so you get some privacy.
The central location of the hostel is a plus point, making it easy to access the old town of Andorra La Vella. There is a pub on the ground floor serving food, which was crowded at night, but this did not affect the guests as the noise could not be heard from my room.
Perhaps the hostel could indicate to guests where is the nearest parking as I had to drive round and round the town in order to find a suitable carpark.

I did not stay at their hostal (sure they are worthy to staying) but came here only to have a good time listening to the best music and having some beer, eating tasty food. We only came here for lunch. We enjoyed the food very much, though we had difficult time communicating with the waitress even though they had an English menu. The prices are very affordable. The only negative thing is that there is only one person preparing all the dishes in the kitchen and we had to wait for almost an hour. There are also only 2 options for people with lactose intolerance: fish and chicken.

During my recent visit to CCA Shopping, I had the opportunity to explore one of Andorra's popular shopping destinations. CCA Shopping offers a wide range of stores, a convenient location, and a pleasant shopping experience overall.
One of the standout features of CCA Shopping is its extensive selection of stores. From international brands to local boutiques, there is something to suit every taste and budget. Whether you're looking for fashion, electronics, cosmetics, or home goods, CCA Shopping has you covered. The variety of stores ensures that shoppers have plenty of options to choose from, making it a one-stop destination for all their shopping needs.
The layout and design of the shopping center are well thought out, with spacious walkways and clear signage, making it easy to navigate. Beautiful place to join with kids. There is an easy route to take with them discovering the witches. There is a parking near by and also a cool bar near the restaurant where the attention was amazing. Very helpful! I highly recommend to pay a visit on your first day to check it out the activities and get informed about the weather conditions besides the best deals, especially if you are travelling with kids or dog. Friendly staffs!

The staff are super helpful and can tell you exactly what you need to know. Whether it’s tips for eating or hiking or public transport, they got it all. A special thanks to Emma who made sure we got everything we needed, and was so kind throughout.

Really friendly and personable staff.

The place to get good maps and explanations. There are also souvenirs or spirit drinks (cheap in Andorra) to buy.

At the same time they were really helpful and not. They gave us a lot of good suggestions, mainly because we were not with a car, and we needed to take the buses to go everywhere out of Andorra-la-Vella. They gave us a bus itinerary that didn’t run during the summer. They also gave us a timetable to certain bus itinerary that didn’t correspond at all to the real timetable. They were really kind and helpful though. Just should pay more attention with the buses itineraries and their timetables. Just complaining because we didn’t have much time in the country and that didn’t help us at all.

Completely unhelpful. 8 maps for 1 bus route and she had no idea how to answer any questions. The guy next to her kept rolling his eyes and shrugging his shoulders like me asking for transportation information was the craziest thing in the world at a visitor information center...

The woman in the office was only interested in selling tickets to Caldea Spa. Told her we had the dog with us and didn't come prepared for swimming or spas. She suggested we left the dog in a hotel which does dog sitting. Had to repeat that that wasn't in our plans. Asked her if dogs were allowed on local buses...she didn't know. She gave us a map, put a ring around la Caldea Spa place just incase we changed our minds and then we left. Hopeless!
Hotel Restaurant de l'Isard is a relaxed hotel with stunning mountain views and rooms that come with or without balconies. It offers a restaurant and cafe on the premises, making it convenient for guests to dine in. Parking can be tricky, especially when carrying bikes, but the receptionist named Senya was extremely helpful in finding a secure location within the hotel property to store them. The rooms are comfortable and some of them have an additional loft area which could accommodate children comfortably.
In the heart of the city. The hotel was very good, very comfortable beds, nice mountain view. The hotel has maybe 7,8(?)parking spaces (very tight parking) and it was full when we arrived but they offer a space right opposite, in the shopping mall parking (secure). Friendly staff and best breakfast! Big choice of food!!

Our room had only a very small window, but it was large enough, tidy and overall quite nice. Staff and location were great.

We stayed 3 times at the hotel. We liked it straightaway. Good location. Good adequate rooms pleasant decor all round. Pleasant at reception. However the second time we noticed that the breakfast stuff were rather abrupt and pressing us as they were putting everything away well before closing time. We were even told off by the main person for arriving late!!! Still we went back. That last time we had an issue with the parking we had reserved which meant stress instead of relaxation right from the start! Then the next morning we experienced again the grumpy breakfast manager and the almost rude other staff! No smiles just coming to the table to grab your empty plate! I even got told off for taking a picture by the window and by an empty table as by the time I finished guests needed the table and the breakfast manager was unpleasant about it! We will therefore not go back mainly because of the unpleasant breakfast experience!

We were traveling with our tandem bike on top of the car, which produced a challenge in finding a place to park. And, boy, was it a busy city! We eventually had to take the bike off the car and walk it to the hotel after my husband parked in a garage. The lady at reception was such a huge help! Her name is Senya (I'm sure I've spelled it incorrectly) and she found a great place in the hotel to store it. She was quite helpful with a couple other things, too.
Our room was fine, with a good view. It also would have been perfect if we'd had children as it had a loft area with a bed. Breakfast was really good. They actually had hot items (eggs, sausage, etc.) as well as cold. I would definitely stay there again.

My partner and I had a really nice stay at this hotel. The location is right at the heart of Andorra's capital city. It is close to a number of restaurants, shops, the tourism office and tourist spots! What we liked the most is the stunning mountain view right outside our room's window. Also, the EUR12,50 buffet breakfast they offer is worth every cents! We definitely recommend this!

Positives= clean, cheap, central location
Negatives= basic; soulless is what another person mentioned. Loud rooms from street noise, hard to control temp on heater - either freezing or an oven.
Do not expect an accomodating staff or warm welcome. Do not get a room that faces the main street or you will have no peace; goes without saying I guess. I requested a back room but was told there were none despite it not being high season and the hotel seeming to have 4 or 5 other families/couples that I saw during my stay. Front desk assured me it was quiet, especially at night. Ha - NO. Not on the 3rd floor at least. We had to open windows for fresh air and the street noise was something else. Even the side window in the bathroom. It was sometime after midnight, maybe 2am on a Sunday night/Monday morning before the cars quieted down. I ended up putting in ear plugs. In the AM there was street cleaning, etc. Cute and quaint looking hotel but definitely not peaceful, unfortunately. Good thing it was cheap. And you must reserve breakfast buffet a day in advance. Looked to be a good deal considering food in Andorra us relatively costly, but we didn't partake. Had a cappuccino next door at McDonald's and ventured up the road to La Fleca bakery by the Super U instead for a nice pain au chocolat.

It’s ok if you are willing to come shopping during all your vacations. There is not enough parking and it’s 19.50 euros per night, which is not fully explained. So keep in mind that is gonna be super messy and stressful to find a parking lot.
Also my room smelled really bad.
