The Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh is a peaceful, tranquil place where people from all across the globe come to learn about yoga, meditation and Ayurveda. The ashram is situated on the banks of the River Ganges and provides accommodation for pilgrims as well as daily yoga, morning prayers & meditation, daily satsang, kirtan, ayurvedic treatment and Ganga aarti.
They have around 1000 rooms in a serene setting. Bookings must be made online, and there is also a canteen. The ashram's environment and aura are serene. They also have an ashram that looks after the ghat. On a daily basis, one can participate in yagya, yoga, meditation classes, and prayer meetings. I stayed at the ashram for four days and had a wonderful time.
Kindly note Ashram main gate closed at 9:00 pm and again reopen at 6:00 am.

The Ashram premises is so peaceful and beautifully decorated. Loved my stay there.
However the room services can be improved. The reception doesn't pick up calls sometimes and you need to go physically to the reception to address any problem.
Rooms were good and spacious.

It's another beautiful and peaceful place to visit.
They have their evening aarti here around evening 5.45 pm or 6 pm somehow.
It's just by the riverside, one can also offer their prayers to the holy river Ganges here.
They have temples inside, campus of their own and also a well maintained canteen where one can have hygienic and tasty food, snacks, beverages at reasonable prices. The ordering system is well managed and no rush or crowding is there. One can have a peaceful meal here.

This is the largest ashram in the rishikesh with over 1000+ rooms. Parmarth niketan provides a very clean and pure atmosphere with beautiful gardens.

Rishikesh for me is Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Visiting there since I was just 6year old.
Every year we go there in summer just to spend leisure time.
Vibe is amazing, one will get peace.
So, it is situated on the banks of River Ganga.
This place is famous for it's evening Ganga Aarti.
Me and my family every year we go to Rishikesh in summers and we always stay in Parmarth Niketan Ashram, we like this place alot.
They have a canteen inside and food is just too good. The taste of food is same like home cooked food. They have different option for breakfast ,lunch and dinner daily.
This place offers a comfortable stay as this place is so peaceful.
Because of all these facilities in Parmath Niketan Ashram we always manage to stay there for more than 10days every year.
Not only for Ganga Aarti, this place is well known for yoga also. It is one of the top yoga centers in India.
Every year a huge yoga festival happens here around yoga day.
Parmarth Niketan is a TRUE HEAVEN, everyone must visit there atleast once in their lifetime

Definitely a must to visit place while in Rishikesh, but somehow lost its original essence and significance. One can definitely sense commercial activities and tourist influx here. I didn't find a peaceful atmosphere here due to the over gathering of tourists.
Food is delicious here, must try !
For Ganga Aarti, huge gathering of crowd.

Serene and peaceful atmosphere, the opportunity for spiritual growth and self-reflection, the sense of community and support from fellow practitioners, and the chance to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Knowledgeable and experienced teachers or gurus who provide guidance and wisdom during meditation, yoga, or other spiritual practices.
The Ganga arti-A mesmerizing and spiritual experience of witnessing the ritual on the banks of the holy Ganges River. The beautiful sight of the priests performing intricate rituals with fire, incense, and lamps, accompanied by devotional songs and chants that create a serene and uplifting atmosphere. The sense of connection to the divine and the sacred energy that permeates the air during the ceremony, as well as the opportunity for personal reflection and spiritual growth.
On the other hand, overcrowding and chaos at the venue, making it difficult to fully immerse oneself in the experience. The commercialization or exploitation of the ritual for tourism purposes, detracting from its authenticity and spiritual significance.

Title: A Divine Oasis on the Banks of the Ganges - Parmarth Niketan Ashram Review
I recently had the privilege of experiencing the serenity and spiritual richness of Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh, and I must say, it left an indelible mark on my soul.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Ganga Aarti, a celestial spectacle that unfolded as the sun dipped below the horizon. The ashram's tranquil atmosphere combined with the rhythmic chants and the flickering lights created an ambiance that can only be described as heavenly. It was a deeply moving experience, and I could feel a profound sense of connection with the divine.
The ashram boasts a stunning view of the majestic Ganges River and the adjacent temple, adding to the overall sense of spirituality. The view, especially during the Aarti, is nothing short of breathtaking. The ashram's location provides a perfect vantage point to soak in the beauty of the sacred river and the surrounding landscape.
For those interested in a bit of retail therapy, the ashram offers a range of market options for shopping. From spiritual artifacts to traditional clothing, the market caters to various tastes and preferences. It's a great opportunity to take home a piece of the spiritual journey and share it with others.
One notable aspect of Parmarth Niketan is its efficient crowd management. Despite the popularity of the ashram, the serene atmosphere is well-preserved, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the spiritual experience without feeling overwhelmed by the crowds. The organizers have done an excellent job of ensuring that the sacredness of the space is maintained.
The ashram is undoubtedly one of the best places to reconnect with oneself. The peaceful surroundings, combined with the spiritual practices and teachings, create an environment conducive to introspection and self-discovery. It's a sanctuary for those seeking solace and a deeper understanding of their inner selves.
However, it's worth noting that parking can be a bit of an issue, especially during peak times. It's advisable to plan accordingly or explore alternative transportation options to avoid any inconvenience.
In conclusion, Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh is a must-visit for anyone seeking a spiritual retreat. The heavenly vibes, combined with the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, the beautiful views, and the market options, make it a unique and enriching experience. Despite minor challenges like parking, the overall journey is well worth the profound sense of peace and connection that Parmarth Niketan provides.

Good spiritual place. Various occasions like shivratri holi are celebrated nicely here.
To come here charge your legs and be ready for the crowded atmosphere all around.
Parking is extremely difficult especially during the Holidays. Need to walk about 2.5 km through one hanging bridge. The place is usually crowded. Ganga arti is beautiful and worthy.

Attended ganga Aarti, incredible experience and spiritual atmosphere.
1. Must visit the ashram during morning or evening time and take a look at various temples, murtis, ghats🌟
2. Have lunch and dinner at their canteen. Must try - allo paratha, rice combos. Very affordable and quantitative food. 😋
3. On the back side you can join them in the meditation hall, open to all and get good experience with trained masters. 🧘
4. Rooms are very tough to book, only online booking is available and to which they prefer foreigners and families over group of bachelor. That actually is true and sad truth. But overall best place. 😇
The 450ft long suspension bridge in Rishikesh, Shri Ram Jhula, connects the banks of the river Ganga with the Swarga Ashram and is a popular tourist destination. It is one of two famous bridges in Rishikesh - Lakshman Jhula being the other - and gives visitors a panoramic view of the area. Pre-wedding photographers recommend this place as an ideal spot for taking pictures before weddings.
If you want to feel this bridge go a bit early approx 6am-7am to avoid the Jhula rush. Sit around the ghats have tea and just look at the Ram Jhula. This would be the most spiritual and peaceful experience. Just listen the voice of Holy Ganga Ji.

Ram Jhula, an iconic suspension bridge spanning the Ganges River in Rishikesh, India, is a captivating blend of spirituality, architecture, and natural beauty. This architectural marvel holds not only the promise of connecting two distant banks but also a bridge between the material and the spiritual worlds.
Constructed in 1986, Ram Jhula is a true testament to human ingenuity. Its steel cables and concrete pillars gracefully stretch across the river, offering a mesmerizing sight against the backdrop of the majestic Himalayas. The bridge is not just a means of transportation but a pilgrimage in itself, as it is believed to be the path that Lord Rama took during his exile.
Walking on Ram Jhula, one can feel the vibrant energy of Rishikesh, a town renowned for its spiritual significance. The bridge is flanked by numerous ashrams, temples, and yoga centers, making it a hub for seekers of enlightenment and inner peace. The gentle swaying of the bridge as you walk adds to the ethereal experience, creating a sense of unity with the flowing Ganges below.
The view from the bridge is a panoramic delight. On one side, you can witness the bustling life of Rishikesh with its colorful markets, while on the other, the serene forests and mountains whisper tales of ancient wisdom. The sight of devotees offering prayers and performing rituals along the riverbank is a reminder of the timeless spiritual practices that continue to thrive in the modern world.
As day transitions into night, the bridge transforms into a realm of serenity. The illuminated temples cast a soft glow on the water's surface, creating an atmosphere of tranquility that's perfect for introspection and contemplation.
In conclusion, Ram Jhula is not just a bridge but a journey. It's a journey that takes you beyond the physical realm, allowing you to connect with the spiritual essence of Rishikesh and the sacred Ganges. Its beauty, significance, and spiritual energy make it an essential stop for anyone seeking to explore the heart of India's spiritual heritage.

Ram jhula is one of the very famous hanging bridge in Uttarakhand. The view of the bridge is just mesmerizing. The very clean green water will definitely allow your brain to turn on the meditation mode. Unfortunately, the motor bikes going through the bridge will never allow you to get that piece. I really hope that they should stop the motor bikes to cross the river via this wonderful bridge. But i know it will never be true. Anyway still it is beautiful, peaceful place.

The Shankaracharya Nagar temple (formerly the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram) is a former Transcendental Meditation ashram in Rishikesh, India that is now a popular pilgrimage site for fans of the Beatles. Abandoned and overgrown for decades, it has been reclaimed by the Forest Department and turned into a graffiti-art museum. The meditation hall features bizarre rock-lined hallways and striking street art pieces.

The Beatles ashram was a peaceful and serene place. It is unfortunate that the buildings are not being looked after as there is real potential for bringing the history here to life. Well if you want to explore something wonderful, you can visit this place. Lots of wall painting can be spotted on site. Old era kitchen, mess, dormitory, post office, Beatles bungalow and other important things can be seen.
On the top of two to three buildings you can see some kind of dome where you can climb at your own risk. The view on the top of it is worth risking. However you might get exhaust because the premises of Chaurase Kutiya is too big to wonder here and there. The place is very photogenic

84 Kutiya means 84 huts. It is also known as the Beatles ashram after the visit of the world-famous British band in 1968. The place is now turned into a ruin but offers so much to see and experience. The quality and design of the construction is fantastic. You can view the ruins of the duct air conditioning system constructed in the 70s. It is a highly recommended place to visit if you are in Rishikesh.

Reaching here may take a toll on your patience, depending on the route you take. In our case, the policemen standing at a fork told us to go left, which ended up in taking us along a very harrowing mountain ride (the other route was considerably shorter, but without the view.) The ashram is right next to the banks of the Ganges, and the banks are just a wee walk away from the entrance of the ashram. Now, at 150 rupees per adult Indian ticket, you may or may not find this worth it, depending on what you have come here to see. If you are explicitly going there to visit the place where the Beatles once lived and meditated, you may find it worth the hassle. If you are going there for casual tourism, you may wonder why you really had to come here. Coming to the place itself, it is basically a partially renovated complex of ruins. You will find many of the buildings broken up and overgrown with vegetation. You will be pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount of graffiti around many of the ruined buildings, created by visiting artists from around the world: in honor of the Beatles mainly. If you climb up to the roof of one of the four-storeyed apartments to visit the four dome-shaped structures, you will be presented with a breathtaking vista of the surrounding mountains and vegetation, not mentioning the beautifully painted domes themselves. The place does leave you wondering the question, "Why was such a place even abandoned in the first place?"
Tl;dr: Visit this place if you are a Beatles fan, risk it out even if you aren't.

At Triveni Ghat, a holy site on the banks of the Ganges River in Rishikesh, Hindu pilgrims come to take a dip and offer prayers to their deities. The evening aarti is particularly auspicious and attracts many tourists.
One of the best holy place to worship the river Ganga. Daily aarti is observed at this placed after 6pm in the evening. Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, is a special place. It's where three important rivers, the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati, meet, creating a holy spot. People from all over the world come here to find peace and spirituality.
When I visited Triveni Ghat, I saw a big statue of Lord Shiva watching over the place. People, including holy men called sadhus, gathered there to pray. They chanted "Har Har Mahadev" to honor Lord Shiva.
One of the most beautiful things I saw was when people took a dip in the Ganga river. They believed it washed away their sins and made them pure.
In the evening, a special ceremony called Ganga Aarti took place. Priests in saffron clothes lit oil lamps and sang songs. The sight of these glowing lamps by the river was mesmerizing.
Triveni Ghat is not just a holy place, but also a meeting point for different cultures. It's where traditions from all around India come together.
While Triveni Ghat is a special place, it's also important to take care of the environment and the ghat itself. Uttarakhand is a beautiful state, and we should protect it.
My visit to Triveni Ghat left me feeling grateful for the spirituality and culture it holds. It's a reminder that faith and tradition still thrive in this world.

hello to all
Visiting Triveni Ghat at the break of dawn was an experience that I will cherish forever. Arriving at 5 am, I was greeted by the tranquil beauty of the sunrise, a sight that filled me with a profound sense of peace. The early morning ambiance at the ghat is something truly special. As the first rays of the sun kissed the water, the whole place seemed to awaken with a gentle vibrancy.
Around me, people were immersing themselves in the holy waters, engaging in rituals, and offering prayers for blessings. Observing these acts of devotion amidst the natural beauty of the ghat was deeply moving. The blend of spirituality and nature's serenity at Triveni Ghat has a unique way of touching the soul.
I spent about an hour and a half there, but the time seemed to fly by. The sounds of the morning - the gentle flow of the river, the soft chirping of birds, and the murmurs of prayers - created a melody that resonated with the surroundings, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere.
Being there, surrounded by the stunning view of nature and witnessing the devout practices, was a reminder of the beauty and spirituality that exists in the world. It was not just a visit but an experience that evoked a range of emotions and left me with a lasting sense of tranquility.
The early morning visit to Triveni Ghat was indeed a remarkable experience. It's a place where nature and spirituality converge, offering a moment of reflection and connection that is hard to find elsewhere. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking peace, spiritual solace, or just a moment to appreciate the beauty of life.

I hope this revised version captures the essence of your experience more vividly and makes it easier for others to understand the beauty and emotion of your visit to Triveni Ghat.

Famous for it's Daily Evening Aarti and sacred baths.
But it's not just a ghat for baths or pooja but a scenic point and due to its length it naturally becomes a walking area, yoga or hangout place.
Well managed by Shri Ganga Sabha, Rishikesh. The ghat is very long with a dedicated area for daily evening Aarti.
Ghat is open 24*7 and has free but limited capacity of parking space.
The ghat has steps and gaurd rails for devotees who need support. It is also wheel chair friendly.
Ghat has chain barriers where people can safely bath, but mostly people prefer to cross it and feel the strength of Maa Ganga.
Ghat provides changing rooms for women and dedicated washrooms for both men and women.
Daily pooja offerings and plastic gallons are available to be purchased from local sellers. Friendly advice: don't hesitate in Bargaining.
If you want to see the magnitude of our most sacred river, it gives you se glimpse of it and you will be mesmerised with the scenary it holds. Elephant is one of the lucky sites you can get on the opposite end of the river bank.

The site where all the Panditji or Pujaris do Ganga Aarti in a sequential manner is the finest place to go if you want to see the most genuine and well-managed Ganga Aarti. The vista is fantastic, and the Aarti is administered beautifully. Also has proper sitting facilities.

Beautiful Ganges Puja at Triveni Ghat. Reach before time to get the best place to sit and view the arti. if you want the first 3 rows then buy the aarti ticket costing INR 500 per person. If you just wanna enjoy aarti then reach around 5-5,30 and grab a seat from the 4th row. post that you would be stopped from seating in the first rows as they are reserved for aarti people. Rest you get an amazing experince of the ganga aarti.

You want peace, serenity, divine bliss and maa ganga - you go to Triveni ghat.
In case you're planning to attend the evening aarti, I recommend going at least 30-45 minutes before the scheduled time to secure a good spot from where the aarti can be seen peacefully. The place gets very crowded on weekends.
Aarti is followed by keertan which is a vibe in itself!

Kunjapuri Mata Ancient Temple - कुंजापुरी माता प्राचीन सिद्धपीठ
Kunjapuri Mata Ancient Temple, also known as माता कुंजापुरी प्राचीन सिद्धपीठ, is a Hindu pilgrimage located on the Rishikesh-Gangotri Highway in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The temple site offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayan peaks such as Nanda devi, Bandarpunch and Gangotri.
The temple of Siddha Peeth Maa Kunjapuri Devi is situated on a mountain peak (1676 m) on the 4 kms diversion road from Hindolakhal 20 kms from RISHKESH on Narendra Nagar Chamba road. After climbing more than 260 steps from the parking, the temple Courtyard can be reached.
Kunjapuri is one of the fifty-two Siddha Peeths, it is believed that Jagadguru Shankaracharya established the goddess at this place. According to mythological belief, when Sati sacrifice herself to fire in the yagya kund of father Daksha, Lord Shiva lifted the body of Sati and started moving in a very sad and disturbed state, then Lord Vishnu divided the body of Sati into pieces with a Chakra out of which part of the chest (Kunj) fell here, which is established in the form of Pindi.
The best view of sunrise is visible from Kunjapuri temple. Long mountain ranges towards the Himalayas, between which some snow-capped peaks are also visible, on the other hand the part of the Ganges valley from Rishikesh to Haridwar and the plains of the Doon valley is visible, meaning you can see the whole 360° view from the temple. .
From Rishikesh you can travel by scooty or taxi, you can go to Hindolakhal by public vehicle, from there you can walk or share jeep etc. to cover a distance of four km. One can also use an eight km foot track in the return journey which originates at Tapovan of Lakshman Jhula. One can travel from Rishikesh to Rishikesh by vehicle in a maximum of three hours.

A beautiful temple in the Himalayas near Rishikesh. A definite visit if you are looking for a serene place. Away from the hustle bustle this one gives you some amazing views of the mountains and snow clad peaks.
Sunrise and sunset are the best times to be here. There is trek route available too if you are an adventure seeker.
The drive to the temple is quite interesting too. Uphill drive keeps you enchanted. Route to the top is quite nice. Once you reach the parking of the temple you need to climb about 200 steps to the temple.
Please do visit if you are one for an offbeat travel. Definitely recommended place.

A well-kept, neat, and clean place. One must get here for sunrise as the views are astonishing.
We got here later in the afternoon, so it wasn't super busy, and we did the best of darshans (diety viewing). The people here are super friendly and are the happiest of souls.
There are a lot of monkeys, so keep your stuff tucked away.
To get to the temple, there's about 300 steps but several spots for one to rest if you can't make it in one go.

Perched on top of a hill near rishikesh the temple offers a beautiful view of the mighty ganges meandering towards the plains on one side and snow clad peaks on the other. The trek is quite easy and comfortable as there is a flight of stairs that starts from the parking and leads upto the temple premises. Just 4 to 5 kms from narendra nagar is a very beautiful and peaceful place to visit.

Situated at the height of 1652 mts , the view from the temple is amazing .Maa bhagwati ki Aseem kripa is poore area mei barasti hai & you will power of goddess . Navratras mei yaha par mela lagta hai . Aur yaha par bahut bheed ho jaati hai . Otherwise it’s peaceful area . You have two options to reach the temple , one is 312 stairs & second is simple trek . It located in Rishikesh-Gangotri Highway. 26km from Natraj Chowk,Rishikesh Take a sharp right turn after 10km ahead of Narendranagar town. although whole region is peaceful and clam but the temple site at top is one of my favourite where you can enjoy mesmerising beauty of Mother Earth. you will also get to view of Himalayan peak like Nanda devi, Bandarpunch, Gangotri etc. the chilling wind will blow and freshens your mind and soul.
note if you are coming by public transport then let me inform you that it’s around 3-4km walking in lavish greenery wood although road condition is good. Also when you will come don’t litter here carry trash bag along with yourself and help in cleaning this religious site

The water fall is about an hour of up hill climb from the road. Mesmerizing and enchanting is the words that come to my head when i first laid my eyes on this beauty of nature. Tera Manzil Temple also known as Kailash Niketan temple or Tryambakeshwar Temple is located on the banks of river Ganga. It is one of the most important religious sites in Rishikesh.
The temple is believed to have been built by Adi Shankarachary in the 9th Century.
Located next to the Laxman Jhula, the temple has 13 floors with each floor having deities of gods and goddesses. The top of the temple provides some wonderful panaromic views of the river and the laxman jhula bridge.
There are no elevator to reach the top but the steps are easy to climb. With its open architecture, one can get wonderful views from each floor making the climb that much more well paced.
Best time to visit is early mornings or late evenings. Temple timings are 6.00 am to 7.00 pm. One can combine this visit with the Parmarth Niketan Ghat for the Shiv Aarti.

A beautiful devotional structure. Lovely place to enjoy the free flow of The Holy Ganges river along with seeking divine blessings from Devi-Devata. You will be astonished to think how our ancestors built this archeological wonder on the bank of the river as well as this hilly area. The free flowing sound of The Holy River Ganges will purify your mind and heart. You will feel like a fresh soul.
This temple has 13 floors from bottom to the top. Each floor is designed and decorated with significant Devi-Devata aka deities. There is no elevator system so you have to reach the top floor by foot. But trust you won't feel tiresome at all.
The temple normally opens from 6:00 am in the morning and closes at 7:30 pm in the evening. On auspicious days or occasions you may have to wait in queue.
Lastly, beware of the monkeys roaming around in the nearby trees or in the corridor/balcony of the temple. They are very naughty and more often snatch your purses, glasses or phones. So capture the pictures so cautiously.

This is historical temple and much revered by Hindu people. However, it is thoroughly miss managed. There are numerous shops all around which completely obscure the temple. Direction to temple can be be confusing if you ask shopkeepers. Just go through the arch that you will see on your right. This is the shortest way to find temple. Temple compound is filthy. Interior of temple is not much better either. There is mad rush. Do not remove your shoes too soon as every shopkeeper offers/asks you to remove shoes. If you do make sure you remember which you removed your shoes at. Better take picture of shop and lane. Best to carry a bag to remove shoes and put inside to carry with you. Car parking is another mess. On weekday late morning we found cars parked for a kilometer long stretch. Remaining road was jammed by two lanes of cares- one in each direction. Scooters fill in all the space in between cars. Walk at you risk if you do not mind a bone being broken, chances are not high but be on guard. Not worth going. As we say God is every where so visit a temple near to your home and put all donations only in donation boxes.

If you do not have your own vehicle then you will have to taxi, sharing autos do not go that high.

Temple dedicated to lord Shiva who drink poison to save world.
After a long mountain can ride you need to take a walk for 2 Km to reach the most awesome astonishing Shiva neelkanth Mahadev temple .
Things to remember:
Before you start the journey drink lemonade to be hydrated. Take small breaks .
Entry and exit of the temple is too far away to try to keep your shoes at the exit point , this will help you to exit easily after darsan pooja . Otherwise you will have to return back to get your shoes.
Follow the arrow sign to reach the temple after submitting shoes because there are too many shops and small temples which can cause confusion. So follow the arrow sign or ask after every turn which way is to the temple .
Only gangajal is allowed in the temple ,so other staff shopkeepers sell it only for their belief and profit. Other stuff people can use outside the temple in a place.
After completing the journey you can have food or snacks in local shops and they have two restaurants there too vanjanam and the food court. Fully AC and self service .
The views on the road side are so cool and nature is full of beauty.

The parking starts 1 km away from.the place, we reached at ~11 am there, parked the car, paid 100/- for parking.
Walked for 20 mins or so to reach close to temple where we had to take out our shoes/slippers etc at a shop, get prasad of 100/- and head towards the temple, through Gate 4.
We had to stand in a queue to get inside, darshan was good, inside there are 2 more temples to go to for bhabhooti & offering other things to Mahadev. You can donate/contribute as per your wish.
Place is soothing, people were taking quick bath too in temple campus as there's a water source in there.
Finally we came out after spending some time in the Neelkanth temple.
There are many eateries on the way to temple, and a nearby food plaza too which serves veg north, South Indian as well as continental and Chinese food.

Amazing place and religiously important as well. You can either take a taxi or rent a scooty which is around 600₹ for a day. Its 20kms from garun chatti and will take 2-3 hours to reach. Once you reach here there’s a walk of 1km to reach the neelkanth mandir.
You can take the sumo taxis that run and take 15₹ per person to drop you to temple but its a task to get one as there’s too many people waiting for it. Mandir has two entrances one the main gate and the other just ahead of it. Neelkanth mandir always have long queues that run around the temple before taking you inside the temple where you can darshan dor approx 10-15seconds and then move on as its to crowded.
Over it was a good experience if you are religious this temple is here because shiv ji sat here when he drank the vish and when he left from here he left a shivling behind.

Nice place go ahead you love IT.Garud Chatti waterfall is one of the hot spots, mainly among foreign tourists in Rishikesh. The waterfall is small but beautiful. This waterfall is most beautiful during the monsoons when the water flows in seven different levels. It is a pleasant place to visit and to spend a couple hours.
The trek route to Garud Chatti Waterfall starts around 3 km away from Lakshman Jhula on the Neelkanth Mandir Road. The trek starts from a temple dedicated to Garuda. Visitors need to trek for about 1.5 km from here to reach the waterfall

This place is almost half a kilometer walk up. There are few points to stop by but if you can hike go a lil further and you'll find this amazing fall with a sma pool. It's quite with very few people in there. Have a relaxed time and enjoy the nature.

The water fall is at a very isolated and peaceful place near several camps. It is located in a jungle so one needs to be cautious also, if not in a group. But it is very good place with no crowds. One has to go through a trek of 4 to 5 km. It is located at a distance of about 15km approx. From Rishikesh.

The Jeep Safari in Rajaji National Park offers a thrilling and unforgettable experience for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. From spotting majestic deers to encountering elephants, the safari park is full of wonderful surprises. The efforts of the driver add to the excitement, as they put in all their effort to help visitors spot elusive animals like leopards. To make the most out of your visit, it is best to go during evening hours when animals are more active outside of their jungle habitats.
Great Staff...good experience.

A great safari experience, we were lucky to spot 3 leopards . We were chased by an elephant which was just feet’s away from hitting us but thanks to our experienced driver who not only got us out but also rescued our friends who were in the vehicle behind us . They were chased head on for 500 meters . Overall a wonderful experience.

We spotted 3 leopards in a single trip! Our guide Altaf took us in the evening in the Raniji Zone of Rajaji National Park and we spotted quite a lot of peacocks, wild hens, hornbills, cormorants and langoors... We had given up hope of spotting any elephants or leopards, but around 6pm we spotted 2 leopards and on the way back spotted one more leopard... We were lucky and also had Altaf as a capable guide who could spot the leopards from a fair distance...
