Playas de Vera is a coastal town located in the province of Almeria, Spain. It is known for its beautiful and pristine beaches that are perfect for swimming and sunbathing. The area has become popular among tourists due to its warm Mediterranean climate and stunning landscape. Visitors can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and water sports. There are also plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops to explore in the charming town center.
The Plaza de toros de Vera is a bullring that offers visitors an opportunity to learn about the historical roots of bullfighting. While animals are killed during the evening, locals view it as a cultural event and chance to socialize. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged. The museum, gift shop, actual bullring and areas where bulls are kept prior to release into the ring make for an interesting visit. Visitors can also expect volunteers to guide them through their tour.
Interesting. Small and beautiful. Free to enter. Sad to see the bull cages...

Popped in and an old guy showed us around which was nice
Was keen for us to go in his little make shift shop to buy something which we didn't but gave him a tip for the tour

Interesting place to visit. There is a spanish man who will offer to show you around and offer items for sale that he has made.

We were able to walk around the museum, see where the bulls would have been held and released into the ring. They were painting the front gates when we first arrived so had to come back a little later. Normally open from 11am to 2pm.

There is a museum inside and the old gentleman there will passionately explain the history to you. If you happen to pass by and have time it’s nice to make a stop.

We were at the show and we liked it. It is necessary to focus more on the historical roots of the bullfighting than on the fact that animals are killed during the evening. It was obvious that for the locals it was a cultural event and an opportunity to meet. Once in a lifetime, it pays to visit the show.

Well worth the visit!!! Free entry with a lovely on site caretaker eager to show you around and help capture the atmosphere. Access to ALL areas including the ring itself (allowed to roam freely). Great memories made. Tips are a must!

Free to enter but they expect a donation. Volunteers take you round to see their museum, gift shop, the actual bullring and the places where the bulls are kept prior to release into the ring. It's very interesting and worth the visit. We gave the man €5 which he seemed happy with
AquaVera Parque Acuático is a well-organized and clean water park with a variety of rides. Despite the reasonable prices for food, there are some additional charges, such as for beds. The staff is helpful in resolving any issues that may arise with online bookings or vouchers. Visitors can enjoy short queues for the rides and plan to return for another visit.
We went to this water park, which is about an hour's drive from San Jose. My partner's son has learning disabilities and is also autistic, he likes paddling in water.
We arrived to find at least 5 disabled car park spaces, clearly sign posted. There was no queue to get in when we arrived. We walked from the ticket office and there were changing rooms and toilets just before you entered the main area of the park.
We were given a map showing what sections were suitable for people with disabilities. It has 3 pools that anyone with a disability can go into on lower ground. All walking areas are flat ground suitable for a wheelchair and prams further up in the park are the water slides. Which is crowded by lots of children and teenagers. We went on the first day of the summer holiday and it was busy. I can only imagine what it is going to be like in July and August.
You can hire a single donut inflatable for €8 double donut €10 , €12 for a triple donut. I think you can hire a mat, maybe to use on the slide, €7. There is a place you can buy food from, not sure about the prices, but the food looked okay. I saw a few youngsters eating their own food they brought with them.
I paid €6.90 for 2 sun loungers, they tie a blue band around them once you pay and give you a receipt, which you need to keep.
We paid £61.00 for 3 of us, we had a 33% disability discount for my partner's son.
It's very clean and they have lots of life guards who are attentive. In one of the pools staff were doing aqua Zumba. You can spend all day there and the children play. There are a couple if not more gift shops where you can buy bracelets and items for the pool.
Definitely worth a visit for adults and children. Adults can also go the slides.
Some of my images had people in, have taken them out if the area looks deserted it wasn't.

Decent water park with plenty of rides. And the queues weren’t long at all. Food reasonably priced too. Will defo be going back.

Good day out would recommend but they put vouchers on my car for resident then said I lived in wrong area and charged me full price when I have a pensionister card but the park is clean and very well organised.

We spent over 6 hours here, and had great fun. Plenty of slides, and the pools were fun too.
The lockers are really useful, and we found it helpful to hire chairs too.
We didn’t bother hiring a triple ring, and rarely had to queue for more than a few mins for one.
The ground can get VERY hot so take care of little ones.
All very clean and well run.

Great day, had a small issue at the gate with an online booking but the staff were brilliant and sorted it out. Don't think there should be a charge for the beds but it is what it is
Bluemooner — Google review
The price is 25€ if you pay by the gate and 12, 50€ if you pay online.
The gate man was friendly but there are some hidden costs if you go inside.
We have to pay extra for a inflatable ring to go on water slide. 7 euro per a double one and 9 euro for triple one. 5 euro deposit.
You have to pay for lookers as well.
I been to get some doughnut and them are 2.50€ for few little doughnuts.
Good fun for kids, and adults but for half a day not more.

Very nice waterpark. Clean safe and nice staff. I would give it 4 stars but the price is too expensive... we paid 64 eur to get in (2 adults, 2 juniors). Then you have to rent garderobe (2 eur), beds (4 eur per bed) anf eat and drink there. So 100 eur for 1 day is pretty expensive I guess... but we enjoyed anyway! If u like it you can come back the second time for half the price.

Disappointing experience. You can’t book disabled tickets online so you have to stand in the “on the day ticket purchase” queue which was huge, despite arriving 40 minutes before the park opened. It would have been much easier if these could have been purchased online (with evidence being shown on the day) so we could have joined the much shorter “online tickets collection” queue which was fully under the shade. When we arrived at the box office we bought two regular tickets and a disabled one but were given no disabled access information so totally left to our own devices and having to hope for the best! Within minutes of getting our sun beds we were asked to pay for their use for the day. This was no problem as we knew to expect this. HOWEVER surrounding us were 3 Spanish families who were using 14 beds between them. None of them paid or had tags on their beds. When asked for payment by the attendant one of the family members just said no we don’t have any money it’s all in the locker. They were not approached again or asked to pay for their chairs. Maybe it’s just the “foreigners” that have to pay to hire out the sunbeds? Due to my disability, and also partly due to the total lack of accessible information for the water park, I stayed by the sunbeds for the majority of the day apart from a few short dips in the pool area although my family said the rides were enjoyable but the queues were very long indeed for each ride.

Great for kids and adults alike. The slides are great, lots of pools to cool down in

Lovely place really clean and everyone really nice and safety to a high standard. Although the photographers at the entrance / exit were very pushy and rude, also didn't release u understand perfect spanish and I don't appreciate their comments. Taking my photo is not your right if I don't wish to have it taken.

Family of four 100-150 Euro a day.
Entry even when bought online is ~80Euro+
Sun lounges ~5Euro
Floats for the rides 10min double rider +5Euro deposit in hope that you rip this one or you forget about it.
Oh buying online is no benefit. As queue literally the same to collect entry ticket.
And could not use voucher left on the cars in the area giving 24€ discount
So financially it is ripoff.
Well you can bring your own food or get of the park to get food from local shops …
But hey—- if this would have been clearly stated on website- I would have chosen differently me entertainment.
