Long Set Resort is a charming hotel and resort located on Koh Rong Island in Cambodia. Accessible by a scenic two-hour speedboat ride from Sihanouk Ville town, this destination offers a great place to stay and even honeymoon. The staff are known for being super friendly and helpful, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. While the rooms are spacious and offer stunning views of the sea, some visitors noted that there were no TVs in the rooms.
Really great experience here. The room was comfortable with consistent hot water and good air conditioning. WiFi was generally pretty strong throughout the resort. Appreciated the beach towels and the loungers. Breakfast was a pretty decent buffet

Location amazing, directly in front of the beach between beautiful palm trees. Hotel keeps their beach clean
Friendly staff.
We had issue with our sink which did not get fixed. Pool did not look inviting. Gym has a great selection of training equipment but not in good condition. Hotel seems not to have recovered fully from covid times in general. But comparing to other hotels on the beachfront still one of the best options in my opinion

Booked 5 nights here for the end of our tour of Cambodia and was a bit nervous tbh having read some of the reviews. However, it turned out to be okay - just had to keep telling myself it was only 2 star, which is a fair rating. It must have been really nice when it first opened but clearly hasn't had much investment since. We had a twin room which was okay but just remember to take plenty of mosquito repellent and bite cream - we got loads of bites in the room which when we mentioned to the reception they gave us a large can of insecticide, but at least it did the trick. Furniture in the room was a bit tired and one of the mattresses was old. The industrial-look in the bathroom could be improved with a lick of paint. The pools and gardens were good and the restaurant wasn't bad either. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The location is right on the beach which was brilliant and it's kept clean by the staff, which unlike other parts of Long Set beach which were covered in trash. It is close to the pier however, which meant it was a bit noisy with the ferries and speed boats dropping people off. Don't bother with the little street of restaurants nearby, the food was not great and we got sick from one of them. Head up the beach to Beach Walk Resort if you want to eat somewhere nice.

Just re-opened, this is right next to a pier, so no walking long distance ir taking another boat to reach it. They have a clean beach front property with lawn chars, hammocks and 2 swings. Beach is quiet,

Anywhere else i probably would have given the hotel a 3.5, but having visited a lot of the other options on the island, i think this is probably the best resort in terms of price to quality, and what you get.
It needs some improvements, such as old toilets in the rooms, only hot water no cold water in the shower, gym renovation, food could be slightly better.
However the staff, the beach, proximity to the boats, and price make up for it all.
Would recommend!

Louise and her staff were amazing and helpful. They made our honeymoon experience so beautiful. The beach is the best we’ve seen on the island. Great value for money.

Service is good and friendly. We had an issue with the shower and it was fixed within hours.
Spacious rooms, ask to be away from the pool if you want complete quietness. Breakfast was good. Main issue was bedbugs, got dozens of bites at night.
Hotel has a lovely private beach which sometimes gets busy, partially due to people not from the hotel using the beach beds.
The restaurant is overpriced but there are several other restaurants a few minutes walk from the hotel.

So peaceful! On the most beautiful beach ever with a luxurious shower, fantastic service, and amazing dogs! One of the dogs is a lab that if you say excitedly "want to go to the ocean?" she will lead you to the water and when she gets tired of swimming she lets you hold her. There's also an unforgettable boat tour they started when we were there, the bioluminescent plankton were plentiful and it was amazing. Staff is wonderful, can't recommend this place enough!

Nice place and good food ,
The beach was so beautiful
Helpful staff and very friendly
And any kind of services like massage , scooter for rent to ride around the island , waterfall , other beaches to visit and main villages to see of lifestyle from local people in general or from a different country in particular,
Really feel like different things and more experienced in that aspect of it,
Thank you

Amazing amazing amazing! Couldn't have been happier with this accommodation. Right on the beach. Rooms were the best we've stayed at in Cambodia, beds very comfy! Attentive staff, buffet breakfast was fantastic, can also have omelets cooked in front of you. Clean, well maintained and well priced for such a beautiful island

Very nice hotel while staying in Koh Rong. Staff super friendly and helpful. Amazing view of the sea although it gets a lot of rubbish every day caused by the currents. It is literally like paradise. The room is very nice and big but it's missing a TV. At night there's no entertainment or anything else to do around but there's bars within walking distance. The breakfast is missing a few options, especially for vegetarians but considering that's an island is fair enough. The food in the restaurant is not great and expensive but there's plenty of great options around!
I would definitely go back to the same hotel if I was on the island.

It's so nice but I wish they had a nice discount for residence due to Abit expensive . Other way! They have free breakfast with several things and free pick up and return by speed boat for free even I go only with my wife. But at that time khmer people had only me and my wife . You should booking first while when I go they just have 1 room less

Tbh I have very mixed feelings. It's a beautiful setting. Beautiful beach, plenty of sun loungers. Nice swings. There are 2 nice pools but few sun loungers. The room is ok but it takes 2 to lock the door. Breakfast is not good. We're vegan and they have no milk alternatives. So it's fruit, dry toast or the usual rice or noodles. All the supposed hot breakfasts are cold
Overall disappointing and not worth the money

1. Sliding room door has huge gap to wall, so mosquitos fill the room all night. Worst sleep I have had in 10+ yrs. 2. Wifi is crap, they have not put enough routers, so the signal is too weak at the rooms at the back on 2nd floor. 3. Gym is dirty, badly maintained, main weights machines are broken, showers have rusty hooks, this is all easy low cost stuff to repair. 4. Hot water doesn't work sometimes for more than a day. 5. The price $100 to $150 per night! is a complete rip off for this quality (3 to 4 times the price of anything similar in Cambodia). This is not a 5 star resort, it's a rustic wooden restaurant on the beach with standard type rooms, an ok pool (which also looks old , dirty broken tiles, badly maintained showers and other small details)... The real value is $30 to $50 for these kind of rooms in Cambodia.

Restaurant right on the beach for breakfast. If you ask, chef will make Vegan options. Lots of options for different foods a few minutes away. Busy over NY but attentive and local staff and manager building good relations with customers. Thank you.

Unfortunately we stayed here for a week.
Would not recommend it to anyone, at least not for the price we paid (expecting a luxury resort). The place is rundown and falling apart. The toilets don't flush, there's no hot water, the whole resort has blackouts multiple times a day and the breakfast is terrible. We received towels with stains and holes in them, had to specifically ask for new toilet paper when it ran out instead of room service refilling it. To add salt to the wound, most of the staff are rude and everything is insanely overpriced compared to the rest of the island.
What more can I say? We were misled by the other reviews and wanted to share an honest and realistic opinion of the place to hopefully save others from our unfortunate experience.
The only two positive things I can mention about the hotel are the location and the fact that they provide two bottles of water every day.

Had a Christmas BBQ buffet here, we had a table at 8pm but they started to clean the buffet at 9pm.
They told us it was unlimited time.
The staff wasn't also very friendly,
We had a steak and it took 15 minutes to get some knives, our steak was already cold.
For the price I payed I expected way more.

Amazing small hotel with extreme helpful and friendly staff. Always with a big smile. Enjoyed being there for three nights. Tasty food, good cocktails (had a negroni and it was perfect). Next to the pier and to some good small restaurants. Would highly recommend this place. Be aware of the sand fleas in the evening. Very itchy! (This goes for every beach on the island)
Sok San Beach Resort is a tranquil and secluded beach retreat that offers comfortable and laid-back accommodations. The resort boasts stunning gulf views, an outdoor bar, and excellent dining options. The serene environment provides the perfect escape from busy lifestyles, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. Travelers recommend staying for a couple of nights to fully enjoy the peaceful ambiance.
very quite beach!
lovely bungalow beach front!
Superb is the staff: we mistake to do reservations on booking.com (we mistake month 😞😀) and they change without penalty.
The day after we ask to leave 2 days before (rain) and the give back money!

I enjoy my trip here very well. The environment is nice and quiet which is perfect to relax your soul from the exhausted busy life style. Definitely, recommend you to stay a couple of nights. BTW, if you are dropped off at the Sok San Village, you will have to walk around 10 minutes. It would be perfect if the resort also pick up service from the drop off point.

Incredible beach and sea. It's a hidden gem. No people, white sand, sky-blue water. If I'm the owner of this resort, I'd take care a bit more of it. There was a lot of garbage on the tables by the sunbeds and also on the beach.
We spent here 3 days and there was no WiFi...
Breakfast was delicious! Lunch was average and expensive compare to other places in the village.

One star for the hotel’s restaurant.

We stayed at Sok San Beach Resort for 5 nights this last month and really liked the place. Our room - we actually booked one of the "Family Rooms" was very spacious and - while a bit rustic - equipped with everything we needed. When we arrived the staff at first had to search for quite some time to find our reservation in the system (that part was a little unsettling after a long day of travel to get to this island hotel). But after this initial 'hick-up' they really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The beach in front of the hotel is pristine, the water dreamy-turquoise blue ... just like in a travel brochure! Breakfast buffet was okay, it was nice that they had an "omelette bar" with staff preparing your order right in front of you. And for lunch/dinner - if you didn't want to have all meals at the hotel itself - there were plenty of other good restaurants in nearby Sok San Village, to keep it interesting. All in all, we would definitely recommend Sok San Resort to anyone traveling to Koh Rong island. It's a very good choice.

Although the beach is great, sok san beach resort has really basic rooms. During the rainy season it's 15 dollars behind and 20 dollars the bungalows with sea view. The people that run the place are kind and polite. The restaurant is quite expensive and the food portions are quite small. Note that in the restaurant there provides refill bottled water for free.

Very well located resort which is accessible by their private ferry at "The drop off" which can be found near Sihanoukville with price of 20 usd per person ONE WAY. Rooms are well situated, big enough for a couple and offer quite nice terrace. Really bad thing about the rooms is the incredible smell ! Bed sheets, towels, pillows and blankets smell like a mold ! Wifi in resort is very unstable so it will work for few mins and other few mins it wont work at all so don`t plan any important online business calls there. Price for everything there is higher so expect to pay more for everything. Food and drinks mainly. Staff is very friendly, helpful and polite. We got welcome drinks upon arrival which was really refreshing and they helped us with the luggage to the room really 5star for them. Sok San beach is the best beach of whole Koh Rong island. We traveled over whole koh rong including coconut beach, Koh Toch, Palm Beach Bungalow opposite to Song Saa private island and there really is rubish everywhere. Sok san is the cleanest and best beach they have there. Don`t try to hike anywhere from there because its really far from anything at all (expect the village right next to the resort). Before you get to anything you will have to get through many kilometers in burning heat, I know what i talk about we accidentaly hiked from there up to Coconut beach.

Way too expensive for what you get. It has lots of potential but the value for money isn't there. The rooms are very basic and every time you walk it creeks, same goes with the bed, it creeks when you move an inch and it's hard. The door isn't fully sealed so we had to block the gaps to stop mosquitos from coming in using plastic bags. We also sprayed them with insect repellent. We didn't have an issue with them but others might. There is hot water, aircon and a fridge which great as some others on the island don't have these. The fridge is kinda loud so we unplugged it at night. Wifi really sucks there (works fine at other venues on the island). Breakfast is average but if you're paying so much to stay there i would expect to at least have real coffee, not instant. The restaurant is super expensive so we never ate there other than the included breakfast. The most disappointing thing about our stay there though is the garbage on the beach. It's not the hotels fault and staff work all day to try to keep it clean but everyone stays at this place to swim in the beautiful water on their private beach. It's beautiful only up until 1-2pm and then the rubbish comes in and it becomes gross and not swimmable unless you want to swim in a dumpster. One of the days we didn't swim at all as it wasn't clean which sucked... I wouldn't stay there again unless it was around $50 per night as that's what we think it's worth. If you do stay there and the beach is dirty you can try walk to the right when facing the beach as it might be cleaner up there.

We stopped here for food and a coffee. The staff were brilliant and friendly, however, we were not impressed with paying full price for the 'pad thai'. We are vegetarian so asked for it without prawns or shrimps. The menu said it had veggies and tofu but we were served plain noodles for $10. We asked if we get a reduction in price because it didn't come with anything, not even the tofu or veggies, but they said they couldn't reduce the price. We are staying on long set beach and you can get a veggie pad Thai, loaded with egg and veggies for $3. I don't mind paying more when you get more but this was plain noodles served on a fancy plate.
I had an ice coffee and that was delicious. The people next to us also had pizza which looked good (we were not offered the pizza menu but as vegetarians would have happily had pizza given the choice). Please consider offering more veggie options and please don't serve plastic straws- resorts should be offering cardboard, metal or bamboo re usable straws. Thanks!

The resort is right next to the beach, with a dock going into the ocean. There are chairs near the beach for easy access. The ocean is clear and appears blue-green. Breakfasts are very tasty there, but water is overpriced. They provide extra towels if one asks for them, but does not provide cleaning for the rooms. This is bad because some people are swimming once, maybe even twice, a day, and will most likely track large amounts of sand in. The air conditioners only worked at night. During the day, outside of the room is cooler than inside of it. This is because despite the hot temperatures, there is a cool breeze flowing from the ocean. There is a large expanse of sand between the resort and the beach, which is perfect for playing games on. Overall, the resort is a good place to go if you are looking for a quick getaway to an island and are willing to set a slightly higher budget for the trip.

Needs renovations, electricity is not stable (AC), rooms are big but because of the wood they need to be maintained better and we had quite a few insects in the rooms. Overall, very nice people and beautiful beach but the facilities should be renewed.

The experience was great! Bathrooms are a little small in the chalets so you're forced to shower with the toilet In front of you, the staff are all very friendly and the food was amazing for the most part, they did have a shortage of a lot of things but they made up for it! The location is overall great though the wifi is a little slow and not reaching the room I got, overall though I would say I enjoyed the stay

Went in for a drink and maybe food while exploring around the island. They don't even have fresh coconut, or any fruit shakes. Asked about soda water... Price is $2.5 (3 times the normal price). Moody attitude and this place is a rip off . Avoid.

We spent an afternoon enjoying the amazing beach and restaurant at Sok San Beach Resort. This beach can only be described as an island paradise with crystal clear water and a beautiful sandy shore. After swimming, we had drinks at the Sok San Beach Resort. The service was friendly and helpful. Overall a great place to visit on Koh Rong.

I had such a bad experience over this resort, but main problem not about a location and environment. It about management their manager doesn’t know how to serve a customer with manner and such a attitude. Every question I made he doesn’t bother to answer properly, not even a single look at me!! In this hospitality field the property management should educate properly and professional due to a resort costing not hostel. I hope the owner of this resort watch out this issue.

Cindy Brown — Google review
For the price we paid (almost 100usd/night) we were very disappointed with the quality of the rooms, food, and service, despite the reviews. However, after driving around the island we have to say that Sok San is indeed the best beach (clean and quiet) on the island. Do come here only if you’re prepared for a very basic room for sleeping. The beach is the only highlight of the place. The best way to enjoy it is to rent a scooter from Koh Touch, and ride here yourself after getting off the ferry as everything in the resort is overpriced. More so than other more expensive resorts! For New Year’s Eve dinner the restaurant only had the “gala dinner” option available which cost 52usd/pax. Like many other guests, we walked out to the village for dinner instead. Food is subpar - do not pay for breakfast if that is an option (food is served cold and selection is extremely limited). You can walk about 5-10 minutes towards Sok San village where there are other resorts and local eateries to dine at.
During our stay in Cambodia in November 2018 we went to Koh Rong and booked a day trip with Adventure Adam. What a perfect idea! We went with two boats for snorkeling, barbecue, "diaper drinking", plankton swimming and much more. It has been a fun day that also included many things we learned from Adam and Domenic (team member) about the local culture wildlife and nature. Perfect combination of fun, activity and education when travelling. You can also see that Adam is deeply connected with the local people and does many good things to help the local communities. Really a great experience, we totally recommend it!

Fun day trip with Denis and co. Brought to some great beaches but some don't have a lot of shade so bring cover-ups and suncream to prevent burning. Has a bit of a party boat atmosphere so skip if that's not your thing. Snorkelling was super fun and equipment provided. Fishing was fine, had two opportunities to fish since the first stop didn't have enough fish and a few people managed to catch some at the second stop so that was exciting. Lunch on the beach was rice, some salad, chicken and a fried egg plus the fish that was caught and some veg soup. There's no facilities on the boat and the only actual toilet stop is at the village which is one stall for men...just something to bear in mind. Swimming with the plankton was the highlight for me. Wouldn't repeat the trip (because of seasickness) but glad I did it.

We had an absolutely amazing tour. Adam was really nice and helpful and his knowledge is profound. Even though the visibility in the water wasn't that great and it rained for a bit he did his best to offer us the best experience he could.
I would definitely recommend the Pirates! The Beach Bar at Coconut Beach is kept simple, but you can have a lot of fun there with the staff :-) I would also recommend to eat a Pizza there, it tastes really good! The Quiz Night is also very funny. I have been to the Beach Bar every Night for almost a Week and I really enjoyed it, I will definitely come back! And of course you should take the Boat Tour with the Pirates. It might not be the cheapest on the Island, but its definitely the best. So it's up to you if you want to save money or have a great day with a cool crew.
Hopefully see you soon my friends:-)

P out with Don and Michael and it was certainly a great experience. Views were amazing. The village had the cutest little puppies who were very friendly. Food could use a little bit more variety but the drinks were free-flowing all day. The guides were very knowledgeable and safety-conscious. We lucked out and were able to see bioplankton during a full moon (with some clouds overcasting). Highly recommended if you're spending a 2-3 days on the island!

My son and I completed our scuba diver certification with KR Dive. The check in and education process was efficient and clear and our instructor was super diligent and safety conscious.
The dives themselves were shallow and easy because of the course we were doing and the conditions but we still saw some great sea life and coral.
There are some other Chinese based businesses also in the village and I would stay very clear, they have zero respect for the marine life or coral + I’m unsure if they are linked to any credible certification.
All in all a great experience!

Glowing experience! Couldn’t recommend this Padi approved dive center enough!
Halan and Onur are amazing Padi instructors! There were 5 of us and 2 were quite nervous and their calm, professional, straight forward approach allowed everyone to feel confident and have a wonderful dive! They took the time to point out things underwater and then explained what they were when we surfaced. The tanks are heavy and quite awkward for me, but everyone was there to help in anyway they could.
The Koh Rong Dive center was easy to communicate with when making reservations, once in Cambodia they were able to help us coordinate transportation to/from area, and the dive master brought a camera down and for a reasonable amount $ offered you photos of your dives- which was awesome !!

Me and my boyfriend booked our diving refresher here as we had both not dived since completing our Padi in 2022. For just €10 you can get a basic refresher and go over key skills in the shallow water by the pier before heading out on a dive. I really enjoyed my dive and felt at ease with Anne, as a nervous diver, this experience helped to boost my confidence for future dives. We dived the coral gardens site with depth of 14.5 metres.
Only improvement would be a little bit more help on setting up the equipment and a more detailed refresher. Apart from that, an amazing experience and would recommend to dive here - good prices too 🫶🏼

I would’ve liked some more information on the refresher, that I paid for. I was just hoping for a bit more of a briefing and some info to remind me of what I learnt on my PADI course. Did 6 (+1) fun dives with Jake and Anne and really enjoyed them! I could even jump in on my friends last dive of his OWC as a Bonus dive. The team is really professional and fun and they have some great dive sites right on their doorstep!

I just completed my open water course at Bubbles Up and cannot recommend this dive centre enough. The staff are lovely and experienced, along with great equipment and dive spots. Anna, my instructor worked with my pace of learning and made diving enjoyable and calm. If you want a personable and fun experience, bubbles up is the place.

Thank you so much Anna & Manu ! We had such a great experience and good memories at Bubbles Up. After one try dive with Anna discovering all the beautiful corrals around, I decided to take lessons and get certificated "Open Water Diver". I had 3 days of training in french with Manu and he was perfect to teach me all the essential skills I need and to be more confident in any situation. He also showned me all the incredible specimens underwater and there are tons of them in this area. The last day, I dived with my partner who now share with me his passion for diving.

Did a “try dive” with Anne and she was WONDERFUL! I was a bit nervous/scared as deep water and being under water for a long time scares me, but Anne was great. She thoroughly explained everything both on land and in the water (did lots of practicing with the equipment so we were prepared) and allowed me to go at my own pace. She was so laid back and even held my hand through the first part as to help calm my nerves. Throughout the entirety of the session she made sure I was okay and kept checking on me and adjusting my equipment. If you’re a first time diver this place is the best!!! Seriously 100/10 recommend!!!

Big thanks to Anne! My perception on diving in Cambodia has forever changed and will definitely return! Anne is very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and super funny! There is never a dull moment on the boat (even in water)! Absolutely 5stars dive shop!

If you’re looking to fun dive or learn how to scuba dive then look no further than Bubbles Up! Manny and Anne are brilliant! Very professional and knowledgeable with some excellent dive sites right on their door step! Thank you both for a great day on the reefs✌🏼
Really nice beach not far from the pier! They have set up a cool atmosphere for everybody to enjoy a good day at the beach. They regularly organize techno parties here and the tend to be quite full. The prices vary from 10usd if you purchase the ticket in advance and 12,50usd if you buy the ticket right before accessing the beach.

I’m reviewing just the bar and party life.
Came here for NYE, was able to purchase my ticket early and if you were early than you could get a free tank top. If you showed the flyer you could get a free beer which was nice that there was a lot of freebies.
If you like psychedelic music then this is your place to be.
I came early which there was nobody. Thankfully I had a stamp where I can go out and come back in.
The only downside to this place was that drinks and food were pretty expensive. I actually went outside to go drink and come back in.
They make you purchase tickets instead of using cash. It’s a good system. They don’t have plastic cups and they make you pay for a reusable cup, but you get your money back. That was interesting.
They ran out of ice and told us to go to the other bar that they had. It’s good that there’s two bars on the area, because there were a lot of people.
They had a fire show, but it didn’t last very long. Their bathroom is terrible and make sure you have a friend to hold the door for you. I wish there was a light bulb too. You cannot see ANYTHING.
People don’t come until like 11PM and it stays open all night long. Somebody told me until like 5AM.
It’s not for me, but I do recommend it to those that enjoy this type of music. It was nice to chat with others.

Stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed it. Very laid back and slow pace of life so you just gotta go with things. It's a nice short walk from town and the restaurant has some quite good food. Only thing to be aware of is that Wednesdays and Fridays they have parties that are pretty loud, but the music is very good.
asa Rubin-crump — Google review
Dank bungalows, Extremely low key until they host a party. Quiet(besides rave night). Nice beach. Extremely helpful staff. P.s they generally have fire toys being used at the party's which is sick. Would def stay here again. Thanks for helping this lost castaway find his way.
Brett Hardman — Google review
This review is for the bar, not the place to sleep. It's a nice bar, bit of a hipster touch and a bit further from the main village which makes it a quiet place for resting or a great place for full moon parties. The party is 10$ but for the music I thought it was a bit overpriced. When we were there there was also a movie showing
Wouter Ligtenberg — Google review
Overpriced rates. Private rooms were more semi-private, since only a thin wooden wall seperates the different rooms, leaving the ceiling almost open so that you heard your neighbors very well... Fan didn't work. Mosquito net had many holes. No water from the tap, we were unable to shower for 2 days. Run by arrogant turkish hippies who don't seem to care.
Kevin N. — Google review
The police beach party was really mediocre for a $10 party. The equipment turned off for 15 minutes around 2:00 and sometimes the volume went down unintentionally. Toilets are also very disgusting, but the stage and the decoration were on point.

Great place to chill and forget about whole world. We spent here 3 nights, one of them was Full Moon Party and the party was very laud and very positive. We watched moon eclipse from here so it will always stay in my memory. I would definitelly come back!
Nest Beach Club is a laid-back seaside resort that features cozy dorms with balconies and tropical forest vistas, as well as a pub and restaurant. It's an excellent location for socializing, with a lovely ambiance throughout. The dorm rooms are adequate in terms of comfort. Although the food is not particularly good and can be costly, it can be more genuine and affordable if you take a short 15-minute stroll to the primary pier.
This place was way better than what ppl say, the staff was so nice and the food surprisingly well each time! The location is great and right by the beach! Drinks aren’t too expensive and there’s something social going on every night, which is so fun. The dorm beds are comfortable and private while you’ve got lots of space both in and underneath the bed (you can have two big backpacks plus smaller bags in just one locker) I’ve had a great time at my two-night stay and so has my friends!
Signe Konggaard — Google review
Great social hostel. Really liked the vibe here. Dorm rooms are comfortable enough. The food isn’t up too much and on the more expensive side, you can eat much more authentically and economically a short 15 minute walk to the main pier. There is a rather strong smell that comes from the shower room from time to time. Overall I was expecting much worse given a lot of the negative reviews I read beforehand. Had a pleasant enough stay. The beach directly in front of the hostel is amazing.

I have not stayed here. Ate here a couple of times when travelling to Koh Rong. Food is absolutely delicious. Generous in portion and decent price. Lovely chill vibes right by the beach. This is the most happening hostel in the area.
I highly recommend their sandwiches, burgers and roasts 🍗🐔.

Place to be on Koh Rong. The beach is incredible. The staff is very nice and will help you with all your questions. But most of all, they organize the Nestival here each Saturday. Its a small festival where you play games against each other and have a big party on the beach. Ive met good people here and it was actually hard to leave. So if you go here, you will definitely have a good time :)

Cool beach club great food lovely younger crowd cool tunes in the day drinks cheap and lots of quality in the decor. I’d highly recommend coming here. They have accommodation which I heard is very good !! Party on 10/10

This is one of the most disgusting places I have ever been. If I could rate 0.5 I would. I understand that this is a party hostel, but there should be some rules in place to make sure it's a comfortable stay and a clean stay. First off, we booked a female only dorm and got chucked in with a mixed dorm. The staff was rude to most guests and did not seam interested in helping clients check in or out, one of the staff even screamed at a guest that was trying to check out in the allocated check out time, saying that she wants to leave too early and that she is making problems for them. This is not how staff should treat their guests. The bathrooms where atrocious! So dirty and not kept clean at all!! Urine, puke and menstrual flueds left on seats and floors in the toilet/showers. Absolutely disgusting and unhygienic. This will cause deceases to spread and illnesses. Some of the guests had no respect for others who where trying to sleep, turning lights on and chatting extremely loudly throughout the night. There should be rules to prevent this. They advertise AC in the rooms, well 1 AC definitely did not cool down the room. It was insanely hot inside. It did not even feel like an AC was on. This place has a wonderful location and lots of potential, but needs some new rules and kinder staff.
I would NOT recommend this place.

Loved my time here! Been travelling for a while and found Nest to be one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! Not sure why other reviews mention poor staff, as I found everyone I met to be friendly and attentive. The parties Nest throw are fantastic, great DJs, competitively-priced drinks and so much fun! Nestival on Saturdays is wild and had so much fun playing beach games.
Any problems with dorms, like water shortages were dealt with quickly. It’s situated on a stunning beach, and backs onto a jungle, which gives it a really cool vibe. There are mammals and insects in the jungle, but not many, and hardly surprising given the location!!
Would highly highly recommend Nest! It’s the best place to go on the island for parties, to meet other backpackers and have a great time!!

We really enjoyed this hostel, we stayed in a 10 bed dorm. Rooms were cleaned every few days so sand did accumulate but being a beach hostel that’s expected. The showers were cold (which was nice after a day sunbathing) but only one in the room worked so due to queues we had to shower in the communal area a few times. Beds were comfortable, curtains were included for privacy and lockers (although some were bent and broken but they still closed). The hostel had activities on every day which was good and sociable. The music was loud at night and people were stumbling in gone 4am but also to be expected as a “party” hostel. The room we were in was away from the music so we didn’t see this too much of a problem other than drunk people getting in and shouting. The food was pricey but it was nice and convenient as the town was about 15 minutes walk through the jungle. Hammocks, white sand beach on your doorstep and volleyball to play. You could rent water items such as snorkels / kayaking if you wanted and also transport. Overall a good stay, only issue to note is the toilet / sewer seeped through into the rooms and some nights were really bad where you could not ignore the small - not for the light hearted!

Honestly the most awful experience of my 5months of traveling around Asia. Employees especially the expatriates and receptionist were undeniably rude, cheeky and extremely unhelpful. The room I was in was far, right at the back and had a dead cockroach sitting in my room for the entire three day stay I was there as well as an awful stench. The stay could of been manageable but it was the etiquette of the staff which made it so unpleasant.

We had a great time on Koh Rong - nestival was fun but if you’re looking for food go to the place next door - WHITE PEARL BEACH! All the local workers were so so nice! One blonde European girl was not so nice when she tried to convince us to pay for tickets to the events even though we were staying there so beware of her antics. Overall Koh Rong is amazing!!

I absolutely loved my stay at Nest. Amazing hostel with great events going on every day, really friendly staff and very clean dorms! I originally booked for 4 nights and ended up staying 11 as I fell in love with it! Nestival exceeded expectations and was by far my favourite day I’ve had since travelling for the last 4 months. 10/10 would recommend

Nice beach, but… my room had a rat. The shower leaked into my locker and soaked my stuff. I told the staff multiple times until nothing was done and I left to stay somewhere else. Staff are also very cliquey/unapproachable/rude/useless. The staff also kept coming into my dorm to use the shower because all the others were broken. The food is bad. Don’t stay here. Stay somewhere else and go here for nestival and then leave. I wonder how much money the owner makes whilst their hostel is honestly DISGUSTING.

First of all, it is very difficult to get there.
Secondly, we arrived at 14:00 which is the check-in time, our room was not yet ready because according to the hostel management there was a party the night before and people didn't clear their beds, which shouldn't be my problem and certainly shouldn't come at my expense. The room was only ready at 19:00 in the evening which is a very, very unreasonable delay and the only compensation we were offered was a glass of beer at the hotel's expense, an inadequate and insufficient compensation. This hostel is a twenty minute walk in the forest from the central area with the restaurants and markets, it is actually in an isolated area so there are no other options to eat other than the restaurant in the hostel.
The food was not good, always arrived at least after 40 minutes, small portions and simply not successful.
The hostel itself is beautiful with many pleasant and inviting seating areas, but the rooms themselves are less pleasant. My room had an unpleasant smell of mildew.
The hostel is very expensive compared to the prices in Cambodia, and the beds are very, very wide compared to a dorm bed, you can comfortably accommodate 2 people in a bed. My friend and I booked 2 beds and at check out we found out that we could have share a bed and it would have saved us a lot of money and it's a shame they didn't tell us that. The showers are in the same cell as the toilets, so the toilets are always wet and unpleasant to use.
In conclusion, there is a good atmosphere of young people and parties there, but the basic conditions there are not so good, I would recommend sleeping in the central area and arriving at the hostel on foot in the evening to party.

Whole experience was really unique and memorable! The food is insanely good and the rooms have pretty big beds which is a nice change from many other hostels. The beach is a lovely vibe during the day and night and they have activities going on every night.
Alisha Michael — Google review
My friends and I only spent 3 nights here, but we wish it could have been longer! The hostel is right on the beach front, and a 20/25 minute walk from the main town. The dorms were decent with cold and warm showers, large beds and AC during the night. Every evening there is a different social event which creates a great vibe around the place. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Koh Rong!
Harvey Eyriey — Google review
Avoid staying here if at all possible! The hostel is quite far from the pier with no shuttle provided by the hostel so you either have to walk 45 mins in the jungle or pay $3 for a tuktuk and then have to walk even further with NO signs guiding you through the jungle.
Staff weren’t very hospitable and it was overall very expensive.
We asked reception if they could call a tuktuk for us to get back to the pier to which they said they weren’t able to do that so the only options were to pay them $5 for a boat to the pier or again walk through the jungle/water.
Lights weren’t fully working in the rooms and the beds were covered in sand before even stepping foot into them.
Overall, left with a bad taste and would not recommend.
Ela Treloar — Google review
The way to the hostel is an adventure if you arrive from the harbor by scooter. The hostel is designed more for parties, but it was always very quiet in the dorms. The food was always good as were the drinks (always a lot of alcohol in the drinks). The beach is fantastic, the staff are super friendly and help wherever they can. The only big negative point are the mattresses in the dorm. The mattress had already started to mold, which caused some health concerns. Otherwise I would come back immediately! Thanks!

Surprisingly decent food for a hostel beach club! Lovely atmosphere, and great staff. Cute kittens roaming around. Perfect location on the beach. Highly recommended for the day, and people said it was great to stay there too.

I honestly had the best time here!
The location is 10/10, waking up in the jungle and then a short walk down to the bar and the beach. The beach is white sand and blue sea!
The service of the staff at check in was great, I asked about where to head around the island and was given top info. Would highly recommend the sandwiches too.
If you like partying, would recommend staying for Nestival!

Social hostel with a lot of events. However if you’re looking for a place to stay I wouldn’t recommend this. The most shabby bathrooms I’ve experienced during my backpacking. The outlet to charge things next to the bed didn’t work. There’s no signal either in the rooms which also is a bit annoying. You also hear some animals almost walking inside the roof above the beds. The beds however are big which is nice.

I can’t explain how amazing nest hostel is, from the outstanding staff to the factualities. What stands out is the location and the scenery along with the amazing events nest hold each week. I could safely say the best hostel in Cambodia possibly Asia.
Matthew Szadkowski-mason — Google review
The beach is nice and the hostel has a nice communal area. The beers are cheap and the food is good, however we were told that there are rats in the kitchen. There are also rats in the room and the lockers are on the floor, which meant the rats were eating food in people’s bags. The rooms don’t have a key, 3 people got money stolen out of their bags in a week. You can’t get phone signal or WiFi in the rooms. We left our clothes out to dry on the washing line and we woke up to find that someone had sprayed the clothes with dirty water when cleaning the path. The showers are dirty and mouldy. It feels very cliquey and most of the staff were not very friendly and approachable. I would never recommend this hostel to anyone. If you want to go to Nestival stay somewhere else.

Visited here everyday whilst staying at a nearby hostel. Nice food and drinks. Great vibe, really good beach club.

Nest beach is a great social hostel and a great way to meet people or have a bit of fun especially at nestival. However, the rooms are pretty poor. We had a mouse in our room which chewed through some of our other dorm mate’s stuff. The bathrooms are always wet and you’re not given a key to your room so it runs off trust for the most part. I will say the staff were very kind and compensated us for our negative experience but that was after a few days of complaints and they told us it was our fault that we left the door open when the cleaners were the only ones doing so. Stay here if you can tolerate it for the price otherwise I would recommend staying at nest jungle or fat monkey just 100m off the beach.

After our third time back at nest since 2019 we thought it was defo time to write a review - what a class hostel, the staff, location and vibes are UNMATCHED we always have so much fun. It’s located right on the most gorgeous beach, there’s events and happy hours / drink specials on every night and nestivals every Saturday which are always insane. Rooms and beds are so much more spacious than dorms we’ve stayed in other hostels while travelling. You can get here in 15 mins walking from Longset pier or a tuk tuk from the pier which takes u to Nest Jungle and is a 2 min walk down a path to the main nest bar/reception area. They also do a sick boat trip throughout weekdays which I’d defo recommend. Overall would HIGHLY recommend staying here and experiencing nest

Go there to party but I would not recommend staying. There are rats, showers barely work and staff is not friendly. We tried addressing these issues and we were lied to telling us that the rooms with rats had been dealt with by closing the dorms for 2 days which had not been the case. Scroll down to read other reviews because I seriously doubt some of these are written by actual backpackers who have stayed there.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the best hostel I’ve been to! A quick 10 minute walk from longset pier. Beautiful views, lovely staff and the coolest events/parties. Nestival is a must! It was so convenient having our dorms close enough to the party, when we wanted to go to bed, there was no need to walk too far. The boat tour was so fun - packed with snorkeling, a quick visit to sanloem (the neighbouring island) and drinks while the sun set. The beds were double beds, so many showers to use and we were able to lock our dorms when we left. The beef lok lak was the best I’ve had in Cambodia. I highly recommend a stay at Nest, it feels like home away from home 🩵
The food is really good, very clean, good ingredients which is hard to find on island, 420happy hours, good music with beautiful views from bar terrace! Jungle burger probably was the best one around south east Asia.
Also u will have great care and service, always welcoming and treated as a friend.
Big up to Jungle bar, best place in Koh Rong to eat and chill away from the noise in the village with lovely cat and two friendly dogs

We came here based on the reviews and were certainly not disappointed. Some of the best food I have had in cambodia. Richie and his wife do an amazing job. Fantastic ingredients. The best pizzas!!! Delicious spaghetti and meatballs. Amazing range of food and the best service!! We came back on our last day for an English breakfast, and it was sublime. THE BEST WESTERN FOOD ON KOH RONG!!!! 🥰🤤
Wow wow wow. If I could give this 100 stars I would. This is the best western food we’ve had in Cambodia and feel so lucky that we just happened to get talking with Richie who invited us along to try the food and enjoy the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
I had the vegetarian sub roll (bread made fresh every day by Richie’s wife Oudom) with extra cheese which was soooooo tasty and my partner had the sloppy Joe pizza which “absolutely fxng incredible”. We also shared a mango smoothie which was super refreshing.
We also had the crispy onion rings which we can gladly say are the best onion rings we have EVER eaten. Definitely order these and ask for a side of onion gravy to go with them 🤤🤤🤤
The friendly puppies and kitties are so adorable and the view looking out to the sea is so peaceful. We could stay here all day.
Thank you Richie and Oudom for the great music, amazing food and your amazing hospitality! We will see you tomorrow 😝
