Beauport Beach is a beautiful, tranquil and secluded beach located near St Brelade in Jersey. Access to the beach can be gained by either taking steps or walking along a scenic trail from the St Brelade Church bus stops. While there are no nearby amenities like toilets or shops, the peaceful ambiance makes it worth the visit. The beach is not crowded and provides an ideal environment for relaxation.
It's probably the most beautiful place we visited whilst on holiday. Thanks to the locsl lady walking her dogs who told us about it. Access down to the beach isn't easy . Lots and lots of uneven steps wind down to the beach. Which when we vidited was utterly deserted. If you didn't know where you were, you could have been mistaken for thinking you were in Thailand.

A small but a beautiful beach. There are no toilets or shops nearby and you have to take steps or a long slope to get there, but it’s not busy and it’s very relaxing.
We walked around 15 mins from St Brelade church bus stops to here. Walking on the road is easier but taking a waking trail is more scenic.

Best beach in Jersey. Absolutely stunning views and gorgeous sand and water. Perfect for swimming in and just the ideal beach.

About Beauport
Beauport Bay is the very definition of a hidden gem, geographically close to the busy St. Brelade’s Bay but a world away in terms of atmosphere. It’s improbable that a visitor would stumble across Beauport unless they knew exactly where to look, so the majority of beachgoers here are local, and those in the know arrive early to bag a good spot on the sand.
Reaching Beauport is an adventure in itself with a steep pathway and steps tumbling down the cliff face from the small car park above. The reward for these efforts clambering down (and later back up!) is one of the most picturesque wild bays in Jersey, if not the world.
Surrounded on all sides by towering granite cliffs the south facing bay is a renowned sun-trap, and the turquoise water here is calm, perfect for swimming and a popular anchor spot for local and visiting boat owners. Local teens earn their bragging rights by jumping into the water from a number of dizzyingly high rocks around the bay, but an excellent knowledge of local tides and water depth is required to do this safely and it’s not recommended to follow suit!
There is no public transport serving Beauport, but the nearest bus stop in St. Brelade’s Bay is around a 15-minute walk away. Due to the nature of the steep pathway and steps this beach is sadly not recommended for those with mobility difficulties, and there are no toilet or catering facilities here.

Such a beautiful beach! It's a bit of a walk down the stairs to the beach but so worth it.

Great little beach. Also included a few photos of the associated car park for those who like to know a little more about the parking arrangements

Superb beach not very crowded. Unsuitable for disabled as it is accessed from a steep flight of unven steps. Worth the effort though. No amenities on the beach

Quiet small bay very well sheltered from wind if coming the right Direction Westerly wind I think small forest area on the left bit of a walk down the steps but worth it

A real gem of a beach, a bit of a walk down the steep steps but we'll worth the effort.
St Brelade's Parish Church is a stunning Protestant church with a fisherman's chapel that is definitely worth visiting. The church boasts original paintings and has recently added a public access defibrillator in a yellow cabinet to the side of the Church Hall. The Rector delivers welcoming and uplifting services that are sincere and enjoyable, making it an ideal location for Christmas Day service or any other occasion.
We attended a lovely Christmas Day service here. The Rector was welcoming and delivered a sincere and uplifting service which we enjoyed very much. The church itself is very beautiful. Definitely worth a visit! The fisherman's chapel too.

Beautiful church and sister Fisherman's chapel. Peaceful and uplifting places to take time to pause. Fascinating interior decoration, especially in the Fisherman's chapel. Lovely views over the beach from graveyard.

This is the parish church of St. Brelade. I visited her as I also wished to visit the adjacent Fisherman's Chapel. The building is made up of many small stones and this gives it a fairly unique look. The church has a large graveyard and also some great views across St. Brelades Bay

Absolutely beautiful both Church + Chapel. A Public Access Defibrillator is now positioned to the side of the Church Hall seen here in the photo in a bright yellow cabinet.

Visited here 13 years ago for a wedding. Wanted to go back as not seen anything else of the island. Had a fantastic time.

This is a beautiful church, which obviously has a lot of history. It would have been nice to be able to learn more about it, as information on it was unfortunately scarce from what I could see on our visit to the church. It is still worth a visit, though, as the stained glass is stunning! Also go and look in the little fisherman's chapel for some rare ceiling paintings.

Quaint fisherman's church right next to the bay, free to enter & was an added trip on our coach tour, cos our driver was a such a nice guy.

Lovely church although I didn't attend a service. As nice on the inside as it is on the outside.

A really wonderful church and chapel. Some original paintings are revealed. Do visit this!

A very interesting church with wall paintings in the adjacent chapel. The cemetery is a story in itself.

La Corbière is a small island located on the west coast of Jersey, accessible by a causeway. One of the most popular activities to do here is watching the sunset from this gorgeous spot with its quaint lighthouse. The Radio Tower nearby offers amazing views of the lighthouse and can even be booked for accommodation. La Corbière Lighthouse can only be accessed by foot during low tide and visiting it has become a trendy activity among tourists interested in lighthouses.
Great place to visit especially when its a low tide for you to cross over to the tower. Great for walk, sightseeing or listening to music while sitting on one of the benches. A must do for Island visitors.

Lovely walk from St Aubins. Starts just round corner from Morrison's. Bought sandwiches to take with us. Well signposted and fabulous views when we got there. Was 3 and half miles each way and well-deserved ice-cream at light-house. We could have stopped off at Poplars tearooms on way but went there from St Brelades on another walk

A great photo opportunity! Be sure to visit at low tide and during sunset - the views are magical. The location is accessible by public transport but check the bus schedule if visiting out of high season. We came here at low tide and walked to the lighthouse itself. Climbing the stairs was not possible because the fence was locked but the main beauty was the overall look. Near the lighthouse there are several hoppers left after WWII - they looked clean and maintained which was a nice surprise. There`s a lot of history here.

Great views and a nice walk. The ice cream parlour on the top of the hill is amazing. Make sure you check tide times if you walk over to the lighthouse, as the causeway would be submerged and you are stuck.
Edward Wright — Google review
Glad to say the tide was out so I could walk over the causeway to see it closer. One of Jersey's most iconic landmarks.
Andrew Vail — Google review
The lighthouse is particularly beautiful without buildings, and although there are no other architectural attractions around, it is worth exploring the remains of the bunkers that have preserved many historical relics, and walking along the trail and watching the boats passing by the coastline make you want to start a new journey
JIMMY CHIN — Google review
Must be great when the sunsets and the light house is operating. Feels very atmospheric.
There are also a number of WW2 fortifications in the area some of which are occasionally open to the public to visit.
The lighthouse has a causeway to it so please be mindful of tide times.
Parking is available and there's an ice cream stall open for the summer period
Toilets are close by, and it's reasonably disabled friendly place to visit.

Lovely place and beautiful sunsets. Sea tides create each day different landscape.

Simply beautiful. Anytime of day is good to visit. Sunsets can be spectacular. Storms are amazing. This place has it all.
Francisco Scaramanga — Google review
Amazing views. Walk the causeway at low tide to the lighthouse and explore the many rock pools on the way. Head back up the hill on foot to the busy Corbie Phare restaurant for lunch at a sensible price for quality sea food.

Great, the wind was howling in November but liked walking around the site. The bus drops you nearby and is hourly. Worth a visit.

This was one of my mom n dads favorite places to visit when they were in Jersey... So along with my dad we took a trip on a dull Sunday... As we walked to the lighthouse the most started to clear, and we got some fantastic views... The rocks either side of the causeway clearly visible... We meandered back had an ice cream in the sun, watched as the tide came in, took bets on whether people would make it back or not.. 🤣🤣... Lovely place.. so calm and serene
Mark Shand — Google review
The View is excellent from the coastline and the walk across at low tide is great and definitely worth it, but make sure you get the timing right with the tides. There are many WWII bunkers which are located on the cliffs at the start of the walk to the lighthouse.
Andrew Evans — Google review
What a beautiful place! We walked across as there was a low tide and the beauty was breathtaking.
Mary Campbell — Google review
An iconic landmark of Jersey. Small car parking area. Check tide times prior to visiting as its only accessible via causeway at low tide. Well worth the walk.
Harbour View Self Catering Jersey is a guesthouse situated in a convenient location with great views of the harbour. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, although they may be slightly outdated. The friendly staff make for a welcoming experience and there is a varied breakfast available to guests. In terms of value for money, it is excellent and there is ample parking available in the car park. Guests have access to free bike hire and pets are welcome at this B&B with gardens.
Fantastic location with view over the harbour and a minute away from the amazing sandy beach and good restaurants on the door step too. Beautifully decorated rooms, top standard facilities, there is everything we hoped for and more. Thank you Kelly for being so lovely, we had a great time and even the winter stormy weather could not take the beauty away from this place.

Great little B&B in the centre of St. Aubin with a garden. Decent size room with harbour view. We didn't see the owner at all during our stay, but it wasn't a problem. Good variety of food for breakfast.

For those seeking a quieter destination on the island, Portlet Bay Cafe is highly recommended by locals. This hidden gem boasts clear shallow waters and golden sands, but visitors should be prepared to navigate a steep set of stairs to reach it. The cafe offers delicious meals with amazing views overlooking the sea and tidal activity, making it an excellent choice for lunch.
My favourite beach cafe in the world ! Haven’t eaten pizza since I was last in Jersey at Portelet cafe 2 years ago as I said it just can’t be beaten for location, atmosphere and taste! Fabulous staff , great beach . Good for early morning dips in bay as so quiet and so beautiful .
Steep steps to restaurant but well worth the effort . Very memorable meal . We loved it so much we came back twice in 1 week
Book in advance as gets full at busy times but an absolute must if you come to Jersey as it will be an unforgettable experience . We loved watching people arriving on boats just to collect their take away pizzas . Thank you for looking after us all so well on our visit to Jersey ! 🤩

Nice little hidden cafe just off the beach in Portelet. You could go for a good dip and have lunch here. The food is good, the view is great and the service is excellent. We ordered pizzas and beer and the prices seemed reasonable enough for the experience you get. You can park your car in the portelet car parking a little further away from the restaurant and walk down here. Spent a good 3 hours here. Highly recommend this place as a must-do when you visit jersey. 10/10.

A fantastic spot at Portelet Beach, they have dine in or take away options which is really handy if you want a more time on the beach. The food and service was really great, no complaints. It was a really pleasant evening and the views topped it off.

Best pizza in Jersey, perfectly thin and flavourful (especially the garlic bread), fantastic view and pleasant staff. ACCESS TO TOILETS.

Beautiful location, stunning views, tasty food and friendly staff. It doesn’t get any better than this on a sunny day in March (although I can imagine I might feel differently when it’s no doubt mobbed in July).
We had a pizza (thin crust) which was pretty good and the scallop salad which was excellent. With a bottle of Prosecco the bill came to just over £50.
Already looking forward to a return visit.
Battery Lothringen is an impressive World War II German military bunker complex located in Jersey, Channel Islands. The restoration work done on the bunkers is of a very high standard and deserves appreciation. This hidden piece of Jersey history offers spectacular views and can easily be missed from the road. It is one among many bunker complexes in the area and provides an insight into the island's past during wartime. Visitors can explore inside during open days organized by CIOS (Channel Islands Occupation Society).
Been back again in 2019....Fantastic WW2 German military bunker complex. Very interesting and the Bunkers have been restored to a very high standard. I return every year congratulations to Paul and all the volunteers for there work and effort...Fantastic
