The Monestir de Sant Cugat is a monastery that underwent construction for several centuries, ranging from the 9th century to the 14th century. This building boasts unique and diverse architecture, showcasing various styles throughout its history of construction.
Visited for the first time in March, great venue and within easy reach of Barcelona. Friendly and helpful staff at this modern facility. Look forward to my next visit.

Parque Toboganes Can Mates is a vast park that boasts undulating terrain and stunning panoramic views, complete with an array of green spaces and play areas. Visitors have access to numerous slides, swings, climbing structures, sandboxes, and other amenities suitable for children of all ages. The ample grassy areas provide ideal picnic spots or places to play soccer while shaded by the abundant trees. Additionally, the park offers convenient parking facilities adjacent to its grounds.
Such an awesome playground!! There is enough to do to play for hours. Many different slides and other playthings. For small kids as well as big kids. I wish we lived closer so we could go here every week.

Wonderful park. We went there with our 3 kids (3,6,9) and they all had a great time. There is enough grass to have a picnic or play soccer, even trees to have some shadow. There are multiple slides, swings things to climb and also a sand area. The park is huge and you have a great view. There is also enough parking right beside the park. Will definitely visit again.

Aki Buky — Google review
Perfect spot to hangout with kids, a lot of fun and many attractions and above all- it is free. Pay attention, when it's warm outside, there is not a lot of shade spots...
The place itself is curious: it tells the story of when the economy of the region revolves around wine. However, it gets a special charm when it becomes a concert venue (for example, at the end of June, when the Festa Major is going on). The photo is from when the orchestra of the local Escola Fusió was about to perform The Typewriter, by Leroy Anderson

Excellent museum, probably my favorite in Sant Cugat. Of course, the museums that belong to the City Hall are great, most notably the impressive Monastery, symbol of the city, but Cal Gerrer has something special. Not only it is independent (non-govermental), but it has the charm of explaining things to you from a non-official point of view. Its greatness resides also in its variety, since it possesses several floors, each of them dedicated to a different theme. No need to say the Marilyn Monroe section is the nucleus of it all and will leave you breathless. Totally worth the visit, time and again.

Sant Cugat Shopping Center is a large mall that features trendy retail shops, casual eateries, a supermarket, and a movie theater. It is conveniently located near residential areas and offers everything from branded stores to grocery items. One of the major highlights of this shopping center is the Carrefour store which has an impressive collection of both groceries and garments. The mall also has underground parking facilities with some essential shops for quick shopping trips.
Although I did not have much time, so this is not a detailed analysis, I can say that all the needs of either an individual or a household are covered. There are several places to eat (different type of food). I'm sorry that I didn't remember the name of the restaurant where I had lunch, because not only was the food delicious, the staff was extremely helpful and paid attention to every detail.
The center is inspected, the space is wide, so it is not a problem to move around with a wheelchair.
The toilet is in a visible place and properly maintained, just what should be there.

It is currently the Tourism Office, located in Plaza Octavia. Next to the Museum, Monastery and Church. In a beautiful square with bars and restaurants. On Sunday the blue parking zone is free.
I went in to ask for the map of Sant Cugat and the guy very kindly informed me of everything I could visit in Sant Cugat.
The Tower of the Main Portal was the entrance to the monastic enclosure, which has the essential elements to defend it from possible invaders.
The complex was located on the road that linked the Roman cities of Barcino (Barcelona) with Egara (Terrassa).
It is next to the Abbey Palace.
The tower is preceded by a defensive structure, built on the current plaza. Its outline has been marked on the pavement, where we can also see the remains of the old moat, which was crossed by a mobile wooden bridge.
Of all the defensive structures of the portal, only the Tower remains, since the others were destroyed after the defeat of 1714, when Philip V ordered the destruction of the fortifications.

(Translated by Google) I want to show my absolute disappointment with the route "Arrivals nocturnes al monestir de Sant Cugat", carried out on Saturday, August 12 at 10 p.m. The price is expensive for the low quality and quantity of the legends explained and the lack of professionalism of the tourist guide who accompanied us. It had to be an hour and a half route and it barely lasted 45 minutes. We spent more time paying for the route than enjoying it. The guide's companion, a man dressed as a monk, does not contribute anything positive to the route, rather he is constantly annoying. The gift of a "flaó" is actually half for each attendee. The guide had neither the sympathy nor the attitude to carry out the visit and since it was a night route through the cloister and the monastery, he did not even have a flashlight to show us anything. We had to illuminate the capitals with the attendees' cell phones... a complete disaster. An activity that leaves much to be desired compared to what my companion and I expected. Paying €15 for this route was a scam, nonsense. Not recommended.

I love to go there, it's a no brainer for me, I don't have to decide what I want to eat so I can choose a restaurant. Just go there, you can find pretty much everything! Peixateria guys are very friendly! Everything there is awesome. There's nothing not to like!

Was told by the staff that:
Diner is not served till July 2024, some new arrangement is ongoing.
The grocery store is really nice with amazing fruits: bought one box of strawberries weighing 1kg for 5.99 EUR, super fresh.

The food is good and you can take many different type of dishes because each restaurant have it’s own specialty. You can find spanish, Japanese and italian cuisine. The only thing that I think should be improved is the terrace sometimes the tables are not clean or it can get too noisy. Plus you need to wait to get your order. But I still like the food there
Marwa Siala — Google review
To be real with you my experience here wasn't the best. It's not because the food isn't great or anything like that it's that the workers were really slow, the place smelled like fish, and everything was extremely overpriced. I still gave this place 3 stars because the food was quite good. Would I go there again? Sure, if you invite me. Is it my restaurant/cafe of choice? Absolutely no.
I hope this review helped you decide if to go to this cafe or not.

Excellent place for family lunch, many options and unrivaled freshness. Our favorites are the simple fish and meat on the grill, pimiento de pardon, mini burgers for kids and ceviche.
