Nice place for a walk or hike. On a clear day you can see for miles like Manchester city centre in the distance (see video).
There are a few wooden bench's so you can sit down and enjoy the view. In the summer all the insects are flying about because the flowers are everywhere.
A really peaceful place so I would fully recommend.

Lovely little place to spend an hour just walking the humans. There are many paths to take, some easy and others more suited to us of the four legs persuasion. I definitely think I'll be taking my humans here again! Coffee and toasted sandwiches at the café are an ideal end to the walk!

Nice place plenty of free parking and a cafe.
The walk isn't much really it says a hour on the long walk but didn't take us that long, it's mainly all concrete paths you can go off path slightly but only adds a little extra.
Nice views at the top though.

Great place to take the dog's as it's so open and spacious. My daughter and I enjoyed the scenic walks. Didn't use the cafe as we had a picnic but it looked decent and was pretty busy. Public toilets, children's playground and free parking. Lots of seating and bins scattered around the park. We passed lots of people pushing prams, using wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Definitely recommend and will continue to visit regularly.

I didn’t think I’d like it. For a family to go out for a walk. Meet some nice people along the way. It’s great. You have different walk routes. Green and blue. We took the Green Route which is slightly a little less of a walk but great for kids etc.
I would go again. There is also a clear view of some of Oldham which is beautiful on a sunny day.

Gorgeous country park. Had the most beautiful autumn walk here.
It's a good walk up to the very top of the hill, approx 30 minutes, but it's well worth it for the stunning views. It's a kid-friendly walk too with a proper path and steps up to the very top. Also, there's a great play park next to the cafe.
All in all, beautiful. What a gem this place is.

The walk was very muddy in place so be prepared to were suitable footwear. We came here to look for Munzees and we’re able to find 6 without having to venture of the path to much. Was lovely to see people using the park to walk their dogs and there was plenty of wildlife to observe. We did not encounter any rubbish whilst we were walking which was refreshing

Visited today as a family. Play areas were very good, there's a massive slide and two sand digging machines. Massive assault course made of wood, rope and metal. Giant park, and hill- climbers' heaven. my son and nephew climbed four hills. Although great, a lot of poo and quite muddy on the day we came. Good parking. The play equipment is outstanding and the water goes to a little stream. Trees are ok for climbing and rocks were nicely spaced to adventure. Many places to look at and all are pretty. Lovely four hours spent there. Four stars.😊
Lancaster Park & Animal Farm is a family-friendly petting farm with farm animals to pet and feed. There are activities and games for kids to enjoy, as well as a nature walk.
We visited today for Halloween. The children really enjoyed their day. The decorations were amazing and the pumpkin patch was big, full and decorated fantastically. Was lovely to still see all the animals out and getting to feed them. The staff were so polite and helpful and it added to the day how welcome they made you feel. Would highly recommend.

Family friendly, little activities and rides allowed my 3yo to engage more. The snacks aren’t overly priced and even tastes decent! Just one star down as I think it could do with a little bit more “tidying”/ maintenance (some areas looked as though rubbish were dumped like buckets and tyres) and some unused animal pens were filling with weeds, dandelions etc. but other than that it’s pretty decent.

Located in Chadderton you wouldn’t expect to find this farm. Car park is small so get there early or be expected to find some street parking and walk. At the time of writing the farm is a cash only venue. £6.50 for children and adults above 1 year old. They have one good vendor selling hot dogs do bring food with you. As you enter the park you find pens with chickens and small animals. There’s also a kids go kart and digger game. You’ll then enter a large open space with a pedestrian walk way round. Along this work are the odd dinosaur figure. There’s more birds, horses, pigs and sheep. Half way round this walk is a large park. Mainly aimed at kids 6years plus. There’s a vendor selling ice creams £3 each. Overall the parks worth a visit however currently (April 2023) I felt there weren’t enough animals.

I'm a bit surprised to see so many positive reviews for this place. We visited on a March weekend and felt it was a place that needed some investment and much better attractions and facilities. There are many better equivalent farm/play places in the Manchester area.
The farm has some small animals, chickens, geese etc. along with goats and ponies. There were some pigs just visible at the back of their pens and horses. Some of the enclosures were essentially patches of mud. There are a couple of small play diggers (pay extra to use), and a slightly unusual pirate-themed target shooting game.
The play areas were small and really not worth paying to visit. It's all cash only (?!) and at £30 for 2 adults and 2 children for entry alone, really not worth it in my opinion.

What a great place to visit for adults and children, there is so much to do and see. The staff are great with the animals and visitors during the petting sessions. Great picnic and play areas. Everything is reasonably priced so it's affordable for families. The £2 per person Caterpillar ride was great fun. We stayed for 5 hours and would have stayed longer if it hadn't have been closing. I would have given this place 10 stars if I could! Highly recommended!

A fun, little day out. We gave a tortoise a bath (only on Wednesday & Saturday) fed the horses, sheep, goats, alpaca. There's dinosaurs dotted around which we enjoyed looking for, two separate park areas and lots of picnic benches. The animal petting was cute and the ranger was really good giving us lots of information (I can't remember her name). Make sure you take some cash for the animal feed, diggers, mini bikes and caterpillar ride, the children enjoyed the caterpillar ride.

what an amazing experience we had coming here yesterday! my toddler absolutely loved it 🥹❤️ your staff are brilliant, so very welcoming! The weather wasn’t the best but we still had an amazing time and visited all the animals. One of your elf’s gave my son a carrot to feed a horse to which made his day!
I also accidentally left my car lights on and drained my car battery while visiting - this wasn’t a problem at all because a member of staff helped me out straight away and made sure everything was good to go before we left! - Thank you so much!
We will definitely be returning ♥️🎄🐄

Lovely space, lots of animals to see, there's 2 play areas, plenty of picnic tables, and has dinosaurs and farm animals dotted around for the kids to find! You can buy animal feed bags for £1.00. There's a few things for the kids like the caterpillar which is driven around by a member of staff, there's diggers to dig up sand too. 😀 There's ice cream that can be bought and some snacks and drinks as well. Had a really good few hours out with the grandchildren. Price is quite cheap as well, it costs £6 for everyone over the age of 1, and has a good walking trail 👣 so you can see more animals.

Great place to visit with my 4 grandkids, it has a walk around fields with the Rochdale canal running g at one side which is about a mile quite hilly which may be a problem for someone with walking issues like myself , there's horses , goats and pigs as well as various birds , you can buy feed as you go in , there is two play area s , one at beginning and one half way which has picnic area as well as ice cream and drink stand , there's dinosaur statues around as well as a some animal ones,
There's also some small diggers £1 a go , and an oil drum caterpillar ride (not sure the price ) there's also a petting area at the entrance /exit with small kids quad bike ride course, and a little fairground style shooting target . There's also a range of caged birds in this area as well as a place to get drinks .
For 4 adults and 6 children it cost £65.
We went home with 6 worn out , dirty happy children just as it should be .

Spent Good Friday afternoon here and had good time with my toddler.
There's a free car park attached (which was full when I arrived) and there's plenty of street parking within a 5 minute walking distance.
It's cash on in person but I think you can book in advance online and pay by card.
Its quite misleading when you walk in, I thought it was going to be really small but it was actually quite large. Theres chickens and rabbits too see and pet then you can walk round and see and feed horses, ponies, goats, alpacas and there's a park half way round too.
It's got a small cafe that sells hot dogs and drinks and there's an ice cream hut at the park. There's loads of picnic tables scattered around so pack food before you go.
There's some other activities to do which come at a small cost Inc diggers and a ride round the bumpy field which was fun for the little ones.

Me and my mum took my two children to the Christmas experience this weekend. We had the best time and was made to feel extremely welcome. We enjoyed every second. Each step of the experience was well organised, looked incredible and magical. It was fun for the children but also fun for the adults! The Grinch made us laugh so much I definitely want to book again next year.
My daughter has Autism and all the staff were incredibly understanding, this was her first ever visit to Santa and she smiled ear to ear the whole way round.

A lovely experience! Extra friendly staff. We visited for the Christmas experience with my 5 month year old. You start off the experience having a story with Ms Claus, then write your own letter to Santa. You continue to visit Father Christmas and receive a toy shop coin. You trade the coin for a toy of your choice in the toy shop and then finish the experience with the grinch. The weather was gloomy but it didn't dampen any spirits.

Great little gem of a place to bring the children or in my case grandchildren. Up close to the animals and a lovely walk too around the farm with little play areas and brew stops dotted here and there.
Can be a little muddy in places so take some appropriate footwear after all it is a farm. £7.50 each to get in , babies under 1 go free. Cash only!

The Oldham Coliseum Theatre is a beautifully restored historic building that dates back to 1885. It offers a variety of entertainment options, including comedy, drama, dance, opera, music and pantomime. The staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating to families with children. Despite not being a large theater, it is quaint and comfortable with plenty of leg room in the seats. The shows are suitable for younger audiences as well.
Really lovely little theatre. Staff were absolutely fabulousm. We were with a small group of kids and they were so good at dealing with the kids. The show was great and enjoyed thoroughly by all. We even found free parking outside and also lots of nice food places.

Wow, what a fabulous theatre this is! I feel gutted that I only visited for the first time last night to see Simon Brodkin (who was amazing) and now it's closing down in just a couple of weeks. A very warm and intimate theatre.
This is clearly a very special place with such a storied history, it's a credit to Oldham and it's a crying shame Oldham council and Arts Council England are just letting it slip out of existence now. It should be saved!

Oldham Coliseum Theatre is a theatre in Oldham, Greater Manchester, England.
Found on Fairbottom Street in the town centre, Oldham's Coliseum is a repertory theatre which celebrated its centenary in 1987. Its interior makes it a great period classic in theatre terms, and has seen the likes of local performers such as Eric Sykes, Charlie Chaplin, Dame Thora Hird and Dora Bryan tread its boards.
The history of the theatre can be traced back to 1885. It was originally intended to be a permanent home for the Great American Circus, then based on Henshaw Street, but the owner of the circus, Mr Myers, was unable to pay for the completed work. Following a court case, ownership of the building was granted to Thomas Whittaker, the carpenter who had performed the work. Whittaker decided to open the Coliseum as a theatre and the first production was called Culver's Circus.[citation needed] Other notable owners of the theatre include Paul Yates, founder and owner of Yates' Wine Lodge.
During its time, the Coliseum has opened and closed doors on numerous occasions. In 1911, in a bid to compete with the rising trend of cinema, the theatre began to show silent films in between productions. In 1918, it was bought by Dobie's Electric Theatres. In 1931 it was converted into a cinema, but its life a cinema was short-lived as the recession of 1932 hit hard and it closed its doors within 12 months. It stood empty until 1939 when a local group called The Oldham Playgoers Club were successful enough to sign the lease on the building and stage their own productions.
The theatre is said to be one of the most haunted theatres in Britain. In 1947, actor Harold Norman, who was non-suspicious and refused to follow theatrical tradition when it came to The Scottish Play, died after being stabbed by a sword whilst playing the title character in Macbeth.
The theatre was features in a 2004 episode of the TV series Most Haunted.
The theatre was renovated in 2012.[

It was OK, I won't be back until Oldham has sorted out its roads and diversions and built the larger modern theatre with an accessible car park. Been there, seen the historic building so done that. I was impressed by the audience - great folk warmly appreciating the performance so sorry there's going to be a hiatus.

44 yrs living in Oldham, and visited for the 1st time. Watched Robin Hood with wife and kids. Arrived early, and visited the very reasonably priced bar, with their quick and polite staff. All staff throughout were extremely pleasant. Seats were comfortable As with all kids, toilet trips were made in abundance, and there were plenty to choose from wherever we were at. On entry and exit via the main doors with steps, I did notice that staff were offering elderly an alternative set of doors that didn't require then using steps. All in all a very pleasant experience. Will be looking at visiting again soon.

I had never been to this theatre before but was very pleasantly surprised. Lovely decor and facilities, really friendly and helpful staff. I went to see Don't Turn My Life Into a Musical, the young actor's and cast were superb. I don't usually like musicals but this was slick, polished, great imagery and lesson's in life were the foundation of this production. I must recommend the Oldham Theatre Workshop to my family and friends for it's positive contribution to the theatre and young people's development.

Gallery Oldham is a public art collection that features classic and contemporary paintings, ceramics, and museum articles. It also showcases community works and displays on history. The gallery hosts exhibitions for local artists on a regular basis to encourage their creativity. While the location can be challenging to navigate due to traffic in Oldham, there is free parking available for visitors. The gallery is easily accessible via metrolink as well. There is also a library within the same building for those interested in exploring further.
I took my grandchildren in to have a look around the exhibitions. We were told that there was a room where the children could go and paint an L.S.Lowry collage. My grandchildren loved it. We then went into the children's library. There's several areas of seating and even a coat rack to hang your coats and bags. They had a little treasure hunt there and again, really enjoyed looking around for the pictures. All the staff in every area was really friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back. We'd definitely recommend going either as a family or even for some quiet time, looking around alone. A very pleasant place to be.

Exhibitions Visited
Oldham Stories
This was a great Exhibition that showcased interesting items giving a historical insight from the past to the present. This includes a vast array of objects from various collections at the Gallery. This included the National History, Social History and Art collections.
Some of the items that were on display included The Rothwell Car, Jewellery, and specimens of taxidermy. These items were interesting to look at with a great story behind each object.
The Natural History Collection was beautiful. It was lovely to see a large range of habitats that can be found in Oldham. This included owls, foxes, badgers, birds and swans.
Finding the Funny: Sam Fitton
Sam Fitton started his career in the textile mills before becoming a skilled illustrator, poet, dialect, writer and performer.
This Exhibition was engaging as you saw Sam’s various works from cartoons that he drew in the newspaper The Cotton New Times.
It also brought nostalgia in the adverts that he did for famous brands including Macintosh Toffees and other products. It also gives an outlook on how he used different dialects in his writing. His art work is also thought provoking in highlighting the issues of mill workers.
This Exhibition was brilliant showing how Sam used different art means in order to earn a living. Inspiring.
The interactive element of this Exhibition which is the badge making for a mill worker was fun, educational and made you think out of the box.

Gallery Oldham has a café however it is currently temporarily closed. However there are a few cafes nearby that you can go to after your visit.
There are toilets on the premises.

What was good about Gallery Oldham?
There is a great variety of objects that are full of history.
Each Exhibition is engaging and is full of beautiful artwork that is beautiful.
There are some good interactive activities to enhance your visit
What could have been improved at Gallery Oldham?
There could have been some background music
Some of the habitats and art works did not have good descriptions so more detailed ones would be helpful.

You can find the a good collection of art 🎨 classic and contemporary painting, ceramic and some museum articles. The Gallary hold exhibitions for local artists some regular and some special. Which encourages local artists when these events are done. To get to it is a bit not easy because the traffic in Oldham and especially in that area is not easy to negotiate whoever there is a free parking 🅿 there for enough time to explore it. The metrolink is not far from it. If have time you can check the library which is in the same building

Both a gallery and library, this place has been a staple in the town of Oldham for as long as I can remember. The library has a good spot to take little kids to read, it also occasionally offers events to do here.
The gallery is a good place to learn about the history of the town as well as offering actual art to view. There is also a lovely bit about bees with a sofa and a small table full of things for kids to do to learn about bees as well as an actual bee hive on the landing (outside).

Small but nice to have a real gallery in Oldham. They do lots of community displays which is good. Great views from here also.

It's a very interesting building. It is clean, airy, and modern. The gallery is on the upper floor, and once found is easy to navigate. Once found!
The art on display is relevant and well selected. Visitors can expect to see something of interest to them personally.
When I visited, I was frustrated by two things. Poor signage, and the cafe seemed to be closed to the public (the only notice was a hand written note on the door).
I would not want to put anyone off visiting Gallery Oldham, but hand-on-heart I cannot recommend it either.

What better place to be on a miserable day. The museum offers more than just the history to the town called Oldham.
The Saddleworth Museum & Gallery is a charming, compact museum with four floors of exhibits. Admission is affordably priced at just 3 pounds per person. The staff are welcoming and attentive, providing helpful assistance to visitors. There is an abundance of information and artifacts to explore, making it a worthwhile destination. Children can enjoy dressing up in costumes provided by the museum, while a shop and toilets are conveniently located on the ground floor for paying patrons.
My wife and I decided to make a visit to this lovely little museum spread over 4 floors, and it cost us just 3 pounds each to get in great price, and the wonderful staff are so helpful and very welcoming . there is so much to read and see . well worth a visit they have costume for children to dress up in . they have a little shop and toilets for paying customers on the ground floor. So next time you're in Saddleworth / Uppermill, pay them a visit, and you will not be disappointed

This is an absolute treasure of a museum situated in the village of Upper Mill. The museum delivers an informative and interesting social history of the area of Saddleworth right through from The Prehistoric era to the 20th Century. The museum has a treasure of great exhibits such as The Austin Car, Looms, Motorbikes and Rushcarts. The interesting areas of note are The Milling History and The Life of Farmers in the areas as it gives an idea of how hard life was at times and also the Milling industry is what gave the area its identity and notereity. There are two galleries upstairs in the place which talk about the history of Saddleworth in particular in the upstairs gallery you can see a working loom and also the inside of a Cottage in the local area showing the kitchen and dining room giving you an idea of what life was like for people living there. All the galleries are laid out in a very easy to understand and the information on display is very informative without being overloaded making it more interesting about the history of the Saddleworth area. There is an Art Gallery which houses some very interesting art, which is great to view. The admission fee into the museum is £3, which is extremely reasonable and an absolute bargain for a gem of a museum. There is a gift shop at the museum selling a lovely range of souvenirs at reasonable prices. Overall this is a gem of a museum and a thoroughly great place to visit and learn about the history of Saddleworth.

Great local history museum in the centre of Uppermill. Although there are only two galleries downstairs and one up you get a very condensed history of the area in the space that is available. Your only going to be spending around an hour in here but it's well worth a visit. The only downside I found was as there is a charge to enter the museum this doesn't seem to be easy to find out much it will cost from the website and it didn't seem to be posted on the door or at the desk where you pay. This seems to be the standard with most museums now (even free ones seem not to state that it's free on the homepage most of the time). It's £3 adult & £2 concessionary and I believe that do a family ticket for about £6 so the cost is only nominal. Overall this is a great place visit with very helpful staff and fully accessible to the disabled on all levels.

Interesting museum on the history of the area. Industrial, agricultural and social. Sections on prehistory, geology, manufacturing. Well presented with good informative displays. We spent just over a hour there.
Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre is a covered mall that boasts two department stores, various high-street fashion and lifestyle brands, and food outlets. It is a typical town centre shopping destination where one can find everything they need in one place. Other than the shops inside Spindles, there are other nearby shops and marketplaces to cater for any unmet needs.
Town square shopping center in Oldham looks a great and vintage style place with many different stores around. I visited during the new year and rainy day and had good experience. It includes many famous stores as well as Primark nearby. It is a must place to visit if you are around Oldham area.

It’s so sad to see how the Spindles has turned out. Being nostalgic tonight and not living in Oldham anymore, and looking at the recent photos of most shops closed, just shows the corruption and greed on Oldham Council. Shame on you. Many years ago, you could have put a stop to greedy landlords rent rises keeping these shops in businesses and the shopping centre bustling. You saw the profits on business rate increases and tax profits rather than looking at the longevity of the profits. People being in business longer makes you more money in the long run.
When I was a kid it was always busy and couldn’t wait to go to town, now I wouldn’t want to take my kids here. I hope you treat the market stalls better than you’ve treated past businesses.

Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre offers a well-rounded and satisfying shopping experience. Notably, the centre hosts a Costa for coffee lovers, a Boots pharmacy for healthcare and beauty essentials, and a Bodycare shop that stands out for its affordable products.
For fans of Asian fashion, the shopping centre excels in both price and quality. I’ve found some great deals and beautiful pieces that don’t compromise on quality.
It’s exciting to see that the centre is currently expanding, which is a positive indication of its success and future offerings. On the practical side, restrooms are accessible, including a separate facility for the disabled and baby-changing on one of the parking floors. However, be prepared for a bit of a wait as the toilets can get crowded on weekdays due to limited cubicles.
Overall, whether you’re in for a quick coffee break or a full day of shopping, Spindles Town Square has something for everyone and seems to be on an upward trajectory.

A rather tired shopping mall in Oldham that seems to be more useful as a cut-through from the tram stop to the high street than as a shopping centre in its own right. Other than an excellent and very large Boots chemist store, there is little incentive to wander around, especially as half of it seems unoccupied or under redevelopment at the moment. Not one of Oldham’s finest attractions…
Paul Harper — Google review
I could waste time waxing lyrical about how it is not looking like it used to but times change and the centre HAS TO if it's going to stay relevant to shoppers' needs today.
Sure there are definitely some store types missing, but other places are only a bus/tram ride away to fill that gap. If Oldham fills the gap as part of its regeneration then I can't see much reason for going elsewhere for shopping. It's not too big a place to shop in, nor is it too small. It's just right.

Went to get the other half's eyebrows done and phone sorted, so didn't necessarily go for my own needs.
It is a typical town centre shopping mall but there's pretty much everything you need in and around one place. If you can't get it in Spindles itself, you can get it in shops (& Marketplace) nearby.

Nice little shopping centre. Its always sad how there are so many empty shops as the online market grows, looks although there is still some on going renovation going on which is positive to see. Look up when your in the shopping centre the stained glassed windows are quite beautiful. Got a bit confused in the carpark but this was largely due to the fact that they all seem to have their own way of doing things easy enough if you've been once already. Worth a visit if your in the area !

The only reason I gave it a 3 is that there is a lot of building work going on. This affects the Christmas displays, IE: no tree (yet). Also, it affects the passage of people. But, apart from that, a really busy place and worth a visit

I took my mum to a mothers day event at George Street Chapel and couldn't believe how beautiful it was. It's such a stunning little venue I couldn't believe it was on the doorstep. Such a great little secret. The afternoon tea was incredible, the staff were lovely and it was a great price. I cant wait to attend another event here.

Superb venue ran by Age uk Oldham for hire - suitable for weddings, funerals, parties, training events & conferences. This listed chapel has been carefully renovated whilst retaining it's original character including family pews, organ, pulpit & gallery. It has the addition of a licensed bar, catering facilities, lift and modern toilets.
Highly recommended

Excellent venue. We hired this for my Mum's wake. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the food is excellent, the facilities are great, the ambience is great, and the disability access similarly. Highly recommended.

Interesting venue for small scale celebration (a 40th wedding anniversary in our case). Good Lancashire food. Still has much of existing chapel furnishings which lend unique character. I wonder what the original chapel goers would have thought about the bar downstairs!

The Millgate Arts Centre is a truly impressive venue that leaves visitors in awe. The performance by Rosemary Ashe and Paul Knight was absolutely fantastic. Located near Oldham, this hidden gem of a theatre offers an array of amazing shows, both local and visiting productions. The staff and volunteers are friendly, passionate, and dedicated to ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted with charming decor and a wonderful ambiance.
A hidden gem in the local area. A beautiful theatre with some amazing shows, both internal and visiting productions, with a dedicated team of people. Show then some support and see one of the varied shows there... You won't regret it!

Blown away by the whole evening! Fabulous performance by Rosemary Ashe & Paul Knight. This was our first visit to this gorgeous venue. Unassuming, yet charming, from the outside. But, as soon as we stepped through the door, we were overwhelmed with the venue, decor, ambience and, most importantly, the incredible, friendly & passionate staff & volunteers! Thank you 🙏

What a brilliant little theatre! For such a boutique building, the theatre is fantastic, the bar is positively spacious and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. What's also very apparent is the strong community spirit - you really feel that there is a lot of local support and love for the Company here and for the venue itself. The only tiny niggle is: parking is a bit limited. But you'll soon forget about that when you're being entertained inside! Highly recommended.

Ann "Annie" Kenney (13 September 1879 – 9 July 1953) was an English working-class suffragette and socialist feminist who became a leading figure in the Women's Social and Political Union. She co-founded its first branch in London with Minnie Baldock. Kenney attracted the attention of the press and public in 1905 when she and Christabel Pankhurst were imprisoned for several days for assault and obstruction, after heckling Sir Edward Grey at a Liberal rally in Manchester on the issue of votes for women. The incident is credited with inaugurating a new phase in the struggle for women's suffrage in the UK, with the adoption of militant tactics. Annie had friendships with Emmeline Pethick-Lawrence, Baroness Pethick-Lawrence, Mary Blathwayt, Clara Codd, Adela Pankhurst and Christabel Pankhurst.

Boundary Park is a football stadium that serves as the home ground for Oldham Athletic. The venue includes an on-site shop and ticket office. The stadium has two stands that look modern, while the others have aged over time. If these stands are modernized, it will make for an impressive venue. The atmosphere during matches is great and the staff and stewards are friendly. Fans can purchase tickets online or at the ticket office before entering the stadium to watch Oldham play their matches.
First time ever at Latics, great time good draw.

Watch Oldham v Barrow decent ground, had a pie, and a bovril, programme was £3 very cheap.
I felt very safe even when the Oldham fans invaded the pitch, stewards and Police did a great job protecting the away fans.
Result was 0-3 well deserved great afternoon out, would definitely go back.

Our team of 'minnows' were warmly welcomed by the staff at Oldham. A great bunch of lads and lasses ..
And their players were very accommodating, as they let Hendon FC walk away with a FA TROPHY victory

The overall experience was very good, the football from Oldham Athletic not so. On a day where the club have sold their tickets for £1 in order to recognise the achievement of their owner rowing across the Atlantic in aid of alzheimers, however the team didn't appear to have got the message of what an achievement this was and were quite FRANKly dire! The staff at the ground did a very good job in making sure it all went smoothly despite the attendance being roughly 3 times the average attendance! A lick of paint needed at the end of season but these grounds have such a charm!

Poor facilities for away fans. The stand was ok apart from the pillars, but the toilets, good and drink were woeful and ancient. The coach parking was a joke, being turned away from the coach parking area when 50m from it
Colin Nicoll — Google review
The actual stadium and parking are excellent......just be mindful if its a cash only gate!
Its a long hike to a cash machine.......more our problem than anything Boundary Park can control.
Inside is spotless, decent facilities and great view of the pitch.
