Windsor Riverfront Park is a beautiful narrow parkway that has been enhanced with various features to add to its charm. The park boasts of war memorials, picnic spots, paths for both pedestrians and cyclists, and stunning views of the Detroit skyline. It is an all-season destination as visitors can enjoy the unique beauty it offers in every season; from the superb views during summer nights to hearing the chorus of music created by ice floating on the river in winter.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
My family and I visited Windsor, Ont last summer (Aug 2021). The City did a great job beautifying the narrow parkway, adding little features such as war memorials, a water fountain rock garden with a superb views of Detroit skyline, and so on. Paths were wide enough for both pedestrians and cyclists to share. The best part was during the night.

As the sun sets, the scenery transforms into a breathtaking spectacle, making evenings particularly enchanting. Be sure to take a leisurely stroll and fully appreciate the unparalleled beauty of the surroundings—you won't regret it.

Liked the beauty and calmness of the park alongside the Detroit river with a view of Detroit downtown! The best place for walking and cycling in Windsor or doing photography. This is connected to other parks like sculptures park and flowers garden. There are plenty of parking spots too, so you can put it as a destination in the city and go sightseeing!

The riverfront is an iconic spot in Windsor and one of the best spots to spend time alone or with family in summers. The Detroit downtown is beautiful and gives a terrific background for photography lovers. With the ongoing Windsor carnival there is a size-able moving crowd in the evening. We spent time taking pictures and just enjoying the stellar views. Parking can be an issue on busy days but it is also easy to find street parking in general.

It's a pleasant park along the river where you can see Detroit on the opposite bank. There is a fee for the closest parking lot from here.
It looked like it would be a good place to have a picnic when it gets warmer.

I was visiting Windsor and decided to walk around downtown at sunset. It was a great experience. The waterfront at sunset looked stunning. I enjoyed the river front views.

Beautiful spot in Windsor. Perfect view of the Detroit skyline. A long stretch of a walk but most satisfying. Place is pretty calm and not crowded when we visited but locals say that it gets busy prior to sunset as it looks like a nice place to watch it. Lots of spots/attractions along the stretch and perfect view if the Ambassador Bridge as well.

Gorgeous place for a walk or bike ride day or night with the trail extending from the Ambassador Bridge all the way down to Hiram Walkers
Dieppe Gardens is a scenic park located on the riverfront. It boasts a pond with a waterfall, lovely gardens, memorials, picnic tables and benches for visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery. The park also features various sculptures along the water's edge, offering an excellent view of Detroit across the river. Whether you're looking for a peaceful walk or an outdoor workout with your family, Dieppe Gardens has something to offer everyone.
Beautiful park right on the waterfront. Great place to walk around with a number of sculptures along the water. Wonderful view of Detroit across the river. They have a number of picnic tables available as well to

Dieppe Gardens are named in memory of the many members of the Essex-Kent Scottish Regiment who lost their lives during the World War II landing at Dieppe, France in 1942. The park is heavily planted with brilliantly coloured annuals and perennials. It features many monuments, including monuments to the Canadian Army, Navy and Air Force.
For years, the property was used as a docking site by the Detroit-Windsor Ferry Company, and several cottages, retail stores, hotels and other businesses were established. In the late 1950s, these buildings were purchased and demolished by the City so that the site could be developed into a major riverfront park.
Highlights:
Waterfall and Fish Pond
Launch Site for Cruises
Peace Beacon
Amenities:
Benches
Concession
Monuments

The park is clean and feels safe during the day. Sometimes there are events. The day I went there was a Coast Guard ship to look at! There is a small park for children, with nearby benches so you can keep an eye on them. Great place to rollerblade, ride your bike, jog or walk your dog. Definitely worth a stroll.

Excellent park for biking, walking, and just pondering the greater questions of humanity such as the infamous Dieppe Raid in WWII, memorialized in this park. While the 1942 errors of Dieppe in northern France served to inform a greater victory during D-Day two years later, a present day visit provides an excellent vista to ponder the beautiful skyline of Detroit just across the river.

Great place to enjoy some great scenery while sitting on a bench. If you like walking this is also a great place to visit. Note that Fishing is NOT allowed. There were a few grassy areas so you could sit on the ground. I did notice several shady looking characters either sitting around or circling on their scooter. Overall, a great place to visit.

This park has ample parking space and convenient onsite washrooms. It has well-managed grounds that are truly picturesque. The vicinity also hosts numerous war or war victim monuments which add to the overall appeal of the place. One should definitely visit Jackson Park during peak season as it promises to be a delightful experience. A highly recommended location for all who are looking for a beautiful park to explore.
Absolutely beautiful during the holidays. Went with my mum for the first time this year and was pleasantly surprised with the light display, absolutely whimsical! And there were a couple food trucks near the entrance as well, and the public washrooms are quite clean.

This park is beautiful and highly recommend it. In the summer they have an amazing garden, great for pictures or just walking around. Last time I was there we noticed several families having professional pictures taken. In the winter they put on an amazing light display that you can walk around. 8/11/23: Absolutely gorgeous park. There's a lot to see and plenty of places to relax while enjoying the scenery. The flowering job in the main square area was exceptionally beautiful; I can tell a lot of work went into maintaining it. There were a lot of monuments to observe as well(quite a bit more than shown in the pictures), and it was nice to read some of the history surrounding them.
There's also a small splashpad and kid playground on the other side(that I neglected to get pics of =0(... )that is also very nice. The only downside is that to get to it, you either have to go under the bridge of Ouellette(if you're on the south end of the park), which isn't nicely developed(at least not yet) or drive to the other side(if you're on the northern end). But its not really that bad under the bridge part; just a bit of dirt road.

Enjoyed the Christmas lights at this park.
We went to Windsor for a weekend trip and stayed near the riverfront. We had planned to visit the Point Pelee National Park on Saturday entire day. We had some time to kill on Friday evening. Naturally we wanted to explore the city and restaurants. We stumbled upon this park while we were passing this area by seeing the lights display. We stopped by and had a tour. It was awesome.
Though it was cold bit still we toured the entire park and saw all the light displays. Took so many photos and enjoyed the crowd as well. Children will definitely enjoy this place and you can easily spend 2-4 hours here.
There were parking around the park and it was easy to find one. Once you enter the park you can plan how to cover the displays. The Christmas tree is definitely worth visiting. For children, you can even take the toy train which will give you a short tour. There are ample light displays and you will not get bored guaranteed.
Washrooms are there if you have to use and a lot of food courts were also there for quick food.
Definitely worth visiting during Christmas if you are in Windsor and all this for FREE.

Wow, a fantastic display. Formerly from Windsor, I live near Toronto. We saw something similar at the Botanical Gardens in Largo, Florida, but not as elaborate as Windsor. We found out through a video posted on Facebook.
Unfortunately we didn't know where to park our car. I had an elderly parent to escort and we walked from the Kennedy high-school parking lot far away. There was no direct entrance from the Kennedy campus. It was a challenging distance on a narrow sidewalk with many curbs and other tripping hazards.
This is great opportunity for Windsor tourism. Please work on the parking and you will get this perfect.

Everything is dying, even the trees in Queen's Garden. There's no water in the fountain and it's full of trash. What a waste of a beautiful park/garden. It reminds me of the year the city was on strike all over again 💔 the flowers I posted is literally the only flower bed in the whole garden where the flowers weren't rotted before they could even bloom!!
The Christmas Lights are such a beautiful family outing though.
Olde Walkerville Theatre is a versatile venue for live performances, offering top-notch sound and lighting. The Canadian Club Brand Centre in Windsor offers a historical and architectural tour of its main office building, complete with a basement speakeasy and lavish decor. Visitors can enjoy tastings after the tour, making it a must-visit for those interested in local history and spirits. However, it's important to note that the tour permanently ended in March 2017, but there's hope that corporate decision-makers may reconsider this decision in the future.

WARNING...Do not go unless you have tickets. We drove from various Detroit suburbs to take the early 11 AM tour on Saturday March 25th. We waited in the cold for the building to open with about 45 others. At the time the doors opened and about 20 were admitted a female employee stuck a sign on the wall that said the tour was full. Also that all the tours for the balance of weekend were full. Some people had purchased tickets in advance. They offered tickets for next Friday (the very last day tours would be given.) We had enough Canadian hospitality for the year, the staff employee was less than pleasant. Took our money back to Detroit and went to the Outdoor Adventure Center--it was a bargain and very well done.

The staff needs to do a better job at marking the trails. But the trails are so small no one can get lost. Worse case scenario you will end up in the parking lot and missed half your nature walk.

Fun! Less of a museum than a restoration workshop but that just made it all the more interesting. They had a disassembled WW2-era Lancaster bomber in the process of restoration as well as a Vickers Air Canada fright simulator circa 1960s you can plunk down in. Not a big space, but a fascinating one.

Our tour guide Keleen (think that was her name), was very friendly and interactive. The staff and persons working there were all friendly and tool time out of working on planes to chat with us. One highlight was meeting Ron,an ex pilot who has a plane in his honour on display. He was so amiable and you can see his passion and satisfaction from years in aviation.
The display areas were good and the "Bad Penny" story really resonated. Had to get the book. Excellent learning opportunity for teaching history if you are an educator as well.

Went with the kids for the first time, and we loved the tour! We learned so much about the airplanes used during the World War and the most inspiring stories on how the restoration of some of these airplanes is taking place by volunteers!
I highly recommend taking your kids here. They had so much fun with the simulators and also the gift shop has many options for the little ones to choose from.
There are plenty of free parking spaces outside.

Seemed quite expensive in terms of ticket costs vs the size of the museum and the things on display.
Had to wait for someone to get checked in and buy tickets to be able to get admission to the museum.
It took approximately 10 minutes for the receptionist to even let us know they will be with us shortly.
Didn’t expected that kind of unnecessary delay which I believe happened due to the short space, high ticket costs and the small passage they’ve made for the guests to enter the museum.
Not something I would recommend unless you want to see some old plane models

Small but great place. My wife and I showed up about 45 minutes before closing and they happily gave us a tour. I was skeptical of how fun a tour would be as I never took interest in aviation and this museum seemed insignificant, but the guides here are not your average guides, the history here does have significance, and the history here put tears in full grown men. The guides here know the history of not only aviation but deep knowledge of history and museums across the US and Canada. As you walk around, volunteers will be building planes in the center. You can tell that your guide isn't the typical museum guide who learned about the museum from textbooks. Simulators with advanced technologies for their day, souvenirs collected by pilots from around the world, affordable flights over scenic city & natural views, simulators that help visitors experience flight training, indoor and outdoor areas - really incredible history.
Thank you Larry.

We chose the Canadian Aviation Museum for a wedding rehearsal party on August 18th. It was amazing! The bride and groom were thrilled with the venue and the guests were excited about the unique wedding rehearsal idea. We began our event with drinks followed by a tour for our group. We had a family member who flew in the Lancaster bomber during the Second World War as a mid-upper gunner, so we were very interested in the Lancaster and the restoration project. It is also part of the reason we chose this venue. Dave, our guide took us behind the scenes to show us the restoration of the rear gunner turret and shared what that experience would have been like for the crew. After our tour we had dinner inside the hangar on a perfect summer evening with the hangar door open to the tarmac and three restored airplanes; the Harvard, the Chipmunk, and the Stearman on display. Later in the evening our guests were able to watch the pilots prepare the three planes and take off for a memorial flight. It was a very special evening for all of us and throughly enjoyed by all. The volunteers at the museum ensured the entire event was a tremendous success. A huge thank you to Mary and all of the volunteers at Canadian Aviation Museum for an amazing evening. I encourage anyone looking for a unique venue for any large or small private, family or corporate event to consider the Canadian Aviation Museum.

The hotel Caesars Windsor is a luxury property with modern facilities, such as an indoor pool and spa, a casino, and restaurants. It is located just across the Detroit River from downtown Detroit, making it easy to explore both cities on your trip.
Rooms are clean, modern, and a good size. the bathrooms have a separate tub and shower and are very nice! Beds are a bit soft so our sleep wasn't the best. But otherwise it was great. The common areas were lovely, clean, and staff were great (with the exception of one snarky barmaid....perhaps she was having a bad day). The casino is terrific - the slots are fun with plenty of new ones.

Honestly the rooms were great. The casino was fun. The only complaint I have, was that the main check-in desk was a long walk from the tower we stayed in. There was very little signage or information given beforehand on how to check in. I ended up lugging bags from a parking garage, through a casino, up stairs, then had to retrace my route just to go back to another tower to my room. Those issues were the only ones. The rooms were very clean. Great views. Elevators always came really quick when called. Comfy bed. My girlfriend loved the heat lamp in the bathroom. The casino has a calm relaxed vibe until about 9pm when the younger crowd comes in, so depending on what you're looking for, plan accordingly. Staff at the casino were super helpful and friendly. Fantastic hotel and friendly front desk staff. Chantal was especially helpful when we were having issues with our payment cards. She fixed us up very quickly, thank you! The in-house DJ at the night club was great too! We will most definitely be back!

Went and stayed here with my sis. The room was really nice and newly updated. We stayed on the side with just adults (which was perfect). In the room we had a great view, it was clean and the check-in process with really quick. Now checking out was a different experience, the person that checked us out was kinda of rude, but overall, all it was a nice spacious clean casino. It is a mini version of the Caesars in Las Vegas. Nice restaurants and their restaurants that are walking distance restaurants.

We have stayed there twice. The place itself if beautiful. We stay for days when we go. Both times could not get room cleaned. First time they said we had to ask for it. Second time we asked they said they only clean it after 3 days. After 3 days still not cleaned. When I went to call the phone didn't work. It's really disappointing. I clean in myself both times. Had to catch a employee to get towels. I went through hopper the last time terrible view don't do that. The time before Expedia great view. The rooms are clean when you get there. And the place is really pretty.

We went to a show at the casino that our kids bought us tickets for for Christmas. Everything about it was great. We ate dinner at Spago's,went to casino for a while, then on to the show. We paid for valet parking that was so convenient and well run. The dinner was very reasonable and also the parking. We will watch for shows that we want to see and definitely book something again. Absolutely loved the whole experience.

Came here for a show at the Coluseum. Love the entry re entry if you want to go get food before a show. Guest services and security are all very helpful.
Bars move fast and have a nice selection.
Seats are set up nice to face the stage with 2 big screens to show the audience farther away.
I recommend express parking next to the valet and very fast retrieval.
Clean casino floor. A handful of food options but leave some time if you're going to a show.

I am not into gambling, but if I was, I would certainly look to go here. Very friendly and safe establishment and very clean and modern. Tons of machines and tables and best of all, you do not pay taxes on your winnings like in the USA. Love the fact that there is plenty of indoor parking and it is free.

Great clean hotel and room. Friendly staff. Casino and few great bars. Definitely, challenging parking: park and walk to the hotel to the reception on the second floor or use valet. Another minus is linked room to next door room; do not like to have that option and honestly would like to know in advance if the room is linked. Enjoyed my staff and will be back!

My family and I recently went to Casino Windsor for my cousin's 19th birthday party, and we all had a really good time! The casino had many games to play and lots of fun activities for everyone.
We stayed at a nearby hotel that had a comfortable and clean room. The food at the casino's restaurant was delicious, and there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Overall, Casino Windsor was the perfect place to celebrate my cousin's big day, and we all had a blast! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun place to spend a special occasion.

I really enjoyed my stay! Room was nice, bed was comfy! The casino was great even though I won a bit and then lost it all 😆. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was also really good. Overall a great place to stay and I'll definitely stay here whenever I go to windsor next. Thanks for a great experience 😃

Rooms are clean and comfortable with modern furnishings. Nevertheless, the hotel is surrounded by casino. And casinos have little tricks to try to keep you on the gaming floor, for example, there are no maps of the premises, no pathfinding kiosks. The TVs in the rooms have a guide channel but they’ve left off programming info, they’d rather you not be watching TV. And you know they hide clocks on the game floor. Parking will fill up late on weekends. There are very few shops here, the jewelry vendor is most notable. And relatively few dining options in 2023. Still, I had a nice visit here, and will not hesitate to come back for shows and special events.

Can’t find the main entrance. The signage sucks. We checked in super late (2:30am) only to be woken up just past 9am by house keeping trying to clean our room. Knocked 3 times and I answered and she said I suppose you have a late checkout? I said when is checkout? she said 11! I said that’s in nearly 2 hours what are you talking about. She left after ruining my sleep. You need better communication with the front desk I think. I told the front desk and she didn’t seem to care. The phone in room didn’t work either. Was in charge but wouldn’t hold a charge to call downstairs so I had to use my personal device.

Booked 2 queen bedrooms on the Forum Tower (Luxury River view rooms) for the first weekend in August. Location was great since it was connected to the casino for a couple friends attending the poker tournament. Room itself was nice, large and spacious. Service level however, was disappointing. We requested rooms on high floor with nice views of the river but was assigned rooms on a low floor with a maintenance deck and a big smoke stack right outside the window blocking the view. We arrived and tried checking in just 10 minutes before 3pm (check in time) but was not allowed unless we pay an extra fee to check in 10 minutes early...doesn't make sense at all! To avoid paying this extra fee, we had to line up again after 3 pm when everyone was trying to check in at the same time. Also, when checking in, I asked if there were connecting rooms available (we booked 2 rooms) and was assured no problem and the staff confirmed we were assigned connecting rooms. Well, they were not connected at all once we arrived at the rooms. Anyway, we didn't bother to walk all the way back to Registration to clarify since we were only there for 1 night and simply accepted what was assigned. Honestly, I rather be told up front that no connecting rooms available than being reassured that they were and was assured the views are great but none of this was true when we got to our rooms. For the price paid for these luxury rooms, we expected to be better but somewhat disappointed with the service.

Visited from Detroit. Stayed on a Monday night for best price. Comfortable rooms. Was a bit of a maze to walk inside from the parking garage but when we were leaving someone tipped us that it's easier to just walk across from outside to the lobby rather than snaking thru the casino. One person in our party was 19 and had to show both his ID and US passport to security when going into the casino so make sure to have them both ready and on your person for that. Other than that our stay was a fun night and enjoyed the table games and some slots. Dinner at Legends was great too. Hope to be back soon.

Dawn Marie Johnson 4147 the Janitor made our whole entire night. She was by far the light of our entire night. She was so sweet and caring and does her job so well. She is the best. There was not a spec of dust on anything on the floor and she scrubbed the Cosmos floor with passion. I have never seen such a dedicated worker in my life. If I could promote her to Manager, I would without question. What an amazing experience, Thank you Dawn!!! :)

Stayed here while we were in town visiting friends with our your son.
The rooms are beautiful and the beds are quite comfortable, we also had a panoramic view of Detroit which at night you are surprised by how nice it actually is.
when we came to put our son to bed though we we’re extremely disappointed to find out they no longer offer room service, nor are you allowed alcohol in your rooms.
You can go downstairs and get food and bring it back up to your rooms but not alcohol and they banned bringing alcohol from outside. So when the wife and I wanted to relax, wind down and just have a couple drinks and watch a film while our son slept we just couldn’t.
The TV’s also don’t have the ability to cast or airplay from your phone so unless you want to pay their ridiculous prices for rentals you are stuck with standard cable TV which was fine 15 years ago, but not quite what you would expect from a “luxury” hotel in a suite none the less.
Keep that in mind before booking or going upstairs for the evening.

Very fun place, the clubs are fun and the food / shows are good. I recommend playing digital roulette because there is no minimum bet, table is sometimes 25$ minimum.
- dress nicely or they won’t let you in
- bring 2 forms if ID, drivers license and health card works

Spent two nights there. The room was nicely decorated and clean. It was also very quiet and all the staffs we encountered were absolutely wonderful to us. We would recommend the hotel to anyone wishing a great place to stay. Only drawback it's proximity to the slots.

Just stayed our first night there and enjoyed it. Initially finding our way to the self-park lot was a little more challenging than expected, but I probably have to own that myself.
Once we got inside the building the staff was friendly and helpful, but not all that accurate, in helping us navigate to the various places we had to go.
Room was spacious, with a very large bathroom, and also had a great view of the river. On check-in we made reservations at Nero's steak house in the property. That was pretty smooth given that they were busy due to a Russell Peters show in the the building for the night in question. However, when we called Nero's to adjust the reservation we weren't showing up in their system. That lead to a few anxious moments, but they were still able to squeeze us in, in the end.
Enjoyed some time in their pool area too. Spa is currently closed (still due to COVID, I believe), so that was a bit disappointing.
Overall good experience though. Will return.

To be fair it deserves a 4.5 star rating taking into consideration the following. Most likely Caesar's Windsor is the nicest hotel in town. Our room was on the 20th floor and we had a nice view. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was also nice. I should have taken more photos. The town itself has little to do so I'm happy we opted to staying at the casino hotel. The parking is free but there is a resort fee. The service in the casino itself was a little slow to get a gaming card because they needed to amalgamate the card with other properties I had visited in Vegas so that's the only negative thing that happened. Not the fault of the employees, but waiting half an hour for a card is a little much. Food at breakfast was self service but the prices were reasonable and the food was good. The staff all over the casino were nice and helpful.

Finding the valet parking for the hotel was not easy. Hint…. Its the last sign that just says valet. But check in was fast n easy. The rooms are beautiful. The walk to the elevators though … I will be having them come get my bags. I think it was because I had river view. The river view rooms are spacious. Clean with the tub n shower separate. Super windy out so we stayed on site for dinner. Lots of options.

I was denied entry Saturday morning because I had a backpack containing my breast pump. I was told I would need to leave my bag in the car and pump in the parking garage. I ended up just leaving. My understanding is that this isn’t legal seeing how it is a medical device. Is this allowed? I would like to know for next time
Brandi Branton — Google review
I would only recommend this place if you have lots of money. Don't trust online booking, you get redirected to a 3rd party that adds another service charge of $139. I then was put in the wrong tower and while moved me to a new room they added $200 more to my credit card without telling me. And because I didn't want to be further gauged by valet parking I had to park off site and carry my baggage across the street. The rooms are basically just a cleaner version of any hotel with the same plastic cups. No closet even in the room I was in. I gave the extra star only because they were able to move me while still claiming to be fully booked.

The spa is my favorite part, the indoor pool with views of the river is great! Awesome gym, sauna and private showers, they thought of everything!! Highly recommend. Great for a one night getaway to a “foreign” country lol. They also have a list of awesome shows revolving through. Also the buffet is amazing and very vegan friendly with many Mediterranean options. Easy in and out across the border.

Visited to see the Tiffany Haddish show; booked 2 nights. Check-in took over 15 minutes based on some silly tiered member program.
Room was nice and updated, but a bit dusty. The view was good, however, our room had a conjoining door and we found the noise disturbing - called reception at 9:30 pm to request assistance, but the employee Chris refused to address the issue. As he stated that it was not yet 11 pm. By 1 am our neighbors were screaming profanities and asked to leave the hotel. We were woken again by 3:30 am. The hotel staff did nothing to remove these patrons, not address the noise complaint.
The food at Spage was delicious and the portions were generous. We found the resort very walkable, but staff are not well trained to address questions. Their overall service was far too casual. Don't allow the valet parking to convince you that self- parking is inconvenient; it's easy and leads directly to all amenities - save the $20 per day.

Hosts do not follow through with offers/accommodations, granted they left the company before we got there. Aggressive valet experience, filed a complaint, still no resolution. What was supposed to be a great weekend visit, turned out to be just not that. Lots of people holding machines with jackets/coats, one lady had 4 machines blocked and after multiple requests, nothing was done??? Will not revisit, regret going there.....zero resolution to anything....

Two towers with rooms. Right now (early 2024) Augustus Tower is nicer. The views of the ships on the river with the Detroit skyline beyond are great. The casino itself has everything you want. My one lament is the music, which is typical of the Buffalo-Cleveland-Windsor corridor: 1970s retreads (which the locals just can't get enough of no matter how many times they hear, apparently; definitely a regional thing).
Nero's steakhouse is worth getting a reservation or, if you luck out, you might score a seat at Nero's bar.
Outside, taking a walk along the riverfront is a great way to get some sun and fresh air while enjoying the views.
Parking is free and easy, but be prepared to walk because you have to cross the property to get to the Augustus Tower. Alternatively, the valet gives you the option of eliminating the walk (nice attendants and responsive service).

Desk assistant manager has a terrible attitude. We ended up canceling our room because she was so very rude. The hotel staff then charged our two different cards a debit card and credit card on file for the full amount. When asked about it they just said it would come back on our card. But we would be without those funds for 3-5 days is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this place and will spend my money elsewhere.

Lovely stay. Was on the 19th floor. Room is spacious, clean and modern. Plenty of towels, walk in shower was separate from the tub and there was a sitting space with a large couch. Beautiful view from the room.

We visited the casino (our first time) and had dinner at Legends.
The casino is very clean and staff is very friendly.
Legends food was good. Prices were reasonable. Our waiter was super nice and efficient.
Edit: after looking at the reviews, I noticed the Casino only seems to respond to positive reviews and does not address the poor reviews. It's seems the biggest complaint is the check-in desk and housekeeping. I'm wondering if our planned return visit for a night may be a mistake. 🤔

If you're looking for some fun in Windsor, Caesars is a must stop. The casino floor is clean and spacious with hundreds of slot machines and plenty of table games to chose from. The Colosseum event space is also great, we saw Bad Friends and it was hilarious. Highly recommend stopping in at Ariius nightclub as well.

Beautiful casino. Clean, stylish rooms. We actually had an accessible room (we didn’t know until we entered the room) and it was very spacious and had a walk in shower and a bathtub. We did not have a view, we where given an option, but we decided on a no view. No big deal to us.
The only complaint I have is that we entered the casino/hotel enter an e through the parking garage with suitcases, bags etc and we had to walk too far as in threw the casino up an escalator to get to the check out. Then back all the way through again. No big deal but luggage carts or something should be offered. Our bags were heavy and I can only imagine elderly people having to do the same.
But we are very happy with our stay and we decided to come back in a months time.

I can tell you that this casino has zero respect for their players. They don’t care how much money or trine you spend in their establishment. We are regular players (seven star) and even though we spend more time there than their staff, we get treated very poorly. I highly recommend going anywhere else, Detroit is minutes away… And they have 3 casinos that treat their players so much better!!! So steer clear of Caesars Windsor, and go elsewhere!!! Also found a dirty fork with cake icing on it in our room, next to the bed. Gross,

Adventure Bay Family Water Park Presented by WFCU Credit Union
Adventure Bay Family Water Park is an indoor aquatic amusement park that boasts a variety of thrilling activities for all ages, including slides, a lazy river, wave pool and activity pool. Although reasonably priced with friendly entry staff, the limited operating hours from 12-4pm tend to create congestion at peak times. Despite this drawback, Adventure Bay has everything toddlers need and multiple slides for older children.
Super fun place and excellent place to take smaller children! Very short walk from Town Place Suites in Windsor! Food is so-so. Acceptable, but not great. Very fun water slides, and great prices for all day entry! Get there early (10am) and have the place to yourself for a few hours!

Love this place!
Every time is a great experience
Super clean and family friendly
Lots of great rides, water carpet rides, and 2 huge rides, and a lazy river (with or with inner tubes), a great wave pool, and regular pools, and an amazing kids play structure with multiple smaller slides for kids, and tons of water features (including water buckets, jets, and fountains) -- but the Flow Rider is the best (well worth the wait times)
Has a good food bar, and frozen drinks too
Lots of life guards keeping everyone safe
Great time we'll worth checking out at LEAST once...
but after one try, and you'll probably be hooked, and hopefully have many happy returns :)
There is also a dry jungle gym place too, and many "regular swim lane pools" -- but we've not tried those (yet) so I can't review 'em

It's a great experience especially for kids.
It gets so busy on the weekends and the lineup is crazy. Sometimes they are at capacity so I would recommend you book online for a smoother check in.
The bathrooms/changing rooms/shower/lockers can get full/busy, take that into consideration.
Parking available around the park and at nearby restaurants (the later ~ $5).

If you love to slide, it’s a must-checkout! Last time I went to a similar place was ages ago so it really brought me joy, almost zero complaints. Bring your own lock if you carry anything valuable or just leave it unlocked in the locker or whatever.

I’ve been to Adventure Bay twice in the last year to bring my niece and nephews. The kids loved it, and honestly it was fun for me too. My only complaint is that I feel it could be open for longer, 12-4pm makes it feel a bit crowded. I feel like if they were open for the whole day, it might reduce the number of people there all at the same time.

Wow. This place was actually super fun. In town for work and travelling with kids AND we could see it from our Hotel room, so we decided to go for a couple of hours. It was packed but the lines weren't too long for the big slides. Did anyone else feel like they were going to die on The Python?!? We'll definitely be back and will probably make this a permanent part of our trips back to Windsor!

It's been many years since I visited this place. Roughly 10 years. Just went there with my 2 year old daughter and seeing the amount of joy in her eyes was priceless. Going to try and visit at least once a month if possible. The surf rider is an awesome bonus for the adults. Shower water was too hot and needs to be fixed. Family change rooms need to be a little warmer. Feels like you're walking into a freezer and didnt like that for my daughter. Highly recommend visiting here with your kids.

Check in was easy but I recommend buying tickets online before coming. Then it’s faster. Especially with eager little ones. They don’t want to wait in line. We came later at 1:30 and there was still a line to get in. We waited about 15 minutes. Bring a lock for your locker. Kids 12 and up can attend alone. I watched from a window above. Parking can often be tricky. This time I parked in the nearest parking garage to the east. There was a swim meet going on and there was no parking in the lots to the west of the complex. Parking is not free but is reasonable.

Bought advanced tickets and was able to skip the line. Was changed and ready before the doors were even opened to the water area. Would recommend buying in advance. Lots of parking in the lot next to adventure bay. You don’t have to cross any steers, just a grassy area, perfect if you have little ones.
I love going on week days as it usually isn’t too busy and because we go right when it opens, the lines aren’t long. We are able to do the slides multiple times before waiting becomes and issue.
Very clean, family friendly and have always had great experiences when visiting.
Staff is friendly and does a good job watching little ones and making sure the older ones aren’t being too rambunctious.
It’s a great spot to spend a few hours with the family, young and old, there is fun to be had when you’re at adventure bay!

This place is awesome!
There is a large swimming pool, and a smaller one where they do exercises, or swimming lessons.
But the main attraction is the indoor water park. The air and water are nice and warm, so there's no need to worry about keeping warm.
There are several slides that range from very small (for toddlers) all the way to large, fast and long ones. There's also a lazy river, wave pool.
There's fun for kids of all ages, and adults as well.
There is a large family change room.

Place used to be 5 starts but from cleanliness standpoint, it is not anymore.
They should enforce a swimming cap rule or something. Big clumps of long hair floating all over the place. People visiting don't know basics of hygiene. People swimming in their street clothes so not sure how the "proper swimming attire" is being enforced. Absolutely no one takes a shower before Entering the water, not to mention the ones not even there to swim but still take off their stinky socks and just wash their feet where everyone swims.
Absolutely disgusting 🤢.

I took my son today. It was busy but enjoyable. All the staff were friendly and kept everything going smoothly. Water was warm which was a pleasant surprise. Parking was $5 at the lot across the road. Bought tickets online and just had to scan to get in. Bring a lock or buy one there.

Nice place to take kids. We had booked tickets in advance so didn’t had to wait much. Parking is very limited. It was crowded for weekend but overall it was clean. Lot of place to sit for parents who don’t want to go in water. Must try the surfing area.

The hours of operation are terribly now . Because they are only open in the weekend 12-4 it gets very packed fast. We got there right at opening and within a half hour the place was a zoo. Lines were long for slides and they did not have enough inflatables for the yellow two person slide so you waited along time for a tube. They really should have a hot tub for adults as well. I went to use up gift cards we had . Fun place but too busy now for the size .

Walkerville Brewery is a must-visit spot with a beautiful interior and a large selection of draft beer. Visitors enjoyed the Unfiltered Honest Lager and Geronimo IPA, and are looking forward to returning with friends to try more from the menu. The brewery also hosts events like the Night Market, which visitors were excited to attend after being sold on it by the friendly staff. The experience was made even better by delicious pizza from "Slices" and the hospitality of Nicki and Jayden.
We walked into the bar looking to kill some time and have a drink and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! The pizza we ordered from "Slices" was amazing and so delicious. Huge thank you to Nicki and Jayden (apologies for spelling) for their hospitality and absolutely awesome personalities. Nice, spacious taproom, which looked like it had it's share of regulars and a few visitors passing through Windsor. Ended up going with a flight of three beers and the cider.I liked them all, so I got a half pint of another beer to try.
I especially liked the cider, which wasn't too sweet or too dry. Had a chance to chat with one of the employees, Ron, who went into detail how they settled on the recipe they have for the cider they have today.
It only took 10 years to finally visit this brewery, and hopefully the next visit will be very soon!

Been a few times when I'm in Windsor, had tours before COVID, enjoyed many different beers and ciders. It can be a little louder with a full crowd but it's all part of the experience. Always friendly staff whether staying for a beer or two or just popping into the bottle shop!

This is a nice place, good service, good selection of good beer. Currently there is no food menu, but I was told you can bring takeout.

Beautiful brewery / pub right in the heart of Olde Walkerville district. Great selection of house brewed beers on tap and cans and growlers available for purchase in the gift shop. The staff is courteous and friendly. Highly recommend for a quick beer or spend the evening. A nice selection of pizza and snacks is also available.

Great beer and great environment! I usually stop at local breweries and happy I stopped here. They had live music, minor eats, lots of good beers, lots of seating, and it was busy. I also appreciate the history of Walkerville and the beer near the entrance. I recommend people stop in and try out some beer.

Knowledge and friendly staff gave us excellent custom drink recommendations! We had a cider and a pumpkin ale, both great and not too sweet. The food was just right to pair with the drinks. The space was bright and clean, restrooms immaculate!

Went to see the Coffee House Combo jazz group last night at Walkerville Brewery. They are there the 1st Sunday of every month. Amazing jazz combo! Full house! We are making it a regular date night! Feel free to share

When you enter, you quickly get a sense of the history that is here. There's so many cool historical artifacts on display showing the history of not only this brewery but the surrounding area.
There is a large space where different events are held.
And of course, there's the brewery where you can enjoy many fresh tasty beers either on tap or to go.

Fantastic spot! Delicious beers (try the Irish Red!), great pizza made right at the bar, fun and welcoming interior, and friendly and fun staff. We had such a great time we went twice in the same day!

Walkerville Brewery is must visit when visiting Windsor. They are located in historic Walkerville. The history of this microbrewery goes back to the 19th century.Lots of choices of craft beer.Highly recommend .

My favorite brewery. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. There's always something going on, be it trivia night or pretzels or football. They always have a nice selection of beer on tap plus the usual regular beer. I was looking forward to pizza until I saw it was supermarket frozen. Honestly? NOT for $15. Very disappointed.
Coventry Gardens is a landscaped green space with a seasonal fountain that floats and features light shows on the Detroit River. It's an ideal spot for walking with family, friends, and pets in the summer when flowers are in full bloom. There's plenty of shade from trees and park benches along with a ping pong area to enjoy. You can also have picnics since there are several garbage cans available.
I love the Coventry Gardens at Reaume Park! So spacious and always well-taken care of. Great for hanging out with family and friends. Even on busy days you can still find spots to sit far away from people and noise. There are also areas to fish close by.

Beautiful, well maintained park for the whole family. Foot traffic only. Lots of benches. Dog friendly. Cooleez Ice Cream Parlour on site
A Maroszek — Google review
It's a park with a view of the Detroit skyline from the side. It's got some bushes cut in animal shapes, although some of them aren't really discernable what animals they were supposed to be, hahaha.
Andrew Deng — Google review
I love this garden. On all of riverside drive I find they have the most flowers and beautiful views. I just love seeing all the tulips planted here early spring. The river side ice cream place in Coventry gardens is fantastic too, who wouldn't love a nice water side stroll with some ice cream. There's always a line but it's worth the wait.

A beautiful park along the river side with benches to sit and rest and full of ducks

Very neat park, with plenty of flowers, and shrubs to see on various levels. There's many well cut shrubs too in different animals shapes. The trail still leads fairly far, but eventually closes off. There's a parking lot with washrooms and ice cream shop.

Gorgeous place to visit. Ice cream available for the kiddos. The only downside to it is that there is no more than like few parking lots, so good luck getting a parking lot. And the peace fountain for which this park is famous for was not in order for a while now.
Sla La — Google review
Beautiful and well thought out garden beds and topiaries. Saw many family's and people's pets taking a stroll. Good for photo-ops as I've seen many wedding parties stop to take photos. Ice cream and washrooms at entrance by Pilette

A lovely riverside park and well taken care of with many beautiful flowers and a lots of rest bench. I have to say it is much more beautiful than the one across the river. lol

A very picturesque park area, it's definitely a great place to take a walk with your family, friends, and dogs (especially in the summer where they've really gone all out and the flowers are in full bloom with not a weed in sight on the beds). Great place with a ping pong area and plenty of park benches with shade from the trees. Definitely a good place to have a picnic. Parking is free and there's a lot of garbage cans to throw out your garbage. The flowers, like the sunflowers, hydrangeas, lily, hedges, etc. are great backgrounds to take a picture with other than the fountain. Would definitely come back, maybe in the winter or fall to have a different experience walking in the park!
Craft Heads Brewing Company offers an eclectic mix of up to 30 beers in their taproom, catering to a wide range of tastes. One unique offering is their collaboration with Blak's Bakery for a Paczki beer. Visitors can enjoy the cool vibe and try out various styles, including sours and fruity options like watermelon and mango. The brewery also provides the option to sample multiple beers at once through flights, allowing patrons to explore the diverse selection available.
Last month I stopped in for first time got 4-5 different beers, the flamango stood out to me. It's the best 5 out of 5 stars. It's delicious mango beer thick no pulp and a cloudy beer which I love. 👍👍👍👍
I went back 2 weeks later to get all mango. 🥭🥭
Also the amount of beers on tap is impressive most impressive 20-30 I think the bartender said, many bars are lucky to have more then 2 or 3 on tap.

A good local beer. Though none on tap. Sat outside on the patio enjoying the ambiance of the Motor City from a quiet distance. The busker playing tunes across the street was rockin. A warm night, a tasty caesar salad and a cold beer. What's better than that? If you are looking for ' "fine dining" try somewhere else.

As someone that's not a beer person this place is great to go to as the drinks are so diverse, you can easily find something that taste good. Also the staff are real friendly and chill. Good study spot as well.

Amazing selection of beer! Always fantastic service! Love the patio in the summer! Comedy and trivia nights are the best! Super fun crowd all the time! Next door to some fabulous pizza at Terra Cotta which you can bring into the taproom to eat! 10/10 would recommend

many years back when i was a younger thinner man this was aardvark blues cafe. i had many many good times here.. to this day it is still one of my favorite bars i ever drank in. i was young and still had some vitality. i miss those days. the sodden reflection of flab and filth i see in the mirror... that can't be me. can it? my bartender was rodney and he was a great guy.
the brewery here now is quite nice. it a quiet corner to have a drink away from the flashier bars of the main street. but i miss my blues music bar and i miss my youth

Craft Heads is one of the best breweries in the whole world! They are adventurous and pull off every beer they make. Kevin and the bartenders are so fun and make the experience a lot better. They have ales, sours, porters, ipas, the whole gamut! They have outdoor seating with picnic tables. Pro tip: get their beer advent calendar released at the end of each year! Come here asap!

Dumber than dumb. I called for a reservation over 2 weeks prior for 30 people and they had no clue why we were there. Then the guy at the bar was soooooo rude.NEVER RETURNING!!!! They wanted us in and out and told us to leave. Absolutely so upset, this was my birthday and I was excited to have one of our party spots there. Very upsetting. Zero stars.

One of the few great places to grab a pint downtown. From the moment you step in you can tell its meant for beer lovers. A huge selection of delicious beers, labeled, explained, and categorized perfectly. Every holiday they always have a great holiday themed brew that I always enjoy. The prices are great for the quality you get from these local brews. They even have a small of assortment of snacks and candy if you need a snack, and also allow food to be ordered. The brewery's commitment to quality is evident in each meticulously crafted beer. The diverse range of styles offered something for every palate. The knowledgeable staff are happy to shared insights and enhance the overall enjoyment of the tasting experience. The ambiance, coupled with the friendly community vibe, made it a perfect spot to unwind and savor exceptional brews. Whether you're a seasoned beer connoisseur or a casual enthusiast, this craft brewery offers a tasteful journey i always enjoy. I look forward to my next visit to explore more of their inventive creations.

We had an amazing experience here when we were visiting Windsor. The selection was awesome and we really enjoyed the atmosphere inside the bar. Very laidback and relaxing while hanging out with friends vibe. The bartender was very pleasant and knowledgeable about what went into each beer. We loved that they offer growlers to fill with a craft beer and take home as a reusable souvenir! We will definitely be returning.
Assumption Park is a serene spot with beautiful sculptures created by artists from around the world. It's a great place for fishing, especially during white bass season, and offers stunning views of the Detroit and Windsor skylines. The park is popular for morning and afternoon walks/runs along the river, providing a peaceful atmosphere to relax and unwind. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the quiet riverside ambiance and take in the sunset views from this picturesque location.
Nice sculptures made by artist from around the globe help your mind to be peaceful and let you be thoughtful. Positive vibes flows in the bank of river which separates two countries. Scenery of the Detroit and windsor from here is worth to enjoy. Chill out here and get refreshed. Loved this place all the way.

This place is great! It took 6 hours to drive by there, from scarborough. There are fishing spots all around the river sides. People are on walks/ runs in the morning and afternoons. Get a fishing license and visit there in the white bass season. Youll catch tons of white bass there. Also get minnows to catch those bad boys. Have a safe trip

Great place to walk and clear the mind, alone or with others, is generally well kept and clean. Much to see and a good view of the Detroit riverfront.

The park is a great place to visit and wind-down...just be careful WHEN you decide to visit. Too often it is now seemingly overran by hordes of kids where the parents are nowhere to be seen! Apparently this public space is now "the village's" backyard!!!
Not sure how you can excuse this behaviour as "cultural differences" though, as good manners, politeness and respect for others never go our of style regardless what you originally called "home" 😔

Small open park right by the Ambassador bridge and Windsor Sculpture Park. There's a small memorial here, and some of the contemporary sculptures start on this side of Riverside Dr.

Art upstairs
Cons.
Lots of space not alot in it.
Small
It could use more.

Here's the thing with this review, I haven't went upstairs yet. I always have kids with me and I am just not willing to let my insane children loose near works of art. Will update this review,if I ever make it up.
It's a nice little museum and worth the price.

Very interesting museum with many displays and lots of information. The museum is not just for kids but can be interesting for adults as well. I highly recommend a visit to Chimczuk Museum. One can take as little as an hour or up to two and a half hours to complete the tour of the museum. I myself don't stop and read every single word and look at every single display but on this trip my interest was held much longer. Being from the US and visiting with my wife's family in Windsor Ontario there's a lot of history in which I was not aware.

The Chimczuk Museum has a lot of interesting local history, starting from before humans arrived until present day. Includes a lot of fascinating information regarding indigenous history, French history, the underground railroad, prohibition, and more! I'm really glad I made the trip!

Have been here a couple times and it's really interesting to learn about Windsor and surrounding areas history. It's also cool to see how Windsor fits into the bigger historic events like 1812 and our role in defending against the Americans. Could spend a few hours looking and reading through everything, and they have a lot of events throughout the year as well.

Went for the dinosaur display. A little disappointed. Line up was bad, so they offered a free pass for another day. We ended up getting in but it was only a single room and people were sneaking in from the exit. Went through other parts with the extra time we had though so that was nice.

Overall good experience, enjoyed the Scandinavian/Slavic exhibit (but I believe that it is temporary). Pushed the Native angle a little too hard in my opinion, and would have like to seen the World War One/Two exhibit expanded. Definitely a place I have suggested to friends and family.
