2023 was my second year in a row attending the motogp event here. I broke my foot a couple of weeks prior to the event but the staff were incredibly helpful with my mobility issues. The organization of the event is second to none. The food and beverage selections were outstanding. I strongly recommend the main grandstand for comfortable seating and close access to vendors. Chang International Circuit is the gold standard for MotoGP races in South East Asia. Keep doing what you are doing, it's almost perfect! See you in 2024!

Nice circuit for people to come and drive and run, particularly on the eve of the Buriram Marathon.
Hats off to everyone who organized it and for those who built an absolute monster of an arena.
Smooth running and a great ambiance on the marathon race day with the crowd cheering.

. I can easily give 5 star all over review . Professional complex. High quality circuit. Thai people must be proud. Also bring many tourists to Buriram and Thailand.

What a strange place to put a big screen, right behind a tent! Or perhaps the screen was there first. In any case, it makes the screen almost useless.
Update after 2 hrs: the tent moved! Thanks for that, much appreciated.

Visit to see motoGP . Track arrange thousands of visitors very well. Shuttle bus was everywhere. Food and drink was great. Quite hot but very pleasant and entertained. Side stand roof doesn't protect you from rain.

Definitely an international standard venue. 2022 MotoGP has just concluded and I loved every bit of it. Loses a star rating for insufficient parking and lack of parking directing. So many spaces lost through poor parking.

One of most exciting events of the year with ThaiGP for 3 consecutive years.

This circuit in Buriram, Thailand is a very special track and presents all sorts of challenges to the riders, from very hot temperatures to pouring rain in the blink of an eye. We really enjoyed this years MotoGP. One or two issues that we encountered were, the lack of product for riders, I wanted a BB33 shirt, cap or flag...nothing. Also the prices were ridiculously expensive and very prohibitive, but the biggest problem for us was the inability of the organisers to erect stands which were effective....on qualifying day we were on the permanent stand which was no problem however on race day, in order to be closer to the action, we were on the temporary stand. Due to the design of the canvas roof of this stand, which was littered with holes, this presented little shelter against the rain when it came and boy did it pour...we were soaked.

MotoGP 2022. Excellent time rain and all. Fortunately MotoGP made it through the whole race without rain.
Lots of food selections and plenty of vendors and other activities to do including some live music and some great Muay Thai fights after the races. Can't wait for the next race. Everyone in Buri Ram was great, friendly and the hospitality was lovely. I will be back to spend more time in the area and attend other events.
Khao Kradong Forest Park is situated on a former volcano and offers visitors the opportunity to climb up to a panoramic summit where they can see a Buddha statue. The park features well-maintained grounds with several different sites that can be accessed via a narrow paved road or hiking trails. The area is known for its stunning views and peaceful atmosphere, making it an excellent destination for nature lovers.
I had a nice peaceful time walking up to the Buddha, which wasn't too hard but was hot! Then I went down the other side over the cable bridge and the old volcano. It's worth a look around for an hour or 2. There were more things to see but way too far on foot.

Great views and very peaceful place. Lots of steps to climb if your feeling energetic, otherwise there is a carpark at the top 😉
David Ibbison — Google review
So you can climb up the 297 very steep steps and enjoy the feeling you did a decent workout getting as an award a breath taking view over Buriram and its racetrack and football stadium or you pay 20 baht for a baht taxi to get You up.

Fantastic place to visit! Right now is volcano festival. A must see.

A lovely nature, a good place for hiking, at the top you will visit Wat Khao Kradong, a Buddhist temple and statue and also the opening of Kradong volcano which is not an active volcano.

A quiet place with a nice view at the top. Can you climb 300 steps? If not there are tricks for hire.

Beautiful place to visit, very scenic with lots of food and drinks available. Great views at the top of the volcanoe across buriram, with the chang arena and race track visible in the distance. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Took my mum to this place for the first time here. Over +300 steps to the temple and we didn’t know that you can drive up there lol🤣
But all is good, I’m glad to have my mum do a long walk workout for a bit. The view would have been so much better if the PM2.5 wasn’t there.

The Khao Kradong Forest Park is a recreational area and it is a location of the ancient volcano that are still clearly shows traces of the crater, it looks like a deep basin which can walk and study the volcanic rocks, The highest peak is about 265 meters above sea level.

I was surprised to see there was a narrow paved road ( one way) to get you to the various sites located on this steep hill. (or you can hike to the lookout point and “volcanic lake”). It is definitely worth a visit. It is nice to see the grounds well maintained.
William Hartz — Google review
It was such a tranquil place to visit. The steps are difficult if you have mobility problems. But there is a mini bus to help you get to the top. Please remember it is a holy place so please be discrete long shorts only for men n no vests .ladies take scarfs n a sarong. Because you may not be allowed into some of the most beautiful areas.
Impressive leisure park. I would imagine that it's buzzing on match night, when there's a big event at the International Circuit.

From the city to castle take approx. 1 hrs. The overall castle still looks strong. Good for tourists to see the ancient monument from the 15th century BC.

An interesting replica of ancient Khmer temples. Not very busy. The adjoining gardens are well worth a visit. There is a small shopping area with restaurants, a drug store, ATMs, and a Buriram United FC outlet store and other local shops.

It’s free to view but very small, combine with a tour of the Chang stadium next door to make a day of it.

Very simple attraction next to the Chang International Circuit, and worth checking out if you're already planning on being in the area.
While I like the scenery, I don't feel it's worth a visit in its own right but rather as a side trip as it was for me since I'm attending the Thai Moto GP at the Circuit.
Visit during early morning or evening, during the day the heat can lack of any shade can be quite brutal.

Very nice place, came the day after marathon 2024. There aren't too many shady places, but that's understandable because large events require a large and flexible space.

Buriram Castle is a must-visit destination in Buriram! The complex beautifully blends traditional Khmer architecture with modern design, offering a stunning visual experience. The serene atmosphere, with well-maintained gardens and water features, makes for a peaceful visit.
There are numerous shops, restaurants, and cultural exhibits that provide a rich insight into the local heritage. The nighttime illumination adds a magical touch, making it perfect for evening strolls.
Overall, Buriram Castle is a fantastic place to explore and enjoy the culture and beauty of Buriram. Highly recommended!

Great parking, clean restrooms. Good selection of moderate price restaurants. Not all shops were open. The wine shop is outstanding. Even a Thai passport office and a small branch for Thai Immigration.
Stephen Hanson — Google review
Yes, it’s a Khmer temple replica in an amusement area, a bit Kitsch, but still worth a short stop over
Not sure if the Caste it’s a generic replica or an actual depiction of a real temple in this area of Thailand. The ‘castle’ is situated next to the Buriram football stadium and race track. It’s more like a Disneyland experience than a cultural one. But having said that, there are some interesting stone carvings to the west of the castle depicting a couple in various Kamasutra poses – something that I would not have expected in prudent Isaan. The landscaping is also very nice with a small tropical garden and 3 desert gardens.
Entrance is free
Located in Buriram, the King Rama I Monument is a bronze statue dedicated to the founder of the city who is depicted riding a war elephant. The monument is situated near a major traffic circle where visitors can park and make a small donation to inscribe their wishes on metal charms that can be hung at the base of the statue. At night, it's particularly impressive due to its lighting structures, which creates an incredible atmosphere when walking through them.
Very beautiful monument of King Rama 1st, big statue of him riding his elephant to war with Burma, it's better to come see at nighttime with all the lights on, it's in middle of a busy round about😁 so have to run quick when no car.

Beautiful Statue & Decor honoring King Rama I, very pretty in the evening with the lighting.
It's very easy to view while driving and if you're staying in Buriram it's a helpful landmark.

A must see in the evening in Buriram. I always liked the statue, but now with the lighting structures it is incredible. Once you park you have the opportunity to walk through the lights. Be careful crossing the road as there are no traffic signals. Plenty of places to get a drink or bite to eat near the King Rama Monument.

Parking around the traffic circle where the statue is located but becareful when you cross the road as it's a major thoroughfare.
You can make a small donation to get a metal charm to inscribe your wishes and hang it at the base of the monument.

This big elephant/king monument represents the glory of King Rama I, founder of Buriram, located in the round in the center of the Buriram city. Be carefull while crossing the street to reach the round. Also you need to take off your shoes before climbing the stairs to reach the statue.

It is located in a roundabout at the entrance to the city. So be careful when crossing the road to get there. King Rama 1 is the founder of Thailand Chakri Dynasty as well as the founder of Buriram.

An amazing beatific monument, the photos do not do it justice, stop and see it, best time would be at dusk when the light shines on the glass and as the sun sets the lights of the Monument come on. There is a small vafe with outdoor seating on the northwest corner of the circle and there is parking too.

I visited Chang Arena for a crucial match between Buriram and Chiang Rai, where a victory would have secured the league title. However, an equalizer in the dying minutes postponed the celebrations. Despite that disappointment, there was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the game with both teams playing some impressive football. Spending only 70 baht to watch such an exciting match was excellent value for money.
Great day trip. We went to see the Buriram Castle. It is a very impressive compound. With lots to see and do. The castle was free. You could wander around pretty much at well.

Went there for the BIG match, v Chiang Rai. They could have tied up the league title with a win, but a late equaliser put the party on hold. Great atmosphere and some good football too from both sides. Best 70 baht I've spent in a long time.
