Ultimate Snowsports Ski School offers exceptional ski lessons in the Alps, with skilled instructors who provide expert guidance to help skiers improve their technique and confidence. Private lessons are available for all types of terrain, including crud, moguls, and off-piste areas. The instructors go above and beyond to find the best snow conditions and offer useful tips that leave skiers feeling more confident after just a few hours of instruction.
This is the 3rd time we have used Ultimate Snowsports and in part the quality of the lessons is what has persuaded us to come back to Tignes for several years on the run. This year our 3 teenagers had great fun exploring the mountain with Tom while for the 3rd year running my husband and myself had a couple of excellent lessons with Mike who is as always extremely patient while gently pushing us out of our comfort zone and improving our technique. They are without a doubt the best ski lesson company we have found over the years of different resorts. Thank you Ultimate, we hope to see you next year.

Probably the best lesson I've had in the Alps. In a few private lessons with Tom, he helped to improve my confidence and technique in all types of terrain (crud, moguls, off-piste) and even got me landing spins. Highly recommend!

We had the best time with our instructor Mike! He was very patient, immediately understood what we wanted to achieve and accommodated our different levels of experience. We both felt that we made significant improvements and had an overwhelmingly positive experience. We couldn't recommend more and hope to return next year!

Simply Superb
I booked Ultimate in 2021 during the pandemic based on the reviews here and could not have been more happy that I did - they were superb throughout. Matt was responsive and helpful all the way through the process, even when various government restrictions meant that it was a distinct possibility that we wouldn’t be allowed to travel. Matt kept in regular contact throughout and was happy to offer a Covid policy refund when it looked like we wouldn’t be able to go (thankfully it wasn’t needed in the end).
I booked 3 hour private snowboard lessons with James over 10 days for my two young sons (8 & 7 years old), both of who had minimal experience of snowboarding (just a few hours in UK snowdomes) and could not have been happier with the result. James was professional, punctual, calm, friendly and encouraging throughout, and had them both carving happily down red runs in both Val d’Isere and Tignes within a couple of days. James emphasized safety and control on their boards whilst still making all their lessons an enormous amount of fun - both had done skiing lessons with other schools before and not had even close to the amount of enthusiasm for their lessons that they had with James. It also meant that they were both able to come snowboarding with my wife and I easily in the afternoons as well.
Massive thanks to both James and Matt for helping to make it such a fun and smooth holiday for all of us.
I’m not one to normally write reviews, but this was fully deserved. Don’t hesitate, book them now - you won’t regret it.

I found these guys by accident back in 2017 and used them for some one to one pre season instruction for my 6 year old. So 7 years on my little boy has grown up with Tom and Mike, he’s skied with them every year since bar one and his skiing is amazing now, it’s all down to Tom and Mike. The instruction is second to none, they combine all of the great tips to keep them improving but most importantly they have a laugh and keep it fun. They are simply brilliant with the kids, genuinely. My son comes back full of smiles every day. For balance the one year we used a French school and my son hated it, no laughing no fun, no banter, nothing in common and the usual language problems.
It’s sounds like a cliche but don’t look anywhere else if you need ski lessons in Tignes.

We have used Ultimate Snow Sports for the last 3 years for our 2 sons and after each lesson with Tom the improvement in their skiing ability was amazing.

Brilliant. I was taught by Gregor. He was the perfect balance of calm, patient and kind, yet persistent, detailed and challenging. My skiing came on massively in 4 days and my confidence also hugely improved. By the end of the sessions I was exploring the mountain with my family, delighted to have crossed paths with this company and their lovely team. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Ultimate , my 13yrs and 10yrs old enjoyed a lot their classes now in February 23 Half Term.
We had some bad experiences before with the bigger schools where they didn't learn anything so this year we decided to go for a smaller school and I am so pleased we did.
My youngest could confidently ski by the end of the week, the difference is so impressive. Last year he was so scared and couldn't understand anything the instructor said, while this year we did reds and even a black together.
Their technique improved so much and the best part is that they had fun. Both Mike and Gregor were lovely and very attentive. My eldest had a bad ski fall before he started the week so he missed day one, they were very good checking how he was and Gregor gave me a lot of confidence that he knew how to keep an eye on him.
(Obviously it goes without saying the doctor gave the thumbs up for him to ski too after we had him on rest for 24hrs prior to the class).
Lala has also been great . She gave me a call the day before to check how he was and was always very responsive to all my questions when I was still booking the classes. I wish there were more schools like them.

We had a fabulous lesson with Matt last week- the best lesson we'd had for a long time, and much needed, not having skied for quite a while due to the pandemic. He found the best snow conditions and gave us some very useful tips, generally making us feel much more confident at the end of our 2.5 hours. Would definitely recommend.

How do you know who's great at teaching your kids to ski? Of course anyone who puts their kids in with any company will say they are great, so I can only comment as follows:
Great communication
Really positive, friendly (and patient looking after 7 year olds) instructors
Small Groups - only 3 for my twins, so virtually private Group, and their max size is 6
When mentioned amongst those I met in Tignes, Ben and the Companies instructors were highly respected - see Ben's bio for example!
And most importantly, did they learn to ski? From a few basic lessons at the Snow Dome, I was skiing with them on the Green runs above Val from day 3 and only Blues day 5... Day 6 they were seeking out the lips at the edge of the Gratallu piste jumping to woops of delight...
If that's not perfect, i can't imagine it getting any better.
Already planning the next trip...
Tignes is a renowned ski resort with excellent skiing facilities and easy access to nearby resorts and amenities through reliable public transportation links. It features a funicular that takes visitors to a massive ski area, along with various options for eateries, hotels, shops, and even a lagoon. The ski area provides ample snow cover even in April, ensuring enjoyable skiing experiences for visitors of all skill levels. However, there are some outdated ski lifts that need replacing to improve the overall impression of the resort.
For the fourth time in this ski resort. Always plenty of snow, always nice weather !!! A place to return to. Remark, to replace a couple of old ski lifts which still spoils the impression a bit.

Having been to the relatively nearby Les Trois Vallées, I can say Tignes is comparable in many ways and offering a ski experience on par with its more premium cousin.
The resort boasts a large piste playground stretching over several key areas from the family-friendly Tignes (Le Lac, Val Claret, 1800) to the more advanced terrain of Val d'Isère with a wide range of pistes for different skill levels. Runs are great as they're groomed daily and the slopes receive tons of powder. Weather conditions can vary drastically throughout the week but we experienced some of the best conditions during our time with lots of bluebird days. And just as you think the snow's getting a little packed, fresh snow gets dumped to refresh the pistes. The resort is generally well-connected, allowing you to easily reach new areas to explore - otherwise, they have frequent shuttle buses that go between major stops around the resort.
The town is very walkable and has a decent range of dining options both on and off piste throughout the day and to kick back après ski.
Overall, it's a great resort with lots to offer for beginners and experts alike!

Direct access to slopes to a very large ski domein, a lot of snow, skiers are civilized, good to exquisite food on the restaurants. The landscape is spectacular. Hotels are in the architecture of the 80's but modernised will all necessary confort. Due to the attitude may be foggy and cold to frozen! Speak French, locals will appreciate it!

Evolution 2 Tignes Le Lac is a ski school that offers excellent service and has a friendly staff. They provide group and private lessons for both beginners and more advanced skiers. The instructors, including Cami, are highly knowledgeable, passionate about teaching, and give individual attention to their students. Evolution 2 comes highly recommended for their expertise in teaching parallel turns on blue and easy red slopes.
Cam was fantastic, a great tutor and knew all the best places to go.. we even hit some fresh powder :) made huge improvements over the week. Massive thanks to Cam. Highly recommended.

We absolutely love Evolution 2 for their smaller groups and calmer approach to ski lessons which can be overwhelming for kids. Our 8 year old had the best week with Pierre in the Yeti 2 group - a real inspiration for him! His confidence and skill has improved over the week. Our nervous 3 year old also had a brilliant time in the Husky group.
Thank you Evolution2 for another great week for our kids.

We were in Tignes for two weeks where me and my 4yo had lessons with Evolution 2, we both had group lessons and I had private lessons with Cami, who is an excellent instructor! I started as a beginner level and now can confidently do parallel turns on blue/ easy red slopes. We couldn't be happier with the level of knowledge, passion on teaching & the attention we received individually. Most definitely recommend Evolution 2, my daughters instructors, Chocolate, Mouse & Andy (: and my instructor Cami! Hope to see you all next year

Just back from a week in Tignes. I had a week with Cami on the red/black group, whilst my wife was with Andi in the green group. Both instructors were absolutely outstanding. I saw real improvement, having never had a full weeks instruction before. Cami pushed me to my limit, whilst making sure I always new I was in capable hands. In the green group, my wife's improvement was obvious as her confidence grew. No question that I would book Evolution 2 again, next time I am in Tignes.

Valentin was amazing with our (just turned) 3 yr old, she adored him! He went at her pace, was very aware of what she was and wasn’t capable of, very protective when the piste became quite busy yet let her have sufficient freedom to understand how the skis worked. We ended up going back for a second session as she loved it so much. Thank you so much Valentin for sowing the excitement for future holidays!

My wife and I visited Tignes last week. We signed up in advance for private lessons at the Evolution2 school. Firstly, everything was very well organized and on time. Secondly, there we met a wonderful instructor, Louis, and rode under his guidance 4 times for half a day in the morning. He is one of the best instructors we have skied with in our 36 years of skiing. We haven't had better skiing yet, despite the very changeable weather.
A young guy who has greatly improved our technique, who is interesting to talk to on any topic and who is simply a pleasure to spend time skiing with. He always knows at what time and under what weather conditions which direction is best to go in order to make the best use of our time. We recommend Louis from Evolution2 Tignes. Thanks Louis!

ASK FOR CAMI!
If you are looking for a skilled, high-energy instructor that will take you from zero to hero, ask. for. Cami.
He's an absolute legend, filled with expertise and a lifetime of knowledge. I recommend a minimum of TWO half days at the beginning of your holiday.
We could barely snowboard before our lessons, and after two half days, Cami had us carving blue and some friendly red slopes.

I have just spent a week in Tignes le Lac with the family. Some of us had group lessons and 3 had private lessons.
My instructor, Graham , was excellent. Our group was all at a similar level ( just learning to parallel ski) which worked well and Graham was able to "push" us enough but made us feel safe and well looked after at all times. He was extremely patient and kind and I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking for instruction in Tignes.
I was only interested in swimming pool, so haven’t checked any other stuff they have.
The pool is 25 m, part with lines and 2 m deep and part with decks reducing the depth. The pool is very clean and nice, I was told it gets busier from 4 pm, I was there at 3 and there was only a couple of people. The lockers operate with the password you set up yourself, so you don’t need coins. As others mentioned the pool is free if you have an active ski pass

The pool gets busy after 4pm. Before then it's very pleasant. I was impressed by the gym facilities. Nice selection of free weights, machines, treadmills and spinning bikes. you can either pay per session (10EUR) or sign up for the full week. Towels and trainers are also available at the front desk if needed. It's best to go before 3pm after which it can get a little busier.

Ok for an afternoon if ski conditions aren't great. Free entry with the ski pass and buses run frequently from Val Claret, though could walk to it too.
Water seemed on the cool side but we were talking to a lady who said the temp does vary. Clean and like the cubicles as you go in and come out the other side to get to the pool. Hangers thar fit neatly into lockers so you don't need to crumple clothes into a bag...

Although it’s a big aquatic centre, the swimming pool is only 5 lanes and packed even during mid season. Spa (also called Wellness) is nice, and Turkish hammam is definitely worth of a visit, there are also 3 saunas and 5 or 6 jacuzzi. Don’t miss their tea-room with beautiful view to the mountains!

Very good spa. It would be 5 stat review.
But someone opened the locked locker, had time to steal everything non gps trackable and left things back as if nothing happened. Even locked the locker. Password was not easy...
Zero security...

Such a great facility, pool gets a little crowded at times but that’s normal in a busy resort. The gym and spa area are also very good, really good equipment and space. The annoying thing is, it doesn’t open until 11am, of all the fitness enthusiasts, athletes and gym goers I know, every single one of them does some sort of training in the morning before their full day begins. I’ve never seen a centre like this open so late.

+ nice saunas/ hot tubes/ scenic views of mountains
+ nice person by the reception
- I’d wanted to put 3* because of the very inconvenient dressing rooms. I had to put my boots together with all my clothes in one small closet( maybe 40x70cm?) Walking around with naked feet is not just unusual in such places but also not hygienic.
- and getting in and out the centre for my grandma would be impossible (snowy, icy hill, not normal clean pedestrian road).
Place with a good potential

I had the opportunity to spend a week in Georgia during March 2022 with Rebel Alliance Snowboarding, and it was truly remarkable. The country itself is a hidden treasure, boasting incredible people and exceptional cuisine. Despite less than ideal conditions during the first half of the week, Rebel Alliance Snowboarding skillfully adapted their approach to make the most of what was available. And when the snow finally arrived, it was nothing short of fantastic.
Japan Camp Niseko & Furano Jan 2024
I had high expectations & a bucket list of things to do on this 2 week trip to Japan & my expectations were constantly exceeded
Was it just luck that we kept getting the best fresh tracks & lines every day or was it Simons skill & knowledge, pretty sure it wasn't just luck
It seemed like every day the bar kept getting moved on what my best line ever was.
Niseko was great but Furano really gave me a taste of what Japan is really like
The only bucket list item not ticked off was getting to hike & ride Yotei, you really need all the stars to aligned to do this safely so I guess I will have to go back & try again another time
Can't thank Simon enough for making this the trip of a lifetime

Rebel Alliance have taught my Son and I to ride from 2014 starting in Tignes. This is the first performance camp we have been on and it lived up to expectations. Simon from Rebel Alliance who is Level 5 BASI found terrain to suit the weather and level of the group. This is not a beginners course and you will need to be able to ride already but the camp will completely improve your skills. Our group was mixed in age range from my son at 17 up to guys 50 +. The relaxed environment and small group (in our case 6 people) meant that everybody would receive analysis and feedback with video footage. We stayed in La Ancien Paquier, located in the center of the historic village of Valtournenche with excellent hosts Paula and Fabio. The accommodation is B&B, spotless, well located and the hosts would bring our various snacks over drinks after a day on the snow. Evening meals are a relaxed affair in the village which has ample traditional restaurants at competitive process.
Riding everyday we covered in excess of 140km in 5 days across both piste and powder, all well planned and manged by Simon. We rode areas that without a guide we may not have found and the highlight was the 46km day trip from Valtournenche, Cervinia, Zermatt Matterhorn Glacier and back. If you want to improve your riding in a relaxed environment with great guides and hosts then this is for you!!

Spent a week with Si in Georgia at the beginning of March 2022 - awesome! Georgia is a real gem with amazing people and food that is off the scale. Conditions in the first half of the week weren't the best but Si still managed to tailor the day to get most of what was available. And the snow was fantastic once it did come in. Off the mountain, Si absolutely nailed it with the choice of accommodation for the week. Have spent time away with Si before and 100% recommend him to bring on your riding and ensure a great time.

Riding with Rebel Alliance is possibly the best way to improve your riding in every way... On or off Piste! Whatever your goal is, Simon will help you achieve it. We stayed at the Le Lac region during our stay in Tignes for snowboarding. The lake looked quite small when I first got there since it was covered by snow but realised it was frozen over in winter and people were actually walking across it.
The area is nice with plenty of accommodation and restaurants. There is also a playground by the lakeside by the bridge as well as tennis and basketball courts (which were covered in snow in winter). It was quite a scenic area and really nice when you went up into the mountains on the gondolas.

I recently had the opportunity to take private snowboarding lessons with Freedom Snowboarding in Val D'Isere, and I was genuinely impressed. From the initial contact until the actual coaching sessions, Freedom Snowboarding provided a top-notch service. The instructor, Jay, is an outstanding coach who truly has a passion for teaching snowboarding. Under Jay's guidance, I progressed from being a beginner to confidently riding challenging slopes and even tackling the terrain park.
Jay is an amazing coach and is the best one who has tort me and my son. He enjoyed it so much and was very sad when it was over. He could not turn at all and after jays lesion he could turn way better. We would highly recommend jay and his team to anyone

Review: Jay from Freedom Snowboarding
I recently had the pleasure of taking some snowboarding lessons with Jay from Freedom Snowboarding in Tignes, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Jay's expertise and professionalism truly set him apart as one of the top instructors in the region.
It was evident that he possesses a wealth of knowledge and skill when it comes to snowboarding. His passion for the sport is contagious, and his years of experience shine through in every lesson. Whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced rider looking to fine-tune your technique, Jay has a knack for tailoring his instruction to suit your every individual needs and abilities.
What impressed me most about Jay was his unwavering dedication to your progress and safety. He took the time to thoroughly assess abilities and goals before customising a lesson plan that would help achieve them. Throughout each session, he provided clear and constructive feedback, helping to improve my technique and build confidence on the slopes.
Beyond his technical expertise, Jay's professionalism was truly commendable. He was always punctual, well-prepared, and approachable, making everything a comfortable and enjoyable experience. His friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm for teaching made me feel at ease, even when tackling some challenging off-piste terrain.
Overall, I cannot recommend Jay from Freedom Snowboarding highly enough. Whether you're a novice looking to master the basics or a seasoned rider seeking to take your skills to the next level, Jay's expertise and professionalism make him the ideal instructor. If you find yourself in Tignes, or surrounding area,, don't hesitate to book a lesson with him—you won't be disappointed!

Literally cannot fault Jay & the team at Freedom. I've been to the performance camp for 2 years running now. Jay is an extremely talented boarder on and of piste and his BASI lvl 4 is testimony to that. He is able to help in any area you need to improve. I signed up for the camp to snowboard in a group as a solo traveller and came away a better boarder and made some great new friends too. Even if the members of the camp have different things they wish to focus on, Jay will put the time in to make sure that all styles of boarding are catered for and everyone has something to work on. Can't fault Freedom. The camp is great value for money too. I'll be back.

I booked two private lessons while on holiday in Tignes. Jay is such a great instructor! He is patient and calm, even when I was flapping during white out conditions! He encouraged me to be a lot braver and I’m really grateful for the confidence and knowledge I gained. 100% recommend!

Amazing experience! First time on a snowboard and on Day 2 I was already managing turns and going down a long blue run. Jay is an unbelievable instructor - so patient and super friendly. Because of him, I have absolutely fallen in love with snowboarding and I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

I recently had two private lessons with Jay from Freedom Snowboarding out of Val D'Isere and was definitely impressed. From the initial contact through to the delivery of the coaching sessions, Freedom Snowboarding delivered a high quality service.
Jay is an excellent coach, and is truly passionate about teaching others to snowboard. Jay took me from a beginner level to the point where I could confidently ride red runs, and hit the terrain park. Jay's knowledge of snowboarding is excellent, and he was able to explain everything to me in a practical way.
I can't recommend Freedom Snowboarding highly enough. The lessons with Jay allowed me to enjoy my holiday with the confidence to ride all runs with my friends. I can't wait to get back out riding with Jay for another week soon!.

I had an incredible lesson with Jay! My second day on a snowboard and he had me doing 360s (I tried anyway..). Jay was lovely, so patient and a great instructor. Couldn’t recommend Freedom more!

Had an incredible week, can't recommend Freedom Snowboarding enough! There had not been fresh snow in tignes for a couple of weeks, but Jay took us splitboarding and still found us some powder turns! He also hugely improved my riding on piste around resort and helped me get rid of some bad habits. Thanks Jay!

My first lesson with Jay was back in 2019, and he had managed to inspire me to the point I wanted to become a snowboard instructor myself. Since then, he has supported me with more lessons and the training needed for succeeding at my courses and getting my qualifications.
I would highly recommend Freedom Snowboarding, no matter what level you’re at!

Booking process was extremely straight forward and Jay was very accommodating when I needed to swap my lesson time last minute. Jay boosted my confidence massively and gave me a new love for snowboarding, he met me at a location that was convenient for me and took me to meet my friends at the end of my lesson which was perfect! 100% would recommend!

Great, clear and easy communication during the whole booking process. Booked two days of guided split boarding. Jay was really knowledgeable and very passionate about what he does. We loved it and will definitely book with Freedom Snowboarding again! Highly recommend!

Jay has helped both my son and I progress our snowboarding beyond our expectations. His clear instructions make it really easy to improve and gave me a lot more confidence to tackle slopes I was previously nervous on. And for my son, he has taken him through snowparks and onwards to big off-pistes, guiding and pushing him to progress in Freeride.
Jay is a great coach from beginners all the way to budding Freeride competitors.
It's almost annoying that he's then a really nice guy too!!!
You'll be in safe hands.
Drove past the lake on the way up to the Tignes Resort as well as when heading towards Val d'Isere. It's a fairly large lake with nice views of the mountain range. There are scenic stopping points on the road between Tignes and Val d'Isere.
The gondola from the Tignes Breveries also has quite nice views of the lake and dam. It looked like it was walkable to the dam from the Tignes 1800 area (Les Biosses).
There is also a dam on the Tignes side of the lake, which you drive over to get to the resort.
Snowtubing Tignes is an exceptional and thrilling activity that guarantees a fantastic time for both children and adults. With laughter and excitement as the main ingredients, this amusement center offers an unforgettable experience. The warm welcome by Fred exudes genuine friendliness, while his demonstration of various downhill techniques adds to the overall enjoyment. The atmosphere is simply perfect, leaving no room for disappointment.
Went as a small group and had lots of fun. Workers helped us take many photos and videos, and their English was excellent as well.

Absolutely amazing experience with the kiddos!! 8 and 11 year old screaming with joy, as well as us parents too. The people running it absolutely made it, spinning is as fast as they could, one by one and even for at a time. Highly recommended!!!

We had an unbelievably fun time Snowtubing in Tignes Val Claret! Romain was a brilliant staff member, working tirelessly and always with a smile on his face to send us all spinning down the slope laughing and screaming! 🙌🏻 We are a group of 7 24-year-olds and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip! We paid for a half hour slot and it was so worth the money. Thank you Romain! 😁

Good fun. The magic carpet is convenient and the slope fast and gets your stomach in your mouth!
One of the staff member’s dogs was chasing the tubes down the hill, barking at them, which could be off putting for some. The manager seemed to sort it out quickly.
At one point they didn’t allow some children to clear the end before launching the next person off, which seemed concerning.

We had a lot of fun with the snow tubing experience. The people who ran the place were really good and proposed us different fun ways of descending down the slope. Must try with a group of people!

Really great fun and brilliant staff! Very helpful and kind sorting out our booking that the travel company had messed up.
Helpful modern Tourist Office on entry to Val Claret village with some seating, all local information, a PS5 and a luggage storage facility below.

We hadn’t realised how much this place offers. The third floor (open later in the afternoons) is a multimedia area, including a workspace and TVs and sofas and a play area for children. They also hold welcome receptions sometimes with free hot chocolate. There is free wifi, and also free showers and toilets. You can take the lift down to the bus station too.

(Translated by Google) Magical moment in the resort which offers a multitude of activities in the absence of ski lifts.
Warm and friendly welcome.
The only downside is dog owners who don't pick up the "gifts" from their faithful companions.
But that in no way spoiled our stay which was a real breath of fresh air ;).

Walked past the church when walking down the main street of Les Brevieres from the base of the ski lifts. It is quite a pale coloured church with a bell tower on the side. We didn't go inside as it was closed.
I recently returned from a fantastic skiing trip in Tignes where I had the opportunity to book a private ski lesson with TDC - The Development Centre. As someone who had previously taught myself how to ski, this was a great chance for me and my friends to improve our skills, especially in carving. Our instructor India provided excellent guidance throughout the lesson, offering personalized advice tailored to each individual.
Gavin at TDC was a brilliant instructor whilst skiing in Tignes! He was engaging, patient and very knowledgeable. Couldn’t have asked for a better service. Organising these lessons was also so easy with Lindo who was so friendly and dealt with all my enquiries efficiently. Would definitely use again, highly recommend!

A small but perfectly formed team of expert instructors. Harry and I have used TDC for almost 10 years now and we love their approach and personalised tuition. Every year we see further improvement in our abilities both on and off piste. We would not go anywhere else!

I had a 3 hours private lesson with Gavin and I could not have wished for a better improvement within such a short span of time. He took me from a beginner to being able to ski even the black slopes safely and confident with very precise and tailored tips. 100% recommendation! Thank you!

India from TDC literally rescued our holiday from the jaws of disaster for our two first timer children who had a ski school nightmare. They loved their lesson. Thank you TDC, we’ll be back. (On Thursday).

We booked a 3 hour lesson with TDC for 5 friends. The booking process was easy and straightforward. Rab was our instructor and he was very fun and entertaining, as well as a brilliant coach. He took the time to give individual feedback to everyone. He also led us to quieter parts of the mountain which we wouldn't have discovered otherwise. We all loved the lesson, we learnt plenty and ended the day very satisfied. I would definitely recommend a lesson with Rab and the TDC team.

We booked lessons with TDC whilst in Tignes last week. He took a group of two adults and four children aged 8-11. The children found Rab entertaining, funny, communicative and engaging. He was very clear with instructions. My son said he described things in a different way and it really helped him understand about skiing powder. Thanks TDC!

Just back from an awesome week skiing in Tignes. The highlight was booking a private 3 hour ski lesson with TDC for myself and 2 friends. We all had a few years of skiing under our belts, but it's mostly 'self-taught', so we finally bit the bullet and booked a lesson with the focus on carving. Our instructor India was brilliant and throughout the lesson she was able to constantly watch and offer advice tailored to each person. Getting those small but essential pointers were a massive confidence boost. We skied almost 15km in the 3 hours so it was very much practical theory too! Forget watching Youtube videos, I'd highly recommend anyone thinking of booking a private lesson to do it!

Lesson dates: 24 to 28 January 2021 (excluding 27 Jan)
Instructor: India
Summary: the five star reviews are definitely justified. Great company, with excellent (and highly knowledgeable) instructors. Will definitely recommend to others / book again if ever in Tignes.
Review: We were a group of mixed ability, some not having skied for 15+ years, and others with some more recent (but limited) experience. The booking process was seamless with plenty of understanding re uncertainties around restrictions on UK citizens travelling to France. Payment was made via a small deposit with the remainder becoming due once we confirmed the trip was still on!
As for the lessons themselves, India quickly assessed our abilities and expertly guided us through a reminder of the basics. Her style was extremely personable, but also professional and her knowledge of not just skiing technique but also the local area and best slopes to hit was really stand-out. What was really impressive was as the week progressed (and people's abilities developed at different paces), she kept the lessons relevant to all, making sure that everyone was getting the maximum out of the lessons and continuing to progress. India's lessons really were the highlight of our trip and I would not hesitate to recommend her (and TDC generally) to anyone visiting Tignes!! Thanks for an amazing week!
