Super nice waterfall. You can take a kayak or SUP from the sea and paddle about 1 km up and walk to the waterfall. It is a small sign on the right side then u have to walk through some water. When u come out on the road take left and walk up the hill and u will see the entrance.

When beach is rough, this place is good to visit. Can come closer to waterfall. It's already chilly while October. Not warm deep inside forest. Swim wear will be recommendable if you wanna dive in.

Just about 20 minutes riding motorbike & 10 minutes trekking. The trekking trail is easy for children & old people too, no need to climb. The water is cool & beautiful; but should visit on a sunny days & avoid rainny days since the surrounding areas are kinda quite.
Leo Nguyen — Google review
15 minute walk from the parking. The path is pretty easy and straight forward. The very last part requires a little climbing and hopping on rocks. Average health or with children should be fine.
It's a pretty cool rock surface to walk on and at the end there is a pool and the waterfall. However in the off season, Jan-feb, there is no water in the waterfall. Still worth a visit.

There was a fountain in Koh Kood. Many tourists came there. It might be Summer and the water was not much. The water from the fountain was cold.

Great waterfall. It's really deep and safe to jump. The rope isn't the best idea, I saw a few guys hurt their balls 😅🥲

I fell while i was climbing up hahaha. Cold clear water and you can even walk up the path to the top of the waterfall, there are so many cool plants around there.

I was there end of October, full stream on waterfall and fresh water. The best memory of Koh KUT. Definitely will go back again...
Dada Phakjirawattanakul — Google review
Best to visit during the rainy season. During winter months the water levels are low and it's worth s visit only if you're on the island for an extended stay. It's an easy walk through the nature trail to the waterfall. Also don't stop at the location shown by Google maps, continue driving straight from this location until you see a proper designated parking lot. The entrance to the waterfall is right next to it.
nidhin pramod — Google review
Beautiful waterfall, need to walk around 10 minutes to get to the waterfall

Beautiful even in dry seasons. Big lagoon with good water temperature. Mostly clean water. Go there and enjoy peacefulness of this magical place

Always fun to take a break during the hot of the day and cool down here. A good jump is possible when the water isn't too low.

Biggest waterfall on Koh Kood, great place to visit during or after the rain season, it’s one of the best attractions to spend few hours refreshing! Enjoy swimming, picnic, relaxing, taking pictures or even exploring down the river!
(Is a 10 minute walk from the parking-entry, where you’ll be ask to make a voluntarily donation to help keep the place safe and clean, any amount is ok the walk is very easy, however the rocks around the waterfall are slippery and must be very careful. during the rainy season the volume of water might be very high and unsafe to swim in some occasions)
R.Q. — Google review
The reviews worried me a bit as my mother is in her late sixties and a lot of the reviews made the path seem treacherous, and yes if it were soaked, it would be slippery but it was a very easy and doable walk to the rocky beach. Rope to swing on, people don't leave their trash. Lovely swim.
Don't expect immaculate free toilets and amenities at a public waterfall on a rustic island maybe 🤷♀️
Kristin Foss — Google review
Very beautiful waterfall however not easy to access as you need to walk through a muddy rocky walk path .Toilets were not clean and had no water !!! If your young and adventurous go and enjoy it , if your 40+ be very careful.
Mark Tonders — Google review
Amazing! We had so much fun here swimming and swinging on the rope swing. It wasn't as busy as other waterfalls we went too and it's our favourite one in Koh Kood now. It's a quick and easy walk from the parking lot.
Meli x — Google review
A waterfall in the middle of Koh Kood, clear water, trees, natural surroundings. Good spot to stop by, swimming and hanging out. There’s a parking, 5-minute walk to waterfall. No shops there
Tullatut Donsunthea — Google review
steady flow of tourists but I was able to find some peace and quiet away from the busier parts when I climbed over some stones cause there was not much water because no rain season
laura — Google review
Extremely busy, busier than you would think. Very easily accessible, by bike or by car. Bit of a long way to walk. So busy that we didn’t stop to swim even though we planned too. Lots of screaming kids. Would be amazing if you visited early in the day
Bang Bao Beach is a picturesque paradise with crystal clear waters and lush greenery. The beach features beautiful palm trees and soft, clean sand. While the swimming quality is excellent, there are some concerns about overdevelopment and increasing tourist numbers leading to higher prices. However, the southern edge of the beach offers a more laid-back atmosphere with shallow waters. Despite being part of a resort, visitors can access the beach without any additional fees.
I love this beach for the the sunset and the morning seawater.. khlong chao maybe the claimed to be the most beautiful beach but I rather prefer this small beach. Renting the kayak here is also cheaper than the one other
oioiy2003 — Google review
I have traveled all over Thailand... this beach is clearly one of the most beautiful! I recommend for snorkeling lovers to go to the very last jetty on the left side 🐠🐡 really a lot of beautiful fish and corals. it's a piece of paradise!

DAVID CARTER — Google review
Looks good, but actually the whole beachfront belongs to hotels. But you are able to get in and stay at the beach. A lot of palm trees give shadow. Posh bar and restaurant. One of the less attractive beaches on this island full of beautiful beaches.
Wolfgang Weickl — Google review
very beautiful beach can recommend to everyone
The beach is in a resort, you are allowed to go to the beach and you don't have to pay anything so don't worry before you buy something to drink or snack. There is only a resort shop here which is very expensive. for your information

Very nice beach and a bit touristy. Still plenty of fish swimming on the beach.

Amazing X-Mas sustainable tree.

We just visit the beach, did not stay in the resort.
Ansgar Trust — Google review
This beach was very beautiful! Waters were crystal clear, and can see quite a few fish. There is a small slide at the end of the pier and there is also a wooden diving board. Please be careful and do not dive head first because the water is actually very shallow.
Daniel Gonzalez — Google review
I only visited the place twice on a day trip. Views were great, staff were friendly, accommodation is ok . Value for money.
Mark Tonders — Google review
Beautiful calm bay on the island of Koh Kood. Unfortunately surrounded by resorts but you can just walk through them to get to the beach.
The tide comes up quite high onto the resort's and there is limited sand beach. There are piers out of most of the resort's into the bay . If you face the sea , the left side of the bay has sand beach even on higher tides 👍.
Lovely bay with fish all over the shallow rock outcrops.
Heidi Schmitz — Google review
Dream like beach. The best beach we experienced yet on ko kood and ko Chang combined. It's perfect for swimming. The water is very clear and scooter parking nearby is for free. We were even astonished about the small amount of people on the beach during the afternoon.
Matthias Schedel — Google review
Most beautiful beach. Accessible by motorbike or if you’re staying at the Siam hotel
Sheena Pearson — Google review
Simply Paradise!
It is approx 200m from the main road. Bungalows are just 10m from the beach... Actually on the beach 😁
At the time I was there, July 3-6,there were barely any guests... Not more than 30 people so that the beach was almost empty and quite and I could only hear waves and birds clearly.
Restaurant is pricey, but expected, in comparison to Bangkok, noodle soup with sea food 120BHT, oysters 220BHT.
No shop in the bay but 15min walking to the shop on the main road.
It was one in the best places I've ever been!
Aleksandar Kovacevic — Google review
One of the best beaches on Koh Kood, you can find there flying fishes, u can also find better places to eat nearby :)
Jakub Pawella — Google review
Swimming quality 5*! Calm clear clean warm water, gets deeper by the pier for a proper swim. Soft sand, clean beach. Sad thing is faint smell of sewage in river behind the dive school, leading to beach by the resort in front. It’s also getting overdeveloped and busier, lots of tourists and prices that go with it. Only more expensive resorts here , exception is Sea &Sand , a 1* accommodation which has a bohemian vibe bar at the southern edge of beach, very shallow waters there.
The road to the falls was scary and steep. You have to be very careful in driving your motorbike. View is, of course, wondrous. If you have a lot of time in Koh Kood, you should definitely visit this site.
JEZ and the Universe — Google review
Would say this is the waterfall on the island least worth visiting. There is a long track road down to it, we walked instead of taking the moped as it was very steep, and then there is a little homestay near the steps down. You can’t swim at this waterfall but it is pretty.
Ramona Singer — Google review
Must todo at this Island. Great natural place. But be prepaired. The journey to this spot is quite dangerous because you have to drive a very unstable road and climb across stones
Anton Stangl (Belephor) — Google review
The waterfall was completely dry (it's the dry season) but still nice lush forest around
Ken Saraf — Google review
This place was actually quite nice. The drive to the falls is gorgeous (possibly dangerous if you’re a novice or reckless scooter driver) and the brief hike down is lovely. No entrance fee and no people when I went (May 2022). Plenty of water and quite refreshing to rinse off in. Careful of the slippery rocks though!
Ryan Chachi Craig — Google review
Was here in the dry season of january so no waterfall to be seen. But if you travel here by motorbike it is defenitely worth it just from the journey itself! It feels like a scene out of the junglebook movie
Daniel Gunnar — Google review
Amazing waterfall (if you come during or afyer rainy season of course. August - December). You have to climb a little bit down. But there is a kind of staircase. If its not too wet this is easy. But it cost a "few" drops of sweat which you can re-fill later at the very nice restaurant upstairs in front of the waterfall. Once at the waterfall you need to climb again if you want to swim in the pond. A good pair of shoes / sneakers is recommended (a little more then just flip-flops).
In the beginning is also a little path to the left from the stairs which brings you to the top of the waterfall. Be careful not to slip there
Sven — Google review
I went in april, the hottest month of the year so almost no water. However, the scenery was spectacular and the drive was definitely worth it. It's really nice nature on the road to there as well. And at the entrance there is a very sweet lady that can make you some food or sell some drinks.
Tom Depr — Google review
Long ride for this waterfall , I would say the date that I came it’s raining season and it have too much water so we could not play or dip in to the water at all.
Make sure that your scooter is ready to take adventure for this trip
Wanunya TH. — Google review
Very nice waterfall. Road is gravel in the last stretch so mind how you go. Great pancake at the homestay after the visit. There s also a hydroponics farm.
Koen Vanhoutte — Google review
The waterfall is beautiful and accessible. You need to follow the local (paper) map since on google the road is not shown. You arrive to some homestay near the entrance to the waterfall. There are nice stairs to descend to the water, however, it is quite difficult to access the water and swim there. Be careful!
Klong Chao beach, located on Koh Kood island, has become a popular tourist hub. It offers a mix of luxurious beachfront resorts and more affordable accommodations within walking distance of small shops, restaurants, and an ATM. The stunning stretch of sand is complemented by a beautiful river that forms a lagoon at one end of the beach and features picturesque palm trees in the middle. Visitors can rent stand-up paddleboards and kayaks to explore the area's natural beauty.
Mainstream beach on the island
Stunning river forms a lagoon at the end of the beach and nice sand bank
The famous laying palm trees twins are in the middle of the beach
Can rent sup and kayak under the bridge at “sup point”
Near the parking on the left, up the hill, a small cafe with nice view point of the beach
Nice sunset views

Way too hot to be catching fishes!!
Water is refreshing to cool off the heat.
Chan Bin Chuan — Google review
We came to Koh Kood specifically to visit Klong Chao beach. What should have been an idyllic setting was totally ruined by plastic and garbage continually washed up on the shore.
There are several employees cleaning the beach but it is a never-ending task.
The water was crystal clear but there were so many floating objects, it took the pleasure away from the moment.
The sand was soft and white but sadly ruined by the garbage.
Very disappointing.
This 500 year old tree is beautiful, a place inside the jungle but easily reachable by scooter!

Definitely a place you should see. Sure it’s just another tree but it’s just another beach another cafe as well and still people go there. Preferences are different as is every single sight even if it feels very similar at first. I think it’s quite impressive.
Please don’t litter like many others do and maybe pick up some of the trash as well. Try to make a change!:)

If your in the area it's worth the bit if a drive to see.
A very peaceful forest which has the 500 plus year old majestic tree.
Take a moment to give thanks, gratitude, take in the silence of the forest as you gaze upon this beautiful tree.

Wonderful experience, you can't miss it! Wonderful, impressive 500 years old tree surrounded by untouched jungle. Getting there is relatively easy driving tour scooter on a very easy untarmacked road. Being close and touching Mayakuk is a strong spiritual experience, inevitably you will think how many things have happened in the history that did not touch Mayakuk, protected by his beautiful jungle.
Many people leave offers to the tree, the beautiful thing is that nobody steals that money. In my country it would last a few seconds before someone took it all. How honest and clean Thai people have, we have a lot to learn from them.
Not far from the tree, a few minutes drive, you will find a wonderful waterfall.
Just go! Don't miss this beautiful experience.
Paolo Marletta — Google review
Beautiful 500 year old tree wraped in capes to keepnthe spirit. Have a close look at the gigantic root network in the ground. Mosquito repellent might be helpfull. Tree is located a hundred meter behind of where the dirt road starts

Google path is wrong. Necessary to take another turn.
We dicided to visit this place without expecting a lot, just on the way to waterfall.
But itbwas 100% worth it, the tree is huge!
As well stepping just a few meters insode of the forest we could feel, that the forest is alive and full of sounds, amazing.

Stumbled upon this by chance, something you normally only see in a National Geographic documentary.
If you on the island don’t pass up an opportunity to take a little scooter ride out to see this magical spot, the tress is truly massive and no photo can actually capture its true size and beauty.
Ao Tapao Beach, located on Koh Kood, is a surprisingly beautiful and developed beach despite its proximity to Nam Leuk Pier. The water is clear and warm with gentle waves, making it perfect for swimming. Visitors can enjoy snorkeling and see many fish under the pier. The beach offers various amenities such as swings, a great jetty for diving, and nearby resorts where one can savor delicious seafood.

We stayed at Seafar resort which is right on the beach. It's a beautiful beach, and very quiet which is surprising. The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming as its not very deep until a long way out. Clean white sand too. The resort is very comfortable and I would definitely recommend it.

One of the quieter beaches on Koh Kood. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s quiet in general at the moment or people don’t really come here.
You won’t really find any seats or beanbags here like you do on the other beaches but there are a few nice big trees to put your towel under.
A couple resorts/beach bars around for drinks.

Went to Ao Tapao Beach with the family today. Short walk from our resort at Koh Kood beach Resort. We spent the day here and ate at Sea Far resort where the seafood was very nice. We didn’t have high expectations about the beach and swimming here as it’s one of the Main piers where the boat transits between the islands. However further From the pier about halfway down the beach is a wonderful swim, near the seafar resort and the smaller pier. The water is clear and warm, gentle waves. The beach and the water look clean. The swim is wonderful as it starts shallow but gets deeper quickly as you approach the end of the pier. Hope that it stays this way & doesn’t get spoiled by over development . There are about 3 or so resorts (perhaps more) with beach bar/restaurants along the beach to relax and have refreshments, some with shaded areas to sit.
MNML journey — Google review
Nice beach for swimming, and the locals seem to prefer it as well. The waters are shallow for a long way out, and there aren't much rocks or similar to watch out for. I visited the beach three times during early and mid afternoon and it wasn't crowded on any of those times.
Harri Rissanen — Google review
Nice clean beach with shallow clear water. Not too crowded. After noon you lose your shade so bring something unless you don’t mind.
Ronnie Staff — Google review
The place is beautiful but neglected. The service of the resort is very nice. The food is delicious . Cold chilled coconuts. Long beach, silence, peace and swings. However, there are also a lot of minuses: no fans in the restaurant to keep the flies away. Very modest breakfast . There's actually nothing to choose from. The pool is dirty. The water is not filtered. Lizards enter the room, there are holes in the door through which they get inside.
Overall, I have mixed feelings about this place.
AliQuis24 YouTube — Google review
Very nice calm and white sand beach. Clean clear water which is quite shallow and warm. Therefore if you are "European size" you have to walk some distance to swim. A good place to relax and enjoy the sunset. Also have a small pier where eg. speedboats from Koh Chang arrive

My favourite beach on Koh Kood. Not very busy, which i appreciate.
We spent many hours in the water watching sunsets. Beautiful palm tree forest right on the water.
Would give it 5 stars but for the trash.
VERY IMPORTANT: There is broken glass in the water. We found broken glass in water and on sand everyday we came here.

Very curious spot. So I rented a room here on AirBnb that was a bungalow with a curved roof that looked very neat from the photos.. however the listing had no reviews and was a bit suspect. Once booked the owner sent a message saying that the listing I had booked (for around $75) was already booked and that they would upgrade me to a beachfront room for no charge. I said okay to this just as anyone would..
the strange part is when we arrived at our room it was nice.. but we found the listing for the beachfront rooms and the quality level was nowhere near the $120 asking price on AirBnb or the hotels website. It honestly didn’t even seem like it was worth the $75 I had paid.
Upon further investigation of the resort we found an area up the shore a ways that seemed closed off and found the original bungalows from the listing! They were all abandoned and in terrible shape, definitely no one would be booking those anytime soon.
So I think that they leave those listings active on Airbnb and if people book them they “upgrade” them to their other rooms which they cannot sell. Very confusing business practice.
Also the rooms came with breakfast but the breakfast they served was a bare minimum. The beach also needed cleaning quite a bit.. and there we signs all over the place saying 2000 Baht fine for bringing food or drinks into the resort. Which is really strange as we were staying there but feared bringing drinks in… to top it all off they have a beach bar that doesn’t sell any cocktails.. nothing but beer! So we can’t bring drinks in and could only buy a beer?!? It was nonsensical.
All in all the property looks like it was once a beautiful place, which has come down on some hard times. Swimming at the beach was sublime but dodging trash on the shore was not.
We left after one night and went to another resort for the next few nights called Siam Beach and it was way more worthwhile, and the same asking price. Really big breakfast and a tidy clean beach with tons of effort to keep it that way. I would avoid Ao Noi unless they can get their facilities back in order

I didn't stay at the resort but the bungalows looked ok from outside. It's in a beautiful bay but the resort must do more work to collect the rubbish washing up on the shore

Could be the best beach and resort in Koh Kood
No beach cleaning, tables, chairs are out of date...very strange atmosphere

Setting is very pretty with dramatic large rocks in the sea alongside beige sand. We didn’t swim here as there were many other options of clean beaches with soft sand on the island - just be careful of the rocks. Probably amazing for sunset views. A wedding was being prepared when we visited - can imagine it would make a beautiful outdoor wedding venue .

A quiet beach with a nice stretch of sand. Free to enter as every other beach on this island. Beach massages are available. They have a little counter serving drinks. Came here to fly my drone off the pier. Nice place to stop by.

We sincerely thank Jun and her family for their courteous hospitality, their loving nature and for letting us be guests in their little paradise... the rooms are bright and clean with a view of an idyllic little bay where you can swim and relax wonderfully....
She is very reliable. She organized quickly bike and transfer to Koh Chang.

We visited the beach once - a wonderful view. But the owner of the property ruins it all. Now you have to pay for it instead of just inviting visitors to be guests in their restaurant or resort.
Meanwhile both the resort and the restaurant both don't seem to be managed as good as other places on the island.
A natural wonder like this should not be given into the hands of such sad and negative people.
Luckily there are other natural wonders on this island with less frustrated people taking care of them. I go there regularly and spend my money with joy and thankfulness.
Koh Kood Resort is a relaxed vacation spot situated on a beautiful coastline. The resort offers charming bungalows with thatched roofs, an eatery, and a bar. Its ideal location at the end of the beach stretch provides easy access to comfortable seating areas by the sea, including nets for lounging in. The resort can accommodate large groups and takes excellent care of their guests. They even provide private boats instead of smaller fishing vessels for an enjoyable experience on the water.
Gorgeous location and atmosphere!
Perfect for a party, or just laid back and chill out. Sunset was magical (if you're lucky and get to see it)
Lunch/Dinner, all dishes we ordered were delicious including the fries. Breakfast was okay (Thai foods, breads, eggs, and coffee/teas)
Room was average, though considering it was not expensive, I'd say it was absolutely worth it. --in case you want your room make-up, ensure to hang up the clean my room sign at the door handle, otherwise they will just leave bottle of waters in front of your room.
Renting a motorbike for 300THB per day. Alternatively you can rent it outside, as it would be a bit cheaper (200-250THB) though it was more convenient renting at the resort.
Overall I enjoy the stay, and would definitely come back in the future.

The resort has a small nice private beach, though wooden deck is all broken, you can't walk on it. I think breakfast buffet is sufficient even for a vegetarian like me given you can eat eggs. The negatives are the garden view bungalow faced to the rear walls of the other bungalow, huge rats above the ceiling space run for hours, water pressure was low and water was lukewarm. There are 3-4 peaceful dogs that live 24 hr in the restaurant area and sleep under the tables. It would be nicer if the deluxe rooms had water kettle and coffee.

It is a great place for vacation and different cafes and the sea food are delicious with many beaches with different kinds of bars with different views which are so beautiful. overall I had stayed there for 2 nights and I enjoyed my vacation very well and sun set is so good view with full of fire as a visible. although i cannot take the pic but its makes my eyes feels so comfortable when i saw sunset while swimming in the sea.

Absolute gem of the island. The resort is situated in a bay with barely any boats around facing towards the west, great for a sunset.
We got the garden view which was very spacious. Nice hammock on your bungalow terrace and huge jungle vibe bathroom!
The staff were very helpful and recommended activities to do and scenic spots to visit around the island.
They also offered snorkel, kayak and other activities for rental per hour for very affordable! Unfortunately we came around rainy season so the winds were strong at the bay.
Overall we really enjoyed our experience and would be more than happy to book this resort again!

If you want a place to hang out, enjoy the sun and water (fresh or salt), this place is great. So many different areas to hang out. A net with pillows stretched out over the ocean, a row of floating beds in the sea, pillows under sun cover, large mats with sun umbrellas next to the pool, a table near the restaurant or bar, the table or hammock in front of your villa.. the list goes on. The breakfast is the best I have had in Thailand at a hotel and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It's a beautiful location, quiet and respectful. Even with all rooms fully rented it's not chaos here, it is peaceful. Yesterday at lunch we had fantastic sea bass. The drinks I tried were good but not great... I will try something different today.

Excellent location as its on the end of one of the beach stretch. Comfortable seating areas by the beach especially the nets. I went with 22 people and they took care if us at all times. They even managed to get us our own private boat instead of 2 smaller fishing boats. We all really enjoyed our time and will be back in the future. 😝😝

Unlucky me! Apart from nice beach and bar.
I had bad experience in this 4 stars resort. My room doesn’t have hair dryer because the staffs forgot to provide. No service since 9.30pm. TV did not work. Very low water pressure for shower. Workers camp very close to my house and they talk loudly at night till I fall asleep around 12am. Filling no privacy at all.

Beautiful resort in Koh Kood with a nice small beach and two small pools. It has everything you need like a restaurant with a good selection of western and Thai food at reasonable prices. They also have a bar for late night snacks and drinks. Staff are friendly and helpful. They also have motorcycles and kayaks for rent and will help you arrange fir tours to the waterfalls and ferry tickets back to the mainland. Our chalet had a hammock which was great to lay in the afternoons and read a book or snooze.

very nice resort. cottages located in a tropical forest - something beautiful! the whole thing looks amazing. There are only two minuses: the breakfast, which needs improvement (especially the bread) and the fact that you have to pay for kayaks and water activity equipment (it's the first time I've encountered this in a hotel of this class).

Koh Kood resort is situated on really nice Bang Bao beach with really amazing view from pool. The bungalow where we stayed 8 nights with my husband and 3years old daughter was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with amazing pancakes, fresh fruits and hot thai coconut cake. Coffee is not special I recommend to change it for fresh.
If you would like to explore the island or try another restaurants you need to rent a scooter provided by hotel (250/300bath per day).

Nice beach, bar, good location, delicious foods, and very friendly staffs but the room is quite old - starting safety box, broken handle bathroom, and old hand held bidet also water is not running out well. There is no room-service we have to buy ice and mixers to bring it back by ourselves more over the path is not good to carry and drag suitcases. All you can see in the pictures

We might be expected more from sea view room with the price 4000++ THB a night. The bathroom seems a bit 'outdoor' for us. We can not spend time long time in there at night because a lot of mosquitoes. It's over price in our opinion.
Anyhow, breakfast is good. Staffs are very helpful, They also let us use Kayak with no charge. Overall resort is peace and quiet.
Even Koh Kood itself is very quiet, we were planning to rent motorcycle and ride around but it seems nothing much to explore there.

Had a nice stay in this resort at an beautiful location. Around 30 min from pier to resort. Resort has beautiful rooms. Waterpressure and drainage could be slightly better (but minor thing in my opinion). Many facilities including bike rental, squid fishing trips and kayaking at beach of resort. Swimming pool is just fine. Def good place and would book it again if going back to Koh Kood.

Beautiful resort with amazing location and beach! The staff were really nice and attentive especially Samrong! Don't understand the complaints about the breakfast here 🤷🏻♂️there were pancakes, fruits, cereals and a person who makes fresh eggs for you, what else do you need? Yes the coffee is not great, I'd recommend just making a good filter coffee instead of the coffee machine.

I am extremely pleased with my stay at this hotel. The beach was unbelievably beautiful, and the water floats and other activities provided delightful entertainment. Watching the sunset from the beach offered breathtaking views.
The hotel's beach boasts some of the best snorkeling opportunities on the island. Special thanks for the breakfast; the hotel stayed true to authentic Thai flavors, avoiding overly Westernized options. A genuine plus point!

Hotel is well integrated in nature. The beach in front of the hotel is gorgeous and the sunset breathtaking.
Pool area is very nice.
Hotel is not a resort (very rustic and simple bungalows) but has it's charm.
Breakfast has a lot of Thai food options with very little options of western food. Only one fruit option... Coffee is very bitter, very strong and very low quality - I would strongly recommend an upgrade in the coffee option.
The room was clean, but I got a bad skin allergy (bed bugs? Allergy? I do not know). I asked to change bed clothes, they did it immediately but the skin "allergy" got worse in the next morning.
We decided to leave the hotel 4 nights earlier, unfortunately with no refund :(

We stayed 3 nights in a bungalow right behind the pool, which for us was an excellent location, we could sit or swing in the hammock on our deck and look at the fabulous view. a few steps away, we could cool down in the pool or relax on beanbags or loungers along the waterfront. The only downside to that location was the music played at tehbar until 11pm. the beach was beautiful, with clear water and a great temperature to swim in. they even had loungers in the water, but at our age, we were not sure we would be able to get up on them. the breakfast was excellent, great coffee and all we eat is fruit and rice soup, so suited us. Thai was okay, but Western food was excellent, we had the wrap, the chips, the toasted sandwich, and the patty sandwich was delicious. cocktails were reasonable. service in the restaurant was excellent, but downstairs on the deck bar, it was at times non-existent. the pool was excellent, but it was not easy to get in and out of as it did not have any steps. we loved our 3 days it was a greaat place to stay. we also walked along the beach to other bars as well

The location is perfect! The hotel has beautiful facilities and the sunset is amazing. The staff is very friendly as well. The food is okay but nothing extraordinary.
The frustrating part is that there are dogs. These dogs start barking at night. We stayed for 5 nights and each night got woken up by barking dogs for an hour long. There was no security guard who stopped them from barking.
The staff of the deck bar is very slow and they don’t know how to serve such an amount of people at a terrace.
The room doesn’t get cleaned unless you put the cleaning sign up. If you do not, you won’t get any clean towels or an empty trash-bin.
There was supposed to be a fire show on Saturday evening but we didn’t see anything. During the weekend the hotel has loads of people who are coming for a day and are doing fotoshoots which gets annoying staying there as a hotel guest.

I came with catamaran to the bay and if I could refill my fresh water tank 200l. They have fresh water at the pier so it was no extra trouble for them. After claiming up in decision chain I have been told by management in the resort that they might talk to director of the resort and if he agrees (what would be rather unusual) they will sell me 50l of water for 10 USD .
Simple message was, "you want get the water"
After almost 40 years of sailing, I was refused fresh water for the boat coming from the sea.
That tells you everything about this place
Great little café out on the pier! We were there alone and sat with our ordered fruit shakes, watched the sea and listened to the music from the café. Really nice.

Nice place with long bridge. If you are not the guest of the resort, you need to pay 50 THB/person for the entrance fee.
