The Marco Polo Lingnan Tiandi hotel in Foshan offers contemporary accommodations including rooms and apartments. The establishment features a gym, pool, chic cafe and two bars on its premises. The rooms are spacious and modern with convenient downtown location. Guests have praised the attentive staff and great pricing of the hotel which is clean and new. There is also an amazing buffet available for dining options within the hotel's premises.
An excellent location - within short walking distance from important local attractions like Zumiao 祖庙 (including the Huang Fei Hong Museum) and Lingnan Tiandi 岭南天地, where we can get some very good food.
The service is excellent - prompt and helpful. The service personnel were polite and could converse well in Mandarin and Cantonese, and English.
Overall is very comfortable. We had the connecting rooms that added more convenience. Like the “Merchant of Venice” toiletries, too 😉
The only area for improvement in this stay is the wifi connection for the TV - not quite stable. Similarly, the connection to the devices.

A very well-maintained 400-year-old Lingnan garden with beautiful grounds. The garden is very well designed, with fish ponds, waterways, and covered corridors connecting all the various main halls. You can sit down and enjoy different views of the garden. There are lots of old, beautiful fruit trees. It's a joy to visit, and I love their colorful stained glass the most. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful place.
I was amazed at the fact that it was built by a scholar family in Qing Dynasty. It showed the brilliance for architecture design in ancient Chinese people.
The garden is currently open for public as a museum, which shows history of the scholar families who were residing there for hundred years. You may also learn some Chinese art and culture, such as calligraphy writing, especially from famous artist QiBaiShi.
You should visit there once you arrive at Foshan, Guangdong.

Cost to public visitors is ¥25 each, very interesting time traveling village, you can walk on the original bricks footpath, buy clay and porcelain souvenirs in the hundreds years old little houses, outside the house, you can see the hundreds years old trees' roots have become part of the walls. The most fascinating scene, is the kilns are still well maintained and in good working conditions, because I saw 2 workers there, and smoke rising from the old brick chimney, WOW!

Wide variety of custome made furniture on the left of the building is the high end brands that compete with even nattuzi and minnotti with a huge collection of modern furniture high end
On the right side u have the more extreme freindly budget and low budget standard custom made furniture
So it depends on your taste and budget
But in all cases if you want to visit this mall and do some actual shopping you will.need a min 2_3 days fully dedicated to it from opening till closing of the BOC
Enjoy 😉
masarra alameri — Google review
The mall has many nice shops, but mostly the designs are local and the quality is also similar to what you see online.. but for 5X-20X the price. A marble table for instance, averages around 5K USD.
Worth going to see, but after seeing the 20th shop everything starts to look the same. This mall is significantly different from Guangzhou Louvre, which boost more internationally known brands.
Most of the shops you see in Foshan Louvre is probably not familiar to anyone.

It's marvellous tourist attraction and religious ceremonial place. It is well developed and very carefully maintained. On the mountain roads are very wide and safe. Almost 500 paved stairs are built to climb the tomb where a huge stone statue of Buddha is sitting on stone lotus. Stone and wood carving can be witnesses every where, on the walls, stairs, museum, roofs and pillars. Tickets are available on the foot steps on the hill. Restaurants are available at the resort. It's worth place to visit.

I planned to go there for a whole day. Caught a metro from guangzhou, then the bus. Count 2 hours to arrive at the north entrance.
Once there, you can choose to climb the mountain with a little train, or by feet. I recommend going on your own, as there are many things to see !
Take a guidebook at the entrance for free, so you can visit all the things there are to see. (some of them are almost hidden !)
The Buddha statue is unbelievable, truly beautiful. And you could walk in the mountain for almost two days before seeing everything.
My only regret was to be too late in the year to see the peach garden flourished.

- Rooms I found spacious and clean.
- Service was decent, I had a number of minor (but could be annoying) problems as a foreigner who also Taobao items to the hotel, and they were quite patient providing me with support.
- location was good for me, you can literally walk across the street to a mall and grab food if you need it.

A hotel with quite spacious room, with several USB charging socket in each room, all you need is to bring a charging cable. The beds are moderately firm and supportive. Sound proofing between rooms are quite good. Hot waters for shower came almost at an instance. Iron and iron board is available in the room without the need of further request. View from the room depends on which side you were in, one side was dull and dark, while the other side overlooks the shopping arcades 'square. The weakest link must be the catering department, 5he dinner buffet is mediocre at best, beverages was not replenish in time and it might take 10 minutes once the tea are out. Food were overcooked and taste flat. If not for the better breakfast buffet the next morning, I would say the catering of this place is a mess.

Fun museum to visit if you are a Kung Fu fan. However, the best reason to visit is to see the Lion Dance.
The Kung Fu demonstration is average, but the Lion Dance is the best one I've seen. I've seen the ones in New York, San Francisco, Hong Kong, and this is the best one. Bench seating fills up fast so you may want to go there early.
The stage is square; however, the show is geared towards one elevation. For the best view, the stilts should be on your left and the staggered blocks / stage should be on your right. Sit on the first two rows so that you can pet the dragon as he comes by.
Overall, a pleasant surprise and fun evening.
