Bought two bags and paid >1.5k euros. Before I left the store, store assistant proudly said: "trust Burberry quality". Drove back home and found one of the bag strap had a factory defect. And after waiting for more than 2 days for my email to get answered, not a single breath of response. Hella plenty for Burberry quality huh?

Great service and great collection. We were assisted immediately and helped with buttoning and unbuttoning the coats. They were also eager to get different sizes from their magazine. There is also a lot of space for you to move around in, unlike other shops at the Outlet, so overall the shopping experience is way more relaxed.

The floating houses are unique and something I've never seen before. So many accomadations available from bakery to snackbar to restaurant and washing and much more!

It really is a nice place surrounded by water and beautiful nature. We stayed in a private villa right on the water, spending a weekend there with my parents as a gift. The day we left there were two ladies sitting outside on a bench while my mom walked the dog. They called the reception to complain about her, taking more than one bag (!!!) out of the dispenser for dogpoo-bags... (crazy, no?).
If that isnt ridiculous enough, one of the employees from the reception was really waiting for my mom passing by the main house at the entrance to ask her how many bags she took....
Seriously guys... we spent more than 500 bucks for a weekend at your place, we dont need to steel sh...bags for our dog.
And maybe next time some neighbours with a big lack of love and/or more exciting hobbies complain about stuff like that you should better tell THEM, that this is absolutely fine, because a dog needs to make 'numero dos' at least 3 times a day, which is why its is even neccessary to take more than one bag, if you want to keep the area clean. Instead of "spying" on my mom you should better put your 'undercover agents' on the small private beach at the villa area, because there are some guest with dogs big like camels it seems, who let them sh.. right in the sand almost every 30cm, so you cant walk in the water without "new shoes". You really created a nice place to stay but with an attitude like that you lost us probably forever.. at least my mother. With the best regards, Carina Roegels

The Munsterkerk is a Romanesque-style church built in the 13th century, known for its towering front. Although the opening timings are not suited for morning visits, it is well-maintained and has a beautiful garden when in full bloom. The church is also home to sculpture people that make for great photo opportunities in the square. Recommended as a must-visit attraction while traveling to Roermond, it offers ample chances to capture stunning pictures of this historical site.

Special church from the 13th century. It is amazing to see how this church was designed and built almost 1000 years ago. The pure architectural style without too many frills is remarkable. Nevertheless, the entire church is beautifully finished and shows off the structural elements beautifully. The interaction on the 2nd floor of the church is particularly nice. I couldn't help but think of Hagia Sophia, which is a thousand years older. Another special feature is the grave of the Count and Countess of Gelre, which further emphasizes the importance of the Munsterkerk and Roermond.

A must visit if you travel to Roermond. A great place to take pictures.
The Sint-Christoffelkathedraal in Roermond is a stunning Gothic cathedral from the 15th century, featuring a gilded statue of St Christopher on its tower. It caters well to tourists, offering a front gift shop and welcoming visitors with the soothing aromas of Frankincense and Myrrh, accompanied by choral music playing softly through speakers. The cathedral boasts beautiful modern stained glass windows and an altar crafted by Cuypers workshop.
This cathedral is filled with history and some absolutely mazing stained glass, statues, and paintings. The baptismal font is spectacular. The altars are as good as or better than any you’ll find in France or Belgium. This is definitely a hidden gem in The Netherlands.
Pilgrims from Northern Europe stopped here on their way to Santiago de Compostela. They have some pilgrim items on display. You can even put your name on a rock and place it under the cross for a blessing from St. James. You’ll also find a nice gift shop with a few pilgrim items.
The entry is free and I did not see restrooms or food and drink items for sale. However you can find lots of restaurants just outside the church. The visitors center for the city of Roermond is just around the corner.
Easily take the train to the Roermond station and walk to the Cathedral. The town is very walkable. You’ll find many other points of interest along your way. The remaining part of the ancient city wall is just next to the Cathedral.

Visiting Roermond, this place seemed like a must go.
We've been there, asking how long is the tour. The reception was only willing to sell ticket. It was 30 minutes before the closing time, the tour is more than one hour, we were asking to the reception how long is the tour, and still, the reception only wanted to sell ticket.
- How long is the visit ?
- Yes, you can visit.
- How long is the visit ?
- Yes, you can visit, the ticket is... [forgotten price]
- Do we have time to see everything ?
- If you want to visit, the ticket is.... [forgotten price]
This was the conversation during 10 minutes, when suddenly, by somekind of miracle, the reception says that the museum will close very soon, and we'll have no time for everything....
So, let me ask you something.
Was it me speaking bad English ?
Was the employee speaking bad English ?
What's the point of selling a ticket as you know that people will have no time for the complete tour ? Are you scammers ?
Because of this, we removed the museum from our to-do list. We also warn people about this place not being 100% honest.
If one day, you become 100% honest, maybe we'll come back. Otherwise, good luck with your scam.

The Rattentoren, a historical landmark in the city, lives up to its name as it was named after the large rats that once infested the area. This iconic tower has stood for centuries and holds significant historical value. It is a place where people can seek shelter or take refuge during unexpected weather conditions. The tower's architecture is remarkable, with its grand structure and intricate design. In this city, there are very limited options for quick dining opportunities available to visitors and residents alike.

State walks are also regularly organized there. It is recommended to visit the adjacent church. This one is very beautiful.

Stumbled upon the Stadspark de Kartuis by accident, but it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The park boasts abundant greenery, featuring a charming maze created with bushes and adorned with lovely statues. It exudes tranquility, making it an ideal spot for leisurely strolls. Positioned in the heart of Roermond, this park was originally used as a monastery garden three centuries ago.
Quite comfortable park for reading and walking. In the middle of the Roermond. As i understood, this park 300 years ago was a place for walking in the monastery.... I like to go to this park.

Calm, quiet place in the middle of the city. Great place for a good meditation :-)
The Caroluskapel, while still retaining its inherent beauty, is showing signs of deterioration due to the passage of time. Unfortunately, the monastery situated behind it has lost its former glory and now serves as a relic from a bygone era. Despite being somewhat concealed, this chapel is undoubtedly a hidden gem that deserves a visit. Nestled within the charming city center of Roermond, it adds to the already picturesque surroundings.
Super

(Translated by Google) This former monastery and seminary chapel is not located directly along the public road and can therefore easily be overlooked by visitors. Anyone who has found their way to the Carolus Chapel in Roermond will agree that this is a loss. It is one of the most beautiful sights that can be admired. This best preserved Carthusian monastery in the Netherlands is located in the center of Roermond, hidden behind other buildings.
The long history has left many treasures of art and culture in the Roermond Carolus Chapel. It is one of the few almshouses in the Netherlands with a rococo ceiling and Robastelly organ from 1760-1763. The relics of the Martyrs of Roermond rest in the relic cabinets, which have been cut into the walls. The skull of Dionysius the Carthusian is kept in a wooden box.
Beautiful buildings, be sure to take some time to stroll through them.

#29Roermond perfect stop for any visitor to Roermond and even better if it's a grey rainy day outside. The Netherlands really has some great library spaces and this one also have a collection of historic artifacts that gives any visitor insight into Roermonds past. Also a great space to relax with a good book or newspaper and a cafe. #railthetrails
