A very nice store with very nice service-people.
Surprisingly, they had a very large selection of wallets including the latest LV x Yayoi Kusama collaboration.

Almost bought a purse and a belt until the lady of the store though I stole a wallet... instead of looking around (because it was at the counter) she accuses a costumer!

Excellent instructors….my wife had zero experience skiing and felt very comfortable and capable after her ski classes. Instructors were professional, polite and friendly. Made it a fun experience. Highly recommend!

The service of ski school and ease of communication during booking are great. What we did not like is the low payment they give to instructors although they are the most expensive ski school in the area. Second thing is that taking full day at Element3 means 4 hours as with other school we have was full day until we were willing to ski.

Their service is outstanding. Our little one loved his instructor who was not only an instructor but a fine young man that attended to the needs of a 7y old. Nothing but good words for their service and accommodation.

For our third year, element3 once again delivered over our expectations. We did six days of private lessons with seasoned instructor Helga, who was a motivational, caring and engaging coach. Well done!
Philip Behn — Google review
After reading all the good reviews, our private lesson was unfortunately not as expected. Basically we followed the teacher for 2 hours while doing 2 exercises of 3 min. max. We did not receive any feedback during the lesson, also after asking for any tips. After complaining at the office, the only thing they offered was another lesson with another teacher, but this did not fit our schedule as we had to leave the next day. No refund was offered for our 240 euro lesson, although the lesson was not what we expected at all :(

My instructor was Nikki. She is an amazing professional who understands the needs of learners and adjusts to it. Her approach is great and besides teaching me basics of skiing (I was there for two days only), she made me motivated to continue, even though I am not a snow person. My experience is great and I would highly recommend Nikki as a skiing instructor.

Element 3 in Kitzbühel: is excellent- We had a super teacher, Thomas from Tyrol. He was FANTASTIC and a great teacher. We had two people ie students on the weekend ; it was a top class experience; we both learnt so much from Thomas. Top class guy! Anouk from Element 3 advised us and organized this for us;
The KitzSki mountain cable car is a popular winter sports destination that boasts a diverse range of challenging skiing and snowboarding slopes. Located in a picturesque and welcoming town, visitors can enjoy good quality lifts, well-groomed runs, and delicious food at the base and huts. The resort is sprawling with plenty of opportunities to find quieter corners even during peak times. Skiers looking to improve their skills will appreciate the several small black sections on the Kirchberg side.
Really great ski station with so many lifts and slopes that is perfect place for a week trip to see at least part of it ❄️☀️⛷️🥰

Skiing was pretty good except for the fact that the buses that are supposed to take you back were not running between the stations. Had to find a taxi to bring us back to Pass Thurn

It's a nice ski resort especially for skiers who want to improve. There are several small black sections especially on the Kirchberg side. The lifts were a bit crowded in the morning but the resort is quite big and it's not hard to find quieter corners (even during weekends).

First time experiencing the Kitzski area. Its a very large ski area with lots of variation and long valley runs. The lifts are all very modern, amlost every lift is a 6-8 seater with weather bubble and heated seating. Only major con for me is the low elevation. Also didnt like the bus connections in the spring season.
Conclusion:
+ very well connected and modern lifts
+ huge area, (+connection to Wilder Kaiser)
+ long valley runs
+ strong snowmaking
+ lots of amazing ski huts with delicious food
- low elevation, not very snow sure (booking half a year in advance is not advised), valley runs might not be open,
- some lifts (p.ex Fleckalmbahn) open at 8am but the first bus goes at 8:15am from Kirchberg (8:28am after 10. March)
- online info not always reliable: weather stations show error, runs marked open that are closed in real. Also some runs that looked still good were closed without a reason.
- expensive ski area
- from 10. March on only 1 bus every hour between Pengelstein and Ki-West lifts

If I could I would give ZERO!!! Slopes are not prepared. At 11am there are extreme mulds and ice. Would not recommend. Do not choose this region for skiing!!!!

Chaos! They shut the cable car link between Jochberg and Kitzbühel (the weather seemed quite benign to me, but I'm not complaining about this), leaving hundreds of skiers stranded on the wrong side of the resort. There were no messages on the mountain about what to do, but luckily others seemed to know. So we skied down to Jochberg to find hundreds of people waiting for a bus. None came. The cable car shut early in the day, so why was there no contingency plan? Tiny busses came and went, already quite full on arrival. Eventually we squeezed onto one with our kids, which was dangerously full, people being thrown around every time the bus turned. We arrived home 2 hours later. What a complete joke. Surely this must happen quite a lot and why do they not have a plan for it. On subsequent days we did not want to ski to the other side of the resort in case it happened again. Unfortunately this officially l probably means we won't visit the resort again. It's crazy busy in any case.

Great resort with good lifts in a nice, quiet, beautiful and welcoming town. Was there during the week and it was not very crowded. Good food at base and huts. The runs were well groomed. The only regret is they we didn’t have more time there. Will definitely return. Loved staying at Gamshof hotel!

We had the chance to ski for 2 days. it was a great weather and the slopes are georgeus. There are many different lifts available. If you want to see all the slopes, one day is not enough, you can only ski the whole mountain in 3-4 days. There are restaurants in many different points. A great destination for a ski holiday. Daily skipass in peak season is 65 euro per person

Its just about 300 meters from Kitzbühel center. Thera is a big parking and rental ski shops just next to it. Within 15 minutes you can reach the top of the mountain. The scenary and the ride to the top is so breathtaking!!

Very nice place. The ticket is about 25 EUR but the view is splendid. It feels a bit expensive in summer however the view is very nice. There is no vegetarian restaurant at the mountain top. Hence I would suggest to carry our own food at mountain top. You might want to eat something at mountain top considering the view , which is fabulous. However only drinks are served which is not do good during lunch time.
Nice hike, but be aware of extra parking fee at the hahnenkamm bahn. There is a sign at the parking saying free parking with lift ticket.
I have the tirol summer lift ticket so thought everything was ok, but when we came down with the lift after our hike and tried to exit the parking area the machine kept saying wrong parking area when using our lift tickets, so we ended up having to pay extra for the parking
Kitz-Ski was a great place to learn to ski. Our ski instructor, Kristofer, was very professional and made the lessons fun. We were absolute beginners and after three morning lessons we were able to ski independently on the mountain runs. The ski school was flexible and didn’t charge us for the pre-booked lessons that we cancelled due to illness.

Do not book for 3 year olds for 4 hours - they can not do it and will tell you on day they won’t accept and will give have to give refund. So waste of money and time (and wasted full day ski passes as welll). Really rude about it as well

I had a great experience at the beginners course for adults! Our instructor (I always forget his name, blonde, tall and Dutch) was the most patient guy ever and knew exactly what to do. Groups were split later on, depending on skill level. That way, the instructors could really focus on you individually. By the third day, I was decent enough at skiing to only fall once.
The booking is flexible, service is great and prizes are absolutely reasonable.

Steven and Silka were amazing instructors, kind, fun, caring and really supportive. As a group of 3 families with 6 adults and 8 children, from 11 to 16 years of age and no previous experience skiing, we have achieved so much from our week with Rote Teufel. From starting on the nursery slopes hardly able to put our skis on progressing to skiing over 20km on our last day with smiles on all our faces. Anka helped us with our booking by email and was so patient as we had so many questions being complete beginners. We would highly recommend Rote Teufel and particularly Steven and Silka, two superstars. Thank you for making our holiday so much fun and creating a new love for a new sport.

Initially I signed my 4 year old twins up for classes at a different ski school which got cancelled last minute. I thus proceeded to book a class with Rote Teufel. I have to admit I was super reluctant to send my kids to this school having read all the negative reviews here. Our experience fortunately was the total opposite. Upon arrival one of the instructor took the time to ask my kids about their skiing skills in order to place them in the right group. He was super friendly and forthcoming. Kids then had a great morning skiing. There were 4 instructors present who all spoke English as well as German. They were all really nice and sweet with the kids. Cheering them on and always around when needed. My girl enjoyed it that much that after lunch she asked to continue with the class in the afternoon. We had only booked the morning class but it was no problem to add more hours. They were really flexible and accommodating.
I don't know if we were just lucky but my kids really had an awesome time with the Rote Teufel and have asked to go back.
Just wanted to share in case someone else is also hesitant due to the bad reviews. I'd say give it a shot. Definitely payed off for us.

We recently used this ski school for a private lesson for our daughter and myself , due to the weather and sickness we had to reschedule the lesson twice!!Victoria on the main desk could not of been kinder or more helpful and found us Ryan an English speaking ski instructor who was fantastic. He explained all the technical side of skiing which my daughter had missed out on having only had one ski lesson in 6 weeks of skiing . Her style and confidence improved so much that by that afternoon I could no longer keep up with her !!! Thank you Viktoria and Ryan for being brilliant

It's completely unclear what system they use to give out trainers. The second time I come to Kitz and always give silly young trainers, who are asking for tips during classes (I already paid 1200€ for 5 days), telling how they like beer and après-ski... I am a beginner and I want to ride with an experienced person, not a 17-year-old boy who just graduated from school... and can not explain anything.
Also, it is unclear why we were not immediately given Russian-speaking instructors, because they were free and they are adults and very experienced. Very glad that I have changed my trainer. It's much nicer to work in my native language! Ludmila and Flora are best!!!
I think that the school administration should think more...when they give not-experienced young trainers to beginners, because it's fraught with danger.

He is very patient and very precise in his explanations. Great experience!
Alpenhaus Kitzbüheler Horn is a charming spot offering traditional cuisine and a cozy sun terrace with breathtaking panoramic views. The restaurant also features a wide range of souvenirs, from T-shirts to mineral stones, making it an ideal place to pick up mementos. While it may be considered touristy, the amazing vistas and reasonable prices make it worth a visit. Families will appreciate the kid-friendly atmosphere and ample portions of comfort food.
Awful weather day but we drove to the top. Any mountain restaurant is welcoming but here even more so.

Solid food, friendly staff, and very kid friendly. It probably doesn’t rise to the level of a true destination restaurant, but if you are going to be going up the mountain anyway, you don’t have to worry about going up during mealtimes and not being able to get something to eat. The views are good and the kids will like the relaxed atmosphere and unchallenging comfort food. As I’ve noted elsewhere, like the rest of Austria, it can be challenging to find a vegetarian option and the only vegan option is a glass of water.

If you take the street up the mountain you will get a voucher for consumption when you pay the Maut.. the restaurant is the final end of the street. It is nice to walk up until the top of the mountain, spend some time in the mountain garden, enjoy the view and after the hike ( yes it is more than a small walk) you take something at the nice terrace.. the food is nothing exceptional but due to the endorphins in your blood everything leaves back a happy feeling
The Kitzbüheler Horn is a mountain peak that stands at an elevation of 1,996 meters. It boasts various attractions such as cable cars, gondola lifts, skiing, hiking trails and even an alpine garden. One can easily recognize the mountain from a distance due to the television tower of the Austrian radio station. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Kitzbüheler Alpen from its summit.
The best place to experience amazing views all around. And if you are doing skiing this is a very famous ski hotspot as well. You can take the cable car and easily reach the top. Or you can take hiking trails from the middle station of the cable car to the top as well. View from the top are absolutely breathtaking.

The Kitzbüheler Horn (also spelt Kitzbühler Horn) is one of the most important mountains in the Kitzbühel Alps in Tyrol, Austria, whose eastern flank lies near the smart ski resort of Kitzbühel. With a height of 1,996 m (AA) it only just misses being a 'two-thousander'. At the summit is a 102 metre high TV tower belonging to the ORF and known as the Kitzbüheler Horn Transmission Tower (Sendeturm Kitzbüheler Horn). The Harschbichl (1,604 m) is a sub-peak to the north which is also accessible. The mountain has several cable cars and gondola lifts and there is a panoramic toll road from Kitzbühel. There are also several mountain inns on its slopes. The so-called Alpenhaus (1,670 m (AA), 47°28′01″N 12°25′45″E) was in recent years the finish of the King Stage (Königsetappe) of the Tour of Austria cycle race. An Alpine flower garden (Alpenblumengarten) has been laid out at a height of 1800 m which, despite its name, has mountain plants from all over the world. Every year in August the International Kitzbühler Horn Race takes place. The route runs along the 7.4 km long toll road to the Alpenhaus. Its maximum incline in the closing stages is 22.4%. The record time to the Alpenhaus is held by Beat Bräu who completed the race in a time of 29:11 minutes. Numerous lifts have been built to support winter sports in the ski region of the same name. On the side facing St. Johann there is a mountain cart route. There is a small mountain lake level with the half-way station on the cable car from the village. Both peaks are heavily frequented, not just by hikers, but also by mountain bikers due to its good paths.

This is the highest point in the Kitzbühel area which can be reached by cable car. I took a cable car from Kitzbühel and a second one from the intermediate station at Pletzeralm. In total the cost was 29 Euros, less a 15% discount for over 65's on a Tuesday. I loved the gondola rides and the views. The hotel on the top was closed when I visited, else I would have stayed even longer.
Ian Yates — Google review
Located at an altitude of 1,998 meters, Kitzbuheler Horn in the Tyrol region is one of the most beautiful peaks of the mountains in Austria. This peak can be accessed via a cableway through Pletzeralm or you can climb from the Kitzbuhel countryside. The peak has a very beautiful view. South of Kitzbuheler there is a 1,772-meter Hornkopfli peak which can also be reached by a cableway.
In addition to the beautiful scenery, at its peak we will find Gipfelhaus, a unique mountain peak house, with a chapel, a restaurant, and an Alpine garden. During the ski season, the mountains are full of skiers from all over the world.

Beautiful road bike climb, only 7.1km (well marked along the road) .. one of the steepest in Austria… get ready for some suffering to the top, but it is worth it!

There are many ways to the top. As a hiker my favourite is to start from the south end of Kitzbühel, climb up by Hagstein, Adlerhütte, then to the summit. Enjoy a beer while you take in the views of Hahnenkamm and the Wilder Kaiser. Then make your way down the north side to Harschbichl. If you still have the energy keep going to St. Johann. If not, take the cable car. Then go to the train station and back to Kitz. If time permits and you have a large appetite (you will) have dinner at the Hubertbräu tower restaurant.

Fantastic place to stay.
After a day out skiing, to come to the hotel and enjoy a warm welcome , a big , clean and warm room, and then use the swimming pool and the other facilities, is something you don't experience every time to stay in the hotel.
Downstairs is a huge bar area where you can have a drink and chat .
They offer as well a play area for adults and kids.
And, how can I forgot the food.
Is look like the gods of chefs are cooking in the kitchen.
Esquisite food accomplished by fantastic drinking make you stay at the hotel even more memorable.
The deals to stay at the hotel includes half board, which is a plus.
So, if you afford or you are lucky to find a deal online, go for it, and you will won't regret it !
Geani — Google review
The main areas of the hotel are beautiful, as is the view from the pool on the 7th floor, but it was so hot in the pool area and the only water to drink was hot water out of a sink. Would have really like cold water or ice.
We stayed in a larger room w a tub. It was okay. The king bed had two small comforters and no sheet, so it wasn't that comfortable and not enough water provided for people who come up to higher altitudes.
Dinner was always full except for 830 p.m. Even those the lounge and bar had seats open, and we were so hungry after skiing all day. Also, there was no food to eat for three hours between breakfast (which we didn't eat) and lunch, so we were pretty miserable, hungry, and parched. I'm not sure why they don't have a cafe or serve to the bar area during dinner or throughout the day. We had work calls so we couldn't leave and go to town one day which made it tough. Also, I don't know why they stopped the van transport to town at 5 pm during the main ski season. The taxis were fine, and they gave you their hotel card and number to call so they know where to go and are about 12 euros, but you'd think with their dinner always being booked that they'd take you to town until after dinner was over.
The man at the ski rental shop was very nice and helpful as were the front desk people.

The hotel damaged my skis and are refusing to pay for the required repairs/replacement or even respond to my emails despite accepting liability for the damage and promising a quick resolution. The ski shuttle bus does not have secure fastenings for skis and the hotel loaded my skis which then fell off the back and smashed on the road behind. If we hadn't alerted the hotel driver he would've continued driving. A huge lack of apology for the heavy damage caused and still no resolution despite returning home over a month ago now. Terrible customer service and lack of respect and care for expensive equipment. If you are looking to ski this is not the hotel for you, very long wait and unreliable shuttle service which often didn't have enough seats for everyone. Overall as a result of the damage and slow shuttle service our week away was not relaxing at all and the saga continues with the lack of contact. Extremely disappointed.

A large resort hotel with a great pool and sauna area. We stayed with half board during the early ski season. We booked a junior suite and it was quite spacious as we assumed. Though the room was clean, the room was a bit outdated.
The dining staffs were all very great; especially all the bar and breakfast staffs. Attentive, kind and quick to any of our requests.
Except one evening. Our server was slow to serve our table specifically. Recommended wine with very short explanation, ‘nice cab’ to pair with our meat. I asked for it, and he brought two glasses and poured them immediately without tasting. We did not like that he did not ask, but we went with it since we were there to enjoy. It turned out that it was the most expensive glass on the menu. Nothing crazy, but just a little courtesy would have been appreciated.
The shuttle to the Hahnenkammbahn ran regularly and timely. One time, on our way back to the hotel, a couple waved hands at the driver to pick them up. The driver stopped amid the street and let them in. Right at the moment of the improvised pickup, the driver pushed me, who was sitting in the passenger seat, on my arms asking for something I could not understand. I just stayed in my seat, and the couple settled in other spare seats in the back of the minivan. On our way back, the driver complained/explained that he cannot pick them up on streets because the city and the police will not be happy about this. The generosity may be appreciated, but he was repeatedly yelling at the poor couple who said ‘okay’ and that they didn’t understand German. I still wonder what the driver wanted from me.
To add one more incident, after the cleaning staff already made a visit to our room in the morning, there was another visit in the afternoon. Without a knock or notification, the staff entered in our presence to water the plants on the balcony.

Schöner Bau und gepflegte Anlage. Zentral gelegen und belebter Ort.
The Museum Kitzbühel is a superb gallery that offers a unique focus on the history of the city, showcasing an array of paintings and exhibits dedicated to skiing and winter sports. The museum features an independent history of Kitzbühel's development, with particular emphasis on Alpine Skiing. Visitors can enjoy viewing the inspiring works of Austrian artist Alfons Walde showcased within the museum.
great museum on kb history and mainly Walde art and collection. nice building, beautiful made.

Can’t honestly recommend this museum. It is quite small and doesn’t really do a good job of explaining Kitzbuhel’s history or relevance to anyone who’s not from here.
Think of the 6.50 charge as a contribution to the town’s upkeep.

January 2022, Superb museum / gallery exhibiting the work of the Austrian Artist Alfons Walde. There is also an independent history of the town of Kitzbuhel and the development of Alpine Skiing. Well worth a visit.
June 2022, still worth a repeat visit to see again the ever inspiring work of Alfons Walde.

An excellent museum with lots of interesting exhibits and information about the local area and its history. The paintings were especially good. The one downside is that there are no toilets in the museum. It costs 7 euros to enter.

Fine local museum with changing exhibitions. Several floors, mainly regional works and exhibits. Currently, 2.9.2018 an excellent display of Tyrolean paintings by Walde, well worth seeing.

The commemorative plaque shows the successes of athletes such as Toni Sailer, Christian Pravda, etc., who won medals at the Olympic Games and World Championships. The honor roll of the Hahnenkamm winners is also very interesting. At the beginning there is a small Yamagata garden.
