Pantai Teluk Cempedak is a relaxed and picturesque beach that is perfect for walking and swimming. It boasts numerous restaurants and vendors in the vicinity. Although its nightlife can be busy, visitors are advised to adhere to safety protocols and explore less crowded areas. The main bay features fake grass that may disappoint some tourists, but the extreme left end of the beach offers a little-known bridge that leads to Second Bay.
One of the best beach to relax in Kuantan. Clean, safe & cool/windy. Lots of seating places. Can even rent the inflated sofa from the vendor at the beach.
Has few restaurants you can dine in, with the beach view as a bonus. From the posh Starbucks to the local tomyam/seafood restaurant.
Fancy for some gift? Lots of stalls and shoplots selling the keychain, name engraving, kites, toys and others are around.
Also a good place for exercise/jogging. But beware of the wild monkeys.
Parking lots are plenty. The nearest costs RM2.50 per entry while the one besides TC Uptown costs RM2 per entry.
Toilets are clean enough but require major repair/upgrade.
Best time to visit this place is from 6.30pm onwards.
Big applause to the local authority for maintaining this beach.
P/S: Bersyukurlah orang Kontan. Kat KL apa pantai pun tarak. Stress ja berlambak-lambak :)

Beautiful beach. A lovely place to chill and relax.
Downside: crowded at certain times, limited parking space

This beautiful beach is so peaceful, so windy, so relaxing. Can’t never forget my experience here. Would love to visit every weekend ❤️

Night life in Teluk Cempedak is probably too crowded, but hey, take care of SOP, cur to alley with lesser crowd, it will be alright. The Sand at the main bay is moved from somewhere else, fake grass. These are some of the small let down.
Please find times to visit this place in day time, and go to the extreme end on the left, you will find yourselves a bridge to cross to Second Bay. Not many visitors know of this area, so enjoy the quietness it offer.
But be careful when you see Monkeys lurking around the bridge, do not feed them and keep your things out of their sight.

🏖Nice and cleaned beach in Malaysia.
🌊The waves there were particularly strong during the northeast monsoon season, so swimming at your own risk.
However, there were some people who were surfing there.
🪁Since this place is windy, it would be great to fly a kite there. There were some stalls selling easy-to-fly kite there, and it was quite cheap (RM15 each) and really nice as well.
Just have chill and relax session at this place,
Just listening to the sounds of wave and birds,
Just have a great time sun bathing there,
Just enjoy the wind blowing upon your face.
This was a great place~!

Best sea view point for photographers.. Seem less photo effects when we take photos. Nice beach in Kuantan all parts.. Nearby have macd and kfc. Lot of shop's available for kids toys for swimming. The other part beach view we can go by the bridge. But the sad part is the bridge broken half of the way. So they closed for access. Please don't approach after the fencing. If anything happen cannot access emergency time. Lot of monkeys here.. Don't give any foods and don't approach animals rudely.. They have big groups 😂😂😂

Loved this beach - there are some food options available (Starbucks, mcd, and some more). Ample parking available. There is a boardwalk, shady too, we enjoyed the views from here. It can get quite hot during the day and there weren’t much people on the beach itself - could get crowded in the evenings. There are a lot of monkeys, a lot of them, but they keep to themselves and bother you only if you have food. Overall very good not to be missed if you are in the area.

Beautiful beach with a lot of eateries available. Be careful with monkeys as they might snatch away your foods.

This is the closest stretch of beach to Kuantan City Center and which is also why it had a good number of holiday makers when we were there just after lunchtime.
While one part of the beach is like a private stretch in front of the long-operating Hyatt Regency Resort, the other section is the one that’s open for the public and with the TC outposts of McDonald’s, Burger King, Richaimo, and Starbucks helping to quench thirst and fill up empty stomaches. The sand also looked inviting but as my son and I weren’t staying in the area and didn’t want to dirty the car, we did not walk on the beach itself.
There were many souvenir shops around the area, along with the established player called “Kedai Cenderamata Teluk Cempedak Sdn. Bhd.” in their own shop lot opposite, and my son decided to buy a “name band” for himself and his older brother, as souvenirs of this holiday in Kuantan!

Sungai Pandan Waterfall, located in Malaysia, is a picturesque natural attraction with a stunning waterfall and refreshing swimming pool. Visitors can purchase local food and souvenirs from nearby vendors. It is recommended to visit on weekdays, early mornings or near closing time as it gets extremely crowded. However, the management needs to improve visitor safety, particularly for male teens who enjoy diving off rocks.
Sungai Pandan Waterfalls (aka Panching waterfalls) is about 25 km from Kuantan Town, Pahang. It has a very spectacular view and it can been seen from far away. The beautiful cascading waterfalls is slightly light green in crystal colour when the sun shine on the clear water.
It is an ideal place for family, children & friend to relax & picnic over here.
The water was clean & cool. Children can swim at the lower end of stream & have fun on the sand. Adults can take a cool dip at the waterfalls area. Beware of the rocks, it could be very slippery & dangerous when you climb the waterfall. Watch the warning signs there as precious lives have been lost here before.
Making the environment clean & avoid the pollution is everyone responsibility ! We love our mother nature !
Please bring back all your garbage after your picnic, dating and gathering.

Short 5 mins drive from main road (as long no huge trucks blocking your way, place is being mined for sand n rocks.. sad)
Place is very clean, in someway though its nature but have been slightly tamed by humans with a poolshape water area.
The waterfall itself is so BEAUTIFUL and Majestic.

A beautiful waterfall near kuantan town. We went during weekday morning( puasa month) and it was very less crowded. Easy entrance and super easy hike. The water was very clean and clear, there was red tape at the main deep area as no swimming was allowed due to the depth at that time. But the others areas was good to swim. Recommended to visit in weekdays 👍🏼

2 April 2024 the lady at the entrance where terrible. Doesn't give any information about the place. I would have been nice to know lile like the waterfall are closed for swimming!!! She just asked us money without saying hello or something. She actually gave us the wrong price so we had to adjust the price.it would have been more polite to ask us where we are from.
Instead of that the waterfall are very pretty. The temperature are so perfect and refreshing. The parking are big so you should not struggle so much to park.
The toilets and showers where good and mostly clean

This waterfall is enormous and spectacular. Great place to calm your mind. Unfortunately, authorities need to maintain facilities, some of it not well maintained. Entrance fee as April 2023, was RM3 per head + RM3 (for parking). Outside of this area were some destroying nature activities such as stone mining & bauxite exploration. Hope it will not affect the nature beauty of this waterfall.

A nice stretch of boardwalk along the Kuantan River. Try to cover the Tanjung Api waterfront from also as it offers great photo taking opportunities.

As a regular customer who has been eating here since 6 years ago, I was surprised today when looking at the size of the chicken quarter that I had ordered ( breast part). Today was my first meal after months of not having meal here due to MCO. I think this has got nothing to do with the restaurant but perhaps Nando’s has changed the portion probably to cut cost. It is frustrating to find out they can no longer maintain the portion that was previously preserved for a long time. As a regular customer, today’s experience is the most unsatisfactory. If they would not be able to keep the portion as before, all I can say this is my last meal at Nando’s. It is certainly not worth the price that I paid for.

Attention to all inexperienced hikers, please take note of the ongoing major construction at 1.0km onwards in Hutan Lipur Bukit Pelindung. The pathway side is filled with iron rods and steels requiring vigilance as 4-wheeled cars/motorbikes passing through are more frequent than usual due to the construction. Ensure that your shoes/boots are durable as the road may turn slippery from mud/sand or recent wet weather conditions.
If you are into trail running or just want to spend the time with family, here is a good choice. Run uphill through the road or trail. There's lots of iconic insta worthy spots in the national reserve. I met a lot of beautiful creatures!! Will be posting more photos 😁

The most famous hiking trek in kuantan. It is about 5km from Kuantan town. You can either take Teluk Sisek road or Jalan Beserah and exit to Jalan Tengku Muhamad. The main trek is a 2km, 30 to 45 degree incline tarmac road leading to telecommunication towers.
There are more jungle trails on the right and left side of the road. From here you can also trek to Teluk Cempedak and it takes about 40 minutes.
There are various trails found here such the Tasik Trail, Trail 1380, Covid Trail, De Embassy Trail and a simple trail from Teluk Chempedak leading to a mini waterfall.
Bukit Pelindung comes alive especially on weekends and trekkers begin the tarmac walk as early 5.30 am.Night trekking is also gaining popularity among Kuantan folks in Bukit Pelindung.

The Sivan Temple, also known as Gua Charas Panching Kuantan, is a century-old religious site located about 26km north of Kuantan. The temple is situated in a limestone karst that rises above the surrounding palm plantations and features an abstract statue of the Hindu god Shiva. And there are super cute and friendly dogs/puppies at the carpark too that's definitely worth a mention too!

It's alright to make the trip here if you haven't seen such caves before. There's a parking warden to collect the parking fee with plenty of parking space (2rm for car), while entrance fee (2rm per pax) is dropped into a box after climbing a flight of stairs. The next series of stairs to the cave are straightforward to climb too (solid steps and railings). Total trip within was about 1h as it's not a very big cave to walk too long in.
There's a general advice to visit at 11am-12pm as there is a ray of sunlight that comes through a ceiling hole in the cave and shines upon the resting Buddha.
It's pretty empty for weekday so don't worry about crowds. Overall I would not reco a visit here if you are here for tourism and have been to other caves before - it's more of a place to pray for blessings tbh

Magnificent Lord Shiva temple inside enormous cave. Its easy to find the location using Google Maps. Once you park, you need roughly 10 minutes to climb the staircase to reach the entrance to the cave. It's take another 10 minutes to reach the inner side of the temple area. Currently the place well maintain with walkway pavement and lights. You can find incline sleeping Buddha at the end of the cave. You will feel calmness and cold air breeze, mesmerise with that. Recommend to wear sport shoe. Some small change for carpark and entrance contributions.

This is an mazing place of worship! It is one of the most beautiful masjids in the world with designs similar to ottoman masjids. Also the imam and muezzin have such a great voice, it’s an unforgettable experience to pray here. ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful Multifunctional mosque.
It has a dedicated wedding room, dining hall room, badminton table, taekwondo facility, and a beautiful indoor garden space. Amazing architecture.
I am told this is connected with the original Turkish Sultan Mosque. Would love to visit again. The hospitality of the members of the mosque is very humble and kind.

A comfortable ablution area, spacious parking, and a serene atmosphere within the mosque. Additionally, there is a designated rest area.

The mosque interior:
The mosque interior was nice and big with lot of good air ventilation but some defects were found where water dripping and pale paints.
The Ablution Area:
The Ablution area feels a little bit mossy and look quite old and a bit outdated.
The facilities:
The mosque offers wedding place such as Pelamin that is well decorated and beautiful. Not just that, I also found there is Table tennis table I sure that the table will be use when needed
Parking Space:
Parking space is a little bit limited when crowded

My visit to Masjid Sultan Ahmad Shah 1, also known as Masjid Negeri Pahang (Sultan Ahmad 1) in Kuantan, on the 5th of January, 2024, for the Friday prayer was an enriching and spiritually uplifting experience.
From the moment I arrived, the mosque's grandeur was captivating. The architectural brilliance of the minarets and domes adorned with intricate designs left a lasting impression. The serene ambiance as I stepped inside instilled a sense of calm and reverence.
The Friday prayer experience was truly fulfilling. The spacious prayer hall accommodated worshippers comfortably, fostering a sense of unity and community. The spiritual atmosphere was palpable, enhanced by the beautifully crafted interior that exuded a tranquil aura.
The sermon delivered during the Jumu'ah prayer was insightful, touching upon relevant aspects of faith and life, resonating with everyone present. The imam's recitation during the prayer was melodic and profound, adding to the spiritual connection felt by the congregation.
The facilities were well-maintained, and the staff exhibited warmth and hospitality, making the visit not only religiously fulfilling but also welcoming. The mosque's role as a cultural hub was evident, promoting inclusivity and understanding among diverse worshippers.
Overall, my visit to Masjid Sultan Ahmad Shah 1 was an unforgettable experience. It offered more than a place for worship; it provided a sanctuary for spiritual growth, community engagement, and cultural appreciation. I highly recommend visiting this mosque for anyone seeking a profound and meaningful religious experience in Kuantan.

A beautiful, clean and serene park for you to have a leisure jog with not so crowded condition. The park is full of huge trees and greeneries. There is small stream with crystal clear water where you can see small fishes swimming freely. Sometimes you can encounter monitor lizard in the streams as well. Besides, a big pond is located in the middle of the park surrounded by jogging tracks. Ample of parking spaces to park your car. Toilets can be found there as well.

Nostalgic. Brings old memories back when we were young, still single, a lot of freedom and space.
Ok back to this place. We commonly hang out here and dine in outdoors. A light breeze from beside the sea gives a cool relaxing experience.
There was also a house where my friend lived there with his father that I usually hang out. We really had tons of fun at that time.

A beautiful public park to enjoy fresh air, relax, exercise, jog, etc. Relatively clean however there is ‘pasar malam’ every Sunday and single use plastics are commonly used. It’s a shame when some irresponsible people leave their trash behind after picnic.
There is Alam Flora office at the park where we can send the unwanted items for recycling.

Very popular recreational park in Kuantan. Bustling with all kinds of activities... aerobics, jogging, walking, strolling and workouts at all the workout stations. Many family outings too.
A loop is about 1+km with no alleviation whatsoever. Easy even for old folks.
Been here since childhood. A bit of makeover recently.
Ample packing.
Great place to spend a weekend morning.

Some large Malaysia lizards are present along with many 🐒 monkeys looking for food.

Gelora Park is a comfortable and peaceful dining spot. It is famous for food such as chicken rice, rojak, and ABC (iced dessert). It is not too close to the sea, but the sea breeze can still be felt. The parking and dining areas are spacious. It is a must-visit food spot when in Kuantan

Beautiful lake park, very peaceful near the sea. Recommended for people who like to do outdoor sports and casual walks, good place for sweating. There is renovation going on there. There are public toilets near the car park. Beware of thieves in the parking lot here, theft happens a lot. My friend once encountered this situation. Monkeys and Asian water monitor can also be seen here. Gym equipment is strategically placed around the park, making it easy for anyone to exercise. I had a lot of fun and cosiness there. Sit by the lake and feel the breeze🍃
