Dicasalarin Cove is a privately owned beach situated in a tranquil bay bordered by rugged cliffs. It offers an opportunity for walks to a nearby lighthouse for visitors who enjoy exploring. The entrance fee is Php 250.00 per person, and there have been some recent developments like the reception hut and landscaped spaces.
The place is so nice, you won't regret going! This is a must go place in Aurora if you're visiting Baler. Can only be accessible by boat ride and, around 45 minutes, travel time. The restaurant and private rooms are also closed due to the low number of people visiting the place.
The good thing is, we ended up having the entire cove for our pleasure.

20-30 mins from town proper. Roads are paved but small, steep ride. Operated by Costa Pacifica. Entrance fee is 350pesos, free for 6 years old and below. Last guest entry is 3PM, closes at 5PM.
Wide beach front. Almost white sand. The kids enjoyed picking up seashells and stones. Small river/delta, an option for those who like calmer water.

We went at the perfect time. No one around so we had the place to ourselves. It was clean, quiet, and peaceful. We spent a good hour just chilling and floating by the shore.
Good thing we brought our own snacks and drinks though cos when I say no one's around, I meant NOT ONE PERSON AT ALL.. not even the staff.
In-house guests of Costa Pacifica get free admission.

the cove itself is wonderful but it is privately owned and restricts access to the beach which is a public domain. you have to pay 350 pesos/person to stay there. the beach is not ideal for swimming too, a bit rocky. there's a river on the side where it is also nice to swim in clean clear and cold fresh water.
this is currently only accessible by boat. used to be accesible by car but road is also privately owned, so unless you know the land owner it's a no go.
there's a scenic light house which you can hike with 100+ cemented stairs, the view there is really outstanding! be careful with the cliffs as the rail guards are all rusted and destroyed

Update (March 2022): There are a few new developments like the reception hut and landscaped spaces. Still a beautiful, secluded beach area.
Make sure your vehicle is ready to climb a narrow, one-way road across a mountain.
Entrance fee: Php 250.00 per person.
Original post: This made our Baler trip totally worth the long drive. Beautiful even on a cloudy day.

This place holds a special place in me since this is where my boyfriend proposed. We were Cube guests so we got discount. Regular entrance fee is 300/head. We ate at the resto near the parking at base of the mountain (entrance is on top just before pag-asa center). Free cottage but u can just sit literally anywhere. We had the whole place all to ourselves as we arrived at 3pm and stayed until 5pm. I couldn't explain the majestic but eerie feeling that we were the only guests in the place. We barely swam bc the current was a little strong. Each angle is ig-worthy! Extremely peaceful with just the sound of nature in the background. The beach has fine white sands but has scattered stones and rocks as well especially when nearing the river until the base of the lighthouse entry point. 175 steps going to the sundial type lighthouse. The place is naturally beautiful, an isolated area that can still be improved.

Owned by a local government official but open to the public. Make sure to call in advance as it’s closed at times.
We got lucky and had the whole place to ourselves when we visited. Entrance fee is ₱350 per head and they only accept cash.
There is also a restaurant that serves lunch:
Food 3/5
Servings 4/5
Price is more on the expensive side
Bring your own drinks or buy at a higher price from their restaurant.

this place is very perfect if you wanted to unwind. if you will visit here make sure to bring your family, friends or even your love one's it may be a tiring and long travel but it's worth travelling because of the ambiance of the Dicasalarin Cove was enough to wash away all the stress and exhaustion. so what are you waiting for? call your friends and families, pack your things and enjoy the holiday season 😁

Going here was not easy. Motorbike will bring you here that will cost you 150 each entrance is 300/pax but it was all worth it! Climbing those stairs going to the lighthouse though strange yung lighthouse nla but still so happy when you're on top! Plus going the cave too sad we're not able to swim in the cave because that time was high tide. A must place to visit if few hours from Baler.

The beach is very clean and the sand is fine. The toilet and changing rooms are clean too. There are tables and chairs and kubos. Too bad the railings going up the lighthouse were damaged. Hopefully, they can fix it.
Ditumabo Mother Falls is a magnificent waterfall nestled in the midst of lush rainforest, known for its dazzling white waters that gush down from high above. Visitors can reach this popular tourist attraction by embarking on a 45-minute nature trek through the verdant surroundings. The falls are also referred to as Mother Falls due to their grandeur and size, which surpasses any other waterfall in the area.
absolutely beautiful. The falls itself is majestic, misty and nothing short of glorious. Quite a trek tho. Entrance fee is 30per head plus tour guide fee of 200.

Our visit to Ditumabo Mother Falls was an exhilarating adventure, providing a memorable experience filled with both challenges and natural beauty. Here's my review:
Pros:
Fresh Air and Natural Beauty: The air surrounding Ditumabo Mother Falls was crisp and invigorating. Along the way, we were treated to the delightful sight of bright blue butterflies, enhancing the overall ambiance.
Exciting Trail: The journey to the Mother Falls is an adventure in itself. Crossing six bamboo bridges adds a unique and thrilling element to the trek.
Nature's Splendor: The Mother Falls is a magnificent sight. Its powerful cascade, surrounded by the sounds of nature, creates a serene and picturesque setting perfect for relaxation and appreciation of the natural world.
Cons:
Physically Demanding: The trail leading to the Mother Falls can be physically challenging, particularly for those unaccustomed to walking on uneven, steep, and rocky terrain. It's advisable to wear comfortable and durable footwear to navigate the trail safely.
Expect to Get Wet: Be prepared for your footwear to get wet, especially if you decide to venture closer to the Mother Falls. This is an integral part of the adventure, so plan accordingly for a more enjoyable experience.

It's a very scenic route from the falls. Worth the trip after that 1 km upstream along the mini hydro dam that powers the near by town. Just be ready to get wet half body or bring anything that can be soaked.
Have to pay 30 php per person and 200 for the guide it's worth the trip.

Ditumabo Falls or Mother Falls in Baler, Aurora.
Entrance Fee of Php 30 per head and a mandatory Guide Fee of Php 300 per group. Not sure if there is a maximum number of persons per group, maybe 6 to 10.
30 to 45 minutes hike from the main entrance, crossing multiple streams and rivers, rocky and slippery - best to wear hiking shoes or sandals.
100% nature trip...love it.
Coconut or Buko Juice available along the way (the meat and juice...the whole package) at Php 25 only.

A short hike required to get to the falls which isn't to bad, Its quite wet at the falls so take some water proofing if you want to take some photos. The falls at the time i went were more chaotic the majestic and it was pretty busy on the weekend, try and go through the week if possible.

Ditumabo falls also known as Mothers Fall is one of the biggest falls in Baler. It 15km from Baler city and a 30 min drive. You need to pay 30 peso entry fee per adult plus 200 peso for the guide which is compulsory due to the tracking which can be dangerous without guide. The tracking itself is very scenic with river flowing on your sides and beautiful nature. The water in the fall is very cold and refreshing. Definitely recommend this place.

Depending on your pace, the trek will take you about 30mins or so to reach Ditumabo Mother Falls. It's pristine and turquoise water is very inviting and is cold as ice. This is a must visit place in San Luis, Aurora before going to Baler, the birthplace of Philippine surfing.

A beautiful raging falls with pristine waters and equally pristine trail. You can see the care that the locals put into maintaining this tourist spot.
To get here, it will take around 15-30 minutes if you’re coming from Baler to go to the parking area, then another 15-30 minutes to trek from that point to the falls itself (depending on your pace).

Sabang Beach located in Baler, Aurora is a renowned destination for surfers due to its powerful waves particularly during the monsoon season. It has gained popularity as a weekend getaway spot because of its accessibility from Manila and nearby areas. This beach in the eastern region of Luzon, specifically in Aurora, is known for generating swells that attract surfing enthusiasts looking to enhance their skills and gain experience.
Don't expect white sand in sabang Beach but the wave is very cool for surfing

Way lesser crowd compared to Elyu and Liwliwa (month of May). Air was a bit colder too and less humid compared to those two as well, including Pampanga and Manila. Didn't know that Baler is such a good alternative as a summer destination (see last pic showing 3PM temps from Windy app).

One of my favorite places to chill. Been staying in this area everytime we go to Baler. This is were surfing in Baler happens. There are also lots of accomodations, cafes, and restos that cater to different budget considerations. Although this area could get touristy, it still retains a very local vibe since you seldom see foreign tourists.

People are friendly.
There are many hotels and transient homes in the area.

It was summer 2017. We stayed at Pacific Waves Inn, about 100 meters from the beach. The beach was really made for surfing. The waves are strong yet gentle. Surfers, young and old, could go farther from the shore because the water is shallow. Even if you are not fond of surfing, you can still enjoy the beach as there are lots of things to watch. You can even do other things like yoga, kite flying, or just walk around the beach line.
Local surfing trainers are kind and you can haggle their rate. We paid 300 pesos for an hour of surfing lessons. This included the surfboard. My friends paired with each other to share the fee. Half an hour of surfing will definitely tire you. Some of the trainers have short temper, probably because some people are just naughty or because of multiple training sessions.
Over all, in the morning or in late afternoon, you can never be wrong with Sabang beach.

The beach is open to public and your valuables aren't safe to the locals. A nice place to have surfing with those constant waves. Would suggest surfing early in the morning for bigger waves. A nice place to relax and sun bath because of the wide view area and windy environment. The nearby restaurants and guest houses offer a worth the price of surfing lesson and with free rental of surfing board.

Diguisit Rock Formation is a breathtaking natural wonder located just a short tricycle ride away from Sabang Beach. Accessible via Daguisit beach, visitors can take a leisurely stroll to reach the impressive rock formations. Shaped by years of relentless waves crashing against the rocks, these sculptures of nature offer an awe-inspiring sight, especially during sunrise and sunset.
Explore the historical Baler Church as part of a walking tour in the area. The Baler Hanging Bridges is a famous tourist attraction that spans over the Tibag-Sabang River. It offers breathtaking views and is a popular spot for taking selfies. We got here on weekdays so we are the only visitor around. The people/resident and the place itself are gloomy. I'm quite surprise it's a "famous" bridge for its feature, it's just a normal substandard bridge. The town has many tourist yet they don't improve. Where are those revenues from the money these tourist are spending on your town? We shouldn't settle for substandard project of these officials. The bridge does not need maintenance, it needs total rebuilding. Their people deserve better, their safety is at stake when passing on this bridge.

My recent visit to the Zabali Hanging Bridge was a mixed experience. The location offers a breathtaking view, making it a promising destination for nature enthusiasts and photography enthusiasts alike. However, I couldn't help but feel concerned about the safety of the bridge during my visit.
Let's start with the positives: The panoramic view from the Zabali Hanging Bridge is nothing short of spectacular. It provides a unique vantage point to admire the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The lush, verdant landscape, complete with a meandering river and distant hills, is a sight to behold. The bridge's location provides ample opportunities for capturing stunning photographs, which leads me to the highlight of our visit.
We had the privilege of having our pictures taken by a local child who exhibited an impressive talent for panoramic shots. It was evident that this young photographer had an innate understanding of the bridge's best angles and the surrounding landscape. Their ability to compose shots surpassed our own, resulting in a collection of captivating photographs that truly captured the essence of the place.
However, my enthusiasm was tempered by concerns about the bridge's safety. The bridge's structural condition appeared less than reassuring, and the sense of stability while crossing was not entirely comforting. While I understand that hanging bridges can have an element of thrill, this seemed to veer into discomfort and unease. The creaking and swaying of the bridge were disconcerting, and some parts of the walkway showed signs of wear and tear. It's essential for both visitors and local authorities to take safety seriously to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

If you are riding a tricycle, you'll pay 20 pesos for the parking fee. There will be children around who will be asking to take your pictures and you'll to give them some amount. There are also a lot of children who'll dive and find the coins you'll drop.
The hanging bridge was a great sight to see but if you're afraid of heights, you better think twice. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and even for a short time, we enjoyed strolling at the bridge.

Was pretty busy on a Saturday, scenery is nice enough.. worth a look if you have a spare hour or so, Parking will set you back 30p.
Daniel Hearnden — Google review
The state of dilapidation of the bridge adds to the sense of adventure! The area is where the fresh river water meets the salty sea water. This brackish water results in overgrowth of marshes which adds so much color to the scenery. Guides are available in the area who are seasoned in taking fantastic photos for tourists. It’s worth getting one.

This hanging bridge is a great place to conquer your fears. This hanging bridge provides a thrilling feel as you walk across. For people with motiom sickness, you could feel dizzy since this bridge feels like being swayed by the wind. The waves of the river makes you feel like the bridge is being pulled towards one side. The locals are friendly and some kids are willing to take photos for you. There are souvenir shops on both sides of the place. Donations for the maintenance of the bridge are appreciated. Also, prepare 20 pesos for the pay parking.

The Museo de Baler is a cultural center that displays various artifacts, paintings, memorabilia and ethnic exhibits of the region. It is recommended to be visited when in Baler as it boasts of cleanliness and air conditioning. Despite its beauty, some people are hesitant to enter due to the expensive entrance fee of 100 pesos. However, this should not discourage potential visitors as there are amazing things inside such as the People Park which showcases an array of interesting items.
You Must visit this museum when you went to Baler, very clean and air conditioned. Only thing I noticed many people just taking photos in front of the museum and don’t want to enter inside maybe because of the 100 pesos entrance fee. I think it’s a bit pricey. They should considered the more people can come in, more money they could get. Just my own thought.

Stepping into the museum was like stepping into a time portal, an immersive journey that unfolded the tales of Baler and its role in Philippine history. The museum offers an intimate look into the life and legacy of Commonwealth President Manuel L. Quezon, shedding light on his contributions to the nation. But what truly fascinated me was the revelation that Baler was the last Spanish stronghold before Filipinos bravely ushered them out and back to Spain. This piece of history casts Baler in a new light, a place that played a significant role in shaping the country's path to independence.
The entrance fee of 100 pesos per head might give you pause. Initially, I shared the sentiment. However, as I delved into the exhibits and immersed myself in the stories, I realized that this fee is a small investment for the wealth of insights and knowledge you'll gain. Plus, here's the icing on the cake: the admission ticket also grants you access to Maria Aurora's house which is just a block away. It's an added bonus that sweetens the deal and makes the fee more reasonable.
Located just north of Sabang Beach and a short walk from Baler town, Charlie's Point Ocean Wave Resort is famous for being the beach featured in the film Apocalypse Now. The resort offers medium-quality waves suitable for surfers of all levels, breaking both right and left on a sand and gravel bottom. While the people there were pretty nice, this place is very disappointing. Location is beachfront with plenty of parking available, but beware there is a drinking place right beside it with very loud music until 2 am, maybe even later. The walls of the room were not thick enough to muffle the sounds. Bathrooms are also tiny with the shower almost on top of the toilet with no seat cover for the toilet bowl.
But what really disappointed us was the pricing. They overcharge on Airbnb. Minus website fees, we were charged 24% higher than the actual room rate, which we found out upon check-in. Plus, we booked two rooms. Upon booking, one room was 500 pesos more expensive. Upon check-in though, we were given two exact same rooms.
Honestly, you're better off staying at the place next door, way nicer and price is not that much higher.

The place is small. We rented the family room and it can easily accommodate 6 adults for 3,500php. It has a living room with table and chairs, and plates, glasses, utensils. It also has a tv but it only have 2 working channels: abscbn and tv5. The bedroom has 2 double-deck beds. The lower deck is bigger and can accommodate 3 adults if u want. The cr has a shower with hot and cold options. They have a water dispenser but the hot water dispenser doesn't work. We found out that all the hot water dispenser in all the rooms doesn't work because the owner is selling coffee and they want u to buy there. Their swimming pool is small, like 5 people can only fit in there and swim comfortably. But, the place is in front of the beach so that's a plus! The beach is clean and if you want a white sand beach, this is not the place. The sand here is black. In the afternoon there are locals that teach u to surf but i don't know for how much. This is only good for a one-night stay and i can't say we'll be going back here. The place is not well-maintained.

However, do not be misled by the ads, the swimming pool on the property doesnt work; atleast during the time that we were there. No potable water, so you have to bring your own bottled water. No water heater or place to cook or buy foods within the property, but as I said the town center is just a ride away, if you dont mind additional cost and time for travel.
The Doña Aurora Aragon-Quezon House is a modest yet well-preserved historical landmark that offers a glimpse into early Philippine culture. Owned by the family of former First Lady Aurora Quezon, the house features books, photographs, paintings and memorabilia from that era. Although there may not be much to see in terms of attractions, it is still worth visiting this replica house for its educational value and to experience the old-world look and vibe.
Very small venue will cost you 100p to have a look but its worth it if you have a half hour spare and its close to Quezon park and Museo de Baler.
Daniel Hearnden — Google review
Step through time when you visit this place. It is quite historical and shows the early Philippine culture, especially on how we live by during those years. The house and the items inside are well preserved and will definitely stand out for a long time. Good for kids to drop by as it is also educational.

The entire thing is a replica. What's left of the original is the lot where the replica house is standing. The pass is included in the environmental fee of 100 from the lgu. So might as well visit it.

Nothing much to see but nice to step into historical houses like this to see how they live back then. The house is preserved well, so the old look and vibe is there.

Diguisit Falls is a stunning multi-layered waterfall located near the main road to Diguisit Beach and rock formations, directly facing the Pacific Ocean. It features mini falls beside the road and steep falls along the highway. Visitors are advised to apply mosquito repellent before heading up the falls and to be cautious when climbing on rocks. The area is known for its beauty and offers a refreshing swimming experience, making it a nice place to visit for those seeking relaxation and adventure.
Beautiful! Refreshing to swim here, just be extra careful.
Ron Claridad — Google review
Surely you will never miss seeing this natural landmark, being clearly visible from the road. It is located just opposite of Diguisit beach, between the famous Dimadimalangat Rock formations and Aniao islets.
Lacking any established trail, we just followed the path of those who already climbed ahead. The trail is rocky, and we’re thankful that we arrived on dry weather, for surely it will be slippery and wet during rainy days.
The water comes from the Diguisit River at the mountain tops, and as expected, the waters are so cold.
The falls actually have other tiers upstream, but the imposed ban on climbing further up, we were unable to see it. Unlike other falls, the Diguisit Falls continue to flow even on harsh dry months, making it an ideal swimming destination, especially during summer.
The site lacks any comfort rooms or dressing rooms, you need to go to a nearby beach resort just to take a shower.

Very nice and relaxing. Be careful on the rocks if you try to climb to the top.

One of the few beaches in baler that have a astounding rock formations. Definitely in awe of these formations of rocks along the coastline of degusit beach.

Super windy but soothing to relax you. Mostly clean and in order. Waves during the afternoon are usually huge especially around 4 pm depending on the tide and weather. Sand is not really sand but like almost finely crushed corals so better have wet shoes or sandals. Rocks and corals are also aroudn the area. Empty beautiful seashells are also abundant.

Diguisit Beach is a calm and quiet beach in baler. because of its located on the dead end of the road, there are no outside people other than who is coming to this specific location. there are few sea side resorts for the stay and recreation. a calm quiet rocky beach with a beautiful waterfall nearby.

Viewing these amazing rock formations makes one wonder what happened millions of years ago to form these cliffs and crawling rocks. They are awe-inspiring at close range but appear less astounding in the photos.

This destination has become increasingly popular among surf enthusiasts due to its favorable conditions. A nice natural formation of rocks. There are some resorts in the area which offer different services
Sabang, a locality situated on the coast of Baler, is renowned for its shoreline that attracts surfers due to the powerful waves from Baler Bay. The area has a raised walkway with comfortable cafes and restaurants that cater to joggers and diners alike. Additionally, it is home to events such as the celebrated Aurora Surf Competition that draws spectators from all over. As for nightlife, beachfront bars offer happy hour specials while open mike sessions continue until daybreak.
Nestled in the town of San Luis, Caunayan Falls is a popular waterfall that cascades from a cliff into a clear stream. The surrounding area offers a tranquil and refreshing atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. Visitors can take a dip in the cold, fresh waters and enjoy the serene ambiance created by the sound of running water and birdsong. Accessible via Google Maps or Waze, this hidden gem provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
It is a great place to go and hang out. Get a covered picnic area to stay cool as it does get hot. The falls are nice and relaxing and a great photo area. I will diffently be back as I plan to move here.

Place is so clean. Water is sooo clear and cold.
You will need to walk/trek for 5 minutes only from the parking.
You will also need to pay twice.
If added, you will need to pay around PHP 55-60 (cannot remember the exact price) per person.
We did not avail a cottage since we will only stay for an hour. But I heard it’s a bit pricey also.
The falls itself if just small, and I think the current of the water varies per day.
But still so good! 🤍
Elaine Ordoñez — Google review
I love nature that's why my rating is excellent. the water is cold, the whole surroundings is also cold and you can have very fresh water caressing your whole body why dipping yourself in the falls. the trek is not so distant and you can definitely spend some romantic moments in the place in the newly built cottages beside the falls. the music coming from the running water mixed with the humming and tweeting of birds really brings you to the wisdom of the divine. really amazing!
Tomas Oandasan — Google review
If you’re looking for waterfalls near Baler that is relatively easy to access, Caunayan Falls is the way to go. There isn’t much signage going in but following Google Maps/Waze should lead you there perfectly fine. It is situated inside a resort so there are a couple of fees to enter, one for an environmental fee and one for entrance fee. There is an option to get a cabana as well (in the second payment area) but we didn’t get one since we were only there for a quick time. There is no place to put your belongings otherwise so if you plan to spend time there I’d recommend to get a cabana.
The falls itself was really clear and cold, it felt so magical. The area has quite a bit of rocks so do take caution, especially some slippery ones. It was much more crowded than I expected for a weekday, there were no cabanas available and I did have to wait to take a photo under the waterfall. Other than that, I loved my time here and would love to go back!

I love this place! the water is so cold you can even soak your beverages for instant cold drink 😊
Approximately 4 to 5 hours away from Manila, I love Aurora even if the travel is challenging because of up hills, but you will get to enjoy the scenery. Caunayan falls was one of my favourite falls. You feel like you are one with nature, so calming, refreshing, and definitely relaxing! Include this to your travel list and you wont regret it 🤚🫶

Caunayan Falls in Baler, Aurora is a hidden gem tucked away amidst lush tropical surroundings. With its cascading waters and serene atmosphere, it offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The natural pool at the base of the falls invites visitors to take a dip in its crystal-clear waters, creating a soothing and rejuvenating experience. Exploring the picturesque trails leading to Caunayan Falls is a journey worth taking, as it showcases the beauty of nature in all its glory.
Diomel Eusebio — Google review
The place is far from main road and the road is not cemented so be ready for a bumpy ride.
At first, we paid PHP20 for the said entrance fee, then after a few minutes of drive we were asked again to pay for entrance fee again (PHP20). And then at the main waterfall area, we paid again entrance fee (Per person) and you can also rent a cottage if you want.
The place is good. The water is fresh and cold and the place can be crowded at times especially at peak summer season. Also be aware of your belongings for one of my friend's wallet was lost here.
Swimming pools are also available near the entrance. Their restrooms are bad. They do not have water running in the faucet and it has no locks, i guarded my girlfriend's restroom when she was using it so that others won't used it.
There are also souvenir shops nearby if you want to buy some pasalubong.
Overall, this place is for just experiencing the falls.
For me, it would b better if y find a hotel with good amenities then just visit this place for a half day.
Aniao Islet, located near the shores of Diguisit Bay, is a collection of magnificent rock formations that offer breathtaking views and photo opportunities. Visitors can hop from one rock formation to another and take in the tranquil atmosphere while enjoying the coastal breeze. The area also features a white beach and a nearby resort for those looking to relax and unwind.
A place to visit when in Baler. The view differs defending on the tides.

The place is good. The signage is just beside the road at the heart of the the town. There are comfort room around, stores, and the people are nice. There are photographer/guide around that will approach you if you do not have your own tripod, he will assist you and he can take good shot using your phone features(I just edited the color contrast). We just gave a tip for his service. Seafoods are costly for our budget, raging 500-1000. If you go there, take your time to roam along this town. Because of our excitement to go at the beach, we didn't get the chance to go to every tourist attraction they have in this town. For our next visit, we might stay overnight if our moto-camping essentials are complete.

Bay's Inn is a low-key hotel located by the beach that offers a complimentary breakfast and boasts of a casual bar/restaurant with sea views. The accommodation is generally clean and comfortable, while the infinity pool provides fantastic views. Prices are reasonable, and pets are allowed on-site. The restaurant serves good quality food at affordable prices, although some guests have commented that the coffee was disappointing. However, there is an excellent selection for breakfast buffet, and most staff provide friendly service to guests.
The rooms are nice and clean but the overall interior of the hotel could use some updating. The food at their restaurant is decent. The breakfast is not buffet but plated style. Location is great because it is near everything. There is no elevator but the hotel is just 3 floors anyway. The hotel is pet friendly too, there is just a minimal pet fee to pay when you check in.

I don't recommend this place. We stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms are dirty as hairs can be seen on the floor upon entering our booked rooms. Borrowed their cleaning materials and it was yucky! Very dirty soft broom. Staff are not friendly at all especially the reception Staff. Buffet has limited options and we even call the Staff for refills.
Expensive hotel for very very cheap and poor service. The elevator is not accessible to everyone, no service phone, no help from the staff in carrying the luggages, etc. We'll never go back here again.

For a new hotel, I’d say it doesn’t look like one. It needs better walls, flooring quality. However, the customized, cute elevator, swimming pool, hang out area and restaurant are all great! My favorite is our big room (premium with 2 single beds). Comfy bed, with tv (best if they switch to smart tvs), small security vault, bar refrigerator, spacious bathroom with high water pressure and heater, and very stable internet connection in our room! Food is tasty and sumptuous for a la carte options (we got for 2 weekdays). I especially like all the staff here, they are very nice and seem to always look out for their guests if they need anything. I really liked that they accommodated my request for a room change at the last minute as we do not need a room for more people anymore. I will definitely recommend staying here and I will surely go back!

The place was awful, first the hot shower did not work you had to call the maintenance everytime you wanted to.shower so they could switch the circuit breaker for the heater to work. Fresh towels were not provided everyday. Floors were sticky. Duvet was stained, pillows were flat like pancakes.
The breakfast buffet was blehhh, you had to call the attendants everytime to refill the serving trays. The selection was limited.
The couches around the pool area were nasty and stained. Hallways are not well lit, stairs leading to the second floor from the dining hall was always wet, its a disaster waiting to happen.
would not go back, will not recommend this hole.

Let's be honest here. This is a classic example of how we normalize mediocrity and package it as a 5-star experience. Paid P3900 for a room barely above 10m², which wasn't even ready by 2pm as per their check-in policy - so we walked around until 330pm. On the way to the room, lots of empty Red Horse & San Mig bottles laying around the hallway. Got in the room, saw how small it was, then went down to check the pool. They just need to shut this place down and renovate using quality materials. Plywood boards are coming off, nails and screws are leaving rust-trails, paint badly need to retouched. At least we have a working wall-type aircon and a decent bathroom. The pressure of the bidet is strong enough to wash my car.
This room shouldnt be sold for more than 2K per night and thats being generous. I don't know what to say about the service staff because, well, there isn't any. Just the people at reception and the resto staff. Nobody at the pool. Didn't eat at the resto, but I did communicate with the guy showing me where the parkinglot is. Didn't feel welcome at all so forking over money at reception was met with reciprocated feelings.
Hotels in the Philippines are expensive compared to other places in South East Asia. Higher cost usually means better quality, but not here. For the locals, this is a wonderful experience (see the reviews) but if you've traveled to nice places around the world, this is shockingly bad.
Not going to waste my energy to upload any pics. You can check it out for yourself. In fact, pay a little more and stay next door, looks so much better.

Stayed here for 2 nights, had some problems with the room and the management but everything went well and good. The beach front view was heaven, it wasn't that clean though. Maybe need some cleaning from the locals. The best thing we had here was their breakfast! One of the best breakfast I ever had while we were traveling in some parts of Luzon.
Had a fun experience checking out some places also especially our former President's monument, Manuel L. Quezon.
