The Wine Museum is a delightful exhibit that showcases the rich history and process of winemaking. Visitors can explore the museum at their leisure and read about wine production in Italian, English, and possibly German. The museum features an impressive 15th-century press and offers wine tasting opportunities for up to six different wines. In addition, visitors can purchase various wines at the large on-site shop.
We visited the Zeni Wine Museum one afternoon whilst visiting Lake Garda. It’s a little bit of a walk if you don’t have a car up a hill, but it’s worth the effort.
There is a nice small museum all laid out nicely with plenty of information. They also offer an unbelievable 6 free wine samples during your visit. Considering the museum and tastings are free, it’s incredibly generous!
They also have a huge shop where you can buy bottles of wine and much more too. If visiting the area, certainly stop by and check it out for an hour, it’s great.

Very nice museum, you can have 6 samples (per adult) without any pressure to buy. We wished we could bring them home, taste was amazing and the prices were great.

Museum is rather poor. But you have free wine tasting and some very good amarones for purchase (and a lot of other wines).

Quite an interesting insight into how wine has been produced through the ages. I didn't have the guided tour of the museum, but all the information is printed in Italian, English and I think in German too. It shouldn't take you more than 30 mins to get through the museum, and that's if you read every article. At the end there is wine tasting available, and beyond that, a large shop where you can purchase the various wines they produce. Unfortunately, I was travelling light with on carry-on luggage, so I was not able to take any home.

Nice little museum and it's free to visit. Great to cool down on a hot day and learn some history at the same time.
Plenty of free parking.
Free wine tasting. The champagne tastes great.
Could do with a little more interactivity for children.

The museum is nice but pretty small, don't expect a long stay.
You can taste up to 6 wines and shop. (It's a long walk up the hill, you better go there by car)

Tours are at set hours. Nice museum, smaller than expected. Very nice tasting set-up, but didn't get much information regarding the wines.
A fantastic corniche to walk along, do some boat rafting, or ride a cruise boat.
There are plenty of eateries, and the general feeling is serene.
There is the “Eye of Lake Garda” that you may want to consider (Euro 7 for adults and Euro 5 for kids as of July 2023).
Swimming is not permitted publicly, and fines are incurred. There is a very close-by paid parking lot.
Worth spending a few hours here.

Guerrieri Rizzardi Azienda Agricola Cantina Wineshop is a vineyard that offers guided tours and tastings of Bardolino red and rosé wines. The staff is service-minded and pleasant, while the Villa Rizzardi garden tour is very nice with interesting histories and stories about the villa's past. Pablo Picasso's artist friend lived there for many years, inspiring Picasso to visit frequently.
I stopped here because I wanted to buy a few bottles of classic Bardolino from a local producer. Bardolino has always been among the wines I enjoy the most because because it is very easy to drink and goes perfectly with many dishes. The winery is amazing and the staff was delighted to explain everything and to make me taste a selection of their wines. I immediately liked Fiori di Rosa which was is sort of a sparkling Chiaretto, fresh, fruity and lovely. I ended up buying two crates. Can't wait to drink them with my friends 😋

Well worth a visit. Not only good wines and very service minded and pleasant staff but also a very, very nice tour if the garden of Villa Rizzardi.
Huge garden but still very intimate.
Interesting history and stories about the Villa. For instance a very good artist friend of Pablo Picasso lived there for many years and Picasso visited frequently to get inspo.
The garden is very well maintained and have many surprises. A Magnolia tree from mid 16-hundreds is one of the spectacular trees.
You can taste and buy wine at the showroom while hearing all about the place.

Extremely poor tasting ceremony. You get few drops of a wine to taste with the feeling that you should be anyway grateful for that…
No food.
And you pay for the tasting even though you purchased a wine.
The place itself - nice, very nice, thus with a huge, obviously not used, potential 🤷🏻♂️🤓

We had a wonderful experience today at Guerrero Rizzardi winery in Bardolino.
When we arrived, the staff welcomed us nicely and we started a tour with Elena, who was so attentive and knowledgeable. We tasted 4 different wonderful wines and listened to each of their stories.
We are on our honeymoon, and when the manager of the branch heard about it she gave us sparkling wine as a present! Such a lovely experience! We recommend 😊

The service here was amazing! We’d like to thank Christoffer for his wonderful service, lively conversation and knowledgeable immersion into the wines of Guerrieri Rizzardi (and he’d only been there 3 weeks, a true asset to the business).
The wines are so approachable, we left with both whites and reds and enjoyed them thoroughly and will look for ways to get more.
Thank you Christoffer for a lovely visit.

We visited Bardolino during a quiet season so there wasn't much to do around town, however, this little church was captivating.
Even though it's not "flashy" on the outside, there are lots to see inside, including religious symbols, stained glasses and beautiful architecture.
Entrance is free and the parish is very welcome. Worth a stop

We spent a lot of money and then wanted to jump into the water nearby and the staff told us we had to pay 9 euros each (it’s 6 pm) to jump in the water. I guess they are squeezing each lemon they can to make up for the pandemic? Super annoying for customers who just ate and drank for 3 hours.

In addition to white, red and rose wine, there are also several sparkling wines, grappa, olive oils and now the special one, several balsamici. Here we had to try a few things, including oils and vinegars. We enjoyed shopping there a lot. By the way, the lady in sales was very nice.

The Oleificio Cisano is a small museum dedicated to olive oil production. It has many artifacts from the history of olive oil production, as well as videos and displays on the topic. There is also a tasting area where visitors can sample different flavored oils.
Really cute little museum, you can do it in 30-40 min max. The videos explaining the process of making olive oil are very interesting.
The shop is a bit pricey but offers a wide variety of regional oils to buy. I would definitely recommend to go to the tasting station were a professional explains and lets you try different oils and aceto balsamico, a very nice surprise and helped us make the right choices.

This is well worth a visit. In a very short time they provide a very informative education on Olive oil and how it is made both now and in the past. They have a few nicely done videos and many museum quality items from the history of Olive oil production. At the end you can sample many items and buy some if you like. Also note that the restroom is outside on the side of the building and they need to buzz you in from the front desk.

Very busy. The museum, while well laid out, takes only about 15 minutes when both video sequences and associated commentary are dominated by the large number of German tourists. The shop was too busy to enjoy browsing and very, very limited tasting only at 1 of the 3 counters. We walked to it, but the carparking outside on a busy road was clearly an issue for the poor lad trying to make it work without blocking the road.

(Translated by Google) Returning after a few years, I joyfully rediscovered the atmosphere of calm serenity and peace that the place promises, and immediately grants with generosity. The monks are welcoming but respectful, respect that must be given to them in equal measure. The three days spent at the monastery gave value to the Christmas that had just passed, leaving out false lights and deceptive ways of life. You can believe it or not, but that there is a different spirit (and everyone can welcome it as they want) is undeniable, in the days spent meditating or praying, walking, reclaiming our inner feelings. THANK YOU.

Yesterday, we enjoyed the total tasting, including a tour of the vineyard. All in all, we were more than satisfied and would recommend the visit to our friends and family.
Throughout the whole experience, including the first (fast and super-friendly) contact via e-Mail, the informative tour and the tasting itself with well chosen local products there was not much to improve. The English of the guide was very professional and easy to understand.
The food can be a dinner if you are not super hungry. If you’ve been hiking the whole day and you didn’t have lunch, then it might be too little for you. Also, we thought it might be fair to note, that the toilet is on the third floor (no elevator). This might be a problem for some people.
Thank you very much for the experience and good luck with the planned expansion of your business!

Jahn and Wendy have created something very special here. The grounds are gorgeous. The wine is delicious. And the food is a delight. Jahn’s passion and innovation for wine making really shines. He was friendly and informative. Wendy’s garden veggies and focaccia were to die for. And jahns smoked pork was next level. Sophie was the best hostess and made us feel so welcome and was a delight to chat with as we tasted. We spent about 4 hours here. This is not a place to come to just drink a bottle, eat and leave. It’s not a restaurant. Arrive prepared to spend some time learning about the land, grapes, and the processes Jahn has been passionately cultivating over the last 20 years.

After visiting Corto Capitani, there was a pleasant aftertaste!
An interesting and innovative approach to winemaking!
The entire line of wines is required for tasting and buying!
Very interested in wines from PIWI grape varieties categorical IGT!
First time tried!
PIWI is a complex subject requiring courage and curiosity from growers and connoisseurs.
Solaris - IGT Bianco Veneto!
in our opinion it is worth paying attention! Straw yellow in color with good intensity, Solaris opens with very ripe fruity aromas with slight floral and herbal undertones. Perfectly balanced wine! You can drink immediately and buy for later: it has the potential for storage! What we did after tasting a line of wines from PIWI varieties: BRONNER, Johanniter, Solaris! 👍
And in combination with delicious focaccia from Wendy and an interesting story by Jan!
Your hospitality! Quality of wine!
Thanks Wendy and Jan! You put your soul into everything you do in your Corte Capitani.
Thanks a lot! We will come back to try and buy your wines!
And will invite our friends!

This place is AMAZING, and a must see while visiting the Garda area! The wine is utterly delicious (crisp, balanced, flavourful) and the hosts (Jan and Wendy) were delightful—full of knowledge and engaging stories. They welcomed us (6 persons) to their winery with no reservation, offered hefty tastings of 4 wines (1 Spumante, 2 reds, 1 white), served a platter of freshly baked focaccia (best I’ve ever/will have) and local meats, and chatted with us for hours. Looking forward to drinking these wines when we arrive home!

(Translated by Google) Built in the early nineteenth century, it is surrounded by a large and wonderful park that occupies the entire northern part of the Bardolino bay. Owned by the Municipality, it is known because it hosts the representative office of the Professional Hotel Institute and the important events connected to it such as prizes, lunches for prestigious guests, twinnings between Italian and foreign schools and municipalities. In summer it is an ideal place for concerts and events aimed at the public. The Municipality has recently completed the renovation works and carried out the testing of the north wing of the eighteenth-century villa. It consists of the ground floor and two other mezzanine floors, for which the municipal administration is examining future uses.

The amiability, straightforwardness, and helpfulness of the proprietor contribute to making Azienda Agricola Vallonga a noteworthy destination. The unassuming store was stumbled upon while driving around, offering homemade wine and olive oil that can be sampled prior to purchase. This establishment is renowned for its exceptional oils and superb wines.
An inconspicuous shop which we accidentally found while driving around. They sell selfmade wine and olive oil which you can try before buying.

The Vallonga farm with farmhouse and bedrooms is a spectacular rustic structure located in a small enchanted valley just above Bardolino. Unfortunately the entire structure is in a serious state of decay and abandonment with filth definitely beyond the limits of decency. I believe there is also a real health risk.
I strongly advise against anyone approaching this place, at least not before a complete restoration with sanitization.

Cà Bottura, a charming winery nestled in the countryside, offers an outstanding experience for visitors. With its warm and welcoming hostess and delectable food and wine, this small family-run establishment is highly recommended. The staff is exceptionally friendly, making guests feel right at home. The wines are delightful, with a wide selection to choose from. Whether enjoying a bottle of sparkling Rose on the serene patio or exploring the variety of flavors offered, Cà Bottura provides an unforgettable visit.
We enjoyed a bottle of their Rosé and tried some red and white wine as well. All were very good. The cheese and cold cuts platter with bread for 20€ was also delicious. We enjoyed the garden seats and the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was also clean. Would definitely visit again!

What an incredible place. My husband and I visited here while we were on our honeymoon in Garda and we loved this beautiful, small, family run wine shop. We were greeted by the lovely Ilaria who gave us samples of all the different wines she thought we might like (they all tasted incredible!) and she told us some information about each one, in fantastic English. Ilaria was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed a glass of wine each out on the beautiful patio. It was such a beautiful, peaceful place to relax with a delicious glass of wine. It was also very interesting to hear Ilaria tell us about the vineyard and how the wine is made. I loved that it was such a small, peaceful vineyard, it was so relaxing. The wine tasted so lovely that we bought two bottles on the day and returned again before we flew back home to buy another two bottles to take back to England with us. The prices are fantastic and so affordable.
A fantastic little place and we are so happy we visited. We really recommend that everyone visits here if you are in the area!

Cantina Valetti is a family-run winery where the magic of turning grapes into excellent wine happens. They meticulously care for each step of the winemaking process, using innovative techniques while respecting tradition. The cellar produces various types of wines, including an excellent Amarone. Visitors can enjoy generous tastings with speck, cheese, and crackers while taking in the beautiful views from the modern facilities.
Wonderful winetasting experience with the owner Davide. Very nice wines and beautiful view from the top of his building. Great experience

We had a very nice time visiting the winery. They had speck, cheese and a variety of crackers for us and offered very generous pours of many wine samples. We found the wine to be very good considering the prices which for one wine started at just 4.50 euro. We took a tour of the celler and facilities which are very new and modern. The upstairs had wonderful views. I recommend a visit you will be very happy if you visit.

A nice tasting, the wines are the stars. Our host spoke good English. It is a tasting room, as opposed to sit-down garden. We booked ahead. They had a small plate of delicious cheese, salumi and crackers. They offer options for tasting, we tasted through the 3 chiarettos on offer, plus two whites and three reds. There were more reds available if that is your thing. I would definitely go back.
