Felixstowe Sea Front Gardens offer a beautiful coastal walk with views of the Port of Felixstowe and some of the world's largest container ships. The area features an old fort with historical significance, a cafe, and a takeaway van. The town center has charming shops and delicious fish and chip shops. Visitors can enjoy tropical-looking gardens and participate in weekend events such as arts and crafts fairs, hot sunny weather, and upcoming cycle races.
A lovely place to walk around. Very hard to park on a nice day. Everyone comes down to the beach to sit on it and tan. If your not into that like me, then you can stroll through the gardens and down the highstreet. Plenty of pubs along the way and food places. Plenty of places to sit and relax and get a nice cold breeze.
I saw plenty of bins and did not see any mess. It was quite tidy.
We stopped for a beer at Bar and Grill. Really nice drinks and food.
When we took a walk back we had to climb up the stairs to the top of the garden. But the views are amazing. Plenty of nice scenery and perfect for photographers like myself.
If you don't mind a little bit of walking then I highly recommend coming here. Even if it's just to look out at the sea.

What a lovely walk! Really nice, lots of little trails taking you to interesting little alcoves, water features or enclosed small gardens. My dog loved watching the fish in the ponds!

It's lovely. Few benches along the garden, some shades if it's too hot too. Close by the town center and pier.

Truly lovely little garden spot in Felixstowe right across from the sea. Beautiful flowers and plants are abundant and nice to see and visit. There are nice areas to just sit, chat and enjoy the garden and sea views.

Fantastic weekend of events with great arts and crafts fayre, hot sunny weather and lots more to come during the week and finalising with the cycle race this weekend. No photos here, if you want to see it then go and give your support. Hope to see you there and have a great weekend as I will for sure. 😁🌞🍻🍷🍦🛶🎡👩👩👧👧👵👴

The gardens are lovely, the little waterfalls were a great surprise for the kid's to find. There is the age old problem of teenagers hanging around but have never had any trouble off them. All dogs must be kept on lead's when in the gardens but not many dog owners do this so if you or a child is scared of them just keep an eye out.

Good place for both family & couples to spend their time with their loved ones. Especially good place for children's. It has park with well maintenance. Fish & chips, shopping centre and coffee shops all available in and around. Enjoyed my day. Highly recommended to visit.

This is such a beautiful coastal part of Britain. There's a gr8 walk along the length of the beach front which leads to an old Fort with a piece of history and a cafe and also a takeaway van. Views off the Port of Felixstowe can be found here with some of the biggest container ships in the world here.
The little town centre is also lovely with a few shops but still ample. Some of the wee fish and chip shops are tasty with gr8 chips as well. 😃❤🌞🌊🥀🌼 Gardens are beautiful and very tropical looking.

My favourite place from Suffolk. I used to go almost every Sunday when I lived in Ipswich. Beautiful and colourful gardens alongside the sea.
The Port of Felixstowe is a large and beautiful port with a stunning view of the sea. Visitors can enjoy the scenery from their cars in the nearby car park. Despite some customer service issues, the overall experience at Berth 8&9 was positive, with staff eventually resolving any problems that arose.
Staff at the check in gate Berth 8&9 didn't check the box, I have waited 50 minutes at the console 3 for ticket to be printed out.
Called customer services to find out that the box was not checked by their staff , and redo - restart.
Went to this guy at the window and he had put the blame on me.
-You should have go to THA and call customer services , it's your fault for this long queue behind you!
Called customer services again to explain the situation, and all good, all good.

Hard working port with hard working drivers delivering and collecting from it. It’s an awesome place to drive around and it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the ‘processes’. Don’t be - it’s got a great bunch of people working for them (including the port police) who just want to keep everything safe. Enjoy!!

I have been to the land guard point of Felixstowe many times but never at sunset. Truly a beautiful place to see the sunset on a clear night when the water is calm.
There is a large car park that is free after 6pm.
No toilet facilities available at that time, the restaurant is closed.
I will definitely visit again in the summer at sunset.

If you’re a lorry driver and your day is going a bit too nicely, pop into this place and change all that.
If you’re lucky you’ll get to spend at least an hour and a half, bursting for the loo, in Landguard’s exquisite THA, enjoying the varying types of chain linked fences. Or alternatively, sit for an hour watching a broken down crane or, on at least 10 occasions per day, sit and contemplate where it all went wrong whilst the crane drivers spend 40 minutes changing over.
There are myriad ways you could waste your life here! But my personal favourite, is trying over and over again to scan my hand using outdated technology on the way into the port. Endless fun for those that anticipate an afterlife or reincarnation.
For the rest of us that realise our time is precious - welcome to hell.

Expecting a lengthy wait I was very surprised to find out how easy of a process it was to arrive at the port via gate 2, find the pass office (You must get a RHIDES pass before you can enter the port - driving licence is sufficient ID)
Maps are supplied if needed and the staff are very helpful.
In and out within 40 mins to collect a water tanker that had arrived by ferry via Holland.

Great port and facilities of canteen/toilets.
Easy to navigate around the port, clear signs.
Canteen in trinity and languard both serving great food. (Languard closes at 2pm 👎👎)

3 hours waiting for the crane watching other two cranes doing nothing apparently very busy. Customer service 15 min to answer the phone I wonder if you have health problems and you need help. R.I.P 😂 such a beautiful place.
Antanas sat — Google review
The port itself is ok toilets at both tha and dfds, Its hit and miss whether your quick or not. Sometimes it's 25minutes sometimes it's 3hours. The biggest problem is parking for breaks, no truckpark only laybys and a shell garage with a 20minute limit or on the port a muddy yard with massive holes. A place like this should have a yard like gateway for parking.
JoshF497 — Google review
There is no option for zero stars , one of the worst places to go , no one to complain to, crane sitting next to you for 30 mins shunted comes up at the other end of the queue he gets served first , waiting in THA USUALLY 1 hour , money wasted by employees that don’t do much work
So just a waste of time

Some people inside they are really lazy and unhelpful. The situation today: I am on LNG, I drive to crane No. 220, which was in my position. After few second crane drive away and after another 10min the guy went on a break. Thanks for nothing 🤮 (I had empty box for drop only) 😡 30 min waste but they don't care 🤮🤯
Felixstowe Museum showcases a diverse collection of ancient, military, natural and medical artifacts that trace the town's heritage. The museum currently features an 80s exhibition which takes visitors down memory lane. In addition to the exhibits, the museum offers a café and outdoor refreshment area that serves good refreshments at affordable prices. The small museum is located near Felixstowe port and provides fun activities for children making it an excellent place to visit with family.
I visited the museum today after seeing that its dog friendly. So glad i did, the staff were super friendly & made a real fuss of my little dog. We enjoyed all the displays, especially the 80s & asylum displays, really interesting. We had a coffee & a mars bar cake, the lady carried it outside for me. Really enjoyed my visit & was made very welcome. Thank you

Visited for the first time since living in the area for 42 years. A fab museum, with very knowledgeable and helpful staff. At present there is an 80s exhibition which is a trip down memory lane! Cafe and outdoor refreshment area great, serving very good refreshments at low prices. Had an enjoyable and informative visit. Will be back. Highly recommend this little gem exhibiting all things to do with Felixstowe.

What a little gem this museum is, detailing various local topics and facts surrounding the port.
Staff all very friendly and egar to talk and explain about any items or information you are unsure or would like more detail about.
Lots of wartime memorabilia and a super 80s room that has lots of OMG do you remember those moments..
Also the cafe was a real find, lots of lovely home made cakes and a decent choice of gluten free toasted sandwiches and cakes too..
Allow a good hour to look around properly.
Point to note, please use the public pay and display carpark do not directly out the front of the museum, my mistake..

A museum that many people miss, being tucked to the side of Languard Fort, which itself is at the end of a not too well signposted lane. But not go there, and you will miss out on a wonderfully informative experience, especially as the museum is now under new management and many exciting things are going on there. £4 brings you a good couple of hours of education, and if you are of a certain age, a whole host of memories. Plus they have a great café with homemade cakes.

Fantastic museum of loads of unexpected things too! It covers ww2, shipping, pirate radio, the 80's and much more! With very kind and knowledgeable volunteers. A great and important place to visit!!

Having been round the Fort, this was a lovely addition, just 'next door'. Knowledgeable staff (all volunteers) who obviously love what they do. It's child friendly, with owls for them to find and they also have special events there, on occasion, for both children and adults.
The cafe is adequate but you may have a little wait. There is also a small gift shop there.
The lavatory is in another cafe building, a short walk away but is clean and has disabled access.
Definitely recommend a visit, especially if going to the Fort.
Martello Park in Felixstowe is an attractive and newly built recreation area situated right next to the beach. It features a variety of playground equipment, picnic tables, and a jogging path for visitors to enjoy. The park is ideal for families with young children as there are plenty of opportunities for exploration and play. Additionally, nearby toilets provide convenience for families with small children. The park is not enclosed but still offers a safe environment for children's activities.
Great park, lots of play equipment, but you just can't beat an old fashioned dirty puddle. Must get one of those for the garden 😁
Playground is well spread out, plenty of free parking along the road if you go early. Toilets are at the far end, along with huts selling coffee, ice cream etc.
We visited at about 8am as little one is a very early riser.

A wonderful little park I took my 7 year old who enjoyed the fountains and the play area they did have toilets/changing room which was good just a shame at the mess inside them.... the park it self was wonderful for younger children and the water fountains with the summer heat was a welcome refreshment for my son!

We love the Martello Park in Felixstowe. It is great for the children, so much to do and the beach is right next to it. You can spend a whole day there with your children. Toilets nearby.

This is right next to the beach on one side. From one end to another end there are playground for kids with swings-slides and water fountain, small Icecream kiosk, coffee shop. Also public toilets and the doors are painted in bright colours.
There's a field full of yellow Fennel flowers. For the first time in my life I get to see the fennel seeds and the yellow flowers which is also the seeds.
In the middle of the field is the tower which is now a coast guard station.
Next to to the tower there's a massive area for picnic and other activities.
One coach full of 49people went there as a day tour to enjoy the day.
We made the area to be our picnic area.
We all had lunch there and also prayed Zuhr and Asr. No one batted an eye and the people were so cool.
in the afternoon we had activities. Competition also took place.
The area was not that crowded and plenty of people all over the place.

Really great childrens play area. Lovely cafe one end of park and 2 kiosks the other. Parking close by, although on a Sunday might not be easy or in the summer. Toilets near kiosks. Seating available. Suitable for buggies and wheelchairs as path running along the park. Right by the prom so a beautiful sea view and as a container port you should see several vessels sailing past.

This is a fabulous area for the kids, play equipment spread along the sea front area next to the Martello tower. Swings, slides, zip line - all the usual things you would expect. Also a splash area, but cant comment as it wasnt on, on our visit. A few little kiosks dotted about and a cafe, in case you need a drink. Public toilets near the entrance if required.
Andrew Cartwright — Google review
Great place to come with the kids with lots of space for them to run around. There are a variety of play apparatus for the kids to explore. There are picnic benches dotted around, so it's a nice spot for a lunch break.
The downside of the park is that it is closely overlooked by the row of houses. I could hear people talking in their houses while sat at the picnic table so they can probably hear kids screaming with joy all day.
It's also a great place for Pokemon Go as there are two gyms at the park and lots of Pokestops, we always seem to find new Pokemon here with over 1000 cp.
There is a cafe here called See You. We are yet to go inside because it was closed the last few times we came as it was after 5pm.

One of the best children's parks I have seen. It is a very big park for children of all ages & is always full of children & parents. Even a wet park with jets of water coming up in different parts, very educational for the little ones looking to find where they will appear next & running to stand on them. I don't have young children anymore could sit & watch them having fun for hours. Lovely cafe right beside it too. Highly recommend

Spa Pavilion is located near a bustling town center with big name stores, boutiques, crafts, and independent shops. Visitors can pick up souvenirs and enjoy a classic cream tea on the cliff-tops. The venue offers fantastic meals with individual flavors and perfectly cooked vegetables. The waiting staff are attentive and polite, providing top-quality service.
We always have a good time here - have never been disappointed by a show yet. A lovely English seaside theatre with all the atmosphere you’d expect. Staggered seating so you can always see the stage - unless someone with an exceptionally big hat sits in front! Lovely traditional theatre atmosphere. Also has a great restaurant for pre-show drinks or meals. A brilliant little theatre right on the promenade. No public car park but plenty of parking very close by.

Spa Pavilion has a nice theatre, back to that in a minute. On arrival I visited the bar/resteraunt for a pre- show beverage. Four staff members stood on my left at the bar having not been greater I approached one of the staff to ask her if there was a spare seat or table as it looked busy. I was asked if I was dinning or just drinks, I replied just a drink before the show. With the reply you will need to have a look if you can find somewhere I had a brief look and left. No customer service here. Staff in the theatre entrance hall totally different and helpful. My show was 7.30 so on entering the theatre I was surprised at the rubbish that was left remaining from the last show on seats and on the floor close to my seat. View from my seat at row S was very good and the sound was also good. Despite many requests to ware masks as always there was a number who did not and sat with a drink for most of the evening without a mask not drinking while others had drinks and replaced masks. Pretty good and enjoyable evening I would visit again, hopefully with an improved experience for pre-show refreshments and debury within the theatre.

Visited here to see a show (Spirit of the Dance), which was excellent. We did the pre-show dinner, which was good value at £19.50 for two courses. The restaurant space offers great sea views. This is a lovely local theatre, which is small enough to feel quite cozy, but big enough to attract some very good performers. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of nearby parking and generally good access.

Lovely theatre situated on the sea front. A good selection of shows throughout the year. The only downside is the parking. There is a lot along the seafront but you are in competition with others. The main car park is large, but a short walk away up the cliff.

My friend Michelle and I visited yesterday 7th December 2022. We were due to see the gorgeous Peter Andre, but unfortunately he had to postpone his show due to illness. We however decided not to cancel our planned lunch date as we were looking forward to it. My goodness it certainly didn't disappoint, the food, atmosphere, surroundings and staff were excellent. They made us feel very welcome and looked after our every need. I took a photo of our main courses of The Catch Of The Day Dish of Battered Cod, Chips, Mushy Peas And A Slice Of Lemon. The batter melted in our mouths, the fish was succulent and very tasty. Our desserts were Eton Mess but I didn't photograph these as we just dived in . I highly recommend the Spa Pavilion Felixstowe Restaurant for a calming atmosphere, excellent food and staff who always give you a very warm welcome. It reminded me of the times I spent at The Spa Pavilion Restaurant as a child. Very happy memories made once more. Thanks so much ❤️

A lovely theatre with good acts. The only criticism is that they are unable to control the audience when they get up to dance. They ask at the beginning that if you want to dance then do so at the sides so as not to block the views. They managed this to start with but as the drinks flowed, they gave up trying and just shrugged at any complaints. They need qualified SIA staff on duty at these types of events, who know how to manage drunks. Also to stop people bringing in glasses rather than plastic cups, which could be dangerous when they are stumbling around attempting to dance drunk.

Fun 80's night with friends!
First time at venue. Probably not the best setting for this type of concert/show as many wanted to be up and dancing, which completely blocked others views who were seated.
Partner is very tall and cramped in the seat...very little leg room sadly.

The fortress Landguard Fort is a large and imposing military structure from the 18th century, which served as the Royal Marines' first land battle site. It's located on a promenade in Brighton, and is well worth a visit for its interesting building shape, lots of things to see, good views from the top, and cafes/tea rooms/shops.
It had been eight years since I came here previously and I wasn't disappointed. The volunteers were friendly and helpful, the sunshine uplifting and all of the audio effects worked to good effect. There is plenty to see, read and listen to and all is well maintained. I walked here from the railway station, on a bracing February day, past bustling crowds on the promenade. The whole experience was most invigorating.

Landguard Fort is a remarkable attraction in Felixstowe, Suffolk. Its history spans centuries, and the fort remains a testament to the importance of naval defense. The grounds have been restored and maintained, making it a great place to explore. The fort itself is an impressive structure, with thick walls and impressive cannons. The views of the sea are also stunning, and the fort provides a great vantage point for spotting wildlife. Inside the fort, there are exhibits and activities to participate in. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and they are happy to answer any questions. Overall, a visit to Landguard Fort is a great way to learn about the history of naval defense and enjoy a unique and memorable experience.

This is a most interesting fort that has been part of Britain’s defences for hundreds of years. By listening to the audio recording that was freely available, I discovered so much about the history of this amazing defensive structure. It certainly isn’t a beautiful fort but is highly functional s and has been rebuilt so many times to serve the needs of the country in various wars.

What a great museum. Having the audio tour (which is included in the admission fee) was fantastic, or you can just read the boards yourself. And for just £7, it is the best value place we have experienced for a very long time. (Have campervan, Do Travel alot). 5* attraction.

Part of English Heritage so if you're a member entrance is free. You can download an app for a free audio tour, which tells you about the forts' interesting history. Wheelchair accessible on the lower level only, although beware the floor surfaces do vary and some are easier to navigate than others. We spent about 2 hours exploring the tunnels and various rooms with reconstructed scenes and taking photographs along the way. There is a nice little 1940s cafe on site for refreshments. Afterwards, we walked a couple of minutes to a beach area/nature reserve that runs alongside the Fort, which finished our day perfectly. Pay and display car park opposite site entrance.

On a day out with the kids we took a gamble on taking them to Landguard Fort, I say a gamble as we are never sure which way things will go with them - on this occasion, thankfully, all went well!!
There is a pay and display car park opposite the Fort, and tickets for the Fort can be purchased just as you go in. We paid a couple of quid extra for the jurassic trail to keep the kids entertained, but that chap also gave them some audio trail devices that also kept them busy (yes - that surprised me too!)
The Fort has a fairly well laid out route through the lower and upper sections, and it gives you a good feel for how the Fort was used over the years - some rooms were done up really well, others less so. The route finishes in the inner courtyard area where there is a little shop and cafe. Toilets are there but fairly basic (and there are plenty of signs asking you not to use the old 1914 ones!!)
As you leave there is also an extra room to your right, dont miss it (we almost did) there is a uniform kids can try on and some 'voices' stories that call you on the telephone!
Our visit was probably about 2 hours in length, we possibly would have stayed a tad longer had it not been raining! An informative place to visit - with some great views out!

Lovely place with nice long promenade along seafront. Also plenty of eatery places nearby, mainly fast food, more choice in town. Big amenities building on the pier with nice restaurant/cafe in it. Also there is a park going along promenade, which is well kept and nice choice for exploring more

Felixstowe pier is great fun.
It’s a small pier with a beautiful beach walk either side of the pier.
There is plenty of parking near to the beach and pier at a reasonable price.
There’s a good amount of crane machines and 2p machines for the kiddies or kids at heart.
Staff are friendly.
There are good / clean public toilets on the pier.
A very nice cafe / restaurant on the pier for a meal or just a coffee sitting outside watching the world go by or the massive container ships if that’s your thing.
We love a morning out to Felixstowe that is about 40-60 minutes drive from us in clacton.

Kids had fun in the arcade, lots of different machines. Hand sanitiser readily available. We've eaten in the restaurant before which is nice and also had the fish and chips and sat on the pier which are also good.
Emily Searle — Google review
It was closed, so we couldn't walk all the way to the end. However, maybe not that bad as seems to be a bit outdated. At the front has fish and chips, ice cream. Around restaurants. So if it is not too windy nice to sit on a pier and enjoy afternoon tea or cup of coffee. You can walk through the middle as some game machines for the kiddos too. Maybe for adults too if you feel like having a go 😁

The pier is mostly an amusement arcade, you can step out the back to look at the pier, but you can't walk out along it. The amusement arcade itself was OK, we didn't have much luck and we spent ages queuing in the prize shop queue to get some sweets with the kids tickets! We couldnt find any toilets on the pier, although there are some public loos a bit further down promenade. I think to be honest, the best bit was the look of the frontage of the pier, looks impressive - just a shame it doesn't match this when you go on! (I guess we have just been spoilt a fair bit with our experiences at other piers!!)

The amusement arcade and restaurants are nice, but no access to the pier till end. A great place for the beach walk with colouful and lovely food restaurants. the pier is surrounded by many other attractions nearby.
Parking: Paid parking, at the sight, also roadside parking available
Toilets: At the restaurants on pier

Felixstowe arcade is great fun for the family for an hour or so worth of entertainment. There is a wide selection of arcade games for all ages as well as a small bowling alley suitable for young children.
There are a couple of Fish and Chips shops which are average and well priced. The pier was a disappointment as it was locked when we went, despite being a busy Saturday afternoon.
A walk along the promenade is always nice, regardless of the weather.
If we are in the area we will probably go again, but I won’t be going out of my way. Southwold and Aldeburgh are a lot nicer.

Recently built pier main building. Good fish and chips. Shame the main pier isn't open. You can walk around the back of the new building but then the rest is fenced off.
Jam Willi — Google review
always a clean beach to visit , well looked after and lots of things to do while there from walking the dog , to the outside play park to the amusements , hopefully all the new building work that's currently going on along the sea front won't ruin it

Lovely place to spend hot days. Very busy on the hottest weekend, some places for ice cream if you want to cool down. Nice promenade and some nice places to have something to eat. Prices are alright.

Felixstowe sea front big improvements to all area's cafes fast food and beach front : attractions for young and old the big wheel I would recommend on a clear day

Pretty and small resort...faded elegance. A walk down the pier wasn't possible due to access blocked by a locked gate but the resort is well served with the usual seaside amusements. Town centre is nice as well.

Beautiful eve at Felixstowe. Relaxing in balmy weather with great food and a lovely walk with the dog. The bar on the pier made a great stop for an afternoon drink. Can't believe how much has been developed along the south beach seafront since we were last here.

A lovely day out, we took the dog, and she loved the sea ,fish, and chips to boot .

Ran my 5k PB here and it's such a lovely place, clean and tidy and the people are very friendly. One of my favourite Parkrun so far

We love it here, the arcade is excellent and the arcade staff are all wonderful and very helpful. The pier is closed, but you can still get plenty of delicious food, drinks, ice creams and doughnuts from the shops by the pier. The massively long but very narrow sea front is perfect! Nice sand and plenty of waves for swimmers, and being such a long stretch of beach, you can always find a nice quiet spot just for you. The waves here can get a little strong for non or weak swimmers, so take care. Very highly recommended +++++

Sensory overload, but the kids love it. There are a variety of arcade games with the classic 2p machines, basketball hoops and bowling. Most games are a £1 each to play with the VR ones costing £3 per person to play. The kids favourite games are the life-size hungry hippos and Mario kart DX. There is a cash machine inside the arcade if needed.
There is a fish and chip shop next to the arcade, wait times in the summer can be long due to the crowds but its so worth it. There is also a cafe on the pier if you fancy somewhere warm to sit and eat.
Great little spot for the family, friends or a date if you're into games.

Beautiful walk down the pier. We went the 1st February so not overcrowded.
Forum Amusements is one of the family-friendly entertainment options in Felixstowe, offering a variety of games and slot machines for visitors to enjoy. Located along the seafront, it provides a fun-filled experience with friendly staff and opportunities to win prizes. Alongside other nearby attractions, such as Felixstowe Pier and Manning's Amusements, Forum Amusements adds to the lively atmosphere with its range of activities for all ages.
Fantastic staff and plenty of games to entertain small kids and big kids (adults)

Would rate no stars if I could. no care for their staff… especially in winter times. Rude staff apart from the lovely young bright girl in the prize shop. Always so friendly, helpful and polite.

I spent £7 and didn't even win a fruit salad sweet. Just came out with a black hand where I'd held the coins. I would rather have spent it on a bag of chips. At least I'd of had the love handles to show for it

We took our nearly 4yr old daughter to the arcades today for the first time!
The forum was the 2nd arcade out of 3 we visited today and we’ll be returning to the forum!
It was clean, not too loud and lots of kiddy 2p machines and some ticket machines too.
The staff were really helpful - 1 ticket machine was showing an error after our daughter played it (no tickets came out) yet he came over with a wad and passed them to us with a friendly smile.
It seems our daughter loves collecting the tickets!
We shall be returning again soon.

Really good fun. Took my little nephew. Still fun for all ages 😂
Fantasia Felixstowe is a more basic amusement arcade compared to the one located on the pier, with mainly 2p machines. It's quieter and less noisy, making it comfortable for those who find noisy places challenging. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the arcade is clean with ongoing improvements. If you're a fan of amusements, this could be a place you'll enjoy visiting.
We loved our visit here. I've never been before but my sister recommended it and I'm glad she did. It's a bit more basic than the one located on the pier, mainly with 2 p machines etc but that's what I loved about it. Plus it was much less noisy! I find (and so too do my children) find noisy places really challenging to be in and often we can't stay for much time. However, as here was quieter and less busy we were able to play happily and comfortably. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We will come back when we are next in.

Maybe it's just me, but once you've been in one amusement arcade, you've been in them all.
To be fair, though, this one was clean and looked to be making improvements so fair play to them.
If you're a fan of amusements, you'll like it here.

We went here most evenings of our holiday with our Autistic young daughter. The staff were very helpful when we spoke to them about any issue with a machine and quickly rectified any fault (mainly the prize tickets had run out). My daughter enjoyed the games like air hockey and basketball type games as well as the 2p coin fall machine.
We can't fault the establishment and the staff are brilliant.

A playground for single cell organisms, attempting to substantiate the theory of reverse evolution and succeeding. 🐒
It has it's place though, whilst the brainless are in here, they're not wandering onto the roads and being injured and it 'must be more fun than the Job Centre.

Just a typical arcade of todays era. Gone are the days of pinball machines, unfortunately.
Plenty of 2p machines there, so you dont have to blow the bank, for a couple of hours amusement.
Mannings Amusements, situated on Felixstowe Seafront, is a fun-filled center for all ages offering an array of entertainment options. The venue features slot machines, classic arcade games, rides, and bowling alleys. Additionally, visitors can enjoy 13 holes of magical golf set in a varied and strange otherworld filled with libraries, caves, and lost tombs. Many guests appreciate the affordable prices and friendly staff at Mannings Amusements.
We like Mannings Amusement so much we setup a retro gaming lounge here! Iconic art deco building with a vintage arcade, pinball and video games!
Blast from the past — Google review
Took our nearly 4yr old daughter for her first visit to the arcades today.
Mannings has fond memories for both myself and my husband but not today.
There are new machines including a few ticket machines yet all 3 machines we went on none of them printed any tickets.
Every machine had a lovely sticker on mentioning ‘machine malfunction voids winnings’ which is clear they are openly mentioning you won’t win any tickets and there’s nothing you can do about it.
A rather confused toddler indeed….
We will not be returning.

Visited the indoor golf for the first time in over 10 years after seeing the NEW 'magical' advertising. It was cheap and tatty 10 years ago and hasn't changed. It is literally the same but even more dated course with new signs telling you which hole you are playing and glowing score cards. Very disappointed but saying that we did have a laugh in-between moans.

We've been coming to Felixstowe more often now with the grandkids & they love going to Mannings!

Great fun to be had in the amusements. Played crazy golf, course is very tired looking and damaged but still fun and only £3.
Won 80 tickets which didn't get me any prizes, so that was disappointing, Plus a bit of a rip off as getting a good prize would've equalled hundreds of tickets. Still impressed I won those..

Looked like a very interesting place with variety of machines and very close to food and coffee stores.
Plenty of parking outside on road.

Tired amusements, but still fun if you love a 2p machine. The indoor crazy golf gives it the 3rd star (even if the 11th hole was broken). Does what it says on the tin.

Really needs work. Half the machines turned off. No tokens to give out, most the change machines broke. Hardly any prizes to win. Very run down compared to the pier

Old school amusement arcade good mix of modern games and classics though, there's been amusements here since the 1930s I believe. The single most crazy crazy golf you'll ever encounter.

Well to say that this was my second home from when I was a boy is sad to say the least. It had been some time since I had visited and to expect a change is certain however if you knew what it was and now it's shocking. Completely left behind. ZERO renovations I swear down you can't even tell if a single building has had a fresh lick of paint but that is just my frustration. now I am from Ipswich Town which is basically next door but I saw both towns equally pleasant 20 years ago but you would never believe that Felixstowe is the town with one of Europe's biggest ports. So rin down and depressing. Anyway now I need to set aside my personal opinion and it's like this if you are new and just visiting the area then by all means Felixstowe is a lovely and off-peak beautifully quiet and the beach has been looked after. Alot more stones than sand but I think they attempted to make it more comfortable. so as long as you are not making it home it could be rather lovely now what I mean by this is it isn't just the buildings that have been left behind. It has become a hive for bad banger boy racers that race narrow beach Road beeping and little kids everywhere and allot of other trouble. Also the majority demographic of the people who frequent the area are your run of the mill thugs, loud girls and all seem to be looking for trouble with every group aggressively holding their ground and waiting for a reaction. I did go on a really hot and busy day so yes that doesn't paint a complete picture but I honestly believe it's still a lovely visit for someone who hasn't been.
Felixstowe Leisure Centre is a community hub offering various recreational activities such as indoor bowling green, swimming pools, and a soft-play area. The facility hosts family inflatable sessions on Sundays which can be easily booked online at affordable rates. The temperature of the pools is comfortable and suitable for everyone. Visitors with children of different ages can enjoy their time there as all had a great time during their visit.
Great day had today with family.
Nice deep pool, good prices and friendly staff.
Bit of a trek from where I live, but hoping to return b4 summer hols ends

Went on a Sunday for the family inflatable session. Easy to book online and really reasonably priced.
Pools were warm. Took 4 children of various ages and they all had a great time.
The only thing I have an issue with is that I phoned before I booked and I specifically asked, will my 3 year old with a float vest be allowed on the inflatable and I was told she could, but when I arrived the life guard said she couldnt do the whole course, just the first obstacle, So that was annoying. But apart from that we had a really good time. Will be going again

Felixstowe leisure centre is really good. The water is really warm and there is a good variety of slides and inflatables.
We went there for a kids party and it’s well set up for this kind of event including having an area for parents to sit right next to the pool.
One to note, the car park next to the pool is really cheap £1.70 for 2 hours, but it isn’t the biggest.

A very nice hour or so was spent by me on a Monday afternoon relaxing in the main pool, trying to rid myself of pesky sciatica and it is helping me thinnks. Will go back again as the staff were very pleasant and helpful and facilities were clean.

Love this pool, good temperature water and love going on the flume. Gym is a bit outdated and needs some TLC but is a good gym still as has a wide range of equipment. All reasonably priced great afternoon out.

We visited this pool April 2024. It was the worst leisure facilities I have ever used. There was grime and grot everywhere, I booked a family fun inflatable session, no inflatables in use, slide was shut, water was cold, my family and I stayed 5 mins then left £20 lighter. Avoid this place. This place needs closing down!!!!!!

Great pool, and the slide is great for the kids, you can also go down with the little ones. My only criticism was the staff on entry were a little moody but I guess you can't be happy all the time.

Good pool, good price. But poor changing facilities as a family with a young child. Not enough family change areas, and the 2 they do have were very dirty and smelly. The rest of the changing areas were good.

Saturday 13th Jan 2024 was my 1st session in the new spin studio.
Great new bikes, & for me, a better atmosphere in the darkened studio with the lighting effects.
It should be even better when the aircon is connected & the sensor for the lighting arrives, so that the lighting pulses to the music.

Great place to bring kids, massive flume/ slide. It's like 3 pools joined together, with a connecting bridge you can swim under. Kids loved it, I loved it :)
Martin Foxton — Google review
I grew up going swimming here weekly, it’s still a nice place to come to but just a shame things aren’t how they used to be.
The fountains don’t work, things are looking a little run down. The biggest issue for me is the lack of baby changing facilities. I had to wait 20 mins for a family room on my last visit.
The cubicles are small so changing tables can’t be put in them and there’s only 1
Pull down in the changing room which is usually being used too. If I lay my boy on the bench he will roll off.
Despite the above we travel from stowmarket to swim here because of the location & the pools are better than the standard ones in my area.

I take adult swimming lessons here with my coach. The staff are very helpful, welcoming. Treat you like friends. I have been coming here for nearly three years now, if it wasn't for my coach and the staff at the centre I would not have found my love for water this late in life. So thank you all. I don't use all of the facilities so I can't tell you what the classes are like or even what classes they have but they are all marked up online with their memberships but your better off popping in and booking a tour for half hour. To see what suits your needs. They have swimming for those with disabilities as well and so much more.......
