(Translated by Google) We spent 7 days in this charming bed and breakfast. The place is quiet despite a group of French women who are not very silent around the swimming pool on sunny afternoons. The place is secure, not far from the surrounding towns and villages to visit. The exteriors are very pretty. The deckchairs around the swimming pool are pleasant.
The buffet breakfast is also very appreciable (homemade cakes, pastries, bread, artisanal jams, fruit, cheese, cold meats, fresh fruit juice, fresh eggs from their chickens). We enjoyed having breakfast in this veranda flowered with magnificent bougainvillea. Our little girl loved the presence of many little cats and chickens.
The accommodation (in a dwelling other than a trulli) was spacious enough for three. Quite functional. On the other hand, the accommodation is a little damp (bring socks or slippers) but fortunately the heating was on. Another small downside: the wall-mounted hair dryer deserves to be changed because it takes too long to dry.
Waste sorting is mandatory.
Yoga and Swedish massages are offered but we did not try them. We will come back with pleasure.

- Immediately upon arrival, the peace and quiet, the beautiful, well-kept and large garden made us very relaxed after a few strenuous days.
- Our hosts were also very helpful and friendly. You could immediately tell that they really enjoyed working with the guests. The tips (e.g. beach) were also very good.
- The large pool was very refreshing for the whole family.
- Our children loved the little kittens and the tree house and would have liked to stay longer.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for the relaxing and very successful days.

I have noticed the presence of many foreign owners who probably arrive in this splendid valley and fall in love with the place. I recommend you visit it and appreciate the typical cuisine which allows the visitor not only to have lunch with seasonal products, very fresh or homemade, but also, where equipped, to stay overnight in the typical trulli or splendidly renovated structures which were used in the past. like stables or similar.
In short, they are not five-star resorts but they allow you to have an experience and direct contact with nature and above all with peace and tranquility, which are really difficult to find in your daily routine.

A most impressive church. This huge building with impressive steps is neatly hidden along the thin streets and winding alleyways. We were lucky enough to witness a christening with all attending dressed perfectly on a very hot day. The front of this building is incredibly tall and sits imposingly over the small square in front. L'Acropoli di Puglia olive oil Mill - Martina Franca
L'Acropoli di Puglia is an olive oil manufacturer located in Martina Franca, which is easily accessible from Lecce via a scenic route that includes a stop at Ostuni. The family-run business has been passed down for generations and offers visitors the opportunity to taste four different types of olive oil while learning about the production process using various techniques including cold press. Additionally, guests can sample grape reductions for use in food dressing.
Friendly, helpful, multilingual personnel.
Owner is the 4th generation of this local, organic-sustainable family owned virgin olive oil producing company.
The tastes and quality of Puglia are upfront in L'Acropoli di Puglia. Wonderful!

We decided to go to this manufactory on a recommendation. We had never visited such places before. We arrived at the address, but it turned out that the manufactory wouldn't open for another half an hour... but the owner of the manufactory noticed us and kindly invited us in. He explained and showed us about the production and gave us a tasting of the oils, balsamic sauces and wines. The service of sending the oils by parcel was very convenient. We bought several sets and the owner sent them to us by parcel to London. And we continued our journey through Puglia.

Vincenzo responded to our emails and made sure we had safe parking. This is a family led place and Vincenzo is 4th generation. It was one of the best experiences of visiting Puglia. We tasted the 4 varieties and were schooled on the techniques. It didn't cost a penny. We also tasked some amazing grape reductions for use with food dressing. The cold press and other techniques were enlightening. Must take your kids here and let them enjoy the art of food from a young age. You can also buy some wine from the family farm. Made of local stone, it has a square plan and rises on four levels.
The ground floor is delimited at the corners by columns, and on the facade there is a sundial with the latitude of the city.
The first floor, delimited by pilasters, has a balcony door with a broken gable.
The second floor, delimited by pilasters with capitals, is characterized by the clock whose dial is set in a stone frame.
Finally, the last level is characterized by the turret with four large single-lancet windows on which stands an iron block that supports the two bells that strike the hours and quarters.
The Tower, just over 10 meters high, is integrated with the adjacent University Building thanks to the stone stringcourses that divide the façade.

A small chest that contains a baroque style altar on which a stone statue of the Madonna with child is placed. In one corner there is a bronze bell from the same period. An upper balcony houses an organ and the entire ceiling is frescoed. It is generally open to the public and there is no entrance fee. It is highly recommended to visit it.
