Peckover House and Garden is an impressive museum of Georgian architecture, showcasing a variety of curiosities across its lush 2-acre garden. It is managed by the National Trust and requires advanced booking for tours. While there is no parking available at the house itself, free parking can be found nearby. The property's volunteers are knowledgeable, friendly and informative guides who make visits incredibly interesting. Visitors have also discovered fascinating information about the house through independent research.
Lovely little National Trust in the heart of Wisbech, right on the bank of the river. It's a little hidden so there are not too many visitors on an average day, therefore it's very enjoyable, peaceful and quiet.
The garden is very pretty and very-well maintained. There are plenty of benches and seats around the territory of the park, and there's also a croquet field which can be so much fun both with friends and family.
I can recommend. Well-worth the visit.

We enjoyed this National Trust property. No parking at the actual house, but free parking just across the bridge. Absolutely beautiful gardens. The tour has to be booked in advance. Now .. these volunteer are superb, they are knowledgeable and friendly, and informative, absolute credit to all of them, and thanks. Some make these tours incredibly interesting, so we still valued our guide, but found ourselves doing more research on this property after our visit ... there was so much we discovered, which didn't quite make it on the tour ... but still very interesting to look round this house.

What a beautiful old house this is, all the guides were really friendly and knowledgeable too. Shame the weather was a bit wet today as on a sunny day the garden would be beautiful. It’s national trust property but I believe the garden and cafe are free to enter for all, you’d just need to pay to enter the house if you’re a non member

Loved our visit to Peckover and would definitely recommend.
We followed the instructions on the National Trust site and parked free in a large car park around the corner from the house.
After a short walk around Wisbech, we went to the house for our guided tour. David (our guide) was lovely and very informative. We got to visit more or less every room. The library is a very impressive addition to the house with a lovely chandelier. Make sure you go down to visit the kitchen as I always find old kitchens fascinating. The stairs down are quite narrow and steep so you would need to be careful.
Having a guide was great and far better than having to read lots of information.
Definitely worth a visit. We did need to pre-book but please do not let that put you off.

Despite having lived in the Peterborough area since 1983 and going to or through Wisbech many times, I've never made the effort to visit Peckover House! We finally decided to go, and we weren't disappointed. The guided tour lasted roughly one hour, and the guide provided a wealth of fascinating detail about the history of the house and the people who lived there. Although quite a large townhouse, it is modest in some senses - at least in comparison with most of the stately homes we have visited. As the guide said, there's a mix of different styles of furniture and accessories, but this is because the furniture was auctioned off at some point in the past. The grounds are surprisingly big, covering 2 acres of land in the heart of Wisbech! There's a cafe (unfortunately closed at the time of our visit) with toilets (and more toilets in the basement level), a large greenhouse and an orangery. The flowerbeds were packed with beautiful flowers and an impressive collection of unusual mature trees towered over the gardens.
It's an oasis in the heart of a bustling town and I'd love to go back to visit sometime.

Visited garden only end May, as a stop travelling south. Approx 2 acres well laid out garden with mature trees and shrubs. Small orangery and greenhouse / frames with a good selection of succulents.
Seating in various places. A couple of ponds Worth a visit. Some roses were in flower. Small bookshop and plant sales area and toilets.
No cafe but location is on the edge of town or take a picnic.
Free public parking is available, 5 mins walk from house a rare thing these days.

Absolutely fabulous place to visit, stunning house and garden. The tour guides where wonderful and extremely good with my inquisitive daughter and her many questions. Highly recommend for a lovely day out for adults and kids alike. Don't forget to visit the cafe for yummy brownies, the bookshop for excellent value second hand books and of course the plants section where you can grab a bargain. We enjoyed taking home a lovely fern plant for only £5

It was the first ever NT place where I was treated like a long missing and dearly loved member of family.
Beautiful gardens, excellent tour of the house, lovely tearoom, and wrap of care, which means much more than any gardens in the world.
Thank you for welcoming me with my bike, empty charger, and booking me into the house tour at the last minute.
My visit is one of the most memorable this year and I am sure it will be for years to come.

You need to buy tickets in advance to see inside the house, as they are timed guided tours. This was a first for our family, who are avid National Trust visitors.
The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and amusing. Sharing what felt like family secrets and insider information. We were there with our 9 year old. She was engaged throughout and loved the top floor.
The gardens were absolutely gorgeous and kept in a fabulous condition. There was croquet on the lawn, lovely fountains, and happy gardener volunteers who shared more knowledge.
So much history about Wisbech and the Peckovers and their family. What a great visit.

Historic house and gardens. Superb gardens with a wide range of interesting plants, beautifully kept by the staff and volunteers. Such a surprising garden for a house in the middle of a town.
The house tour brought the history of the house to life. We really enjoyed hearing about the family and their life and times in Wisbech and across the country.
A really good visit, thank you 😎👍👍👍

This was our first visit to Peckover House and it was a good way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The gardens are beautifully kept and cover about 2 acres, so it's not massive but enough for a gentle stroll. There isn't a gift shop or a cafe on-site but we were told that there are cafes nearby that we could use and even bring the food back into the grounds if we so wished. The House can only be viewed on timed guided tours that you have to book before your visit (this also applies to National Trust members). There is a limit of 20 people per tour so make sure you book in advance. There is a wealth of history in the house and our tour guide was excellent and very informative.
There is no parking onsite, but you can park for free at the car park on Chapel Road which is about 270 yards from Peckover House. The toilets are clean and there are baby changing facilities too if you need them.
It wasn't busy when we visited, despite it being a Saturday but I have no idea how busy it gets during school holidays.
A very relaxed way to spend a sunny afternoon.

Lovely intimate National Trust property who comes alive thanks to the enthusiasm of the staff and volunteers.
A wonder calm oasis of a garden, broken down into different areas.
The town house was built in 1722 and the Quaker banker Jonathan Peckover moved into the house in 1794. Bank House, as it was known, remained in the Peckover family for the next 150 years.
Really enjoyed the visit and learning about the Peckover family.

Sadly only pre-booked tours of the house. I prefer to wander and ask questions if I need to. And although the Cafe is open, it is sparse in comparison to how it used to be. Perhaps it needs a new manager. One whose interested in getting more out of the property. It used to be good with lots going on, with Christmas Trees at Christmas from different schools, shops and businesses at over the festive period. Yet now, does very little so nobody is encouraged to go. Though the garden is worth the effort. Thank goodness they have a good gardener.

Although we hadn't booked, a very pleasant volunteer fitted us in to the next house tour & very interesting it was too. Our guide gave a descriptive & often quite funny tour of the house & an insight into it's previous residents. The gardens were an absolute joy & still full of colour. Definitely worth a visit.

I booked a bird of prey experience at Fens Falconry for my dad's birthday and I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was. The facility is perfect and the staff are truly impressive. Belle, in particular, showcased her extensive knowledge and passion for falcons. During the 4-hour experience, we had a close encounter with various native and worldwide falcons, including owls. We also got to handle three birds and witness two birds flying from post to glove in a field.
Hello, a friend and I paid a visit to Fens Falconry yesterday as my friend received a prepaid day experience. It is a private establishment, so booking appointment is essential. Anyway we had a wonderful day holding a couple of falcons and owl. Before taking part in flying the birds under supervision from the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Worth the £35 to see these birds in their natural habitat.

I booked a £35 bird of prey experience for my dad as a birthday gift and my expectations were massively exceeded! The facility is perfect and the staff are amazing! In particular Belle who demonstrated very impressively her knowledge and passion for the falcons. The 4 hours was spent with a impressive up close talk of the dozen or more native and worldwide falcons inc owls on display, then a handling of 3 birds, then an experience of 2 birds from post to the glove in a field, then finally a field flying magnificent display of a Steppe Eagle and my favourite Peregrine falcon. Huge thank you to the team for an experience I’m sure would be unrivalled anywhere else in the UK!

This was my second experience at Fen's Falconry and it was excellent again! We went for the evening Owl Experience. Belle was fabulous- so friendly and interesting and the owls were all utterly gorgeous! We got to see them all in action and very close up, had Ra the handsome tawny fly to our glove and hold Wensleydale. To add to that we toasted marshmallows on the fire and had some hot drinks to warm up as dusk fell. Would highly recommend!

Took my husband to Fens Falconry in Wisbech on Saturday for a birthday present, he loved it and so did I, it was such a good experience we both had such a good time getting up so close to these beautiful bird's it was brilliant. When we were allowed to fly the birds and feed them it was even better and Connor the person who was in charge of the group was very informative and knew his stuff, and would highly recommend anyone to do this, but well worth a visit.

We were given a voucher for Xmas for a Falconry Experience for 2. We received an in-depth introduction to each of the birds, then we were able to have some photos with the birds on our arms after a safety talk. Finally we were able to fly some of the birds in the arena and watch the handlers fly some birds too. Absolutely brilliant day, lovely staff, would highly recommend.

Small private establishment, but with plenty of birds in well kept conditions. Great for getting up close and personal to all type of birds of prey.
Large display ground for in-flight action. You get to handle and feed them in a relaxed environment.
Small groups only (max 6 I think) so you get lots of turns.
Free coffee, tea and biccies. Picnic area near birds. After the experience you can wonder around and have another look at the birds at your leisure.
Highly recommended.

Elgood & Sons Ltd is a family-run brewery that has been brewing ale since 1795. The gardens are stunning and well tended, and the beers are excellent. The only downside is that there isn't much labelling on the plants, making it difficult to identify all of them. This place is definitely worth a visit!
Fabulous gardens, easily on a par with any of the great gardens, such as Wisley, Villandry, etc.
As well as the shrubs and flowers, they also have a collection of exceptional trees.
Cleverly laid out and planted with lots of secluded spots where you could easily while away the day reading or doing a crossword.
The only thing that could probably be improved upon would be providing labelling on all plants.

Had our wedding at The Hop Rooms recently, and can honestly say could not have picked a better venue. Beautifully decorated, and the gardens speak for themself. The staff have been wonderful from very initial enquiry to the final seconds of the day, but special mention to Jayne who completely went above and beyond to ensure that our day was everything we had visioned and more. Anyone planning on getting married you could not ask for a more wonderful setting, and staff who will make sure your fairytale wedding dreams come true, like they did mine.

Manor Farm Woodland Walks/Cakes And Bakes(Railway Carriage Tea Room)
The Manor Farm Woodland Walks/Cakes And Bakes (Railway Carriage Tea Room) is a charming nature preserve that offers a unique and delightful experience. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful stroll through the woodland, surrounded by serene and tranquil surroundings. The tea room, located in a converted railway carriage, provides an ideal setting for a family afternoon tea or celebration. The attentive staff ensures that every detail is taken care of, including personalized decorations and birthday accessories.
Lovely little place to visit for a walk. Went with the family including one year old and dog. Had a nice walk, then lovely cakes/cheese scone - really delicious, and great choice! Allowed cash or PayPal/transfer payment too. The one year old loved playing in the play area.

Stayed at Laneys Place, which is their upcoming camp site. We stayed in one of their tents with chairs, double bed, and log burner. Tea, coffee, sugar, and milk along with mugs and spoon were waiting for us. Back to basics camping, no electric hook up or frills, the joy comes from the beautiful surroundings, clear skies at night, and the hoot of owls. It was going to be a cold night, so they brought extra wood for the burner and hot water bottles. In the evening, the lights and exta touches come alive. Breakfast in the morning was delicious in a beautiful old railway carriage. I know all of their hard work and passion continue to make this place even more special. I will be visiting again and can't wait to see how it develops.

Excellent open fields and woods to take the family or just walk the dog. Lovely staff/ owners and fantastic home made food and drinks. Free to get in and walk around you just pay for the food and drinks if you want any. There is a lovely kids play area. You can leave a donation to say thankyou to them if you wish also. There is now a New Mini Obstacle course in doggy training field. This area can be hired out. Overall really nice on a lovely sunny day like this.

Lovely walks around the naturally landscaped area. Also secure field to allow dogs to be exercised off their lead.
The cakes in the cafe are huge and tasty.
The Motorhome and Campervan spaces are quiet overnight. The wildlife is interesting to watch.

We took over the railway carriage last Sunday for a family afternoon tea to celebrate our Mum's birthday (14 of us!). Hayley and her team got everything spot on, and happily included the birthday banners, candles, etc, that I had brought. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed a combination of traditional & savoury plates, the vegetarian alternatives, and the copious amounts of tea and coffee that were refreshed frequently!. We did the woodland walk afterwards, and the children made full use of the playground. It was excellent, and we will definitely do it again. Thank you Hayley!

Great place for an afternoon stroll with the family. Unfortunately due to the pesky covid situation the tea room wasn't open so am not able to give feedback on this. We were greeted by a very friendly chap who I presume was the owner who explained he would normally give a guided tour but was unable to as he was busy, we didn't mind this as we like to explore.

NOT A DOG WALK. Very disappointing. Don't know the area and this was the first place to come up on Google as a dog walk. Dogs are not allowed off lead. Very short walk.
Arrived with my mother at 3.30pm on a sunny Saturday, we were the only car there, very short walk around 3 small woodland areas, a house, caravan and 2 yurts.
Spoke to a staff member when we arrived who advised the walk can be confusing so to take a picture of the map. Advised there is a tea room also. Tea room was closed at 3pm. Allowed my well behaved spaniel off lead in the woodland, whilst putting him back on lead to go back across the road 1 staff member called my dog over to pet but an older woman said "Put your dog on lead" which I did. Carried on walking and let the dogs off in the empty woodland. As the walk took 15/20 mins only when we got back to the empty open field I threw the ball 3-4 times for the dogs. A man (presumably the owner) came over to us shouting across the empty field that we needed to put the dogs on lead. They immediately recalled and went back on lead. Not being satisfied with this, he came over to us and was very angry. Told us that my mother and I were the worst dog walkers he'd met and was angry that the dogs had been off lead. We asked why he was so angry and he said it was because its private property and we were upsetting the wildlife. I find it bizarre that 2 well behaved dogs in an empty open field would upset the wildlife anymore than the child's play area, tea room and hundreds of cars that come and go on the property.
Unfortunate. Good for children and tea between the specific hours of 11-3 but if you have a dog I would give it a wide berth.
The indoor playground Play2Day (Wisbech) provides a pleasant surprise for visitors with its clean facilities and friendly staff. Families of four may find the cost slightly expensive, but there is potential for deals to be made when purchasing food and drinks. The play area is a good size which includes an appealing toddler section. However, it would benefit from more supervision especially on the bouncy castle where many children are left unsupervised leading to potential accidents.
Great visit with grand children. They loved it. Plenty to do for them. Lunch menu available. Covid aware, all clean equipment. Played bowls next door very good too. Plenty of time allowed in Soft Play. Worth booking ahead, good time out for all. Well worth the visit. Staff very helpful & cheerful

It's a good sized play area and has a lovely toddler section too. However I don't like the fact that nobody supervises? At one point I counted 30 children on the bouncy castle, big children and tiny tots being knocked all over. I think if they made sure it was supervised more then it would be an amazing place.

Staff all polite and helpful, bowling was good fun and u can wear trainers so no need for horrible bowling shoes.

The equipment is excellent in that there is so much to do! Lots for toddlers, and a bouncy castle, mini football pitch, drop slide and heaps to climb on and run/ slide around on. Adults can join in (very important!) Could do with replacing some soft floorings where they're worn.
Staff were friendly, and we had a little treasure hunt too. My children love it there!

We was pleasantly surprised by our visit today. We had a good time bowling. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. It cost us £24 for a family of 4. There is blowing last year, and soft play at this place. We enjoyed bowling first(need to call up to book this), then went and did soft play (can book this online). It has been nearly a year since visiting here and I am pleased to say they have a role play area now where the bouncy castle used to be, and my son loved it. Soft play area is great for a range of ages, looks a little tired, bit that is probably due to amount of use and how long it has been in. My son loved going in the soft play, and was hard to get him out to go home. 🙂 I would definitely recommend going here to let the kids let off steam and give your a rest.

Have not been for a while but so impressed with the additions since the last time we were here.
There is now a really good play village for under 7s at the back which has been so well thought out and I'm sure there are now more tables and chairs around as seating could be a bit tricky before, bit now there are lots to choose from.
They could have just left everything as it was and continued as they were, but the fact they have invested more into improving the facilities and adding to what is here speaks volumes to me.
Nice to see people that care about thier business and customers and not just concerned with lining thier own pockets!

Was told when we arrived we needed to book online?and we had to wait to enter the play centre. Other places we have been to allow you to have your own food . This place doesn't they rather you pay there extortionate prices. Not the most cleanest of places and staff are not very friendly. Won't be taking my services here again.
Really neat little town museum with a very eclectic collection and well informed volunteers. It's recently been through a big renovation which is great to see.

Small but interesting local museum, with an impressively eclectic collection, the Hugh point being amgbe original manuscript if Dickens great expectations. Unfortunately not best layout for those with limited mobility. While a lift is available to first floor, the gallery requires climbing a quite steep staircase.
Good for a wander on day out, but not enough to justify a full day out. Luckily Wisbech has enough to add to this to make a fill an itinerary.

Love this little old museum always something going on. It's not the natural history museum I know but there's so much to learn about our Fenland roots. Unless things have changed the best thing it's free to get in. Now that's a bargain you to can't refuse. Find out how the Romans drained the fens. How the Dutch come later and drained the rest. The fens is an amazing place it's like one of the wonders of the world. So why you wait, go and see for yourself. Honesty as always my lovelys, have a great time xxxx
Barry “Baza T” Thompson — Google review
A fine museum of the old school variety. Tens of thousands of artifacts behind wavy glass cases. It's ideal for the quick visit to see a few items of local interest at a time.
In an odd way, it's ideal for children. It doesn't require attention span to enjoy and wisely there is good dinosaur section!
The slave trade exhibit is handled well. Few politics and much empathy. Children will grasp the essentials quickly.
For adults the displays are eclectic and well connected to Fens life of the last few thousand years. It would take dozens of visits to check out each item.
For those wanting serious research, book a time with the curator to use the search room. Commercial, legal and parish records available no other way are here. The curator himself knows the questions you didn't know to ask.
Admission is free but be sure to leave 5£ per adult in the gift box to sustain this local treasure.

What an amazing little place. I say little but it is packed with exhibits. And the volunteers have such a wealth of knowledge and are happy to share it with you as you move around. Set in a little oasis in the middle of Wisbech adjacent to the crescent and Wisbech Castle. Its only £5 for an adult which buys you a years membership and only donations are asked for during that year should you wish. If you're able bodied parking at Horsefair is free for 3 hours and only 50p an hour after that and its only a 5 minute walk through the town to the museum. We'll worth a visit.

Since being leased by the Wisbech town council an army of volunteers have been busy making good the years of appalling neglect by the County council.
Shrubs that have been allowed to grow on walls destabilising them with their roots and undermining the walls and leaves blocking gutters and drains.
The county council appear to have been poor custodians of this historic building.
Looked forward to it being fully open to the public.
It has been open for four days for The Garden of Curious A’musement and this event was well attended and received complimentary responses on their Facebook page.

A lovely place, so much history. Great volunteer team keeping it going. Well worth taking the tour. They are still in the throws of restoration so will definitely be going back as work progresses.

Have lived in Wisbech for 6 years+ often wanted to visit the Castle. Took the opportunity yesterday as was an Open day to celebrate an earlier dig in the grounds. I normally find positive's in most corners of life but sadly my visit to the castle was very disappointing. Fran+ grey, like the weather, there was little to see+ appearance was of something very thrown together at last moment. On the up side. The experts+ volunteer's were extremely pleasent+ very knowledgeable.

Loved the Easter fun day arranged for young children. My grandson loved the face painting, the hunt for Teddy bears and eggs and the making rooms.

It was the Easter weekend and I must admit that I wasn't expecting too much but they had worked really hard on the venue and the kids had great fun!

There is no longer a "castle" but a house purchased by council being renovated. There will in time be a cafe and they hope to renovate and open prison to the public. When asking the locals where is wisbech castle the reply was what castle or didnt know there was a castle.
Every visit we are greeted by incredibly friendly smiley and chatty staff! Very polite and helpful. Me and my daughter really enjoy our library visits 😊

If you want to start a business this is a good/great/excellent place to start. Fact
They do books too and you can borrow the books and you can take more than one and they are clean and you can use a machine to take them out and not get judge on your choice. I know.
Use or lose it people

I've found a car parking place, each time I have visited, on the crescent. Drop down pavement outside with automatic doors. Screens available at different heights, for children and wheelchair users. Taking out and renewing books easy. Have not needed to request a book or borrowed a DVD or CD, but this looks easy too. The staff are available to register you for a library card and give help. You just need a bill with your name and address or driving license or something similar. Both members of staff I have spoken to have been friendly and helpful. Computers seem very popular. Children's area has chairs for them to sit and enjoy the books. There are activities for each child dependent on their age. Encouraging reading and writing about books.

Staff very helpful and knowledgeable inside clean and tidy..... down side, there there is pigeon poo all over the pavement as nesting or resting above door

Good set of hard working volunteers. I have put a few photos on of some of the grounds you will visit next season. Eastwood, Heanor, Leicester Nirvana, Kimberly MW and Selston. Good luck next season.
Alan Savage — Google review
OK, for the level, obviously not as good as their old ground.
Andrew Molden — Google review
It’s an ok club. Car park and access to the stadium is straight forward and simple. The bar is dated with only one TV, no 12:30 kick off on tele for those who get there early. The bar itself is severely understaffed. There’s a stand on the opposite side of the pitch that was perfectly fine, the pitch was in fine playing condition. Those on the gate, and the supporters within the stadium were generally friendly. Food was alright. Facilities were ok too. A elderly supporter frustrated me with his comments - non racist, but derogatory. Difficult to take out on the look of the club, but the manager was also very rude to the linesman and referee, which whilst I appreciate the game can be frustrating, I felt he stepped over the line.
Ryan Illidge-Breen — Google review
OK non league ground. Bar service terrible. Not enough staff to deal with Saturday afternoon supporters.
John Dunkley — Google review
We visited for lunch as a party of 5 ordering lasagne, cottage pie, burger and 2 filled jacket potatoes. All were served piping hot and were delicious. Super cheap too. Less than £50 for all 5 meals and 2 soft drinks. Very clean and lovely polite, efficient staff. Highly recommend a visit.

Pluses: Lovely ground, Great food, some decent fans, great car parking.
Negatives: Pitch was awful (but credit the staff for getting it playable). One fan took it upon himself to punch one of our injured players. Cue mayhem. Soured the afternoon as did the constant moaning by the home end.
Lovely old church and gardens. Nice place to take your lunch to sit in the sun, if you don’t mind all the random old graves stones laying about.
Chris Gledhill — Google review
Located in the historic area of Wisbech, surrounded by a pleasant garden / cemetery.
The church was founded in the 12th century and has a stately feel to it.
It has a lovely area dedicated to the Ukrainian community.

A lovely church in the town centre close to the museum and castle.
Lovely award winning gardens and has amazing Rose Fair displays of flowers.

Found this church by accident, but once inside provide to be quite interesting to walk around. The nearest parking is of King's Walk across the gardens. The building is a mixture of styles with memorial to the prisoners of in the far east.
Michael Twinn (Mick) — Google review
Beautiful church has a lovely feel on entering and don't want to leave. Church still has the old pews. Visit every year for Rosefair sadly has been cancelled this year July 2020

The Clarkson Memorial in Wisbech stands out among rural towns for its unique characteristics. It pays homage to Thomas Clarkson, an often overlooked figure in history, who hailed from Wisbech and played a prominent role in the abolitionist movement. This memorial commemorates the triumph of Clarkson and his peers and was skillfully crafted by George Gilbert Scott, renowned architect of St Pancras railway station.
The Angles Theatre is a charming, vintage playhouse that exudes character. Despite its small size, the stage is positioned right in front of the audience, creating an intimate experience with the actors. The venue also boasts a bar where patrons can enjoy drinks before, during, and after performances. Visitors are consistently delighted by their visits to this fantastic little theater and eagerly anticipate future shows. The facility offers good amenities such as a comfortable seating area and a well-stocked bar for intermission refreshments.
What a great theatre the local dramatic society really put on great shows what a fantastic evening watching snow #hite rotten to the core we haven't laughed so much in ages keep up the good work

Had a wonderful time watching Six, the musical (teen version). Very professional production for a small provincial theatre
Kevin Clayton — Google review
This is a really quant old theatre with loads of character. It is not a big place and the stage is just the floor in front of the seats but it brings you closer to the actors. There is also a bar there for pre, during and after drinks. We have been there twice now and cannot wait to go back to see another show. Thank you to everyone there.
simon callicott — Google review
Fantastic little venue with good facilities, can't believe I haven't been before. Nice seating area and bar while you wait, also for halftime. Panto was well done and Actors were great with off stage interaction due to Covid. Looking forward to our next show
Steve Wilson — Google review
Absolutely fabulous! Tiny, intimate and very friendly Theatre that has a lot of youth productions and apparently also does Panto. Well appointed, with very helpful staff. Highly recommended, and a true little gem.

Watched the half term performance by children. They really enjoyed the one day workshops. This is a Georgian Period Theatre, one of the oldest in the country. Looking forward to the illustrated talk on the history of the theatre on April 20th.
The Horsefair Shopping Centre provides a pleasant and satisfying experience with its convenient location near the bus station. It offers an enjoyable opportunity to explore various shops and markets, while also providing free parking for visitors. Unlike other places like Doncaster where the council imposes charges for parking, this shopping centre ensures that people can spend their time and money on browsing and shopping without any additional expenses. Visitors can always expect a nice atmosphere and a chance to look around when they visit this well-situated shopping mall.
Very nice shopping centre conveniently near bus station and parking.
I always have a look around and a browse when I am here.

Not so much a Shopping centre more a Shopping Precinct.
This however is the best part of Wisbech town centre.

Around 12 years ago, I was a part of Wisbech Rugby Union Football Club's second team. I developed a deep affection for the club, its players, coaching staff, and all those involved. Being a player and becoming a member of this close-knit community filled me with pride. I proudly wore my Wisbech RFC jacket throughout the town, displaying my connection to the club. Even now, I continue to utilize and cherish my club tie.
Great rugby club, nice facilities, bar and seating area, friendly staff

The Wisbech Society led project has refurbished this old chapel that Fenland District council removed the roof from in order to prevent it being used by rough sleepers.
Now it has cost £100,000s to restore.

Sad and mysterious to walk through monuments meant to stand through time but now in only a century so worn down to illegibility and overrun with weeds. Sic transit gloria mundi.
All credit to those volunteers working to roll back time and make a beautiful park to contemplate life. Well done!

A place of reflection and interest. Atmospheric and a social history gem. Worth a few minutes of your time.
Good building nice area be better if they could do something about the roads nothing but pot holes for the county council to run the place they should get it done sooner rather than later
