This is the third hot spring I have visited in Ranong٠, the place is beautiful, there are many pools , there are small fish in the cold pond that clean the feet, very enjoyable.
I enjoyed a lot, there are parking and public services.

Amazing natural hot springs in Ranong. I have been here many times in many years since it was free of charge for entering. Still insisting here is the best hot springs around this area in overall aspects. Clean mineral water with proper temperature and plenty of pools. Services during Covid-19 period were also well monitored.

Perfect spot to break away if you need alone time for meditation and to center yourself. Hot springs with different temperatures. One of the must return to spots. Wonderful staff and very well kept clean spots.
Frances Lozear — Google review
Outstanding day of fun... Go early the hot spring pools are closed at 2 pm! There are about 5 dedicated pools all about 41 degrees (equivalent to a very hot bath). To cool down you have the very cool river with swimming areas, and loads of fish that nibble on your feet.
Well kept park... 100 Baht for foreigner to enter plus small amount per vehicle.
All round excellent value and well worth the trip.

A nice place with thermal springs of hot water and a small river in the same place to swim a bit in the cold water and chill your body after the hot springs.
Activity for about 2 hours (we didn't find the waterfall that is alegibly nearby). No food is sold inside. Some come with a bathing suit and some with regular clothes and just go in, so do what you like. There are toilets and a changing area on site. Children can go inside the hot pools.
The entrance fees are found in one of the pictures I shared (please note the additional car charges) and an annoying ADDITIONAL small fee is taken inside for using the hot springs. 20 baht for adults and 10 for children.

I think it's the best hot spring in ranong. Currently being improved with some work going on around the site. Several pools at different temperatures makes for a great experience when you can choose your temperature, and the stream that runs thru is a nice change. Change rooms and showers and washrooms are clean and well maintained. After the park entrance fee there is an additional small fee for the hot springs which they really should abolish and wrap into the park price. Of course, the insulting foreigner fee too.
WW — Google review
This area is a part of national park, small entrance fee is charged. No food or drink allowed at the hot spring area. This is good to keep the park clean. 5-6 pools are located around the park with different temperature. The outdoor shower is right next to the pool. No need for swimsuit when soaking, just be like locals by wearing T-shirt and shorts. Small canal runs through the center of the park and keeps cool climate. Coffee, ice-creme and souvenir shops are there at the entrance.

I visited during the summer time but early morning still suitable for hot spring, cool surrounding. This hot springs is located within the National Park which so well organized. My next trip will surely reserved the room right by the creek for 900 bath per night for air conditioning room. Contact the Ponrang hot springs national park Ranong.

Clean open air hot spring. Size is quite small. The hot pond is close to cool natural stream all in the green area of lightly forestry. Temperatures is around 40 degree Celsius which is perfectly good for soaking and relaxing.

Very interesting mangrove forest. My kids loved this place. A dog guided us all the way and protected us from wild monkeys. It is a round walk of around 1km.
We stayed here for 1.5 hours. With no kids, one can do it in about 30minutes. We went there during low tide. I will visit this place again during high tide.

Well organized, well maintained place. We learned a lot, probably better to come during low tide to see more animals. Beware of monkeys. One section of the walk next to the river is closed, what a shame.

Nice place. Be sure to know your part when visiting this kind of places. Don't monkey around as we come here to see wildlife, fishes, crabs and all. If yuore yelling, all those creatures will disappear. It was a very interesting place for me alone here untill peoples jump in. I can see mud crawler and all. But this place also served less then before. Bridge to other side of mangroves was closed. Got dashboard saying they'll bring you to some places by boat, but not there. So, enjoy pictures I posted, cheers!!!

Visited on Monday afternoon. No other visitors except our group. Nice and easy walk into the mangroves on concrete trail elevated from the wet floor.
Be ware of monkeys who are living in the mangrove. Recommend you carry wooden sticks (prepared for visitors at the entrance) so the monkey won’t bother you.

Us usual foreign tourists have to pay 100B to visit. However this waterfall can be visible before entry gates. Medium attraction, not much powerful waterfall during dry season. The place is controversial. It's a nice park with trees and flowers and it's good to walk around. There are statues and ponds but they are not being maintained. The statues require cleaning and the pond is just awful, it looks like it wasn't cleaned for months or even years, I don't think it is even safe to touch the water here.
We tried to get inside the palace at 15:40 but the staff didn't allow us because it is closing at 16:00, which is kinda strange.

Basic is Beautiful. And that's what you get here. No frills. Nothing but a great location next to the river, various temperature baths (some too hot for us), plus a towel and locker - all for 40 baht. Incredible value. Makes the expensive Spa across the road looked way over-priced. We only stayed in Ranong one night but visited here twice. But would like to go back because they were updating the whole site when we were there - so it probably more modern now than these photos show. Give it a go.
Pete Miller Explorer (Asia Focus) — Google review
The price is right, and Thai/farang are charged the same. Entry comes with a towel, and they have lockers you can use (you would need to bring or maybe rent a padlock). It's small- a few sitting areas and a few pools, but it's centrally located right next to the beautiful river, and the variance in pool temp is nice. The coolest one is like a Luke warm bath, good for the kids. The hottest one takes a second to get into and not one you should spend a long period of time in without cooling off. The showers are nice and cold and very refreshing after the sizzle. It's uniquely NOT sulphuric, so it doesn't smell and I didn't notice any jewelry change colors. Nice restaurants nearby you can watch over to after. They don't want kids splashing around and being loud- it's meant to be relaxing, so keep an eye on the little ones :) there's conveniently an outdoor public playground right next door too ;)

The position is next to Raksawarin Hot Springs can even be easily seen as the same place. Heat stimulates the body to produce healthy proteins. Therefore, taking a hot bath in Japan and many other countries is good for health. Those who are not familiar with it may not like it. During the day the sun is very hot and there is an umbrella provided. The air is clean. If there is a chance I will definitely go again. The service fee is not expensive. My girlfriend couldn't extend her tourist visa simply because the fact she's Chinese. I called up other immigrations in other province and even put them on the line with the manager, they tried to explain to her there was no such agreement between China and Thailand.
It turned out the regulation differs in different province... It's stupid we had to drive two hours to another province to get it done while we had all the documents at the actual immigration with zero queue...
One star for my frustration and another one for the manager's patience...
They never called our queue number, other people came later went straight up to the counter without a number, and we just sat there like two idiots staring at the screen, trying to behave and making things in order...
The regulation is totally idiotic...

Free hots springs available. Some are at 65°c! Take your time, but we were able to submerge our whole bodies, and it was invigorating.

A very nice place to spend an afternoon or even a day! There is a free hotspring pool but I paid 40 baht for 4 pools of varying temperatures of water. There were also towels, showers, lockers, changing rooms, a snack, and beach chairs to lounge in included in the entry fee. One of the pools was too hot but the warm one was really nice for me! I thought maybe a hot pool on a hot sunny day would be unpleasant but it was very relaxing. There are lots of supposed health benefits to the hot springs, like sweating out toxins from your skin, but I'm not exactly sure how well it works. Also, next to the springs there's a nice river to swim and splash around in, surrounded by beautiful trees and jungles with mountains around. Over all I spent a couple hours in this area but I would go again and spend some more time relaxing here again!

This hot spring is free, the main spring is 65deg very hot indeed but it flows into a pool further down and there the temp is just bearable and quite pleasant after you get used to it. A lot if locals seem to use this spring. Worth a quick stop off but no need to spend too long here.

Relaxing enclosed area to enjoy the strengthening benefits of the hot spring. Cost: 40 baht. You will get a towel as well as free water and access to locker, changing room and shower. This area includes 4 pools, the 2 big ones is around 40-45 degrees. The two small ones is lot cooler. The one that's supposed to be 45 degrees is really challenging.... Rather feels like 50. Relax and have fun!

Free to visit and soak you feet of bath in the river with the locals in the river. Just on the town boundary with Ranong. There are food accomodation and spa options. Worth continuing up the hill from the hot springs to the Ranong Canyon

This is the free of charge one, not the place that charges you to enter; that one has gone broke and out of business, thank goodness.
The natural HOT spring that once you feet enter will immediately feel the stings. The waters are really, really hot so I do not recommend immediately hopping into the pool.
Some locals will constantly pour cold water into one end of the pool to make it bearable for people like myself so take advantage of that.

Namtok Ngao National Park is a serene and compact location that features a hiking trail leading to a breathtaking natural cascade of water. For a small fee of 20THB per person, visitors can marvel at the stunning view from afar or take advantage of the built-in dam for water activities. A climb up to the falls view point offers an additional 350 meters of awe-inspiring scenery, but caution must be taken as it can be slippery.
A huge waterfall, the place is nice and clean, there are parking and public services, the walkway to the waterfall is easy
Fees :
100 B for foreigners, Free for Thais
30 B Car Fee
I recommend a visit 👍
Omar Talafeeh — Google review
The nature is great, but the accessible part of the park is not worth the entry fee (100 TBH for foreigners + 20 TBH for the scooter).
The only thing in the park (which appears to cover a huge area on the map) is 500m of concrete path leading up to the waterfall. That's it. The whole visit takes 10 minutes. You can actually see the waterfall better from the highway. It's virtually dried up during the dry season.
There is supposed to be another trail to the waterfall through the forest (as per the map at the main office), but that's marked with "no entry/danger" signs. It's readily apparent that the signs are there cause the trail isn't maintained.
The staff are friendly, but they don't speak or understand any English. I had a (Thai government-sponsored) free-entry pass, but they didn't understand what it was and made me pay anyway.
The one positive is that the ticket is valid for the Ponrang Hot Springs next door (you'll still have to pay another 20 TBH for actually using the hot springs).

It is high so you can snap some shots without entering the national park where you have to pay a fee 100 baht + 20 baht for a car parking. If you still wanna explore inside COVID rules are applied strictly here: they measure your temperature and ask to scan a code for way in and out too. Wear your mask. Inside there are social distancing reminders. No swimming due to Covid. However it’s a great place to visit without tourists. You can fully enjoy the peacefulness of the place. There are 2 tracks: natural for hikers and a concrete paved road for the rest. This is the second time I have seen so many beautiful big butterflies. The first one was in Khaen Krachan National Park. The weather in rainy season changes drastically so be prepared for short rainfalls.

Small and clean place to be. Gather around and see the fascinating falls which can be seen miles away. 20THB per person. Nice view. Built in dam for those who like to get wet. Climb up for another 350 mtr to see the falls view. Below it got small built dam where fishes diminates it. If you love to climb more to view point, please have your shoes on ya because it will be slippery. So, chill and enjoy!!!

Amazing waterfall it's so high and you can see it come right from the top of the mountain. Lovely short walk from the car park we never made the view point due to heavy rain worth a visit.

Went in to look at the waterfall, maybe just post a sign or tell people when it's worth seeing. I guess there had not been any rain lately so it was not at all worth going to, and the fee .. including the insulting foreigner fee
