Kravica Waterfall National Reserve is a popular attraction with stunning waterfalls and nearby amenities. There is an entrance fee, but it's worth the cost to spend time sunbathing, enjoying a picnic or sitting in a cafe. The area has rocky coastlines and swift water currents, so special shoes are recommended for swimming. Visitors can take great walks and capture picturesque photos of the breathtaking scenery.
Paid entrance.
But the park is worth the money.
It is better to spend more time here, sunbathe, sit in a cafe or have a picnic. But be careful, the water speed is high and the coast is rocky, take special shoes with you if you plan to swim.
Great place for walking and picturesque photos.

We visited these waterfalls now in July 2022. I can say that the place is more beautiful than in photos. The entrance can be payed by credit card. When arriving near the waterfalls we payed for the boat trip (60 euros for 4 persons). It is worth the money. It is 50 minutes and you can enjoy the landscape, the birds, the fishes and the specific plants that grow there. I recommend to everyone this place.

This is the most beautiful waterfall I've ever been too. It was so refreshing on a hot sunny day to get the lovely mist from the waterfall. The drinks available here were nice too.

The place is amazing. It is fantastic to be allowed to take a bath there, and there are many routes and paths. There is also a turistic train, you can rent sunbeds and towels, there are restaurants and bars, so the place is completely for tourists, beautiful, but crowded even in September as the temperature is about 34 degrees.

Breathtaking waterfalls and clear waters. Warmer months take a dip in the glorious water.
Decent stairs to get to a nice lil type beach area, with a clear parking lot making it easy to visit as well.

Pretty awesome place. The views are very nice. Its a good place to stop while on a road trip or just passing by. Its a good place for families to go. Kids under 18 enter free! Its 10 euros for adults to enter. There are a few restaurants next to the waterfall.

Boasting a stunning view that attracts crowds, this location is perfect for family visits. A mere 5-10 minute downhill walk will lead you there, and the path is quite accessible for both elders and young children. Despite temperatures reaching up to 33 degrees, the water remains delightfully crisp. For those seeking a refreshing dip, it's absolutely perfect!
Boat rentals are conveniently available, providing an exciting opportunity to get up close with the waterfalls. A selection of bars ensures you can quench your thirst, while comfortably lounging on beach chairs. Moreover, restrooms are available, adding to the overall convenience.
Whether you're seeking a bit of adventure or simply a place to relax, this location has a lot to offer. You'll certainly appreciate the natural beauty and well-thought-out amenities.

We visited the waterfall on a day tour from Split and highly recommend doing so of you're either in Split or Dubrovnik and it's really time well spent! Compared to other waterfalls or national parks in Croatia here you can actually swim in the water which is a great plus. The waterfalls are beautiful and a must see. Would come back for sure!

A place worth visiting if in the area. The tickets were 10.30 euro per person, we have payed by a card. The toilets are located just after the tickets office. Parking is spacious and free.
You can admire the beautiful waterfalls while laying down on the bathing beach, so it's worth staying there for a few hours. There are a few places to eat, but you can only pay with cash so be prepared. Word of advice, if you're tempted to buy alcohol from the guy mid way to the waterfalls - don't. The same products are at least 5 e cheaper by the parking.

The waterfalls are nice but it costs 10 euros and the toilets are absolutely disgusting. No toilet paper, smells like urine. There was nowhere to get food or drinks. What exactly did the money go to?

Small and beautiful waterfalls. You can swim and the entrance ticket costs 80 kunas. There is a place to eat and drink next to the waterfall and you can rent a boat to get near the waterfalls.

Very beautiful destination. I recommend visiting here after 18:00 because there is no entry fee (I don't recall the correct time). Getting here by car is simple. There are a lot of parking lots and parking is completely free. Make sure that you do not leave any trash behind. Always take your trash to nearest rubbish bin and recycle if possible.

Great views and amazing water. There are lots of restaurants here so you can stay all day and eat. The entrench costs 10 euro per person. The only minus is that there are a lot of people, bur if you are ever near by you must visit.

The place looks like in old dinosaur times. Is an awesome place to visit, eat, drink, and take a swim in clear cold watters. The waterfall is a spectacular view to enjoy for hours. You can take a 50min boat ride to the small waterfall and back. I recommend the place for relaxation and nice view.

Small multi waterfalls in the old Roman road. You can swim in it too. Reportedly the water was very cold. You had to walk down from the parking lot perhaps 100 meters because it is in a valley in Bosnia Herzegovina. The walk is convenient and delightful.

Wow has this place improved and got a life in the past 10 years. We were there when they only had 1 little hut thing to get drinks and you could still just off the cliffs near the falls. More restaurants now, but the cliffs and close to them has been closed off, so no longer possible. Amazing clean and fresh water!

Stunning waterfalls a short walk (down approx 100-200 steps) from the car park. It's filled with tourists, but this didn't diminish the experience. There are bars all around the edge of the waterfall plunge pool but they are relatively well priced. A very enjoyable freshwater swim will take you right up close to the bottom of the falls. On the far side from you where you come in there is a sandy shallow area where you can paddle. Well worth a visit. 10 eur entry pp, parking free.

Beautiful place :-) Down at the waterfall is a flat river where u can swim (it is cold and a bit fast so be careful!). The view is beuatiful and the sounds of waterfalls are out of world.
There is a parking nearby, then you walk for 10 minutes downhill by foot and youre at the waterfalls.

Beautiful. Too early for swimming or restaurants but worth a visit none the less. Entry fee of 10 Euros per person with washroom facilities at the entrance.

Easy walk down to the waterfall. The parking was free but the entrance was about 10 euros. They don't take euro. Only local currency and card. There is a free bathroom right behind the ticket building. I came in early March. It was very flooded and nothing was open. No tourists though!

MOST EXPENSIVE WATERFALL IN MY LIFE!!
There was nothing inside on December. At least it must be %50 or free on winter times. We were the only people who were visiting here. And we paid because we came all the way to here. But pictures were good thats why not giving 1 star.
Medugorje is a popular site where sightings of the Virgin Mary have been reported since 1981. A climb up Apparition Hill is a significant experience for Catholics, but it requires sturdy footwear and can take at least 30 minutes on a rocky path. The climb is rewarding, offering peaceful and serene views from the top of the hill. Visitors can stop at Lady Queen of Peace prayer statue to enjoy the beautiful scenery before returning back down.
The path is quite difficult, you will need good hiking shoes

On pilgrimage to Medjugorje, this has got to be on your To Do list. On this barren hill, pray and meditate along the way. At the top of the hill, stay a little while at foot of the Crucifix and gaze for a little while into the smiling face of Our Lady of Medjugorje.

Visiting Apparition Hill in Medjugorje was an experience that left a profound impact on me, one that I feel compelled to share. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Bosnia and Herzegovina, this sacred site exudes a sense of peace and spiritual significance that is palpable from the moment you set foot on its hallowed ground. The path leading up to the hill is lined with rocks and wooden crosses, guiding pilgrims on their reflective journey towards the site where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to six local children in 1981.
The atmosphere atop Apparition Hill is serene and inviting, encouraging visitors to pause and contemplate in silence. Regardless of one's religious beliefs, the sense of unity and collective faith among the pilgrims is truly inspiring. It's a place that doesn't just speak to the devout but to anyone seeking solace or a moment of contemplation in today's fast-paced world.
My visit to Apparition Hill was not just a physical journey, but a spiritual odyssey that offered moments of introspection and a deeper connection to something beyond the everyday. For those seeking a place of peace, reflection, and spiritual renewal, Apparition Hill in Medjugorje is a destination like no other.

If you visit Medugorje you must climb Apparition Hill, this is a very moving experience that you will never forget as a Catholic. Be prepared to climb for at least 30 minutes a very rocky path, so bring adequate shoes. The climb up is hard but worth it for the spiritual experience of growing closer to our holly Mary. Once you reach the top, f you will be very peaceful and serene. Stop at the little prayer statue of our Lady, Queen of Peace and turn around and you will see beautiful view from the top of the hill.

One of the most holy and spiritual places in the world. I've come here twice now. Each time has been food for my soul and faith as a Croatian Catholic. More recently, I made the arduous journey up the hill late at night which is very dangerous both up hill as well, if not more, as down hill. Once at the apparition site, it was beautifully silent. Amazing quiet which presented an atmosphere rife for prayer and reflection. If you get a chance to visit this holy place, please do. Take your time with the journey up and down. Allow yourself some time for prayer and reflection once you reach the site. Understand where you are. Understand what you are a part of and what you are witnessing.

This is a spiritual place, and if you are reasonably fit you should be able to get there. It is important to have strong pair of shoes. As always the descent can be potentially dangerous and a high level of caution is required.

Peaceful place. We went on winter time when there's really not a lot of people. It was the best choice.
However, rocky road to make it to the top of the hill. Takes 20min on a slow pace.

This is a beautiful place of prayer. The climb is only suitable for the able bodied (there were lots of people using hiking poles and walking sticks to steady themselves, people of all ages and abilities) and the Cinacolo community nearby do offer to carry people up and back down.
It is a spiritually powerful place to visit!!

Amazing walk up and nice view over the city. There were a few children that ran around and were crying, which interrupted my prayers. Highly recommend going here tho. I also recommend walking barefoot so you get the whole experience

It is a lovely spot for a short hike. Many people travel here as a pilgrimage site. Not a lot of info there so do your research ahead of time. The hike to the site of the apparition is very rocky. The stones have been worn shiny by thousands of visitors. Even so, there isn't a distinct path and navigating the jagged rocks takes time.
No purchase necessary to access the hill. There's also free parking at a nearby dirt lot.

It was my first time being in Bosnia Hergizova, I went there with John Walsh Pilgrim Tour. I paid £750 for 8 days spiritual holiday. Our group leader Milka is an awesome and she is an amazing lady. The hotel was Dubrovnik hotel, it is a clean hotel. The church is 2 minutes walk away. The Risen Christ is also 5 minutes walk away. Viktore restaurant is just opposite of the church and they do amazing food. Reaching out to Apparition hill is extremely challenging, it is a very peaceful place, it is worth showing your love for Mother Mary. You definitely feel Mother Mary's presence when you reach to the top of the hill. I felt that she is watching over all of us & every single one of us😍😍😍I lovveee her so muchhhh, she is my energetic sugar grandmother in Heaven 11😁👍👼🏼💙💎🖤she is also here in this Hologram we all are living in. I am so happy I managed to find her. The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly, the food was very tasty and they are very generous with the portions. I was so fortunate to be able to meet Ivan from the visionary children Mother Mary has chosen to deliver her messages. Imma & I were invited to the visionary arrangement meeting. Mother I believe Mary wanted to see us while we were in Bosnia Herzegovina on her birthday. I felt so special.☺️We also attended a meeting with the lovely priest gentlemen, he also said a pendant will be given to all of us, it has God Jesus & Mother Mary on it. I believe in their power, I love them both. ☺️I definitely recommend visiting Bosnia Hergizova. I definitely recommend taking the challenge, I did visit Bosnia Hergizova, I took the challenge, I showed my gratitude and love to Mother Mary and God Jesus. I am so happy.

Church of Saint James the Greater (Apostle) - Medjugorje
The Church of Saint James the Greater (Apostle) in Medjugorje is a significant site for pilgrims, offering Mass and spiritual experiences. Dedicated to St. James the Apostle, the church showcases local architecture and houses religious artifacts and paintings, including a large depiction of the Virgin Mary. Visitors can participate in Mass, rosary, confessions, and adoration in multiple languages throughout the week. The church attracts faithful from around the world for international gatherings that create a spiritually awakening atmosphere.
The centerpiece of Medjugorje. The faithful from around the world are drawn here. Mass inside or outside, are international gatherings. The atmosphere is a spiritual awakening. While here, visit the garden of the Resurrected Savior, Ajdo Ajdics beautiful creation.

In front of the church is the marble statue of the Blessed Virgin, which has become a symbol of the shrine.
The current church of the Catholic parish and dedicated to the Holy Apostle James the Great (Sveti Jakov), predestined name, St. James being the patron saint of pilgrims, was completed and consecrated in 1969.
Today, the huge number of pilgrims makes it sometimes (often) too small. The morning liturgical program, as we have seen, is conducted in several languages. The pastoral care of the parish is confided to the priests of the Herzegovinian Franciscan Province of the Assumption of Mary, established in Medjugorjie in 1892. By this I understand, perhaps I am wrong, that the parish is cared for by the Franciscan Order and not by a Catholic diocese....maybe with some consequences.

Medgugorje is a magical place for everyone. I am not a Catholic but am a Christian and I felt it to be a place of silence/tranquility/ spirituality/ and reflection. A spiritual retreat of sorts! This church was beautiful as were the surrounding grounds with symbolic statues and the atmosphere was electric! People from all over the world came for the pilgrimage and I heard at least 7 different nationalities ( probably a lot more) . We attended the English mass the two days we spent there and had the pleasure of hearing Fr. Leon speak and he is one of my all time favorite speakers! You can tell he definitely has a calling and he loves what he is called to do. His messages “spoke to my heart” in so many different ways that I could relate to so I highly recommend going to his services! Mass is held in so many languages- there is something for everyone which I appreciated! Love this church and the town of Medugorje! I haven’t left yet ( leave tomorrow) but already want to come back! God bless everyone! Peace be with you all! 🥰

So grateful to be able to undertake one of our first Saturday devotions here in Medjugorje. This is my second visit (my wife's fourth) and despite the increasing popularity it remains a very spiritual and rewarding experience. Mass, rosary, confessions and adoration are all regularly celebrated in multiple languages, throughout the week and the programme is available in most hotels as well as at the church. Whether you come in a group pilgrimage or by yourself, let Our Lady bring you here at least once.....
Kip Uskrsloga Krista, also known as the Risen Christ Statue, is a significant pilgrimage site in Medugorje. This statue was gifted to the Parish in 1998 and holds deep symbolism with its representation of Jesus' tomb and resurrection. Created by Slovenian artist Andrej Ajdic, it is a remarkable piece of art that has moved many visitors.
Greeting pilgrims from all over the world with its wide open arms for all humanity, rhe Risen Christ Statue was an Easter gift in1998 to the Parish. The part of fhe statue on the ground represents the tomb of Jesus. The upright Jesus represents the Resurrection. Leaking from the lower legs, tear like liquid weeps from the statue. I have witnessed these drops coming out of the legs and it is a profound experience. This Andrej Ajdic statue is a beautiful creation from the gifted Slovenian artist.
Alan Hennessy — Google review
"From the right knee of this sculpture, for some years, a tear-like liquid leaks continuously, which however does not evaporate and does not freeze. You can see, at any time of day or night, pilgrims who with lots of tissues wipe the knee of the great statue to the imposing Christ Risen bronze, from which comes a timid but continuous drop of water." Behind the church, near Via Domini, in front of the cemetery where famous Franciscan brothers are buried, is the Risen Christ Statue. The statue represents Jesus crucified, but leaving the earthly cross and ascending to heaven. The statue of the Risen Christ is a subject of great adoration.
The statue was made of bronze and copper in 1998 by Slovenian artist Andrej Ajdic. As can be seen in photos, believers carefully collect the drops that drip from the Savior's right knee. These drops drip / flow in varying amounts, regardless of the weather (cold or heat). But it is a real phenomenon that some consider miraculous, and others just a "simple" condensation ... Around the statue of the Risen Jesus is arranged a "mini" Via Crucis (Way of the Cross) with altars of prayer and silence, for those who can not climb the Via Crucis on Križevac (Mount of the Cross).

Amazing energy around the statue. It is a symbol to.many Catholics who turn up in droves to capture the water droplets forming at the statues knee as a symbol creating a symbol of Hope and health. The formation of the water droplets remains unexplained.
