Ky Co Beach, located about 2km away from Quy Nhon city in Vietnam, is a stunning destination accessible by fishing boat or speedboat from Nhon Ly village. The beach boasts impressive cliffs, white sands, and clear blue waters with small sea rocks around. Visitors can immerse themselves in the cool water or relax on the soft sand under the warm sunlight to admire nature's beauty.
I really liked the place. The beach is clean, quite spacious and even when there are many visitors it doesn't feel crowded. The water quality was very good (incredible colour) and nice waves. There are plenty of places to hide in the shade and clean toilets and showers. As this beach attracts many Asian tourists, there are plenty of opportunities to take some cool pictures. Prices in the restaurants were reasonable and the quality was good. We arrived by boat as our visit was part of a package tour. Although we visited on a Saturday, the beach was not crowded. Would come back again

Lovely beach and very peaceful at that moment in time. Very clean sane and sea
There are places to swing and props for photoshoots. It's definitely a photo opportunity.
There's a lot of development in place, preparing for peak season. Not sure how the atmosphere would be if really busy.

I guess it is best beach in Vietnam. Clean beach and ocean, nice sand, waterfall and lake with fresh water, seals show with amazing performers... All required beach infrastructure with entrance price 150k.

Beautiful beach 5 minutes by boat from Tour KY Co Eo Gio. Many photo opportunities and beautiful clean water to swim in. Big restaurant has large menu and of course it a little expensive. Well trained seal performance every couple hours. And NO! The seals are not harmed or tortured in anyway. I asked one of the seals. Well worth a day trip.

Quy Nhon and Ky Co Beach stole a piece of my heart. Don't get me wrong, the journey to get there wasn't exactly luxurious. It involved a bit of a bus ride and then a bumpy car trip, but trust me, it's all worth it when you see that beach. The sand is like powdered sugar, soft and white between your toes, and the water? Crystal clear turquoise that stretches out forever. You can see right down to the bottom, it's incredible.
There's something special about Ky Co. It feels untouched, wild even. Maybe it's because it's a bit off the beaten path, but there weren't tons of tourists around. I spent most of the day just swimming, sunbathing, and soaking up the scenery. There are some local vendors selling snacks and drinks, but other than that, it's pure relaxation.
Now, a heads up for anyone who's not a strong swimmer: the water gets deep pretty quickly. It wasn't a problem for me, but something to keep in mind, especially if you're traveling with little ones. Overall, Ky Co was pure paradise. If you're looking for a beach escape that feels authentic and unspoiled, this is your place.

The beach is beautiful. It is rather hard to go there. 25km from Qui Nhon city. There also the way go by cano. Having a bath is free. We can try the diving service, flying with the hang gliding. Alot of check in point to take photo.

We visited in the beginning of November. We drove by car to the gate. Paid the entrance fee 170 k / per adult, kids did not have to pay (ours were 5 and 6 yo). Then our driver entered and took us to where the shuttles take the tourists to the beach. We were there about 9 or 10 in the morning and there was very little people. Everyone but us were Vietnamese tourists. The shuttle took us to the beach and once we reached there the sealion show was just about to begin. It was a nice show and it is included in the ticket price.
The beach is beautiful! Unfortunately waves were so big it was impossible to swim so we just walked around and enjoyed the view.

Now I am back in Australia I can write a review so that fellow international tourists do not pay ridiculous prices to enter this polluted, stinking, dangerous hell hole that was once a pristine environment. Last time I wrote a negative review when I was living in Vietnam, I was visited by 3 Provincial Police after 9pm at night with the drunk duty manager of the FLC Sea Tower Resort in Quy Nhon. My facebook was subsequently hacked and destroyed - and we know who did it!
**********I strongly suggest you ALL READ the other ONE STAR reviews of this place as the majority of 5 star reviews here are fake! **********
This is a place taken over by greedy corrupt businessmen and government officials, raking in the money and ensuring that only heavily photoshopped nonsense makes it on to the internet. Do not go here. Do not support these scumbags who are ruining every previously gorgeous, untouched area of Vietnam. The old, unregistered, uninsured and oily, smelly jet-skis pollute the water. The parasailing operation has life jackets that look like they've been sewn together by someone's blind grandmother. The parachutes are soaked in sea water and left on the beach to rot, with no safety certifications on them! The parasailing tow rope has been bought from a corner store with rusted attachments. Someone is going to be killed by these idiots, but they do not care, because they are a protected species - mafia, local business people, police and government officials.

My family and I had the pleasure of visiting the charming city of Quy Nhon, where we made the delightful decision to explore the renowned Ký Co Beach. To reach this picturesque destination, we embarked on a ferry boat, which added a touch of adventure to our journey. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the sight of the beach's remarkably pristine sands and the inviting turquoise waters that stretched out before us.
At Ký Co Beach, a variety of water activities awaited us, including exhilarating options such as jetskiing and parasailing, promising an unforgettable experience for visitors seeking thrills. Despite the sweltering heat that discouraged me from taking a refreshing swim, I found solace in observing a captivating seal show that provided entertainment and a glimpse into the marine world.
While the beach primarily caters to water enthusiasts with its array of activities, those seeking a more relaxed experience may find that the options for leisurely pursuits are somewhat limited. Nonetheless, the tranquil beauty of Ký Co Beach and the opportunity to witness nature's wonders firsthand make it a destination worth exploring for travelers seeking a serene coastal retreat.

You never know what you're gonna get in Vietnam but this place is a pleasant surprise. One of the best beaches I've been to in Vietnam. Pristine with good facilities. The water is crystal clear turquoise. The sand is white and the waves are stunning. The staff take great care of making sure the beach is free from plastic. This is one of the least polluted beaches I've been to in Vietnam. It can only be reached via boat or the shuttle from inside the park. No nosy traders/ people that bother you. The beach doesn't smell of gas from boats like many other beaches.
The Entrance fee at the gate is 120k VND and 40K for a shuttle to the beach (July 2023). From the gate we drove about 3km to the point where the shuttle transfers you to the beach. Along the way there is a beautiful view of the fishing village. The wind is quite strong at the top so be careful with your hat. The shuttle to and from the beach is comfortable. The facilities at the beach are plentiful. There are many beach chairs and canopies that you can rent @ 300k for the day. Beer goes for 25-30k, some finger snacks for 25k. The restaurant caters for tour groups, but there is a seafood restaurant in the resort right on the beach. The bathroom is really clean and they have many places to shower off sand. I would recommend coming here in the afternoon when the tour groups are less or during weekdays. The sun is hot so remember sunscreen. The wind picks up more in the afternoon so there can be some sandblasting. Here you can go for a walk along the cliff with beautiful views of the clear water down below. There are many cool spots for taking photographs. Swimming and playing in the waves here was the best part of the day. The ocean here is so stunning, just a little paradise.
Note: Little kids might find this beach scary as the waves can get big and the wind can be strong.

Ky Co is a fantastic spot to visit in Quy Nhon, compared to Eo Gio and Hon Kho. All these scenic points are quite overcrowded and packed with tourists. However, I recommend you visit Ky Co in the early morning or in the week days to avoid the crowd. The water in Ky Co is crystal transparent and she can cool you down in summer heat!
They also offer free shows with funny and cute seals at different time during the day. Very attractive to kids.
Eo Gio, also known as Cua Gio or the Windy Gate, is nestled within a vast mountain range. Prior to being discovered by tourists, this destination was considered remote and hazardous. Its name reflects its unique position, situated between two rocky peaks and exposed to strong winds, making it an exceptionally breezy location.
Banh It Cham Temple (Yang M'Tian) is a historical red-brick temple situated on a hillside, surrounded by rice fields and developing buildings, offering picturesque views of the mountains. Núi Vũng Chua, also known as Vung Chua Mountain, is a popular destination in Quy Nhon. Despite being more of a hill than a mountain, it offers stunning panoramic views of the coastal city and its natural surroundings from its peak, which sits at an elevation of about 600 meters above sea level. Visitors can enjoy the fresh air and escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

A nice place to go walking. The path is basically an old road where automatic motorbikes are forbidden. You might encounter a few manual motorbikes, but very few. Many people come here in the early morning and late afternoon for hiking. On the downsides I would say that there is almost no view from the top of the mountain, because the access to the summit is forbidden (public facility there).

Approx 3 km and 400 meters of elevation to reach the top. Some portions are very steep..once you get to the top, walk past the radar station and turn right into a very small narrow dirt path. You'll be able to sit on 2 large boulders to take an unblocked view of QN. No shops at the top and grab does not come fetch you from the top. Plan 40 minutes for descent. Grab is available at the bottom of the mountain, before the pumbaa coffeehouse.

Located in Vietnam, the Linh Phong-Ong Nui Temple boasts an enormous Buddha statue atop a pagoda that can be reached after climbing 600 steps. The stunning views of the sea and distant hills at the top make it a must-see attraction in Vietnam. Despite being far from the city, visitors are encouraged to pace themselves and take advantage of rest stops along the way. Once you reach the summit, refreshments are available as you admire the tranquil monolith structure amidst breathtaking scenery.
Big White Buddha that you can see from kms away. We had heard from the Buddha but we’re heading to the beach when we saw it from far away, and decided to go have a look! Great activity, make sure to go when blue skies are out and bring water ready for the 600 steps. Very easy climb as it’s just straight.
Plenty of opportunities to buy water at the bottom and during the climb. Feels very new built and was absolutely pristine and clean.
Great thing is it’s FREE 👍 only thing we paid for was parking once we drove inside the gates that was 10k. Make sure not to get scammed by the people outside the gate offering parking 👍 Afternoon well spent!

Very interesting place. The ride from Quy Nhon city to this temple is very beautiful too as you got to see the sand dune and wind turbine farm.
When you arrive, it’s 10,000vnd for motorbike parking and you can take the stairs up to see the giant buddha. It wouldn’t take long, probably around 20 minutes each way. The view is breath taking so I highly recommend climbing the stairs. If you don’t want to climb up the stairs, you can ask local to take you up on a motorbike for 40,000vnd
Make sure to buy something from the street vendors as they work hard but earn minimal income. A bottle of water, sugar cane juice or fresh coconut only costs 10,000vnd. We will be back again

Cu Lao Hon Kho is a beautiful destination near Quy Nhon known for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs. It's a pristine island with clean and transparent sea, offering activities like canoe surfing and floating on buoys at reasonable prices. The journey to the island involves a short car ride followed by a boat trip, allowing visitors to experience the untouched beauty of the place.
The sea here is extremely clean and clear. Canoeing from the shore to the island pretty close, when we go is 200k / a boat to go both, we go 4 people do not know whether people are counting people or a boat 200k. Food should be ordered in advance because people cook on the shore and bring it to you. Here can experience canoe surfing and buoy float quite fun, reasonable price, banana float 50 / canoe and 150k / cano. Besides you can see the coral at a cheap price 10 or 20 / something people do not remember much, many corals and very beautiful. At the end to bathe fresh water, I am quite satisfied that people here have prepared detergent, shampoo and shower gel.

Thiên Hưng Pagoda is located in An Nhon town, Binh Dinh province, about 20km from Quy Nhon city. The pagoda is a famous spiritual tourist destination in Bình Định, attracting many visitors by its ancient and peaceful beauty.
I had the opportunity to visit Thiên Hưng Pagoda on a trip to Bình Định last year. The first impression of me when coming to the pagoda is the feeling of peace and tranquility. The pagoda is located in a quiet space, surrounded by green trees. The architecture of the pagoda is a harmonious combination of traditional Vietnamese and Chinese styles. The main hall of the pagoda is spacious and airy, with many statues of Buddha and Bodhisattvas. In the courtyard of the pagoda, there are many beautiful gardens and bonsai trees.
I was very impressed by the solemnity and purity of the pagoda. The monks and nuns here are very friendly and welcoming. I spent a whole day visiting the pagoda, praying for peace and good health for my family. I also took the opportunity to learn more about Buddhism and the history of the pagoda.
If you are looking for a spiritual destination to visit in Bình Định, I highly recommend Thiên Hưng Pagoda. This is a place where you can find peace and tranquility, and learn more about Buddhism.

The temple seems to have been renovated in the last few years and I guess a huge amount of money and effort had gone into it.
There’s a lot of nice spots to see, the lotus pond in front, the temple itself has impressive artwork and the pagoda has some interesting sculptures in front of it.
There are a good few people begging, but they were very nice. We sat down with some of them and they brought us some ginger drink and asked for just 10,000, which isn’t a lot. They were also interested in chatting and there’s one man who has some physical disabilities that was very sweet and speaks a little English.
The main reason the experience wasn’t great was that I was pretty shocked by the treatment of one of the female novice monks by one of the older male monks. For some reason he was unhappy with her. He pushed her by her back to lead her away from the main temple, and when he thought he was out of sight, he smacked her full-force on the back of the head.

No one helped us with our bags upon check in. They really want you to spend your money there as you can't bring in snacks or water, if you do it's 5,000,000 dong fee. After 1 night we decided to leave and booked another hotel in the city forfeiting the rest of the hotel cost.

We spent one night at the FLC resort after our Vietage train trip. I chose this resort because they had 4 bedroom villas that could accommodate my family of 8 under one roof with reasonable prices.
The resort feels secluded and it looks like the expansion portion is half done, but we had a good stay! Some parts of the resort is a bit worn, but the villa was beautiful and HUGE. Plenty of room for everyone. The golf course view from the villa had an ocean view as well. We swam and biked. We wish we had time to check out the tennis court too!
The duty manager, Vi, speaks good English and was extremely helpful and accommodating to ensure that our stay was smooth and comfortable. There are many reasons why I rated this hotel 3 stars. First of all, the facility is really poor. I was shocked when I went to the swimming pool and the spa, the swimming pool facility is not maintained and there is only 1 lifeguard there. The spa looks exactly like it had been abandon few years ago. Second of all, the service is very poor. Yesterday, when i need to hung up my wet clothes, the door was too heavy so i called the service to help me but they didn’t. My flight was on 9:15 am, I came to the reception and said book a taxi at 7:30 am to the airport. But they forgot. I probably never gonna return to this resort anymore. The employees are fine, I have no problem with the service. However, the facilities are terrible, they aren't well- maintained, this place doesn't deserved to be a 5-stars hotel at all.
The elevators aren't working properly, they are too far from the receptions. We went on a company trips, thinking we would have been staying near each others, and yet, some of us are arranged in section 1, some are in section 2. As the hallway is too long, and the elevators are too far, it took us so much time just to visit each others' rooms.
The balcony's doors are too heavy, some of them are stuck, there also isn't any hair drier in the room, or any bags for dirty laundry. Poor cleaning service, some rooms were feedbacked as smelly after cleaning. However, the room is spacious, which wasn't that bad.
The hallway lamps weren't lighten up during the night time either.
The buffet food isn't various, but the dessert are great.

I tried to look over many flaws to don’t ruin my vacation.
But… many things to point up.
Just remember it was a high holiday, where most of things must be working properly.
Hotel Luxury is old. It shows very much it’s age. The room smell at first, the windows are heavy, my wife couldn’t open one of them alone. Fan wasn’t working properly, the ax make strange noises.
Not all facilities available. Just few restaurants/lobby/bar open.
Every information outdated. Need keep calling to have information and even front desk don’t have proper information.
First night we had dinner included, that was an rice dinner with no choice of meals, they bring what is available and that’s all.
Second and third day we had buffet lunch. Just a chaos, again misinformed at the first day and the food available was just disappointing. Communication wasn’t fair in anything. They had movies outside, no information about its schedule. Transportation to the safety need to be fairly questioned. Safari is just a simple mini zoo.
Rented a bicycle and broke halfway.
Overpriced drinks.
Overpriced food.
It’s far from the city, so take it in consideration.
But the staff is friendly and hardworking!

Not a five star hotel/ resort.
- No welcome drinks on arrival
- The in room fridge does not work both x2 hotels and x3 villas we have access to.
- Stains on my bed sheets and pillows on arrival.
- Breakfast buffet has very little variety, extremely bland and stale at best.
- Large and fast cockroaches in our room.
- Cannot bring any outside food and/ or drinks in or a 5 million vnd fine will be served.
- We were served warm coconuts
- Air-conditioner has not been maintained with the compressor rusted outside, leaving a nasty odour within the villa and hotels.
- Shower over bathtub. Dangerous when stepping out. Also mouldy.
- I was accused of stealing a large beach umbrella. Even though it didn't rain and it was in the cupboard ... where they keep it !!
- Excellent service from the caddy drivers.

Rooms are surprisingly nice and clean. Facility is a little older but overall quite nice.
Share some insight into the regions history from very early years to recent war.

For just 10,000VND for a ticket, this place quite a lot offer, from the champa era artefact exhibitions to the more modern era of the vietnam war. If you want to spend 1 hour, this is not a bad call

Found ourselves in Quy Nhon on a cool cloudy day not suitable for the so went looking for other things.
This museum is quite interesting and can occupy 90 minutes. Lots of exhibits relating to the American war. The propaganda aspect is certainly apparent but not surprising as Quy Nhon didn't fall until the last day of the war.
The earlier history is also represented with a whole room dedicated to Cham artefacts. Upstairs is a whole room representing Bac Ho's history and relationship with the province of Binh Đinh.
10,000 vnd entry fee.
Not sure if I would have visited if the weather was better but I'm glad that I did nonetheless.

Nice place to spend an hour on a hot day. Lots of fans btw. Interesting content and only 10k. I've been to many museums in Vietnam and this one is pretty decent.

Very beautiful museum of local area showing Cham (Champa) history, history of area and such as. Must see: traditional Cham sculptures, fighting tools from past (such as swords). Beautiful museum and must see if you visit Binh Dinh.

A must visit for history buffs and curious minds. A lot of ancient Cham sculptures, cultural history of the area, war stories and propaganda, together in one museum.

The place provides an overview of the province in terms of its history and cultures. There are many artifacts; however they should be more well-curated and more information should be given on them at the site.
Students get a discount so bring your card! And the guard is very friendly, I could learn something about the objects from him!

Small but worthwhile museum. Includes tribal and cultural items, exhibits from French and American wars, Uncle Ho memorabilia, Cham sculpture and artifacts. The Cham items alone are well worth the admission price of 10,000 dong.
Quy Nhon Cathedral, also known as the sharp top church, is situated in the city center on Tran Hung Dao street. Built in 1938, it features a combination of French and European Gothic architectural styles with a cruciform layout and has a capacity for up to 1,500 people. Despite the local language used during Sunday mass, visitors can still appreciate its beauty and solemnity. The cathedral offers a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful lighting during services.
This is a nice beautiful looking church.

Been here several times already to hear Sunday mass. Unfortunately the language is in their local language but it doesn't stop us from hearing mass. I just have to open my english bible app so that I can read the mass readings & understand the text. Overall the church inside is beautiful, very solemn & it is in the center of the city.

I went to this place on a Saturday afternoon. But it was quite quiet and peaceful. The Quy Nhon Cathedral itself does not really differ from other cathedrals I have ever seen. However, to me, it is a beautiful place.

This project leveled more than 500,000 m2 to build villas, commercial and service buildings, green parks, traffic works, technical infrastructure...
The vast green space of Thi Nai lagoon turned into ponds and lakes and was leveled.
In response to people's protests, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province requested Thi Nai Eco Bay Joint Stock Company to suspend sand pumping activities at the Thi Nai lagoon villa and eco-tourism area project. The province must revoke the decision to lease land to businesses to return the water surface area for people to travel and make a living.
They also adjusted the planning area of resort villa investment projects to decrease to 24.65%.
Adjust the maximum floor height of the villas to 3-5; hotel and office area with a construction length along Vo Nguyen Giap street of 142 m...
But who can guarantee that the investor will comply absolutely and not continue to destroy this difficult-to-find beauty and until when will Thi Nai be as beautiful as before?
