L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue Market is a sprawling market situated alongside the canals that offers an array of goods such as fruits, cheese, flowers, antiques and artworks. Although it exudes charm, prices are mainly targeted towards tourists with many vendors selling similar wares. Ideal for souvenir shopping but products like honey, wine or mustard can be purchased at nearby shops or Intermarche supermarket which is just a few kilometers away.
If you’re going to go to a market, this is the one that is a must. So many vendors in a very nice setting. We also enjoyed sitting in the shade and enjoyed the live singer. Better to go early and be prepared for so many people. We parked far away to enjoy the scenery.

Wierd and wonderful selection of oddities, including lovely local pottery (saw 6 versions of antique asparagus plates), vintage linens, swords and regular flea market stalls. We arrived midday so some were starting to pack up.. very crowded on a Saturday.
Martha Ivester — Google review
Extremely charming market. Prices are tourist prices, no giveaways here. You will note that many sellers have exactly the same goods. I use for souvenirs mainly, and buy the honey/wine/mustard/lavender etc in the shops or Intermarche supermarket a couple of KM'S away. But nice relaxed athmosphere. Coffee eur 8,-... But quite nice.

Get it on ur schedule. This market has food, linens, clothing, shoes, antiques... town is cute. Arriving early is best. We had to park and walk, but it's a beautiful little town so not a problem for us. Go see the olive guy (see pics), he makes the tapenade he sells.
Michelle Martinez — Google review
In a village that feels naturally cooled by the streams, brooks and channels that run through it, market felt like a great opportunity to browse what was on offer.
While the town itself is a gem, market felt more or less like any other Provence market. More focused on tourist sales than being genuine. High prices and awareness that tourists will cough up if they find a trinket or a piece of cheese they like.
Visit for the atmosphere.
Did buy four huge avocados for only 5€ and made a killer Guacamole. No, you won’t get my recipe 🌞

Best regional market in France 🇫🇷
Very nice location and biggest asortyment. very recommend for everybody who want buy local products
Parking free outside of wilage
15 minutes walking
Fabrizio — Google review
Huge market all over town, a little busy and feels more touristy than other markets in Provence, but if you only have time for one market this should probably be it.
There's a free parking lot about 15 minutes walk from there (you'll see it on the way), I recommend parking there because the other parking lots are packed.
Rotem Ben- David — Google review
Loved the town and actually found a few things for home at the market, but after being on a bike in the French countryside for a week, the sheer numbers of people and general hubbub of the market as it closed down was a bit much!
Gregory Smith — Google review
If you have limited time to travel in Provence and struggle to decide which market to go, this one is the one! This market is simply amazing and has all sorts of fresh produce, soap, clothes, souvenirs, flowers, local food, artistic works, and many many more! All the stall owners are super-friendly! PLUS, the surrounding has all sorts of restaurants for you to enjoy. And if you are interested in antiques, this place (and the vicinity as well) has a little market for that as well! Highly recommended! Did I mention that this surrounding scene was just absolutely breathtaking?!

Wonderful shopping event. Crowds are large, selection is awesome. If you visit the area be sure to check it out. Come early as parking appears to fill up shortly after 9 am

Loved the market. It seems to go on forever when walking around it. Twisting and turning around the small streets of Isle sur la Sorge. You can buy cheeses, fresh vegetables, Tibetan Jewellery, French tea towels, and pretty much most things. The small shops open at 10.00. The first thing in the morning is much quieter as the shops open the town gets very busy. Definitely worth a visit, but try to park a bit further out of town if you can. Otherwise you will get stuck in gridlock as numbers of cars trying to pass through the town rises.
Karen Williamson — Google review
This is a very interesting place, lots of interesting shops. This is antique central, however you are paying tourists prices, it is possible to haggle but not a great deal although we did pick up a nice couple of bits. Very busy lots of arty shops and gift shops again tourist prices so a bit on the expensive side. The cathedral in the city centre is outstanding and I would make this part of your visit

Lovely meander through the town, lots of interesting places, shops, art gallery and church. Don't be looking for food after 3pm - unless a sandwich and soft drink/coffee will suffice

The price corresponds to the quality of the products so quite expensive but over time no comparison possible.

nostalgia for beauty...

On paper, entry €4, games, grills, friendly educational farm...
On arrival .. everything was at the appointment except THE WELCOME!
There were 9 of us. To eat, we took something to feed the little ones + the farm had to offer the accompaniments, we had some for 50€ for the meals with drinks, not including the starters at 4€/pers.
The staff very irritated because we asked for side dishes for the children when for them we had not bought enough meat. But do you think a child of 4-7 years old will eat a pork chop alone? Or more than a merguez in this heat?
Irritated giving us plates telling us he was going to do the dishes afterwards.
Irritated to take care of us because we only ask for what we needed to eat. Plates/cutlery/bread. The bare minimum, right?
You shouldn't have a party if it's to be impatient or even grumpy.
It was supposed to be a good discovery, but bad experience that was absolutely not worth the detour to the farm.

Our visit to the brewpub Brasseur de l'Isle sur la Sorgue, facilitated by the book "Rando beer in France," showcased a warm and inviting owner who took the time to provide detailed descriptions of his wide range of products. They offer 33cL bottles of various types such as blond, brown, amber, IPA, stout, and white. Additionally, patrons have the opportunity to sample their draft offerings either indoors or on the terrace.
They have a nice selection of locally brewed beer. You can have one on the terras for 3€. It was open during the market and there was a jazzy saxofoon player nearby. I know you can't buy happieness but this came pretty close 🍻😉

The art center CAMPREDON art & image is known for its impressive exhibitions that showcase modern and thought-provoking artwork. The gallery also has a well-stocked bookshop that mirrors the quality of the exhibitions, making it a worthwhile visit. We arrived here at 6 pm thinking the store was open until 7 pm as advertised on Google. An older man was just closing the gates. 'We're closed.' When I asked him about the Google Maps times, he couldn't care less. 'Ohh those hours aren't right! Everybody knows we close at 6 pm.' I told him it'd be nice to update the times for tourists like us and he just shrugged: 'come back tomorrow then'. (We can't, we were on a day trip from much farther away.) It's the complete 'je m'en fous' attitude that did it for me, a bit of kindness or empathy would have made all the difference...
