This must be named after my ancestors, definitely visiting someday.
The comprehensive guided tour offered by Madonna di Campiglio atp showcased the well-preserved Catholic Church of San Vigilio. The apse frescoes were stunning, and the famous macabre dance on the outer wall drew much attention. Visitors in the area should make a point to visit this church, which is open every day from 4 pm to 6 pm during summer. Inside, informative leaflets are available for further explanation and exploration.

The dance of death
Truly beautiful, if you get the right guide who are volunteering, it is even more informative.
Stay in the garden/cemetary and gaze up at that beautiful 18 figure alfresco.

The dance of death on the external facade is just one of the masterpieces of the church, also very valuable inside. I'm really happy to have visited it.

Both the exterior and interior are picturesque and rich in history (dance macabre, apse basin and internal altars).
Our visit was certainly enriched by the detailed explanations of Mrs. Laura, one of the volunteers responsible for spreading local culture.
This is high-quality cultural tourism worthy of our country.

(Translated by Google) In Romanesque architectural style, the cemetery church dedicated to San Vigilio, bishop of Trento, was consecrated in 1,454. The origin of the church is still uncertain, but it is known that construction work began in 1,232. The fresco on the external facade is interesting, depicting the "Dance of Death" by the painter Simone Baschenis. We were lucky, we visited the Church of San Vigilio on a Sunday afternoon and it was open to the public from 4 to 6 pm.

Very beautyfull piece of unspoiled nature. The river has some striking colours en the forest is lush with moss covered rocks everywhere. Its an easy walk and parking is free. The path is not made for wheelchairs or other wheeled devices.

The waterfall itself is not a great sight..
The water in the stream is very clean and very cold.
A dive is a must.
Circular route of about 20 minutes starting from and then returning to the car park.
Worth a visit!

Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta is a stunning mountain nature reserve, home to lakes, forests and even a glacier. Visitors may encounter an array of wildlife including brown bears and ibex. The Val Genova valley offers breathtaking scenery with its narrow but well-maintained road running alongside the Sarca di Val Genova river, boasting numerous waterfalls such as the picturesque Cascade di Nardis which is perfect for photography.

We drove across the Val Genova valley in Brenta, from Carisolo to Bedole. It was the end of April. The scenery was amazing. The road was narrow but very well maintained and there were no access problems. The route runs close to the Sarca di Val Genova river, which creates a spectacular and enjoyable course. Along the way you will find many waterfalls of which the Cascade di Nardis is on the road. This waterfall is ideal for photography. The environment of the valley is very clean, and we came across small restaurants and cafes as well. Many hiking trails start from the road. The route is highly recommended.

Very beautiful place! Great for easy walks. If you eat cheese a must is going to a malga and buying the cheese that you cook in the pan or put in polenta. A lot of places to go see! I suggest reading a guide book.

We went to the Brenta early June. Beautiful time to go. Be prepared for the last snow fields and a lot of sun. Most cabins (Refuges) are closed and only open around mid June so we stayed in the Winterraum (almost each cabin has one available and open).
