Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, is a picturesque body of water surrounded by charming towns and offering various activities such as boat rides, swimming and walks. It is a popular summer resort that was enjoyed even by the ancient Romans. Verona, located nearby, offers visitors the chance to see Juliet's famous balcony and explore her house. The views around Lake Garda are breathtakingly beautiful with stunning architecture and scenery that are truly out of this world.
Absolutely beautiful, From the scenery to the people , stunning architecture. We couldn't recommend it more. A must visit !

This place was wonderful. Healthy air. Smell of nature. Really relaxing. There are plenty of activities you can do near the lake. Many restaurants where you can eat with beautiful sight around you. It’s really breathtaking. A good spot for tourists. Overwhelming places. There were also a place to walk very near the lake. Worth it everything you do. Just one advice on summer bring some lotion for mosquito or any thing which can avoid mosquitoes.

It’s so beautiful and amazing, there is a change for every city you visit here.
The view changes if raining, windy or sunshine.
Just an WOW effect.

Beautiful. Went in the middle of the winter and it was extraordinarily peaceful and still charming! Bordered it all the way South in route to Bologna and saw amazing views for many Kms with beautiful little towns along the way.

Beautiful lake, it's huge.
We only went to a small part on the shore and we were in one of the restaurants to freshen up.
I think is beautiful if you can go in boat 🛥️or swim there.

Beautiful lake surrounded my mountains with stunning views everywhere you look. It is a very good mix between beautiful cities with nice arhitecture, sports options (cycling, water sports, climbing) and typical sea vacantions. You can go with the ferry or car around the lake from one city to another. You can find delicious, italian food everywhere.

Definitely a must visit place in Italy. Lake has crystal clear water and some of the best views from Malcesine!

It's a vacation of many European here, camping mostly. And the water is beautiful blue water like ocean. The town is nice not so big to take a walk along the lake side. Lots of good restaurants to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.

Fell in love with this place the very moment I saw it for the first time. Although it is quite busy in august, I still loved it. So many things to do for everyone’s taste and pocket.

This is one of the most beautiful places in the world in my limited experience.😁
Mountainous and stillness of the lake at times. Great architecture in the towns that surround the lake.

Lake Garda is breathtakingly beautiful! I was there for a wedding that took place at a castle on the lake. The views were some of the best that nature has to offer. It was calm and serene. The shops along the boardwalk were fascinating. And it was easy enough to get around the lake, both by taxi and/or ferry.

One of my favourite lakes in Italy is Lake Garda. There are so many lovely hotels and apartments 😍 ☺️. It is a lovely place to bike, walk, swim, etc.

Stayed out of season, in a quiet area away from tourist. Total awesome, local food was lovely and locals where polite. Even though my Italian was awful. 😁

Garda is a very special place , it’s just beautiful.I was many times there but this time in winter. We went to Lazise which is beautiful but pretty quiet in November.Almost everything is closed but there are a few places open for coffee or food.At least the traffic and parking are easier in November

Lungo Lago Europa is a picturesque promenade located in the heart of Lugano, Switzerland. This charming lakeside walkway offers stunning views of Lake Lugano and the surrounding mountains. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls along the waterfront, taking in the beauty of the natural landscape and soaking up the serene atmosphere. The promenade is lined with cafes, restaurants, and shops, making it a delightful place to relax and indulge in some local cuisine or pick up unique souvenirs.
The Locanda San Vigilio is a sophisticated lakefront hotel that features charming old-world quarters. The establishment boasts an outdoor swimming pool, bar, and restaurant for guests to indulge in during their stay. The hotel's location provides picturesque scenery for visitors to admire while enjoying the excellent service provided by the staff. The food served at the restaurant is top-notch, although vegetarians may have limited options as there is only one vegetarian meal on the menu.
We had the most beautiful evening here enjoying an aperitif and dinner. The atmosphere was romantic, welcoming and relaxing. The three gentlemen in service exuded professionalism and dedication to their job. The food was just outstanding; there really isn’t allot more to say apart from the food being the highlight. There was only three tables reserved so it was very intimate dining experience. I think during the high season it would be a different story and not so enjoyable. RESERVATIONS MANDATORY AND GENTLEMEN MUST WEAR LONG TROUSERS.

Boat service has been deplorable and unpleasent 2 years in a row.. and despite a 5€ tip for a 20meters way to the hotel harbor. The hotel skipper recommended to not put a lifevest to a kid of 3 years old.. just to save 1min… very poor shuttle boat service which ruins the experience

So lovely, so beautiful such a wonderful experience- we enjoyed the last weekend and it was again impressive- the Locanda , the breakfast, the dinner , the lovely own Locanda Brut and Soave wine , we enjoyed also the Parco infrastructure very much - we went there the first time 25 years ago and since then on of my favorite places on earth - simply magic

Shame about the service. It's a beautiful location. But, the waiter was not good. One waiter indicated we could sit where we liked then another waiter came and insisted we moved (in a unfriendly way). It wasn't busy and no one used our original table while we were there. Also brought us the wrong drinks and forgot to bring the coffee.

Horrible Desaster Story!!!
We were on our nice sort holly days at the lake Garda.
And for the cherry on top we reserved a table on the well recommended restaurant for excellent dining.
The reservation took place a couple of weeks in advance so we were all looking forward to this nice evening.
The one couple in our group of five wanted to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
So we drove to the location for a good 3/4h.
When we arrived one staff member wanted to show us the table when suddenly an elderly woman from the staff appeared and stopped us in a very unpleasant way.
It was a very hot day so the man were dressed accordingly with button-downs and shorts.
The women were dressed in light evening dresses.
So the elderly waitress stopped us and complained about our shorts wich are apparently not allowed according to the dress code.
We asked very politely if there is anything we can do but the rude waitress send us away.
We were so disappointed in this restaurant since we only heard good recommendations.
Apparently if one can believe the other reviews the stuff changed in the last 2-3 years and since then there are many complains about this location.
I wouldn’t recommend going there. We were treated poorly.
But the location looks kinda nice.

A very beautiful and idyllic place to have a coffee, or a drink and chill. We didn't eat here but they do serve food.

Idyllic scenery, nice location and good service. Excellent food
For all vegetarians: there is only one vegetarian meal on the whole menu. When asking for vegetarian starter options several times, the kitchen could not suggest 1-2 options, so I went for an unspectacular caprese… I mean, we are in 2022…

We were a group of 25 who enjoyed an amazing lunch at the hotel restaurant. We were located outside on the terrace and it was the most beautiful setting with a stunning view. It was a lunch buffet with an incredible amount of delicious and tasty choices such as fresh fish, tender meat and delicious vegetable dishes. Outside they made crisp vegetables and offered a great cheese selection. The service was very nice as well. If you are looking for a great restaurant with a beautiful location - this is the place.
Parco Baia delle Sirene is a lakefront park that is situated in a serene forest setting. The park boasts of numerous amenities such as a private beach, picnic areas, and playgrounds. Visitors to the park can choose between relaxing by the pool or enjoying the beautiful lake view. Despite being more expensive than other parks in Garda, Parco Baia delle Sirene provides comfortable sunbeds and excellent food and beverage options.
If you want to enjoy a bit of luxury:) We paid 18€/person = afternoon admission, lounger and towel included. Two bistros for drinks and snacks, clean toilets, service and private beach. Crystal clear water. Worth the money😉 Amazing sunset as the bonus🌅

We come to Garda since 15 years. We went in the past to Bahia Delle Sirene ( on the opposite side of the Land tongue). This year we went for the first time here. What a difference.
First of all it is more expensive, but the sunbeds are larger and much more comfortable. The major difference are the sanitary facilities. I will not return to Bahia Della Sirene unless they renew them.
I liked the infinity pool and the option to choose the pool or the lake.
Food and beverages are also great and much better than in Bahia Delle Sirene.
I can definitely recommend this place.

I didn't really understand the rules as we had our own towels and umbrella but they said we couldn't use them and had to pay. You don't really expect to have to pay when there are signs saying "Free Entry". It's like bringing food to the cinema, I don't think they are allowed to charge you but all the staff are told you have to pay and get really pushy if you stand your ground.
dijon dajee — Google review
Beautiful setting and beach, everything well maintained. There is a separate beach section for dogs. Plenty of shade. 30€ per person/ sunbed. Hence 60€ for two persons with sunbeds and an umbrella. The bar has food and drinks at reasonable price. Since the beach is rocky, bring your swim shoes. Parking is free
Martin Metz — Google review
Beautiful spot I used to visit for years BUT the new owners seem to have lost any customer orientation. They advertise free entry, but dont let you swim unless you buy the obligatory overpriced sunbeds for 18 (after 2pm) / 25€ full day. Even at 7pm (1 hour before closure) they asked for the full entry price and had no other - more reasonable - ticket option available. Although we wanted to buy drinks and snacks there. Sad to see this „development“ 🙁
Ralf Tischler — Google review
This place advertises “free entry” , which is not the case. Once you park your car and arrive at the entrance, a ticket office kind of establishment welcomes you. Staff explains the meaning of free entry as “you can go in, have a look, walk, see but if you’d like to swim, you have to pay EUR 30 per person for a sun-bed and umbrella”. I believe they are obliged to give you free passage to the beach hence the fuss of “free entry” everywhere. For us, with 2 kids (below 12 is free of charge btw) and just for a 30min plunge, it sounded a bit too overpriced but we wanted to have a look after a 1hr drive. There begins the interesting part. We went in, just walked to the right following the path on the beach and tadaaa! There is a public beach under the trees where you can simply lay your towel and swim free of charge. Just take your food&drinks as you might want to stay here all day. Crystal clear water…
Kursad Terzi — Google review
The place is okay but overpriced and the staff is unfriendly. There are many beaches around the Garda lake that are as good and free of charge. The beach has guards who tell you where you can take a sun bed, or more, where you can’t take a sun bed. There is a lot of available sun beds at the front of the beach but the unpleasant guards insists they are reserved. Even though there is only two of 45 beds taken there.
30 Euros per adult admission fee. Kids under 12 free of charge.

Very well preserved place and fair cost to enter the park. You can enjoy a clean, organized, crystal-clear-water park with tennis table court, beach chairs, table for snacks among the trees. A perfect place to the family with no disturbance. The parking lot is for free. Tip: Arrive at the opening time at 09:30 and then you will easily find a place to park, small lines and lots of place to choose where to stay by the lake and your fun time is guaranteed!

Nice beach, quite crowded in August. Around 12€ entrance fee, 2 coffee bars where you can have snacks or a menu. Toilettes. And gelattos!
Some curious swans around too.

Overall a beautiful and relaxing place, €25 per person (same price children/adults).
There's a relatively long walk down and up on a gravel road. In a hot day with kids it's not easy.
Pool is nice and very clean, but overall there wasn't a great "attitude" for kids.
Did not eat or drink in the restaurant.

Beautiful island close to the West coast of the lake Garda. The island belongs to a noble family, hence it's a private property.
The current shape of the island is the result of artificial enlargement of the original natural island.
On the first island was built a monastery that was destroyed by Napoleon.
The current palace was only built in the late 19th century and it resealables the Palazzo Ducale of Venice.
Members of the noble family that owns this island are still living in the island and, for this reason, only few rooms within the palace are open to public. However it is possible to visit the entire park.
The island can be reached from Sirmione by boat.
Check the island website to book your visit in advance.

Isola del Garda, hosting Villa Borghese Cavazza, is a fairytale island with a breathtaking Venetian neogothic Villa; Privately owned by the Cavazza family the Villa is open to visits and hosts many events/weddings; The 1894 luxurious palace, the Italian symmetric gardens, quay and park come from the mind of the duke Gaetano De Ferrari and his noble Russian wife Maria Sergeevna Annenkova; ~2hrs Tourist visit comes in a bundle with the boat transfer from the main Garda lake cities (e.g. From Sirmione return ticket 38€ Adults, 22€ Kids) and a welcome drink in the main terrace overlooking the majestic green/blue waters of the lake; Furthermore the tour guide will be a member of the Cavazza family, in my case was the extremely kind, educated and professional Alberta Cavazza; The island is so beautiful you cannot believe that it is true; I left my heart there as one of the most beautiful places ever seen and I dream to marry in this wonderful location; Tip: Check the video "Lake Garda Wedding Videography | Lorna & Trevor" on VIMEO to experience how a wedding would be there;

The tour is a bit pricey but worth it. It is available in English, Italian and German. You will learn a lot about the family, the nice garden and you will have a nice view from the terrace. Sadly the boat doesn't stop infront of the island, so it is hard to get a nice photo. The view from the water is definitely a highlight.

Quite an overpriced spot; the garden, orchid galerie, loggia are nice but declined and need more care; only two rooms in the villa are open to visitors (cabinet and dining room), so, despite a good guide, you remain with the feeling that the owners want to get a good outcome while putting little effort into this. The location itself and boat trip were the best part.

Really well kept island, humble owner, and great family and building history to listen to from its own family member! The tour includes light refreshments too. Wear sandals so you can feel the fresh and clean lake water. And hey visitors please do not litter! The place is too gorgeous to be ruined with piles of garbage

Trip was fantastic. We were brought to the Island by the boat and were guided through the island by the daughter of the family owners. She was amazing. She shared the family history and stories of the island. We explored the island with its magnificent grounds and gardens. Visited few rooms in the house. Had a wine and olive oil tasting that is made by the family on the terrace. We were so impressed with the island and how family is doing everything possible to take care of it and share the story.

One of the most beautiful tours I’ve ever experienced. The guides are part of the family that owns, maintains, and renovates the island including the beautiful gardens and villa. Our guide was very passionate about her heritage and was happy to share her experiences of growing up on the island.
