This pottery store sells ceramics from Vietri and Deruta at a moderate cost. The staff is courteous and welcoming, and guaranteed shipment of the purchased goods is offered. The shop is open during the summertime.
Beautiful ceramics, the highest quality we could find in all of Ravello. Like other reviews mention, we were able to arrange their shipment home without hassle or needless paperwork.
Mille grazie Alfonso e Carmela!

Roberta was fun to work with and got this tile painted and to us in a couple weeks. If you can't make it to Ravello this year do order online and you will get very personalized service!

We got the cutest pottery Christmas trees here, great products and service.

DID NOT PAY FOR SHIPPING WHEN SAID THEY WOULD. If not for a silly $52 that I was "stuck for" it would have been a 5 star review.
My son and daughter in law purchased a set of dinnerware from Ceramiche D'Arte Carmela while they were visiting Itally a few years back. They LOVE the ceramics. Over the years we have ordered more for their set and had it shipped to us in America. This year I had a large order, but said to Roberta Cioffi (I believe she is an owner, but I am not sure) that depending on the cost of shipping would determine weather I would order ALL or part of the wish list. She imediatley said she would pay for shipping. Great! Then order it all I said!!! I recieved the first box (some items had to still be made) all was good. But then the second box didnt come and didnt come. It ends up it was being held for "import fees" of $52. This should have been part of shipping costs, it was always in past orders including the first box of this very order. VERY disappointed and sad that Roberta didn't honor her word to pay for shipping.

The Hotel Villa Cimbrone is a beautiful, luxurious hilltop lodging in a medieval manor that offers luxe rooms, fine dining, and a pool. The gardens here were mainly created by British peer Ernest William Beckett who reconfigured them with rose-beds, temples, and a Moorish pavilion in the early 1900s.
This villa's gardens are well worth the trip to Ravello by themselves! Beautiful grounds with many areas to explore and amazing views. It was 10 euro to enter
Rachel Cap — Google review
Worth a visit and the entry fee (€10) for the views alone. Off the beaten track a bit so wasn't busy at all. Drinks are pricey inside (€5 for a can of soda). Amazing views of the area. Very beautiful, well kept gardens.

We booked in advance for 6 nights to stay at Villa Cimbrone in Celebration of our 25th Wedding Anniversary and were extremely disappointed with the level of service from the moment of arrival until our departure – this should have a been a memorable and Happy occasion.
The staff treated us as if we were an interruption to their work (not the reason for them having a job in the first place) and were most condescending whenever we approached them.
The Breakfast Buffet was mediocre for a Hotel claiming to be of such high quality and the Hot Breakfast was served very haphazardly.
Due to a family emergency we had to return home 3 days early and no empathy, nor reimbursement for the extra night (7) we had paid for on arrival and the Management did not respond to our request until 14 days after we had contacted them – Customer Service is obviously not their priority and they are extremely rude.
We don’t object to paying high prices for 5 Star Hotel, but expect 5 Star service in return and to be treated in such a way.
Don’t waste your money!

Beautiful gardens to visit if you are in Ravello. We went for a walk and drinks. We were very lucky to join the special cocktail night with live saxophone 🎷 and guitar 🎸 music. Magical.
Entrance fee 10€
Cocktails 23€ each that came with assorted antipasti.

If you have good legs and are prepared to climb some steps, then you are good to go. The scenery is awesome, simply beautiful, nature at it best. Raw views. The Garden is decadent. Jaw dropping . There is always Pepe, call him if you need to climb. The hotel is rustic, dripping with character. Friendly staff

This was my third visit to Amalfi coast but somehow my first trip to Cimbrone. I guess I wrote it off in my head as touristy and overrated. I couldn’t have been more wrong!
Admission to the gardens is 7€ and totally worth it. We had a lovely (albeit rainy) afternoon exploring the place and the views from the infinity terrace were truly stunning, everyone from someone who has “seen it”. Not to be missed!

The most beautiful place with views to die for and Michelin star restaurant with service that makes you feel like the Queen. I can't wait to go back there. Also very romantic I must say with weddings happening almost every day. Gorgeous, stunning and highly recommended. If you can afford to spend a couple of nights there...do it. Experience of a lifetime

This has been a very difficult review to write. This hotel is beautiful, an ancient Roman villa set in stunning gardens which over look the Amalfi coast. So why the four stars I hear you ask, simply the food in the restaurant, the food is bland and tasteless and frankly a real disappointment. The first night we booked the Michelin Star restaurant and my recommendation to the Michelin assessors is to revisit this decision. The next night we tried the bar and had a risotto, which was tiny and tasteless, the main was steak and there was more gristle than meat, in the end I refused to pay for it. The last night we eat outside of the hotel. This is a massive disappointment for my wife and I as this hotel is one of the best I have stayed in, the rooms were lovely, bed comfortable, view lovely. The other point to make is the staff are professional, but it feels like they are doing you a favour, it is not as welcoming as you would expect for an establishment of this type. It was really odd and hard to put your finger on the problem. They just don’t care about their guests in my view. Would I stay there again, yes, but I would eat elsewhere.

Very special place, quite, with a lot of monument.
Place where you can enjoy tranquility and beautiful, outstanding views.
Recommended to visit this garden when is season for roses and hydrangeas.

We visited the gardens and stayed for a drink in the terrace bar near the main restaurant. Gardens are truly magnificent in style and scope. Just a note re upkeep and maintenance. More attention and watering needed for the whole of the gardens! Not just those heavy traffic areas near the accommodation and reception areas. Perfect rest spot for a drink on the terrace and highly attentive waiting staff.

Villa Cimbrone, perched on the cliffs of Ravello, Italy, is a hidden gem that stole my heart. The breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast from its terraced gardens are nothing short of a masterpiece. As we strolled through the enchanting paths, the allure of the surroundings, including the Infinity Terrace, left me captivated. The historic architecture and the sense of tranquility make it an ideal escape. Villa Cimbrone is not just a destination; it's a poetic retreat where nature and art seamlessly intertwine, creating a truly magical experience.

This is a review for the gardens, which is a must visit if in Ravello.
If arriving in Ravello by bus, it’s about a 10 minute walk here and the walk itself is quite nice. We did Ravello as a day trip and this was our favorite part of the town. Right when you enter the gardens you see a long walkway that just makes you want to take 100 pictures. Once you reach the end, there’s a beautiful view of the ocean. The garden itself is spacious enough for a comfortable stroll and small enough that you can see all of it without feeling tired or bored. We also visited Villa Rufolo and we enjoyed Villa Cimbrone much more.

Beautiful park and location. It's not in center of Ravello, but the walk is very pleasant and there are not too many stairs. The ticket is around 10€ for adults. Park is big and well curated, there are many plants and flowers that bloom in different seasons so the park is always green and colorful. There are many paths that take you to "hidden" locations or viewpoints. I loved infinity terrace, that gives you amanzingg view on Amalfi and the rest of the coast. Even though there are many visitors, the park didn't seem overcrowded. Amazing experience!

The villa is absolutely stunning, and from it you can enjoy some of the best views of the Amalfi coast.
A little brochure with info in Italian and English is provided with the entrance ticket (10 euros), which also helps roaming around the villa in a more convenient fashion to see all the relevant spots.
It's a recommended stop if you're a visiting the Amalfi coast.

The rooms are in need of renovation. The staff is rude, the breakfast took ages to prepare and the food was cold. Dogs are not recommended. Despite the surcharge, my dog was not allowed on the outside terrace of the restaurant (it is a 4 kg, well-behaved Maltese). Overall not recommended and does not deserve the 5 stars.
Charlotte Steinborn — Google review
Wow, just wow! A three letter word you will be saying the entire time you’re there. Well worth the 10 euros per person, especially if you’re photogenic! Would definitely recommend to everyone even though it’s a bit of a walk from the center.

One of my favourites during our tour of Italy. Everything was perfection. A Ravello sunrise, too beautiful to describe, an added bonus. The gardens are famous for good reason. Dinner on the terrace was unforgettable.

Such a beautiful hotel with a wonderful helpful friendly staff. The hike to the hotel from the drop off point is not for the weak. I am 69 and found it challenging but doable. The hotel is so wonderful that you felt fine not going back to town, avoiding the hike to town and back. The food was absolutely incredible . We enjoyed breakfast and had dinner three nights, one in the Michelin star restaurant which offers a variety of tasting menus. Don’t miss this experience.

A place to visit! Villa Cimbrone in Ravello on the Amalfi coast. Didn’t use the rooms and I don’t know about the service but the location is unique. Very romantic for weddings. The crypt and the infinity garden are something that won’t be forgotten. Ticket is very cheap and it’s worth it. Highly recommended!

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. We had the most amazing time and will definitely come back.
The Villa Rufolo is a historical landmark in the town of Ravellos, located south of the cathedral. It was built in the 1400s by a Scotsman, Sir Francis Neville Reid, and is renowned for its beautiful gardens that offer divine panoramic views of the sea. The gardens are at their best from May to October, but can be enjoyed year-round if you pay the entrance fee.
This was a great experience, and we had a great time. When you arrive here, it’s a little deceptive as it appears you’re paying €7 just to get into the tower. However, there are actually extensive and lovely gardens to visit too. We would definitely come back here, as the views are amazing!

Villa Rufolo was a hidden treasure in a rather tiny but attractive village. A Moorish castle with an attractive garden and probably the best view over the sea!
One little remark to the lady who sells the tickets: madame, I understand that you don't have the most interesting job in the world, but selling tickets while constantly talking to friends/family through your cellphone, hardly noticing the visitors itself, is very rude.

It's worth the visit. Before climbing you have quite large parking.. About the villa I can say that it is extremely well preserved, arranged. The view from there is I think the most gorgeous. Extraordinary.

Amazing villa with outstanding views overlooking the Amalfi coast. It has a very rich history and you will feel like you are transported back in time. The yard and the garden are well maintained and beautiful. Many spots for taking pictures for a lifetime of memories.

Beautiful villa for 8 euros per person. If you would really like to take in all the art and beauty, spare yourself at least 2 hours. The flowers in the garden are very beautiful and the architecture is well preserved. There are nice and cool shades to catch a break from the boiling sun, there is a museum in the tower, and magical views from the terraces and balconies. At the very heart of Ravello, it’s a must visit when you are in this city.

A restored castle with great views of the mountains and the sea.
The castle was restored in the 19th century in a rather haphazard, but charming fashion. It overlooks much of the Amalfi coast and the Gulf of Salerno. There are terraced gardens perched on the mountainside that are very pleasant to wander.

Taking the time to visit this site is well worth it. The drive to Ravello is picturesque and I’m so glad we did it. I would highly recommend. We went during the week and arrived mid morning, we had no wait to purchase tickets. But if able I always recommend pre purchasing as you never know. I wish I would have taken the time to read through the booklet they gave us as it’s explains everything and can guide you on a specific path. Would love to come back for the music festival!

A very romantic place. A wedding was being prepared while I visited and I could see it being incredibly beautiful. The gardens are diverse. A nice visit for one- two hours while in town, be prepared for steps. There are restrooms on premises and a bar in the garden with limited offerings. I recommend coming with a water bottle full (no public fountain for water).

Very nice complex. Not si big but Beautiful gardens. Breathtaking views. Most parts accessible with wheelchair. Amazing spots for taking pictures. It has also an stage for large events. At the time of our visit, there was Ravello festival. The villa itself is also beautiful with beautiful balconies to take pictures from.

Absolutely stunning views. Beautiful gardens. Incredible history. Stayed for about an hour, no line when we went up in the morning around 10am so didn’t need to buy tickets in advance.
Make sure to go up into the tower! Panoramic views. Can get a bit hot up there, but worth the trek up the stairs.

Unfortunately we visited on a drizzly cloudy day as we were scheduled ahead of time with our tour group. Before we entered we saw a wedding about to take place on a Tuesday? Yes we saw several weddings taking place in the middle of a work day in several parts of Italy. The Villa is a well preserved awesome old venue. It doesn’t take long to tour it and when you’re finished the views from the upper levels is amazing. It would have been better on a sunny day but it was still beautiful. There is a tower on the property that you can climb to view the property and have even better views of
the area. It wasn’t a bad climb for someone my age(71). There are floating stairs which are pretty cool to see and use. Also as you climb there are a few things to look at and learn something. There is also a video on a loop that was nice to watch. My only complaint was when we reached the top it was surrounded by plexi glass. I understand the reason why, no falls, safety but it did hamper the view especially on a rainy day. That said I would still recommend taking the hike up. The best part of the visit was learning about the annual concert that takes place here. It is held outside on a temporary stage that is suspended over the cliffs hanging over the side of the cliffs. There are pictures to show how it is done. It’s an amazing way to add to the splendor of the area and another way to enjoy the vistas.
